Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating the clean rooms, great water pressure in the shower, convenient location, and friendly staff. However, some guests have issues with the small toilets, lack of proper cleaning, and rude or lazy staff. Safety concerns such as drug deals, prostitution, and loud nightclub noise were also mentioned.

Great location for walking to Fremont street and taking a Lyft to the strip!

Poolside rooms are relaxing. The Adult side is for your party groups. Its a quick walk to Fremont Experience and you can pick up the Duece to the Strip its $8 for 24 hours and well worth it.
- 5/5
No bugs. No bugs. Worth it to stay here. The bus runs right down the street over, and you can take the bus down to the strip. It is like a 4-5 mile drive to the strip. Even better if you have your own car. The pool was icy cold. I jumped in and back out, though it was cooling down and sun was setting. So day swimming is suggested. On a hot day though, that's what we need sometimes. Thanks for the nice stay.

My keys didn't work after I lugged all of my stuff up and over to the other building and six floors to the end of the hall. Im only one so not like I could leave my stuff there and walk back i had to wait for a staff to bring me new keys sitting in the hall. The sink massive leaked water all over the floor anytime it drained I had to use a whole set of towels on that to keep the water maintained. The floor was very dirty, spots like spilled liquids I can tell it's not been mopped in a long time, my feel were so dirty from walking around on a "clean" floor??? Nope!! TV screen was also very dirty. Why??? comforter had some red food on it that wasn't mine i saw in the morning that grossed me out because it was hidden by "clean sheets" right by my face. AC unit buttons were pinched out so you had to put your fingers into the unit to turn it off or on. Which doesn't seem safe at all. The toilet was also not clean there was urine under the toilet seat on the bowl and the base of it which means they only surface clean probably just the seat nobody ever touches the bottom of the bowl or the base. That's gross. Piss.

Check in was amazing. The lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Very noisy. They provide earplugs, but those unfortunately irritate my inner ears. I wish there was a fridge in the room.

I'm not lying, this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The pictures they show online are nothing like the hotel itself. The female manager is racist, rude, disrespectful, and has no values. She's completely unhelpful. Please report this hotel to the authorities so it can be inspected and they can't continue deceiving more people. And the websites that promote it should check their reviews before recommending something as awful as this hotel.

Excellent stay! Everything was clean, worked properly, and we had no complaints at all. The bar, arcade games, and outdoor lawn games made the hotel especially fun and gave us a nice break from the busy streets of Las Vegas. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Would not recommend. Parking lot made me feel extremely unsafe. Was unaware my room would be above a bar and night club. Was expected to pass through the parking lot multiple times just to check in and then go back through to go through the club entrance. Ended up not even staying. Reserved elsewhere.
- 4/5
The staff was a amazing and helpful! The room exceeded my expectations and the pool was clean and inviting.
- 3/5
Our recent stay presented a few challenges. The bathroom, unfortunately, was not as clean as we had hoped, with some hair observed on the shower walls, and the light switches and bathroom doors appeared quite soiled. We also found ourselves wishing we had reserved rooms further from the club and bar area. The rooms felt rather muggy, and initially, navigating through the club to reach our accommodations was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the ice machine and snack options were located on the opposite side of the hotel. Parking at night proved to be quite difficult, as there weren't many spaces reserved for hotel guests, leading us to pay for parking elsewhere. Perhaps staying in the hotel by the pool would be a better option, a detail I was not aware of when booking through an application. Furthermore, we had to retrieve our own toilet paper and toiletries, as one of the rooms was not stocked. This establishment might be more suitable for college students. Staff was excellentand very friendly!

Great spot if you’re looking for something off the strip. Rooms were clean and surprisingly did not hear any noise even though we had a room next to the backyard bar!

Great little room for the price, got it for three nights, and I was comfortable. Even great that there's a nightclub downstairs, bar, and games. Pretty cool. Only factor I dislike is the limited amount of parking during weekends because everyone is there to party, I was circling the parking lot from 12:40 to 1:15 AM, trying to find a spot. Other than that, I'd say reserved parking is a necessity for guests that stay at the hotel, but great little hotel downtown!

I love this place and choose to stay here whenever I decide to stay in the Downtown Las Vegas area. It has old Vegas charm and lots of evening activities. When I stay I usually call my local friends and we make this the party spot for the night! It’s close to Freemont Experience and if they are having roller skate night you cannot miss it!

Localizaton, parking The lady at reception was trying to charge us additionally for services (parking, WiFi) which were already included in price I paid in advance. She was trying to convince me that or I pay additionally or she will cancel my booking and I will have to look for other accomodation. However, when I told I will clame it at Booking.com (as I had a confirmation) suddenly she didn’t request additional payment.

The drinks are better priced than other parts of the strip. You have to park across the street(uncovered), not sure if theres security or cameras in the parking lot but i parked my car there for 4 nights without incident. Everything you might need is very close. Freeways are very accessible. I went alone, this place is best for a group thing. No slots/no casino. Instead its pool tables, pin ball machines, and other arcade games and a backyard to hang and play. At 10 pm, it becomes a nightclub!

Check in was very complicated and the person working the desk was neither friendly or helpful. If u are staying in a regular room you go in and out of the bar. Hallway was smelly but room was fairly nice (newer finishes). Not as clean as I would prefer but it was ok. Easy walk to Fremont.

Don't know if the bar was stocked up place was clean the people that worked in the bar was very nice very nice the parking lot was safe it was full of cars yes the only problem I had I had got a bagel and some coffee Thursday morning and got sick off that bagel but other than that the experience was very cool and nice.

We had a very disappointing experience with this hotel and the way guests are treated. We arrived late in the evening after a very long drive from another city with and had a confirmed reservation. We are international travelers and had been on the road for many hours, expecting to check in and rest after a long journey. At check-in, the front desk required a security deposit using a physical bank card only. We offered to pay the deposit in cash or via Apple Pay, but both options were refused without any attempt to help or find a solution. Even after we explained that we had traveled for many hours and had nowhere to stay that night in an unfamiliar city, our reservation was simply cancelled on the spot. What was especially upsetting was the complete lack of basic customer care. We were left waiting for about an hour with no assistance, no alternatives offered, and no consideration for our situation. This kind of treatment of guests is unacceptable, especially when families arrive late after a long trip relying on a confirmed reservation. We strongly do not recommend this hotel. If you do not have a physical card with you, you may be left without a room late at night. It is especially important to note that the requirement for a physical bank card for the deposit was not clearly communicated in advance during the booking process. If this information had been clearly stated beforehand, we would have prepared accordingly. Instead, we were left without accommodation late at night after a long journey. This is unacceptable for a hotel operating in a major tourist city.

- 5/5
The property and staff were very friends and clean. I love how secure it was even with a downstairs club attached to the hotel. The walking distance from the hotel to Fremont was amazing no need for an uber or taxi. Definitely will be staying at the gold spike again. Nothing everything about the property was amazing
- 2/5
Location was great, couple minute walk from Fremont Experience and Deuce bus stop. D'harlynn at the front desk was very informative. The room was on top of a nightclub and outdoor entertainment venue ( Thurs to Sat, photo below but in daylight ). It was unbearably loud and we were awake until 2am. Would not recommend if you like a good night sleep (other days might be fine). Room was very basic.
- 3/5
Room was okay, bed sheets were dirty stained with makeup and pillows were yellow.. didn’t notice until morning since the stained part was on the corner of the sheet that gets tucked in for no one to see. Over all I guess that’s the quality you get for what you pay for. Not my first time staying at this place but definitely will be the last.

I absolutely love how comfortable this property makes me feel. The staff goes out of their way to help you with so much kindness and also goes over and above to make sure you are happy. The staff is the best part! D, Amy, Angel, Miguel, Crescendo and Princess are beyond hospitable. The Property it selfs has an old Vegas feel located right in the heart of the downtown area but just da enough away where it’s still quiet and even family friendly if you book poolside. I have stayed at several downtown properties and this by far is my fave. If you love to gamble it’s close by but if you don’t even better. I can’t think k of anything

I love the staff. Angel is just the sweetest as is Amy! They are so kind and calm and caring and friendly. Thelma too, she usually works evenings. She is patient and helpful and was really understanding. Miguel is so kind and has such a great disposition. Everyone is very kind ,and extremely accommodating. The property is peaceful and mostly quiet. They have a really cool outside area located outside of the Goldspike. Which has fun adult yard type games and also a bar attached to the Goldspike. Their facilities are clean and the rooms are comfortable. If you can afford the little extra money I would recommend booking the Oasis Poolside super suite! They are so perfect for a fun vacation or staycation. It’s located in the heart of DTLV just literally minutes in walking distance to Fremont street! What more could we want! Thanks Angel, Amy, Miguel and Thelma! You guys make all the difference. I wish that when you added a night or extended your rather process with the deposit don’t have to be given again. It’s hard to wait for the $100 sometimes when you’re in less than great financial times but I know that’s just policy in most cases.

Enjoyed our stay, enjoyed the location.
- 5/5
I don’t like the bed
- 5/5
I have stayed here MANY times and it’s always a great place to be anchored in Las Vegas. It’s smaller than other no casino but living here in Las Vegas, locals don’t always want a casino in their hotel lobby. The staff here is always great, especially during check in, and I’ve never had any issues with any room I’ve stayed in. The Oasis side of the property is more quiet than the Goldspike side, but each side attracts their specific guest. Again no gambling on either but the Goldspike side has a “backyard” space with large scale games and other things to keep you entertained that’s one of the more unique spaces in Las Vegas that nobody will tell you about (or that nobody knows about) and it’s kind of an “Un-Vegas-y” thing you gotta check out for yourself.
- 4/5
Staff was amazing. Hotel had a funky smell of onions
- 3/5
I love the property the only thing I did not like is I do not have parking it’s off property parking I got two parking tickets over the weekend. I won’t stay again because of the parking situation
- 2.5/5
Room was large and clean. Had to ask for bedding for the sofa bed. No in room coffee. No Microwave. The SMELL was attriocious. The noise was even worse.
- 5/5
This hotel for the very reasonable price was in a great location, had clean and spacious rooms, and I appreciated the free coffee I could grab on my way out the door every morning.
- 4/5
No frig or micro in room
- 5/5
I loved the front desk staff. MOST IMPORTANTLY ANGEL! She was a breath of fresh air. So kind, hospitable and understanding! Plus.. the music she was Playing was so great. She made me feel like family. She went out of her way to Try and find us a room Even though they were sold out due to a big huge event in DTLV. She encompasses everything a hospitality business could want in an industry that should focus on mlaing their guest feel welcome and happy! Also the downtown cool vibe of both the poolside rooms and even the finale rooms Both have their own Unique feel and bring something a little different to the experience than any old average downtown musky old fashioned hotel here can sometimes feel like BORING OR KINDA YUCK. They have a great front desk area with a little snack shop and also elevators if you Should need them AND THEIR SUITES ARE LIKE A DREAM APARTMENT. It’s a humble yet unique way to spend your time if you’re looking to experience that downtime Las Vegas vibe! I wish their deposit was less.

Historic Las Vegas hotel in downtown. Walkable to Fremont Street.
- 3/5
The room was pretty bare and the shower wasn’t clean. Someone unlocked my door and walked in my room. I think it was a maid or handyman. Pretty good view from my room and there’s a casino first floor.
- 5/5
Clean rooms. No complaints. Part of the hotel is above a club but they give you ear plugs and the club closes at 2am so not too bad
- 4/5
Great pool and nice outside areas. Good value for the price. TV didn't work and staff took a day to respond. Tired but clean property
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great price. The hotel was unique and very different vibe. Not a negative vibe but different. Probably because of my age. But still enjoyed the stay

Smelled like sewage outside
- 5/5
The set up was a bit odd to start with, but by our 2nd day it was easy to navigate. Our room was clean, a bit dated but very functional. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Location could not be beat!
- 1/5
Staff were very professional & friendly but the AC was unnecessarily loud and the shower didn’t work. Botttom of the bathroom door was falling apart leaving nasty debris.
- 4/5
Great location to old Vegas and the pool is beautiful, the water was too cold for me, but it was nice to sit and relax. The only negative, which I don’t know if you can even blame the Oasis, is the sewage smell that is around the area. You also need to be sure that you’re booking in the right building, one is poolside and the other is through a club.
- 4/5
Everything was good
- 4/5
Nope.
- 4/5
The pool was beautiful, and the room’s marble floors and glass bathroom doors were gorgeous. I truly enjoyed my stay! However, the bedroom floor felt a bit dusty, and I noticed a couple of small flies or mosquitoes near the desk and in the bathroom. I hope these small issues can be addressed, as everything else was wonderful. Key Improvements Made:
- 4/5
Convenient to Fremont Street, local bars with DJ’s. Only thing I wished it had was a mirror besides the one in the bathroom.
- 3/5
No phone in room, my shower was leaning I almost fell more than once while trying to shower and no phones in the room to call front desk
- 5/5
Good but really small rooms and club gets very loud at night.
- 5/5
It was slightly smaller and a bit louder, but nothing that took away from our overall experience. The location is hard to beat—just a quick 2-minute walk to Fremont Street Experience. Plus, Gold Spike itself has a great bar, tons of games, and such a fun, lively atmosphere. This has definitely become my go-to place to stay in the area, and I’ll absolutely be back!

We arrived early, left our luggage with the front desk, and came back at 3pm. The front desk ladies were very nice, told us about the night club, and outdoor activities, and gave us waters. All gates use a keycard in order for you to enter, we got into our room it was decent nothing fancy, showered, changed and went out. We arrived back to our hotel around midnight, maybe a little later, used our key cards to enter the property. We were then stopped by a "security guard" blocking and holding close the gate that led to our hotel tower. He told us " you can not come through here go all the way around the building and enter through the night club"... WHAT ?? We explained this is our hotel, we are not trying to go to the club, and he refused to allow us through the gate that he was holding closed. We told him over and over this was our hotel and we needed to use the key card to get into this area, and now your telling us girl's to leave the property and walk all the way around the building..good way to keep your hotel guest safe.... So then we walk all the way back and around the block to the club entrance. Security now has to check our IDs and purses, and they made me throw away my water because they didn't know what it was... I offered to let them taste it....I was being spicy at that point because all of this made no sense.... Why would my bag need to be checked and why should I have to throw away my water to enter my HOTEL ??? HORRIBLE!!!
- 5/5
Well maintained older property in convenient downtown location. Excellent staff. Good value for the money. Clean comfortable room.
- 5/5
Had a great time!!
- 3/5
The hotel was nice, clean, and in a great location close to everything, which was very convenient. The front desk staff were also accommodating and helpful during our stay. However, overall, the experience felt more restrictive than relaxing. Accessing the hotel and our room was inconvenient, with multiple checkpoints just to get inside. Each night, we had to show both ID and our room key repeatedly, which became frustrating. At times, it felt more like a luxury prison than a place to unwind. Additionally, I was asked to put my shoes back on within minutes of stepping into the play area and garden patio with artificial grass, which took away from the comfort of the space. While there were definitely positives, the inconvenience of navigating through multiple gates and constant security checks made the stay less enjoyable. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again because of that.
- 2/5
This hotel was not what I expected. Maybe I should have researched it better and read more reviews, but I really didn't enjoy my stay. It felt very unwelcoming from the start the fact you have to press a Buzzer to enter through a closed metal gate to get to the lobby to check in. Once checked in, you have to go back out the gate, walk through the parking lot around the other side of the building and enter what seems like a night club to access the rooms. We had to pass by what seemed like a bouncer type person who just sat at the door who also looked unwelcoming while watching us wrangle our luggage through the door. The hallways had an overpowering scent that smells like a mixture of pot, smoke, and strong perfume. This is definitely not a place I'd stay again
- 5/5
You pay for what you get definitely worth it but just know it’s dirty and the beds aren’t uncomfortable but again it’s super affordable
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful
- 3/5
The property is not in the greatest location, but fair. The staff was nice but the typical hotel services and not ideal. You have to go outside on the streets at night to get to the front desk services, and you have to go through a night club/game room/bar to get to the desk. My room was never cleaned the entire week, and I asked for extra towels and batteries and they were never delivered. the TV remote did not work I think batteries were dead. Ice machine didn't work always out daily, and it was located 4 floors down I was on 6th floor, Room was ok, the bathroom could have been cleaner, there was no closet area only wood pegs on the wall near the door. No iron no coffee, water or refrigerator and the bed was really bad they had cheap had mattress. The 1st night Monday night was quiet, after that it was loudspeakers thumping until very later at night. If you're coming to party with minimal services, this place is for you. if your here to work or bringing family, try another option. Hookers and beggars are available daily in the parking lot lol!
- 5/5
Oasis at Gold Spike definitely interesting. Its location is great- on Ogden and 1 block from the craziness on Fremont. I stayed in the Gold Spike building on 3rd floor. Gold Spike is a 24/7 bar and club, but I never heard sounds from the club at night (i heard car sounds which are ubiquitous in LV); the bar is great- indoor and outdoor sections with many legacy bar games- all free or reasonably priced. Sat night seemed to be a little crowded but typically the space is not crowded at all- inside or outside. Staff was very friendly and informative. I'd definitely stay there again
- 4/5
Nice pool, room ac working great for warm Vegas days. Staff was great.
- 5/5
Great staff, very safe for having a club on the 1st floor, super fun backyard, cozy room, and close to the Fremont street activities! This is my 4th stay here and I WILL be coming back
- 5/5
This hotel gave old Hollywood chill vibes.Really enjoyed the pool and the great music. Check in was so easy and staff was super friendly. The gym is easily accessible and nicely equipped.
- 3/5
What makes my ratings lower is because the guest room and hallways had a musty smell and the management obviously doesn’t have an issue with weed being smoked in the hotel as the hallways constantly smelled like Snoop Dogg had just walked through. I’m a bit concerned that the musty smell could possibly be mold but hopefully not as mold is not a good thing… Other complaint is around the pool area you constantly hear the sound of gates slamming. Would be nice if the gates could all have gas shocks installed and or the guests are requested to be considerate and not slam the gates… Thanks
- 3/5
Hotel was hot they should dig en
- 5/5
Nice for an Adult getaway. Don’t like the rules at the door. You have to enter the bar area every time to access your room and you have to let security know.
- 3/5
Even though it says over 21, the poolside area does allow kids, and they scream all night. Also, the casino next door becomes a nightclub on Friday and Saturday nights. Make sure you don't have a room by the elevator. Our TV connection kept going out and we had to keep calling for maintenance. The room was ok, was clean but older.
- 3/5
Very pleasant stay overall, especially thanks to the housekeeping staff — they were incredibly helpful and made a big difference. However, the interior is in poor condition and clearly needs renovation.
- 5/5
Will book again.
- 4/5
The reception staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodating. The room was not exactly as expected but comfortable and clean. Didnt have a full length mirror, iron or safe. But it was in a good location if you're going to freemont.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
What a little gem that my husband and I found. There is so much to say so let’s hope I fit it. All in the staff was amazing. The pool was very clean. I loved the 21 and over play area. It’s like a big arcade for adults. The security was amazing. The rooms were very clean. The only thing I would suggest three things the room needs a mirror so people can see their outfits for the day lol you need to put a trashcan in the room area and get softer pillows. Other than that it was amazing and I would definitely come back. You are near everything possible in this area. Restaurants Fremont, so much to do without having to take your car anywhere walking distance to everything I recommend this place 100%.
- 5/5
Nice pillows, great courtyard with games, and friendly staff.
- 2/5
I know it was a big weekend for hotels the days i stayed but, this hotel is not worth what i paid for it. Poor parking. Noisey street. Very poor communication with hotel staff. Even with the texting
- 5/5
Clean and quiet property. Well maintained. Definitely worth the price!
- 3/5
It was Ok
- 4/5
The staff were nice. The hotel doesn't provide kettle in the room but they gave me hot water whenever I asked.
- 4/5
The only thing I
- 2/5
Internet is very slow
- 5/5
Shop were near by. Fremont street very close
- 3/5
This is strictly a hotel and bar. Actually 2 hotels. A small family hotel where the front desk is located and the adults only tower. First impression is horrifying. You must buz in at a dingy parking lot gate. The family pool greets you. It was full of happy families on my visit. I stayed in the adults only tower which is accessed thru the bar entrance on Ogden st. The establishment is clean and interesting. The bar and patio area is full of games from cornhole to pool. Even a giant light bright on the wall. There is serviceable exercise room on the second floor. The entire building has a campus student union vibe. On my stay the place was quiet but i assume the place has a party atmosphere on weekends. Toiletries are provided even complementary ear plugs. You are on your own here. Little staff presence on the property. Maid services are on every 3rd day like so many discount properies. There are many restaurants to the west of the property. A 7/11 to the east and Fremont street is one block north. Value for price is reasonable. The college crowd should love the place. Older crowd will love the value. Don't judge the book by the cover. I would stay here again if on a tight budget.
- 3/5
A lot of homeless people around the hotel which made me feel unsafe.
- 2/5
No me gustó
- 3/5
Too loud but it was ok ..
- 5/5
Yes it’s very nice and laid back and safe
- 1/5
Booked on Expedia 2 months in advance and when we showed up to check in, there was an addition large deposit needed (on top of deposit already) plus and additional charge per day plus tax for amenities. There was also an additional fee for using a third party website. Expedia customer service called on my behalf and let me know that additional fees are not something they forecast. Manager was behind a curtain the whole time saying “just use our website”.
- 4/5
Staff were great and super friendly. Also located by plenty to do.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 3/5
Good
- 5/5
Five stars
- 5/5
Clean. Room descent price on room. Close by downtown fairmont. Great experience.
- 5/5
Awesome!
- 3/5
Room was clean, but the remote for the Tv didn’t work so was stuck watching the animal channel the whole time. Parking was horrible, drove around for over half an hour looking for a parking spot. Plus had a bunch of random charges taken out of my deposit afterwards. Overall bad experience
- 5/5
Was good, bathroom is small
- 2/5
However, the hotel itself is older and feels dark inside. It seems like they tried to update it with “cool” decor, but it still felt dated overall. There was also an odd, old smell throughout. The room was small but clean; however, it looked like it had simply been painted over rather than fully renovated. We only stayed for about three hours since we had an early flight, so it worked for our short stay. That said, I wouldn’t choose to stay here for a longer visit. I would only recommend it as a last resort in an emergency situation.
- 3/5
Loved the room, only issue was the TV.
- 5/5
clean room- noise didn’t bother us , loved that theh provide complimentary earplugs
- 3/5
The area the hotel is located in is also notorious for being very run down and sketchy, full of homeless, mentally ill and addicts so keep that in mind if you want to find a place to stay around North Las Vegas Blvd.
- 1/5
Horrible staff front desk was rude
- 4/5
Room was great, but plumbing is delicate
- 4/5
They also have a nice outside entertainment area, which was a great added feature and made the stay more enjoyable. The only downside was that the shower didn’t get very hot, which was a bit disappointing. Also, even though we were staying at the hotel, we still had to show ID to get into the club on-site. I understand security reasons, but it would’ve been nice if hotel guests had a smoother entry process.
- 2/5
This hotel claims they are adults only but what they don't tell you is that they allow kids ariund the pool area which is exactly where I don't want to be around kids
- 5/5
The staff is phenomenal, the pool is crystal clear, the rooms are a great value relative to how nice they are, and it's close to a bunch of fun stuff. 10/10
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Room was amazing prefect location for the strip
- 5/5
My friend and I had an amazing 4 day stay at Oasis! The staff were welcoming and the rooms were clean. Miguel specifically from the front desk was awesome! Bar staff were friendly as well! Definitely a gem in the Downtown Vegas area!
- 4/5
Clean room great location
- 4/5
The room could have been cleaner but the location was perfect. I would definitely come back again.
- 4/5
Clean Rooms, nice amenities, great price and room availability
- 5/5
Staff were great ! Room was clean , great amenities. Building is Safe .
- 5/5
Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and had no issues. The fenced rec area, while not fancy, was a fun amenity and a good way to spend a little down time. Location is a very short walk to Fremont but also far enough away that the noise from Fremont wasn’t an issue. A/C worked well, shower was hot, and bed was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
The front desk was amazing The room was nice and clean and the staff was excellent no complaints
- 5/5
best price
- 2/5
Room wasn’t clean properly. There was a weird smell in the room and in the hallway.
- 5/5
The room was spotless. It had all the requirements for a guest... towels, soap, etc. The cable had a selection of old and new movies and sitcoms.
- 5/5
The room was reasonably priced, clean and well located. The staff was friendly and helpful. The TV worked with good viewing options. I'll stay there again!
- 5/5
Room was clean and better than expected. Lots to do in the area and access to a lot of bars and restaurants near by
- 4/5
Nice staff, clean room served it’s weekend purpose!
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Friendly start and convenient and friendly staff
- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5
Great staff. Clean room and decent view to pool. overall content with the stay, would book again.
- 5/5
Great location close to Fremont. Clean and comfortable.
- 1/5
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Bathrooms had mold in it, we weren’t placed in the hotel as advertised, they placed in a whole separate building above a bar that plays music all night long. You have to enter through the bar to get to your elevator to get to your room. The rooms smelt like old stale air. Gives you a headache within an hour. We IMMEDIATELY booked a different hotel room. The only reason they have good reviews is because they let you spin a wheel to get free upgrades. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!
- 3/5
The hallways kind of smelled like sewage pipes and they tried to mask it with a strong smelling perfume. Same with the bathroom in the room. Other than that the hotel was perfect
- 2/5
It should say a Motel
- 1/5
EXTREMELY hard to find out where the front desk was. Room was remodeled poorly, Entrance is through a Bar and disco. $20.00 charge for amenities which were not present. Complete Miss representation compared to the website. I would NEVER stay there again.
- 4/5
It was clean, however the there was not water bottle inside the room, or Iron, and also toothpaste!
- 3/5
Rooms nice but no room amenities Could hear the base from the music on the 4th floor.
- 5/5
It was a very pleasant stay..
- 3/5
Room was clean and staff was nice but the room was too basic, no coffee or fridge.
- 1/5
Room, loud music all night didnt sleep at all and it went on till 4 o’clock in the morning
- 5/5
Its off the main Fremont experience but that is good because you don't have to listen to the bands untill 2am, staff is helpful and friendly, room is clean and quiet.
- 5/5
The room was cozy, parking was easy and free, staff was friendly also Gold Spike was a cool place to hang out. Will stay with them again.
- 5/5
Good and happy helpful people.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, quiet room. Conveniently located to all the fun.
- 5/5
Great and inexpensive place to stay
- 4/5
Rooms smelled but staff was great to move to better room. Rooms were updated but basic. Great location off Fremont.
- 5/5
3rd time staying here and will definitely stay again
- 5/5
We stayed at the Sugar Shack, so cute!
- 4/5
Location is great to Fremont street! Clean and affordable! Wish there was a coffee maker in the room.
- 5/5
Good overall
- 3/5
Lots of renovation with some rooms newer than others.
- 4/5
The staff was great. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Street noise was a little loud at times, and parking was tight but secure. On the whole, I'd stay there again.

- 3/5
The smell throughout the tower's floors and reception area needs improving. It is very strong and probably coming from whatever is used to cover up the decades of cigarette smoke. The say they are renovating all around, so I'm hopeful these things will improve and it's otherwise a pretty fun, tastefully kitschy spot for arcade and lawn game fun with nostalgic old vegas charm. I bet it's especially bumping in the back yard in the summer months!
- 5/5
Thelma was a great help with our stay and upgraded our room when we decided to stay an extra day. So much to do over here. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Cool staff
- 5/5
the air-conditioned a bit cold
- 4/5
Location, location, location! And price.
- 3/5
Cleaning staff was good. Desk person was kinda rude (maybe having a bad day?) Took pictures of the floor in my room were the boards had several 1/2 gaps in the hardwood planks. Rolling Barn door for the bathroom door, so if you want any privacy doing your business your partner can hear everything, everything! NO AMENITIES!!!!
- 5/5
Receptionist lady at check in is always amazing
- 3/5
Room upgrades would make a better experience
- 5/5
Best customer service at desk, thank you Heidy for such a clean room. Would definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
The hotel room was really small and there was no mini fridge or microwave. Trying to get to our toon was a hassle and we were even stopped by security at the door and held back despite showing our room key and asking to access the room we paid to be in. Our room was located above the night club and we were told all we had to do to gwy in was show our room key, apparently that delends on what security gaurd is working and how they want to gandle things. You get free access to the night club but if you are coming from your room you have to go back outside and get payted do and have a wand ran over you by security, deapite a security gaurd being strioned at the elevators. All alround we felt very unwelcome and like we were an inconvience. It is not an expirence you would expect after pying to stay.
- 1/5
To sleep
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and I particularly appreciate the manager (Princess) who went out of her way to help me with a problem I was having. Great place to stay. Clean and well taken care of.
- 2/5
Ad is very deceiving! They have picture of the cute little building overlooking the pool (Beverly hills vibe) when really you stay at a dingy gross building around the corner from where you check in and have to walk through this awful weird 24 hour club thing. Just gives you a weird vibe. Room was clean enough but old and the smell in the hallway is just weird.
- 4/5
Loved my quick stay as a Vegas local! The ladies who checked me in were professional and accommodating. The king suite pool view was perfect. However, there was miscommunication when I had requested late check out. I did this as I checked in being told should be no problem and was added to the notes. Only to be hassled by two different employees the morning of check out.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 3/5
Poolside rooms are convenient but so noisy. Between the buses that go by 24/7, sirens, the music til 4am from the attached nightclub, and the gardeners who use leaf blowers at 9am it’s impossible to sleep. Also housekeeping standing outside your room having crazy loud conversations on the phone. Serious lack of consideration. You will not sleep here. Otherwise it’s a cool spot and is mostly kid free.
- 1/5
Part of the price I pay to stay at the hotel includes parking in their parking lot but Las Vegas can enter their parking lot and give you a ticket for timed out parking and now you are faced with a parking ticket and the best thing the hotel will do for you is reimburse you your amenity fees which is less than the parking ticket
- 5/5
They staff was so helpful and made sure we knew about parking reimbursement if their lot was full. They were also very kind and efficient at check in/out. I will be staying there again so I can actually check out the pool and backyard next time.
- 5/5
Great.
- 5/5
Checked in/out very quickly and easily! Great spot near fremont, perfectly within walking distance but just far enough to avoid much of the noise!
- 5/5
Staff was nice
- 4/5
The bed was comfy and big. The closet walls were crumbling and loud noises kept coming from it that sounded like a pipe about to explode. It was nice having the small living room area. The only downfall was the TV remote didn’t work so the only thing we could watch was Christmas movies. The location of the hotel was so nice. We were so close to so many things. The people staying in this hotel were SO LOUD! The people upstairs from us were loudly partying in between two rooms and in the hallway, so we were woken up several times throughout the night. I was concerned the night club connected was going to be an issue but they were so quiet compared to other guests. Overall we had a nice stay and would come again.
- 5/5
DHarlyn was so sweet ! She made sure I had everything I needed.
- 5/5
Honestly for the price this was worth the stay. If i go to las vegas again, I will be staying with the oasis and not a big casino hotel. Their parking system was set up well and was convenient to use, although circling to the secondary lot is a bit of a chore when the closer one is full. I think the only major downsisde was that the walls are thin, so any talking or neighbors doing things could be bothersome. I'd recommend getting a third floor room. Otherwise, a really lovely stay!
- 4/5
Desk clerk, was nice courteous
- 3/5
El baño está sucio
- 3/5
The room was clean, but it smells so bad at the hotel. The smells comes from the chemical products that they use to cover other smells. The location is good which is close to everything in downtown
- 4/5
stayed here before .. nice location and great rates
- 4/5
Room was stuffy, staff was alright and helpful
- 2/5
Expedia.com website is misleading. It states: Total with fees and taxes it's $$$. But when you get to the hotel there an additional charge for amenities. Also the hotel had a 7.8 rating which is the same as Luxor. I have stayed at the Luxor and there is no comparison. My room at thw spike didn't have carpet, mini fridge (could have got one for additional fee) no microwave, no closet, no hangers. Only coat hooks. Very noisey, they did have earplugs on the table though. Needless to say i was disappointed with the room. I will say all the interactions with staff was very good. They where very helpful.
- 5/5
Staff, clean room , it was amazing I stay with my mom , 84 years old and they was very helpful with me and my mom . I feel welcome ! 🙏 thank u so much !! For all the help
- 1/5
No closet to hang clothes! No fridge! Air conditioner squealed the entire stay! Terrible!
- 5/5
Rooms were small but great experience
- 2/5
Wouldn’t recommend
- 4/5
Room was clean. Nothing fancy, but all you need Vegas. Initial check in location was a bit unusual.
- 3/5
Cleaner halls, the smells, working sinks
- 3/5
Pretty good deal for the area.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the staff were very nice. I would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Affordable, near Fremont Street, about 10 min drive from The Strip, and none of the hustle and bustle / crowds of frequented spots in Vegas. They have a pool (haven't tried), fitness center (good selection & clean), bar, & nightclub. The nightclub area hosts different themes on different days and apparently Friday & Saturday are their busiest times but I didn't really see it. They have 2 buildings, the pool building (Oasis) and the 21+ only building (Gold Spike). If you in Gold Spike, when it opens for the nightclub, even if you stay there - you have to go through security and if you have outside food and drinks - they take it and escort you to the elevator so you aren't "bringing it in the club" & when you come down to leave with items from your room ... they do the same. Parking is limited - like maybe 20 cars limited. I say all that to say - don't let the outside deter you. We've stayed in both buildings and though I prefer the tower - I would stay in either again 4 stars because of the tub and shower doing some weird stuff.
- 5/5
No kids at this hotel! My favorite part of enjoying a hotel in Vegas with friends! Attached to a night club with many activities!
- 5/5
Perfect room and enjoyed my stay, mattresses are a bit too soft and strained my lower back when trying to sleep but id comeback for another stay
- 2/5
Confusing to get to the rooms and felt pretty gross
- 5/5
Rooms were nicely decorated thanks for earplugs
- 5/5
Nice stay and staff
- 5/5
Room check in was great and they have excellent snacks for sale also.
- 5/5
It was just between friends, we were happy to have chosen this hotel, it is near Fremont and we feel safe the bathrooms are small and the hallway needs a renovation but overall it is a good hotel for a group of friends
- 4/5
Beds were clean, staying in the hotel connected in the casino is better. A little strict on my pen when coming back into the hotel.
- 3/5
The customer service was excellent; the staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel and room itself was not. The room was really cold, the building smelled like cigarettes and like an artificial fruit smell. I was not expecting this place to have a bar/club on the first floor so going up to my room, I had to go through a bouncer. It was not what I was expecting and would definitely not stay here again.
- 1/5
First I could not find parking to check in. I went to the hotel to check in and had to wait in a line because its also a club. Once I get to the front I'm told that check-in is around the corner in a different building. Finally got checked in and received a parking pass but there was no parking in their tiny lot. They stated that they had available parking across the street in another lot. Well there was also a concert going on. I drove around for 45 minutes trying to find a spot. Got upset went back to check-in and they said there was nothing they could do for me. I parked 2 blocks away in a parking structure that cost me $30 to park. The room was fine, I only slept in it for a few hours and left. Won't be staying there again.
- 4/5
Such a fun place to stay! Room was clean. Fun activities in & outdoor… Free coffee in the AM with a toaster in the lobby. Just a block away from Fremont. Love that it has a 21+ room area… Only minor issue I would say is I feel the toilets should have more pressure. Other than that I would definitely stay here again 😊
- 5/5
Everything was super fun! The room was clean and organized. The AC was good but it wasn’t turning on as often, which could be cuz it was cold outsid. The check in lady was so nice and gave great advice for parking.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful
- 2/5
Bathroom fan is horribly loud and of course turns on with the light. Bathtub has a handshower which is nice for ADA needs (like me) but the tub is too close to the toilet for some wheelchair users to transfer in and out of the tub. The room was nice enough outside of that. The bar/“nightclub” downstairs is okay. The bartender needs a refresher course though. Drinks were not good. And room doesn’t have fridge, microwave or any of that. Very odd. All in all it was an ok stay but would I do it again? No.
- 3/5
The toilet ran and flushed continuously. The tower rooms had to traverse a nightclub which wasnt at all busy, but still treated as an inconvenience.
- 4/5
Room was nice. Keys had to be reprogammed once, the front desk was very cooperative and reprogrammed new ones. Great location; very close to Fremont Street Experiance.
- 5/5
Yes.
- 5/5
Everything was good. I’m thinking about staying another night.
- 3/5
Room was small and was obviously refurbished. Kind of unsettling location and surroundings but truthfully fet what you pay for
- 5/5
Staff courteous and helpful. Free upgrade offered.
- 3/5
Staff was nice. Bed was good. Clean. Would be nice to have a full length mirror.
- 1/5
Room had roaches in it
- 1/5
the room and hallway stunk very bad! The room was old and dated. The door was hanging and didn't shut without having to lift it up.
- 5/5
Everything was close to downtown, fun and clean.
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff were very polite, property was very well maintained , over all fantastic stay, definitely coming back
- 3/5
When we first checked in the room had a very foul odor and the spinning closet to put clothes away was broken and almost fell on me. They moved us rooms and the second room the fan in the bathroom was extremely loud sounded broken and the tv was broken only one Chanel worked everything else said no signal . I didn’t want to be one of those people that just kept complaining so I left that alone. The motel is very close to Fremont so we heard alot of noise and sirens all night. The noise travels into the rooms very loudly. The pillows were very uncomfortable as well. It was decently cleaned but wish I wouldn’t have dealt with all the other issues. It was my first time staying off the strip in Vegas and in the downtown area and I will probably never do that again.
- 5/5
I had a very good time this week, hotel clean, nice staff, close to downtown.everything is fun around the area.
- 5/5
Great service!
- 4/5
Nice staff, simple room that was clean.
- 3/5
Registration ladies in reception were super welcoming and very helpful. They offer amazing costumer service. This was my second time booking this hotel but this time I was very disappointed. To start with the hallway was very warm, we hard trouble with our door keys. After running back and forth and trying to get assistance maintenance guy was very helpful and professional. As soon as I walked inside the room it felt super humid, the bed sheets stink like armpit and dirty. The bathtub sucked, it was super dirty and the water kept getting clogged, is like I was inside a pond. Won’t be booking anymore this place.
- 5/5
😊
- 5/5
Room was nice and clean
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff was really quite accommodating. I could tell that this was a Motel that was acquired and then fixed up by the Oasis. Were there imperfections? Yes. But for the price they were quickly overlooked. Honestly I felt a considerable amount of effort by the staff. And that is really all I could ask for.
- 4/5
AC wasn’t the best
- 4/5
The outside look was kind of sketchy, but when I entered the room, it was nice and clean modern and must stay was wonderful
- 3/5
Staff was awesome. Room could use some improvements.
- 5/5
Very clean room!! Staff was super helpful and welcoming environment!! Definitely staying here again!
- 5/5
Nice room and clean. Easy to get to Fremont Street on Crazy Halloween night.
- 4/5
Love my stay shower and toilet could’ve been a little cleaner though
- 4/5
Great location right next to fremont. Staff is super friendly and helpful. There's a small lot right next to the hotel which is free if you're staying at the hotel which is super convenient.
- 5/5
- 2/5
The only positives was the room was good sized, clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
- 4/5
Room was ok ( it is a cheaper option, so don’t expect luxury). Smoke smell in the corridor by the elevator. There is a nightclub on the ground floor. Can get very noisy. Also our room was noisy, with loud cars on the road. We were on the 6th flood. Staffs are amazing, very helpful. They helped us with check-in, luggage, information. It is well situated, close to Fremont street and some good restaurants.
- 5/5
Staff was EXCELLENT
- 5/5
It was a great stay, I would of just liked the bathrooms to be more updated but other than that it was a good time
- 5/5
Cute small and easy hotel for Vegas area in old downtown Vegas-right by Fremont St action and other casinos And very friendly helpful staff and great room
- 5/5
The hotel is in a perfect location for downtown las vegas. Staff was excellent. Great stay

You would be better off getting a motel. It’s hard to find where to check in. And you’re going to want to check in before 5pm because it says parking is provided. That is the biggest joke of a parking lot. There’s only about 20 spots. If parking is full on that lot you have to go across the street to another lot. We left and came back around 9pm and both lots were full so we called the front desk and they told us it’s our fault because it’s a weekend and we can park all the way at the golden nugget but we have to pay out of pocket for that. Besides that the rooms smell like mold. The AC doesn’t work and the filters are dirty. There was hair in the shower and mold in the drain. The “club” had a total of maybe 12 people on a Saturday night. The smell by the front desk is terrible it smells like sewage. I’d recommend any other hotel but this one.

Great space. We had a lot of fun.
- 3/5

Clean room, quiet and easy going staff
- 5/5
Clean Room. Spacious.
- 5/5
Las personas muy amables todos
- 5/5
Our room was super clean and the staff were nice. Only thing I would also like is free breakfast. :)
- 3/5
The floor was this pretty dirty and ended up gushing water when it rained. Staff was very friendly and helpful though.
- 5/5
Kris was amazing Thelma made me not want to return so rude! Kris though had talent keeping people happy and making connections!
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
Not as expected and a little disappointing
- 5/5
The room was good. The bathroom fan needs work lol. Too loud. I would stay there again. The security dude at Gold Spike was awesome.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay very much! It’s a lovely hotel in downtown Vegas. Clean, comfortable, no muss and fuss and more tranquil than being on the strip.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was super friendly, and super accomodating!
- 5/5
Quick, convenient and easy check-in and check-out process. Lovely staff. Easy walkable distance from the Freemont Street Experience. Easy club tower access. Thank you and aloha!
- 5/5
Check in gals were awesome. Room good for the price.
- 4/5
Great place, great staff.
- 5/5
Fantastic experience as always staff was splendid and the room was clean, and the pool was fun. Always a good place to stay in Vegas.!
- 5/5
If you enjoy the energy of Fremont Street and you are a budget aware traveler then you should check-out The Oasis at Gold Spike. The staff was friendly, helpful and communicated well during my stay. Upon finding my room the housekeeping manager got my attention to ensure I didn’t need anything, I appreciated that. My room was clean and everything worked as it should. There is an outdoor pool which many visitors took advantage of, but it was not over crowded. This property is one block from the heart of Fremont Street Experience. Parking is free and close. It did not bother me one bit because I don’t “live” at the hotel…but there is no onsite restaurant but within a block you have many many options at all price points.
- 3/5
Staff was awesome. Room was eh okay. Found a chunk of hair on the floor. The rotating closet thing was dusty. You can see dust when you rotate it. The faucet on The sink was rusty you can smell it when you get close. The flooring between the bathroom and bed area had cracks and parts of the floor you can take off. The ac smelt funky everytime we came back to the room and it would go away after a while. The best part was the door. We literally had to push the door to get it open. The front dest knew “ it was one of the rooms that needed a kick”. We got what we paid for. They had two buildings. My friends actually stayed one night with us but stayed at the other building and had no remarks like ours had. Maybe our building was older, and it was facing the pool. Who knows. I honestly don’t mind staying here again for a night or two just cuz fremont is around the corner and maybe hope to get the other building.
- 5/5
Night staff was very polite and helpful. Will definitely recommend and stay again.
- 4/5
Getting to our room was very confusing, through a casino, bar; no explanation given by the desk clerk !
- 5/5
Everything was great but no breakfast
- 1/5
It smelled
- 5/5
It’s a very basic place to stay, but everyone is very pleasant, it is very easy and walkable to Fremont St. it is quite secured you need a card to access the elevators, pool etc.
- 5/5
Amy was lovely and helpful when we checked in.
- 3/5
The hotel is nice, the pool is nice, paking across the street is questionable. But man you can hear people upstairs! The people avobe me kept walking around, stomping. Could hear it really loud. For that reason I will not return. I couldn't sleep.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 2/5
The rest of the experience was average, but this issue made the stay unpleasant and should be addressed to ensure better housekeeping and hygiene for future guests.
- 5/5
Having to go through the bar wasn't the best
- 1/5
I will never stay there again. Thy only clean the rooms every 3 days
- 1/5
Room smelt like Marijuana. I checked out and got a refund
- 1/5
The ac it was not working properly. Ther room feels to hot .. the carpet smells wet . The noise of the building was strong
- 3/5
It was super close to Fremont that’s what we were looking for. Room was small we did book a queen room but bed looked a lot smaller then a queen my husband is 6ft and he nearly fit in bed. Parking was horrible took us about 1 hr to find a parking spot since it is public parking anyone can park by hotel
- 4/5
- 4/5
Very dated though. But great for the price.
- 5/5
The vibe of the hotel is fun and unique, with stylish retro-modern décor that fits perfectly with the downtown Las Vegas energy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and being right near Fremont Street made it easy to enjoy the nightlife and activities. The pool and lounge areas were a great bonus, and the connection to Gold Spike added extra entertainment with games, music, and a lively crowd. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel with great service and an energetic atmosphere, Oasis at Gold Spike is a fantastic choice—especially for a celebration!
- 2/5
As far as Goldspike, the security was not so friendly, it made my stay unpleasant on every level I was outside having a drink when it was brought to my attention no outside drinks when I asked to see the rules of the property there was none to be found I got sent to my room to look at my manual and it wasn't there. I got sent to the front desk. No one knew about any rules at this point. I felt like I was getting the runaround if I had a room station there and you're telling me I can't have any outside drinks or food in a hotel that I paid for a room for that does not have room service our food on the property to purchase. Finally, he found the rules and point them out with his handy flashlight, very rudely, the tone and gesture of his actions as he pointed out the rules finally after a hour after sending me on a run around to find where the rules are keep in mind he was security, but on the phone the whole time I checked out from this hotel, a half a day early because another staff member which was a woman this time told me I couldn't walk through a certain walkway and made me walk all the way around to the front desk to check out. I didn't even stay the whole dayof my checkout because I felt uncomfortable and it was a unpleasant day. I got charged twice on two different cards for the resort fee, which it said pending, but it's still charged my account into it falls off. Also
- 4/5
Was a block from freemont street, and the rooms were very nice.
- 5/5
Everyone was nice, besides one of the security guys. Very rude short and pushy for no reason
- 5/5
I was on a staycation and decided to go check out the Oasis Gold Spike because I heard they had an adult arcade without gambling. I will definitely be back the staff was amazing the pool was great and the music was my kind of music it was across between like a funk, soul, disco, retro and every day they have a different theme and drink specials. The day I was there it wasn't loud but I heard it can get pretty loud and they do offer ear plugs in your room.
- 5/5
Great for price
- 5/5
Absolutely
- 2/5
There was no parking. Have to use whatever public parking is available around the area. To check in it is one building. Then the hotel is in another building but you have to go in through a night club. They escort you through the crowd to get to the elevator.
- 5/5
Lots of adult games to play ping pong pool cornhole. Could be a very fun place to hang out with a full bar and music. What I did not like was when I signed up and booked this room I did not know that there was a nightclub downstairs so that was news to me after I got there and checked in. But the noise did not bother me this weekend anyway. I would stay here again
- 5/5
Walking distances to Fremont

I got bit by a poisonous spider in one of their rooms and nobody did anything about it. I had to pay for medication pay for my taxi spent almost $200 for them to tell me just to write a complaint and my arm and hand is still swollen and in pain and I have yet to hear from anybody from the hotel and it’s been over 24 hours besides that the room was terrible very dirty towel stink like mildew the water in the bathroom smelled funny my shower trickles water not really a full shower run the floor. I stayed on was a no smoking floor, but you can obviously tell that Ppl smoked. It was horrible. It smelled so bad every time we came back to our room we complained about walking through the hallways because they stunk even the room stunk, but the worst part about it all was getting bit by a poisonous spider. I do not recommend this hotel. Location is decent, but the hotel overall is a no for me and my friends and family.
- 1/5
Stayed on a no smoking floor and the whole floor stinks. The shower was horrible the water smelled funny my room smelled like mildew I won’t be staying here again.
- 5/5
My stay was very nice I stayed at they gave me a room on the Gold Spike side because of the type of room I booked they did let me know that it gets a little loud because of the club and recreation are on that side due to the club downstairs i didn’t hear much as I was on the top floor if booking I would suggest getting a room pool side the place was very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating i would recommend and if I go back to Las Vegas I will stay there again
- 3/5
Very loud, a lot of homeless people in the area, but the room was clean and fairly updated.
- 5/5
Great place to stay if you go alone. I enjoyed room and security keeping customers from going to the rooms. Pool was great when walking around Fremont.
- 4/5
Room a vintage.
- 3/5
The front office is not helpful. However, the maintenance man was very friendly and helpful. It’s no-frills you get exactly what you paid for. Nice pool hotel staying on the poolside is much more quiet than the tower. The tower is definitely for party type people
- 5/5
Loved everything about this location, 10/10!
- 3/5
Our room was clean, but our TV did not work at all. The bathroom was also not as advertised in the photos, and we were quite disappointed with our stay overall.
- 5/5
Love the chill and relax environment away from the strip
- 4/5
Good for the price
- 2/5
Sheets were dirty looked like make up or dried blood, thankfully I bring an extra sheet of my own. I got bit in the night which caused my finger to swell terribly, place definitely was not kept up well. People smoking weed and cigars/cigarettes poolside which I brought kids so was not enjoyable. I did address it to the front desk and was told they would look into it. For the money it’s not worth the stay.

It was supposed to be nostalgic; but turned out to be a disaster.. Noisy all night and no hot water in the morning. After explaining it to the front desk and manager on duty, we were again “upgraded” to the original room of rented in the first place… Once we descended to the room, (via elevator) we were trapped for 10 minutes on the elevator! After a call for help, it started back up slowly allowing us to get off before the fire department showed up. Now heading into the room, we notice a strong smell of urine and smoke!! I went back to the office to notify not only did I get stuck in the elevator, and they should put it out of commission; but also that my “upgraded” room was uninhabitable due to the smells… A horrific experience and waste of time and money…
- 5/5
Friendly staff and close to many dining options.
- 2/5
at checkin with $100 refundable. The bathroom was smaller then a closet . Their was no closet to hang or stor3 belongings, no fridge or coffee maker . nothing. the queen size bet was a twin not a queen. I will no longer be booking from expedia .
- 5/5
Great place. Always stay here. Great value. Great location. Cool place to hang out. Perfect for a Vegas trip. My fav hotel in Vegas.
- 5/5
Very nice location and relaxing spot for my family & I.
- 5/5
Very good
- 3/5
So the site stated decent ratings. We get there and it’s clearly not in a good part of town. It’s also above a night club which was not mentioned in the listing. Thankfully we were up multiple floors so the noise was not terrible. Just would’ve been good to know first. The floors weren’t swept well and the room was tiny. We were in a corner room and it was hard to get out of the door with how it was set up.
- 5/5
Always a great place to stay , quick to the point access to your room, check in and check out is always quick, great staff and service, affordable prices nearby Fremont Street which is a great way to always want to book again and again , great place for a staycation if you're a local .
- 4/5
I enjoyed that they were within walking distance of almost everywhere I like to be. The parking kind of sucks because it's offered to the public and if the space fills up, you have to pay to park somewhere else👎. Also the pool loungers that sit inside the wading pool area need to be cleaned daily to avoid build-up. Despite that, the place was nice and cozy. I liked the amenities, and the rooms have been newly renovated. I liked the accessibility to Fremont St. The staff was amazing and always very helpful. They offer affordable breakfast items and snacks if you don't want to go anywhere, but Denny's and The Broken Yolk are literally within walking distance💖. 8/10 recommended
- 3/5
The property and hotel staff were great, but the nightclub staff were absolutely horrible… If you’re going to stay here, get one of the poolside rooms, do not get a room in the tower!
- 5/5
The staff here is amazing to say the least! The pool is nice and relaxing. Walking distance to Fremont St. Staff is very quick and responsive to any request. And the morning coffee is great. Thank you Oasis.

Everything
- 5/5
I plan to continue staying at your hotel in the future
- 5/5
Loved the backyard
- 5/5
Love it close to everything
- 5/5
Great stay! Would stay again
- 3/5
Older hotel but it’s ok. Has its charm. I would stay there again but there are some cons. A/C blows on you all night. Not a single picture on the wall. Las Vegas doesn’t recycle even cans and the hotel is no different. No fridge, no microwave, no coffee in the room. Price is decent for what you get. Staff are lovely.
- 3/5
Price for the night was excellent. We just needed to sleep for the night. Ive been here before and the club downstairs is great. Fun and inexpensive non boogie place but guaranteed to have a good time. My only issue was the AC if you were not next to it you were sweating.
- 5/5
Was upgraded
- 2/5
The pool was the best part about this place. Parking was horrible!! You had to park in the same area as the public. So if you didn’t get there at a good time you could be driving around for hours waiting for a spot. Or you would have to pay for parking somewhere else. Our room key didn’t work several times so we had to keep going and getting another one. And when we did it was seemed like was annoying to the staff even though it wasn’t our fault. It had one elevator with no air conditioning.
- 5/5
Front desk was very helpful when it came to questions/concerns. It’s a close walk to Fremont street which saves money on car rides and we enjoyed that the downstairs of our hotel became a lounging area at night. There’s plenty to do on the outside patio area. We’ll be staying here again in the future
- 5/5
Cool
- 3/5
Bathroom had hairs from a previous guest shaving, sink was clogged and did not work. Not a terrible experience there but cannot trust a hotel with a dirty bathroom.
- 3/5
It was a nice hotel for the price but having to go through the bar to get to our room at night was a little annoying. Especially since the employees who would let you in seemed to have attitude about it. The air conditioner was faced away from the bed so the room was hot the whole time. The showers barely flowed. They only have one mirror. Also got different information from different employees, made it a little frustrating. Parking was a joke.
- 5/5
That was super comfortable in room 137. People upstairs from us were a little bit loud but overall, it was a great experience staying at the oasis at Goldspike.
- 5/5
Awesome hotel desk
- 5/5
Had a great experiences here, will definitely come back.
- 1/5
The room was smelly and the parking is so small i need to park somewhere else and pay for a parking. The staff & service is worst i asked for room cleaning for like 4 times and they didn’t even clean the room i stayed for 4days.
- 5/5
The computer check in not so good but everything else was good.
- 5/5
The art painting in and out of the hotel
- 5/5
We loved the pool! The fitness center was small but had all we needed for a good workout and the air conditioner worked great. Being so close to Fremont Street was an added perk and plenty of restaurants and shops to go to. They have complimentary coffee in the lobby which was also nice. There are a lot of homeless people outside the hotel and walking around the parking garage which I did find a bit sketchy but we liked the hotel itself. We had a great stay!
- 5/5
Had a wonderful experience stayed here a few times now and we love it every time we come
- 5/5
Great hotel, and services. A could have been a lot better, but that's my only complaint.
- 5/5
The staff was great and helpful.
- 3/5
The staff was welcoming and helpful. The doorman/bar manager? actually chased us down when he saw us walk the door by with bags. But do not stay at Gold Spoke for a long term stay or a relaxing vacation. The HVAC unit made a horrible growling noise randomly whenever it felt like it. Unit itself was out of date. Comforter had been washed but had some small brown and black stains on it. And it was so noisy that they provide you earplugs in the room. It was okay for us because we were only there for 2 nights and mostly used the room to sleep, but would not recommend.
- 5/5
I love this property and if I’m ever in Vegas again I will be staying here! BUT the room smelled like dirt it was very outdated there weren’t many tv channels there was no mirror and the kitchen was not in service. Despite all of that I did love it and will be returning. The pool was stunning the service was incredible oh I do wish the pool was open later
- 5/5
Good location.
- 3/5
The AC was not really working, the hall way smells bad because of some guests was smoking weed.
- 5/5
Great experience
- 5/5
Thanks
- 5/5
Lovely staff!
- 5/5
It was a great location to explore Fremont and not have to worry about transportation. It was a bit loud with the club that was hosted at night but not loud enough to keep me from sleeping. Overall, a great experience. Will definitely be back.
- 5/5
The rooms were very comfy and homey
- 5/5
Room was excellent for the price. Clean, convenient to downtown, plenty of parking, pool was nice. Staff was very helpful.
- 3/5
Nothing great, nothing particularly bad, just meh.
- 5/5
The elevator felt unsafe and possibly dangerous. There is no light in it and no air circulating, even an overhead fan would help. The ice machine needs replaced, very unsightly, and uninviting to use.
- 2/5
The toilet seat cover needs to be cleaned properly
- 4/5
Near Fremont Street
- 4/5
The hotel had its positives, being nice and walkable to certain areas. However, I encountered two drawbacks. Firstly, parking was difficult due to the proximity to Fremont Street, which fills up the shared parking lot quickly. Secondly, the hotel's facility services didn't include daily room cleaning.
- 5/5
Fantastic
- 5/5
Overall, the room and hotel were nice. The only thing I disliked was that after we took a shower, a bad smell would come from the shower drain and make the entire room smell like it.
- 5/5
Classic hotel, nice pool, great location. Fun place.
