First room was absolutely horrendous there were barely enough curtains to cover the windows that were held in by push pins and no blanket on the bed when we requested one they gave us an old and burnt cover, then the person at the front desk wouldn’t switch me rooms but finally did after I insisted! Second room was better but very badly built and so is the plumbing! Lots of homeless in the area and the parking is horrible a the rooms are extremely small!

Location was bad, located near truck driver station. Only 5 parking spots and only one way in to motel with NO space what so ever you could only back out when leaving. Stayed for two nights and the motel staff would not even come in a change out towels. Wood floors which were completely dirty. Just over all bad bad bad......

Well let me say the man who checked us in,was really nice. Once my boyfriend and I went into the room it looked clean but we like to inspect before we get comfortable. The sheets were stained but to the point where they needed new sheets. There was this one gold cylinder pillow and that was stained it was gross. Then the TV's remote was not even the remote to the TV and to increase the volume my boyfriend had to get up and press the button on the side of the TV. We saw this bag of samples in the bathroom and I don't know why in the world I didn't look at the expiration date, before I popped ate the bag of cranberries. Those samples expired in 2011. You would think they wouldn't even dare to give out expired samples but then again the hotel didn't have clean sheets. I like to look out the window in the morning to look at the sun rise. You know what I saw, I saw a brick wall with bob wire on top. The bathroom was so tiny my boyfriend had to stand sideways to reach the sink (the sink was in a tiny corner).

Staff was very attentive. I love that he owner lives on the property and if you ever need anything (for example our room door was not locking before we went out) you can just ring his doorbell and he will be more than happy to help. The room did smell a bit like cigarette smoke but I just went across the street to the gas station and bought some fabreez. Good for the low price that you are paying.

It was definitely an interesting experience, to say the least. The concierge were nice and helpful, but the first room we were checked into I had to get a room for unsanitary reasons. The next room I was relocated to was fair, but far better than the last! The rooms walls are hollow, rooms are small and right next to a truck stop, but hey essentially you get what you pay for.. It's not the worst place in the world to stay, but definitely not what I'm use too..

The staff are nice and the hotel itself looks really nice inside but the location worried me. It's surrounded by factories and warehouses and not other motels or hotels. It's close to downtown LB and to the beach and if it's used just for sleep then it's perfect, but dont expect anything fancy.

TERRIBLE made me sleep with big bugs (have pics) and not having toilet paper to use after loading your draws(underware). Called and complained and will only refund 50% after I slept most of the time outside the room. I even had a sign reciept that they would not charge me.

This hotel was pretty bad and I was surprised that it would even be offered on hotels.com. For starters, the room was tiny- it hardly help more then the double size bed we got, which we were told was a king. After showering in the morning about an half an hour later when put socks on my feet were filthy on the bottom., so that shows how dirty their floors were.,the parking was also really tight and we had a rude awakening by manager knocking on our door to move our compact size rental car because someone could not get out (understandable because we were packed like sardines.) the hotel was also in a real grungy neighbor hood and was surrounded by an industrial type area. If it was earlier we would have called back to request something else, but since it was so late and we were exhausted we stayed. The walls were pretty dirty as well...I wanted to take pictures but ran out of time.

truckstop directly acroos street from hotel, limited parking in very tight quarters at hotel. Room was small but very efficient and clean! Housekeeping didnt come in room to clean only 3 of six days i stayed! easy access to downtown long beach, room rates were very reasonable! Good variety of local restaurants nearby! No drawers to put clothes in. Recommend only single or two persons traveling together stay at this motel, not a friendly or family oriented place for kids:) no continental breakfast!

Nice people who run the hotel however the location dicey ghetto blues :( Room itself clean but cigarette burns in linen, cable tv didnt work at all :( free wifi good to have you will need it! Trucks all night worse sleep ever decor they have atleast tried, however similar star hotels near by for less cost are 1000 times better. So unless desperate I would even use this place as a shag room if u get lucky :)

I was not familiar with this side of Long Beach. I was trying to get a place as close as possible to the Queen Mary. The hotel is about two exits away. The room is small but clean. The room is newly renovated, but the smell of diesel gas due to the commercial truck business next door. The bathroom is clean, but small. The bathroom door hits the toilet bowl when open prevent the door to open all the way. We asked for an iron but received an ironing board with the promised of the iron will be delivered later. The iron never came to our room. Everything about our room were small and there were not much room to moved around. I do not recommend it.

The hotel was nothing like that pictured. Dirty, in a questionable neighborhood, lacking in cleanliness, and incredible inconvenient and inadequate parking! I didn't feel safe staying there. My room reeked of marijuana upon entering, the door didn't lock properly, there was no closet, burns all over the duvet cover, flat pillows, dirty towels, and when I asked for a one hour extension the day of check out, the owner wanted to charge me a full day's fee--most chains will graciously grant you one hour. I had wanted to support a small business, but next time, I'm going to just stay at a large chain.

Being Handicap I was attentive to the lack of attention the manaagement placed to other guests parking in their one-n-only Handicap space. Three nights in a row I had to tell them and I had to park in the street twice. They are VERY lucky I didn't call the Police. If strapped for cash it may be a place to stay...

But....the room had just been remodeled. New paint, mouldings, carpet, comforter, sheets, and a nice spacious bathroom. No closet which was lame but we lived. There is also a flat screen tv and they leave you a box of freebies (sample products) on top of the microwave. All in all...I am going back definitely. It saves some bucks and really is a decent place to stay. I would recommend parking int he parking lot. The owner said he would move his car onto the street to open up an extra space. PS...beware of porn channel. I don't know why they have to have it as part of the basic cable package. Only desparate people watch porn. Marry a cool girl and you will be happy ;)
