Room wasn’t as expected, we had no towels and when we asked it took 2 hours out more to get some. Staff was friendly and helpful but room wasn’t very clean.

Staff was very friendly, and location in a good place close to convenient stores and restaurants. The bed was too hard for my liking, but not so hard that I couldn’t sleep.

The guy on the office was helpful. The Motel price was so expensive, they didn't clean my room, they didn't change the bed sheets they didn't change bathroom towels, they didn't take out the trash, I will never stay back again on this place! I don't recommend it!

Very good location, but also proximal to noisy road and airport, could hear noises very clearly. Room had been updated at some time with tile, countertop, and paint in bathroom. Had a decent size fridge that kept things cold. Price was higher from what it usually is listed when I had looked at it a few months ago. Had to ask for towels after checking in. Couldn't open the shampoo packets. Soap was small, hard and had an off smell. No blanket, just sheet and thin top bedspread. No iron or ironing board. Off smell when in the bathroom. This was a no smoking room, but had a heavy scent of something else, maybe to make sure it did not smell of smoke? Mattress was hard. Pillows were hard and flat, asked for 1 additional pillow. No bucket for ice, had to fill up cup one at a time and run down to the ice maker every time.

No breakfast Although I paid for the stay in advance, they still required me to sign a credit slip for the same amount of money. After the first day, I was locked out of the room until I could get a new key in the office.

The first room key didn’t work, the water from the tap came out brown and the area seems kinda sketchy. But we needed a last minute stay on our way to CA and it was avliable. The room was decently clean and it was okay beds.

Room itself was better than expected. Bed was firm. AC blew cold. Overall property is dated in a commercial area close to the Silverton, but some distance away from other major attractions. A gas station is within walking distance for snacks and beverages, otherwise, plan on using a car to get around.

The rooms had everything you need to rest, good value The plumbing had rust or something, the water came out brown for the first few seconds, and the walls are very thin, you could hear everything from outside Other than that, good value

Only thing I didn't like was that they didn't leave an extra roll of toilet paper and the one that was left was not enough for my runny nose. Other then that it was nice for the price.

We booked this last minute & they only had smoking rooms available. It was horrible. Came back smelling like cigarette smoke on our bodies along with our belongings. Took a while to get the stench out. Also, there was a homeless man sleeping in his sleeping bag right in the parking lot where we parked but didn’t bother us. People were noisy. Next to a truck stop so there was that noise too. Would not recommend unless you have to.

TV not working although attendant did resolve issue, room phone didn't work so need to go to office from 3rd floor twice to resolve it, light over bathroom sink didn't work.

This hotel is about 5 miles from the strip. Easy to get an Uber or a Lyft. This is an older motel that has 3 floors and does not have an elevator. Everyone that works there are great. The Rusty Spur is a small bar attached to the office. Very friendly servers. The rooms are clean.

It was affordable, clean and what I expected. It’s in a mediocre location.

Clean but surrounding area had sirens, planes, traffic all night. Charged me an extra $25 for oversized vehicle parking when there was maybe 5-7 cars in the parking lot.

Absolutely the worst experience. Plastic on beds, burn holes in comforter and sheets from cigarettes, positive it was an hourly motel also as people coming and going at all hours, fighting in parking lot. Had my assistant book this last minute so my fault. Did not sleep at all.

For the price point it was comfortable. It is across from a truck stop, so a little noise, but easy access on and off highway. We were just happy to get a good room rate without resort fees, as all we needed was a bed and shower. I would stay again.

Beds were nice - maybe our only complaint were the pillows were a little flat and whomever was in the room above us seemed to make a lot of noise pacing in their room. All in all, this was a good stay and we would be happy to return again someday.

The manager was very accommodating. I was staying in a noisy place and hadn't had much sleep lately. He took the extra time to make sure that he put me in a room where he wasn't going to rent any other rooms near me. He also made sure the satellite TV was fixed right away. The only downfall was that the A/C was loud, despite wearing earplugs.

Management told me I could stay until 12pm , at 11:10 front desk rep knocked at my door demanding I leave room now , yelling at me hysterically , I'm very upset and hurt , I'm a US Navy disabled veteran , and I've never been treated like this ever , you need to remove this hotel from hotels.com

We booked two king bed rooms for 4 people for $135 each. When we arrived a the property, they told us that one of our rooms was canceled by Expedia, and that Expedia tried to call us multiple times that morning, but we didn't answer the phone. So now we needed a room with 2 double beds, and that ONE room costed $250. We did not trust what the person was saying and believe we were scammed.

The AC unit when turned on was super loud. It made a high pitch noise that gave me a head ache. The bathroom was very poorly lit, basically had to take a shower in the dark. The beds were rock hard and the bed frames would creak with every movement. There is no carpet in the rooms. There is little to no sound dampenig from the rooms above. It was very easy to tell when someone was moving around the room above me. I feel the price i paid at $280 for 1 night was robbery. I did not feel safe in the room, and between that and all the noise coming from other areas in the building, i did not sleep at all. If I could give zero stars i would. Do not stay here!

AC did not blow cold air. Was already in and settled and did not want to go change rooms so dealt with it. Good thing the weather was nice outside to cool it down at night.

For us, the location was good. It was clean. I liked the walk-in shower. I didn't like the noise of the people on the upstairs balcony and the cig. butts they threw on the parking lot.

The hotel is being remodeled. That's a good thing. Kudos to the property owner. There's a super chill bar on site...even better!!! Keep up the good work HIGHLAND INN.

I have never been treated so rudely by hotel staff. The hotel advertises free parking, and the parking lot was mostly empty, but the staff person at the desk charged me $25 to park my pickup truck and trailer. He called my room before I had finished unpacking to harass me about the trailer, and he was inflexible and rude. There were drunk people urinating in the dumpster enclosure in the parking lot. This was the worst motel experience I've had in a long time.

They had a sign at the front desk saying absolutely no guests in your room. This is when I realized they run hookers out of here. Never again. Good area bad motel. Only semi-clean, knobs missing damage to the room and gang writing on the luggage holder. Slept in my clothing. They’re only the minimal amount of required time to get use of a room I paid way too much for it because of the Raiders game in town

The facility itself was OK for the price. My first night, May 26, the reception person said that my reservation had been cancelled and that I would have to pay $30 more. For the second and third nights, May 29 and 30 the reception person charged me twice the tax, $15 more that quoted. So Highland Inn overcharged me $45 for the 3 nights stay.

Terrible location, seedy accommodations, parking lot full of criminal types. It was so gross and scary that I actually forfeited three days' payment and left before I got mugged in the parking lot, or got my car broken into. It's located next to a freeway, behind a truck stop, and on the airport flyway. There was evidence of past drug use in my room and cigarette holes burned in the blanket. I feel bad because the owners seem like really nice people, but this place is a freaking dive.

This was least expensive room on a very busy weekend in Las Vegas (2 big concerts), easy to access just 11 minutes south of Vegas. Rooms were clean, shower was hot and beds were comfortable.

Do not stay here. The smallest problem of all is how crazy loud and noisy it is. The biggest is that the sheets are some sort of waterproof plastic. After 5 hours at this property we left. Horrible.

Around 1:30-2 am I was sleep with my bf and kids. I couldn’t sleep well because it was windy and it was shaking the whole building already. Around that time, a man literally walked into my hotel room because the woman working the front desk gave him keys with access to where I was staying. Which was very frightening.

The owner is the rudest person I've ever met. Her husband charged me less for my room so she knocks on the door to let us know we owe more money we say okay no problem and try to close the door. Regardless of what has been said in the negative reviews, I found the place to be clean and comfortable. Floors are wood (or fake wood), which I prefer for cleanliness. Although you can hear you upstairs neighbor, which I will gladly sacrifice for cleanliness. Check in was fast and easy. No issues to report.

Regardless of what has been said in the negative reviews, I found the place to be clean and comfortable. Floors are wood (or fake wood), which I prefer for cleanliness. Although you can hear you upstairs neighbor, which I will gladly sacrifice for cleanliness. Check in was fast and easy. No issues to report.

Dislike: no coffee makers, only 2 towels, no plug for tub to take a bath, was not made aware a cash deposit was needed, no black out curtain so lights shown in room all night

It was clean and the room was comfortable. It wasn’t a 5 star by any means, but it’s in a good location and the staff was great.

When I first got there my key didn’t work and I didn’t figure that out until I walked 3 flights of stairs with my luggage. The WiFi did not work and I did not get any assistance. I was only told to wait but because I was working I couldn’t wait. I had to check out early. The heat didn’t work. The phone worked at first but eventually stopped working like everything else. It was a terrible stay. The area on the other hand is wonderful plenty of dining and shopping.

Hotel manager was rude asked for a non- smoking room. And she was giving me a smoking room. The room we stayed she had to go open because I locks and there’s no guest key for it, someone had to stay inside so we could get back in. Terrible place

fire sprinklerr .No t -paper, at all, no towels , only a hand towel, 2wash cloths and a bath mat. Went to call front desk . Phone was broken couldn't get it to work. King bed is a full &twin pushed together. Did I mention ,I was only there to shower and use bathroom. Mine was under construction....I didn't want to climb 3flights dwn and up again. I decided to use toilet , had own antibacterial wipes. Thank goodness. There was a paper seal on lid with a pubic hair on it Had to wipe all surfaces switches, door handles disgusting. Is that wine or blood splashed on ceiling? Opened desk drawer bug poo in it .I was so mad I was ready to cry. The stairs couldn't be touched . Old liquid drips and smeg on banisters . I left after paying $90.i went to a bathroom at a gas station and took a sponge bath . I will be returning to take photos and let management know of these issues. It said 2 rooms left. Whole 3rd floor and alot on 2nd empty

Did not look like the pictures. The trash from the previous guest was still in the room. There was trash everywhere outside. The room AC was off when, so it took a couple hours to bring the temp down. I almost thought about demanding my money back and staying somewhere else.

Slept well with no issues.
