Best Western Southwest Little Rock

The day shift desk manager was super sweet. She was super friendly at check-in and check-out. There was an issue that I reported to her, which the night shift desk manager didn't attempt to fix. She was apologetic and offered to correct the situation. We were finished with the business that brought us to town, so we didn't need the extra night we originally booked. She refunded the extra night along with a discount. The air conditioner in the room did not work. The refrigerator leaked. There was a towel in there to try to collect the water. The towel was completely soaked so it is unknown at how fast the refrigerator was leaking. The faucet in the bathroom sink was super loose and the drain was clogged. I reported all this to the evening shift desk manager. He did not try to offer a new room. He simply said "ok, I'll let them know."

The biggest problem was the room temperature. Due to preset thermostat limits, we were unable to get the room any cooler than 71 degrees, which made it uncomfortable and overly warm at night—especially for our boys after being outside playing baseball all day. The next morning, we also ran into issues with the breakfast area. Several of the machines were not working properly, which prevented us from getting a full breakfast as was expected. Overall, between the room temperature issues and the problems with breakfast service, this stay did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, we will not be staying at this hotel again in the future.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Good solid place to stop and rest during a long distance road trip. No frills no problems.

The only suggestions I can make for this hotel is, they should tell their guest that they have to come through a side door because they lock the lobby door at 11:00 PM and they should also mention they have a 100$ incidental charge.

On my way to NJ from dallas, stayed for a night at BW, for the price I found this hotel comfortable for stay, nicely kept non smoking rooms and quiet neighbourhood. Breakfast is a quick grab and go, staff overall friendly and efficienct.

There was a great full breakfast, it was quiet, and the lobby staff was wonderful. Rooms could have been cleaner. We found items in the fridge and drawers, and there was no toilet paper in our me of our bathrooms. Otherwise everything was pretty good

In order to get fresh towels you must travel to the lobby with your soiled wet towels because they are improperly staffed. While the maids were appropriate, all other staff were rude and undesirable overall.

The hotel was better than expected. Erica at the front desk was probably the most helpful and kind hotel clerk we’ve ever met. She treated us like guests in her home. EV charging was easy and worked well

great stay overnight

Staff and check in went well. When parking found the parking lot with a large amount of litter. This could have been the fault of other guests but looked to be there for a few days. Pillows were very uncomfortable.

Pool was not in order. Good free breakfast

Swimming pool was covered with a tarp & out of use…disappointing in Summertime!

We were on a road trip and it was really convenient. Staff were nice, check in smooth, they also provide us with complimentary tooth paste that we forgot to bring.

Tried to Switch to a Better BEST WESTERN Hotel; without any Success or Feedback from Expedia for over 4 hours. Chairs in the Room were Nasty and to Uncomfortable and Small to Sit In? Location had Bedbug Infestation. Itched ALL NIGHT LONG? MISERABLE Stay. 😖

Worst stay I’ve ever had. Upon checking in we were given a key to a room that already was occupied. To say it was awkward is an understatement.

The hotel and the area look extremely shady. A rundown nonfunctioning pool. Nowhere to go to to eat. A burned down car in the parking lot. Shady individuals snooping around. Scary people with ankle monitors talking to themselves. People arriving and sitting in their cars throughout the night and day. I recommend driving further to Hot Springs. This is one of the worst hoods you’ll ever see. If the parking area would have some kind of a gate, then it’d make it slightly better. The room also had this greasy smell, but was otherwise decent. Don’t go if you are female or alone.

Have stayed here for a few years now, every time we go to Texas. It has gone downhill since last year. We had ants in the room, mainly bathroom. Bed is too soft and pillows are just as bad.

It is close to highway and very convenient.

The rooms were clean, the amenities that were advertised were not in service. The afternoon office manager is very sweet and tries to do everything she can to make your stay comfortable.

Location was convenient enough. Easy access to the highway and a gas station. It's not the most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in, but it wasn't bad. The specific room we stayed in needed a little maintenance. I recommend bringing your own shampoo, etc, if you stay here, they only have the tiny bottles rather than the big ones some other hotels have.

The service was excellent. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Unfortunately, the smell of cigarette smoke bothered my asthma; smoke detector had been covered with a plastic bag to allow guests to smoke in the room. This was not mentioned at point of check-in.

The bed is hard. Everything else is average for the hotel.

Front desk employee who checked me in was very nice. Room was clean and comfortable except for the bathtub faucet dripping all night. Elevator was dirty when I arrived and even dirtier in the morning. Breakfast was nice except for manager arguing with a guest about them taking their breakfast to their room.

Hotel is good! We stay here all the time as it is a halfway point to Austin, TX. Overall it is good, great breakfast, clean rooms and friendly staff!

AMAZING fitness room; with multiple pieces of equipment, benches and free weights. Expecting a nice breakfast that includes eggs and other hot food.

We knew it wasn’t the best hotel from reading the reviews but it was very close to where we were going and it was only for one night. If you’re planning to stay longer than a night and actually want to enjoy your stay for what you pay, stay somewhere else.

Everything seemed outdated

Overall stay was okay. We had to change to a different room because the AC didn't work. The second room the AC worked, but had a faint stale cigarette smell. The room was clean and bed comfortable, was able to get a good night's sleep.

When we got there we were amazed at how clean our room was and Donna left a nice note… I would give Donna a raise 😊 She did and exceptional job on hoe clean the room was.. Thank you Donna for your care for the room.. overall we had a wonderful experience staying there.

The people working were terrific. The room was for handicapped yet was so small we had a hard time not bumping into furniture. There is no way a wheelchair would get around.

Had a late check in about 11pm , took 15 to 20min to get a room key. Get to the room, bed was undone, personal items from 3rd party were still in the room. Not sure if it was in use or not. Went back down stairs, ran in to a couple who had the same exact issue. I waited another 30 to 40min to get a different room. Was told it be nice & quiet, but Was given a room with high foot traffic & next to a side entrance. Impossible to get much needed rest. Night Receptionist advised would leave a note to the manager to compensate somehow, but when checking out there was no notes on the issue. Morning Receptionist advised I may get a call from a manager but didnt promise anything as I didnt book directly with them. Regardless of who I booked thru, expectations are a clean room for a reservation done in advance. We will keep driving next time or stay in different hotel.

Rooms smell poorly ventilated which is very important with Covid risk. Breakfast ran out very quickly.

Between our “nonsmoking room” smelling intensely like cigarette smoke, the smoke detector being disconnected with the battery hanging out, the lack of a trash can anywhere in the room, the air conditioner being way to small to keep the room a decent temp and a homeless woman approaching my husband in the parking lot warning him about a huge group of sketchy people loitering in the back of the hotel, I think it’s safe to say we won’t be back. Very friendly staff though!
