Reviews
The Luxor Hotel receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising its unique design and recent room updates, while others find it outdated and in need of renovation. The hotel's staff is generally described as friendly and helpful, but the check-in process is often criticized for being slow and inefficient.
- Unique design and Egyptian theme
- Recently updated rooms in some areas
- Outdated facilities and decor in many areas
- Slow and inefficient check-in process
- 5/5
It was amazing the staff was friendly and helpful also the casino is close to all the sports stadiums, I will be coming back soon.
- 3/5
Room cleanness and maintenance is poor, the smell is bad and the bathroom looks dirty and we can't use TV.
- 5/5
Amazing! We will be staying here again just for the shower! It was so clean everywhere and staff helped us find our way to Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. Overall, we loved our stay!
- 5/5
Everything was great including the cost.
- 5/5
Thank you staff you are so kind
- 3/5
Check-in process is very hectic and I paid for a tower king room and ended up with a pyramid king room, and yes there is a price difference.
- 4/5
Clean room, nice staff, fun casino.
- 5/5
Great place to be! Enjoy the environment, the stores, places to eat, and the connections to the other hotels!
- 2/5
It’s a nice place but my room was not clean and smelled like weed. The only way you get a nice room is if you pay an unreasonable amount.
- 5/5
Really like Luxor Hotel… so clean room and so easy to go walking to the other side of the strip.
- 1/5
Terrible
- 4/5
Comfortable and practical for our stay. No fuss, easy check in/out. Rooms could use a little updating, but overall great.
- 3/5
not once did they take any glasses or clean the room...parts of hotel smelled dirty and like wet carpet ...for the money I was not impressed
- 2/5
The room was supposed to be an upgrade , but it was smaller. The room did not get cooler at all. I can hear everybody next door down the hall everywhere. The bed was not comfortable, the shower and sinks were dirty. I was supposed to have a food voucher daily , but it turned out just to be one voucher. The check-in procedure is horrible.I waited forty five minutes in line while everybody else was put ahead of me.
- 4/5
Friendly staff, very helpful
- 5/5
Czysty pokój
- 5/5
I loved the cleanliness the service and how everything is so close no need to leave the Luxor. Im very content
- 5/5
I love the service and cleanliness and how everything is there no need to leave the hotel
- 4/5
Shower floor was dirty
- 5/5
Our room wasn’t ready so they upgraded us. It was great. Very clean. Super comfy bed. Great service at the restaurant for breakfast.
- 2/5
The only complaint I have is I asked for housekeeping to have my room cleaned, and they never came. Spoke to the front desk, they informed me someone would come. Housekeeping never showed up
- 3/5
old tas, old furniture and the outlets are so loose i couldn't connect my chatgers; the beds are clean and the bathroom but the curtains, windows and the desk and chairs were so dirty
- 2/5
Interesting establishment. Location was convenient. Establishment was too big though. Self parking was inconvenient.
- 2/5
There is no staff; you wait in a line to check in on a computer. If you're lucky, they work; if not, you stand around waiting for someone to help you. Then, after you check in, you wait in another line to fill out the same information and get a key from a machine. Then we had to find the hallway to the elevator, which, by the way, was long and creepy. There was no one to ask where the room was. The rooms were dated and fairly clean, but I didn't really feel safe staying there. Plus, having to pay resort and parking fees is really stupid. They should charge one fee for their guests. This hotel was not worth the trouble.
- 2/5
Water in entire hotel was off from 5pm -5am e next day……………..TERRIBLE , eye fusing to check in, get ready for a shoe after driving 3 1/2 from California, and there is no water in the building.
- 1/5
The check-in process was terrible. It took us an hour to finally get our keys. Very frustrating after 6 hours of driving to get there.
- 5/5
I rated the amenities usefulness a 3 since I did not have the opportunity to enjoy any of them, only arriving late the night before leaving. The check-in process was a bit confusing (new tech, old people), but appreciated having access to helpful assistants who could walk us thru the self-check-in. I did not know about the parking being added on to the room to lower the price, but having to obtain a printed receipt, allowed me to find that out in time to take advantage of that due to a very helpful clerk. I do not believe I would not have known this had I used the self-check-out.
- 5/5
Great location. Lots of activities within walking distance from the hotel .
- 3/5
The ac is our suite wasn’t working so the room was extremely hot the entire stay. We called the front desk and they brought us a fan instead of offering a solution like giving us a new room with working ac. Staying outside the room was cooler than being in the suite. Very disappointed.
- 5/5
Nice clean hotel comfortable beds, would definitely stay again!
- 3/5
Honestly I wouldn’t stay here again. It had a rundown feeling to everything. The room felt dirty with stained couches and pillows. The only thing that felt clean was the bed at least. I had a great trip but it wasn’t because of the Luxor. Also they have no people to help you check in. They just leave you to a kiosk that is supposed to text you your room information but for us it never did. It took over two hrs before we found someone to actually help us. Very annoying.
- 1/5
Dated and old. Tv was all static and the toilet leaked. Better off at another location in the future
- 3/5
If you have more than one room booked, make sure you check in with someone who operates a computer. If you use the kiosk you will have difficulties. Also, trying to self make your keys can be troublesome, especially when you have more than one room booked under your reservation.
- 1/5
No coffee in room or micro!
- 5/5
Great hotel with lots of opportunities for entertainment. The pool didn't open until 9 am, which was a surprise, and one area of the pool deck was being renovated, but there was still plenty of room on the open side.
- 5/5
Enjoy it all
- 5/5
👍
- 3/5
Long wait lines to check in and kiosk did not work waited for extra help for a while
- 3/5
More interested in selling you time shares than assisting guests.
- 5/5
Loved the location
- 3/5
Needs maintenance and repair. TV didn’t work. The hall where the room was, overlooked HVAC equipment. Unsightly.
- 5/5
The check-in was easy and straight to the point!!
- 1/5
Nothing horrible dirty place
- 4/5
The pool was under construction and I wasn’t aware. The ice maker was off or maybe empty both mornings.
- 5/5
Not super high end but all was clean and well maintained
- 1/5
My room didn't really have AC air. They gave us a fan. The bed seemed worn out. Getting out of the parking lot was a mission, since their machine wasn't working to beep people out
- 3/5
Room was dirty 75%of the pool is gone
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
Self check in was chaotic with the machines not working, then never got any receipts for payment taken, staff around pool and in the public house were fantastic, a great hotel and would revisit
- 3/5
Decent stay for a decent price. Got a pyramid room expecting a decent view of the casino but ended up on one of the very corners of the and had a horrible view of the cooling system inside the building. Out the window was just another tall brick building😂 but oh well😂 the room was clean and I had no problems!
- 3/5
We were continuously a little bit lost trying to find the room the signs seem to be a little bit distracting and confusing and it is hard to find someone to help Staff especially at the front desk and at the luggage storage area are extremely rude negative and make you feel like you're an idiot
- 3/5
We got back to the hotel after traveling and walking around the strip and there was no water at all. Couldn’t take a shower or brush our teeth. All without notice.
- 1/5
There was a really loud buzzing noise in the green tower building no matter what floor I was on. I had switched my room three times already there was mold in the first room. After switching from the 10th floor to the eighth floor and then to the fifth floor, there was a buzzing sound in the walls that I cannot get any rest in the room because it was so loud.
- 1/5
A dreadful hotel in which nothing worked and no-one was interested. Complaints were met with indifference and rudeness.
- 4/5
The top of the Wardrobe wasn’t cleaned. A medicinal candy package was left on top. Be prepared to be hassled by people trying to “give something for free”
- 4/5
Online check-in was fabulous! Room was comfortable and quiet. Enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Clean rooms
- 5/5
This was our first time staying at the Luxor and it was a great time. We got there too late to be able to go to the pool because that pool closes at 6:00 p.m.. I do and I don't get why the pool closes early cuz I probably want to avoid drunks being in the pool at night. We came with our two children and it was a great stay. The room was clean. The beds were great. It was nice to have a TV to just kind of wind down at the end of the day. Trying to get to our room directions from the app as well as from Expedia through Luxor as well as with the staff that we asked was very helpful and easy to find. One of the least expensive places to stay on the strip but still a wonderful stay in our opinion
- 5/5
Was clean and fun at the same time...
- 5/5
It was good
- 5/5
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. My stay at the Luxor was enjoyable and relaxing. The bed was perfectly comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
As expected the room, staff are 1st class and the Michael Jackson 1 show was amazing and some
- 4/5
The self check in system seems to glitch because it took 2 hours for it to check us in. There were people who got there after us and got rooms before us but there were also people there before us who were still waiting even after we got our room. Our room had some plumbing issues, the shower and sink took a while to drain. Room is spacious though with good beds and plenty of seating and storage. We stayed in room 12094.
- 3/5
The Luxor has really fallen over the last few years. I’ve stayed here many times but it will be a while before I go back. The property desperately needs a make over. Inside the elevators the paint is peeling off. In the hallway to our room, there were hand prints on the ceiling because it was so dusty. The shower drain was clogged up. There wasn’t a refrigerator in the room. I love the theme and the location but it needs serious attention to the small details needed to survive in Vegas.
- 0.5/5
Nothing Everything
- 3.5/5
Good
- 1.5/5
Favorite and only reason I would return is the pyramid shape it’s an incredible design! The theme is dope too! Wish they would upscale and invest a little into maintaining the property Everything else wallpaper pealing off the walls in halls by silver elevator, ceiling plaster falling apart, stains on walls, shower floor stained, tub was dirty, the toilet wasn’t bolted in!!
- 4/5
Very good
- 4.5/5
Everything was generally good Checking in as a nightmare because there’s not much stuff available and they want you to do it all via technology and rates it very difficult when emails aren’t being received, et cetera
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 4/5
I like everything, cleanness, Paying for parking since I’m only at Las Vegas for work
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 2/5
Check in is very difficult. You have to use a kiosk (that's okay), but it doesn't work well. After check in, you wait for an email to pick up a key - program it at another kiosk line. The two step process is terrible and most travelers had trouble understanding the process and using the kiosks. Read your key email closely for the color of your elevator bank or you will never find your room. Many things were broke at the property (like walkways, elevators) for the whole stay. Food options were limited but Excalibur next door had a lot to choose from. Room was warm and stuffy all the time - AC ran all the time but could not cool the room.
- 3/5
The pool was closed and it was easy to see why it was cheaper to stay there. Most things were pretty run down, and no microwave or fridge in the room which sucked.
- 5/5
Everything was nice and clean and easy to get to
- 4/5
comfortable and large room
- 1/5
Room smelled awful, and the shower wouldn’t drain, I called front desk to complain and they said they’d send someone up but never did. We were exhausted so just passed out. Don’t recommend this place, yes it’s cheap but not worth it!
- 1/5
We did not get the king premier room we booked. The room did not have a fridge as stated. And it was a standard double queen bed. The vending machine is broken by the room. Guest services does not pick up the phone. Nor do they tell you what's on the property they just hand you a piece of paper. I have gipped and would never stay here again I'm forced to stay here another night because I have back to back reservations
- 1/5
Gave me a room I didn’t book nasty dirty ac did not work stayed here many time before worst on yet.
- 5/5
Excelente experiencia
- 2/5
Check-in was a nightmare. Only self check-in is available. Their POS didn’t work. I had to make an expensive call to my bank overseas just to prove the problem was on the hotel’s end. It took 1 hour to finally get my key. There are no carts to take your luggage to your room. You’re forced to haul everything yourself or pay outrageous bell charges. The pool was out of service, but no notification anywhere. The room was clean but very old and in need of some love. No minibar. No fridge! I requested a bottle opener: $18 + tip to have it brought to my room. I know it’s Vegas. I get it. But there are some minimum standards. What happened to customer service, to there being a manager available, to getting comped…
- 5/5
Was very hard to get in every time, it kept ones of my keys. Great idea just need to be easier to use or be explained how to use
- 4/5
The check in was very cumbersome, hard to follow.
- 5/5
The Luxor is always my favorite place to stay when I come to town. Everything is always excellent, never any complaints!
- 4/5
Stay in the tower
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 3.5/5
Different things to do there TV isn’t working well.
- 4.5/5
Clean, comfortable excellent value Nothing
- 5/5
Everything was nice. N/A
- 1.5/5
Chose the hotel as it was close to the airport as leaving the next morning Hugely understaffed. Check in was from 3pm. Check in was mostly at machines which didn’t scan passports well. There were was a Desk for problems but people were waiting hours in the Q - at times there was only one person dealing with issues. I checked in at 3.15pm and then waited for 2.5 hours to get a key to my room. I was told that housekeeping was running late. I eventually asked to speak to a manager and got a key but it wasn’t to the room I had booked. Didn’t have the energy to Q got hours to change it. Terrible experience
- 1.5/5
Location Computerized front desk, rooms not ready until 4 pm
- 3/5
location check in and check out process not intuitive
- 4/5
Comfy
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
It was neat to see inside To get to the elevators for each color section was not convenient nor marked the best
- 5/5
Clean rooms, nice hotel for a great price
- 5/5
Excellent place to stay if you are attending a game or concert at Allegiant Stadium
- 5/5
Nice room
- 5/5
Great time celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday
- 5/5
Besides the AC not working properly and it wasn't cold in the room and there's wasn't no mini fridge. everything else was great. I like staying there every time we visit Vegas.
- 5/5
Absolutely love Luxor! It's where I stay for every Vegas trip. I do wish the pool had longer hours, but other than that, I love this place! Nice, clean rooms and super convenient location.
- 2/5
My family stayed in gold and our rooms were night and day. My room was giving motel 8
- 5/5
Affordable, quiet, and hotel staff that care.
- 3/5
There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room and they were charging 25.00 for a refrigerator.
- 3/5
The check-in representative did not appear to be happy to be at work and was indifferent with us. We appeared to be her first client of the night. I had a reservation for a deluxe king suite in the pyramid and instead was sent to a room in the east building. The bed was horrible compared to our stay on June 6 in the pyramid. The bed appeared to be worn out and had lumps in it. The bathroom faucet was dirty and had white residue from what appeared to be toothpaste and hair on it. The toilet seat was dirty. Had blood underneath and some caked item on the back of the toilet rim.
- 4/5
Check in was slow. Ne enough people, the self check-in didn’t work for us so we had to wait in the very slow line.
- 4/5
Checking takes to long
- 2/5
Overall feeling was that property management was poor. Building, hotel rooms need an upgrade. Felt like an Egyptian tomb in the room and escalator was outdated. Could be because the blue elevator rooms are for the peasants and peons.
- 5/5
This was an excellent hotel in Las Vegas. The room, staff amenities, food, casino all of it. I’m really glad that we stayed here and I look forward to staying here again. It was good.
- 3/5
No refrigerator, self check in doesn’t work great and no humans were around to help.
- 5/5
great!
- 5/5
Clean room great service and awesome staff overall great experience at the Luxor
- 1/5
- 1/5
The staff lied about things over charged us even though we have our ESA on our dogs. Tried to charge me $200.00 on top of the original set price we didn't get our room we reserved? All in all it was the saddest poor thing for a rental ever I do not wish for any of this to happen to anyone or us ever again.
- 5/5
I did not like that my room was not being cleaned and trash was not taken out. When I wanted to get ice I found a band-Aid inside of the ice bucket that is not ok.
- 5/5
Room was clean and room service was great. Checking in took hours and parking situation could be better
- 3/5
Half of pool close, pool closes too early and spa closes too early $60 for use of spa per day :/
- 5/5
Everything
- 4/5
For the price we paid .. the stay was acceptable …
- 5/5
Great stay, clean and good casino
- 5/5
Our room was very clean and well kept, the breakfast at the pyramid cafe was also great! Large portions, delicious and great value.
- 1/5
Door stopped locking, dirty rooms, shower drain wouldn’t drain, guest service line took over an hour.
- 5/5
I’ll be back here ofcourse
- 2/5
They need to tear the building down and rebuild and hire new staff.
- 1/5
It smelled like sewage 💩 when you go in the property then got my room and same it smelled. The ac it was all the way down to 60 and room was hot. Try calling front desk and o er an hour waiting. Went to the front desk all staff busy and no one to help. Tried this for 4 days same issue. Room did not seem remodeled I stayed at the tower.
- 5/5
The stay was lovely! The distance to the Allegiant Stadium was the most important this trip and it was a total of 10 mins by foot which is perfect if you have a UV umbrella, some liquid, and decent shoes. The food place right by the Green elevators is so convenient after a long day with awesome humans working there, delicious food, and decent prices for Vegas. Taking the elevator is always fun and I can't think of another place where I can say that I stayed in an actual pyramid!
- 3/5
Floors looked like they weren’t mop, stain carpet but very comfortable beds
- 2/5
There was a commercial fan outside our door ON the whole night, our sink was clogged (notified the facility and no one came to fix it), the shower head pressure was too much that it felt like needles hitting your skin, air conditioner worked slow to cool down the room. Everything was bearable, but was inconvenient. Wont stay here again.
- 5/5
Aniversary trip with family to Luxor. Our favorite resort!
- 4/5
I did NOT like the non-person / AI front desk check-in!!! The reason why? We had 2-rooms, and I requested them to be on the same floor, next to each other, or at least close to each other. They weren’t, and after waiting in-line, after a flight, and being tired, I wanted to get some dinner & a drink, as it was after 7pm. The elevators are so far apart from each other, it wasn’t convenient, and I was disappointed. Other than that, Luxor is good (not great), but good.
- 5/5
Very nice room. Would come back
- 1/5
The front desk was very difficult to deal with and showed little concern for what had happened. Security was somewhat more helpful, but the overall response from the hotel was far below what I expected. Because of how this situation was handled, I do not plan on staying here again. After sharing my experience with friends and family, they have also decided they will not book with this hotel. Customer service and guest safety should be a priority, and unfortunately, that was not my experience
- 2/5
Property needs renovation
- 5/5
Good casino
- 5/5
Muy bien
- 2/5
Overall price of food was to high. Dont recommend eating inside. 20-30 for 1 person. Inclinators rock you back and forth going up and down to rooms and doors shake. Rooms have no fridge. Nothing co plinentary or welcoming visitors. All tablet use for check in and out.
- 3/5
No staff for checking in
- 5/5
Absolutely wonderful experience! Would definitely recommend staying here!!!!
- 5/5
It’s a beautiful hotel but I saw many people waiting in the lobby for checking in because the new technology didn’t work well and had some problems.
- 4/5
The rooms were clean can be a little noisy at weekends but really pleased with my stay. Beds are super comfy
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 2/5
Room was clean but the restroom was not. Water pressure in shower is very low and is not ideal when trying to clean up especially right after a trip to the pool.
- 3/5
The air didn’t work too well. WiFi doesn’t work too well. Biggest issue was the air
- 5/5
Wonderful place to stay . Only problem is the pool was under construction
- 5/5
Muy cercas y económicos
- 4/5
Property (rooms) needs to updated. Pretty sure its the same decor from last time i stayed there 8yrs ago. Beds were extremely hard. Elevators (red) were very dated and had a lot of the wraps inside of them peeled off. They were also very shaky going up and down. Casino floor was very clean, restrooms were also clean and bright.
- 5/5
Bien
- 1/5
2) when I called guest services about #1 they didnt answer. 3) sink drain was clogged 4) shower drain was clogged. Ankle deep water within 3 minutes 5) outlets didn’t work in the room 6) hair on the bathroom floor from previous guests 7) wall hooks in bathroom falling off wall 8) bathroom door has water damage
- 5/5
the staff was great
- 5/5
- 2/5
Everything was insanely overpriced. Tourist trap extreme. You want breakfast? $80. You want lunch? $150. You want a nice dinner? $200 for one person. I understand it’s a casino - but WHY is this necessary? The market inside the casino / hotel charges $8 for an 8oz bottle of water. It’s insane.
- 3/5
The casino stinks like all the others.
- 5/5
The bed was comfortable and new, carpet was clean and bathrooms well equipped with full size shampoo, soaps and lotions. Kinder chairs and dresser with nice tv. Room was cooled nicely on arrival. Lots of the property is modernized with self check in/out and baggage retrieval good WiFi mesh that spans all their properties . Only misses were did not allow us our bags with clothing change, books, water in the pool area which seemed weird- they said we had to check them but didn’t want to have to uncheck and recheck them just to change our last day there. Elevators are super old inside with peeling finishes, exposed wires/control panels and inoperative buttons/lights but they got us where we needed to go without issues. Would definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
TV didn’t work asked 2 times for help and also asked for help with a large drunk party outside our rooms. Nothing!! Nobody came! We checked in around 11 and left at 5 am. Never again!
- 4/5
Property was as expected for the price. Pool was closed for renovations which was a surprise.
- 2/5
Didn't buy much bc everything is so expensive!!! 🙃 valet suxs!! Try n park valet!! N you'll see!! They wont let me put a price in my review lol BC even they know its Ridiculous!!! Everyone is rude & just wasent a pleasant stay!! I knew i should of kept my original reservation @ a different casino!! But you live n learn !! Sorry but its a No Bueno when it comes to mgm & luxor..
- 3/5
It was ok! Parking is far for self parking
- 5/5
Check-in was kind of rough (different than last time), but the staff were so helpful and friendly. I always love coming to the Luxor when there’s a BTS concert!
- 5/5
First time off the elevator my fear of heights kicked in. Ultimately found going to my room exhilarating. The architecture of this casino is truly a marvel. I’d go just to experience staying in a giant pyramid.
- 5/5
Everything was very good
- 1/5
Room was not very clean. There was hair in the shower stall. There is no staff to help you check in at all. They’re all kiosk and sometimes you need a human being to speak to. The building itself seems to be falling apart in the hallway of the 21st floor they were major cracks from the balcony to the next floor.
- 5/5
Good experience, lots of places to enjoy within walking distance
- 3/5
TV didnt work. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone on day 1 and nobody came the entire weekend. Bathroom was dirty when we arrived. They only change sheets and towels..not even a wipe down. People's hair was all over bathroom floor
- 3/5
Check in was so bad…
- 5/5
Great stay, very good price for the quality
- 5/5
The property was amazing. The amenities were ample and convenience stores were well stocked. Front staff were 5 stars and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and were empathetic to our situation. The room and sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable which was welcoming after a long day of travel.
- 5/5
loved my stay! service was great , rooms were very clean.
- 4/5
If you plan using Lyft or Uber to get around Vegas while your stay don't add the parking deal the hotel offers at the end you end up paying double for parking
- 5/5
Great resort, lots to do and see
- 5/5
Make sure you know which elevators to take! Staff was very helpful in making sure we were directed the right way to get to the correct elevator to get to our rooms.
- 4/5
The staff was really slow with the check ins but other than that it was a good trip.
- 4/5
Nice but dark in many areas.
- 5/5
The property was clean and easy to check in and great price that was best overall I will be back
- 5/5
Needed a refrigerator for storing medicines
- 3/5
For the amount charged for resort fees, the amenities did not live up to the cost
- 4/5
While in the hotel it’s nice and clean I will recommend it
- 3/5
When we got into the room it was dusty enough to write in. The carpet didn’t look like it had been vacuumed for weeks. Hard water stains and buildup all over the bathroom. The second day at the property, housekeeping came by but I was uncomfortable letting in someone with a backpack on, even though he was in uniform and pushing the cart. We didn’t leave anything of value in the room after that experience. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 5/5
This property was nice, clean and well maintained. In the center of all the strip fun.
- 4/5
It was good, not extraordinary but livable.
- 4/5
Be careful of the shower floor, mine was very slick with no grab bars to help. Vegas isn’t my thing, I went for the Titanic Exhibition. Absolutely amazing and well worth the $40. Try Shaq’s Big Chicken, freaking DELICIOUS! The Luxor staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole place was an incredible experience.
- 3/5
Overall not a bad stay. MGM you need to do some major upgrades to this property. I haven’t been to a hotel in years that doesn’t have USB ports. I had to charge my watch through the tv smh. Also it makes no sense to be completely digital in the check in aspect but nothing else. Also please fix the elevators.
- 4/5
It was an adventure
- 4/5
I got a very basic room. No coffee pot or frig. But other than that the room was very clean
- 1/5
The hotel is badly outdated. Major upgrades are needed. Housekeeping staff needs serious training and they should all wear hair nets. Plus, an air filtration system would be a wise investment. The pyramid elevators need fixing. They're a death trap waiting to happen.
- 5/5
This hotel is affordable and clean. It is dated and needs an upgrade especially the carpets and electrical sockets in the room. However, we were there to sleep and use the pool. Both were very clean. Would stay here again.
- 1/5
The check in was a nightmare, one of the staff, Julian was extremely helpful and was able to check me in after 3-4 hrs of waiting for my room. I will not go back to Loxur again.
- 3/5
This property has seen better days. Stayed in a tower room. Very dated, everything is dark and dingy. I would not recommend, there are much nicer places to stay on the Strip.
- 5/5
Very nice and price was perfect !!
- 5/5
Excellent location for attending Allegiant stadium
- 4/5
Heard twin tower rooms were updated and much better than pyramid, I had high hopes. I would’ve preferred to stay in pyramids. The beds weren’t as comfortable, pillows were flat. It felt hotter even turning the AC on fully. The bathrooms are tiny. Counter space was minimal. Shower head had no water pressure and no fan in the washroom.. which was odd and probably our biggest issue. There were 2 armchairs which were useful. Also the bed had plugs only in the middle so the person sleeping on the other side of the bed didnt have a plug to use. Wifi was quite bad over here compare to the pyramid. And the elevators were longer walk, with the hallways not having clear signs to find the rooms. Overall rating 2.5/5. Staff was friendly and provided prompt services. Giving us medication fridge when asked and housekeeping services as needed. Location is far from the middle strip but super close if going to concert at allegiant or sports game at t mobile arena. Would take my chances staying at the pyramid but not the tower.
- 3/5
I asked for a refrigerator for medication - it didn't work. The checkin was a nightmare, took 2hrs. Then we were told the wrong color elevator. Couldn't find the room. I have a bad back, this process was excruciating. Finally called security to help, thankfully they were able to locate our room. Never again. Bring back real people to check you in and staff that knows where the correct rooms are!
- 5/5
This was a wonderful experience
- 4/5
Air condoning in the room not cool enough.
- 3/5
Luxor is old, tired and lives in the past. Carpet is worn and appears dirty. Room is dated, dark. They don’t have enough power or charging outlets for laptops, tablets, etc. Not sure what improvements can be done on the rooms though.
- 3/5
Elevators are horrible, like all casino in Vegas the smell inside is bad
- 2/5
I didn't like the strong smell of fried food as soon as you stepped out of your room.

Staff was super rude. I found blood stains on my pillow sheets. Room key kept deactivating and I was escorted to my room by security as if I was doing something illegal. Supervisor did not allow me to express my concerns other than him saying to me “ we are very busy we r trying to help but sorry we cant help everyone”. I do not recommend staying there

- 5/5
They had our room booked with someone else but they offered us an upgrade to a suite. The food was delicious!!!
- 4/5
Self-parking was easy and it costs $20/day. But you can come and go as often as you want. The pool hours are 9A-7P, which I found to be inconvenient. It’s so blessed hot during the day an evening swim would be nice. The rooms are standard and nice. However, unless you have a suite, there is no mini-fridge. If you want one, it’s $35. This annoyed me. I’ve stayed at far less nicer hotels and had a fridge at each stay. The in-house stores are EXPENSIVE. I wanted two bottles of Pepsi, 20oz, it would have been $12+! Heck no! There is a lot of walking to and from your room if you stay in the pyramid. It was all worth it just for the Titanic exhibition! WOW! Oh, the shower in my room did not have grab bars and the floor is as slippery as ice. Be careful.
- 4/5
Ok
- 1/5
Very disappointed I have stayed there before and it was lovely but this time. Not good. No real person to talk to did not like no one at the desk. Room rather old and worn down. Stayed there for concert only because it was close to stadium. Did hear that is to be torn down soon and wish I would have stayed somewhere else. Very disappointed about room staff. This was my friends first visit to LasVegas and I have visited a lot. Would not have picked Luxor if I would have known it will be gone soon. And terrible price for condition Probably my last trip to LasVegas.
- 3/5
It was BTS concert week during my stay. Hotel has self check-in kiosks. After I checked in, I had a hard time finding my room #01211. I asked 3 different hotel staff where my room is located. None of them knew where my room was located. Finally the 4th staff I asked led me to my room. How can a guest find a room when majority hotel staff don't know?
- 5/5
Clean room, bed was very comfortable. Definitely staying there again.
- 2/5
Half the lights were broken or didn’t work, the water pressure was terrible, and the main reason we stayed there was the pool and no where did they say it would be getting worked on when we made the reservation. The elevators all had missing buttons or cracked panels it was over not a great experience and I won’t be staying at Luxor again

- 3/5
We had a 2 queen room in the pyramid. It was definitely the bare minimum, no fridge, no coffee machine, no hot water kettle, but it was what we needed. We were just there to sleep and the kids loved the pool. And it was nice there was a 24 food court and 24 hour "corner store." The staff was also very helpful. The room attendant has great recommendations for food off the strip and the lady at the front with the tables helped me with my room reservation.
- 1/5
The property is so run down. The furniture in my room looked like it came from a junk yard. I paid $188a night because I was at a conference. The room gets so hot from the sun you have to leave the curtains completely closed firing the day and use the lights. It was so depressing…. I finally left a day early even thought I had paid for the extra night and paid for another night at another hotel. Also the TVs are old no choice for Netflix etc and very limited channels.

The entertainment and casino portions are well done. But everything about the hotel itself is a complete disappointment. The hotel is old and located at the very end of the tourist area, far from the city's main attractions. The rooms are dated and in need of renovation. The air conditioning is very noisy and doesn't cool well, but it's impossible to do without it because the windows don't open. The check-in process is supposed to be automated, but in reality, you still have to go through the staff to get your keys, which takes time. During check-in, you're offered a complimentary cleaning service, but even after checking in, your room still wasn't cleaned.

- 1.5/5
The room was ver spacious. I don't even know where to begin but first of all, there is almost no real personals. Whole check in were made by machines and if there was a problem, we had to wait an incredible amount of time to find a staff. There were deposit and we learnt that fact in there. The other big problem was WALKING. To find reach our rooms, we had to run almost seven minutes. Our room was at the corner of the hotel and whole the elevators were far away, it was very inconvenient. In addition, the hotel was at the end of the strip.

This was my first time staying at the Luxor. The property is absolutely beautiful. My room was comfortable and on the 27th floor. I looked out the window and I had a view of Allegiant Stadium and the Hacienda bridge. I loved it. The food was great I ordered room service one day. The food was brought to my room very quick. It was so good. I just really loved your hotel. The location was ideal because I was going to the stadium for a BTS concert. N/A

I went to las vegas for a concert in Allegiant stadium, so the only good thing was that the hotel was close to it. They have charge more money than what my reservation was. The front desk people is not kind. I request to clean my room at the moment i checked in. They never came to clean. I was there 6 nights and in any of those days they went to clean it. The manager told me they can print my bording pass for free and whe. I arrived to the airport i see they charged more than $15.00 I have sent them messages so they can return the money and i am still waitting for their reply.

I was in town for the BTS concert. My hotel was fantastic! The room was large and everything was really easy to get to once I figured out where to go. I do wish the water pressure in the shower was better and the WiFi wasn’t always good but other than that The Luxor was a great hotel.
- 1/5
Bare necessities the room just looks like a staging room.
- 2/5
The initial check-in process moved quickly, but when we arrived at the self-service kiosk, it would not complete our check-in despite our reservation being in the system and us arriving at the correct time. We ultimately had to locate an employee to correct the issue. The room itself was spacious and comfortable; however, the refrigerator had been removed, which was an inconvenience. We also had difficulty obtaining towels, requiring three separate requests through three different methods before they were finally delivered. On a positive note, the valet attendants and bell staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful. Their excellent customer service made a significant difference in our overall stay and was one of the highlights of our experience.
- 5/5
TV channels/reception very poor though. I liked the location, easy access with free train to NyNy, MGM or Mandalay Bay.
- 3/5
Walking from the self-parking lot area which is the back of the property it smells very bad (sewage) walking up the ramp to the rear entrance the same soda can was there all 3 days. Parking is an additional 20 dollars per night. The cleaning staff is friendly and the hotel is close to everything.

They have now introduced a self check in system that was supposed to alleviate the long queues (45 mins to check in after a 12 hour flight is less than ideal). However, sometimes customers require human intervention, and there is now very little staff around to support. It could be so much better, given the excellent location

no refrigerator, coffee maker in the room. check in was via kiosk. although there was someone offering assistance but of course not enough people to assist. then you have to wait for a text to notify you when your room is ready. then another kiosk to program your own key. valet driver wanted us to pay another $20 on top of the daily rate to ”keep the car closeby or it will take long because of the event”. check out was easy though.
- 3/5
That said, the staff we interacted with were all pleasant and helpful and we had a clean, comfortable room for less than a motel 6 back home in Oregon; just know before you go. Have fun!

Its very ugly place
- 2/5
Check in was not fun! Very long lines and they directed us to a self-check in kiosk. The computer couldn’t scan my drivers license and we had to wait for help. Others were having the same issue. A text was sent to our cell that directed us to another kiosk where we had difficulty with the QR code reader and along with other customers we figured it out amongst ourselves. Very little help from staff. Elevators made strange sounds and were jerky. We won’t come back again.
- 5/5
Everything was ok
- 4/5
We requested a room closer to the elevator and was assigned to a lower floor that had standard elevators (not the inclinators) which was faster for access. The spacious king room was clean and seemed recently renovated in the last few years. Bedding was fine. There was no refrigerator or coffee maker. Location to Allegiant Stadium was excellent, however, being on the south Strip required alterative transportation options further north on the Strip--a significant portion of our budget was spent on Uber fares. The automated check-in/check-out process was easy and efficient with staff available for special room requests. The available dining options were limited. The few we tried were adequate but not stellar. There is a 24-hour food court for fast food junkies.
- 2/5
The location was nice and close to stadium Bed was comfy Whole place was very dirty and out dated No refrigerator, loud air conditioner Very scary elevator, peeling paint and mold on walls and ceiling

I enjoyed the location and amenities in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and cleaned the room each day. I didn’t like the restaurants that were open late. For the price, they should’ve been of better quality. Paid $60 for two Phillies and they used slice cheese on top of the sandwich that wasn’t even melted.
- 3.5/5
The room and the staff were wonderful. The view from the 15th floor was great. You could tell the hotel needs some upgrades. We stayed on the 15th floor, the elevators were scary they would shake and sometimes stop for a short second then continue. Some of the paint was stripping off the doors.

Needed to find a hotel close to where we are going that night to watch a concert. And Luxor was the one who offered a reasonable rate, within our budget. I wasn't able to use the parking I paid at bookings.com. No one was at the checked-in counter and was not able to inquire about it. We checked in prior online and arrived at midnight. No choice but to pay for parking at the site so we can leave. It took more than half an hour to leave the parking structure bec of the cars on queue.
- 3.5/5
I enjoyed the location as it was close to the concert. However, the check-in process was not easy and they don't take apple pay (they need a credit card). That was annoying. Next time just have your credit card ready. Although pool was closed, they did let us know that we could go to the Mandalay Bay Hotel pool down the way, which was excellent. The sink faucet was not working properly. The right handle of the sink was not working the way it was supposed to. That was really annoying. Pool was closed for repair.

The pop-up balloon (Borahaegas) was a great idea for photo op. Restaurants and shops were very accessible. Room was of decent size. Check out was a breeze. Did not receive the QR code for the room key on time. Three staff members had to be approached for this at the busiest time for check in (3pm). The third person finally offered assistance in a hurried but effective manner.

Bed & linens were nice & comfy. Since Starbucks & other food establishments close by midnight, one can't get coffee. It would be OK if water kettle & coffee cups were.provided in the rooms or common area. Shower water seeped thru from the shower area to the toilet area. For the price, I expected more from the rooms.

The property is in disrepair. Wall coverings peeling off. MGM seems to have abandoned this hotel. Breakfast was pretty rough. Analog TV with horrible picture and limited channels. One TV didn’t even work until they came and fixed it. The check-in process was slow and maddening. Text messages are unclear where your room is. Several people were as confused as me. Blow this outdated piece of crap up and start over with new property.

This hotel is quite outdated and is in dire need of renovations. Peeling paint in elevators, hole under the shower facet in the bathroom and when we arrived, the fan in the bathroom was not working at all. We were on the phone for a while to get in touch with guests services but once we got a hold of them, a technician came to our room promptly and was very friendly and helpful and he replaced the fan quickly for us. We greatly appreciated this. The rooms do not have basic amenities like a small fridge or even a microwave and the TV quality was not even HD. The room was in general clean, which we appreciated just would not recommend staying at this property due to it being outdated and having no amenities to speak of, especially when there are other options to choose from that would likely be a more comfortable stay.
- 1/5
No microwave in our room and our friends didnt have a mini fridge or a microwave! This was a terrible hotel stay and will definitely not be coming back.
- 5/5
Very clean and professional.
- 4/5
Was perfectly fine for a 2-night stay. Convenient to Allegiant Stadium, shower was good, bed was comfy and a/c worked well. Doesn’t have the best quick food options. Check-in is pretty easy with the self-service kiosks.
- 1/5
we specifically booked in this hotel for convenience because it was close to the event's location. We paid premium to secure the slot. Instead they overbooked and threw us out to different hotel, making it so inconvenient, we had to pay extra for taxi fare to go to the event. They said they were going to refund the hotel and pay for our taxi fare to compensate the inconvenience but they they never did. I am not very impressed with the services.

- 5/5
The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I was traveling solo and felt very safe.
- 4/5
Luxor needs to update basic electronics in room so travelers can charge multiple devices and play music in their rooms!
- 2/5
This was my first and last time staying at the Luxor. The hotel is known for its legacy and is visibly beautiful but the rooms needs updating and some major TLC. My first room had some questionable substances on the walls and nightstands that had me scared to stay there. Not to mention it was a handicap accessible room and I didn't book that. I called guest services to change rooms. I was then placed in another room which was a little cleaner than the one prior but still similar situation where I had stains on the walls. This room even had the framing from the door coming apart. I felt comfortable enough to stay overnight but I immediately checked out the following morning and did not continue the remainder of my stay there. All the staff I encountered during this time were super kind and accommodating but the hotel needs a deep clean.

The room wit cockroaches.
- 5/5
It's clean though the carpet in the pyramid room need to be updated. Good thing the next time we stayed, we booked the tower which is newly renovated. The room is nice and clean
- 3/5
I had to get in 3 more small lines with live humans to actually get the QR code to then get into another queue for my physical key card we programmed ourselves. If I hadn’t gotten into my human line to find out it didn’t accept my apply pay payment then I would have waited hours with no notification that there was an issue with my card payment like some guys next to me waited 6 hours after checking into get their QR code. It was an inhuman process to make things efficient but was far from that experience. Other than that, it was like any other Vegas hotel where it’s smoky from forcing to walk through casinos to find your room miles away at the other end of the hotel. The room service wasn’t open when we wanted to eat at 5 PM. In like all hotels in Vegas the food was extremely expensive so even though I took a $50 credit voucher by paying 22 bucks and try to stick in that budget, they slept on an unexpected $50 Resort fee anyway at the end.
- 3/5
The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but cleanliness was a major issue. We found cockroaches in the bathroom, and when we tried contacting the help desk, no one was available to assist us. On top of that, the bathroom sink was clogged during our stay. lack of cleanliness and poor customer service made the experience frustrating.
- 3/5
The room was definitely sub par at best, there was no coffee maker, nor was there a fridge. The room was dingy the whole hotel was dingy really. And the pool was under construction with no one working on it I know that’s a little picky but I would have changed my hotel had I know these things. There is a reason it was so affordable I’m sure of that. I decided shortly after I got there that I would not be returning to this particular hotel. If I ever go back to Vegas this will not make the cut for places to stay.
- 5/5
Was good stay just no fridge or microwave to save food
- 2/5
The furniture and decor in the room was old and the entire room smelled of mold. The wall papper in the hallway was falling off and the carpet was dirty. Though, the bed was very comfortable and the sheets and duvet were clean. Limited contact with staff; but they were adequate.

Didnt have another opportunity to go by pool. I was so bummed....

Elevators getting to the rooms were a little weird but so is the general shape of the building. Late night dining was great, sports book super, shows and the casino were as expected. Self parking was secure and easy to get to. Checking in via an electronic quisk was challenging but since I haven't been to Vegas in years, that is how they all do it now. ...........

Upon arriving, they surprise you with tacked on resort fees AND a room deposit (for 4 nights, ours wound up being $204 in resort fees and a $200 deposit hold) even after paying in full through Expedia. We stayed in the pyramid and the room was nice and clean but found a bug (small roach?) in the bathroom on the next day; didn’t see another bug throughout the stay other than that one though. No fridge in the room, no microwave, or coffee maker. No conditioner, only shampoo and body wash in the shower. Couldn’t really see out of the pyramid windows very well due to the black tint/wrap they have on the outside of the building. Went to the pool to try and relax but it was giving community pool vibes and pool was shallow. Looks nothing like the pictures advertised at all, and they were doing construction work on the other pool areas which didn’t make for a quiet or peaceful pool session. Overall, it was a nice stay since it was somewhere to rest our heads and it was a really close walk to the stadium for a concert I was going to but I’d probably choose elsewhere next time.
- 5/5
Perfect yo stay close to Allegiant for the BTS concert
- 1/5
I didn’t like that the advertisement showed all five pools will be in use. That’s why I picked this hotel. I feel that this should’ve been nightlife for adults to swim at night. It shouldn’t shut down at 7 PM every day at least nine. I will never stay at this hotel again the bathrooms was dirty in a room had to switch to another room got another room. The bathroom still was dirty so I went to the store and bought products to clean the bathroom properly. Their main restaurant is always closed. Opens at whatever time closes at one so that’s that I think this hotel could do better for the money that they’re charging.

The room had bed bugs and I was bit during my stay. I was charged for the dry cleaning when they said I wouldn’t be. I’m sure I’ll get charged for the other dirty room they put us in. They have to have an independent company do an inspection and I’ll eventually get an e-mail of some sort, which just means I’m not going to get anything. People say to make a claim, where? I didn’t get the travel insurance so I just have to eat it. Looks like I’ll be developing agoraphobia bc I’m not likely to travel again. Oh well.
- 5/5
Room was clean even though worn in. Pyramid king 6th floor I would recommend something to drown out the noise of the casino/bars. Other than that it was a wonderful stay!
- 5/5
Outdated room but clean.
- 3/5
Stayed here because it was close to Allegiant Stadium. Bathrooms were updated. The beds were comfortable. There was an iron with ironing board, and a hair dryer. But no mini fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker. You can buy waters there for $7-8 a bottle. Housekeeping is good, room was clean. Elevators are a little finicky to use, and there was even an exit sign in the hallway that was hanging by its wires which made it look kinda ghetto. They should probably fix that.
- 4.5/5
There is a horrible sewer smell in the indoor pathway between the main hotel and the towers. It existed our entire stay.
- 4/5
Refrigerator in the room
- 5/5
Food court foods are great. Convenience store in the hotel is great.
- 2/5
It’s really old and not in good condition. Also the mattresses are terrible — they’re really squishy and you wake up with neck pain.
- 2/5
I’m not happy with this hotel
- 3/5
The check in is fully automated and there were limited staff. Accessibility to make your own room key card was nice. Breakfast is convenient at the pyramid cafe. Fridge is extra fee, no microwave in the room. Parking is an extra fee. Resort fee and taxes are separate from Expedia booking.
- 4/5
Es un hotel de habitaciones sencillas y muy buena localización para moverte a otros hoteles y al estadio. El Piramyd Cafe para desayuno fue excelente.
- 1/5
Pésimo servicio para el check in, más de dos horas perdido
- 5/5

- 5/5
Very close to everywhere
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful. The room needs some updates but it was clean. The elevators needs to be better maintained. Overall the staff was awesome.
- 3/5
We checked in at 11 am. Knew we likely wouldn't get a room until check-in time at 3 pm. We never got a text back with a QR code for our key. It wasn't until I went to the counter for the third time to talk to someone that we got our room at 7 pm! It was such a stressful hassle. The concert we were in town for started at 8 pm.
- 3/5
This property was good enough for me to feel safe and secure, have a bed to sleep in, and a room to lock up my things in while I traveled, so it meets the minimum requirements. Beyond that it didn't offer much. There was no interaction with staff during the fully automated check-in process, so no opportunity to ask any questions, and when I got to my first room it had obviously not been cleaned. They moved me to a fresh room but it took about an hour to do so after a long travel day. I was on the 21st floor so it regularly took about 15 minutes to walk/elevator from the lobby to my room. There was no wifi signal available in the room, an old TV that turned off and on by itself with standard definition cable, lights that flickered off and on constantly, no refrigerator, no coffee maker, no closet (there was a small hanging rack in the room), a broken luggage rack, a run-down, old looking bathroom, etc. It was not super comfortable but it did suffice for a weekend.

👍
- 4/5
Had a tower suite. No complaints, great for the price.
- 4/5
Clean room, only problem is that it felt humid. Thermostat was set on low but it didn’t feel like the room was cooling down
- 4/5
The room I received did not have any coffee maker/hot water and/or microwave. I read in their website that it was taken out of their less value rooms. it was inconvenient to keep going to casino floor to buy coffee and/or tea or come back early morning and not have hot water to drink.

making the line for self parking about 45 min, was full , they send me to valet for 40 dollar daily, the guy charge me 20 cash then the hotel 80 for 2 nights, i felt insecure when a man knock at my door asking to open the door for a delivery but I didn’t order nothing, he knew my name and room number, I couldn’t sleep that night , for check out the link didn’t work , i had to make a line to do it 😕 wasting too much time since the first moment
- 3/5
Everything was just ok. The room booked was not the room we got. Booked single room 2 queens, got 1 room king. Not exactly awesome for party of 4. Dining on site was great.
- 5/5
Love staying at the luxor
- 5/5
Room was great, beds were comfortable
- 3/5
When trying to call housekeeping the phone did not work. Tried several times and only the speaker part worked on the phone. Some of the tv channels did not work. One channel had a movie on, but music was playing over it. Two channels you can hear the sound, but no picture. When trying to check out the tv, that did not work.
- 3/5
You have to use a physical card for kiosk check in if not it says there was an error. Staff assisting in the kiosk was not helpful. Room service for food after 4pm was not available, we had to go pick up our food. Some power outlets from the room did not work.
- 2/5
Our TV never worked even though we asked for someone to come fix it 4 times. We had to get 4 of meals remade while in the luxor restaurants. None of the staff was willing to help us when asked and just kept pushing us off to other staff members. I will not be staying here again because of the way we were treated and unprofessional the staff acted towards us.
- 5/5
I’ve never had a dirty or questionable room! Clean and big, well kept offer housekeeping daily if you need it. Pyramid restaurant great food and staff. AC works great! If you need a refrigerator they charge 25$ daily if you need it. They have small med refrigerators for free use. Lots of coolers at check in.
- 1/5
TERRIBLE!!! The showers were clogged right when we checked in. We called maintenance and no one came until we were about to check out. Couldn’t shower for two days after spending hours in the Vegas sun. They gave us a $50 dining voucher as a fake sorry and NO ONE ACCEPTED IT. They told us all the restaurants including the food court on MGM/Luxor property would accept it but nope! Only 3 restaurants and two of them were closed. No manager available. No one willing to help. No working escalator. So have fun carrying your luggage down a flight of stairs. Shaky elevator that feels like it will snap any minute. Never coming back.
- 4/5
The check in line can be long then have to wait for a QR code to get keys
- 5/5
Great experience. Always alive
- 1/5
Shower room is clogged and water just stayed. Horrible. All facade too old.
- 5/5
Double queen suite was spacious and reasonably priced. Especially appreciated the separate living room area...nice to be able to entertain/relax in that space without significantly disturbing anyone sleeping in the bedroom area.
- 4/5
The check-in was a little complicated but staff ess availableto help. They walked me through the process and even escorted me to my room. Meals were easy to find abd delicious. Will definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
I like the fact that Luxor is walking distance to Allegiant Stadium. I don’t like how you have to go to three different station to check in, to create and pick up the key and to drop the bags. At the key station there was a huge line, no staff was paying attention to the guest, I saw the opposite side of the line there are at least 5 key station that are not in use, I look at the staff they don’t care if the line was long and there are available key station to use and never direct guest to it. It was a horrible experience. Maybe Luxor can retrain their staff to be more attentive since there bunch of them just standing there and talking to each other.
- 5/5
Loved the hotel experience. Great location for Allegiant Stadium. Thank you for the BTS love. Rooms clean & great views. Will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Always a fun time staying here!
- 2/5
I booked a king size room a month in advance and when we got there they gave me a room with 2 queen beds I called room service kept me on hold for a long time just to tell me all they can do is give me a 100 dollar food comp will never stay here again
- 5/5
The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly. It’s very conveniently located close to the stadium.
- 5/5
Clean room,
- 5/5
Check in process was smooth and they let us use the mandalay bay pool due to the luxor pool being under construction. The room was fresh with av working great and the shower was good with nice water pressure. Lighting was good too. Tv remote needed some help bc it wasnt working with the tv and the tv for that matter was a little too slow to work. They accommodated our comp late check out, that was amazing for us to get some extra time!
- 4/5
Staff are very helpful, we had to move rooms and it wasn’t an issue. Room Cleaning seemed to be hit or miss, although we left no door tag, but they were responsive to needing extra towels so that was good. Room was clean and maintained, but has no refrigerator or coffee makers. Food court, Starbucks and convenience store available. Blue man group is amazing show, Bodies is worth seeing too! Great access to Mandalay Bay and Excalibur to get to NYNY and other hotels - easy walk. Overall good experience!
- 5/5
I do wish there was coffee in the room like every budget hotel anywhere. But I get it….it’s Vegas.
- 3/5
Need access to microwave and need refrigerator inside rooms. Just my suggestion.
- 1/5
The bottom-line: Way over-priced for a hotel still thinking it's 1995. Will not be back.
- 4/5
Nice clean room , great view , we liked that we could easily get to other properties. Pool was clean and nice too
- 2/5
Elevator access was excellent. Despite heavy foot traffic, we rarely waited more than a minute in either tower, which was a big plus compared to other Strip resorts. Food and beverage options were fairly limited, and we found quality inconsistent. We often chose to dine at nearby resorts for more variety. The south Strip location is also something to consider. It requires a lot of walking to reach central attractions, which is fine if you’ve been to Vegas before, but less ideal for short stays or first-time visitors. The biggest issue was customer service. Our room’s AC was not working properly, and after four nights of poor sleep due to heat, we raised it with the front desk. Our friends in another tower had no issues, so it was clearly room-specific. We were told maintenance would be informed, but when we asked about timing, we were told, “This is Vegas, it’s hot.” With outside temperatures around 33°C, this felt dismissive. I’ve stayed at the Excalibur Hotel in extreme 50°C+ August heat and still had a properly functioning room. We were not asking for compensation, only working AC or a room change. Overall, the room was good, but the service experience left us disappointed and unlikely to return.
- 3/5
The casino was great. Very up-to-date and nice and fun entertainment. The rooms could definitely use some updating. They’re very dark and not inviting. The bed was very comfortable. Not sure I would stay here again due to the older looking decor in the hotel rooms. Great location though.
- 3/5
it is still awesome but feels unmantained
- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
No night life, or restaurants open 24. Towels smell. Dirty and old. 1 perk, location for evers at the allegiant.
- 4/5
Decent hotel, but clean bedding sheets upon arrival could be improved.
- 5/5
Staff are helpful and the room is clean
- 5/5
Overall stay was good. Pool was nice, had multiple Starbucks locations which was helpful. Only thing is wish the check in process didn’t divert everybody to a kiosk and then bounce you back and forth when a real person face to face check in would be more ideal.
- 4/5
The hotel smelled like cheap vanilla room freshener and stale cigarette smoke. That and the hotel is starting to show its age, but on the whole the staff is friendly, the food ant the Pyramid Cafe was wonderful, and the hotel is clean. Definitely worth staying in if you are seeing a concert at Allegiant Stadium
- 5/5
The hotel is a little dated however it is very clean. The proximity to Allegiant stadium is perfect, such an easy walk.
- 5/5
Checking in to a hotel can be a hassle, but the process was so EASY at Luxor. That reason alone means I’ll stay again. Perfect location for Alligent Stadium events.
- 4/5
Love that the property is close to the concert venue—Allegiant Stadium. The towers were decent. Was a bit disappointed there wasn’t room service for food. There are eateries in the hotel and it connects to Mandalay shoppes and restaurants, but when you’re looking for food late at night and not up for dining in…
- 5/5
Well there really was no staff
- 3/5
Not great. Run down, air in the pipes when I checked in.
- 3/5
One think I did not like it was the fact that the room did not have a little fridge, no coffee machine. When I called the concierge line it took me a long time until someone will answer and he never gave me the correct information Overall, I will choose this hotel again.
- 3/5
.
- 3/5
The smell of smoke in all the areas it’s terrible. The room didn’t come with a fridge, you had to call the front desk to rent it (which for the amount you paid per night, sounds like a joke). Amenities, shampoo, soap and hair dryer, that’s it. Don’t spec shower caps or nothing like that, bring them from home. Rented a room here because of the location was convenient for me and what I planned to do but definitely I wouldn’t come back, too expensive for what it offers. Also, the resort fee is charge by end of your stay, is a fee per night, not by stay so add like $50 more per night for you to pay if you plan to stay here :)
- 4/5
Overall, it was a good stay! The room was pretty clean… location was still walkable to most of the strip!
- 5/5
Our room was ok for the price, no mini fridge or microwave so be ware. Room was quite dusty very much so in bathroom! But liked how we could use all the neighbouring hotels and the pool and tram are very nice
- 5/5
Great deals on shows. Easily accessible by vehicle or foot. Being able to utilize the pool at Mandalay Bay was awesome!
- 5/5
Fine
- 2/5
Additionally we didn’t have a fridge and the space where the fridge had previously been was an empty space. It looked like the fridge had been ripped out or stolen that day!
- 4/5
Convenient stay to the stadium. Didn’t like that there was no refrigerator in my room .
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Room was nice but it reeked of weed. To each their own but I don’t want my room to smell like this. Got in pretty late so next day asked housekeeping in hall just to deodorize it. She was very nice & did a great job. Other than that stay was great & loved I could walk to Allegiant for BTS.
- 5/5
Volvería a ir 😎
- 3/5
We arrived for our stay and were given the keycard to a room occupied by another person. This was very awkward and super annoying. Also, we were kept waiting downstairs in the lobby for hours after a long, delayed flight because their were no rooms available even though I booked mine months in advance. This may have just been a "one-off" experience but I was not happy about it. Spend the money on a nicer hotel because you will not regret that. The staff was alright but the front desk people did not treat me with respect. I did not raise my voice, was always respectful and never wanted to argue, but they were already prepared and willing to be that way with me regardless. Just because other people treated them with disrespect does not give them the right to do that to someone who was trying to be kind and understanding. My girlfriend had to sleep on a bench in the lobby for about two hours. I think that is unacceptable.
- 5/5
There is no chance to talk with the staff. Machines are replaced to the staff who was supposed to be at the front desk with smiling…
- 1/5
Room was decent but had a terrible odor. Staff didn’t speak enough English to help resolve.
- 5/5
Best 100%
- 4/5
Old hotel, staff good, rooms clean and functional. Food locations not great and expensive. But general food selection in vegas is not great unless you want fast food all the time.
- 3/5
In hindsight it makes sense for Vegas, where the goal is for you to get out and spend as much money as possible. But I had arrived with a few snack foods needing refrigeration; the constant ice game was kind of tiring, and just another waste of water in a desert. And speaking of water; literally NO water stations for refilling water bottles. (!!!) In this day and age? Really?? Also it was nearly impossible to reach the front desk from the room; you had to physically go to the front desk. That said, they did send someone out to fix the TV pretty quickly. So, good on that. Overall for a cheaper hotel, it was ok. I did really enjoy the Egyptian decor!
- 1/5
The first day arriving was great. We were checked in early, got our room quickly, and when I mentioned we were celebrating my birthday the next day, the check-in staff gave us a $30 voucher for two drinks. That was very appreciated and made me feel welcomed. The next day, we spent time with a friend who drove from Arizona to celebrate with us. When we returned to the room that evening, my girlfriend noticed our room had not been serviced. I didn’t think it was a huge issue at first and tried calling housekeeping and the front desk for over 30 minutes with no answer. I eventually went downstairs and spoke with staff, who immediately got a manager. He was very kind, apologized, offered us a meal voucher, and arranged to have the room serviced right away. Unfortunately, we were never able to use the voucher because nobody seemed to know how it worked, and the QR code only pulled up MGM restaurants. The following night, our room again was not serviced. At that point, we were leaving the next day and I no longer had the energy to deal with it again. The in-person staff were friendly and tried to help, but the lack of housekeeping follow-through and unresolved voucher issue left a negative impression on what started as a great birthday trip. Also let staff a guest was vomiting in the walkway between the shops. Later walked by and the puke was still there.

- 3/5
The stay was okay, staff was not informative on certain things nor friendly. But overall it was nice decent . Felt like I should have chosen other hotels when I went to visit them.
- 4/5
There is no water anywhere. It was hard when I had the kids under 21 who couldn't go on the bar and the only water was located in the gym for those over 18 or pool that closed at 6. It seems like a hazard for people and dehydration I know they want you drunk but it seems not worth it. The elevators sucked super scary. Staff was amazing and so pleasent and helpful as well as patient when we got lost in such a huge hotel.
- 2/5
TV was broken d
- 2/5
Room was dirty, no fridge or anything in the room. Self check in - self check out, made my own keys. No real staff assistance.
- 2/5
You don’t get any amenities in this hotel. Got to the hotel, there was no body wash, the sink was clogged, the shower was slippery, and you have to pay for parking per vehicle. Then they will charge you again for the other car. Food delivery doesn’t know where to drop off your order, They say you have it in your room, even though mine was empty. The beds are hard, and the pillows are uncomfortable. A/C in room didn’t work properly was set to 65 it was always 71 in the room will never go back.
- 5/5
Everything was great at the hotel. My only dislike is there are no handicap grab bars in the shower. Otherwise everything else was great
- 5/5
It was a Greathotel enjoyed myself
- 2/5
Our room had an empty shower soap bottle the entire stay and burnt out lights in the bathroom. Big pool is closed and under construction and the open pool is a mess from black stains on the pool deck, to a ring inside the pool walls of scum and plenty of floating band aids in the pool water that had fallen off people.
- 1/5
The check-in was horrible! Touch pads not working, long lines. Incorrect room queen instead of king that I rented! Was told first come first serve!
- 4/5
Was a very enjoyable stay room was great everything about the hotel was pretty great except for the scary elevators if you're not used to that it's a little unnerving at least to say but you'll get through it I would probably say the hotel is not probably good for somebody that's not good with heights but other than that I can't wait to stay again in June this year with both my daughters not just my oldest
- 5/5
We had a great time!
- 5/5
Was very impressed. Excellent price and a great room. Loved the pool.
- 4/5
The rooms were very clean, however no amenities (not even a piece of paper) I was disappointed in the pool area, need to update and change those mats on the loungers, also need tables and chairs with an umbrella. The pool looked very nice
- 1/5
Additionally, it is terrible to know that this is an establishment amongst many that have the revenue to accommodate their guest. But the fact that there is no refrigerator only a four can cooler on top of the area where there’s a space for an actual refrigerator is astronomical. - My view of the Luxor “Never Again” will I stay there.
- 1/5
I found blood stains in the shower that the staff tried referring to as paint. Poorly maintained. There were roaches on the walls as big as can be imagined.
- 5/5
Refrigerators need to be in every room.
- 3/5
Clean room. Staff could be better.
- 5/5
Clean and peaceful stay
- 4/5
The staff were very good with providing us with directions. There was only shampoo available in the washroom (no conditioner), hair trimmings on the bathroom floor, and a website that didn't allow us to check out. Otherwise, it was busy but an enjoyable place to be.
- 3/5
The Luxor is way past it's prime. Room was clean. Shower didn't drain very well. No mini fridge in room. Big tv, but no high definition. Elevators, which were pretty bad looking, made eveyone a little nervous as they clunked their way up and down.
- 4/5
There was no refrigerator in the room to keep water cold.
- 3/5
Had issues with self check in. Attendant was very helpful as he had to manually locate our reservation and bypass the system twice. Kudos for his hard work and smiling through it. 😁 Then had to wait for an email to get my room and keys. Never went through this kind of process before. Definitely some customer pain points here. Then the fun of going up the shaking "inclinators" . Wow, we were kinda freaked out. It all made sense after we read the plaque but maybe a heads up before our first ride would have been helpful. Only other issue was no fridge in the room. Otherwise, very friendly staff and enjoyed our stay.
- 3/5
Front desk was horrible and rude. Would call and immediate to hold, no greeting whatsoever, then would eventually hang up on you. Called back 4 times before there was an answer.
- 5/5
Excellent staff. Great hotel!
- 3/5
The check-in was terrible. The lobby workers were rude and not helpful.
- 3/5
Pool currently under construction. Kiosk for check in so no real customer service.
- 1/5
Smokey and not well maintained. Would never stay here again even for 2 dollars. You spend more than the savings in food and drinks. Dont do the travel timeshare invitation from the lobby they are overpriced.

- 1/5
The hotel double charged and they refuse to give any reasons.
- 5/5
We only stayed one night. For the price the room was excellent
- 3.5/5
Good location. Rooms/bathrooms a little rundown/shabby for price. Very disappointed that I paid extra for a premium upgrade, which pictured a room overlooking the strip and was put in a room with a window overlooking a concrete slab with the HVAC system. That should’ve been disclosed. Very false advertising and price was exorbitant for state of room.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 4/5
Great place to stay if your seeing The Blue Man Group. Bed was comfortable. Show was great. You have a ton of eating options without going outside! Just needs some carpet upgrades here and there. Our Room was excellent.
- 4/5
the service is good but the rooms look very old
- 3/5
The food options are very limited compared to nearby hotels. Walking in Vegas is a must but the Luxor is a little farther down the strip so a lot of ubering. The cleaning staff was lovely.
- 5/5
Everything is perfect
- 3/5
No staff AI for everything so sad taking jobs away
- 4/5
Room was very dated with an odd smell and flickering light bulbs and an air conditioner that barely worked. I’ve also never in my life stayed in a hotel that you had to RENT a mini fridge. The elevators were disgusting and rickety. Within minutes of being there someone warned us that they were trapped in the elevator for over an hour. This place needs updated asap!
- 1/5

They left me without a room because the night staff was too lazy to do their jobs and had to stay at another property. Morning staff realized what they did and tried to make it right. Rooms are not great… bring your own shampoo and body wash! Hard to believe MGM puts their brand on this property…

Upon checking in & getting my room, I came downstairs to tell the agents that I was dissatisfied with the location of my room. I was told that it was late in the night and that the hotel was almost sold out. If I came down early in the morning the next day Friday, May 8 I would be able to change rooms. Unfortunately Friday when I spoke to the agent I was told that the hotel did not have any rooms available for me to change locations, as well as I should've done it the night before instead of waiting. The room had been at the very tail end of the hallway, near the exit sign. It was isolated and dark and made me uncomfortable, I began having a slight anxiety attacks walking to the location of that room being a solo traveler. I explained this to the agent and her manager at the time, she seemed sincerely helpful and apologized for not being able to accommodate me and said that she could at least takeoff the resort fee. As well as for me to try back the next day, and there will for sure be another room available. I had a full itinerary, and missed out on a few events waiting in the excessively long line to speak to someone. I accepted her offer and decided to come back the next day. On this day, I had tickets to go see my favorite artist Mary J .
- 3/5
Not well maintained and location little off the strip
- 1/5
These resort fees in Vegas are out of control - you have to pay 2x the price for "resort features" that you never use and those charges are not shown up front on the Expedia pricing. A $60 room was suddenly $120.

Rooms outdated but still clean and super fun as always

Good towels. More than a few choices for breakfast. We did not use the casino.
- 1/5
There were a lot of issues that frustrated our trip, none of the staff seemed to know or be able to resolve, aside for the waiting time (c. 30 minutes) it took to be seen. Spoilt the experience!!
- 2/5
It is in need of major repairs. Nothing worked and no one to speak with.
- 5/5
Wish their was a fridge in the room other than that everything was excellent
- 5/5
Everything was very clean, and the Egyptian-themed design was an obviously fun touch. The casino was solid, with plenty of entertainment options, and our room was quiet at night, which made for a great night’s sleep. The room itself was very spacious and had excellent blackout curtains that helped us sleep comfortably. We didn’t get to use the pools because I think they are in the process of updating them. We also wanted to mention how friendly the employees were. Even though much of the check-in and checkout process is handled digitally through kiosks, several staff members still approached us just to chat, make us feel welcome, and check that everything was going well during our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Las Vegas—hopefully with another upgrade, because the room we had was fantastic.
- 2/5
I've stayed at the Luxor before. The rooms sure are rundown now. Disappointed
- 1/5
Upon arrival we had to wait for the room to be cleaned . When entering the room it did not smell the greatest or like it had been cleaned . We had to ask one of the cleaning staff if they could clean the room again for us . The bathroom smelled like rotten eggs . The fridge was broken , running hot and musty smelling . The room itself was nice a spacious but it was the little things that made the room not so great .
- 4/5
My second time visiting LV & first time staying at this property. This is one of best hotel experiences I ever had! Clean & spacious room, lots of amenities, restaurants…huge property. Love the Egyptian pyramid shape of the hotel along the Egyptian sphinx & hieroglyphics throughout the property. I’ll definitely stay again!
- 3.5/5
The long line by hotel registration, less Personal on desk, to long time to wait just for take the room cards, no room cleaning everyday. The furniture is old and poor,, no refrigerator, no coffee machine. It is a big disappointment!

The hotel and ancient Egypt replica To long line and to long waiting time by hotel registration, less Personal on reception desk, old and poor furniture in the room, no refrigerator oder coffee machine, not everyday cleaning, less hauskeeping.

I liked the open space. I feel like the amenities were kind of plain as in the room there was no fridge or coffee pot, water, or anything.
- 3.5/5
The theming and the location on the trip were great plus it was cheap when we reported a problem the staff took care of us on it It can take quite a while to walk to our room
- 2/5
Very good location! Run down. Had to rent a fridge for $25.
- 5/5
The room was comfy and well made specially the bed! The interior of the hotel was a sight to see with the theming. Made it feel like a theme park. Staff was excellent with directions and check in was simple. Definitely would stay here again.

Got room that smelled like sewage, the bed sunk all the way to the box springs and the tv didn’t work
