This hotel is very close to the airport. It’s also close to shopping centers and getting food. It is really the perfect hotel to stay in when you’re traveling because everything’s around you.

Staff is hit or miss. I have had the kindest and most helpful, but I have also had the most ridiculously rude staff. Aside from that though, the pool is decent, they have outdoor seating for eating and they have the BEST food just across the street. They are a favorite for people cruising out of Long Beach. We will stay there again. I just wish they would get rid of the nasty staff : (

Close to airport Staff was not great. On check in, the front desk clerk offered free water to the person before me but did not offer it to me even though I’m an Honors member. When we asked for a shuttle ride to the airport upon check-out, they made us wait 15 min before leaving even though there were two people manning the front desk. We thought maybe they were waiting for another group to ride with us, but when it was time to leave, it was just our family.

The hotel is immaculate, the staff is exceptionally courteous and well-equipped with amenities. The breakfast is delectable. The facility is modern and conveniently located near the port, with easy access to local shopping. I highly recommend this hotel and intend to return in the future.

Staff accommodated my early check in, and the grounds were immaculate. Pool looked good, and was nice and warm and not freezing. Got tub could’ve been a lot warmer- but didn’t effect our stay. I recommend this hotel. Very close to the LB Airport. Lots of fun places to eat nearby too! I recommend the 908. ;)

We were one of the families evacuated due to the Garden Grove chemical incident . We had stayed the night before in a Marriott Courtyard hotel by John Wayne Airport. Unfortunately, we only booked one night so we had to leave. The Marriott was great on all fronts and gave us free parking as a kind gesture for this unplanned and traumatic event, which we were very grateful for. When we checked in the next day at the Hampton Inn we were charged for all our cars. I asked if we could have the vehicles comped but was told no because they are by the airport. There was no compassion, just the facts. There was no shopping around for other hotels because there were 50,000 people displaced and the hotels had the upper hand. I questioned the price that I was charged because it differed with the reservation. I even asked for my receipt which I got on day one but never got it when I checked out, even though I requested it. They said it would be sent by email which I have not received. Overall the hotel is nice but they have a ways to go to before I will stay at a Hilton hotel. The cost was over $300 a night per room and due to my family size, I had two rooms and a dog. I don’t begrudge them charging for the dog, that’s standard, but it cost $1,500 for two nights. Never had housekeeping because they only service rooms every three days. This was a learning experience for me. Drive further away to get a better deal and sadly, look at all the hidden costs before you book.

The pool area was set up very nice and well maintained and the pool water was nice and warm. However, I was very disappointed that the hot tub/spa was broken and had been broken for a while. It was one of the reasons that this hotel was selected. The rooms were nice, however, there was a fridge, but no microwave. The mattress was so very hard and uncomfortable. One of the beds had screwed up bed springs and any movement gave off a loud clanging noise. There was a $75 pet charge a day and a $20 a night parking fee, which was a bit much. They did have two small potty areas for the dogs.

The front desk was amazing, the check IN was quick and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

This was the first time staying at the Hampton Inn! It was spacious, clean, well kept, and now it is my favorite place to stay while in Long Beach. I used to stay at the Holiday Inn, but it’s dated and parking was difficult. I will stay at the Hampton Inn from now on.

Coffee and cucumber water are available at all times in the lobby, and the rooms are accommodating and quiet. I will stay at this hotel every time I have an opportunity!

Everything was great. The staff was attentive and accommodating. The fitness room could use some newer equipment and the hot tub wasn’t very hot, otherwise the stay was fine. They also charge for parking. We stay there frequently and will continue to stay there.

Sent your location to the Long Beach airport, attentive staff with their breakfast buffet, clean pool and Jacuzzi with generous hours of operation, electric car, charging on site and easy parking. Would recommend for solo female travelers..

Property was nice and clean. My only issue was I was told they would pick us up from the airport and to call when we arrived. I tried for 20 minutes to contact them and no one would pick up the phone. Finally just called an Uber.

I didn't use the Hotel Shuttle, My Sister Got a Rental Car, Which was next to the Airport, The Hampton Inn was 2min from the Rental car place, The whole area was Nice, Across The Street from The Hampton Inn, Was alot of Shops(Clothes and Food-Starbucks). My 3 day stay was Wonderful in Long Beach, No Complaints, Thank You.

Took us until after 6:30pm to get us a room that wasn't the type we paid for (King accessible). After a very long travel day (early departure, east coast to west coast), this issue was not appreciated. We got apologies from staff, but frustrating none the less.

The room above mine sound like there was an elephant walking on the floor. TV in my room didn’t work properly. Took one day to fix it. $20 a day for parking was over 10% of total room cost. I will not stay at another Hampton Inn Not worth the cost.

My family is visiting the area for medical reasons. We were so concerned because we had never been to the area, much less California! We were pleasantly surprised to find that the area was very nice, with several restaurants and a Whole Foods across the street. The hotel is very clean and in great condition. Upon arrival, there was a $75 deposit, and we received a parking tag to hang in the car. The staff was very friendly and efficient, which was a relief after such a long trip. The room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was great (sausage, hash browns, eggs, waffle maker, etc.). Because we will be returning to this area quite often, we hope to be able to stay at this location!

Staff was amazing! Got there super early, just got off a cruise. Was expecting to wait around for awhile because checkin was at 4pm. We ended up swapping to 2 queens instead of a king because it wasn’t ready yet. They waived the early checkin fee due to us being Hilton Honors

The room wasn’t clean when we arrived, found someone’s wig that was left behind. The bed was uncomfortable, back was hurting after one night of sleeping on it. The hotel offered another comforter to put on the bed but we had to put it on the bed ourselves.

Had already booked next stay for 11/11. Called on 11/10 and was informed they were waiting for a replacement shuttle. On our own to get from car rental to hotel. Taxi driver asked if we were offered “vouchers”. Apparently, shuttle for Hampton had been out-of-service for at least two weeks! Some guests were provided vouchers to defray cost of taxi fare!!! Obviously, we were not. Are we ever staying there again? Nope.

The room was clean but there were hairs in the shower. The staff was accommodating. The complimentary breakfast is convenient and was good... the menu changed daily.The bed was very comfortable. The door to the room was extremely heavy, difficult to open and quickly slammed close but didn't fully close. An item in my room was missing. Someone took food left on the desk in my aunt's room next door.. The hotel is ideally located 5 minutes away from the airport and across the street from restaurants, Whole Foods and down the street from.a mall. One disappointment was that there was no shuttle available; I received a text telling me to call when I arrived and I would be told the pick up area. When I called, the woman on the phone said we don't have a shuttle. I told her that the website and other references say they do provide it. Then she clarified saying it was in the repair shop. I asked what could I do to get there since I had never been in Long Beach and she quipped " get an Uber" and hung up. The airport attendant overheard and suggested I catch a taxi, which I did. The taxi driver suggested that we ask for a voucher sense there was no notification and the manager said she would make the exception.

Room was great, staff excellent, breakfast good. Pillows were horrible and even though they advertised hotel shuttle to airport it was non existent. They said they were hoping it would get resolved in a week or two, but that didn’t help us.

The property was exceptionally clean. The room was a bit small, but it was very clean and the shower was nice. The hot tub was a really nice size and worked great. There was some traffic noise from the street that runs along the property, but it wasn't terrible. The breakfast had a good variety of foods, but don't be late, they close the doors promptly at closing time. Would stay here again.

Airport shuttle was not available, had to use a cab provided by the hotel , the cabs were small , didn't get a chance to eat breakfast , my husband says it was fine..

The carpet in the room needed cleaning. The staff was excellent. The breakfast on Sunday was horrible. How does a hotel run out of sausages or bacon.

I had a ground floor room, the blackout curtains did not extend across the window. That meant that people parking could look right in and see me, and as there is a light outside the window it was hard to sleep at night.

We love everything about the hotel other than we had to pay for parking for the very first time. The first few times, it was free, but somehow last week we got charged for parking.

It was a quiet stay. The two different front desk employees I encountered were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast area - food and tables - and coffee and juice station were very clean. We had a view of the pool from our room. It looked nice and clean.

My wife and I chose this Hampton Inn because it's proximity to the Airport and Carnival Cruise Terminal. I was disappointed that we were charge a $50 fee just to check in early. Other than our room was clean and comfortable. We also to part in the breakfast provided.

The receptionist who checked us in was wonderful and made our long drive worth it. She was very kind and understanding, and very funny.

The check in time is not until 4 PM. The issue is, they charge $100 if you want to check in early. As the time gets closer to 4 PM the fee goes down. With this being so close to the airport, it seems obvious they could be more accommodating.

We had a great experience from when we checked in, the amenities, cleanliness, easy parking. The only issue for me is how thin the walls are and to next time ask to not be below a family with children - being woken up at 6:30 am because you can hear the kids jumping above you.

They did get it fixed the morning we left. Had to get clean towels at front desk but I think it was because we had a dog and they didn’t want to come in room when we weren’t there. Good thinking. Everything was great ! Just a suggestion - we felt that there should have been more wash cloths, and the middle pull-down shade in the window was confusing. We never figured it out, and heard from someone else that they found the pull-cord to bring down the window shade.A note explaining it would have been nice. Other than that, everything was very nice, and comfortable, and your staff was very friendly and welcoming!

I tracked down a housekeeper for a room freshener spray but he said they do not use any in the rooms. That was disappointing, so I had to purchase one at a near by store.

The staff was nice and helpful. I didn't like paying an extra 50.00 to check 3 hrs earlier. The room amd area was safe , quiet and nice. The bed wasn't overly comfortable. A bit lumby.

Exceed expectation

It was a very nice hotel other than getting bit by fleas in our room.

Absolutely our family’s favorite go-to stay whenever we’re in the Long Beach area. Appreciate so very much all the thoughtful amenities (24-hour lobby coffee station, so very welcoming.) The breakfast can’t be beat. Every time we’re there, it feels like a family reunion. . .staff and guests so very pleasant and friendly; can tell everyone is pleased with their stay. Special shout-out to the very professional Adrian Baez—outstanding!

I actually forgot my toothpaste, but I was able to text someone at the hotel, and they delivered toothpaste to me. Amazing service.

Parking should not be extra fee if we are already paying for a stay.

It was clean and comfortable. Slept great. I expected to hear planes but I never did. Only issue was the staff had a hard time keeping up with keeping breakfast stocked and tables wiped off. The person checking us in late at night was very friendly.

The hotel seemed to be very new. It was extremely clean and the staff was friendly. Being a Hilton member the late checkout option wasn't really a late checkout. Other than that everything was great.

Very close to Long Beach airport. Nice hotel, very well maintained. There is a really great outdoor area and pool. Awesome breakfast Area has walkabke restraunts and some shopping. There is a shuttle pickup from LB Airport. The driver was unwilling to help load our bags into the van. After a long day of travel that ticked me off. They have NO shuttle to the cruise port. Uber took us.

My family stayed here before our cruise, the Hampton Inn Long Beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, we had very clean rooms and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool.

It’s great very close to LGB airports. The room I booked was not available, they waved the parking fee ( which by the way is ridiculous that hotels are doing this, I understand if it was valet service but….)

Had an overnight stay before an early morning flight. Clean rooms & friendly, efficient shuttle service to airport.

We stayed overnight while attending a weekend event in Long Beach. The property is well kept. Breakfast is your usual hotel fare. Bottomline it is clean, we felt safe, and we were comfortable.

Staff was great one night, awful another. Hit or miss. Beds were super painful both nights. Pool was great one day, closed the other. Hit or miss. Shampoo and conditioner was great both nights. Water and drinks from the “convenience store” were wildly overpriced, second only to Disneyland. Overall, a miss. I would not pay this kind of money for hit or miss service and facilities with old mattresses.

I stayed twice in about two weeks. I would rate first night at 9/10. Staff was super nice, pool was great, place was clean and had great shampoo and conditioner. Only cons were really uncomfortable beds and the homeless using the pool (which I actually love, just wish they were offered a shower first). Second nights stay was awful. Staff was surface polite, but very short and left us feeling like an inconvenience at every interaction. This was polar opposite of our first visit and set the mood of our stay. From there, the pool was closed for our stay (found out at 9pm it was re-opened, but by then it was cold and windy out) and the bed was uncomfortable to the point of keeping us up all night. I have spent a quarter of the money on stays with clean rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Honestly, the rude girls at the front desk completely ruined the stay. We received a text that night asking how are stay was going and offering assistance for anything we need. I told them the stay was a 3 compared to a 10 due to staff and pool. They said “good news! The pool is open!” They never addressed the staffing issue and it felt very invalidating.

When we first walked onto the property, it was very clean and smell very nice and pleasant. They had a variety of things for breakfast that fit all the needs of our family. Overall, I would recommend a stay here at this hotel. The staff were super nice and very helpfu.
