I know that it is a busy and convenient location but the hotel is old and it is time for an update to change the smelly carpet and old, hard mattresses. We paid for and requested a double bed, but had to sleep in a king room with a pull out sofa. The staff was very helpful and apologetic and tried to place us in what were considered the best rooms available, but the room was outdated, the mattress was very old that you could feel all of the springs and the ac was on the Fritz. The ac temp could not be adjusted at all or the heat would come on, so the only temperature was ice cold. My mom and I each had 2 extra blankets and were still cold. It was just awful! Overall the decently cleaned rooms and the amazing staff made this a ok stay.

There is a restaurant and bar there with a very good bartender. The $9.95 breakfast buffet was delicious and well worth the money. They have a shuttle that will pick you up at the airport. This is a very nice place to stay.

We were instructed to switch rooms (3) different times. The first pet friendly room they gave us was unbeknownst to us. It was infested with dead & alive bugs!! I’m disabled! I have severe asthma & allergies. This stole time out our entire check-in day. “Briana” moved us to a smaller room with smaller beds. This room had NO working AC & ran brown water in the sink & shower faucets!. Horrible. We called “Ashley” & made the report around 8:00am. We were told to pack our things back up (we were unpacked a second time), she stated she’d be moving us to a third (3rd) room & would comp us a full refund but can’t give us a full refund bcuz there was a third party used for our reservations. We left to run errands & came back 5 hrs later to the SAME hot, little room. In addition to us trying to speak with managers, the repair man “Manuel” said No one TOLD HIM NOTHING about checking the AC unit. We had to get out the room. I then noticed a pair of my shoes were severely damaged! My shoes were a 50th birthday gift & were never ever worn. The bag they were in, smelled like urine! Highly unacceptable, disgusting & sickening. I prayed my family & I weren’t being retaliated on for making the complaints but, I fear I was too late. So inconvenienced!! We had to drag our cart full of heavy belongings, back down to the lobby & wait. I was in pain. We were late to the family function, we were in town for! This was the worst stay we’ve ever had at this location! We’ve stayed here for years!

The hotel staff were very helpful during my stay. I saved money by taking my rental car back during the day and Darrell from the hotel picked me up at Alamo. The convenience of being the closest hotel to the airport allowed us to leave a little later. The room was immaculate and spacious. I will stay here if traveling to Baltimore in the future.

Breakfast is always great too I will admit that I am hyper-aware of my surrounding and with that being said, the property could use some upgrades or just cosmetic work. shower head was out of the wall--the wall mount needs to be remounted. obvious stains on the couch (a fabric cleaning machine from olly's will work wonders and its affordable)--I used a towel to cover the office chair, it was visibly dirty. The fridge needs to be replaced--once the parts are cracked and you can see the inner workings of the fridge, its time to replace it. There was hair everywhere, I am aware that hair flies, but try the sticky things, they pick up a lot of hair and flying debris

Our room was clean, the property was clean, and the staff was really friendly. They were very helpful and always made sure we had what we needed. We had our dog with us and she was able to relax and have her own little vacation. It was easy to have her with us. Definitely would stay there again.

The hotel appeared clean and up to date. The front desk staff was nice and helpful. Only one elevator was working at the time of my stay. 24 hour shuttle to airport and close venues. (Must schedule ahead during certain hours.) Small restaurant on site. Good, low cost breakfast with hot and cold items onnthe buffet. I would stay here again, if in the area.

I loved my stay! Check in was easy, my room smelled so good when I walked in, it was quiet, my bed was comfy & the best part was the bar/restaurant. Food was good & inexpensive plus the bartender was great to talk to, I will be coming back when I’m in the area again!

The elevator was broken so guests had to use the stairs which is not easy with luggage. The key to our room didn’t work so I had to run down to the desk twice before staff finally came up and tried themselves to find it really wasn’t working like I said. We were put in a different room. We won’t be staying there again.

This hotel has a great restaurant so if you need a full meal up to 11pm at night, this is a great option. There’s lots of variety on the menu. No need to go anywhere off property. The breakfast looked really good, but we had a very early flight, so when you can’t partake of their free breakfast, they let you choose a drink & a snack from their little marketplace. The airport shuttle is FREE.

We stayed here twice on a road trip, on the way and back. Very spacious rooms and comfortable beds. There is some airplane noise as to be expected since it's so close to the airport, but it wasn't too loud or noticeable. Room was clean and had a bigger fridge than most hotels I've stayed at. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel supposedly provides a shuttle, which takes you to and from the airport. At this time, the weight lines at BWI airport are nearly 3 hours long. This makes the shuttle particularly important. The Hotel completely mismanaged the shuttle experience. They gave me wrong information which made me miss my shuttle. The employee who provided the wrong information Sherikha worked had to want to show me that she does not care about this at all. She was very blasé about the fact that I missed my shuttle and it was completely her fault. So missing the shuttle was a problem, but the attitude was a much bigger problem. I will never stay in that hotel again.

This property is exceptionally maintained and we were pleased to stay on two occasions. This property will be our go to stop when traveling via the Baltimore airport! The staff was professional and helpful. The food was good. And the rooms were clean and we were able to get a good nights sleep!

They have inadequate security they only have security cameras my husband's car was stolen right from in front of the hotel there was no way to deter it the cameras aren't available to the staff they're locked away in the manager's office we call the manager around 6:50 something in the morning she didn't show up till after 8:30 my husband's car was found later in the city stripped of everything I found it a pollen that there was no security guard I found it even scarier that someone could actually come in rob the place or harm someone inside and you will not see it coming as cameras are not available unless the manager is present. This poses a danger to the overnite staff working there as well. We were told that the hotel is nit responsible for any damages or loss of property as parking is at the customers risk. Please be aware that your $ is wrlcomed but you are responsible for the safety of your belongings and yourself.

Shuttle back to airport - scheduled it at checkin for 4:40 am. We arrive downstairs at 4:40 to be told we missed our shuttle and we should have been downstairs 10 minutes early. Next shuttle at 5. Around 4:50 shuttle arrived and driver quickly and rudely told us we missed our 4:40 and she did not have room for us at 5:00. We politely asked her if we should call Uber as we didn’t want to miss our flight and her smart remarks were very much unacceptable. Finally, after she loaded other passengers on the van she came back in and motioned for us to come on. Rooms were clean. Staff in restaurant were great and the food was as well. Shuttle was one of main reasons we chose this location and shuttle was huge disappointment and huge inconvenience. We are not accustomed to being treated so poorly by hotel staff.

Clean, quiet on a Saturday night, very friendly staff (front desk, restaurant, day & night shuttle drivers), and the food was great. Large portions. My teen ordered classic burger & French fries. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad. Neither one of us finished our dinner. If in town, I will stay here.

Location close to airport, convenient shuttles every 20 minutes. Staff was friendly. Bar and restaurant staff were overwhelmed and didn't get food out in some cases for over an hour or not at all. I had to walk across the street to the Marriott to eat.

The onsite restaurant was hectic bc of the short staff and large number of people waiting but the food was amazing. I was prepared to reduce a star due to the restaurant chaos but the taste of the food shut me up and I would add additional stars if possible. I would absolutely recommend. I don’t typically stay at Holiday Inns but that will change after such a positive experience at this location.

The “smart” tv wasn’t smart. There are very few vegetarian options and basically no vegan options for food. The wait for the restaurant was over an hour (which I know they can’t control). How would you like it if there were only three options for dinner and all of them were salad? Or some combination of cheese and a carb? It’s not that hard to have a beyond burger especially in this day and age and then the little “supermarket” had literally no meals that were vegetarian or vegan — expecting me to eat chips or other junk food for dinner or lunch? It’s just incredibly disappointing especially for an airport hotel that supposedly would serve people from all over the world and if my flight gets cancelled again I will probably choose somewhere else because of the lack of food options. When we arrived very late she was at the door greeting us and made us feel very welcome! Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Though, we didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the hotel due to time constraint, I did appreciate the mini fridge and the all the amenities. I also loved that there was a little shop that you could pick up snacks and drinks and things like Tylenol and such. I would definitely stay here again!

My stay was outstanding!!!! The staff was absolutely phenomenal and hospitable beyond words. From the shuttle driver to the hotel upon arrival to the shuttle driver to the rental car center for our departure, every staff member was so pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and perfectly accommodated our large family for our one night stay. The breakfast was great as well. I will definitely consider this hotel again for future trips.

We were greeted immediately by two very kind young women behind the desk. Check-in was fairly quick and easy. Our room was a good size and very clean. I was happy to see a microwave in the room because I didn’t see it listed on the website as an amenity. Our only disappointment was that breakfast wasn’t free. It cost $21 for two people, and the buffet was similar to a free continental breakfast at a Hampton Inn.

It is wonderful to be picked up at the front door and dropped off at your airline. Very convenient.

This was my second time staying here. Once again, I was impressed by the value of this hotel with pleasant staff, clean rooms and an airport shuttle. This time I was thrilled by the fantastic hot breakfast w healthy options to including boiled eggs, berries, and oatmeal with all the fixings. This lovely breakfast with ubpeat and attentive staff only cost $2 per person!

We booked this room specifically for transportation to the airport. We told the front desk clerk we needed the 4:40 am shuttle. We arrived at 4:30 to be told that the shuttle had already departed and that we had been scheduled for the 3:40 am shuttle.

The staff at the BWI holiday inn saved me after a very taxing day of airport delays. They were efficient and cheerful and from the moment I got on the van with Joe, my day improved dramatically. Taylor checked me in with humor and grace and my frustrations were over. The room was comfortable and clean. Good linens and pillows. Breakfast was above average for ten bucks and it was nice to actually have service in the morning. THANK YOU Holiday Inn BWI. Your positivity and warmth reminded me that flight delays don't have to be a total disaster!

It was our 11 year anniversary, so we weekend a weekend away from home

the hotel was clean and the staff was great. My only complaint was that there were no smart outlets to charge phone, ipads, etc. Good thing one of us had an old fashoined block adapter in our bag.

This is a very nice Holiday Inn. The area is located in is not the best but it is convenient to the airport, the restaurant was good, the restaurant staff was very good, and overall a good experience.

The airport shuttle was convenient and quick. The room was comfortable and clean. My only complaint was I was not informed of breakfast hours, nor were they posted in the room. I arrived to breakfast at 9:55 and turned away. There were no signs about the hours on the front desk, in the elevators, or in the rooms. Due to my flights the night before, I had no dinner. I was unable to eat lunch until 1:15 the next day, so I was a hangry traveler.

Trash was in our room when we walked in, pinkish red stain on towel. Emily from hotel texted me asking about my experience I shared with her multiple times that there was an issue about cleanliness. She didn’t try to address the situation, when I checked out she didn’t say a word. Her colleague asked how my experience was and to her surprise I said it was dirty but you guys already know, Emily smirked and still said nothing, shows us exactly how you guys really handle feedback. If she is the manager, hire whoever the guy who check me in was. I can’t remember his name I remember an earring, he was probably the best encounter I had. Can’t remember his name, younger person with an old soul, so polite to us. But after that it went down hill all I can say is I’m glad we had a bed to sleep in. That was about the only thing done in the room anyway, was a made bed. Wouldn’t stay here again sadly.

The evening staff in the dining room, Roc and Jada were very helpful and fun. They gave a lot of suggestions and we ended up overeating. The food is really good in the evening. The front desk staff was also very helpful and polite.

The property was clean and I felt safe in the area. It was very convenient to the airport. The food in the restaurant was also good, but the smell of old grease when you first enter the building and throughout all the floors was off-putting. Also the service in the restaurant was very slow...even though they weren't busy. But over all, I would definitely stay here again.

If I could change something it would be to have a refrigerator with a small freezer section so I could re-freeze my ice packs to use again the next day.

I had to pay for breakfast for a reason I do not comprehend and the free breakfast was one of the reasons I use the Holiday Inn.

Location is convenient to the airport and the hotel shuttle runs 24x7 which is good for early morning flights. Would have liked a drinking water dispenser to fill our water bottle. The elevator and hallways have a musty smell and could use some sprucing up.

The minute we walked in the door we were greeted by the staff behind the front desk. Very easy check-in. The room was cleaned and cozy! Needed help with the tv remote and right away Jason came to help us. Very pleasant, well dressed and well mannered gentleman! I thought it was so sweet they gave a treat bag for our dog. It was also very quiet! Very please and happy!

The hotel was clean and the staff were wonderful.

I was traveling with a pet and booked a "premium room" but was given a very old, dirty room. Not at all like the quality or condition described by other reviewers. The carpet was old and stained, the couch was stained and was worn (chewed?).

I can’t remember the name of the front desk staff member who checked us in, but she was wonderful. I also loved their shrimp tacos, and the shuttle bus drivers were all very friendly. My only complaint was the hot water in the shower, there wasn’t much of it, probably because so many guests were using it at the same time. Still, overall, it was a great stay, and I’ll definitely be coming back to this hotel in the future.

The bed was very comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows. The room was really spacious and very clean. The bathroom was clean and it was spacious as well. I was pleasantly surprised by a mini fridge and microwave in the room. It was very quiet . I had a very nice stay.

Great Hotel to Stay At.

We stayed at this hotel while stuck at BWI for a delayed flight - arrived after 10 PM with no bags. We used the free shuttle both ways - very fast and easy to use. The bar stayed open, and Manny gave us great service. The front desk staff provided us with toothbrushes, toothpaste and deoderant to ease our stay with no luggage. Hot breakfast was included with real scrambled eggs. I can't say enough about the quality service we received and the convenience of this hotel.

Needed to make a last minute reservation while traveling for business and couldn’t have been more happy. My first hotel was average at best with poor bedding/mattress and needed upgrades. So happy I chose Holiday Inn for the remainder of my trip. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Just what I needed to finally get some rest. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re traveling to the area. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The Holiday Inn was very conveniently located near the Airport. The shuttle service was great! When I returned from my vacation on the morning of July 14th, I had to call the hotel to find out where I could catch the shuttle back to the hotel, and the customer service was great. The young lady stayed on the phone with me until I found my location to catch the shuttle.

The room and lobby was extremely clean. The parking lot lights was dim and not a lot of parking space. The room has no box spring or it's worned out. When I say on the bed I heard the wooden bottom.
