    Some furniture were old and broken. The sofa needs to be replaced or deep cleaned. Did not make a great impression on the esthetic. The lights were not too bright and the shower curtains are too short for the tub that the water all over the floor. However the hotel has potential to be greater.

    The Ladies behind the desk were helpful and sweet. Got here as part of our halfway trip to NC and arrived around 11pm. Didn't swim or use any of those amenities. Did love the dove shampoos/ conditioners/ lotions. 1: took at least 10 minutes for anyone to come to the front desk to check me in. 2: checked in and discovered our floor beside the closet with the air unit was soaked. So far these are just small inconveniences. 3: Change rooms and after settled in and kids are in bed, I take my shoes off and discover the carpet feels like it was washed but was not rinsed....kinda soapy and a little sticky. Not sure if we tracked this onto the tile or if it already existed, but the tile was sticky. It's after midnight and kids are in bed. We will deal. 4: we walk into the building and it has to be 75°, elevator about 78°. Set the temp down to 70. Get up 45 mins later and room reads 72, turn it down more, wake up an hour later, gauge reads 73. Drop the gauge to 60°. At 4am it might have gotten to 70°. 5: I choose a place for the hot breakfast. Holiday Inn has always been a sure bet for me...until now. Coffee makers wouldn't work. 6: OJ was bad 7: Whole milk was bad. Told the worker this and she took it to the back. Refilled my cup and tasted and appears she just filled it up. Maybe she didn't understand what I said. My facial expression I would have thought, would have clearly explained as well as my words. No coffee in rooms. Ladies did Keurig each of us 1 cup before we left.

    The staff was great! Shout out to India and the lady working with her. The property is under construction so it is dirty but our floors had something nasty all over them. The rooms feel very sterile. The breakfast was lacking. Too expensive for the experience.

    We had no maid service no room cleaning was done they supplied us with 2 additional towels The air conditioning unit was broken in room 114 and the floor by the window was saturated wet I use two towels and a plastic bag to help be able to get into the closet near the saturated floor from the air conditioning unit it was reported we were never offered a different room, and the problem was never addressed or repaired

    Breakfast The fact that I’m still waiting on my deposit refund for any damages. It’s going on a month now. I’ve called and keep telling me to wait for my bank. Room was not ready when we arrived. Had to go straight to the concert looking a hot mess then checked in to room late that night.

    The breakfast was alright. My family is total strict vegetarian; there was no protein on the bar for us, i.e., no soy sausages; no tofu; no raw almonds or cashews. There other food was ok; 1) Upon checking in with our son who is multiple disabled, we were told that the handicapped room we thought we had was not available. So, he did not bathe for four nights, except for wash--ups from the sink because my husband could not pick him up and put him into the bathtub. 2) we relied on the microwave more than we usually do, and for four days, after each time of starting the thing, it locked. At first, I did not know that there was an unlock button on the thing, and the front desk worker did not either (he stated as such). He said that the maintenance person had already left for the dayy; eventually, the thing unlocked by itself, and I'd use it again -- only to have it lock again. AFTER EACH USE, THE THING LOCKED. Finally, my husband found the unlock key ; that made it better, but four days of having to unlock the thing after each use was the pits. 3) I complained about the dim light in the center of the ceiling. I really needed more light than what was presented each night. It was very depressing to not have a more vibrant light bulb in the ceiling The manager said that the light was dim on purpose. We were not able to function as well as we would have with a more watted center light. 4) I tried to register to be a member of the Holiday Inn club, so that I could get credit for the days we spent there -- I have yet to receive an email or notice that the registration went into effect, even after the front clerk helped me register... 5) when we settled for a non-disability room, the first room smelled soo bad --sort of like a wet animal might smell, and/or a pungent child who had not bathed after going to play outside..... I couldn't stand it, so, we asked to be placed into another room. That request was granted. However, the entire second floor hallway actually STANK. We asked for consideration on the bill, but were refused because we used a third-party to book. Our bad!

    Property is in final stages of renovation which shows well. Excellent job! Bed was very comfortable and staff was great. Only issue was seating in our room was poor. Expected a couch and the office chair was very uncomfortable.

    Every thing was great. The breakfast was delicious and the lady who was on duty for the breakfast attendant the day I stayed there was so very helpful with all that I needed.     Safety hazards. Dirty nasty filthy rooms. When I raised a concern, I didn’t feel like I was being heard by the general manager. The rest of the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The general manager does not need to be the general manager, unless he can solve the problem. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn express ever again. This was THE absolute worst day I’ve ever had at any hotel I’ve ever stayed out in my entire 40 years of life. The general manager wrote me a three sentence email to my four point statement email. Did not offer me a resolution. He blamed it on renovations. Again, I will never stay at a Holiday Inn express ever. Clearly they don’t care about their guest. The milk at breakfast was expired, and I took a drink and got nothing but curdled milk in my mouth. Still no concern was taken seriously.

    No my experience was horrible I prepaid my registration and got to hotel and front desk said they had no room available. so we had to take a room with no heat and no air 418. Then had to be switch from that room because someone had taken a shower and laid in bed. Was then put in another room 416 with no heat and air, had to be given extra blankets to be keep warm. The following morning I was assigned to a new room 219, room was clean and had heat/air but when I went to turn on the water in bathroom sink the faucet fall off it my hand. Manager wouldn't call had to speak to him via email. Staff was nice but would not go back or recommend

    There was a small cockroach in our room very early sunday morning. I showed more than one picture to front desk staff. The general manager was supposed to call me so i can send the pictures.. I havent heard anything. Ive called two days since then, and only got someone on the phone once who said I would receive a call from the GM, that I still havent received.

    Staff was very friendly and helpful. Elevator ground and jolted at second floor to the point we were scared and used stairs. Other guests were experiencing the same thing. Front desk said he was calling manager immediately Rooms were dated, carpet had bleached spots and in rough condition, molding was missing in spots and chair was broken. Very nice people working there, but because of the condition of hotel I would not stay again.

    This was the worst stay ever 😩 The hotel was really worn down and you could smell the mold. The breakfast was horrible the orange juice and apple juice was rancid. The second morning there wasnt any coffee; by the afternoon the hotel did not have any running water for 4 hours and the wjole hotel smelled of raw sewage. I was physically sick 😫 This hotel needs to be demolished.

    There was damage behind toilet. Shower curtain rod was coming loose and wouldn't hold curtain. Pool was extremely dirty, cloudy and leaves on bottom. There were 4 of us in room yet every day they would leave 3 clean towels and 1 wash cloth. When we called for more they said we had to come downstairs to get them.

    WE STAYED 2 NIGHTS AT THIS HOTEL., THE FIRST NIGHT WAS OK. BREAKFAST WAS OK. THE SECOND NIGHT DID NOT GO WELL. ABOUT MIDNIGHT, MY WIFE FELT SOMETHING CRAWLING ON HER, AND SHE KINDA SCREAMED AND SMASH IT WITH THE SHEET. IT WAS A BED BUG. i CALLED AND REPORTED THIS TO THE FRONT DESK AND REQUESTED A DIFFERENT ROOM. MY WIFE WANTED TO PACK UP AND LEAVE RIGHT AWAY. SHE WAS GOING TO SLEEP IN THE CAR IF THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY MORE ROOMS AVAILABLE. THEY WERE ABLE TO FIND ANOTHER ROOM ON THE 4TH FLOOR AND THAT ROOM HAD A VERY STRONG MUSTY ODOR SMELL AND MY WIFE WAS NOT HAPPY , SO WE ASK FOR ANOTHER ROOM AND THEY FOUND ANOTHER ROOM ON THE 2ND FLOOR AND THE TOILET DID NOT FLUSH AND MY DAUGHTER SAW A ROACH THAT MORNING IN THIS ROOM AND THIS WAS LIKE 2AM IN THE MORNING. WE WERE NOT HAPPY WITH THE EXPERIENCE AT THIS HOTEL. THE MANAGER WAS NOT IN, THE FRONT DESK CLERK TOOK OUR COMPLAINT AND CELL PHONE NUMBER SO THE MANAGER COULD CALL US. SHE WAS DUE TO COME IN AT 3PM.     Audrey our check in person absolutely amazing personality and customer service however, could only go with what was in the system. No details noted referring to ground floor room. I confirmed days prior and was told ground floor was available. Room availability was 4th floor or 2nd. In the end we went with the 2nd flr room for 7 days. My Mom was too tired to shift to another room and decided to do stairs. It was inconvenient and taxing for her at 84. The room was nice. Breakfast not much variety like other Holiday Inns we have stayed at previously.

    The room was ok a/c would only cool it to 72’ there was no ice machines on 2nd 3rd and 4th floors and no vending machines either. Pool was drained and out of service. The pictures online appeared to be way better than it really is.

    We are a traveling band and bring our instruments in. When we arrived at 12:30AM we were informed that the elevator was broken. That, and our rooms were on the fourth floor. We we had to lug all our stuff up four flights. On the way up we saw a chicken bone, a piece of bacon and fruit loops. Then, when we get to the room the air conditioner was not working. I called down and the person behind the desk was super nice and changed our room. But I still had trek down and up the stairs again.

    Very unprofessional customer service. Wasn’t any towels or washcloths in our room. Hotel receptionist said they will be right up with the towels. No one never came. I had to go downstairs and retrieve the towels.

    We’re usually okay with it stay here however this time around it wasn’t giving top tier like it used to. When we checked in we were told the elevator hadn’t been working for a week and that it was down. We still checked in because we were tired from driving 12 hrs and then was placed on the 4th floor with children and an elder with a hip replacement only to get to our room and it was patched up. It’s like they just stopped caring altogether.

    The bathroom was filthy! The shower was leaking, and the toilet wasn’t flushing correctly. The curtain rod was ripped, preventing one from drawing the curtains. Basic supplies like toilet paper and towels were scarce.

    The best part about this stay was the staff who were friendly and kind. But the elevator was broken and should be fixed next day. We stayed 3 nights and no elevator. We were asked to sign that elevator was out and I did yet requested at least one night discount if not. There were stains on our sheets, the toilet paper roll was broken and the rear exit doors were zip tied. When we inquired we were told they had enough exits per fire marshall.

    The lock on my door would not lock unless you pulled up hard on the handle. Most small framed people would not of been able to get the door to latch. I showed the staff and they told me they had a ticket in to fix the door but obviously are still renting the room out. They did not tell me there was an issue with the door before I checked into my room. Glad I noticed as I was going out to eat dinner when I did notice the door did not latch when I closed it

    The hotel was great, breakfast was great, staff was great. Only thing is I reserved three rooms, paid in advance (three weeks ahead). Upon my arrival after a seven-hour trip, they only had two rooms available, forcing me to seek for another room elsewhere. Not sure what the disconnect was, but that part was frustrating.

    How disappointing. We had our vehicle broken into. By the time we checked out of the hotel, no one had shared that our vehicle windows had been busted out by a gang searching for guns in random vehicles around the area. We were informed by a groundskeeper that some cars had their windows busted out and mine was one of them. We spoke with an Officer with Dekalb County Sheriffs Office who had also not reached out to any guests regarding our property. He poorly explained his process and that he completed the reports and gave me a card to get a copy of the police report. When speaking to the slovenly behemoth of a general manager who fancy’s herself a lady, she lazily sat on top of the file cabinets literally twiddling her thumbs and curtly answered each question asked. When asked about camera footage she said she hadn’t seen it yet. At this point it is Noon and we know the vehicles were broken into between 2:00 AM and 5:00AM and that there was a series of dodge chargers filled with thugs. She did not offer any concession not even an apology. I previously stayed at this hotel the week before and my bag with my AirPods went missing and she was of no help. I literally checked out of the hotel and realized I left my bag. I could clearly see it was still in the room. She refused to do a walkthrough, put me on hold did not comeback to the phone. She argued me down about her housekeeper not stealing it,who said that? She said it was never returned. will never stay with Holiday Inn

    It was an amazing day! Considering the reasons why we were staying there, the facility made us very comfortable and very pleased and content with everything happening around us. It was convenient through the highway, and it was close to my family and a shopping mall with the food court. Although the mall is somewhat dead, the rest of everything else is amazing because there are also amazing fake parts in walking. Will definitely stay again.

    I have stayed at this hotel for years as a place to rest for a 9 hour drive. When we arrived hours after check in room was not ready, the bed was not made. Nothing was offered as an apology. For breakfast there was only cranberry juice , with the exception of coffee) as an option, no cinnamon buns ( always my favorite) no milk, only fat free syrup for pancakes , one flavor yogurt. The hostess kept refilling the cereal and no milk!sadly after over 9 years of visiting and recommending this will be my last time :-(

    It was dirty! The breakfast was half way cooked along with no pancakes machines working for the first 2 days. Our AC wasnt working in our room come to find out we werent the only ones. Then the elevator wasnt working. We had dirty sheets on top of that so they changed our room. Lastly I was doubled charged for the room and im still waiting for my refund! Awful experience!!!!

    is unsafe theres people out in the parking lot late at night. Theres people smoking marijuana but dont know where its coming from. Breakfast is supposed to be on time not 20 to 30mins late. card key dont work most of the time so its so inconvenient. I went out the night before my last night there and when I camebck my card key didnt work several times bck and forth from main lobby to my room and clerk told me the maintence guy will be there til 6 to 7 am in the morning. I end up staying in another room had the same clothes I had on when I went out and when I woke because cnt get in my normal room. Me and my family will never come to this facility!!!!!

    Had to quickly find a hotel. Booked in advance at another location only to arrive and find it was too far away from the location of my venue. Wanted to be near Stonecrest Mall, but didn't see those hotels online when I initially searched. Anyway, a link was sent to me and I booked with another online service. Called the hotel and was told upfront that the elevator was not working. I asked how many stairs there were and the answer given gave me the impression that there were few stairs. So I booked a reservation. Arrived at the hotel. They only had available rooms on the 3rd & 4th floors. Fortunately, I was on the 3rd floor, which entailed 40 steps. Btm line? 4 room changes later, I was on my way to sleep. Popcorn outside & inside 1st room. Unpacked & put on pjs.. thinking I could just use a hotel vacuum /broom and dust pan, but staff was not able to locate one; 2nd room, AC not cooling at 50 degrees when I entered the room plus AC was making clanging noises; 3rd room, toilet unflushed & tissue-filled; back to 1st room per front desk. She vacuumed the inside and I vacuumed the entry way. No one wants to enter a hotel room thinking it may not have been cleaned. My cousin previously told me to cancel and stay with her; however, I was mentally tired; needed time alone to reset. Had a few back door entrance/steps safety concerns; slept and showered comfortably. I CHOSE positive thoughts over complaining. Basic needs were met. I asked for a discount; was told "No". Breakfast fine.

    This hotel stay was very disappointing/below standards for the Holiday Inn Express. At check-in; unfriendly clerk, carts all had wheels falling off/not working, hallways were dirty, there was a terrible loud rattling noise coming from above our room (assume the roof) all night - never ended until 7:00 AM (we were too tired to go ask for a new room). No coffee in the am(they were out of filters!!!!), no milk for cereal, no pancake machine. Cinnamon roles half frozen or/and dried out -overcooked. Computer/printer for customers didn't work. Unfriendly hotel manager. I would not recommend.

    I was disappointed with my recent hotel stay due to several issues. First, the elevator was out of service, which was inconvenient and frustrating, especially when carrying luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Additionally, I found the staff to be unprofessional and rude, which only added to my dissatisfaction. So much so that a complaint was filed with Guest Services. Their lack of courtesy, customer service, and assistance made my experience less enjoyable, and I expected a much higher standard of service.
