Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness, and great breakfast. However, some guests have noted issues with room maintenance and comfort, as well as limited food options at breakfast. The location is also appreciated for its proximity to local attractions and amenities.

The door to the bathroom won't stay open, got in the way. Fridge was froze up but they fixed that. Lamp on the desk worked when it felt like it.
- 3/5
Good location, staff is super helpful, and the pool/hot tub was nice. My complaint is the breakfast. Very few options during the week vs weekend and also not a lot of condiments.
- 5/5
Monica at the front desk was amazing. She got us in our room early, fixed our clogged sink, and administered first aid to a couple that had an accident in the parking lot; and she did it all with a smile. Doesn’t get any better than her.
- 5/5
Had a great stay! Friendly and helpful staff, quiet comfy room, breakfast selection was good, coffee better than expected, warm cinnamon rolls a very nice touch. Will be staying here again!!!
- 4/5
The property is quiet and the breakfast is good to very good with plenty of variety. I arrived very late and they gave me a room right next to the icemaker and the fitness center, so it wasn’t all that peaceful. Also this particular room had a slight smell to it but I really didn’t spend any time in there except for sleeping. Staff were friendly and helpful though. Free parking was a plus.
- 4/5
The stay altogether was good. Cloth shower curtains were smelly. Good complimentary breakfast. The guest bathroom downstairs was dirty and without soap. I had to request soap. Thank you
- 4/5
Just a little above average.
- 5/5
The privacy between rooms. Limited parking.
- 5/5
Clean room, helpful and kind staff, breakfast was the normal continental breakfast. Would stay again due to cleanliness, beautiful and safe area, and amazing staff.
- 4.5/5
A nice new neighborhood to walk in behind hotel!
- 4/5
This location was ideal for us, close to family in the area. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was staffed by a lady who kept it well supplied.
- 3/5
Free parking, attentive staff, lovely breakfast buffet, pool/hot tub with mountain views are all great. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. But the bathroom was "down the drain"...awful lighting and ventilation, shower/tub valve was loose, no counter space, and very old shower curtain.
- 4/5
The breakfast offerings were slimmed down from our many previous stays there. The room itself was dark. Even with every light turned on it was difficult to see in the room.
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff, safe parking and breakfast was on par for these hotels.
- 5/5
All good. Clean, comfortable room, convenient location, safe and friendly employees. Easy parking.
- 5/5
Great spot close to Red Rocks. Lariat Brewery right across the way had amazing food! Room was well maintained and staff was friendly! Definitely will stay again for another Red Rocks trip

Exceptional
- 4/5
The rooms and the beds were very comfortable. As a coffee drinker, I would have liked to have had 24-hour coffee like the property at the airport does. The hotel was great, the rate was good and it was perfect location for a girls trip and visiting red rocks.
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
This was a very nice simple holiday in. We chose this location bc it was close to red rocks. The staff was kind and helpful. The place was clean. We did not use the breakfast or amenities.

It was an ok stay, just not as good as our other IGH hotels on our vacation.
- 5/5
Helpful staff, easy to access, good breakfast
- 5/5
Clean room with an excellent breakfast on the weekends. Staff was friendly and I loved the cookies and orange water in the lobby. The price was decent and we had a good stay. Easy access to the red rocks as well

Fantastic hotel. Great room and a very good breakfast!
- 5/5
Very clean, quiet location. Dog friendly which is a plus. Great breakfast. Comfortable quiet, clean room. Wonderful shower.
- 5/5
Everything smelled clean all of the time, fresh water with lemon or oranges everyday. Extremely close to Denver and other areas I would stay here again!
- 3/5
The pool area smelled horribly. Not sure if mold or something that isn’t safe. Didn’t smell right at all.
- 3/5
Hotel was in great shape. Everything was clean. The breakfast was good and filled regularly.
- 5/5
Good breakfast. Clean facilities. Good parking
- 5/5
Awesome quick last minute get away! Highly recommend! Very clean and friendly staff!
- 3/5
Should have let the guest know about renovations that is not acceptable in anyway waking up too demolishing of a whole floor at 8am for a late check out
- 5/5
Nice front desk
- 5/5
The pool hours are the best too (5AM – 11PM). The kids loved the late-night swim and had such a great time. Not so much. You can still hear some noise from the next room or the hallway but it was at a regular level and I had a good sleep.
- 5/5
Clean room, breakfast was excellent and great location to say if participating in a hockey tournament.
- 4/5
Nice, can use updating
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff, decent continental breakfast. Great location.
- 5/5
Awesome stay very clean
- 5/5
Great pool and gym. Rooms are very clean and beds were great.
- 3/5
Room was clean heat/ air worked well bed was comfortable and pillows were comfortable too. Staff was a mix of friendly and aloof. Had an issue with the bathtub leaking into the lower room. Was told it was because I didn’t use the shower curtain inside the tub. Well that’s ridiculous since I was bathing and not showering. And there was no water on the floor which is what they contributed the leak to. I informed the desk and asked them to have maintenance check the tubs overflow. It was extremely noisy doors slamming foot steps talking. Very thin walls. The room itself was very nice. Seemed clean and the sheets smelled clean. I think if it had not been for the noise I would have slept very good and for the amount of money I paid the noise was disappointing. If I stay here again I’ll ask for the 3rd floor. Maybe that will be better noise wise. Breakfast was ok the eggs were actually good and I love the cinnamon rolls. They had no bacon. The choices for food was ok. And the coffee was decent for me but it may not be good for a coffee snob. Not disin a coffee lover with high level expectations. Just giving my take on it. So with that said I may opt to stay there again but I will not pay the amount of money paid this time. It was an adequate hotel but the noise was annoying.
- 5/5
Definitely will book again
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean the stuff for courteous and some were very nice breakfast though that needs some work they were short staffed the pancake maker kept clogging up and there were always running out of something and then I got stale milk which made me sick and the pool smelled like dirty feet but it was really nice the hot tub was the right temperature nice and hot and the pool was nice and warm
- 4/5

Nice and clean room, helpful staff. Breakfast can be better but overall a happy stay.

Want to point out the excellent service by Erica. She was helpful, friendly and professional. TV remote was sporadic in changing channels, the volume always worked.

- 4/5
Staff amable! cuarto limpio! Parking seguro, desayuno puede mejorar quizás la variedad aunque los días que hubo bacon estaba riquísimo.😁
- 4/5
Pool was fun. Small but warm and enough space to swim with other people there. Gorgeous view of the foothills from the pool too. Room was clean but thin floors so we could hear everyone's foot steps above us. But great little staycation for us and we will be back. No cinnamon rolls when we got to breakfast so super bummed but maybe next time!
- 2/5
I booked a two queen bed room and was given a king bed at check-in. When I mentioned it to the clerk, she told me no. No vent in the bathroom. Showering with the door open wasn’t ideal. Otherwise, everything else was fine.
- 5/5
The room was spotless and all of the staff were friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
All was ok until I went to check out. Was told they have someone at the desk 27-7. Was there at 2 am with no one around I waited and tried to find someone, made multiple phone calls with no help. I had to leave and catch my flight. Probably won’t stay at that location again.
- 5/5
Nice and clean, breakfast was amazing.
- 5/5
I liked that the staff were helpful in accommodating our needs, and the overall experience was great.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and working through a major holiday can't be easy. They were cheerful and did a great job.
- 5/5
There was a Chex on the floor by the trash can but it was still a nice experience.
- 4/5
The stay was average, the breakfast we good
- 3/5
The staff were nice, the room and Inn was spotless. Would have given a 5 rating however breakfast mediocre and we had pre-paid for a room with a package deal and were accidently charged again. In attempting to obtain a refund, it took several phone calls to a main number that was given from the Inn and I was unable to get through with the robo receptionist. I phoned back twice and I was finally redirected to the front desk, which should have happened in the first place, which was a hassle I did receive a call back and they are in the process of refunding the overcharge. It was also my error because I did not get a receipt upon leaving which would have caught the error.
- 5/5
Big clean room
- 4/5
Property was clean and convenient
- 5/5
Very nice and clean hotel. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was typical warm foods and was good. A little limited selection but we were there during the weekdays so it made sense. Pretty quiet area but easy access to highways which I appreciated.
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast (included) was a bit disappointing. Bet item was the fresh biscuits. Parking was fre, available and safe. Location was great. Very good stay and value.
- 4/5
Clean room, staff was friendly, easy parking
- 2/5
Holiday Inn Express has always been my go to. I was disappointed.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean! Staff was amazing, they recommended great food choices around town, breakfast was good and parking and experience overall was great!
- 4/5
There was a lot of parking available close
- 4/5
Nice pool and hot tub, relaxing.
- 5/5
Front desk Agent Dana was very nice and kind. She greeted us the minute we walked in and when we checked out. Would book again in this location .
- 4/5
Pot holes in parking lot.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Very clean room, friendly staff
- 5/5
No meat analogues for us vegans. Would have bern nice to have meat/egg substitutes, potatoes, and non dairy milk option
- 3/5
I am not sure the age of this facility but it is tired. The staff managing breakfast didn't do a good job ensuring there was enough during the scheduled time nor the quality. Some hot food was room temperature and other overheated.
- 3/5
We stayed for 4 nights, and were not able to watch a single TV show without glitches and stoppages and messages appearing on our screen. As a senior citizen, I appreciated the convenience of a first- floor room, so we did not want to change to another floor. Besides, our room was very quiet, and we were unsure of what we might experience on the other floors. The hotel staff said that they would not refund us any money since we prepaid through Expedia. The tv problems were not due to weather, since we had sunny skies the entire time that we were there. The hotel staff did offer us extra recovery points, but since I’m not a frequent traveler, that doesn’t help me. We saved up our money to be able to afford this trip, and were disappointed when we were not able to relax in our room and watch tv after a long, busy day. I have pictures of what our tv screen looked like, if you care to see them. I shared them with the front desk personnel, and they apologized and tried to reset our tv, but it didn’t change anything. We feel that we deserve some sort of compensation for our experience. Can you help?

- 5/5
Great economy hotel.
- 4/5
Nice place but the pool needs work. The painted floor is chipping and sticks to your feet. If you get in the hot tub, you’ll notice mold on the side of the pool.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
a very clean and quiet place to stay. i would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
The girl at the front desk was amazing!!
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff.
- 5/5
This place was in such a nice location 10 minutes away from Red Rocks Amphitheatre will definitely be coming back.
- 5/5
Everything was clean
- 5/5
Great stay, comfortable, good location.
- 5/5
Good breakfast! Only complaint would be how small the fitness center is.
- 5/5
Convenient to Red Rocks. Good breakfast.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 3/5
Our room was comfortable and check-in was very easy and pleasant. Good proximity to red rocks amphitheater. Couple of points to improve on for that the breakfast was cold because the heater is turned off at 8:30 in the morning when we got there and also even though we had the do not disturb hanging on the door, housekeeping service came in anyway at 8 o’clock in the morning and quickly saw that we had Still been trying to sleep
- 4/5
Thisnhotel is old and smells old. However, it was clean and the location wasn't bad.
- 3/5
The beds were cozy and linens too. Weird smell in the lobby when you walk in maybe it’s old carpet . The pool- well when they painted it grey, and you swim or get in the hot tub, my daughter had grey pieces of paint all over her skin where it’s flaking off. So we left the pool. The pool water was too cold anyway. There really is so vending machines or way to get snacks because they don’t have much at the front . We had a handicapped bathroom and there was no counter space to get ready .
- 5/5
Very nice room, bed, and shower. I was hoping for the cheesy omelets though!
- 5/5
will stay again definitely
- 4/5
I had a nice stay at this hotel. The bed was comfy, sheets were clean, bathroom was clean. The hotel is close to the areas that are nice. other guests were quiet, and the breakfast... well the OJ was not enjoyable, the rest was fine.
- 4/5
The hotel itself was clean and quiet. It was easy to get to and find. The proximity to Red Rocks Amphitheater was great for hiking and visiting. The breakfast options were limited, as staff stated they were running out of some of the offerings.
- 5/5
Great staff. Clean rooms, modern and roomy.
- 4/5
Good location and good breakfast!
- 4/5
Nice room, comfortable bed, nice view. The only thing I did not like wa breakfast . It was substandard.
- 5/5
Very Accessible to all our needs, quiet very friendly and helpful staff !
- 5/5
Great hotel!
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
The bed was super comfy!!
- 2/5
Tv didn’t work on most channels. Breakfast had no cranberry juice or orange juice
- 5/5
Very clean, good amenities
- 5/5
Staff was amazing. They were kind, professional, and hardworking. We stayed for a week and we never heard anyone in the hallway or a room next door from our own room. It was a convenient location to red rocks and many other attractions. Would 10/10 recommend.
- 4/5
Close to red rocks. Quiet and clean. Staff was friendly
- 5/5
Friendly check in staff and breakfast attendant. Enjoyed the personal touch, provided to us by these special people.
- 5/5
The property is in a great spot near Denver! We will stay here again next time we head back to the area!
- 3/5
The hotel workers were so pleasant, and the breakfast was great. My only qualms with the room was that the shower didnt drain very well, and we found a blood stain on our white comforter. Other than that, it was immaculate!
- 5/5
Had a pleasant stay here. Really convenient being next to the freeway! Really friendly staff and hotel was really clean! Would stay here again!
- 5/5
Great place to stay, great staff
- 5/5
The hotel was exactly what we wanted in our brief stay in Colorado. Friendly staff and very clean facility.
- 5/5
Nice and peaceful
- 5/5
Clean but maybe due for some upgrades
- 5/5
Nice area.
- 5/5
Nice area.
- 5/5
Excellent staff, clean, and good location
- 5/5
Enjoyed a peaceful afternoon with hot tub and relaxing views.
- 5/5
Thank you!
- 5/5
Accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Hotel lobby is very inviting and the front desk staff was very nice.
- 5/5
This is a great spot; good location; a great value for the money and pleasant professional service. I will return on my next visit to the area.
- 4/5
Good breakfast
- 2/5
This particular stay was very sub-standard. The mattress in my room was in really bad shape & had a crater in it which made sleep rough. 2nd: there's no receptacle for doggy bags in the back area. 3rd: I was not given a receipt, and was told I'd receive an email. I didn't.
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
obtained one room / one night was on E470 near west end and hotel is very clean area around with lots of places to go and eat parking lot clean and quiet room very nice comfy staff friendly very nice place and cheap!
- 3/5
The hotel felt dingy and our room was pretty dirty (baseboards, walls behind doors, carpet) and rundown (missing drywall, holes in the bathroom walls, broken door stop). The AC unit looked as if it had never been cleaned, but the room was hot and humid when we arrived so we had to run it anyways. Although the price was super affordable I expected more. The photos made everything look newer and bigger than it is. The pool was much smaller than expected and had a funky smell. Don’t have high expectations if staying here.
- 4/5
It is a nice property but the walls are thin and the beds are harder than I prefer. The hot tub was hot and the staff friendly.
- 5/5
Staff were amazing, property is off the highway and more secluded. Great experience
- 3/5
Older hotel but room was clean. Liked having microwave & fridge in room.
- 4/5
Nice, newer facility, with a complementary breakfast. Note, the pancake maker was out of order and one day there were no eggs.
- 2/5
The hallways had a terrible smell.
- 4/5
Beautiful view from the location, and staff was great!
- 5/5
Great service from the staff! Great breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub. Excellent rooms!
- 4/5
It was fine. No complaints
- 5/5
Good location, close to stores, restaurants and gas stations. Nice view of the foothills. Great customer service, friendly, professional, accomodating staff. Nice indoor clean pool and jacuzzi with a view of the foothills. Great breakfast with many choices. Room was clean, plenty of room with a view of the snow on the foothills. Nice workout room, new clean eqipment.
- 1/5
We booked a room for a night as a Valentine’s gift to ourselves, mostly to use the hot tub after a stressful week and to get a good nights sleep. We live 6 minutes away, so we could have stayed home. But we don’t venture out a lot. We were a bit disappointed in how the floors seemed to make every noise echo. We couldn’t sleep at all because the people above us were SO LOUD. It sounded like they were marching around from the moment we got into the room to the moment we woke up. We even could tell when they checked out and then could hear the cleaning. We probably would not stay again.
- 3/5
The drainage of the tub and shower area is stucked
- 4/5
Great breakfast and place to stay, pool was closed and that was a bummer.
- 5/5
Very nice and quiet
- 2/5
The lady at check in was super rude. She told me I had to wait because she needed to fold towels.
- 4/5
Quiet, friendly staff
- 3/5
This stay was an extension. The room was clean room with a ok bed, small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Has a desk with a ok office chair, small closet with ironing board and iron. It lacked sockets by the bed. The elevator failed once, but was fixed within the hour. The breakfast is ok, but after the 3rd day you get bored eating the same eggs with sausage. I breakfast is supposed to last until 10 but after 9:30 am usually there is nothing. Most likely they will make something for you if you ask. The hotel is not luxury, but its one of the best in the area
- 3/5
I would say that this property is an average hotel located on the west side of the Denver area. There is nothing fancy about it if you’re looking for somewhere to sleep for the night and want to be able to also use a pool, hot tub, and eat a continental breakfast in the morning it’s a good option. It’s nothing fancy, but it wasn’t rundown either.
- 5/5
Loved
- 5/5
Nice and spacious and cheap
- 5/5
Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great.
- 5/5
Great place great staff
- 2/5
Very bad quality beds and pillows
- 2/5
Not very good, no dark curtains in the room.
- 5/5
My only complaint was the three hot food items didn't change four out of five days and one of the hot food options was gravy all four of those days. It's hard to complain when you provide such a variety of breakfast options, so thank you for keeping up with so much variety and keeping it stocked. The food was really good, and a perfect way to begin my day.
- 5/5
Check In was quick and professional. Room was spacious and clean. We woke up the next morning and went down the hall for breakfast. Was pleased to find real scrambled eggs. There was sausage gravy, but no biscuits to go with it. There was a pan of turkey sausage but the attendant took it away because it wasn't being heated. Got 2 cups of coffee from the hot pot. Then I went to get some French Vanilla creamer from the pump bottle and it was........ empty! Tried the hazelnut creamer next to it and it too was empty! Fresh oranges looked poor from the outside but was told they were sweet inside. Luckily we got the last 2 forks in the utensil tray. Saw another lady eating her scrambled eggs with a spoon!
- 4/5
We enjoyed pool & breakfast ok - good coffee - but room not very clean. It was convenient - didn’t walk around outside.
- 4/5
It was a bit noisy though (both outside noise and people in the corridors). Also there was just one lift which was also being used by housekeeping and in the morning it was a bit of a wait.
- 5/5
Unfortunately, our flight to Denver which was scheduled for the night of November 8, got canceled in the afternoon. So there was no way we could get to Denver that night. Our flight got rescheduled for the morning of November 9. Since we had booked the hotel through Expedia, I went to the Expedia app which gave me an option to contact the hotel. Dinah, the hotel manager, was sympathetic to our situation. She said we would get a refund for the night of November 8 since we couldn’t get there. I did follow up with her after we got home. She told me she had contacted Expedia who would need to process the refund. After I was able to contact Expedia, we finally did receive the refund, which we appreciated. The only complaint we have of the hotel was the breakfast. Although there was a good selection of food, the oven wasn’t working the day we had breakfast and the hot items were lukewarm. I assume this was an infrequent occurrence.
- 4/5
The not-so-good: squeaky bed, squeaky floors, no way to black out the window entirely. Overall, a decent place for a night.
- 4/5
A cookie on arrival:)
- 5/5
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Quiet hotel with full breakfast! Thanks.
- 5/5
Comfortable n clean
- 5/5
Excellent property. Excellent desk help. Enjoyed the area and its amenities. We were very close to our wedding venue and dining facilities. Loved staying here!!!
- 5/5
Great place and an excellent staff and breakfast bar.
- 5/5
Angelique was amazing!
- 5/5
This was nice. The price was a little too high but you are paying for the area.
- 5/5
Nice and comfortable.
- 5/5
We had an event at red rocks and this location looked to be perfect. Be aware though, traffic directors after the event dont let you take the most direct route to the hotel and it added about 15 minutes to our estimated arrival. Location still was not bad. Pool was warm, hot tub was functioning. Food was what you would expect for a lobby breakfast. Room was clean and quiet.
- 5/5
Easy check in, great price and wonderful breakfast. By far the best hotel we stayed at during our Colorado trip.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 5/5
Very convenient for going to Red Rocks. Safe and quiet property. Will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
I would rate this hotel higher if I could! Everything was excellent! Fantastic breakfast!

- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious. Check in was smooth and front desk employee was friendly.
- 4/5
Great spot to see a show at Red Rocks. The room was not what we ordered (KING), but we were happy none the less.
