The room was clean but the bathroom needed attention, not sure if the towels were clean, some did not smell clean. There was black hair all around the floor and the shower curtain had black mold all over it. Very disappointed, this is what I expect from a room for about $80/night, this room was $163/night, not worth it.

The room was very quiet, ac works great, hot running water, clean towels and sheets. Parking is very private. Upon entering the room, there was a used condom wrapper on the table. Used my personal Lysol wipes to sanitize surfaces. Parking spaces are very narrow, great for small and medium sized cars. Upon exiting the parking lot onto Long Beach Blvd, you must exit very slow. To the left, there are shrubs blocking the line of sight unable to see a pedestrian running on the sidewalk. And to the right, there is an exit sign that blocks your line of sight down the sidewalk.

Came to the sketchy motel paid almost $200. Then had to pay $20 room key fee in cash when I got to my room. It smelled really bad like cigarettes and fish anyways, long story short. I want to use the hot tub. The water wasn't draining, I told the manager he came to fix the hot tub. Just to find out somebody left there, pad in the drain. Not all of the jets work in the bathtub. It's very deep, very dangerous and it's not a hot tub. Or spa, it's a bathtub, 2 people hardly can fit. The location is very scary. There's too much noise in sketchy people walking around. I highly recommend going somewhere else, even Motel 6. You gotta stay away from this place! Everything!

Motel is listed as non-smoking yet my room smelled of Marijuana. Bed cover had burn marks in it, towels in bathroom were stained and rough. Shower curtain had mold stains on it. Motel has no outside 'Smoking Area' available. Parking lot is very small. About a dozen 'Street People' bothered me at various times while smoking a cigarette in the parking lot. Was woken up at 8am by loud air blower outside my door. Overall not an enjoyable stay.

The suggested entry here was "what did you think of the breakfast. There was no complimentary breakfast. The location was probably the best thing about this place. Where to begin...The room was nearly $100/night. I could have gotten a better deal at M6 and been guaranteed better accommodations. The room itself reeked like a stale ashtray that didn't dissipate until my last night there. Cleanliness was negligible. There was dirt on the floor, and what looked like splattered paint on the walls in the bathroom. Some of the mirrors were cracked/taped. The day after my arrival, I know the room was visited because soaps were replenished in the bathroom but they couldn't be bothered to make the bed. Weird. There was also a lot of noise in the (very small) parking lot late at night. And speaking of parking, there are not enough stalls to accommodate all guests. I was told to park adjacent to the rooms along the building at one point. In fairness, I'm sure this is a tiny, family owned business and probably operates on a shoestring, but the issues I found can and should be fixed/maintained promptly and properly. Staff I encountered were nice and helpful, but if you want to be in the motel business, you need to provide clean, decent rooms, especially at this price.

BED BUGS !!! I booked 3 nights. The first night I arrived after 12:30 am. I quickly checked in, slept for a few hours, then left early for work. Same plan for day 2...except after I got out of the shower and went to get into bed, I saw bed bugs. I immediately notified the manager. He informed me there were no other vacancies so moving rings was not an option . He then offered to spray the mattress and advised I could continue to sleep in the spray and bugs. I declined and requested a refund. I given a partial refund because I should have reported bugs on the first day. When the manager came in to see the evidence of bugs he removed the mattress cover. Please see photos of what the bed looked like enjoying without being covered as well as evidence of the bugs.

Over all, It did the job. Not the most lavish room. however I was expecting way worse. The noise over all was the issue. Some weird high pitched ringing noise would go off every 30mins along with the sound of traffic and the guy next door on the phone. then there was someone practicing music super early on a Sunday. It could be worse.

I reserved this hotel because I was going to be in Long Beach for a music festival. I got there at noon and was told our room wasn't ready, but I expected that and they let me park my car there so that was nice enough. But then I came back after the festival (it was late at this point), we were all ready to crash in bed, and the person who was working the desk now told me that there were no reservations and turned away while I pulled up the email confirmation on my phone. I showed him the date and the reservation... He looked at it and said they had no vacancy. You gave our room away?? We asked. You can't check in after 1am he said, even though it was 12:55, we'd told them we were coming at noon, our car was sitting outside, and he was still working the desk at that hour anyways. We ended up driving two hours home but I don't know what we would have done otherwise. It was a pretty scummy looking place so honestly I'm relieved I got to sleep in my own bed but I definitely will not be staying there in the future.

Friendly staff at check in. The room was below average for the price. King size bed mattress is comparable to a bag of laundry. Towels old and stained. It seemed like at one point it may have been a really nice room, but now, everything is old and sad. One pair of outlets was so loose I couldn't charge using that one. A couple other little things: the seats of the chairs looked disgusting, as did the bottom of the shower curtain. There was a ceramic soap holder in the shower, it was broken, so that could be potentially dangerous (pictures included). Finally, when I returned after being out all day, my room hadn't been serviced. Now, I don't really need my bed made every day (I often put the do not disturb signs up most of my stay to save cleaning crew time), but if you say "daily housekeeping," I expect daily housekeeping. I wouldn't bother complaining for all the little things. But I booked a non-smoking room. It's really all I need. And someone made a mistake or didn't care, so my stay wasn't good.

If you moved around a lot you eventually got wet in the shower, the pressure was almost nothing. It took forever to get hot water and when it came, it came hot, and then it went cold. You could not enjoy the shower. The mirror looked like it was cleaned with smudge. I asked for an iron and my bad for not looking at, because half way through the ironing of my shirt, the rust from the iron surface transferred to my shirt and I had to stop and wash it!! All the edges of the room looked dirty, and I could go on.

Our room was located behind the Motel. There were two doors to our room. Our "front door" was a screen door with Styrofoam zip-tied to it to make it look like a door. Than you walk into a very small patio that had our refrigerator and our microwave (both located outside your room). Then you walk through the second door into a room with two beds. The room smelled and there was a HUGE POOP STAIN ON THE WALL behind the table (IT DID NOT LOOK LIKE IT HAD BEEN CLEANED AT ALL). When we asked were the Jacuzzi was located the man at the front desk said it was located in HIS ROOM and was a bath tub with jets in it, and only one person could go at a time!!!! I would never recommend this motel to anyone I care about!!!! PAY THE EXTRA MONEY FOR A BETTER MOTEL, IT WILL BE WORTH IT!!!!!!

I needed a place to sleep after the Freestlye Concert at the Queen Mary. In looking at the room pictures online- they appeared to look like the old Vegas/Laughlin hotel rooms. I'm not familiar with the area so I couldn't tell you if it was in a bad neighborhood or not. this place only has 7 rooms and the tall cypress trees 'protected'the parking area from the street view. The motel appeared to be an apartment complex that was converted. our room was clean, the ac didn't work all that great, TV was the old Tube style. The bathroom was all tile but the set up was a big safety hazard. our room had the jacuzzi tub that we didn't use, but when we took our shower there was no shower curtain and the water spilled out onto the tile steps and floor. Even though there was a Safety Bar to hold on to it was still a little scary stepping onto a wet tile floor.

The man at the window(maybe the owner) was rude and condescending to me at times. wanted to argue to get his point across. I felt that since I am a woman, that he did not have respect for me.

Pretty decent hotel for what I spent. Room was solid and there was a couple of places that served some great food. Neighborhood was good as well.

One of those kind of places where you check for dead bodies under the bed. You know you're in trouble when the bathroom is the nicest part of the experience.

The decor was dated (you get what you pay for and one of the sheets had a permanent marker stain. My biggest concern was the cleanliness, which the room was surprisingly clean. The tub included jacuzzi jets, which we used.

Water was dripping in the bathroom, pillows were hard as rocks. Old furniture. Don't expect too much, you get what you pay for

There is a small refrigerator and microwave, which is more than you can expect for this type of Motel. And the bathroom looks like it's been modernized somewhat and actually looks quite nice. the dresser that they have in the room looked like it was purchased at a garage sale, a few of the drawers would not pull out without some work, and there were no extra blankets to allow you to keep warm if you had the cooler turned on.I would give this a 2.8 rating out of 5, because quite frankly, it needed some improvements but overall it wasn't that bad. The linens on the bed smelled fresh, that would have been a major turnoff for me if they hadn't.

It was advertised as having elegant rooms....just because it had a king sized bed with holes all over the cover, a little frig that would only closed when I leaned my suitcase against it, smoke scented aroma that makes you feel like you're in some dirty old bar, and the best part, a welcoming committee when we arrived back from Catalina Island...ants, not only in the bathroom tub and sink, but in the bed too. But thank goodness, they were black ones. I do have to say, I did enjoyed the decent shower... This place has potential if they would only fix it up. Simple things can make a difference. Like fixing the bathroom window, get new bed covers, and clean the carpet once in a while.

it was a nice mom and pop hotel. But there is 12 rooms with six parking spots. Rooms were a little outdated but decent. The internet connection is really slow. And no room service for our 2 day stay. In my opinion it's great for construction guys working.

This hotel was a true "roach" motel. I checked out in one night after paying for 2. I went and got another hotel. Total waste of money.

You will need earplugs to sleep. Not all the rooms are the same; mine had a Jacuzzi style bath and it was nice. I was near the street in #2, and #5 was about half the size with no room to walk around the bed, but probably quieter.

Sheets on be we're worn out with holes, cover was stained but washed. The walls are so thin the TV in the next unit stayed on until 2AM, and kept waking us up. The manager did help with luggage (I'm 85+) He did bring extra towels when requested. The parking lot is so narrow, getting out is very difficult. I kept telling my wife "cheap is cheap"!

The hotel maid service was not daily, not clean, and the rooms appliances were not maintained. TV volume max was very low, mini fridge door would not stay closed.... The room was ok, but not worth staying for extended times.

Jacuzzi in the bathroom was nice. King sized, very comfortable bed and nice pillows. Location, location, location. Checked out early due to a violent argument between a male and female in the next room- did not feel safe AT ALL even being in company of my six-foot husband. Not going ever again.

I did not like the weird smell of the room and the vibe, so I decided not to even check in after looking at the room. Be aware of all Hotel/Motels that are cash only and no refunds. If you are not satisfied their is nothing you can do after you give them the cash, but rate it like I am doing now. I must feel comfortable, clean and safe or I will not stay.

Rooms are clean except the carpets are AWFUL!!!!!! My NEW WHITE SOX were BLACK in moments !!!!!!! However I must say that having a really comfortable king size bed and a huge room with a jacuzzi tub and really cold for only likr $60 kinda made it better . The property is well maintained and nice as well But they will be beating on your door promptly at 13:30 tellin you its check.out time

I loved this Motel. It was a small Motel, but just perfect for what I needed. The bed was to die for. The Mattress was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept in at a Motel. It's location is wonderful, and across the street, is everything, food, gas, Park, and just a good location. The Manager was a very nice man, and I would definitely consider renting a room from the Walls Motel again. Although it wasn't your typical 4 or 5 star, but it sure felt like it. My only concern was that when I booked the room, it smelled like smoke, and I specifically told Hotel.com, that I did not want a smoking room.

Sketchy neighborhood, poor appearance. Once I got to it I decided it would have been better just keep on driving, lose the money, and find a better place.

Room no. 6 refrigerator was newer, unplugged & *very* moldy inside... yuck. Carpet was not vacuumed. Wobbly headboard in Room No . 5 woke me up at 4;15 a.m. Pillows were way too dense...was like sleeping with my head on a phone book. My advice... skip it...you're worth it.
