Quiet location, very nice hotel.

The room was nice and private patio with fire bit enjoyable. Breakfast was done very well and different each day. Even though the ice machine was down we were able to get ice through the desk person. Very quiet and parking was good.

We had a wonderful stay.

I have stayed at many hotels in Leavenworth. This is my favorite!!!! The property is beautiful and relaxing. Lovely pool and hotter and deck as well as other extras on the property that make for a restful getaway. I love everything about the BLUE ELK and it is now our go to Inn for Leavenworth! Amazing breakfast too!!!! Love the BLUE ELK!!!!

We stayed mid week in a ground floor room 105 for a couple of nights. Quiet, peaceful stay.

As this was my first visit to Leavenworth, I was unsure of the conditions of the available hotels in the area. We selected Blue Elk Inn due to availability. We had an excellent find. We stayed in one of the ground level rooms with a fenced patio. The unit was immaculate and appeared to be recently updated. Large bathroom with a big walk-in shower. The king sized bed was perfect for my sleeping needs. My sleep score over the 3 night stay was very good. The main area was also warm and inviting with a living room setting. It was like we were staying in someone’s large home. If anything, the ice maker was on the fritz but staff helped us out by providing ice from the kitchen. So this was a non-issue for us.

Love this place, always my go to stay in Leavenworth. It’s a great location, easy walk to the riverfront trails or downtown.

This place was great for the price. The only thing that needed improvement was the vanity area to get ready has poor lighting for makeup. Other than that it really is a cute place with comfy, clean, beds.

We only had 1 night there with family - would have love to extend but unfortunately the weather forecast was too bad, and same rooms were booked, so upgrading wasn't worth it for us. Would definitely stay there if we plan to visit Leavenworth overnight again.

We ended up at this hotel for one night only, by chance. What an amazing pick it was! This hotel is 5 stars for every reason possible. It is well taken care of from the inside to the beautiful outside pool and landscaping. The staff are all accommodating and so polite. It is pet friendly but you would never know a pet had been there. My only regret is that it was only one night. We will be back at some point!

Wr had a great stay at The Blue Elk Inn! It was quiet and comfortable.Tje room was well stocked with what we needed and front desk gal was so kind and friendly. I loved that our fur baby was greeted with his own towel and blanket! Nice touch! The room we slept in didnt have a screen on the window. We opened it anyway and we're fine, but I imagine certain times of the year, bugs getting in could be a problem.

It wasn't too far from the main street so if you choose to drink a lot it's a perfect way to walk some of the alcohol off! The staff was very friendly, the room felt cozy! Would recommend again and come to stay another time!

The grounds were manicured daily and very appealing. It would have been nice to have robes to wear to and from the pool.

Close to everything

Love the hotel and patio room I chose. Room was very clean and welcoming. Upon arriving I asked about the pool hours, sadly to be told it was unavailable for a few days they just “shocked” it… call to ask if the amenities are going to be available during your stay I guess is my lesson. Further walk into town than I thought when booking.

You can only use the saunas until 8:30pm

great location to stay and it is right across from the roller coaster, very quiet and relaxing, the pool is not as big as the photos shows but still good to have, good walking distance to downtown, honestly i was surprised how nice and clean was our room, it is not a "Inn" it is legitimate 5star hotel with charm! breakfast could be better but i don't complain about free breakfast.

We chose the Blue Elk Inn based on other reviews. The room was clean, fresh, and inviting. The bed was very comfortable and the staff friendly. The property is tucked around the corner from the main drag which leads to the serenity of this hotel.

The check in area had a slight pet odor the first day. The eggs are carton scrambled type did not eat. The rest of the selections were good, no potatoes. The room and bed were nice. The elevator was down why we here and they helped us with are bags. I would return because of pricing and a great staff. Pat

The room was nicely appointed, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was a little more substantial than you’d find at motel chains. The location was convenient for walking into the core retail area while still having great views of the nearby mountains.

I loved that this hotel is located just outside of the main downtown Leavenworth area! It was super quiet and peaceful.

Lovely property, perfectly clean, grounds were also immaculate, nice breakfast, enjoyed the hot tub, didn't use treehouse sauna but it looked great. Super nice pooch amenities, even provided doggie blanket and towel. Night staff was especially warm. We'll be back! Thanks for the coffee too!

The breakfast was above the average continental breakfast found at average hotels. This is clearly a pet friendly property based on the number of pet owners during my stay but never was there any evidence of pet nuisances to non pet owners. Beds were comfortable, rooms and other parts of hotel were clean. I did think the amenities in the room were minimal, and the availability of uses on the property like the saunas, gym or pool was limited.

Our biggest concern is lack of proper noise insulation. We could hear our neighbors talk / walk / etc. all the time and it made our pup stressed.

Stayed with my 5 year old daughter and we LOVED it! They have a fun little scavenger hunt around the Inn for the little ones and tons of board games and puzzles to play with the kids. The hot tub was clean and the view is great. Located close to the Adventure Park. The room was clean quiet and cozy. Would highly recommend for families.

It was a lovely property, close to town, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast included. The Tv was difficult to navigate and we were close to the hot tub so it was a bit noisy until quiet hours hit but then it was very quiet.

Everything excellent except lack of advertised hot tubs. One was not available and the other , jets were not working. We have run into this repeatedly at multiple hotels in the past 2 years. Breakfast is great, property is quiet and we love that it is dog friendly and has a BBQ!

Room was good size and bed was comfortable. Bathroom arrangement was great and shower had really good pressure. A sign of a good establishment is how they react to an issue if it arises. We had a problem with the toilet in the room and once reported it was fixed within 30-40 minutes. Well done Blue Elk Inn for that. Room was too hot and we had to keep opening the window to cool down. A room servicing following the toilet issue was promised on the night of the issue for the next day but never happened

I went up to Stevens to try to get some fresh powder in a blizzard. Got waved off at the pass because parking was full and headed to Leavenworth for lunch. Ended up trapped in Leavenworth after 2 and 90 were shut down. Found this place on Expedia and it turned a story of being skunked and stranded into a nice personal getaway. The Inn is located on the West end of the town on Icicle Creek road, about a 20 minute walk to the village. The room was very nice and comfortable; the furnishings felt fresh. I liked the quiet and having some distance from the road and the village. The staff were super friendly. It felt like a non-pretentious mountain getaway. The amenities looked ok - the hot tub was very modest and probably fit 4 comfortably. I’d say go here for the cozy room cleanliness and quality. If you’re looking for a higher end resort vibe or something close to the village, there are more expensive options available. This met the need and then some. Very grateful for the vibe and value.

It’s a charming Bavarian Lodge with fabulous breakfast cooked from scratch! They have nice grounds and a fairly large pool. Unfortunately, one of the hot tubs the Jets weren’t working and the other hot tub wasn’t hooked up so that was a bit of a disappointment. Their saunas are lovely. They have two. But you need reservations and when staff is not around, you can’t use them.

Hot tub and sauna were nice but best for small group or couple. Great breakfast. Nice rooms and easy parking.

The ‘apartment’ suite is updated. Oh the only other negative was there are no drawers in the bedroom. Just closet with hangers. There is a big dresser in the living room but that’s not helpful. This is not enough for me to tell people not to stay here. But even a nightstand with 2 drawers or shelving in the closet would be helpful. Breakfast included was so much appreciated!!!

It was a nice stay and only a 15-20 min walk from downtown my only complaint was that the fireplace did not work in our room.

Very good stay. Welcoming staff, decent breakfast, good exercise room, great sauna and hot tub. We had one of the two rooms attached to the main lobby on the first floor, you can hear quite a lot. Breakfast at 8 will make sure you're up by then as well with all the noise.

This was a sweet place to stay. We stayed in the Alphine Suite, and it was clean, spacious, and had easy access to the back of the lodge where the saunas are located. The staff were all friendly, and the breakfast buffet was just right.

The Inn is 1 mile from downtown (city’s main shopping & restaurants) so you can take the 20 minute walk or spend $13.50 every 3 hours for parking. There is no free parking.

Great place for the price. We booked this as a romantic getaway/40th birthday gift. We think we got the best bang for your buck. You're right across the street from the alpine coaster and a 10-15 minute walk to the downtown area of Leavenworth. Our hotel came with amenities that others did not. Staff, food, and rooms were all amazing. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to go back.

The staff was really kind and accommodating. While mostly clean there was a little bit of things missed. Staff was very responsive when we requested help with the tub as well as the fireplace but we were able to get them sorted really quickly. The breakfast left something to be desired.

The Blue Elk Inn is about a 20 minute walk to the heart of Leavenworth. Rooms and facilities are in good condition and clean. We stayed during the winter, so it was a busy time, but the Inn is still very quiet. In fact, they have noise policies, so it may not be good for loud children or big groups. The hot tub was open but tiny. Breakfast was underwhelming, but there are options in town worth venturing out for.

The heater fan was extremely noisy, making it difficult for us to sleep with it on. It was disappointing to have this experience, especially considering the stay was quite expensive.

Negatives: The younger staff definitely need to work on their people skills. At times, the attitudes almost seemed irritated by guests. I was also bothered that the hot tub was closed by 8 for the time we were there. After dinner in downtown and coming back to the Inn, you really want to warm up and soak and that was not doable. I have never stayed anywhere where the tub closed before 10. I feel that should be revised. If I had seen online that it was closed at 8:00pm, I would have stayed elsewhere.

Beautiful, clean cozy quaint. It was my birthday stay and I asked at the desk if there were any perks for it being your birthday. Free upgrade or anything. The sweet girl offered a celebration packet, which was lovely. However, in the morning I was charged $15 for it. That was our only sour note for the whole day.

CLEANLINESS QUIET

I like the location in a quiet area. If you are able to walk, it's totally walkable to the many shops and restaurants. The front desk people we talked to were very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable. Nothing fancy, but fine. Breakfast was good. No complaints.

Stayed in a 3 bedroom suite and it was excellent. Very clean, very modern, housed our 6 people very well. (One minor complaint: no oven!). Staff was very accommodating to the couple of requests we made; very friendly people! Great place to bring your dog. Breakfasts were superb; nice meat/protein dish and scrambled eggs and yogurt included each day. Hot tub and a sauna for use with a front desk reservation. Would definitely stay again!!

Breakfast was brought out regularly in a buffet style setting. The property was very well maintained and clean. Jacuzzi was working as well as the sauna. The pool wasn’t working but it was late October and 40 degrees. The rooms were clean and aesthetically pleasing. Would definitely stay again.

The views were amazing. I like the fact that it was off the beaten path and more private and secluded than than other hotels. So when we want to sit in the backyard we were pretty much alone pretty it was a pretty setting. Only thing I do was like was the fact the hot tub was broken and they didn't tell us and we didn't get to use it the whole time we were there. But they did give us a 10% discount which helped a little.

On the website maybe I misunderstood it says the pool is open March-October as in it’s closed in March and October open in between those months. The hot tub was kind of small and had some cracks in it not that it made a difference. Breakfast was amazing. The room was great. My son and I had fun on the scavenger hunt they have.

The unfortunate- While the front desk inaccurately stated (to every guest checking in) the pool and hot tub were open until 9… the pool was clearly drained and being maintained (closed for the season) and the hot tub was covered with a sign saying it was out of order. Since these were critical features in the booking of our stay- we were disappointed- but the front desk was very kind and apologetic and offered to keep the saunas open late for us as well as a discount on our stay. We were thankful for the integrity of Inn and I’ll be back again soon!

Really cute place. The service was awesome especially Chloe who checked us in and made us a to go bag breakfast for our long hike to Colchuck Lake. Having the sauna and hot tub accessible after the hike was so great. The hot breakfast the second day was delicious. Great coffee! And we even snuck in another early morning hot tub soak. The room was gorgeous. In room air conditioning was dated, but opening the window was fine for letting cool air in. It was a pretty perfect stay!

The breakfast was excellent. Everything was fresh and above, and beyond most breakfasts that are included in a stay.

This is an amazing inn. We loved everything about it. The food was fresh and delicious every morning. We loved how it was dog friendly, even though we didn't have a dog ourselves. The balcony was wonderful and we could sit and enjoy the beautiful mountains.

We especially enjoyed the tree lined walkway to town.

This place is a backyard oasis! The value and quality of the rooms were great. I have never been to a property that has been taken care of like this! The pictures do it no justice! If you’re not staying here you are missing out.

Great room, wonderful free breakfast, free bikes to ride, all in all, nice place!

Had trouble getting into our room had the front desk have to come try and she struggled to open the door. Once in the Reserved patio room there was extremely loud road construction that went until after 11pm. So we weren't able to use the patio because the multiple pieces of equipment being run 30ft away from our door. We understand this was not work being done at the hotel but wasn't mentioned or dealt with in anyway from the hotel. Room was updated but thin walled. Tv was hard to run and was unable to connect phone to the tv using all screen sharing apps on tv. Bed was the best part of the trip, it was extremely comfy. Breakfast was limited but it seemed like they rotated daily the main course. Main course wasn't great but it was something ended up having to go into town for breakfast every morning. Also seemed restrictive had to have a key to access lobby after 9 and had to schedule use of saunas. Also location is not ideal for walking Leavenworth. Was pretty disappointed in this site.

Wonderful property and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay.

We last minute decided to stay an extra night. Cloe was fantastic at putting a little extra effort into keeping us in the same room!

The property is clean and well kept, the amenities are excellent and high-quality. The free continental breakfast was homemade and delicious… All in all it was an excellent stay with a wonderful establishment. We are definitely coming back.

The only downside was the noise coming from the room above us. The person upstairs had a heavy walk, which made it difficult to fall asleep. I think staying on the top floor would have made the experience even better. Other than that, everything was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the place was well kept.

I booked my stay to celebrate my 13th anniversary with my wife, but she passed away 3 weeks after booking. It was a nice peaceful stay. Staff was very kind to me.

Blue elk is one of our favorite places to stay. We were able to take our dog. The staff is friendly and it’s very clean and nice.

The most beautiful, well appointed hotel with stunning gardens and lovely outdoor pool. Staff were wonderful, location perfect for a walk into town. Hidden in the mountains, stunning!

We rented a small room. Electrical outlets for charging phones were not conveniently placed. The bed was comfortable. Room was comfortable, safe and felt private. My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the room.

A solid hotel. Super fun with all the blue elk. Sauna is great. Pool too. Appreciated the gratis breakfast but not to my personal liking.

We enjoyed the stay. Very quiet area at the end of Leavenworth, clean and cared for place. The only disadvange is the lack of insulation - but you live with that if you are lucky not to have noisy or loud neighbors. Still our experience was very good.

Wonderful breakfast. Chloe and the front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. Fire pits outside, lots of outdoor seating with beautiful views. We enjoyed the sauna- 1 was up a set of stairs on a deck and it felt like we were in a treehouse. Beautiful flowers and gardens. Someone was always working on them and keeping everything g neat and tidy. We walked to town for meals , shopping and fun( floating on the River). Very close to beautiful hikes. Loved the free bikes at the inn!! Would recommend this highly.

Nice hotel

Room was good, lighting in bathroom not real bright unless you turn in the fan which has a light. All in all from checkin to a great breakfast, it wasn't too bad.

We loved our stay at the Blue Elk Inn. The staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived throughout our stay available for questions and information on local activities. The property and our room were clean, polished and inviting. Make sure to ask for a robe before your stay as they offer that to guests who ask about extra towels. I like that the property is a little distance from downtown which made it quiet but still close enough to walk to all the shops and restaurants. It’s also right next door to the adventure park! This place is a gem!

We LOVED the Blue Elk Inn. We would 100% stay here again in the future. Just far enough away from the core town so that you don’t have too many people, but totally walkable to all the shopping and restaurants within 1 mile max! About 30 min drive to Colchuk lake hike too. Excellent place to stay in Leavenworth!

Very helpful friendly and it’s beautiful here

Remodeled clean friendly hotel with complimentary hot breakfast. Walkable to Adventure park, river and town. Farther from town than some hotels but quiet. Will stay next time we return

We were so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful this property was! It was clean, modern, cutely furnished and the staff was very kind and accommodating.

It’s was very clean and accessible. It was a very hot day and we could have used an air conditioner that was able to get colder.

We really enjoyed staying here. The only thing that we would change is that the air conditioning unit sounded like a jet engine. It was quite loud even on low.

What a great place for rest and relaxation! Blue Elk Inn is intentional about every detail which makes it such a unique place to stay. There is such a nice place in the back yard of the inn to relax on the deck or garden area. The grounds are immaculate and provide such a place of peace and comfort.

This place was such a nice stay. Very beautiful grounds and so peaceful. The staff was very accommodating and the free breakfast was satisfying.

Little cute Easter eggs throughout the hotel made it feel unique. Location is great. Just a couple minute walk to the adventure park, 20ish minute walk or 5 minute drive into downtown Leavenworth, and about 10 minute drive to the Safeway. It also is near the trail that takes you through blackbird park and into Leavenworth! We got that recommendation from the gal working the desk the evening we got there! Rooms clean and tidy, small empty fridge was very appreciated for snacks and drinks. Comfy king size bed. Complimentary breakfasts were so fun and delicious. Hot food with the additional standard breakfast options like bagels, cereal, and oatmeal. I do wish there were a bit more protein options but it was a filling and satisfying breakfast. Having free bike rentals in the summer is such a plus. Theyre first come first serve so we went down early for an hour bike ride and back. They’re single gear adult sized bikes and a bit older so the seats and handle bars aren’t really adjustable but for a free rental it was super convenient and fun to do and they did the job. (Plus in Leavenworth and the trail through blackbird island there are very minimal hills) It was one of our favorite things about the stay! I wish there was at least one more bike since there are only 3. We loved our stay and want to come back.

Clean , friendly staff and comfortable beds.

Leavenworth is a great experience! Lots to do.You can get it done in 3days if you don’t hike. The BE is very relaxing. The back deck was warm and the couch and soft chairs make it cosy.

My family stayed in Tumwater suit for two nights, and it was perfect for is. Clean, quiet, easy parking and pet friendly. Will definitely come back.

We had a one king, one queen room and it was huge!! Beds were comfortable, breakfast was wonderful. The place is adorable! Would definitely recommend.

The Blue Elk was so quiet and clean. The breakfast was lovely. We very much enjoyed the walk into town through the Enchantment Park for excellent dining. Although this is a dog friendly hotel, we did not see any dogs. The grounds were immaculate and there were comfortable seating areas outside.

Nice quiet place to stay

Our trip to Leavenworth was on a whim on our way home from Spokane. We had been to Leavenworth one other time and had a great experience but the hotel didn’t have much personality. The Blue Elk Inn was just the opposite. The property was great, we were allowed to check in early and the room was awesome with a view looking towards the mountains. The hotel is about a mile from the shops but that also translated to being quiet and a great excuse to get a walk in. The breakfast the next morning was very good and overall the experience was a 10. We can’t wait to visit this hotel again.

Amazing, we took advantage of the sauna, hot tub, and pool. Breakfast outside on the patio was lovely with their beautiful gardens.

A nice mountain inn that is just enough outside of the busiest part of town. Perfect location with easy and ample parking.

Staff was outstanding. Our room was very clean and so was the lobby. We were very comfortable and loved staying just outside of downtown. We used the bikes the hotel offered and rode 6 mins into town. It was lovely and the breakfast each day was different and delish. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Leavenworth.

Fun finding the Blue Elks around the hotel and in the paintings. Gorgeous deck for relaxing. Older hot tub but still sweet to be outside with Mountain views.

What a great place! Very clean, relaxing, with high end touches like branded tea or coffee. The backyard is perfect for a getaway. Definately this is my go-to place now.

I like the set up of Suite room. The property is homey but an upgrade Jacuzzi is needed and please maintain swimming pool cleanliness.

The property was beautiful, the room was great, the check-in not so much. We waited at the front desk for 15 minutes before a maintenance worker showed up and finally got someone to check us in. Only downside to an otherwise pleasant experience.

Friendly staff, great room, great location!

We really enjoyed staying at the Blue Elk. Our room was spacious, up to date , quiet, & clean. Being off the main street through town was so nice & very quiet, & the location is a convenient 15 minute walk to downtown restaurants & breweries. The pool was bigger than most hotel pools & was heated to a comfortable temperature... The hot tub was usable, be not in good condition, & the outdoor sauna was great. Breakfast was much better than average for hotel breakfasts. We would definitely stay here again!
