Best Western Plus Glendale

The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The room included a mini refrigerator and microwave, plus desk and chair and reading chair. The breakfast had lots of options, including gluten free cereal and fresh fruit. The hotel filled up over the weekend and with more people, the wifi seemed to slow down, a minor inconvenience. There is a grocery store and other stores nearby. We have stayed here before and will be back.

The jacuzzi was not hot at all. Property needs some cleaning/maintenance.

Breakfast has good food selection. AC does not really cool off the room despite low temperature adjustments. Over all cleanliness was fine until I saw a BIG ROACH crawling near the toilet.

We enjoyed our stay the breakfast was great full and they have the coolest coffee machine in the breakfast room we went for a swim and all in all its what you ask for and pay for a decent room with great breakfast

Room furnishings is somewhat outdated and the drapery is old looking as well. A new fresh up to date remodeling would be more attractive and conducive to prospective tenants.

1) I did not like the box’s piled up in front of our door and the noise of people moving furniture in and out of the rooms next to us the first two days This noise was mostly during the day people moving box’s to and from the rooms next to us. The last day of our stay this noise woke us up at 3:15am 2) The strong smell of pot in the afternoon.

The whole property & parking lot looks like break in! It was scary we didn’t choose to stay our time. The front desk Asian man as mean & hateful even to Expedia people trying to help our dangerous surroundings! Don’t stay with family

Very clean room every time I go into LA I always book a room here. Staff is very nice. The room is super clean close to the freeways highly recommend. The breakfast is really good as well. My granddaughter is picky and she really liked it. Easy parking as well.

I booked the room at the Jacuzzi tub. The pictures did far more justice to the room than the room itself. It was very old. If they updated it, it would’ve been a much better experience.

The staff were friendly when I spoke to them, but we werent told about any of the offerings (like a band to let us into a local gym), the pool was dirty at the bottom and the spa was a hot tub with no heat then the jets broke. Our room was decent, but the tech is outdated/very well used so it didn't work great - the AC only kept about half of the room cool. The bathroom had a bunch of hair left from I assume the previous guests in the shower, but the bedding and towels were clean Sounds from the highway definitely come in, especially if you have any windows open - you are RIGHT off the highway. But I knew that going in, so that wasn't a surprise. I will say it was nice to get to choose which floor we were on and checking out was super easy~ Breakfast is standard fare, my partner was pretty pleased with the amount of protein offered. Plus there's a water cooler by the coffee so you can keep your water bottles full~

We missed breakfast unfortunately but overall the room was excellent organized and super clean. Young lady in check in/out was very nice and attentive. Excellent customer service skills. Easy self parking. $12 per vehicles very reasonable price. Deposit reimbursed within seconds after turning in the key. Definitely recommend and will book my stay with then next time. (Room 104 guest)

Need to clean the air conditioning unit. Smelled like someone had urinated in the vents, so imagine the smell of the air coming out. I had to turn it off because of the stench. The walls are thin so heaven help you if you are next to a circus monkey that stays on the phone all night! I complained to the night person but the chimp neighbor continued his monkey shines! I’ve stayed here several times so it’s not usually bad….

Stayed here because it was 5 minutes from my daughter’s new place. We had a room with a jetted tub was very nice for end of the day relaxation. All amenities were nice but the best of which was the all day coffee. We really appreciated being able to have it hot at any time of day. Thank you for the hospitality will come again

For me, the value of a hotel stay has never been about price or luxury, but about the feeling a place gives you. Hotel Glendale has a warmth and comfort that’s hard to describe but easy to feel. While I’ve briefly explored a few other hotel properties during this time after experiencing a house fire and searching for my next home, it’s made me realize how special this place really is. Even being at a beachfront property on a high floor right now, I still find myself thinking about the cleanliness, care, and heart that exists at Hotel Glendale. The thoughtful details around the hotel,the vending machines on each floor, the fresh H₂O station, and the latte machines, are small touches that make the experience even more comforting. It was a lengthy check-in process. There were system issues, and tech support was called. Also, there was a lack of transparency regarding a $12 parking fee. In principle, I cancelled the rest of my stay.

Room was clean, breakfast was excellent, staff were nice and friendly The furniture is old with scratches and the sofa chair has some faint stains. The bathroom thing where the towels hang just broke off from the hinge. I especially do not like the $12 parking fee.

The staff!!!!! From check in to check out. They were super friendly and accommodating, no matter the hour or the random request I had. The manager made his presence known and the closed gate parking gave such a sense of security. The female night staff we’re informative about on site amenities. I will definitely come back. The breakfast was yummy and different daily. The chairs for guest were uncomfortable

The room was clean and staff was courteous. Breakfast was ok, but I wasn't blown away. Hotel was conveniently located, right off the freeway but not recently updated. It definitely shows signs of being well used. Price was right and cleanliness served our purpose for a one night stay.

We could hear the television through the wall very clearly, and the TV was on for every minute of our stay, including overnight. Staff refused to do anything to rectify the situation. Also, there was quite a bit of traffic noise coming into our room from the busy street outside. The bed and bathroom were nice; but the furniture looked worn and shabby. The place definitely needs a renovation.

Hotel is close to a freeway, so you can hear the cars at all times. Breakfast was ok for the price. Bed was not comfortable as others Best Western hotels. The hotel is clean and the lady at registration was very polite.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable and the towels were well-stocked. This hotel is right on a busy street, so thwre was a lot of traffic noise throughout the night. Also, the parking aoaces are the smallest spaces I have ever seen, ans every single car was parked on/over the line, it was pretty nerve-wracking to park.

Parking was extra which I didn’t know until I checked in. There is a small pool I didn’t use. There is a small patio area out front we did use which was nice. Vending machine on site but there is a Ralph’s a block away. Breakfast was included but was quite basic. There are plenty of great places to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner etc East on Colorado. I recommend Cindy’s and Oinkster . I would have liked a safe in my room. I will 100% stay here again.

The pillows were small like throw pillows, for such a King sized bed. I didn't like the lighting being on the ceiling right above the bed. Lamps on the wall on both sides of the bed would have been nice

Location. Probably the best mid priced option in the area Basic maintenance. I stayed in 2 different rooms during my week in Glendale and both bathrooms had broken towel bars. One came flying off the wall and hit my toe. Luckily I didn't get cut.

Hotel was double booked and my cancellation with Hotels.com did not process. I received a charge for $155.30 as a no-snow which I cannot resolve. I am waiting for the hotel manager to return my call. Im told by Hotels.com that the Best Western manager must approve and authorize the refund charged by Hotels.com as a no-show. I am awaiting a resolution to this matter.

The room served it's purpose. Definitely an older hotel. The shower in our room was partially broken. The water wasn't fully blocked at the faucet to go up to the shower, and the pressure definitely sucked. The breakfast wasn't anything special. At least it was included.

Very sub par location at best. Very basic and they offer water from a spigot for hot or cold at all times, however they will charge children $2 for bottled water when they come into the lobby. Very frustrating! Also charges $12 per day for parking in a tiny lot with compact spots. Parking in Glendale isn’t that difficult or expensive at ANY HOTEL

Free breakfast buffet was great day clerk for check out was great. Male Manager came through ignored me and told clerk to get to meeting. Upper management needs hospitality training -rude. Too bad, but overall good.fyi.

Booked hotel because it was 4 star rating. Sorry, I would only give a 2. Discovered the property old and not upgraded much. Right next to freeway, so very noisy. There are a number of fast food places right down Colorado Blvd. and a Ralphs grocery store too. That was convenient. And this hotel is right off the Glendale Freeway, an easy drive to the LA Convention Center. The rooms are not so bad, but the parking lot spaces are really narrow. The area is really noisy, closer to roads and there is no acoustic isolation for the rooms. In addition the air conditioning is noisy and close of the bed, also creating more noise. But the really good point is the staff. Outstanding!!!!

It is a very noisy location. The building is quite old with little insulation to keep out outside noise and noise from adjoining rooms. No carpets or lamps in the rooms. Just overhead lighting. Not a good value.

Basic hotel room. Clean. Good room cleaning each day. No bedside lamps. Small room. Bed a little firmer than i like but I realize that's personal preference. Pretty noisy with traffic and other guests. Not exactly what i was expecting based on the pics online. Overall a serviceable basic hotel room.

Decent place to stay. Hard floors so if you’re under anyone it could get loud. The pool is a joke but the room seemed clean.

I just felt uncomfortable when in my room & i can hear people in the next room talking clearly, i noticed there was door between my room & there's, its locked but no buffer around that door, from the noises coming from their room. I know if I can hear them , they can hear me. Kinda weird.

The motel was completely booked but had signs up to help guests find the best route to the concert that most of us were going to. The breakfast in the morning was a nice added bonus!

We flew in at 9:30 a.m. but check in is not until 3 pm. I called several times, asking if I could pay for an early check in but they said no. It was just me and my 10 yr old, so I was worried about not having a place to relax. I decided to show up to the property at 12:45 anyways and try to check in. They let me in early and we were beyond thankful since we had been up since 2am. They were so accommodating and nice. The next day we missed breakfast and they insisted my son take some apples and muffins before we left. We felt so welcome and safe and taken care of when we were so far away from home. We are definitely going to stay here again.

The amenities like hot tub and kid size swimming pool sucked

We woke up at 3 AM. Yelling and screaming went on for almost an hour myself and my family decided to check out early and leave the property.

The description and photos of the website do not match the reality. The pictures show a great Best Western but the reality is the hotel was not even closed . I had stay in many Best Western Plus hotels but this hotel was closer to a motel 6 quality. The hotel was dirty. The elevator was filthy. The room quality and cleanness was so poor. The noise level was a little too much. The room door had a good 1.5 inch gap at the bottom of the door. There was no Gym. In my opinion, this hotel should not be a bes. wester plus. The only thing that is superb is the customer service and friendless of the reception staff. The hotel is too expensive for its value.

This hotel has a parking fee, no laundry service area, pool not maintained daily. Overall, staff are friendly, helpfull and responsive. Good choices for breakfast, kind of crowded in their breakfast area.

no pad or pen in room, phone inoperable, but room and bath area clean and comfortable, location convenient, staff friendly, breakfast options good. Would recommend to travelers.

Great location considering the plans we had. Met what I’d call “Best Western Standards.” Relatively quiet area with shopping and food close buy. Parking may be an issue for larger vehicles, but parking in the area seemed to follow suit. Good visit overall.

I requested a room above the first floor and was well accommodated. Staff are polite and friendly. The area is full of shopping and dining options. Walkable.

It was a great experience . The staff was nice ! Just that the parking spots are a little small . But you will find parking. The cleaning lady’s cleaned the room everyday we were there and super helpful with getting any towels or new sheets. Overall great experience.

There was nothing unique about this Best Western Plus, no gym. And the parking fee scam when we checked in. We found a roach in our wall and the television/cable was not working and the refrigerator was not cold enough to cool our liquids or the freezer ice packs.

Im not impressed with the room at ckeck in i couldn't understand the worker. Was informed i will have to pay for parking even know the website says free parking. The food was not that great 3 out of 10. Room was small and smelled strange thank goodness i had body spray to help that out. They skiped cleaning on day 2 and gave us no new towles cleaning lady was nice and night staff seemed nice when we went in to get hot water they helped us. I would not stay here again over priced oh and never had hot water for the showers so we had to take cold showers not fun
