Homewood Suites by Hilton Syracuse/Liverpool

We booked this hotel because it was the only one we could find to offer a free airport shuttle after midnight. The room, staff, and facilities themselves were great - big suites, well-appointed, breakfast options plenty and well presented, restaurant staff friendly and attentive. The hotel asked us to call once we got to the airport (at midnight) so that they could send out the shuttle. But when we arrived, the line could not be connected no matter how many times we tried. It always appeared either engaged or went straight to voice mail, or we would get hung up on immediately after one ring. We ended up being able to get to the hotel because there was a shuttle waiting anyway (although it wasn't sent out for us) - lucky for us, and we greatly appreciate the shuttle service...but it was a frustrating experience to have at midnight.

Kitchen staff was exceptional. Went out of their way to offer gluten free food.

The room is very spacious and clean. The lobby is welcoming and the staff is great. They are so friendly! The breakfast is awesome, having a great selection of items. A hot breakfast is included. Even though we came in May, the pool area looks inviting. Will stay here again There wasn’t anything to complain about.

The staff was super friendly and helpful! The complimentary breakfast was AMAZING! Not just the usual eggs, cereal, pastries, yogurt etc (though they had that too!) but beignets one morning and Eggs Benedict another! The room was spacious, we received a welcome bag upon arrival - I’ve been traveling for 2 weeks (4 different hotels) and the Homewood Suites in Liverpool/Syracuse was the BEST experience!!

A relatively quiet location few miles north from Syracuse center. Both the room and the lobby were in superb shape. The lobby is spacious and tastefully decorated in a "wood" theme. The stuff was helpful and cheerful, which was a bonus on a stressful weekend. The included breakfast features a variety of options, and the pastries were fresh and delicious. none

The staff at this hotel was outstanding. They were helpful at every turn. They were kind, warm, friendly, welcoming. The free breakfast was more than you’d expect and delicious. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

This is our favorite hotel in the area! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean! The staff is ready to help and always so friendly! The dining area has delicious homemade breakfast food! Ms. Denise makes the best variety of muffins! I highly recommend this hotel!

It would be helpful if there were a hospital rate. My son was there, in Syracuse to have surgery at Upstate Medical Center. In Vermont at UVM, the surrounding hotels and motels will give a reduced rate. This was our 3rd stay inside of 2 months.

Comfortable beds and great location for our purpose!

Breakfast very good, many options. Rooms could use updates, otherwise very good.

At nowhere in the reservation process were we notified that 21 is the minimum age to check in. I have asked for a callback from a supervisor and still have not received one. We are greatly disappointed and wondered what would’ve happened if this had been a -20° day.

A spacious suite with kitchen, living room with gas fireplace and large king sized bedroom. While very clean the furniture, carpet and bathroom fixtures could be updated. The included breakfast was abundant with numerous choices served in an attractive dining area.

It may be time to do a touch up in the rooms. Current in bedroom #100 would not close. The sliding. Closet doors were difficult to move then came off the track easily. Outlets throughout the suite did not work. The furniture was very comfortable along with the ammenities.

Great staff, and great breakfast! Unfortunately property is becoming run down; our suite was starting to be very rough. Carpet cut in multiple places, hole in the king bedroom door patched, mold or something on the roof of the double queen suite bathroom, kitchen doors hanging open by the garbage, and toilet constantly needed to be manually fixed in the queen suite side. Wasn’t the worst but just needs some TLC for $400usd a night.

The hotel shares transfer services with multiple other hotels! That being said we waited over an hour to get a ride back to the hotel after midnight! Our plane arrived at 11:45 pm and after several phone calls got back to the hotel at 1:20 in the morning!

This Hilton is in serious need of an update, very dated. Coffee was not hot one morning, otherwise the breakfast was ok and about as expected.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Staff was excellent, rooms were exceptional. The breakfast was unbelievable. We had a service dog. The accommodations were five star all the way.

Quiet property with considerate staff.

On the flip side, we noticed the carpet needed to be shampooed. The carpet was sticky to walk on and made our feet black. This wasn’t a HUGE deal for us but definitely something that should to be brought up. Maybe it was just our room, I’m not sure. This was just our experience here.

I like the size of the rooms, having a kitchen area with a full refrigerator and a king size comfortable bed. Love the pool too! The only thing they should have though are umbrellas at the tables in the pool area. It was very hot and muggy( which I don’t mind) when we were just there, but it would’ve been nice to have an umbrella for some shade! Otherwise everything was great!

I didn’t like them at the carpeting in the hotel room turned my grandchildren’s feet black….jet black…the carpets need to be replaced

Nice big suite for our family. Did find a very old moldy bread in the cabinet above the fridge and the ventilation was funny (we had not so kid friendly smells wafting in from other rooms). Magically we happened to be staying there on a Wednesday, which is when the manager's reception with complimentary food and beverage happens, which was great!

Wonderful staff, we had an issue with our room and they immediately took care of the problem. The facility is clean, the rooms are spacious are comfortable. It has an outside pool great for families with small kids. Highly recommended

The hotel is clean and was located very close to everything I needed. The bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. The staff was great. My check in was delayed over an hour because my suites toilet was messed up so they had to find me another room. But the staff was friendly and let me work out i the fitness center while I waited

when I first entered the room for the first time, I discovered that the conditioner bottle mount was broken, and the bottle was sitting in the tub. Additionally, the room hadn’t been cleaned.

Quiet area, easily accessible from the highway. Suites are comfortable and the staff (the breakfast staff in particular), were helpful and very friendly. Various breakfast options, typical in taste, very acceptable. If I could have changed anything it would be the showerhead, water everywhere there shouldn't be.

Convenient for an over night family fun night. Enjoy the size of the space.

A very disappointing stay between a room not being clean and a broken toilet roll holder on the ground and an extremely noisy heater, we would unfortunately never stay here again. More so because nothing was done to assist us when we spoke to staff while at the hotel and Nick upon our return home.

Staff at desk were amazing they checked on us every day to make sure everything was fine! Just a great clean hotel to stay out!

The main building is beautiful. The staff was very friendly, upbeat, and helpful. The room was comfortable but could use updated carpets. However, I booked this specific hotel it said on expedia that it has a pool. Being NYS i automatically thought an indoor pool. My children were very disappointed to find out it was an outdoor pool. The advertising should be made clear that it is not an indoor pool.

Beautiful rooms but both our beds had obviously not been changed as there was black hair in both beds, they brought us new sheets when we called but it was gross.

I have stayed here several times and have more than happy, this time was different. Across the hall the slammed every 10 minutes people arguing and yelling about money, dog barking, I think strangers to the dog were showing up and it did not like it. Strange people hanging out in the parking lot when I went to pick up my dinner. The room was nice but showing its age. Around the shower area caulking was loose and dirty. Over all the room was good, just a little disappointed especially with the price point. I think next we will try the holiday inn down the street

The main part of the hotel was nice but the room was in rough shape and there was a loud party going on all night.

One night stay as part of our travel plan. We liked the fact that we could bring a take-out dinner back to the room and have plenty of space with all the utensils and plates provided. Also, the large refrigerator helped to store some food we were travelling with.

We were extremely pleased with our 2 night stay at Homewood. They provided gluten free menu items for my husband and even had choices! The food was excellent as was the service. The location is convenient for the thruway, and 81.

Didn't like being in building number 2 since breakfast is in building number 1. If it's really cold out you don't want to be going across the parking lot for breakfast.

Check in took a little while but we did get there way later in the night than expected. Breakfast was great and the dining area was very clean and homey. The dining attendants where very nice and attentive. They gave our girls coloring sheets. I wish the parking lot was bigger. It was a little difficult finding parking near the closest entrance to our room. Our toilet kept clogging so they ended up leaving the plunger in our room to use.

I booked this room for our anniversary since I wanted to take my Husband to Texas de Brazil at Destiny USA. We are members of Hilton honors and exclusively utilize Hilton when possible. The front desk staff were amazing, kind and inviting. Our room was as expected; clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a late night so didn’t have the complimentary breakfast but were offered to go before they cleaned up. Will definitely book again

Room was like stepping into a grandparents hunting cabin. My wife immediately got a rash once lying on the bed. Do not rely on shuttle service. It may or may not actually exist. We were forced to use taxi / uber services on arrival and departure due to hotel staff. The coffee in the lobby was pretty good.

Avoid. Room was outdated and not appealing. Toilet was running during our stay. Breakfast options limited. A much better option is the nearby Hampton Inn.

There is no soundproofing. My room on the 2nd floor felt like I was in someone's basement. I heard every footstep and the ceiling creaked and cracked. It woke me up numerous times over the night, when the upstairs guest got out of bed. I slept poorly and it was not good value, in my view.
