It’s an okay stop off along the interstate. Our room was nice and clean but kids running up and down the hall and somebody had barking dogs but it was quite after 10 pm. Breakfast bar had cold coffee.

It was a great stay, friendly staff, nice comfortable room. Satisfying breakfast. Thank you!

The pool was a little small for the number of guests, but otherwise staff were extremely helpful and readily available at any hour! I appreciated being able to check in later as I came from out of town.

Overall not bad. The staff was very nice. The room was really spacious and pleasant. Breakfast not bad. The pool room was not good. There was a ton of kids in the pool kept switching between the pool and the hot tub. They were yelling and very rude and splashing water on everyone. Repeatedly jumping in the pool. There was many people getting in the hotub about 11 people all at once. While in hotel room people repeatedly screaming in halls even when asked to quiet down.

Fresh looking and smelling when we walked into the lobby. Staff who checked us in was exceptionally polite, kind, efficient. Has pool and gym available for those who like to use those. Breakfast was full (not "continental") and fresh and hot. Room quiet - even refrigerator - and can open windows in room for fresh air. Once in elevator and upstairs hallway, smelled less fresh. Heard car outside in middle of the nught with engine running for a long time. Sherriff car in parking lot in early morning when I went out to take car to fill gas tank made me wonder about safety.

I’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times and have always had a great experience but this time the room above us had a child the ran from one side of the room to the other from 730 till 11. It took three times of complaining for it to stop. Then in the morning the staff gave me an attitude when I asked for a hair dryer because one wasn’t in the room

Unfortunately the pool and hot tub was over chlorinated. Brought to the attention of the staff and was told it was in normal readings. When I fact it was not the smell of chlorine went through the building in the pool house your eyes were burning. Kinda sucks being that’s one of the big deals we wanted when we paid to stay here. No remote for the tv in the room. The shower curtain bars in the room are curved therefore the curtains will not stay covering the shower they hang in the middle lol. Idk I wish I would have known about the pool and hot tub issues we would have went someplace different!

It is not a fancy place by any means, but compared to other hotels in this price range in the Syracuse area it is really quite nice! I stayed here a week and for the price it was excellent. It is clean. It is convenient. The grounds are nice and they actually provide a decent breakfast. I have been living out of a suitcase in the Syracuse area a lot recently for work and tried quite a few of the less expensive options - and this one is the nicest so far.

It was very quiet just need a little bit more TLC. Everything is good.

Common areas and our room was clean and tidy. Also the water pressure within the bathroom is unlike nothing I’ve seen before (in a good way). Shower-head pressure was on point and let’s just say the porcelain-throne doesn’t require a plunger with how much pressure is in each flush.

The staff was friendly and polite Young girl about 4 years old parents were allowing to swim topples. I have young boys 5, 8, & 10. Parents didn’t care. Staff tried to talk to them but ultimately said that they couldn’t do anything about it. On last night there they had a young couple and the male was in his underwear in the hot tub in full view of my children and myself and was anything but PG rated.

Easy in, easy out! Very comfortable. Breakfast - Not many options. Part of the reason I chose this hotel was because of the claims they made about the breakfast. My wife enjoyed it, but I did not.

It was clean and well lit. The staff was friendly and there was no issues with odor or safety. it's good for a night stay. The breakfast was not that good compared to the price. But upon doing more research, I guess it's one of the better ones there if you think holistically about the environment.

The room was not clean, the night light next to the bed was covered with dust. The night stand was sticky. There was a questionable stain underneath the bathroom stink. The carpets were stained and dirty looking. The pool was very nice. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The property was OK Good afternoon, I would like to make a formal complaint regarding my stay this weekend. The property was not clean, and I experienced major issues with ants in my room and my bed,along with a bug that I had to kill myself. I also took pictures as proof of the conditions. In addition, there was no housekeeping service during the nighttime, and no one came even once to clean the room, change the garbage, or replace the bedsheets since we checked in on Friday. This experience was very disappointing, and I would appreciate this matter being addressed as soon as possible. Thank you.

Nothing. Place was not clean. Room was very dirty. The drawers were dusty and full of lint. The room phone didnt work unless you held the phone cord in place. Lamp shades were filthy and broken. Smell of weed. Beds were very uncomfortable. Felt unsafe being there.

No blow dryer. I was told some of the rooms had them, but unfortunately not mine. Front desk not at all helpful.

This hotel was far less crowded than others which were closer to downtown or other attractions, but we were driving so +/- 5 mins didnt matter. Price was less than elsewhere for equivalent facilities. The room was very clean with with no sign of bugs or other issues. Breakfast and internet provided along with pool and hot tub. Parking was well lit, free and easy. I'd definitely stay there again.

Pool & hot tub were great for the kiddos only complaint is the room was not swept it had crumbs and such everywhere. I had to sweep and also wipe it down with lysol wipes which were gross after wiping. Also the corner was ripped up off the floor in room 212 which was a pain. Honestly the cleanliness off the room was my old complaint. Breakfast was good

The staff was arguing at the front desk while checking me and other customers in. The pool area had ants. It was extremely loud at all hours of the night. The room ac was noisy. The breakfast was not as advertised and they were out of pretty much everything. They ran out of blankets which did not help because even after turning down the ac our room was freezing but the front desk claimed they had zero extra blankets. Staff seemed miserable and arguing in front of customers is so unpleasant and made me extremely uncomfortable. They made us sign paperwork stating they had a no party policy but there were obviously several parties going on.

The hotel over all was not good, we arrived around 10:30pm no body was at the front desk, it took about half hour for someone to assist us.

No juice, no fruit, no coffee creamers or sugar. Bathroom door by pool does not lock and overall was just rundown. The hottub kept blowing a fuse, thats scary.

yes, the hot tub was hot enough, but the jets didn't work. The breakfast was average, the room was clean, it was raining and the window was leaking on the ledge of the window it was wet.

The hotel was okay. It seemed dated, but was comfortable enough. It used to be a best western. We used the hot tub, but the jets weren’t working, and when we noticed an oily film on the water, we got out and showered. The breakfast was good - eggs and bacon, cereal options, muffins and oatmeal. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful, the price was good, and the stay was comfortable. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the hot tub, which we were really looking forward to.

This was one of the noisiest hotels I’ve ever experienced. There was a birthday party with many children, and they put me and my party in a room that was near the conference room where the party was held and near all of the rooms where the partygoers were staying. I complained three times. The first time, I called at 9 PM. The person at the desk told me he had closed the pool. I didn’t understand what that had to do with hallway behavior on the second floor that had been happening for at least an hour. I called again at 10:15. I was immediately put on hold, called back three times, and no one answered. I called again at 11 PM, and I was told he would investigate. I will never stay at this hotel ever again.

Hot tub and pool smelled strongly of chlorine. Hit tub and pool hours are less than ideal. AC in the room didn’t sound great. Breakfast was the same both days (pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage links). It was ok, but nothing to write home about. The blueberry syrup was good!

We paid for three people and never got enough towels. There were no towels at the pool. Lots of unaccompanied minors at pool. Lots of food out of stock at breakfast. Not very well-done. We will unlikely return.

Around 4-5am I needed a room immediately due to being stranded during a snowstorm. I booked the hotel online because I didn’t have my physical card on me. When I arrived, the night shift staff told me I had no choice but to wait until 1–3 PM to check in. I’m a driver and had already been awake for over 24 hours, which made the situation extremely difficult. I had no option but to wait in the dining area after walking 15 minutes through the snow to reach the hotel. When day shift came on around 8 AM, the staff member was incredibly kind, woke me up, and got me checked in right away. I am extremely grateful for the day shift staff for understanding the situation and helping me get into a room as soon as possible, and I hope the night shift staff receives additional training on handling emergency or weather-related situations with more compassion.

Sadly , I must report seeing one cockroach in my bathroom .

The pool was so cloudy you could nit even see your legs ... the breakfast supposed to end at 9 abd we where out in lobby at 8:58 ans every thing was already clean abd put away so they clearly shut it down before 9 and the morning staff was rude as hell only good thing about the place was the night staff

We weren’t able to enjoy the pool or hot tub due to others down there partying and the staff didn’t want to do anything about it. We drove 5 hours to stay at the hotel and it was not worth any of it. This was my second visit under the new name. Both times for breakfast, they served stale pastries, stale bread, no fruit and not much else. It seems like all the nice extras have been stripped out to a bare bones hotel. I will not be back.

This hotel is very good but if the hot tub is gonna only work 1 day a month then don’t advertise that you have a hot tub. I’ve stayed here several weeks now and the hot tub is almost always out of service

Staff was very courteous; they were the best part of the trip. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Other guests on the hall were smoking pot all night; the smell seeped into the room and kept us up. Breakfast was terrible; stale bagels and stale muffins. Despite this, we would try staying there again.

Room was a nice size and linens seemed clean, but headboard was dirty…yuck. The bathroom unfortunately was not clean at all. There was ball of hair on the floor, dirt all piled up in the corners, white stuff dripping down the door. Eww! The breakfast was decent, but coffee was Luke warm and there was not a lot of selection of heathy choices.

We really enjoyed our stay the only down side was that it was a holiday and I didn’t realize that breakfast was over at 9:00. It was technically a weekday. They did let us have yogurt, apples and coffee.

The first room they gave us was filthy, the bathroom in a disgusting state. The next room was missing soap, towels, tissues, & the phone was broken. The toilet pedestal was not firmly anchored into the floor, it was dangerous to sit on.The staff appeared confused by our requests for better service. We explained the problems several times and got mostly incomprehension (this was not due to a language problem). We left for our meeting and on our return there was a dirty rubber glove in the bathroom but not change in the situation. Attempts to get access to the manager were unsuccessful. I would recommend that no one stay at this place.

The indoor pool was so cold my kids wouldn’t even swim in it, the hot tub was out of order. There was no one to help the front desk staff in the morning with breakfast, so everything kept running out, including silverware. I had to take my kids out to a diner for breakfast in the morning instead.

It was nice the staff was amazing, but the pool is falling apart and water is cloudy. The hot tub had so much skin in it that when you step in it moves. Cob webs in the room and dust balls (not bunnies) in the room.

Hot tub had been out of commission for two weeks.. that was the reason why we booked the best Western was for the hot tub… They could have updated their website to let people know that the hot tub would not be available… This was not a last-minute break… It’s been out of commission for over two weeks… also, you had one person running the desk and the breakfast… Wasn’t fair for her… She did the best she could… Coffee in the crafts were warm, not hot and… I don’t think it cost that much more but nobody really drinks coffee anymore with just cream and sugar… Quinn, you have those little packets of either French vanilla or hazelnut for the coffees… Everyone loves flavored coffee nowadays… You had none of that that rooms were clean bed was comfortable

Bed was comfortable. Place is a bit worn.Stairway was dirty and needed vacuuming. Pre packaged pancakes are less than desirable. Eggs fresh!! There was no bath mat for having a shower

We loved the fact that you can walk around and get good exercise in a peaceful spot. The room smelt bad and the partial carpet was at least 20 years old - hotel is not updated. We did not like the room due to these reasons. Breakfast was limited and same every day. Best Western should really update the hotel and get the customers a feel for new rooms else they are going to lose business.

It was also interesting that the hotel bill showed a total price of $ 93.62 less than what Expedia had charged us. It was a same day booking. Answer from Expedia was that this extra amount covers Expedia’s cost of running the booking platform. That was a new one! Beware!

Please stop the breakfast. This is a cause of frustration for the guests. The quality is so poor that you are making a disfavor to yourself and us by continue to offer it. Keep your dignity and discontinue! The coffee was cold, everything was off brand and seriously not worth the trouble

It was 8:35 AM on a Tuesday morning and breakfast was over at 9:00 AM. The pancake batter had finished when i got mine and asked for another customer that had a small child, if it could be replaced because the child wanted pancakes; the lady went to the back and came back out with no pancake mix. I understand that it was close to the 9:00AM cut off time but if you have a small child present waiting and not come out with the batter is not fair.

Convenient right off the interstate

The floor in our room was filthy. Probably hasn't been cleaned in quite some time. We had a 2 queen suite as we made the reservation for 2 adults and children. There were 2 towels to use. Breakfast was interesting. The coffee tasted like water, the pancake machine didn't work. No toaster. Juice machine didn't work. Tje staff did try to no avail to fix things.

Overall - bad experience. The property sits adjacent to a Lockheed Martin parking lot. There is a retention pond at the front of the property, along with a grassy area that appears to be mowed. The pond is covered in algae and is not pleasant. The building is low-slung, with two floors, and the carpets and rooms are not clean. There are very few outlets, so it's hard to plug in your devices. The lunchroom at the front is drab. I did not get a look at the pool or the meals they served. One of the mattresses appeared to have an extensive wet stain along the bottom. Both matresses were old and sunk in the middle and leaned to one side.

I originally booked a room with a jet jacuzzi tub. When we got there, we were told it was broken. Thankfully they upgraded us to a king suite for no additional charge, but I was really bummed about the jacuzzi. The bathroom in the suite was just a regular hotel bathroom. Breakfast was good the next day, and the staff was kind.

The hotel room was decent however, the bedding was dirty, and when asked to replace our comforter, we were told it could not be brought up to us because made service was not running, even though there was a maid cart sitting in the middle of the hallway down from my room. And when went down to collect a new comforter and intern they did not have any and could only provide a blanket, and the continental breakfast was lacking very small and very few options. Staff was friendly and pool area was clean, which was a bonus.

The hot tub was great, excellent breakfast as well. Staff was very accommodating, anything we needed we got right away. Highly recommend this property will most certainly stay there on our next visit to Syracuse. A++

There were several things that just took away from our stay. At check-in, the clerk kept telling me there was no membership associated with my email so I opened my email and showed him my email and membership number. At checkout, I was told to leave our room key in the clear plastic box and that she (the clerk) would email me my receipt. That was 8 hours ago.

We came for the Nationals. The staff was very friendly. The rooms, 3 couples had 3 king suites, were clean and spacious. Picnic tables with a pond view made it nice to sit and relax after a long day of walking. Even with having a showcar and truck and trailer, there was safe parking.

Room was not cleaned, sink leaked, ants in the room, shower curtain missing, air conditioner was not on in the gym, pool area needs to be cleaned and updated. Staff was friendly and immediately changed our room.

Location was great. Ample parking. Friendly staff. The bed was comfortable. The room smelled damp. The faucet in the sink was almost impossible to rinse your hands. The shower curtain kept sliding down getting water all over the floor. Carpet looked worn.

Loved the jacuzzi room and my grandson did too! Staff was nice and helpful! 10/10 Recommend

I stayed last year it was wonderful thos time terrible no water fountain working had no water to buy. Pool dirty at 9 in the morning they ran out of coffee and later on the coffee was cold and not good. Air conditioner was not strong door outdide broken anyone could get in. Ceiling in hall leaking hope it gets back the way it use to be.

If it wasn’t so late at night we would of went somewhere else, but with young children and being on the road for 9 hours we were exhausted, the staff was friendly but the hallway leading to the room was filthy and had a bad odor. The room was dirty as well, did not look cleaned, dirt all over the floor and surfaces as well as the sheets, we used our blankets we brought, there was hair in our towels and wash cloths, the room had a terrible odor. Breakfast was ok, juice, milk and coffee were all watered down. At least the staff were friendly.

I was told that there was just one other room available and when I went in it, it was musty and dirty, and I didn’t stay in that one either. The room that I did stay in as I stated, the phone was missing and I was told that there was an issue with some type of electrical problems, but most importantly, I had to get off the following morning and walk down the hall and around the corner to go into a different room to shower. Absolutely unacceptable

Room was #3of the worst rooms we ever stayed, toilet seat was completely loose shortage of everything. Walls of room were filthy, curtains grose stained molding and wallpaper loose every where. Room was out dated. I have pics that will be posted somewhere.

Booked a month ago. When I arrived they said there wasn’t a room available yet I would have to wait 15-20 minutes. It ended up being 45 minutes

Accommodating

The staff at check in was nice and friendly however, advised us that there was a problem with our room. We booked a room with 2 queen beds and upon checking in were informed that we did not have the room we requested (which was in the bookong information) ans had to share a room with one king bed with oir family of 4. At first it washt an optiom to change rooms but the friendly staff made it work for us. This mistake isnt on the Best Western but on Expedia. We were not happy at all.

Checked into the hotel and our room was not clean at all. Hair in the tub, bed and floors, dirt all over the floors.

The facility didn’t mention the amenities not working which was the reason I booked the hotel in the first place. Service could have been better !

Good

Reserved and paid for a room with a netted tub. 2 weeks prior to stay. Hour before check in received a call from them saying the room they did not have available. Called them back and they said it was under maintenance and didn’t think it would be ready but it was all good to go. I get there and jet doesn’t work. No room to uograde or swap out. No resolution to this riven as of yet. It’s been hell to even speak with Eugene the manager. Was told he would be here at 11. It’s now 1pm and no Eugene? Now on phone with corporate. Didn’t have to get this far if you just handle your business within the location. I want my money back or anther stay.

Booked it for pool and hot tub amenities but upon arrival discovered they were closed

The hotel was clean with facilities well maintained. The customer service was phenomenal from check in to extra towels. It was an overall enjoyable stay!

No pool, no breakfast, expired food,

Room wasn’t ready 90 mins after check in. TV was broke, shower handle would fall off, breakfast was limited and poor quality. Pool and hot tub was out of commission.

adequate ,safe stay warning. their pool and whirlpool are closed, bathroom and room clean, window sill a little overlooked. got the wheel in shower in accesible room. no grab bars in shower. shower head with detachable hose high overhead person in a wheelchair would ned an aide in the shower with them

Breakfast was good; coffee was great. Close tocthe Thruway exit. The room, on the other hand, was disappointing. No refrigerator and the coffee maker was broken. The bath mat was dirty and missing toiletries in the bathroom. The room joined with another room. Despite the two closed doors, I was able to hear their conversation until 3:30am. They kept the TV on all night.

Have stayed here before and have always been impressed. Was disappointed that the hot tub was not functioning (although no fault of the hotel as they had tried to get the unit repaired and the company servicing the hot tub had issues sending a functional part.)

We showed up, there was a note at the front desk that the hot tub was out of order, but the pool was operable. We checked in, saw the room, with only one bath towel, terrible pillows that were dingy.

Had alot of issues with the Ac not getting cokd enough and the tub/shower is very good for anyone with a bigger body.

Pool and hot tub were closed, no refund given even though amenities were closed. Garbages in my room weren’t emptied, bathroom was dirty, no towels in my room.

Food below average for hotel in this price range in Syracuse (few choices, butter and cream cheese left out warm on counter, little fruit). When we arrived, toilet paper dispenser broken, no towels. Ran out of TP and tissues, asked for more, and they were left on a counter and not installed. Dirty ceiling and frayed bed-ruffle made room feel unclean. Very convenient location, though.

This property is privately owned and does not live up to Best Western’s standards. There was no maintenance crew on property. They split their time among 7 properties. At any given time there may or may not be a manager on site because they go to other locations also. We stayed Mother’s Day weekend, which was graduation weekend. So we paid premium prices for sub-par accommodations. Staff did the best they could. Rooms showed wear and tear. Windows nail shut. I have never had an issue with Best Western until this weekend. I would not recommend.

Much better than expected

The pool was broken , the floors in room were not swept and blanket in top of closet had just been thrown in shelf as if it had been used . No hand soap for three days after finally asking again got some , they said they were out . Breakfast is a joke and the whole place needs attention. Ask for room service and that was never provided . I will never stay there again .

There were bugs all over the room. We had to move our room. The first person we spoke with was not accommodating period waited till the morning. The manager was accommodating, but we'll not stay there again. I would have left, but it was too late at night to leave

Had a pleasant stay

The jacuzzi has been broken for weeks. Also, I visit often, it wouldn’t hurt to change the breakfast up. Have some fresh fruit out, berries to go with the yogurt. Get the drink machine fixed instead of those tiny baby cartons of juice. Also get smart TVs and USB and C ports on the lamps. ☺️☺️

A good example of “you get what you pay for” room and lobby area clean and neat, staff were mostly friendly. Customer service is a bit sub par but maybe it is a more affordable option because they employ less staff for guest services?

Nice stay!!

The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were also quite nice! The room however needed a bit more of a cleaning. The phone was really dirty, there was stuff spilled on the nightstand but not wiped up and there was a mystery white drip of something on the bed skirt. The breakfast included a pancake machine (fun!) But the hotel uses plastic disposable cutlery etc for that.

The manager was super friendly and helpful! The common areas (lobby, breakfast area, front desk) were nicely kept. Once I got in my room things changed. Light on night stand only worked on one side, bathroom mirror had been broken and poorly glued, air/heat unit made a terrible squealing noise, and toilet wouldn’t stop running. Bathroom had not been cleaned well… mirror had an obvious mess sprayed across the entire middle from the last guest, floor did not appear to have been mopped (there was even a bobby pin on the floor), there was no bathmat or soap, conditioner bottle was almost empty, towels were stained/dirty, and the tub did no drain properly. I tried switching the bulb out (which did not work), then reported the lamp to the front desk when asking for a bar of soap. Manager offered to switch out lamp but I told him not to worry about it. I did not notice the missing bathmat or gross towels until I showered the next morning. I had 2 key cards for the room which both stopped working TWICE and I had to go to the front desk both times to get them reprogrammed. I also could not get the keys to work on the outside door card reader, which made it difficult to get in from busy parking lot. Breakfast was decent but attendant didn’t stay up on need. I left the first day with just a cup of coffee because I didn’t have time for her to replenish. The hotel was very busy so I expected some noise, but the sound traveled through walls and floor more than what I would have expected!

Booked here just to take my grandson swimming. We were told the pool was closed for maintenance. Would not give me a refund because I booked it through Expedia.

The bed is to hard and pillows are lousy

We booked for the hot tub & it wasn't working, but we weren't advised when I specifically asked about the tub! We had hair stuck to the bathroom floor. there was a big rip in a chair & our room STUNK badly like perfume.

We tried to get new towels, they gave us 3 when 4 people were staying in the room. When we tried to get new towels the next day they didn’t have any available, they told us to come back in 20 minutes to get towels and none were available. This continued through the night and we’re not able to get anything other than pool towels

Big rooms

Beds were comfy. There was no microwave ( was supposed to be in the suite). No towels for the pool, or any extra for the room, dispite not being very busy.

Did not stay the night and couldn’t get a retund. Did not want to go to the USA considering all the unrest there. We don’t feel safe.

I always do a little cleaning when I arrive and I was pleased with how the clean the room already was. The hot water didn’t work one of the mornings but it was fixed by a decent time. The hot tub was really nice and relaxing. We had a comfortable stay and the staff was great.
