Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall

It's a good location, and very clean, my only complaint is, not enough channels on the tv.

Everytime we come to Las Vegas we always stay at Sam’s town! There is so much to do!! We love the Bowling Alley and the Movie Theatre! Great places to eat and the Atrium is so beautiful! The value is also great! The rooms are also so nice! Great value!! We live close so we come quite often!!

The place was great and clean. Only problem was the person working in the morning on the service counter. Bad attitude makes me not wanna come here again..

Very nice hotel. Super clean and smelled good. They could use some new mattresses and definitely pillows! Steakhouse was excellent!

You wouldn’t even have to leave the property if you didn’t want to. Lots of food choices, there’s a movie theater, water show at night, nice pool and hot tub. It’s a bit far (like 7 miles) from the strip but if you’re just looking for a relaxing few days, can’t beat it. Has entertainment for kids and their parents.

Staff was very helpful in checking in and room was clean and cold not warm or hot like some other hotels. Casino was small but it wasn’t packed so it had a good environment to it. Hidden gem when checking in!

Room was very nice and very clean. Food choices were excellent, parking was easy, and the park area was beautiful. My only complaint was the slot machines were worn, old and a poor variety if that’s what you’re after.

Stayed 3 days over Memorial Day Weekend. Overall the hotel was great. I would have given 5 starts for cleanliness but the tub did not drain well and left dirt behind. In additionally the room cleaning was limited. When we checked in we were told it would be cleaned every other day (which was fine with us) but then when we ran out of supplies we found out there was not intention to clean the room unless we asked. We still we unable to get the room made up after asking, but they at least sent the new supplies (Towels, soap, etc.).

We were very satisfied with our stay! It was a quick turnaround, but worth it. Rooms were extremely clean, staff were friendly (from reception to the restaurants). And the price is super affordable!

Staff was great. Internet access in rooms was not good at all, was non existent last stay. Beds are firmer than would like.

Sam's Town is a Casino in Stagnation and Decline. The room was clean, but the general atmosphere has stayed stuck in the mid 90s when they opened their indoor Animatronic Wildeness thing. Food at Smokey Joe's cafe was good, Recommend the Nachos.. but the food was very pricey for what it was. Casino had signs openly hostile to minors relating to curfews and extra rules I would not recommend bringing family here even though its billed as a resort. Many parts like the arcade, had odd hours and outright did not open. Large parts of the casino were boarded off either under renovation or just inaccessible. Staff was friendly and helpful but place was largely empty. Access to elevators and rooms was all key card entry, and was poorly designed, forcing you to backtrack and go around the property to gain access to places like the Fitness room, when you should have been able to just get it from the elevator like every other place. I chose this place because of location, but Boulder Station up the street would probably have been just as good.

On our first night there we had a tanish color stain on r bed sheet. Also would have been nice to have a coffee maker like most hotels do these days. However we did like the location of a Walmart near by and 7-11 store for liquor and water bottles and that made up for it not being on the strip. Also would like to see it mentioned when selecting the hotel thru hotels.com that they do charge hotel resort fees like most do these days. Wasn’t happy about that last minute surprise cuz that cut into my gambling budget

Sam’s Town was a first for us and I don’t plan to stay anywhere else from here on out. So many fun things to do even if you don’t want to gamble. Very friendly and accommodating staff, clean and spacious rooms, and a nice outdoor pool to cool off in on a hot Vegas day!!! Highly recommended

Hotel was nice and clean, I would stay again as long as the price stays reasonable. The only issue we had was on the first night. Neighbors nearby were playing loud music late at night and were talking very loud, It kept us up late and I kept wondering if our next 4 nights of our stay would be like this but fortunately they were gone next day and the rest of our nights were reasonably quiet. I suppose though if u are going to Vegas on a budget, expect little irritations like that but overall our stay was good and I would go back.

As someone who lived in Vegas years ago, I knew this was a good choice! My kids had so much fun and my husband and I had so much to enjoy as well. It’s the vegas without the crazy strip the crazy prices! A Walmart across the street!!!! And the show is Amazing!!!

Clean room but lacking inside room amenities. No smoking hotel, but you have to walk through a very smoky casino to get to your room. Pool is supposed to be "adults only" after 8pm, however it is not enforced. Very limited late night dining options. Would not stay there again.

Really friendly staff, I wish they had a better exercise facility. Not much of a gambler so I cannot comment on the casino.

The only downside is that it’s far from the strip. But the free parking is great, the staff was really nice and helpful, it has all different types of restaurants and a Dunkin’ Donuts for coffee. There is a Walmart right across the street in case you forget anything. We did have an issue with a clog in our tub, but they got there right away to fix it. We were really happy with our say, we will definitely stay there again.

I loved the feeling of escape from the atmosphere. It almost felt like an amusement park. Super magical. Reminded me of Knotts Berry Farm Ghost town a little. The glass elevators were so cute! I didn’t expect anything like this. I believe this gem in Vegas is worth to visit. The sounds of the water running were very relaxing and felt like camping. Love the open areas. The structure of the place was unique for me. Nothing like I ever seen before. This hotel belonged in the Strip honestly. But the prices were affordable and I loved how it was close to a Walmart.

Most everything was great but a few noticable things was The non smoking part of the casino was still smoking but that may be due to my lung issues, the 2 ply Scotts tissues were obviously for saving expense and what I find real annoying is the false advertising by many of the major resorts pertaining to shuttle service, buffets, current restaurants, even hair salons! I believe all this time since Covid has been more than enough time to get your amenities current.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The Casino and hotel was full of activities and food options. The courtyard waterfall and decor was a great place to relax. Parking was easy and convient. I really have nothing bad to say, I will definitely be putting Sam's on my list of go to Hotels for Vegas.

My experience was better than expected. The hotel has so many things to do and places to eat. We had an issue with our mini fridge but the staff replaced it right away. The room was clean, staff was very nice, casino was enjoyable and the A/C in our room worked very well. This is a place I would definitely come to again.

Bring earplugs could not sleep at all! Walls are so thin all morning could hear doors slamming not sure if it was housekeeping or what but back to back.

I’m not used to being in a facility where smoking is allowed. For anyone staying here, just go with the valet parking at the front entry. Parking is so far away, especially if you are dragging luggage!

Bit smoky in Casino but rooms good. Bed's really comfortable and loved clean towels. Very handy for coffee at Dunkin Doughnuts. Not much choice of food for coeliacs though. Had a couple of nice gluten free tacos which were nice. Would stay again.

Sam’s is a world in itself. You wouldn’t even need to leave if your main goal was to relax and gamble. Price is very reasonable. Surrounding area is sometimes a bit sketchy but we walk to places nearby with some frequency and have never had any issues.

Even though the hotel is located off the strip the rates were great the amenities were wonderful and it's a very big plus they have a bowling alley and a movie theater right there on the property so it's amazing if you have kids. We will definitely be staying there again.

Sam’s Town is always a great place to stay. Their food court doesn’t have a lot of options though and the pool is only open until 7. If they had better food and the pool stayed opened later, it would’ve been a 10/10 stay.

I pay $33 a day for amenities and I don’t have access to the pool with my room card and the Wi-Fi didn’t work one day I called the number to have it fixed but they told me it it would be fixed 24 to 48 hours by that time I’m gone had to go down to the front desk multiple times they only wanted to give me $25 that was unacceptable but the next day end up talking to the supervisor, and he give me $50 credit for food for the inconvenience so that was a good thing other than that, it was OK

Staff very polite and helpfull, rooms where clean but a little old for the floor carpet.

I felt so unsafe I left after the first night (of three) and when I called the front desk to let them know, they said they would refund me the last two nights (without my asking) and I thanked them and told them I really appreciate it. I have yet to see a refund or any indication that one is coming. I was followed around the property several times and felt unsafe going to the parking garage after dark to get my car. The property is dilapidated and is in serious need of updates both in regards to cleanliness and security.

Husband was there for a bowling tournament. He indicated that would have enjoyed the room. It was spacious and clean.

Very good value. The property and rooms are kept very clean for the age of the hotel. It seems very secure. The casino was fun and parking is easy. It was good to see security staff patrolling the parking areas regularly. When I visited the cafe they were a bit understaffed and I was told I could not be seated for a long period of time even though a whole section was empty. There is a food court as an alternative. The lobby, gift shop, and casino staff are friendly and helpful. I’d stay there again.

Have stayed at Sam’s in the past. Rooms have been remodeled and are it good condition. Much better than before. The atmosphere is great. Only complaint was that the buffet was closed. Wish they had more food options. But would recommend Sam’s to anyone.

This was my third stay at Sam's town. The room is always clean and spacious. The staff is helpful and friendly. I love playing bingo which is offered seven times a day! The casino floor is exciting and clean. Lots of options for table games or slots. A good variety of food options along with a movie theater and bowling alley. The gift shop has beautiful items and stocked with items you may have forgotten. There is a cute, free laser water show. The swimming pool has adult only hours. I wish the pool was open until 11:00. There isnt a life guard so why does it close at 7:00 during the off season? The king size bed should come with 4 pillows, not 3. I chose this resort because it was close to my parent's house. However, i really enjoy its location and will stay here every trip i make.

The rooms were very clean, safe for your family, the parking structure was quite far from the entrance to the check in but once you arrive to the check in area it is beautiful. If you are young looking keep your id on you at all times even if you have to leave your room for a second because the security staff will constantly harass you for it but it does keep the grounds safe so that is a plus to know if you are traveling with teenagers they won’t get themselves in trouble

Clean rooms friendly staff. They have many food businesses but no room service. They have rooms for the disabled... beds you can get on & off with ease & walk-in showers. Unfortunately the benches hurt my legs & it was difficult for me to control the shower heads with one arm. Other than that it was a pleasant stay

Basic room that was clean. Two person multi-day stay, 3 bed pillows. 3 towels. No extra blankets. No full size mirror. Bathroom lighting too dim. Smokey Joes + The Angry Butcher are good restaurants, the rest is fast food. The garden area is nice but the animals are getting noticeably worn. Not in an area close to other places you might like to go.But good basic hotel - free parking, expensive resort fees.

It’s not in an upscale area, but was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful atrium. Our room was fine crisp sheets, pillows were hard We don’t walk the strip anymore. There is a Walmart across the street for incidentals u may need. Roberto’s taco in food court has 1.59 tacos on Tuesday, I get full from one crispy taco I’m old though. Also has McDonald’s, Panda Express subway n two restaurants Light show scheduled in the evening All employees were nice.

I always love coming to Sam's Town. Check in is easy, the rooms are cute and clean, great showers, nice food selection, and I love sitting at the bar by the waterfall. So relaxing. My room had a fridge which was great but I'd love a microwave in there too. Housekeeping was very prompt as well.

Toilet paper and tissues fell apart when used. Pat dry and it fell apart. Not a good sign, when Sam's Town doesn't care about a persons hygiene.

Great hotel for the price. Certainly not Encore or Caesars Palace but a fantastic mid casino/hotel. The atrium with the light show is entertaining with a drink in hand. It is off strip so a bit inconvenient to get to Las Vegas Blvd but definitely worth the stay. Highly recommended!

From what I saw, the quality of the clientele was somewhat less than you might find on the strip, and we didn't win on the slots, but the hotel was very clean, and the services such as restaurants were abundant and easy to find. The only thing I didn't like was that my wife and I are somewhat handicapped, and were looking forward to the 'free" valet service. It was blocked off by the hotel's security for the entire time we were there with no good explanation as to why, and we had to make long walks to our car and back. It's a big sprawling hotel complex. All in all though, we may try it again.

We ate dinner at the steak place. Everything was à la carte and fairly expensive. I paid $60 for the worst steak I have ever eaten. The location was good; it was nice to be off the strip. Parking was free and vehicle charging is free. The bright spot was the employees. Every employee we interacted with was overly friendly and helpful.

The hotel was nice and clean, and overall I had a good stay. The room looked well kept and comfortable. The only issue I had was that the lamps with the USB charging ports didn’t work, so I wasn’t able to charge my phone in the room and had to go out to my car. That was definitely inconvenient. Other than that, everything else was okay.

Loved this hotel! The inside is awesome! The rooms were clean and well kept. Beds could be a little more comfortable but overall would recommend! Especially if you're looking for something off the strip.

I was only supposed be charged the resort fee on check out. I got some mysterious additional charge. Rip off! We left the room super tidy, we made no noise, there is nobreasonnfor the additional charge.

Lobby was noisey with all the water falls running and then there was the light show going on when I checked in (6PM) and made it very hard to hear the desk clerk - had to yell to hear. Verry generous serving at the sit down restaurant.

Thin walls! Sex and disgusting noise. My daughter and I were kept awake off and on ALLLL night long. When we called to complain the first time, around 11 pm, nothing was done. Had we known it would continue for the ENTIRE night, we would’ve asked to change rooms. We ended up wearing ear pods for the night but still didn’t sleep well. When we called again at 7:30 am, once again, NOTHING was done. The “neighbors” lied and said it was quiet all night long. There was no apology or reimbursement from Sam’s Town. We will NOT stay there again. We travel there several times a year for horse shows because Sam’s Town is near the horse park. From now on we will stay further away in a nicer establishment.

Not only was our room spotless, but it was also overlooking the Mystic Falls atrium. What a spectacular view of the nightly laser show! This casino is highly family friendly! My daughters bowled a few games, we played in the arcade, ate at Smikey Joe's and had ice cream before bed. This was a much needed and enjoyed family staycation!

Our stay was good however when we got there we were assigned a room that had not been cleaned yet. Had to go back to guest services to get a room that was cleaned.

The place was nice, special design and concept but the cigarette smell was everywhere, everywhere. The worst is that our room in the 9th floor smelled the cigarette like the casino down at the Looby so we had an awful sleeping. I won't return to this place in the future and I don't recommend it to non-smoking people.

The workers at the bowling desk were pretty rude,and in the snack area the employee said it was her day off but they we too busy. She was super nice though.

The property is a little outdated. The toilet should be replaced due to visible scratches and worn coating on the seat. Other than that, my family had a very pleasant stay.

Staff are always patient with any inquiries. My only hiccup would be the TV signals. It's fine having a 55 inch or so TV, except when trying to watch the 10 or so regular Channels while the picture freezes or buffers annoyingly gets tiresome.

The bathtub was slippery; no mat…if either my husband or I had slipped and fallen, we would own Sam’s Town after our lawsuit! There was no shampoo/conditioner/bodywash container mounted to the bathtub wall, nothing but cheap little tubes of shampoo and conditioner, as well as horrible smelling little bars of soap. The towels were as rough as sandpaper. The casino restaurants are nothing to write home about. We had a meal at Smokey Joe’s and the food was tolerable but the service was very slow. The other options weren’t much better. We made a reservation for 3 nights, but checked out after two. We were refunded the resort fee for the third night and that was the end of it. No interest on any employee’s part to hear our complaints. We will never go back!!

The room was great but I wish there was a coffee pot in the room because both of us are handicapped and have trouble getting around. Or eaven room service would be nice so at least we could get coffee without having to go out to soon. But for now we have to go somewhere else to get coffee so we go to Arizona charlies for breakfast.

This is a nice, pleasant off-strip hotel and casino. The price was really good for the value. The rooms were nice and clean, plenty of space. Parking was convenient in an attached covered garage. We liked the nature theme and the animatronic show. Restaurant options were great too.

We primarily stay at Sam’s Town as a stopover on our way to California. Our room is always clean and our kids love the atrium. It’s also nice to have multiple food options readily available as well as many non-adult activities to do.

We had a king sized bed. It was odd that it only had 3 pillows instead of 4 so that we could each have 2. We were also there for a couple of days and didn't know we would need to request to have the room cleaned after the first night. Those were the only downsides which weren't bad at all.

We love that there are many food choices right on sight. Staff always seems friendly. Rooms are old and outdated. Lighting is dim and lack of a fan in the bathroom should be updated. Also TV channel selections are very poor.

Tim Valet parking was very helpful in assisting me to get a taxi at 4 am in the morning. The rest of the people were friendly.

Served my purpose once we found the room Front desk gave me incomplete directions as to how to reach the hotel portion from the parking garage We were exhausted and it was truly frustrating Then the security guard tried not to hear me when I asked for assistance after we found the walkway but only a sign with an arrow that said elevator but was a single door leading to who knew where? He gave me a lengthy set of directions and then I asked what about this door and he said “Oh yeh, that will get you to the elevators” Carpet made it very difficult to roll our Samsonite luggage

It was overall clean. However the room we were in had a vent system flap that would open when the fan will click on then will LOUDLY SHUT like a door slamming when the fan turns off. It bothered us during hours of sleep.
