Very clean but breakfast wasn’t the best it was just ok!!

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good, the location had easy access to the freeways.

Beds are very comfortable, Breakfast was the usual eggs, sausage and waffles. Nice staff.

Our stay was great. Very friendly staff. It was down the street from FIFA events and Kia Forum. Lots of people stayed here that attended both.

Parking, while available, was not connected to the motel. Also, there was no mention of parking fees in the online ad.

You know, this place was a gem! I wanted a clean place, not always easy to find in LA no matter what the brand/price is. This place exceeded my expectation. Great staff, very good hotel breakfast, room super clean, quiet location, a parking deck. I won't forget this location next time near LAX.

Nothing First things first, they had me standing outside. There was nobody at the front desk and the door wasn't open so I'm standing outside for 15 minutes until I had my wife call and then they opened the door then they told me it was gonna be a $100 deposit which I expected, but they don't take cash which I wasn't told or wasn't expecting then I finally put it on my card and on my way back the door was locked again so had to wait and then was told that they don't even take my card then, after that was also told that parking is $15, and it'll be taken out of my deposit, which wasn't told to me either.Overall just a terrible experience

Staff were great, good breakfast, the room size great. but the property needs full floor renovation. There is an old damp smell throughout the property. They had big fans blowing in the corridor. There may have been water leaks. My room had a weird smell when you enter. Then by the bed there was smell of pee. It was constant and very disgusting. We used the room just to sleep and nothing else. I would not return to that place ever.

I came for medical test at UCLA and my experience was that I wasn't informed of the $15 parking fee to park on the street in a handicap spot with my placard. The room had this pungent smell. Like a very musty smell. Old man smell. Then in the bathroom the toilet appeared clean until seat lifted and the toilet seat and the whole rim of the toilet was crusted with a #2 explosion and a palm spot on the bathroom door. Otherwise it was quiet and very respectful. I would lean more towards my visit experience with the bathroom was most likely an oversight, not their normal. The carpet for sure needs attention and I'm taken aback with the parking. Im on 24hr oxygen so I also may be hypersensitive to the odors.

I appreciated that the hotel offered free breakfast. However, the breakfast area was very small and could only accommodate about three people at a time. The selection included a bread station with bagels, English muffins, and similar items, as well as fruit and yogurt. They also offered coffee, orange juice, apple juice, and I believe a water dispenser, though the orange juice tasted watered down. The only meat option appeared to be only pork sausage. The room was unacceptable. The floors were dirty, the rugs had an unpleasant odor, and the surfaces did not appear to have been cleaned. There was hair in the bathroom shower, and the original room reserved for me appeared to have water damage. Although I was eventually moved to another room, the overall experience was very disappointing and the inconvenience was extremely frustrating.

Breakfast area is extreamly cramped and small. Parking and accessing the property is very tight and difficult. Not enough parking or space for larger vehicles which is not clear in property description.

The room was clean and check in was easy NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE. I booked this hotel for an overnight layover. I got a message AFTER I booked that they no longer are doing airport shuttles so I ended up spending $70 on taxis. I way would have rather spent the extra $70 on a nicer hotel closer to the airport that has a shuttle service.

The hotel was clean and quiet area. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was good and the eggs served was one of the best eggs I've eaten at a hotel. I hope to stay there again in the future.

This hotel is part of a chain. Compared to the one near the airport, this one is much more spacious, with a large room and very comfortable beds. We had stayed at a hotel in downtown Los Angeles the day before, so the difference was noticeable. The breakfast is good, and it’s about a 10-minute drive to the airport. At the same price level, this hotel is truly a great value.

Super comfy and cozy room. Even the floor was a cloudy carpet! The bed was pillowy yet firm enough to feel supported and the pillows stayed fluffy. Everything was very clean, the kitchenette and balcony was a very nice touch. Adding to my list of favorites!

Carpet was dirty, broken night latch, broken bathroom lock door, no elevator coming from the garage. This was a layover stay in LAX so it is what it is, but won't recommend this place if you have other last min choices.

The room we was given wasn’t as clean as the previous reviews. The carpet had a smell to it and I couldn’t walk barefooted in the room. You can tell it’s a bit run down. Other than that, the staff and stay was peaceful and quiet.

And boy, did I try. I made the booking through Orbitz and had them attempt to get a refund, which was denied. I then left two unanswered messages with the manager and finally tracked someone down a week later. And again, despite me requesting this almost a month prior to my arrival, I was turned down flat. It's not like I was asking something extraordinary...I travel a lot and have never had a problem before. So, bottom line, if there is any chance that your trip details might change, or you experience any kind of problem and you want to talk to someone over there, well, by all means, book with these asshats. It's like talking to a wall.

I love the cockatoo and it’s absolutely perfect. The price points are always on point. The staff is friendly kind. The property is clean adequately equipped. You never run out of anything so I definitely recommend this property if you ever just need a quick spot fresh breakfast every day so 10 out of 10.

The hotel is not new but not terribly outdated. The surrounding areas are okay, and it’s very close to the airport. For one or two nights, it is okay. I wouldn’t stay longer.

The room was spacious with a full kitchen, including a full-size refrigerator, sink, cabinets, microwave, and even a stove. The parking was very strange, as it was not connected to the hotel. You had to walk down the street to enter the garage, which was locked, via code. So, it was secure, which was nice, but we did not want to walk down the street at night later to get the few things we forgot in the car. Hallways looked unfinished, maybe they are about to add wallpaper? Just plain white walls, sort of dingey looking. There was an argument between two guests during breakfast that lasted nearly 10 minutes right in front of the registration desk/breakfast area. The staff did nothing to de-escalate the situation. It was a very loud disturbance and was not appreciated. Breakfast was good, but no toppings for the waffles other than syrup. Eggs, sausage patties and English muffins to make McMuffins were yummy. Bread for toast, yogurt, orange juice. AC in the room was very loud and had to use pillows to cover ears to be able to sleep. Beds were very comfortable and the pillows were the best pillows we had on our entire week-long trip that included stays at three different hotels. The room had a musty smell. The water pressure in the shower was excellent! There was a missing knob on the stove. Several fast-food places around including Jack In the Box, McDonalds and Taco Bell. For $120 for the night, it was a good deal with the above mentioned inconveniences.

I loved it here. They provide breakfast. Staff is friendly. Rooms are very clean. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the walk from the hotel to the parking garage. The garage is down the street and you have to walk the stairs to get to the 2nd or 3rd floor. No elevator. It was a struggle bringing belongings back and forth. There’s an elevator which is in the hotel. Other than that, I will come back again.

The hallways smelled like pot even though it’s suppose to be a non smoking facility. The tile in our bathroom next to the tub was cracked and I was afraid I was going to cut my feet. The shower faucet was hard to operate as it seemed to get stuck while trying to open it. The refrigerator made a really loud noise, to the point where I was close to disconnecting it.

Overall we found the place decent for an overnight stay prior to heading to LAX airport. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was decent too. The location and entry to the hotel was a bit awkward and cramped, there is no real driveway and the parking structure is detached from the hotel buidling. However, parking is gated and locked, which I think is a great feature!

Definitely looks better and cleaner in the pictures advertised. Enjoyed the free breakfast. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of certain areas of the room. Shower head was visibly dirty with heavy residue buildup. It did not look properly cleaned or maintained, which was a concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Found stains on the bed, and lashes. I was advised rooms aren't cleaned till after three days of your stay unless you request it which I did twice and the room was never cleaned , or at least that they take out the garbage and I didn't receive either service. Garbage was never taken out for the whole stay which was Wed-Sun

I came back to my room at 12:45am from a work event. Please keep in mind, all week I have been coming in late after hours. No one has checked key card and the doors were never locked. So my last night I get to the 2nd floor and a homeless man is hanging out by the vending machine. I immediately start speed walking to my room key in hand. When I turned the corner, I looked back and he was following right behind me with nothing from the vending machine. I was extremely frightened. I ended up getting the door open after 2 tries but only opened enough to slide my body in and lock the door behind me. I barricaded my balcony and door for the rest of the night. My safety was completely compromised. I filed a report with the hotel and expedia and everyone is acting non-chalant. Anything could've happened to me as I was traveling alone. It was just a very neglectful situation.

Overall, it was a good experience. The room was comfortable and the stay was okay. However, the AC was a bit noisy, and there was a slightly strange odor in the room. The breakfast was good, but it was the same every day, so guests planning a longer stay may get tired of the limited variety. No other options were available, even though we were told at check-in that the breakfast would vary. Additionally, the it was told during check-in that pool is a heated pool, but the water was cold every time we checked throughout the day.

Staff was courteous. About 6 minutes from the Enterprise rental drop off. You're required to pay $10 for parking, which was deducted from my $50 hold placed on the room. Full fridge, microwave, glass top stove, coffee maker. The water pressure for the hot water coming from the bathroom sink was nonexistent. Typical crunchy towels and no inner shower liner. The hot water in the shower itself never actually got hot and there was visible mold on the ceiling. We had to use the faucet in the kitchenette to wash our faces. We were only there for a night but I've stayed at other Comfort Suites that were much more pleasant. 6789

Parking was bad. If you have a cargo box on top of your car, good luck trying to park in the parking area. You won’t fit if you’re over 7’. The street of the hotel was like driving down an alley and it was so compact and crowded. Hotel felt compact and very small. There was only 1 way in and 1 way out through the lobby and passing the front desk every time. Breakfast was not good at all. Did not have any variety and quality of food was bad. I stayed 2 nights and same food menu everyday. The room was spacious and pretty much the only thing good about the hotel. The shower pressure was bad and trickle down when showering. The carpet in hallway was dirty and the carpet in bedroom had a medium size hole right in the middle of the room. The shower handle was very hard to twist. The first morning when heading out I asked the front desk for cleanup service or at least fresh towels, I didnt get either. Overall disappointed and I would say I would not stay here again. This would be the first and only time staying here!

I wish I had known about the parking situation beforehand. We were running late for a concert at the forum and it took longer because parking is gated and not available on the street unless you pay and if there is a spot because by night time, outside was full. The accommodations were fine, better than we expected but the parking really put us behind schedule!

Only two complaints I would say I have is the continental eating/food area(s) were a bit tight for more than one person and the eating area was basically the front lobby, and there is a second charge on my card for $10 charge that I was not told would be there ( later found out it was parking). Our stay Nov 4-5 2025, was not a good stay. Our had no water pressure or hot water on the Hot side of the bathroom faucet. The cold was fine. We mentioned it to the front desk upon checking out. We called the hotel after the funeral we were in town attending, we spoke with the Hotel Manager, she is not a very nice person nor is she customer friendly. I had an issue with bedbugs earlier this year and had been trying to connect with her on that issue. During our conversation with the hotel manager she informed me that she had the room checked for the bedbugs 7/22/2025 and also the water in room we checked out of today and found neither of our complaints to be true or valid. We have pictures to substantiate our findings. Not only was the Hotel Manager rude and offensive she dismissed the total issues we brought to her attention. You would think with all the other Hotels in the near vicinity that she would be more accommodating to paying customers. Without customers you have no employment. So going forward if you are looking for a hotel, do yourself a favor protect yourself and family, DO NOT STAY at Cockatoo Comfort Inn. You become the villain when reporting issues within their Hotel. Stayed 1 night, Nice and clean, comfy beds, good shower and a nice basic breakfast, helpful staff on reception on check in, only problem was the cleaning staff assuming we had checked out in the morning and coming into our room to clean the room, we hadn't checked out and handed our key cards in we had just gone out to the nearby car park and returned to our room to use the shower before checking out but they had already entered and took the shower curtain away and began cleaning! This was more than an hour before our stated check out time of 11am so they shouldn't be doing an end of stay clean.

It was a great stay, don’t give us enough towels and gave us a room that someone had smoked in prior to our stay while my baby was already sleeping on the bed. But honestly I love staying here I would 10/10 stay here again. The staff was friendly about everything. Sometimes stuff happens on different stays

We loved the property and room. the only issue we experienced was the room in front of ours was having a party and their guest were very loud, children screaming up and down the hallway. with that aside we would book here again. (preferably with a room away from parties LOL)

A little loud but great location

The room was mediocre at best. Strong smell of cleaning chemicals made us crack the window. Felt a little rundown. The major issue is the location. Very inconvenient in a sense of parking. It’s situated at the end of an extremely cramped and narrow road. It felt very unsafe and dirty around this area. I would not stay here again and do not recommend it.

Clean and comfortable for the rate

Under air conditioning was wet. Bug was found on bed, although they are comfortable. Area isn’t the greatest and parking can be a hassle. Breakfast is limited and packed and you have to wait a while if you want a waffle as that’s the only main course. I also had to wait until 3:30 or so for check in due to room not being ready yet they called me and told me if I checked in late my reservation would be cancelled??? I went based off reviews when I booked but now I need to be more careful…

Clean room staff nice

Our room’s AC was not working and my wife is pregnant. It was very difficult for us to get through the night. On calling the staff, they just asked us to open the windows but they didn’t show any consideration towards my pregnant wife. Overall our experience was not nice because we just wanted to sleep peacefully which we couldn’t.

Room smelled like cigarette

This was just okay. We just needed somewhere to sleep one night so this worked.

Everything was seamless, check in and out. family friendly atmosphere. i asked for an extra blanket and they brought me one. i was pleased. a little noisy at the room location for the elevator and ice machine, but it did not bother me i just noticed it. full size fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

Difficult getting into parking , area was tight.

The hotel is simple and very nice. The young ladies at the desk are so sweet, friendly and very informative and nice. Walkable restaurants. Uber is great every wheres we needed.

The room was musty and dank, but decent enough that we didn't ask for another. The pool was nice and there were pool towels available. Front desk personnel were friendly at first and then after check in when we would ask for something they almost seemed perturbed. The breakfast was very good I will say!

Nice clean and comfortable. Check in was long due to only one person works the counter there. The parking was terrible.

Stayed here with my wife and daughter. Good value for the price, which was excellent but LA standards. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and gave good suggestions. Although the window looked out onto a yard full of dog poop, it was large, quiet, and had a full-sized fridge. The queen beds and pillows were very comfortable. Although we did not use the pool, it seemed clean and well maintained. Parking was secure and only $10/night. Will definitely stay again when we come back in the spring.

I started staying at this hotel November 2024, do to medical isuues when I come to California this is where I stay, it's convenient my doctor even reached out to the Fire department and set it up if they ever receive a call with my name from comfort inn, they already has an idea of what going on and hospital I need to go to. I be here for 1-2 weeks a month depending on my treatment. I had little issues a couple of times with the rooms, the matter was fixed nothing to make a big deal over. I would say about 4 or 5 months ago, I'll randomly be checked in by Daisy, it seem every time I'm checked in by her my check in is always hell she always have attitude I only have this issue with her. After the first couple of times when I notice this only happens with her every time I check in, I record my check in. I checked in Aug 17th by Daisy as usual it was hell. Finally got into a room went to take a shower, the shower was draining so slow that the tub looked like I was taking a bath, went to let daisy know what's going on and can she let the manger know the next day to send someone to fix it. Next day at 2pm ok nobody's coming to fix the tub, went to the front desk to speak to the manger only for the manger to tell me Daisy said she offered to send someone and I declined, what I hate is a liar, why would I even mentioned it if I didn't want it fix. The manger fixed the issue immediately, remember I said i sarted recording every conversation I had with Daisy wish I was able to post.

Our stay was super comfortable and quiet! We loved how central this location was to the beach, airplane watching, stores, restaurants!

Breakfast is terrible

The room which I got has dated/damaged flooring/carpet with musty smell. Bathroom fittings are also old and a bit clunky.

The only thing I can say is about parking when checking in or out. Not to many options in front of hotel. Other than that we slept great and they had a very nice variety of breakfast options and was very close to the airport.

Pulling up to the hotel for check in was a bit chaotic. There don’t have designated parking spots to use for check in. There were construction cones blocking the curb in front of the hotel. I had to leave my car in the road while I went and checked in. Besides that issue, this hotel was great. The rooms were big and very clean. Ours even had a little kitchenette. The beds were really comfortable. It was was a short Uber ride to SoFi Stadium. I would definitely stay here again.

Overcharged for the stay, not what was arranged with hotels.com. Did not provide receipt, seemingly on purpose to hide the overcharge which was made onto two credit cards. High crime area too. Avoid staying here.

Neighborhood very busy. Nice motel considering. Parking was secure but not free.

The carbet on the room were extremely dirty, it was smally and tirrable. I feel like I wonat my money back.

Provided early check in

I've been staying here for years. Never had issues before. That said, the night staff was very rude when I complained about the room not having a dining table. They got more rude when I asked why the room had no dresser for clothes. The room has a kitchenette and a full refrigerator. Why is it so unusual to have a place for guests who plans to stay longer than overnight? I was tild they were remodeling and removing all dressers. I felt they were totally unprofessional. The young man with pink hair and red fingernail polish was very rude and confrontational. The next morning I went jogging. When I returned our room keys didn’t work. We went to the front desk and the same young lady from the night before was there. I told her my room keys didn’t work. She reprogrammed them. When I aksed what happened she didn’t say a word and looked in another direction. She did this in front of the day attendant and another customer. I walked away knowing this would be my last time staying there.

The desk clerk was very nice , informative and friendly when we checked in. He explained pool and breakfast hours as well as parking. The room is very adequate if you are only sleeping and not planning to spend a lot of time In room. No furniture to sit on nor a table or chairs. Only bed, dresser, night stands and desk. Dresser drawers were broken, curtains had some type of food stain that looked Like someone had used for a napkin . The beds were very comfortable with nice bedding and shower had good water pressure. Had a kitchenette with a stove top and full refrigerator but no kitchen ware, detergent etc. The parking is next door in a parking garage which is not super convenient but works and felt safe. Breakfast was decent with a variety of options. Overall, a decent stay and decent price.

The room has a strong odour which bothered me the whole night. And the sheet is stained.

Was a little worried because i had read the bad reviews but this place is GREAT!! It was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was AMAZING! Eggs, fresh waffles, fruit, sausage & ALOT more!! The staff was so nice & very helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Very nice and clean. They do not tell you that you pay for parking at the hotel next door. This fee is taken out of your deposit and there is no other place to park. Also Disliked that I reserved 5 rooms that weren’t even next to each other nor on the same level. Had 2 employees arguing over moving my rooms closer together, yet make sure all rooms are on the same floor. The other employee knew the Law and when asked to step in and fix my situation the other employee was very upset about it and was very disrespectful her. Other than that the breakfast was Great, rooms were very clean!!!!

Close to Lax

We experienced a horrible incident 10 minutes after checked in and arrived in our room. There was a toxic fume in the hallway and I saw people running around. I closed the door and stayed in my room until I started to smell something awful. My family decided to leave the room and as the door was opened we immediately started to cough violently. Our eyes were watery and we felt choked with a burning sensation in the throat. We can’t breath. We managed to get in the elevator and went to the lobby. There were many people in the lobby having the same problem, including my other 8 people in family. We waited for a while and were told pepper sprayed was released on the floor where we stayed. We were moved to another floor for that night after a hour later. The dry cough and irritated throat lingered for several hours. For that horrible incident, the hotel credited us $10 for the parking fee. Money is not a big deal but I thought the compensation should be more than just $10 for 8 people in my family.

Good stay. Rooms are in good condition and with required amenities.

Staff was welcoming and friendly. Continental breakfast was very convenient, including waffles (highly recconeded), eggs, sausages, fresh apple, orange, bananas, milk, juice, cereals, yogurts. Coffee is offered 24-hr. Gated parking. Wifi is free. Ridge and air conditioner are a bit noisy. Overall clean.

The only objection I had is the parking was $10 per day. I feel parking should be free.

Great option in Inglewood area. Close to SoFi and Kia forum. Parking garage available which is great. Beds are comfortable.

Couldn’t check in they refused to let me check in . I left and Hotel.com could not refund my credit card for the two nights I paid for

This is located in such a strange place , it seems to be housing section 8 families , it’s really out of date desperate need of renovations. The air conditioner barely worked and the parking structure is not near the hotel it’s on the street corner of this shady area. If you are ok with that then you can take advantage of the lower rates here .

First time staying at this property, and I have zero complaints. Checking in was quick and easy and checking out was even quicker. My room was clean with no issues and even though I didn't use it I appreciated the kitchenette with the full size fridge. The complimentary breakfast was great as well. Overall great stay and if I'm ever in the area I'd stay again.

Stayed here for good proximity to SoFi stadium. The room was clean and the staff was friendly, but the condition of the facility was not good. Several parts of the bathroom were in disrepair and couldn't get hot water at the sink.
