Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its cleanliness, spacious rooms, and variety of dining options. However, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction with certain staff members and unexpected charges.
- Cleanliness and spaciousness of rooms
- Variety of dining options
- Inconsistent quality of customer service
- Unexpected charges
- 5/5
The restaurants inside the hotel were awesome.
- 5/5
I think we ate at Coronado three times… steak and egg breakfast on early bird menu for $7! The pool was beautiful ♥️and the shakes at Steak ‘n Shake were amazing 🤩
- 5/5
Nice place
- 3/5
There were some hidden charges
- 5/5
The place is very well maintained
- 5/5
My stay was great. The hotel rooms were nice and big. I liked the addition of having a mini fridge in the room as well. The rooms were a bit of a walk away from the casino floor but I appreciated the seclusiveness of it.
- 5/5
Nice pool, great staff, Italian restaurant was delicious
- 5/5
Everything was excellent, the food was good, excellent variety, lots of entertainment, and friendly staff.
- 2/5
The bathroom was not clean and had soaking wet towels left in the shower. The pool is nice to have ice cold Margheritas by. Water is not too cold. We were in room 1011. The spotlights were shining into our windows all night and we had to sleep with the drapes closed. The one good thing is the quiet room.
- 4/5
Good place to stay away from main strip.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Have a hard time paying the resort fee when we don't use any of the resort extras. An overall wonder stay!
- 3/5
The room and property was nice and clean. There are plenty of places to eat and things to do. The only problem we had is that I reserved a king room with a view. We got a double room looking over the roof of the next building. Since we were just there for the one night and we were tired, I did not complain to management.
- 5/5
Love that they have a Starbucks on site and the hapoy hour at the mexican bar was outstanding.
- 4/5
I never got my bed made or the room cleaned......when I called housekeeping and went to the front desk both said that we had been asked when we checked in if we wanted "service" and we declined. We were not asked and did not decline....while some people are worried about housekeeping moving around their stuff that is not me......one of the best things about staying in a hotel is having someone else make the bed, replenish the coffee and clean towels.
- 5/5
Hotel was great!
- 4/5
Casino had a stale smokey smell.
- 5/5
Fantastic restaurants
- 3/5
Too many people smoking.
- 5/5
The room was the largest hotel room that I have ever been in. It was very clean and nice. The price was as low as any standard hotel room.
- 4/5
While the rooms had refrigerators, there are no microwaves, which was disappointing. Also did not like the smoking in the Casino which you must walk through continuously. Rooms were clean. I liked that it was free Valet Parking but feel that the resort fee was our parking fee. Staff was helpful.
- 5/5
No drama with parking. I appreciate not getting price gouged by resort fees and parking fees. This is my go to place in Vegas now.
- 4/5
We love the steak& shake fast food restaurant, Italian restaurant, the Deli, all the restaurants are great however. Our last visit to the Japanese the service was unbelievable slow, it took our food 1 hour to arrive at our table, our beverages sat empty our table was not the only table that suffered. The manager gave us a 10% discount card if we were to choose to come back another time. That is not taking care of the customer. We had just spent a few grand at that hotel he knew that his team was not doing well that night instead he made an excuse that it was busy because of it being high coupon night? We live in St George utah 1 hr 50 minutes away. Yes, its been our second home. Southpoint management needs to understand we have to travel every two weeks to Nevada we always stayed there. We have since been staying at a different hotel off & on We love that it doesn't smell of cigarette smoke. The rooms are clean! They actually dust. Don't get me wrong, we still ❤️ Southpoint. However, we are sharing the wealth. southpoint should make more of an effort to be kid friendly would not be hard for them to do. The arcade absolute rip off! Do not waste your money. Kids will be sad. For 7 years the Spa has been the #1 reason southpoint had been our favorite place to stay. The spa is closed for remodeling. That made it an easier decision to stay at our new location. We are happy with our decision. Do better SP!
- 2/5
Our disappointment began when we checked into our room. We had reserved a room with a premium view; however, the view was largely obstructed by a large wall next to the window, leaving only a partial view of the pool. When we contacted the front desk, we were told that no other rooms were available. This was surprising, as I was able to see and reserve another premium-view room online at that same time. During our three-day stay, two of the six elevators were out of service and remained unrepaired throughout our visit. This resulted in long wait times and significant congestion around the elevators. One of the features that had always encouraged us to stay at South Point was the coupon book. Unfortunately, many of the most valuable offers have been removed, and we were unable to find a single coupon that was useful to us during this stay. We were also surprised to be asked at check-in whether we wanted housekeeping service every day or if we preferred to call and request it when needed. This felt unusual for a four-star hotel and did not meet the level of service we had come to expect. Overall, our experience was disappointing compared to the high standards we had enjoyed during our many previous visits.
- 5/5
No breakfast
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Everything was great! Only downfall is the he pool is only open until 6 pm.
- 5/5
Clean room, comfortable bed and good night sleep.👍
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The spa was not available and it's very inconvenient to have restaurants closed on Monday and Tuesday nights, It would be nice to have microwaves in the rooms.
- 5/5
Nice stay, clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Great Everything was Great Thank you
- 5/5
Location was just right. Restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream and easy access to transportation to Las Vegas attractions .
- 5/5
Great place to stay- beds are so comfortable! Love the free parking. Food is great(Chinese food menu at the Coronado has great portions) and I love having the movies and the pool right there!
- 5/5
Beautiful well kept property. I have low vision and use a white cane, everyone was extra helpful to me. Definitely would stay again!
- 3/5
I had not been here for many years, but I came back to town for a family event and I needed a place close by to stay, so I decided to stay here. The room is clean. It's a nice place to stay. It's a nice property, and I'll tell you the good, bad, and the ugly right now. 1. The valet staff is amazing. They actually know how to take care of your needs and were amazing the entire time I was there, and they are five-star. 2. The restaurant that I went to, the cafe, the food was mediocre. I would give it no more than a two. 3. My real problem with the property was the bellman. The bellmen were not helpful. They do not want to show a way to protect your bags, bringing them into the property. The management will not let them follow you with their bags, so you have to let go of your bags, go through a bunch of different areas where you have no sight of it. If you're not carrying anything valuable, don't care, I guess that's fine. I thought they should offer VIP service for someone like myself or somebody different. I was happy to pay for that, but no. 4. When I asked the front desk manager, he basically dismissed me. 5. I wanted to gamble there, but none of the staff in the casino was helpful, so I just said I give up. I ended up going to the Green Valley Casino and had a great experience.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Me gusta mucho limpio y buen ambiente
- 5/5
we stay for 5 days we did not ask to have our room clean wanted to help save the earth
- 5/5
Had lots of fun with slot
- 5/5
how helpful everyone was to assist.
- 5/5
When I travel to Vegas I generally try and stay at South Point because it has so much to offer, then it’s only a short driving distance to the strip and great shopping.
- 5/5
Nice room - comfortable beds, good shower, loved the coupon book!
- 5/5
Great to stay off the strip and affordable tables
- 5/5
Clean, spacious
- 4/5
I love the pool area. I love the location off the strip. I had huge room for cheap. Eat at the buffet. Trust me on this. Do not eat at Coronado Cafe. Booze is cheap in the gift shop. Stock up there!
- 5/5
👍
- 5/5
Great place to stay and the price of bottles of beer amazing this place got it right
- 5/5
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay even though it was only one day however we do plan to come back very nice Casino Hotel restaurant
- 5/5
Everything was great about the resort.
- 5/5
Love staying here fun for the entire family.
- 5/5
I have been a repeat visitor to Southpoint and am very happy with it. The staff on this visit were particularly helpful and nice. I love the breakfast buffet - very reasonably priced M-F for club members. I also like the convenience of having Starbucks, the Coronado Cafe and the Del Mar Deli all available for quick tasty food. The only wish is that there were more elevator for the parking garage or that you would add an escalator there. The wait for an elevator to parking can be crazy during peak times.
- 3/5
Shuttle service , room service was pricey though for a BLT and chicken fingers came up to $60. Yup.
- 5/5
I cannot speak more positively about the place and the quality of my stay! Mahalo!
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Nice place.
- 5/5
The room was clean and luxurious. The staff was friendly. The bartenders were quick to serve. The food was amazing and the waitstaff efficient and nice. The whole vibe of the hotel/casino was upbeat and positive. The pricing of food and drink was priced well. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Best place to stay in Vegas - not as congested as the strip - clean and lots of normal amenities in the area
- 4/5
Room was clean
- 5/5
Ability to check out on the entertainment system
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean rooms and a well kept casino
- 3/5
The shower water pressure is to high. The water flows through a shower head that can't be adjusted. The force of the water Sting's you. A SHOWER SHOULD NOT HURT YOU!!
- 5/5
Very clean and ADA accessible. Great prime rib!
- 5/5
The room was clean, it had a nice keurig type coffee pot, the bed was comfy. I wish they’d provide better lighting…the room was dark. But overall, no complaints.
- 1/5
Hotel said my reservation through Expedia was canceled so I had to be an unexpected $500
- 2/5
The carpet in the room is so dirty, you might want to keep your shoes on.
- 5/5
It's like home away from home ♥️
- 4/5
Decent hotel…clean and comfortable but a little outdated and there was a weird smell when I walked into my room.
- 5/5
Cleanest room i have had in a while and NO carpet in my room...it was fake hardwood which I was beyond excited about. No musty weird smell! GREAT room, it is a bit of a walk from parking or even to the entrance but most hotels are like that in vegas. Would def stay here again!
- 3/5
Was a decent experience overall, It was a very big casino and hotel but
- 5/5
I love staying here !
- 5/5
The hotel is clean, rooms very clean. Staff is very friendly. The restaurants and side cafes are much cheaper than on the strip as well as the portions are quite huge. Most orders can be shared for two. The pool is very clean as is the surrounding area. The rooms have fridges which is great. Bowling, movie theatre, arcade, bingo hall and if you’re into animals there is an attached arena where something seems to be going on all the time. Great place to stay.
- 5/5
Really nice place. Very comfortable and has everything you need without leaving the premises!
- 5/5
This is a great off-strip resort. We love the breakfast buffet (only $16.95 with club card M-F) and the staff throughout was lovely.
- 5/5
Great time
- 5/5
Everything was easy to access. Food was great and affordable.
- 4/5
The first draw back for us was a casino that is NOT smoke-free and that smell stays in your clothes and nose. The resort did clean the carpet daily but compared to other hotels we visited, a better air filtration system might be a good investment. Second, would be the extra fees and taxes that are not included with the Expedia package including car rental. And lastly, the Spa was closed for renovations and there was no disclosure on that information prior to our arrival. Overall, we enjoyed visiting the Vegas attractions, West Rim of Grand Cayon and Red Rock Canyon and using South Point as our home base for the time there.
- 5/5
We love staying at the hotel. Have everything you need and then some. The buffet could use some help. The food is just ok.
- 5/5
The best
- 5/5
Had a great stay so many different options for food and relaxing by the pool was everything thank you so much for the wonderful stay!
- 4/5
Ok
- 5/5
Everyone and everything at South Pount is wonderful. I have used the spa before. It is being remodeled, and I’m looking forward to going to it when I return. The young man at the Poole deli their names were Daniel and Umberto were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless. The front desk were amazing. The box office ladies were great. They helped me with seats and even getting a refund for a show that I was unable to make. I have stayed all over Las Vegas Summerland downtown the strip and Southpoint just is so wonderful. We dined at Michael’s and Don Vito’s and as usual the food and the staff were outstanding. Russell is a dining assistant at Michael’s and he is an incredible man. Russell is a dining assistant at Michael’s and he is a incredible man. Looking forward to our next trip.
- 5/5
Lots of restaurants and the room was quiet.
- 5/5
This is an excellent alternative to the strip hotels that retrying rip every dollar they can out of your pocket. This is a more casual atmosphere good deals on food 11 restaurants great meals tables with five dollar minimum a nice pool coffee in the room kinda old school. $22 Uber to the strip if you need to go there.
- 5/5
Parking was very convenient and free.
- 4/5
Large room with free coffee and fridge
- 4/5
Loved the room. Very clean. King size bed was comfortable. Plenty of space and storage. Good sink space. Only problem was how you turn the shower in. You have to be in it getting sprayed with water to turn it in since the other part of the door does not move.
- 4/5
The room was very nice but I had to call and request soap a couple of times. The restaurants served very good food. A couple of gift shops would be nice instead of the one.
- 5/5
Thank you so much! Best experience ever.
- 5/5
I took advantage of the free memorial day buffet for military, vets and 1 guest. It was very good. There was a pretty long line, to be expected, but it went fairly quickly. About an hour and a half. This included prime rib. So thanks to South Point for taking care of us. This was an $80 value and was open to all, not only to hotel guests. Thanks again South Point.
- 5/5
Excellent location—an excellent environment for families with children.
- 4/5
Spacious rooms, variety of food venues
- 4/5
The room was very clean & comfy beds. Real drawback? The pool closed at 6 pm. So...did not get to use it which was disappointing.
- 5/5
The room was very nice. Clean. Everyone was very helpful when asked & the meal was excellent at the steakhouse.
- 5/5
The room was very clean. It was a very nice room. The staff was friendly and very helpful!
- 4/5
The outdoor pool open at 9am only. I believe that 7am will be better for matinal people.
- 5/5
I stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean and updated. The hotel was crowded but it was so quiet and I slept well. Check in and check out was fast and easy. I ate at the Mexican restaurant in the hotel and it was excellent. I highly recommend it.
- 5/5
Some amenities close early like pool and hot tub.
- 4/5
The breakfast was very delicious with a large assortment of food.
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 5/5
Really nice room! And it’s the only place I’ve stayed so far that has complimentary slippers. Loved that touch 😀
- 4/5
clean I love it
- 5/5
South Point is a very nice hotel with all the amenities. Lots of gaming, , restaurants and free parking. I stay there on my frequent trips to Vegas.
- 5/5
Clean spacious room. Nice comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Great stay and service. Motorcycle friendly for sure. We will be back!
- 5/5
Great large room with fridge and coffee. Free parking. Great place to stay.
- 5/5
Love the South point, this is our go to place when we stay in Vegas. Easy check-in and great covered parking.
- 5/5
The property had a variety of activities for all. I definitely will be back.
- 5/5
Great hotel that offers everything in one spot Good selection and variety to chose from Free shuttle to the airport
- 4/5
We picked this hotel because of the price and proximity to the airport. And who knew they still allowed smoking in the casinos! Wow! Haven’t smelled that in a while!
- 3/5
had to wait too long 5 hours. for the room to be ready at check-in.
- 5/5
Always try to stay here while I. Las Vegas because everything we need is here in one place! Food, entertainment, bowling, it's all here! The pool is great too!
- 4/5
Room was clean and neat. The restaurants service was good. Some weren't open on Monday and Tuesday. Overall a great place to stay.
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
It was awesome thank you.
- 5/5
Room was great, Staff was nice, Good enjoyable stay.
- 5/5
Amazing! Clean hotel and casino with very friendly/helpful staff. Everything you need is right at the location - no reason to leave the building! A variety of food served on site and a variety entertainment for the entire family!
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms and casino were clean and spacious. Plenty of good places to eat but The Coronado Cafe was our favorite with so many options. We also enjoyed the swimming pool. The staff were helpful and attentive. We definitely be returning soon.
- 5/5
Perfect hotel experience!
- 4/5
We came for a grandsons birthday party near by. Nice location off the strip , free parking is a plus and it was easy to navigate the elevators and holiday crowd. Plenty of food on site and friendly service. Only downside was the casino smoke. We couldn’t really find a way of getting fresh air and had to avoid the area as much as possible. Great spot if you just need a place to sleep /rest.
- 5/5
The room is clean. nice staff.
- 5/5
Clean hotel and casino, I always stay here when I am traveling. Great food, rooms and safe and clean environment with free parking.
- 5/5
Staff are so helpful and happy at their job. Will definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
We love this property even though we were not recognized as a platinum status we enjoy our stay. Staff is always helpful and willing to make our stay welcomed.
- 4/5
Clean spacious room
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean. I will definitely be staying here again.
- 5/5
everyhing was great
- 3/5
We did not receive breakfast, the doors slamming and the continual yelling in the hall kept my husband awake. It was clean and spacious though.
- 5/5
We had a good time good people at the gaming tables
- 5/5
I have always appreciated my entire experience with South Point
- 4/5
Stay here pretty often all rooms available great property
- 5/5
staff for hotel really good.
- 4/5
The pool hours are too short. I didn't have time to enjoy the pool when it closed at 8pm and that's one of the reasons to stay at the South Point. 10 PM would be more reasonable.
- 5/5
Free parking was a real plus, too. Pool was clean and open late Very friendly staff; and we got $20 free slots play for booking with Expedia Thanks!!
- 5/5
Great buffet!
- 5/5
We had a good time at the property
- 3/5
Clean property minus the room. Please read. Make sure to say yes to having your room serviced as I called each morning of a 3 day stay and still only had to room service once. The amount of dust in the room would make the Vatican Secret Archive proud. Room service food was less than stellar. Pool was nice, bowling alley was nice, and so was the arcade. Gambling floor was giant and had a ton to play. Clientele was interesting to say the least. Very pushy on the walk to the elevators trying to sell you on X, Y and Z for the casino. Still a good visit but would not stay again.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful, I had made a mistake in my reservation and they helped me take care of it.
- 5/5
I love the pool area , but housekeeping never clean my room 😡
- 3/5
Large room, clean. Plenty of parking (free). Self-check in didn’t work so had to wait in line at Registration anyway. Pool closes too early (6pm). Casino smelled terrible - too much cigarette smoke with an attempt to cover it up with the strong scent of cleaning products.
- 5/5
I stop coming to this place because the smoking was unbearable…a lot has changed over the years …no smoke and it looks remodeled…lots of action …i will certainly return
- 5/5
It was an amazing place to stay
- 5/5
Holly and team at Primarily Prime Rib were wonderful. Attentive and kind. Looking forward to our next visit.
- 5/5
The people is was so nice quiet and super friendly
- 5/5
What a fantastic place to stay. We avoided staying on the strip and did not regret our decision. This hotel offers free parking and there was always a space. Driving to the strip took a few minutes. Choice of excellent restaurants. The Garden Buffet was great and we also enjoyed the Silverado Steak House and Steak & Shake onsite. The added bonus was the riding arena where we watched a paint horse show on our last morning. we found all the staff were nice and very helpful. Highly recommended.
- 3/5
Unfortunately the windows cannot be opened. Staff at the bar are very friendly.
- 5/5
Was easy and fast and staff was pleasant
- 5/5
First timers....great hotel!!
- 4/5
Only problem I had was the hidden 130 fee we paid once checking in
- 5/5
Resort grounds has much to offer in terms of entertainment and dining. Pretty packed place but great for social travelers; everyone was very friendly and environment was generally welcoming.
- 5/5
A wonderful 2 day stay! Staff was amazing and casino was clean and fun.
- 1/5
Attempted to check in at 3 but room was not ready. Waited till 4:45 on room. Not credited in any way for the inconvenience.
- 5/5
we enjoyed our entire stay.
- 5/5
Lots to do for adults and the kids
- 5/5
Had a great time, will come again.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel to stay at. Have everything you want to do.
- 5/5
I like not leaving property when there for bowling. Do wish food prices were lower
- 5/5
The breakfast, lunch and dinner at Cafe Coronado is just the best. We will always come back to eat there. Great service and great food at great prices especially after midnight the prices go back to the yesteryears of Vegas.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Super Smokey this time around not sure why, usually it isn’t too bad
- 1/5
We had an emergency . Couldn’t make the trip. So trying to get a refund. I went through afterpay. They said until you all pay I still had to pay them. Any suggestions???? Please
- 5/5
Always a great time at south point!
- 5/5
The room was very nice and very clean. Great bathroom layout allowed someone to shower, someone to be at the sink area, and yet both were out of sight of anyone sleeping in bed still. The property had lots to see and do. Great place to spend a couple of days.
- 5/5
Restaurants were good, room was clean , staff very friendly.
- 4/5
Did not go
- 3/5
We stayed at the hotel due to the equestrian facilities, which are excellent. We did encounter a number of issues. First, the key cards often do not work. I got 4 key cards at check in and 1 worked. I had to go reset our key cards at least 3 times during our stay. One of the rooms we had checked into had a strange noise coming through the walls, I think it may have been the central air system, but sounded like crickets in the wall. The staff did not seem surprised when I complained. They moved our room, but it was 10:00 at night and we had to pack everything up. The rooms were cleaned, but not often stocked accordingly. Multiple times I had to call housekeeping because we were only left with 1 washcloth, or 1 towel. We did request our room be cleaned one night after 5:00 pm and they said they do not work that late, but there were several cleaning carts in the hallway at that time. Overall, I would stay here only because of the convenience of the equestrian facility. It is not a vacation spot.
- 3/5
I didn’t like that the room was without face towels and only had two bath sheets.
- 5/5
From the beginning to the end everything went very well. Great stay! Thanks
- 5/5
We had a detour and this was a good reprieve for overnight to rest excellent comfortable beds really clean and great staff
- 5/5
Atmosphere
- 5/5
You cannot go wrong, with this casino...absolutely the best place
- 5/5
I enjoyed the bowling arcade and equestrian center the casino as well
- 3/5
It’s not bad for families
- 5/5
Excellent room. So clean. Had a really good night. Will be back
- 5/5
South point offers all you need for the Vegas experience. If must see the lights stay there and have a perfect place to come back to away from the chaos
- 5/5
Hi
- 5/5
My favorite casino/hotel in Vegas.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great. Staff are amazing!
- 4/5
Having so many restaurants was wonderful and we enjoyed every meal. Our room was very basic, queen beds stable with 2 chairs and reading chair and ottoman and a very nice sized dresser. My matter was was in need of replacement and the pillows were lumpy, heavy and didn’t support my neck well (I tried all three on my bed). We opted not to have daily maid service but our room was clean and tidy when we arrived.
- 5/5
Nice rooms, nice casino
- 5/5
excellent property and stay
- 5/5
Been coming here for years, always good
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 4/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
A lot to do at the hotel
- 4/5
Atmosphere and property was above average. Rooms are nice but feel a bit dated especially the furniture and bathrooms. The restaurants minus the buffet were excellent and reasonable. I was kind of surprised they charge resorts fees even though they’re not on the strip. I rate the hotel and experience 4.2 stars. More of an old western style family based resort which is not a bad thing.

Very friendly staff from my arrival to my departure. Rooms were clean & had a pleasant smell. The pool was never crowded. The food choices were vast, you really didn't have to leave for food and there was alot to do from bowling, movies, arcade and things going on at the hotel. I felt very safe coming & going nomatter what time of the day or night. The nightly rate is great with reasonable resort fees and no parking fees (which is great) with plenty of parking. I differently can't wait for my next trip.
- 5/5
This hotel has it all. A bowling alley, great ice cream, 11 restaurants. The parking was easy and the room was beautiful.
- 5/5
I stayed at South Point for a horse show. I was so pleased at the cleanliness. I saw staff in constant cleaning mode with a smile on their lips and a song in their heart. The security was comforting. I felt safe. Every encounter I had was pleasant.
- 5/5
First of all out entire trip was made when we were greeted by Jamie at reservations, she went out of her way to get us settled. Loved the cafe and our view of the pool did not suck. Highly recommend a stay the hotel is beautiful and we were treated 5 stars.
- 5/5
Holiday buffets are not different enough to charge $10+ more. Other than that the pool is good size the happy hours are great. Having a bowling alley and movie theater is a bonus. Quick 15 to the strip. Rooms are nothing fancy but clean and beds are comfortable. Overall great stay!
- 5/5
Good location, easy parking, great hotel layout for easy access everywhere. Surprisingly great restaurants.
- 4/5
Great memories.
- 4/5
The hotel was pretty. The only complaint is it was hands down the WORST bedding. 3 pillows for 2 people and they were flat and awful! The “comforter” was thin and looked really cheap. The pillows though were the worst! I was really surprised that it was so bad.
- 4/5
The room was great and the pool was nice. We had a very relaxing stay. The Buffet is not worth the hype but the regular cafe had amazing food! The casino itself was very smoke smelling unlike some of the other places we have stayed.
- 3/5
The shower is terrible. You can’t Adjust it before you get blasted
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean very spacious bathrooms in the casino itself was just great. Will be back.
- 5/5
Staff friendly and professional
- 3/5
Room had no view, just a wall, air handler and transformers. I have stayed at south point at least 10 times as my wife and I like the amenities but this room was a disappointment.
- 5/5
The linens & towels are the best!
- 5/5
Clean update rooms, clean outdoor pool and area, friendliest staff.
- 5/5
Nice space for more than one person The shower was clean and had great pressure
- 5/5
Great overall stay with plenty of things to do for the kids.
- 4/5
The rooms were very clean.
- 5/5
Great first time staying there.
- 5/5
Restaurants were good and could get a reservation. Good prices for good food! Also coupon book for free items or money off for the savers in the group!! A shuttle is also available at no cost to/from the airport! Highly recommend
- 4/5
Spa was closed so that was a bummer. No room service and a lot of restaurants don’t allow take out. Slots were ok and I won more than I lost!
- 5/5
Great place to stay for a quick over night.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Great staff. Clean well kept. We will currently b back again.
- 4/5
The room was nice and spacious...bed was a little too soft...overall was a nice, clean room...
- 4/5
Didn’t leave the resort the whole stay liked the movie theater. And everything was reasonably priced.
- 5/5
It was great! Comfy bed, great size room. No soap or lotion other than that it was perfect!
- 5/5
Great pool, free parking.. lots of slots.
- 5/5
Lived it! Give it 5 stars! Big beautiful room, everything you need is there!
- 5/5
Me encantó,está super
- 5/5
Clean room. Very nice staff. Lots of amenities.
- 5/5
Great room Great Pool and Casino Rodeo was on so enjoyed ourselves immensely
- 5/5
Love the casino, lots to do, clean rooms, free parking.
- 5/5
Room clean, bowling lanes were to oily and all the ladies had a hard time bowling. Never won any money on any slots!
- 5/5
I would recommend the pool be open by 9:00 instead 10:00 am for young families with small children. And open until at least 8:00 pm instead of 6:00 pm for adults to relax by the pool. Very disappointing we couldn’t use the pool! However our room was very nice overlooking the pool area.
- 5/5
Love that they provide transportation to the airport.
- 3/5
Did not have great luck at this property. Got up to our room, and the AC was broken, on a day the temps, were almost 90°. 2nd immediate issue, was no hot water, not even warm water, really. Checked both the sink and shower. Let the shower run for a 20 min. The next morning we asked the desk to send up someone to fix. Got back 12 hrs later, and they said our request never got booked. They sent someone up, who said to let it run longer. We had hot water 1 night, then it was back to cold. For the amount we paid, the issues we definitely not worth it.
- 5/5
Overall experience at the hotel was great.
- 3/5
The rooms deadbolt did not work, which was sketchy. I reserved 2 rooms and asked for the same floor. We could not be further apart, but were on the same floor. It would have been quicker to take elevator. We did not eat there this time, but had the steak restaurant in the past and it has always been good, nothing spectacular. You get what you pay for I guess.
- 5/5
The atmoshphere and type of people who stay here are chill and relaxed. Not like the riff raff on the strip. Hotel was spacious and clean.
- 5/5
No complaints! Always stay there when I’m in Vegas! One stop hotel, great restaurants, great food, great slots!
- 3/5
We had a dinner at Silverado. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food, wait staff and everyone else was great.
- 5/5
Always have a great stay at SouthPoint when traveling there for bowling tournament
- 4/5
too crowded for me
- 5/5
Great hotel and perfect location with lots to do on site. Will be back in the future.
- 4/5
good hotel
- 2/5
Very average
- 5/5
I was sorprise that we asked for a crib and it took only a few minutes to get it, very good service and room cleanliness
- 5/5
Easy hotel to in and out of. Has everything and your off the strip so it’s less of a hazel to navigate. Everything was great
- 5/5
Clean room, great specials.
- 3/5
The food was great at every venue. The room was large and appeared clean. We did not sleep well, the bed was getting old, soft on the edge. Overall it is fine. No real issues, just not great.
- 5/5
Great place to stay in vegas
- 1/5
Blackout curtains didn’t close all the way so the lights outside were super bright all night did not sleep! Ac never got our room cool
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 1/5
The lamp on the night stand is defective. we lost three cell phones and one other device before realizing that the usb outlet was burning out batteries.
- 5/5
South Point is a great place to stay. Lots to do, movies , bowling , bingo, shows. I love staying at South Point, very clean rooms and helpful staff.
- 4/5
Great rooms and property. The smoke level in the casino is painful, need some serious air filtration.
- 5/5
Nicely property, Great dinner buffet
- 5/5
Didn't really do anything but sleep. Bed was comfortable
- 4/5
Room was clean. Casino was clean. There is no phone service and wifi instructions aren’t easily accessible. And it’s frustrating there’s different wifi for all areas of the casino.
- 5/5
Room was extra nice, way better than expected. On par with any regular room at a strip hotel. Also has a huge large vehicle parking lot, which was helpful as I had a large rental truck this trip. 👍😄
- 4/5
We can’t stay on any other hotels except south point. It’s like a one time shopping. Bowling, movies, eating, casinos
- 5/5
The service and food at all the restaurants were excellent.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Mahalo
- 5/5
Our only complaint was smoke, but I think it is better than it used to be. The room was nice sized, and clean. We had breakfast at Coronado, and it was good
- 5/5
Always gracious staff in housekeeping, resturants or floor managers.
- 4/5
Love the location, off the strip. Rooms are spacious. Don’t like the new resort fee that added $40 Cdn to our room price. Since it was still April, the pool closed at 6 pm so we didn’t get much time in it and the pool water is cold. Spa was closed. Buffet was good.
- 5/5
We always like staying here they have everything we need thank you
- 5/5
Food was good. Room was nice.
- 5/5
All was wonderful. Friendly staff. Great amenities
- 5/5
Great amenities
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, enjoyed my stay, coffee in rooms were delicious plenty if towels.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Proximity to get in the city. Free parking and the rooms were comfortable. Enjoyed the pool area and buffet.
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
clean room Curtain wouldn't close all the way sun in my 6:00 AM
- 5/5
Great all-in property for the price.
- 5/5
/
- 5/5
And a lot of dining options around.
- 5/5
Everything was great! We’re amazed… And will do it again.
- 5/5
Clean hotel with a lot of options for dining and entertainment. You can’t go wrong staying here.
- 5/5
Two teeny complaints: you have to use the bell desk services if you have more luggage than can be managed alone and resort fees were tacked on to the Expedia charges. I was under the impression I had paid for everything. Pay attention to the small print!
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Excellent!
- 4/5
Uniqe for me is that I can stay in the only hotel where I can smoke
- 5/5
Rooms were clean. Linens clean.
- 4/5
We had a good time there. Wish the pool and gym was open. Only thing i dilike was every time i went to the room people trying to sell time shares.
- 4/5
Pool not open. Room had no view.
- 5/5
Been to Vegas numerous times and stayed here because it was close to the house my friend was staying at while visiting Vegas. Turned out to be better than expected! Will be staying here next time I visit. Staff was very friendly and attentive
- 2/5
What was my total? 431.71 correct it
- 3/5
Decent stay but I felt scammed. Paid for a “premium view” room and was put on the second floor. The second floor! The view was the pool area that was closed for the season. At no time during booking is it mentioned that the pool and hot tubs are closed for the season. These areas look nice and are all over the website to sell rooms. If I knew they were closed I probably would’ve stayed elsewhere as the temps were great for it. The room was clean and comfortable. Just a bit stuffy. You can hear doors closing all night long. The steakhouse was amazingly good, other venues were affordable. Location, vibe, and amenities are very good for this hotel. I enjoyed the stay with the exception of feeling I paid too much for it.
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
Clean room. Fast check in. Great dining options and variety of entertainment.
- 4/5
Clean
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 5/5
Clean Hotel and Casino. Lots going on. Easy parking and good location.
- 5/5
Clean
- 4/5
Housekeeping did a great job.
- 4/5
yes
- 3/5
Smoky, cold room, and easy too expensive. The staff upon checkin asked for a "resort fee" which i had already paid. When i went to check out they asked again. I explained i already paid. Welp, they put it in my card. I got it back, but still that was annoying!
- 5/5
Everything was great from the check-in, cleanliness of the room, dining and check-out. I can't wait to return.
- 5/5
Always great to stay at South Point! The rooms are always clean and the staff are always attentive. There is always something to do with all of their different amenities.
- 5/5
Very convenient for bowling tournaments
- 5/5
I loved the fact that this resort has it all at one place-bowling, movie theatre, entertainment, great spa service for couples, wealth of good dining options, free parking, you name it and South Point has it. Great visit, we plan to return.
- 4/5
Nice for a quick overnight.
- 5/5
yes
- 4/5
Everything was nice & top notch but with zero extras. Just another stay, not a thing fancy.
- 5/5
Fantastic!!!! Loved the complementary slippers!
- 5/5
Clean and spacious room. Awesome amenities. Free parking.
- 5/5
The room was great. The staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Cool
- 5/5
This is our go to hotel in Vegas. The whole experience is wonderful. Free parking, super friendly staff, wonderful rooms, and the SP arena events are icing on the cake. It is economical and fun!
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
- 4/5
Clean room. Large room. Good restaurant choices
- 5/5
Wonderful accommodations and helpful staff
- 4/5
Room was Great.
- 5/5
Rooms were great, spacious very comfortable
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Grateful for the Starbucks at the main entrance, free parking and options for places to eat. The most noticeable thing walking into the building for me was the stench of cigarette smoke. I haven’t been in other casinos recently to remember if they all smell that way.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing except for the shower. The pressure was very low. You can barely feel the water coming out.
- 3/5
Everything was great except the smoking. As long as these Casinos continue to allow indoor smoking I can only give them 3 stars. And no, there was no non-smoking area in the casino gaming areas.
- 5/5
The room was wonderful for my boyfriend and I first time staying, Definitely staying here again.
- 5/5
Near perfect as usual
- 5/5
The deli food was amazing and employees super friendly. Same wuth gift shop.
- 5/5
All of the above
- 5/5
Couldn’t stay. Not of age.
- 5/5
I will stay again
- 5/5
The convenient location, happy hour specials and excellent restaurants were exactly what i needed. The staff was friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly and honest staff. Accidentally left credit card and $$$$ in room and it was exactly where I left it hours later after room had been cleaned. Great checkin staff and valet was super!
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Plenty of restaurants to choice from and the casino is great too!
- 5/5
Cleanliness of the room, the only downfall was that the elevators were not working properly
- 5/5
Its clean and family friendly. My family enjoyed our stay and wants to come back again on May
- 4/5
Great room but still had to pay resort fee with the pool & hot tub area closed
- 1/5
I was told nothing could be done because I booked through a third party. I understand policy limitations, but I expected basic courtesy. I even asked about paying for an upgrade and was dismissed in a rude manner. Although the room was clean, the negative check-in experience overshadowed everything. A simple and sincere “I’m sorry” would have made a difference. I will not be staying here again.
- 5/5
Love this hotel.
- 4/5
Clean rooms and amenities
- 5/5
Easiest parking in Las Vegas! Free
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious. Staff in all dept was very helpful and courteous. Rate was i think very reasonable for the value.
- 5/5
Excellent the rooms are comfy and clean can't wait to come back
- 3/5
However, the experience felt somewhat impersonal since I never interacted with any staff during my stay. I had to check in through a kiosk. While everything ran smoothly, it lacked that welcoming touch you sometimes appreciate at a hotel. One downside was being approached and pressured to attend a “free” seminar, which appeared to be a sales presentation. I did not appreciate feeling hustled while trying to relax and enjoy my stay. I would recommend the hotel for its facilities, but I hope management addresses the sales pressure guests may experience.
- 5/5
The room is always clean. Daily housekeeping. Accesible parking.
- 5/5
It was a great place off the strip to visit. The rooms were comfortable. I love the casino. Restaurants are great. Day spa was really nice. Everything is done well.
- 5/5
yes all good
- 5/5

- 3/5
The room was ok. It seemed clean enough but then I went to turn the tv on and the remote felt gross so what else did they miss? The towels are quite scratchy and super small. The showerhead was so high + not good pressure by the time the water got to me it was hard to wash out the shampoo+conditioner. Everyone wants a good shower. The staff was not friendly at all. I was surprised at the good reviews, I assumed theyd be consistent with their guests but they arent. Front desk check in girl was grumpy and then we asked for some extra towels and a few more pillows and the staff that broguht those up were also not friendly. Asked for a pac n play for my toddler and they brought up an old orphanage looking crib that was much smaller than a pac n play so it didnt fit the sheets and pad that I brought. This place is not family friendly. There are endless hotels to stay at and I will definitely look elsewhere next time Im Vegas bound.

Yes
- 5/5
Very nice room with lost of space. Clean shower and bathroom. Complimentary slippers were a bonus. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
When ever I stay there the rooms are always clean and the staff is always nice and helpful
- 5/5
The room was spotless.
- 5/5
Elevators were slow
- 5/5
Always a good time at south point
- 1/5
Staff, according to them the type of room i got has no view at all.
- 5/5
Nice room, clean, decent price
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Spacious and quiet and clean
- 5/5
All staff was very helpful
- 2/5
Elevators were not working . Or only had two working elevators had to carry ice chests down 21 flights of stairs . Lights burnt out in room . Asked to get two extra pillows took 3 hours to get them
- 4/5
However breakfast at the Coronado Cafe was not very good! Food was cold, sausage did not have a good taste. Just because the price is fair I would rather pay more and have better tasting food.
- 3/5
Ok
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
Amenities were great. Loved all the food options.
- 4/5
Room was good, clean and mostly quiet. (No hallway noise, but several nights loud engine revving could be heard well after midnight).
- 5/5
Yes, very clean
- 5/5
The room was clean!
- 5/5
Clean room great staff
- 4/5
Clean and a nice staff.
- 5/5
Yes always courteous
- 5/5
I think they need out water
- 5/5
Very nice and clean
- 5/5
Hotel was great, only issue was the amount of elevators that weren’t running. 25 floors and 2 elevators doesn’t really work.
- 4/5
The room was very clean and classy. Everyone dealt with was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Everything was great from the staff and the room was clean.
- 4/5
Large room
- 5/5
Clean rooms and helpful staff
- 5/5
Room was spotless and quiet. Staff was pleasant and helpful as always.
- 5/5
Not a bad stay, rooms are spacious, food at the Mexican restaurant was surprisingly good for Valentine’s Day. Check in was smooth, room was clean, towels and toiletries were missing but nothing terrible.
- 3/5
Shower was leaking down the wall. Three elevators were out making trips to the casino very long and inconvenient. So much so that we decided to just order room service instead of waiting 20 minutes for the elevator to one of the restaurants. Food was good though but the casino was packed.
- 5/5
The room was great. It was large, clean and nice.
- 3/5
Lighting in the room was dismal. Not a very comfortable stay. Fitted sheet came off of mattress immediately.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay at this property. My only complaint is that the hotel common areas were very cold. Bring a warm jacket or wear layers with a sweatshirt. It was colder inside then outside!
- 4/5
Casino and restaurants are very good
- 5/5
We had a great time. We are not smokers and a few atrium areas inside of the casino area would be fantastic. Second hand smoke is harmful.
- 5/5
Rooms where clean, Did n it smell like some nasty Hotel with cigarette smell, looked luxurious in some type of ways parking maybe was a little bad not because there was no parking spaces but only because there was no parking near the elevators that take you to your room but not really a big problem this was my family’s first time staying here and it definitely will not be the last loved it definitely recommend
- 5/5
Amenities all around you why would you go anywhere else.
- 5/5
Nice place with many things to enjoy!
- 5/5
Great value Got in really late so didn’t explore as much as I had hoped
- 4/5
Room was great! The $20 gift certificate was only good for slots, so ended up not being particularly useful or fun
- 5/5
South point has a lot of options. Food and activities
- 5/5
Breakfast was amazing and fresh, clean rooms, and helpful staff.
- 5/5
We had a great experience at South Point in Las Vegas! The check-in process was quick and hassle-free, and our room was spotless and comfortable. We also loved the variety of dining options, everything we tried was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!
- 5/5

- 5/5
Yes the room was excellent the staff was excellent
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Not being in all the hustle and bustle Vegas was extremely nice. The hotel offered many things to do for adult adults and kids. The food was affordable.
- 5/5
The women’s spa was amazing! Buffet great! Room was nice and large as well as clean.
- 5/5
Did not eat breakfast but the food was fantastic.its winter so no pool
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable rooms, kind staff. Will stay again!
- 4/5
Yes, food was not really good.
- 3/5
No mountain view as expected. Poor noise insulation—especially in the morning with housekeeping knocking in the next room and noticeable noise from the room above.
- 5/5
Also, contrary to strip hotel complaints about tourism being down recently, this hotel was jammed.
- 4/5
Love everything about the resort except for the dining choices.
- 1/5
It's honestly not a family atmosphere. If you're not 21 or older, never take your kids there. They have absolutely nothing for kids. Except a overpriced, broken arcade. the pool was broken, so i couldn't even take the kids to the pool and that wasn't mentioned upon checking in or I would have went somewhere else..
- 5/5
roomsclean
- 4/5
Rooms are always clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Customer service was okay breakfast at Coronado Restaurant was terrible I’m very sick.☹️
- 5/5

Yes
- 3/5
- 5/5
We did not eat breakfast there so I cannot read that.
- 4/5
Everything was pretty good
- 4/5
The room was spacious. I was told it would be a "premium room with a view". It overlooked their pool and hot tub area plus allowed me a great view of all the fireworks on New Year's Eve! It had a small refrigerator and Keurig but no microwave. I also had the pleasure of receiving a day at the spa. Vichy Shower with Tiffany was excellent as was the hot towel stone massage with Sobeda.
- 5/5
Wish I had booked more than one nights stay. Room, food, gift shop prices were very affordable. Food was very good. Loved our New Years stay there. This will be my hotel of choice the next time we fly out to Vegas.
- 5/5
Easy check in, clean room, great water pressure in the shower.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5

- 5/5
Verry relaxed and calm , and the cleaning too tier
- 5/5

- 5/5

- 4/5

- 5/5
Nice clean rooms, great eating places, entertainment movie theater, and liqour store all within the resort
- 4/5
Staff was wonderful! Room was very clean and the food was great!
- 5/5
We stayed for New Years Eve and the room was better than any of the hotels I have stayed in over a 2 year period. Room was spacious, clean, up to date, bathroom was large and nice. Security was everywhere and plenty of bars and restaurants.
- 5/5
Todo muy bien exelente muy limpio
- 5/5
Enjoy their buffet
- 5/5
Room was very clean and check in process was very smooth.
- 4/5
Ordered room service and the gentlemen was such a nice guy!!! Also appreciate the complimentary slippers.
- 4/5
Had to pay $25 to check in an hour early . Paid over $325 for a room to have zero view and face another building . Front desk was rude . The staff at Silverado steakhouse very nice .
- 5/5
Many upgraded games!
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. We rented multiple rooms for family get together. Everyone had a great time—old folks, kids, and grandkids.
- 5/5
Clean room, staff was very attentive, easy to navigate, and we're willing to accommodate for busy situations. Also having access to some restaurants that were open late.
- 5/5
Drinks are cheap. Cocktails are $6 and beer was $3. You will find music in the lounge or showroom. We love the Spazmatics group.
- 5/5
My room was clean and comfee, will be bookijg here again
- 5/5
So clean and comfy! Easy parking options. Great food choices and easy check in. Quiet hallways at night
- 5/5
Easy parking, clean room. Didn’t get to enjoy the property much as was visiting family in town.
- 4/5
The staff was great and good food.
- 5/5
Cleaning staff was always working, emptying trash cans in tournament bowling area to cleaning entry way carpet. Very impressed, especially considering the size of the building
- 5/5
Clean room and very spacious!
- 5/5
Pleasant staff, a very nice room, and really great restaurants
- 3/5
To far from the registration too the rooms
- 5/5

- 4/5
Good vibe
- 5/5
Everything was great 😃👍
- 5/5
Great place but pricey. Awesome restaurants and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, great atmosphere, large sports book
- 5/5
I would stay here again
- 3/5
Staff could be friendlier at check in.
- 5/5
Painless checking
- 4/5
The hotel had many activities and food choices available The front desk wasn’t very helpful in planning activities outside of the hotel, but everyone else was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Large rooms and remodeled bathroom
- 4/5
Nice room, we had breakfast buffet, and Mexican at restaurant and both were good. Smoke smell was gross, but it is what it is!
- 5/5
Everything was great, from the ease of initial check in to the entire Vegas experience and having everything including gambling (Sportsbook, Poker room, slots, etc) to every type of quality restaurant you can imagine (Steak house, Italian, Mexican, Seafood, Buffet, etc). My family and I can't wait to return.
- 5/5

Everything was excellent!! Pricing very affordable! They gift you a coupon book with plenty of free food , drinks and multiple discounts! I enjoyed it much more than staying right at strip! Hotel staff extremely helpful!

Quiet, spacious rooms

The resort was fine but far from the strip. Pool was closed for winter. The buffet was nice but crowded like crazy. The rooms and overall space looked dated. Some staff were good but some were not friendly especially the checkin staff. If i were to book again, i would go with Mandalay bay or something in the strip. However the nice things were food choices, family entertainment like theatre bowling etc.

I like the Southpoint Hotel because it's local, affordable and has free parking not to mention the restaurants movie theater and bowling alley. The rates for the rooms aren't the lowest and unfortunately locals still have to pay resort fees and several hotels in the city drop the fees for locals but the owner treats his customers very good and the bottom line is the establishment will not break your wallet and that means a lot in this current environment.

Awesome stay. The only minor gripe I would have is the beds and a little firm, but that's almost not even a gripe.

The hotel is rat infested. We saw a big rat in our room and when we reported it, the management did nothing to resolve the issue. They denied a different room and no one bothered to come in the room to take the rat out. Stay away from this dump.

Staff was nice but the rooms need an urgent update. Everything is old.

We really enjoyed the stay! The room was spacious, and we appreciated all of the dining options under one roof. The staff at check in and dining were all very polite and friendly.
