Room was clean when I arrived. Overall bathroom and shower were spacious. Kitchenette was stocked with essentials. Breakfast was as good as a hotel breakfast would be. If I am back in the area, I would definitely stay again.

We had a great time! We were somewhat stuck inside because it rained all weekend during our trip but the hotel was one of the better ones I've been at! Would recommend to any kind traveler

The rooms were clean. Had everything in there you could possibly need in case you forgot to bring it yourself. Staff was very nice. Would definitely come here again. The breakfast selection was amazing and being able to dry your clothes or wash them whenever you need to is definitely a plus.

Unfortunately when we went to shower after swimming we realized there was no hot water in the bathroom making it unusable. We informed staff but were about to checkout so it could not be resolved during our stay.

Room was dirty, sheets on bed had mud on them, hallways had bags, boxes machines we could not get through hotel was under construction and they told me I need to reach out to Expedia to get a refund

Everything was great!

Room was super spotless, staff was very helpful and great attitude. Pool was awesome. Close to all different stores and restaurants. Convenient to lots of needs. I recommend this motel to everyone. Breakfast was perfect. Multiple options. Very family friendly.

Location is perfect, that's about it. Found a dirty sock under our bed and a used Qtip behind the chair so that was disgusting. Breakfast was horrible, well at least the hot food. We ended up forgoing our included breakfast the second day and went to IHOP. Noticed a few other hotels in the same area that I would stay at next time.

Chris who worked the desk in the evening was always friendly & helpful. However the morning of our check-out the cleaning staff was informed the our room was vacant and he was met at the door by my husband, I was in the shower. He apologized and showed my husband that the room was marked vacant on his paperwork. When I mentioned it to the young woman at the desk upon our departure her apology showed a lack of sincerity that the male cleaning staff nearly walked on me. This was very disappointing.

Cleaner room, not dusty, to have Clorox wipes to clean the room, to have all the necessary cookware and stuff for cooking(missing pan, cooking spoon, knife), to have salt and pepper, cooking olive oil. To have dishes sponge and soap(we have to ask front desk staff for this items) and dishwasher soap

this is a comfy and well maintained property over all! There is a smell near the elevator on the third floor that needs to be addressed. The suites are very comfortable with everything you could need for a long term stay.

It's quiet and close to dinning and shopping locations, I enjoyed the breakfast.

Stayed for 5 nights and while it was a nice place I wish the staff was as friendly to match. Only had two friendly staff members. And as for service it was different from what I’m used to. Had to ask the front desk when we were getting our service as we were gone all morning both days we were supposed to get service but we never received service til after 3pm and was never told when to expect service. Better communication would be helpful. Overall a great location.

Clean, everything worked as should.

The interior is in desperate need of an uplift. The toilet paper rod was broken, there was a hole on the inside of the bathroom door. There was sticky substance on the rug in the main area, and the furniture was quite worn. Also stains of some sort in the ice cube trays

I had a place to stay so my son could play in his tournament. I should have picked a more expensive room somewhere else rather than to settle for what was affordable. It cost me in the end. I will be sure to take pictures next time before and after I stay anywhere. Posting this to prevent another person from becoming a victim. If you go to the car after 9pm they lock you out and are away from the front desk as your knocking to get back in. They told me there would be towels in the pool area, there werent and they seemed upset that they needed to bring towels. The room had dirty dishes and no dish soap to wash or put in the dishwasher. I paid a large price for snacks for example 6 dollars for 1 hot pocket that we did not eat anyways because it did not taste right. I trusted them with my bank card and they charged 500 in damages that were not caused from our stay. It said 2 beds and ended up being 1 bed and a fold out bed with no sheets or blankets. I did not complain about any of it until they accused my family of breaking a tv that worked fine and still had spongebob on when we left. We cleaned up after ourselves and everything. They charged me after I got out of town and back home. They stated the tv was so broken that it would not work at all. Its impossible and the dishonest staff knows it. Beware of the staff watching you spend money because they are going to set you up.

The hotel was clean and provided a great breakfast each day. Only problem was that the tv in the room had a green/blue hue. Obviously needs to be replaced.

We didn’t like the ridiculously heavy doors. They could be dangerous. Slammed closed quickly. The housekeeping was terrible. Stayed 5 days, bed never changed or made entire stay. She left towels, but not much more

We did not even stay in the room. We were in 309. As soon as you stepped off the elevator it smelled like wet rug. Our room door looked as if it was kicked in before and just painted over. The room was a 2 bedroom suite. The room had the same faint smell. Looked up the ceiling had caved in. Then patched it and didn’t even sand the patch. Onto the next issue you can see a bubble in the ceiling as well. The curtains have a yellow stain all over the bottom. The bathroom floor still has what looked to be gel on the floor. We decided to go to the concert and drive back in one night. Gross. Not what expected from a Marriot at all.

We enjoyed the space in the room. We also appreciated the quiet. The staff aimed to please and you could tell so by the fact that every you needed was already available to you.

We had a 2 night stay, and the bathroom did not work the entire stay. The staff did nothing to fix the bathroom.

Asked twice for house keeping and new towels twice. Never recieved either.

This is my second time here and I loved it the first time. It felt like home this time.

It was ok. Quiet in the room, comfy bed, clean enough. The hotel definitely had a vibe of accommodation of lots of different people but no management of any hotel rules that make a stay safe and comfortable - young kids unaccompanied in the gym late in the evening.. drunken young adults riding the elevators trying to find friends. The air con the room horrific.. I feel unrested and sick and the sink in the bathroom slow to drain.

Nice enough. Getting a little "dog eared" like they are barely keeping up with repairs. Clean enough, though. DON'T DRINK THE COFFEE, it gave me gastro-intestinal discomfort.

I loved the size of the rooms and the amenities. The grills were amazing and the outside seats were a plus ! the pool is very clean and they have the SOFTEST pool towels I've ever experienced ! The washer and dryers were filled with dog hair. Originally the first room I was in was clean. But I did come a across a few issues in my "suites". The 1st issue I had was the bed rooms AC didn't work and my microwave stopped working. In which led to the next days room change, the room change was to A handicap accessible room in which was not really ideal for my two daughters, due to everything being reachable. There was dog hair everywhere in the room (on the walls, the pull out couch etc...) in which led to my 8 years old's face to break out badly ! due to dog allergy :(... I known there's not enough time for the housekeepers to DEEP clean nor do I accept anyone to be down on their knees to clean, But I expect for things to be clean, Especially for things out in the open.

We have stay ther multiple times and always have found it to be a clean and convenient place to stay.

When we checked in the room was dirty. There was rice on top of the refrigerator and stuff on carpet. Stains on bed sheets. I spoke with the front desk and asked when they had time to please address the issues. We stayed Monday-Sunday. The room was never cleaned. They just replaced the towels every other day and took the trash. This is the only bad review I have ever given in a hotel.

Easy check in , friendly staff , very good breakfast in the morning , good location . Room was pretty clean , nice kitchenette area with full size fridge and dishwasher Few minor issues - missing lamp and not working outlet on one side of bed . Biggest issue was an elevator - only 1 was working when we checked in and none was working in the morning. Got fixed after few hours but we had to walk down and up 3 flights of stairs in the morning- normally not and issue but one person had knee surgery recently

LOVE the huge closet in the bathroom! Room was large and in its own corridor with anothsr room behind a closed door, which kept it super quiet! Room 401. Perfect!

Ok place. Not upto Marriott standard . Room doors were very hard to open and close . Breakfast was sad and not many choices as other similar properties.

The hotel was dirty, granted we checked in it close to 10 PM. The door on our hotel room had a broken hinge, which made it difficult to close and open the door. I also mistakenly use Expedia to book the room, which proved to be difficult.I would not recommend this hotel. I only needed the room for one night, and it was over $200. Very disappointed.

Hotel was really nice, had a coffee maker 2 electric burners, pots and pans, bowls and plates etc full size fridge. Clean.

Lots of space in the room. Breakfast is good great although they need to add a few more chairs in the pool area for people who are not looking to swim, but hanging just staying with their kids supervising your kids convenient parking. The staff is extremely friendly

Staff is rude and snotty basic ask were met with hostility god forbid the pool had no towels and the guest service person said I’ll do it if I want to if I get to it. Lose the damn attitude.

The room was absolutely beautiful with plenty of space for my family. My young son very much enjoyed the large mounted TV and the cozy chair as well as the pool which was also very clean. Everything was quite neat and clean. The only complaint was that the beds were too firm but only 2 out of the 4 of us had a problem with that. I cannot comment on the shower as we did not use it as it was just an overnight stay. Breakfast was lovely with quite a few options.

The fridge was not working at all. If a family is requesting a suite there should be a running fridge. I had food I couldn’t put in there and the door latch to the bathroom was broken so we had to yell to eachother to not come in. Not acceptable

Breakfast was good! Room was run down since last year. Cob webs, patched holes in closet door, fridge dented and had a problem staying plugged in. Usually there is dish soap and lotion. None was provided during our stay.

The room was clean the staff was kind. The issue I found was a distasteful smell throughout the hotel, a blend of awful cleaning fluid and urine. It was a very strong odor and extremely off putting. If my stay was more than a single night, I would have cancelled my stay and moved hotels

Wonderful

I had to switch rooms after my first night when I discovered that the door lock did not work. They were very accommodating in switching my room. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Housekeeping never came and cleaned my room. Maybe that is normal for a suite, and I certainly don't need my bed made or fresh towels every day, but it would have been nice to have a mid-week freshening with a vacuuming and trash emptied. Breakfast was excellent.

Room was comfortable and clean. Was never told pool was closed until morning of the date, front desk was difficult to communicate with for booking a room all week and was told incorrect information multiple times.

It's a good location; just dont get a room on first floor.

The room was great. The bed was nice but the pillows were just way roo soft and didn't offer much comfort at all. It was hard to sleep on them.

The main issue what that over our 4 day stay we were told that they did not have enough supplies. We had to exchange a towel for a towel and they had limited toilet paper. These are things that a guest should not have to worry about.

Rooms were clean and had all the features advertised, although I didn't realize the pool was outdoors and hence closed for the season.

The room i booked wasn't available and I am still waiting to find out about being reimbursed the difference in the room I booked and the room i had to be placed in.

Our stay at TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Liverpool, NY, was underwhelming. While the staff were nice when we could find them, it was often a challenge to locate anyone at the front desk. I had to wander around several times just to get assistance. Additionally, for a ‘newish’ hotel, I was surprised by the lack of upkeep. It wasn’t as clean as we expected, and the cleaning that was done seemed rather superficial. Overall, it didn’t meet the standards we’ve experienced at other hotels.

Good location, close to many chain restaurants Inside pool advertised but not available due to needed health department approval.

Enjoyed my stay at the TownePlace Liverpool. Excellent location near major highways with easy access to Syracuse. Lots of typical chain dining options nearby with plenty of good local restaurants too. For extended stays an excellent Wegmans grocery store is across the street with terrific pre-made meals and high quality grocery offerings. The hotel property is beginning to show some wear and tear but the amenities are all there for long term travelers. I’ll stay here again when I’m back in town.

We have stayed here, annually, with our grandkids, for a quick overnight and swim time. We were disappointed to learn, at check-in that the pool was down. We understand things happen. We ended up spending an extra $65 to take them to Sky Zone. All other services were fine.

Property is old and run down, so not super surprising that it’s not well insulated resulting in hearing the people in rooms above you and beside you. That happens , but what shouldn’t is rooms being filthy and things being broken in them and then wildly inept “management,” if you can call the GM Elizabeth that, making things worse. I struggle to understand how this individual is in any kind of management role. Get someone in that position that’s competent and not miserable. This was a simple thing to make right and only would’ve taken her to have some integrity.

Great stay for families! We took advantage of a king suite that came equipped with a full kitchen and pull out sofa. Pool was good, great laundry facilities. Breakfast was plentiful as there were many options and more for all to choose from. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We very much appreciated the hospitality at this hotel and would definitely recommend! The pool was a bit murky and cold.

We enjoyed our stay here. We have tried many hotels and this one was very nice. The room needed some upgrades but it was still in pretty good shape. The place was quiet and we had the pool to ourselves. We will definitely stay again next time we are in town.

Breakfast was full of options and very good. Pool was very nice. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Room wasn't the cleanest, food from previous visitors left in kitchen sponge and hair in shower drain. The AC was set at 58° when we got there.

It was so quiet in our room. Bed was very comfortable. having a full kitchen was great to store food & drinks, having dishes in the cabinets makes it great to heat up /cook food. We will definitely stay here again

We didn’t like that they have construction improvements on top of our room and we asked the front desk to change us to another room; at the beginning they said they don’t have rooms available with an arrogant attitude she hanged out on me. I called front desk again to asked to change it because of the noises and she answered me that is “10 in the morning honey” like saying I’m not supposed to be sleeping; and keep saying that they don’t have any availability but I told her that I was paying for the room and I can sleep all day if I want to and I told her that I was checking online and they have availability that they need to change our room, after we told her again to change it because we are paying for our room they gave us a different room.

indoor pool was great! The receptionist at the front desk was extremely rude- to myself & my three children, right from the start at check in. We live about 30 minutes from this hotel- and I decided to bring my kids to stay a night, so that they could swim and feel like we were on a mini vacation. When we arrived and went inside, the women looked up my reservation and when asked a question, would roll her eyes, to the point where even my 5 year old questioned her manners. We got into our room, and I noticed there was a broken glass coffee mug on the floor near coffee maker. I went down to the front desk to inform the worker- since it was there when we arrived, and she rolled her eyes at me yet again and said "and let me guess you expect me to clean this or are you?" I told her not to worry I would pick it up, as I did not want to inconvenience her anymore than I apparently already had. I went back to my room with the kids and we got ready to go swim. after swimming we decided to go into the fitness area- so my son could still do his football workouts. While inside the fitness area, at 7pm, the same lady then comes in with a scowl on her face and unplugs all the televisions, that we were watching, without saying a word- after telling me at checkin it was open 24/7. My son was walking on the treadmill clearly watching the TV while she unplugged it. OK maybe not a huge deal but this lady seems to have it out for us. My daughter (age 13) then asks the women if there were towels for the pool- and she said "does there appear to be any towels?" and mutters swear words under her breath, loud enough that my 5 hears her and her jaw about hit the floor in disbelief. I quickly gathered my kiddos and went back to our room. The following morning, checkout time comes along and we go to the desk with all of our belongings to drop the keys off and I get asked "what type of mess was left in the room?

the shower handle comes right off the wall when you turn the shower on. The shower head has so much built up grime that the water only trickles out. The floor of the shower was filthy which I ended up cleaning I did call the front desk that first evening to tell them. The lady said she would let the manager know in the morning. She did ask if I wanted to switch rooms, however I was all unpacked and exhausted and figured someone would fix it soon (no one ever fixed it or even mentioned it again). The rest of the room was decent. I never used the stove because all the pots/pans/utensils were made of the cheapest tin they could find. I would not feel comfortable using them. After the first 3 days , the room could definitely use a touch up, some TP and towels, so I saw the housekeeper in the room next to mine, and asked if she could pleas service my room. She said no problem (I also gave her a five dollar bill in case I was disrupting her schedule at all). Coming back that evening I walked in and noticed the only change was 2 bath towels (no other towels) she didn’t make the bed, bring TP, or change the trash. The next morning I asked the front desk if someone could service my room. The manager told me that “we only do that after 5 nights”. I thought she was rude didn’t feel like doing her job. However I did come back to a clean room that night. I was in NY burying my father that week. All I wanted was a hot shower and a basic service. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here and would definitely be back! We would also recommend this stay to family and friends! We love that there’s a kitchen in the unit and the breakfast options are better than most hotels!

Room was overall very clean only had two issues. The door was very hard to open and close because the hinge at the top of the door was loose and the door did not hang straight. When the door closed it slammed shut and you could hear it throughout the whole floor. Also the pillows need to be replaced.

The lady at check in was a bit rude but otherwise all the staff was very kind.

Amenities are great, room just needs some TLC.. Loved the mini kitchen setup! Stayed for a long weekend. With Wegmans across the street, we were able to have small meals in our room. Staff were all very friendly. Room needed some updating. Foot shelf in shower was hanging off the wall, missing towel rack under bath sink, blackout and privacy curtains were hanging off rod above the windows. Ceiling light in bathroom was out, asked twice for it to be fixed, no one ever came.

For a Marriott property this was odd. Breakfast and coffee in the morning was very good. My room was clean and stocked. All in all it was a pretty good stay.

I’d rate this higher and willing to give another chance but our bathroom wasn’t great. The main light didn’t work (kept flickering) and the shower head seemed busted making it tough to shower. Without a full door or curtain on the shower it was also hard to keep water going out of the shower. But this place was decent for a 1 night stop on a much longer trip

The hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating with our request for an early check in. The hotel was very clean and the area is full of shopping and options for food. The room had pots, pans and dishes for those that prefer to make their own food instead of ordering out. I would stay here again. Small issue with ants in the room.
