    The hotel was undergoing renovations when I stayed and were testing out the fire alarms which went on over 2 days and even in the mornings however otherwise it was a very pleasant stay.

    I was worried after reading the recent reviews but ended up pleasantly surprised. Yes, there was still minor construction/renovations going on but everything was accessible and the rooms looked great. The beds and pull-out couch were comfortable. The rooms were spacious. I wasn’t a huge fan of having the sink and mirror outside of the actual bathroom but oh well. Breakfast was great considering what we paid for the room. I liked the hard boiled eggs (vs fake scrambled). They also had waffles, yogurt, fruit, sausages, muffins, bagels etc. It would have been nice if the room had been set up for 3 people (our booking had 3 adults listed but we only had 2 towels and no blanket/pillow for the pull-out).

    The AC in the entire hotel was running but it was only pushing out hot air it was extremely hot humid and muggy in the hotel and rooms in elevated panels are falling off the walls and rattle really loudly and scary as if the elevator was gonna stop between floors the hotel looks as it appears to be under construction and there's no carpeting in the lobby people or guest smoking in the entry way as you walk into the hotel now I smell like smoke and that's disgusting had I know all of this I would have never booked this hotel at all

    Some construction going on inside the property but other than that it was nice. Rooms were spacious. Could have used more towels and easier than just the 3rd or 4th floor for ice. Breakfast was typical. Nothing fancy. Overall, would stay here again for the price.

    Latoya checked us in and she was wonderful. She followed through with everything and was very patient with us. She is a keeper! Room was clean, however, the beds were too close to a/c unit and wall unit on the other side. You have to slip down the bed to get out when both beds are being used. Parking was easy and accessible. We were able to enjoy the coffee but had to leave early to catch flight out, breakfast was not used but I 'm sure it was fine. We will use this hotel again, noting the easy distance from airport use and other travel. Thank you

    Parking was plentiful and lighting was good. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Room was well laid out. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Great water pressure in shower. Breakfast I gave 4 stars only because I am not an egg person, so I hoped for pancakes or French toast. The breakfast potatoes were delicious. They had fruit, cereal, yogurt, toast, muffins, juice. We would definitely stay again.

    Hotel is infested with ants, front desk staff said they would send someone up to spray aka raid spray the corners. The other woman at the front desk said they know they have an ant issue but they won’t get an exterminator to fix it. “Under construction” just means it can be a mess & not have to clean it. worst hotel i have ever stayed at & will never choose a hyatt again

    The A/C working was the only thing. First room right off the bat, had hair in tub and A/C didn’t work, called front desk, they moved me. Second room, all was fine until I inspected the linen on the bed, the side of the bed sheet had rips on it. I was not moving again. And I did not like the fact of paying for parking. $5.00 per night. I feel all hotel parking should be free with your stay.

    Hyatt hotel stay was perfect! The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was decent. The only mishap was that they were doing a little renovation in the lobby and the pool wasn’t open, but other than that everything was great. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very quiet. Even with the renovations going on, we didn’t hear any noise at all unless you went downstairs to the lobby. Great place to stay, the area is very quiet, and food places are only about a 5-minute drive away.

    The website said that the hotel is under renovation and it did not lie. The entrance and lobby are a construction zone. You have to enter from the back. Check in is a person sitting at a desk in the back hallway. The grounds are not being maintained. Only one elevator is in use. However, once you get past all of that, the rooms are spacious and clean.

    When I checked in, I was sent to a room type different than my reservation. When I returned to the desk, only then was I was then given the room in accordance with my reservation. There was a large group of pre-teen girls staying in a room directly across from my room. They played in the hall, running, making noise, and slamming the room door on Saturday and Sunday. I complained to the front desk, but the noise level did not diminish. The breakfast was average. There are renovations taking place so construction material and debris was outside and inside on the first floor. In fact, my rental car was covered with white flecks when I checked out. This was not a good stay at all.

    The room was terrible though. The cistern lid (toilet) was on the toilet seat when I got in the room. I put it back, but the flush was broken, so that wasn't great. The room was at 80 degrees so I went to change the AC unit, but all the buttons were broken off. I was able to change the temperature with some fiddling, but not great. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty. In general the property is very tired and not maintained.

    The entire property was freezing cold, from the front desk to the rooms. When we turned on the heat in our rooms, it smelled like burning plastic. There was chaotic construction all around the property and it was a mess. Multiple room doors were left wide open and I questioned our safety. only half the staff is friendly.

    I thought Hyatt Place was a trusted establishment known for professionalism and cleanliness— sadly I was mistakenly wrong. After booking, I called to confirm the shuttle run times and was told it runs every 30 minutes 24 hours a day; the front desk also told me there may be some traffic but the driver is headed to baggage claim now. Due to the design of baggage claim and where hotel shuttles pick up— i found myself outside waiting for a van “that was on its way” for 45-1 hr. The hotel is less than 2 miles away mind you. I had a hard time believing the driver was stuck in traffic because I saw several other vans from different hotels come and go TWICE while standing outside waiting in subzero temperatures. Once I got to the hotel, I was told they no longer had the room I reserved which was a 1 bed king. I asked if there would be any compensation for this situation. The front desk guy then told me he would see when the people who handle that come in “later” and would email me. so I went to the room. Immediately upon entering, I saw a bug crawling on the wall toward me. I immediately gathered my things and returned to the front desk. I told the man I saw a bug in my room, I won’t be staying, and I’d like a refund. No refund occurred and I never received any follow up information from the hotel. There’s so much more that happened just not enough space.

    I stayed just to avoid driving home because I was super tired. However, my car was parked directly outside the front door and was broken into between six and 6:30 in the morning and all of my personal items were stolen out of my vehicle when I asked the front desk to call the police. They refused and stated that they could give me the number to the nonemergency police department. Also, I asked if they had cameras, and they told me that my car was parked directly outside the parameters of the camera, which I find hard to believe being that I was right outside of the front door the staff was not accommodating and not sympathetic at all and when I asked to the front desk associate if he heard my alarm going off, he said he did not. I was on the third floor and there’s no way the front desk person should not have been able to hear the coral alarm going off when they were much closer to the vehicle than I was.

    Rooms were clean and the lady that ran front desk was the sweetest wish I remembered her name but she checked us in. Breakfast was great as well my only suggestion would be to have coffee out throughout the day mainly with its being cold other than that it was great we enjoyed our stay. Oh our sink was clogged up as well.

    Chose this hotel for the Army/Navy game 12/2025 because it was recently renovated. Friendly staff and new, clean room. Staff told us to take their free shuttle to airport to take light rail ($2) directly to M&T Stadium. When returning, free shuttle brought us back to our hotel. Breakfast was hot, but just. Amenities were good.

    I requested connecting rooms because I traveled with kids. When I arrived they said they didn’t have that available. They gave me two rooms down the hall from eachother and advised me that the person who confirmed my request was fired for drinking on the job which has nothing to do with me. The hotel smelled of smoke, no accommodation just horrible

Had this happened while we were out, they could have rifled through our belongings. Hence the 2 star rating.

    The property itself is decent, and the staff is very kind. However, I encountered an inconvenience: they had no water bottles available at the moment. For me, access to water is just as important as having a bathroom; it is a physiological necessity. While my overall experience wasn't terrible, this situation definitely had a negative impact on it.

    WE HAD A 9:30AM FLIGHT WE. WE DOWN BY 5 OF 6 BREAKFAST STARTS AT SIX . WE WERE THE ONLY ONES THERE. AND THE DRIVER RUSHED US. SO NO TIME TO GRAB BREAKFAST. AND NOT VERY FRIENDLY I MUST SAY.     My stay was 12 days. During that time the breakfast menu hardly changed. I chose Hyatt Place because I had a great experience at your SLC property. Breakfast was themed every day and changed so as not to be boring to long stay guests. Not so here. Boring, boring, boring. Additionally I had to ask for a room cleaning after 5 days and the room was obviously missing furniture as the room had many open spaces. I realize the hotel is undergoing renovations, but that shouldn’t affect my concerns. Next time I’ll look closer at Holiday Inn Expess.

    They charged a $100 fee at check in, was told money goes back on my card after check out. Here it is 2 days later and still money is not back on my card. Room was decent, but sliding glass door for shower was broken.

    Room appeared newly updated and was clean. We experienced an issue where our AC was not working and the room was 75 degrees. After contacting front desk staff, they attempted to fix it but were unable. They gave us a fan and told us there were no available rooms to move to. They told us they’d have someone fix it for the following night. The next morning the staff was unaware of our issue but stated they’d have it fixed during the day. When we returned that evening, the next staff was unaware of our issue again. There appeared to be lack of communication between front desk members when shifts switched. Luckily, our AC was fixed for that second evening.

    However, we said okay, but in saying that we were told that the first floor had not been renovated but other floors were. We walked down the hall and the carpet going to the room was a mess, all raveled up, I thought it was a mouse on the floor. Our room was 102 and a huge stain greeted us coming in. In addition, there were other stains.(pictures willl be attached) the sofa seat had stains, we weren’t comfortable sitting on. I had asked my husband to call the front desk to see if they sold candy bars. He said bae there is no dial tone. So if my cellphone was not working and there was an emergency……… We always strip the bed to make sure no bedbugs and it’s clean, however, on the cover on top of the mattress, there were two hairs, the bottom of the bed where the entire mattress lays on was dirty. The fitted sheet that was the bed was torn. Who puts a torn sheet on a bed for a guest to sleep on. (Picture attached) The front desk knew that the first floor was not meant for guests to stay, she said that if it was up to her, guests would be checked from 3 floor to the six floor. That means the first and second floors were not appropriate for guests to stay. This was a 3 star hotel that I will never stay in again or refer to anyone.

    Very close to Airport. Beautiful room with room to move around with luggage. Liked that it had a couch with mini table to enjoy coffee. I would definitely stay again when in Baltimore.

    We have been staying at this hotel for a number of years whenever we were flying out of BWI. Until our last visit it has always been fine. After we checked in I called the desk to ask for an extra blanket. The clerk said I would have to come down to pick it up which was fine. I identified my room number over the phone. I left my wife in the room. In the time it took for me get downstairs the clerk gave another traveler keys to our room. He opened to door to our room, surprising my wife and himself. He apologized and went back to the front desk. He was checking in when I called for the blanket. I said I was in room X and the clerk still gave this other traveler a key to that same room at the same time! On top of that incident this hotel has been under construction for at least 2 years with no end in sight. We will be finding a new hotel for our pre-travel stays in the future. One good thing, they have nice towels.

    I like the convenience to airport, very close. Staff was amazing. However, the room itself, was awful. Floors dirty, bathtub was old abd stained, sink faucet was leaking snd room so musty and the smell of ilegal drugs awful.

    Great stay at this hotel. Location close and convenient to the airport and the city. Rey nice staff. Very clean room. Quiet. Felt safe, had staff around at all times to make sue guest were accommodated. And they also had an airport shuttle. Excellent stay. Would definitely recommend and plan to stay next trip.

    Although this was a very Disappointing stay, there were two good experiences. The young lady who check me in was super friendly ti me and others checking in around the same time. Anithet staff member immediately addressed issues with the microwave, no shower gel, and explained why the water was off during the day. It was turned on thereafter. Otherwise, other staff were not friendly at all. Most walked pass in the hall without any greeting. The older male front desk worker during my stay from 8/17 to 8/ 22 flat out refused to extend me a late check out and made no inquiry as to if I was having an issue, an emergency or a rewards member. As a matter of mention, Mohammad cut me off as I was approaching the front desk. I was disappointed to see that he was actually an employee as I thought he was just a rude guest. The 6th floor hall trashcan was not emptied and smelled for two days. The internet service is extremely poor. I did not have the benefit of watching a full movie at any time during my four day stay as the service was constantly interrupted, freezing, and shutting down. The following morning of checking in, I realized there was no shower gel. When housekeeping arrived to refill, which should have been done prior to my arrival, a man and a lady both stood in the shower with their shoes on, and did not clean the shower before leaving the room. Hot water was also not available during the late evenings.

    Hotel is in the middle of renovations. Can't wait to see what it looks like afterwards. Even with all the issues (pool closed, only one working elevator) the staff here was so friendly and professional that I would book this hotel just for this staff!

    The room was clean, which we appreciated, but we were only provided with two washcloths and three towels for five people. I had to go downstairs to request more, which the staff did provide. A bigger issue was that the shower gel dispenser was completely empty, which we didn’t realize until we were about to shower. When my son went to the front desk, he was told housekeeping had left and no one could help. I had to follow up myself, and while the staff eventually gave us mini facial bars so everyone could bathe, the delay was frustrating. Despite these issues, we had a great night out. The hotel’s location is ideal, and the easy check-in/out process made everything more convenient. Overall, this hotel has potential, with friendly staff and a clean space, but attention to detail and responsiveness need improvement for a more consistent and comfortable guest experience.

    Our room was filthy. The sofa was so bad with spots, oils, and dirt that we could not sit down on it, at all. The carpet has spots that it was impossible to go barefoot through the room. The entire room, floor and sofa needs to be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized

    Im currently at the front desk calling the police because someone keeps knocking on my kids door and running away same thing happening to another customer.     Unbelievable that this hotel in two plus year going through renovations they have not been able to get hotel at Hyatt standards. Old bedding, dirty carpet (due to being old), sofa very stained. Would have never booked if I would have noticed it was the same from two years ago. As soon as you walk into lobby you can tell the quality of hotel. Shame on Hyatt for allowing this hotel to represent them.

    I only had cash and they refused me so I never received a room but the problem I was there at 2:30, 30 minutes before check in and I was not informed then. So I came back after 9:00 pm I didn’t have for plan b because everything was closed. So I had to sleep in the car. Booked through Expedia. Poor experience completely. I was there because I lost a love one. Kid as night mgt.

    Under construction and not mentioned. Room was clean, but everything else in the hotel was filthy! Space in room was awkward, hard to get around with 3 people. Bathroom needs updated, tons of chipping in tub. Only one working elevator and it was SLOW!! Front staff not attentive or friendly, on their phone. Breakfast looked like it was made in an easy bake oven, bacon was transparent looking. breakfast area was never cleaned up, food in the seats, coffee never refilled, breakfast never refilled even after asking (it was 7:45am).

    So far so good yeah you might find a stain here and there on the carpeting or trimming missing on the wall in the hall ,but keep in mind. It’s under renovation.Check in was smooth and easy. Luca at the front desk was very nice and friendly.. The free shuttle service was great. I literally only had to wait like two minutes before they arrived..I would definitely stay here again when in the area

    The property was adequate. we were only staying 1 night and that was almost too much- but we had a late arrival at 11pm. check out at noon was really smooth and generous. overall the property is rundown and dank and dark and kind of yucky even though the employees are doing the best with what they have. it isn't dirty, per say, just very dated and in DIRE need of a facelift. also basic standards- our couch had this disgusting stain on it that you noticed the second you opened the door- the cushion should have been totally removed if it couldn't be cleaned. would not stay here again and likely won't stay with another hyatt if their standards are so low.

    The property is undergoing construction however, there was a constant paint smell, rooms were very old and dirty, couch had stains. Bed was not even made up properly, no blanket, no comforter. I really hope the renovations make a difference. Not usually a picky person but cleanliness is a factor.

    The water in the room takes at least 1 hour to heat up. I had to wait an hour before I could wash my hands or shower. The toilet had hair all over it. I had to sleep in a sweltering hot room, due to the air conditioning unit being really loud to turn on. The WIFI was horrible. I could not Watch the television due to the service.

    My room had a weird smell and the room didn't seem like it was clean. We took out the sofa bed and the sheets looked dirty. We called the front desk for extra blankets and was told they would be there in 10 mins, only to not show up. The breakfast in the morning was decent and check in and check out was very easy.

    The carpets were dirty. The common area seating were decent but we could clearly see stains on the fabric sofas. The worst part was that on the pullout sofa bed, there were just too many oil stains. Black stains on the bathroom tiles. Broken grout. Dirty tub. Sloppy paint jobs around the hotel. Finishes were just bad. The staff was not so friendly. They looked tired to the point of getting rude if asked the question a second time. I would have given it better rating if the price matched the service and cleanliness. Unfortunately that wasn't the case
