Beautiful location, friendly staff! No fault of theirs but our booking.com reservation did not transfer over when they redid their reservation system. Staff handled it well and found us a room that would work. A few moments of stress but all good!

Only small issue was that the (loud!) construction workers across the street started work at 7:00 am, but this was not something in the hotel's control.

Location is right across the street from the town center. Just park your car walk across the street shop eat dinner have dessert and then walk back across the street and you're at your hotel room.

Steven at reception gave great recommendations for restaurants. He also held our perishables after checkout while we continued to enjoy Leavenworth. Very helpful staff.

I would avoid the second floor rooms on the back side of the hotel. It is great to have the off-street parking on the back of the hotel but several rooms miss out on balcony or patio space. We stayed in room 216 right above the hotel AC condensers. Pretty constant noise of fans. Just avoid those rooms and you will have a great stay!

The Lodge was so adorable. The staff very helpful. The rooms were clean and big. The breakfast felt homemade and very ummy. It was also in a perfect location for walking into town.

However, the hotel itself is old, needs improvements, and is overpriced for what it is. Things like the mold smell, old faucets, semi-working and loud AC unit, and the generally outdated building were beyond what we expected based on the reviews and description. As a family of 4 with two young children, the room size and setup made was not convenient for us. I do think that a renovation would bring this place back to being as awesome as it could be.

Our room was the basic queen room, which was super comfortable and very clean, the weighted blankets were super cozy. Everything down to the decor was cute and inviting. I will definitely be staying again. Oh also the free dvd library was a great touch.

We were pleasantly surprised at how great this hotel was. The room was clean and the decor was fitting for the environment. The staff were very friendly, and accommodating to our children, which we find many hotels aren't these days. The free breakfast was above average and the Woodsman Pub was fantastic. Such a great experience and so close to the downtown activities. We stayed at the Enzian last time, but this was a better experience. Will stay here again!

Unique place with Bavarian woodland theme. Rooms are a little dated but super clean. Staff were really helpful with lots of suggestions and an early check in. The Woodland bar was great. Great location right in the middle of town.

My wife and I thought that Chelsea in the Woodsman pub was very friendly and helpful. Everyone we interacted with was very helpful and had great customer service.

The Bavarian Lodge is exactly the type of lodging I wanted to stay at while in Leavenworth. It is quaint and very close walking distance to the Main Street.

Location is excellent right across from the main shopping area. Heated pool and hot tubs were a pleasant way to end the day and the compete breakfast offering were a great way to start.

Staff extremely friendly & helpful. We arrived nearly 4 hrs before check-in time, so went to the hotel to drop off our luggage. Steven at front desk instead offered to check us in early. Great hotel, reasonable price & perfect location in town center.

Amazing. The outside facade was lit up with beautiful Christmas lights and the lobby looked like a Christmas village. The complimentary Breakfast was outstanding and better than Starbucks coffee and cocoa. The room was clean, comfortable and most of all, location with parking! I’ve been coming here since 1995 and am disappointment that we never stayed here before! We will be back!!!

We had a great stay at the Bavarian Lodge! It was a wonderful place to stay as a family. The heated outdoor pool and gott ubs were a hit with the kids. The complimentary hot cocoa was also loved. The kids also loved the DVD library to choose from. The location of the hotel can't be beat. It's so easy to walk to the shops and restaurants downtown.

Our first stay In Leavenworth was charming, romantic, and wonderful. Staff went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. The hot chocolate/hot cider drinks bar, to the decorations, and warm and inviting fireplace, it was like a Hallmark Christmas Movie. Ending the stay with a warm, delicious breakfast buffet. Our stay was definitely a happier ever after experience!!

My family of 4 booked the Family room and it was perfect. The hotel is in the middle of Leavenworth and sits directly across the village. You just cross the street and you’re there! Beds were clean and mattresses were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and comes with your stay, I do have to point out their water with cucumber and other flavors that they place by the front desk is so good. The receptionist said it’s tap water but why did it taste so good? They have DVDs that you can rent to watch in your room. We enjoyed the self serve hot coco, apple cider and Tazo teas in the front. They do not have a gym but we did drive to a local one nearby. We loved staying at the Bavarian and would definitely come back.

The front desk staff were excellent. Easy check in, friendly service, and we were provided with great recommendations for lunch and dinner. My daughter loved the hot cider in the lobby and I loved the hot cocoa. The lodge is in a great location for walking to everything. Beds were comfy and the lodge was quiet at night for great sleeping.

What a gem! Right across from Leavenworth’s main “front” street. We have a beautiful view of all the shops from our window. The hotel also has a super nice pub. Great hot breakfast in the morning with so much to choose from. Fun gifts to buy in the lobby for everyone. I would stay here every time. Maybe next time I will try the pool and hot tub. The hotel has a pretty good location. My wife and I arrived a bit late with our new baby horn. I went to the check-in holding the car seat and other things. The person at the desk was extremely rude when I arrived. When my wife showed up, he tried to be nice with her, but he completely lacked respect. This is the first time we’ve booked at this hotel, and it’s not a good experience.

Our stay was good but our service in the Woodman Pub was horrible. I will never try your pub again. I apologize for not getting the name of the gal working on the evening 9/29/25. She was very slow and not friendly. It took forever to get our food and drink refills and took a long time to get our bill.

This is my family’s go to lodging when we’re visiting Leavenworth. It is such a convenient place to walk around the prime area of the German town. The place is well taken care of and such a cute place. The pub was great as well. They have great deals on drinks and if you stay on property, you can get a drink for free if you buy one. Cant wait to stay at this property again in the future!

I felt like I’d been dropped into a true Bavarian village. The main areas and guest room were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and over the top helpful. Breakfast was yummy with good variety. The best part was being right across the street from Leavenworth’s downtown shopping and dining area. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was within easy walking location to the rest of the shops and restaurants in Leavenworth. Also a few short hikes that you could walk to from the lodge. Overall loved our stay at Bavarian. We paid roughly $300/night but felt the stay was worth $400/night. Oh my, almost forgot about the breakfasts. The breakfast was a good step above most hotel breakfasts. The breakfast changed each morning and one morning included delicious kielbasa sausage.

Rooms were unique, clean and quiet. Easy walking distance to town. Staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and included a fine number of choices.

We loved staying at the Bavarian lodge as it is located right in the heart of Leavenworth. Everything was within 1- 5min walking distance. We visited in September so the lodge was beautifully landscaped with giant flower boxes and planters, they also had cozy setting areas outside to sit back and take in the views. Our room had a view of the town. The staff was super friendly and helpful with suggestions on hot spots, and activities in town, also providing a map of stores, restaurants etc to help navigate your stay. The lodge also had a lounge, with food if you wanted to just chill for awhile from being in town. The only reason I hesitated to give 5 stars is the beds were not comfortable, I'm not super picky about this and have slept in many hotels with not so comfy beds, I couldnt put my finger on it but something was off about them to the point that neither my husband or I could sleep well. But in saying that we would stay there again.

This is a clean, well kept hotel in the center of the Bavarian Village in Leavenworth. The location is excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They breakfast is better than the typical included breakfast at most hotels with several hot and cold choices. The only small critique would be that the bed not great but was adequate. We would definitely stay he again on return to Leavenworth. It is worth the extra cost over other hotels.

Everything was right there was in the downtown for easy access. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Absolutely loved the stay there and the staff was friendly. Only complaint I have is that I was double charged on the way out the door for my stay even though it was paid in advance. The next day an employee was friendly and refunded me however!

Loved our short stay. Just across the street from the main activity area. Breakfast was very nice. Room had lots of towels and comfy bed. Pool also had towels supplied. The cucumber/lemon water in the lobby as well as coffee was a huge plus. We will definitely book this hotel again.

Everything’s was perfect except the odor of the room, upon walking in to the room it smelled of a certain type of smoking product. I went to the desk to report, they handed me a bottle of “air freshener”, something very diluted in a spray bottle. The only other issues was shampoo dispenser was completely empty.

Love the uniqueness of this hotel. It is well maintained, very clean, equipped with super comfy beds, and the staff were all friendly, courteous and helpful. For people wanting to spend any amount of time downtown, it is the perfect location.

Fabulous one night stay during peak summer travel. Stayed in a double queen room with our two kids ages 6 & 7. Loved that as we walked the halls we didn’t hear tvs and people talking in their rooms as rooms are sound proofed. Lobby, parking garage, restrooms, halls and rooms were extremely clean and well maintained. We even noticed how nice the hotel carpet was! Cont. breakfast was great, something for everyone. Staff was exceptionally friendly and responsive. Pool was nice, though small it had 2 hot tubs. Woodsman pub had good appetizers and drink selection. Would DEFINITELY recommend and stay here again!

The lodge enjoys a prime location, and the building's exterior is quite charming, enhanced fresh flowers. Although the breakfast was pleasant, we did find some of the food a touch too salty for our preference. The pool and hot tubs were also quite nice.

Great service and room was really clean. Sheets were a bit rough and bed a little hard. I like a softer bed, hubby likes a firmer bed so he found it very comfy.

The staff was so accommodating and welcoming. The breakfast was not as good as so many people say but it was better than most included breakfasts in other chain hotels. Unique atmosphere beautiful grounds, even spotted deer!. Perfectly placed to get to all the town attractions.

Central to the park downtown you can literally walk to anything worth experiencing in 5 min. The pool was clean and well stocked. The rooms and lobby were charming. The beautiful flowers totally felt like Bavaria. Loved the breakfast and pub…. Plenty of variety and seating. The DVD library was a nice touch for families.

Our stay at The Bavarian Lodge was PERFECT! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived around 1:00 pm and were surprised to find out that our room was ready and we were able to check-in! We were grateful to have a chance to freshen up and relax before exploring the area. The Lodge is right across the street from the downtown area so there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Parking was very easy with spaces available in a garage and in front of the hotel. Once we checked-in, we didn't need to drive anywhere during our stay. The amenities were awesome, too! We enjoyed the hot tub and pool and loved that the pool had "adults only" time in the evenings. Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. When we return to Leavenworth we will certainly stay here again!

Overnight stop on a 9 day roadtrip. Super easy check in and friendly staff. Parking lot is a little small and tight but we found a place in back. The town is so very cool and this place fits perfectly right in the middle of everything. Nice bar and restaurant but we didn't make use of it. Rooms were very cool decor and stay was great.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bavarian Lodge. From the decorating to the cleanliness everything was wonderful. My niece, a very picky eater, said the cinnamon rolls were the best she has ever had. It was a wonderful trip with lots of awesome memories.

The pool and the front desk lady who checked us in and the gentlman who helped me get a pull away, oh and also the staff was so efficiant i was able to checkin at 1 not 4 i know it wont always happen but i was so thankful it did as i was traveling with 3 kids i was so happy we were able to enjoy an hour poolside befor getting where we needed to be.. the cleanliness of the room is amazing i wish i had known to choose a balcony room and 1 night was still a bit pricey but so worth it.. i hope the breakfast in the morning is just as amazing

Amazing place to stay

We loved our stay. Everything about this property is great. From location, to charm, to all the extra little things that make a place comfortable. All the staff were super nice and attentive and you can tell someone has put a lot of thought into making your stay ideal.

Property was okay but housekeeping needed to be reminded by their supervisor to check such things as: tv remote damaged, no conditioner in shower container, and whether alsrm had been reset by previous occupant.

We chose the place because it looked good when we walked past it on a previous visit to Leavenworth, and it is down town. We'll be back. Our car didn't move from check-in to departure. The breakfast buffet was very good, the staff was nice, the place was clean. The lighting in the room could have been a little better, but other than that we were happy

Best place in Leavenworth to stay.

On the first morning of our stay the bedside alarm clock woke me up at 6 AM, so it hadn’t been reset or turned off by housekeeping from the previous guest. Since I was able to turn it off quickly this wasn’t a huge problem, but about 10 minutes later a high pitched constant beeping started from behind a screwed-on panel in the wall where the cooling/heating system was. We called the front desk who responded quickly and came to the room to confirm where the noise was coming from then left to get a tool to remove the panel. 30 minutes of no sleep later, she returned and removed the panel about 10 minutes later, after which the beeping was resolved with a simple turning off and on of the machine. We received no apology or offer to compensate us for the disruption, only a promise that a maintenance person would come by at some point to check that the system was working properly - not sure if this ever happened since there was no follow up from management or anyone else. My partner uses medical equipment to sleep so this interruption in our sleep really affected our first of only 2 full days in town. While this was likely a rare occurrence, it felt like a reflection of management that we didn’t receive any sort of apology or even follow up on the situation, especially if there had been some sort of electrical or mechanical problem with the A/C/heater that was not readily accessible.

Hotel is pretty dated but nice, very convenient to walk around or look out the window for a nice view make sure to book the valley and Mountain View with balcony… excellent breakfast and coffee is decent. The only problem I had was bed are pretty good but a little uncomfortable, room smells like mold so scented candle is a must… overall good experience, will stay again….

Real Bavarian style both outside and inside. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful with planning my hike. And the spa outside has the perfect temperature to relax. Highly recommended.

I was so disappointed that the hot tub was out of service for my 3 night stay. This was mid week in April and there’s nothing going on in the evening there this time of year. Fortunately the hotel had a dvd player in the room and a wide selection of movies to watch. Other than that, the hotel is great and the location is perfect.

Upon booking we choose this place due to the downtown location and the pool and spa amenities only to find via email the day before arriving those amenities were closed due to maintenance. This should have been posted since it stated that it has been closed March 17th. When we arrived they made it aware that pool and spa were closed due to maintenance and this was a very recent closure, when we stated we received the email yesterday that it had been closed since March the front desk attendant said she didn’t know anything about it. As for the room they need to update the heater/ac unit as it was very loud and made it difficult to get a goods night sleep. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room its self was pretty basic. The bar had good service as well but the breakfast service could use some work.

Swimming pool and hot tub are closed for renovations so don't get your hopes up. They offer a two for one coupon for beer and wine T the bar. The beds are sometimes comfortable sometimes not; woke up with a sore neck and back. Shower is okay, breakfast is okay, hot but hasn't changed menu in years.

The stay was great, however it would have been even better if there were more gluten free options to eat at the Pub in the Lodge.

It’s a nice place but the beds are horrible! There was an awful high pitched ringing sound in our room and although check in was a breeze she forgot the documents for our car for parking and our car was going to be towed. We had no idea that we needed anything. So glad it wasn’t but it could have been a horrible surprise if it had been. Breakfast was delicious. Just wish the bed was more comfortable. Gonna need to visit the chiropractor tomorrow after our stay.

The pool was closed during our stay and we were only told 1 day prior to our visit. This was after our refund period. I was disappointed as I had chosen that hotel for its pool after hours of scouring reviews. The initial staff did not offer any discounts and practically blamed me for booking through a third party. I was tempted to walk out and book elsewhere but didn't want to upend our family vacation. Later, I spoke to a manager who assured at least a 10% discount, maybe more. By the time I checked out this discount was not applied and I will have to take more time to resolve this. We ended up paying for a day pass to use the Enzain Inn pools. It was amazing. I wish I had booked with them initially, expensive but high value.

Literally everything was perfect. It was my wife and our two kids. One is 4 and the other is 19. They all loved it. There’s lots to eat within walking distance. The rooms and public areas in the hotel are so festive and warm feeling. All the staff, including the kitchen staff was as friendly as could be(Lupe the cook was super friendly I remember specifically). This is our favorite trip every year and have no plans on trying to find any other place to stay.

My family loves this place. Rooms where amazing, food was good, and staff was amazing. Kids loved the outdoor heated pool and hot tubes it was 23 outside and the pool was hot and amazing. The only complaint I have is hot tube didn't open tell 9am. I'm an early riser and love good to the hot tube at 6am. We would recommend this place to anyone

Stayed in the turret suite and the soaking tub made it worth every penny! Gorgeous views from our room and really close to all the shops and restaurants. The room itself is nice and quiet even though it’s so close to everything. The heated pool was a nice touch and the staff was very friendly and attentive!

Had a great view of the lights and a lovely balcony. Only bad thing was we had noise neighbors above us. Could hear them walking most of the night.
