Reviews
The Golden Nugget Hotel receives mixed reviews, with guests appreciating the pool, location, and friendly staff. However, there are consistent complaints about cleanliness, maintenance issues, and poor customer service in certain instances.
- Great pool area, especially for kids
- Excellent location, particularly for those interested in Fremont Street
- Cleanliness and maintenance issues in rooms
- Inconsistent customer service, with some guests experiencing poor treatment
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 2/5
Was charged a resort fee when the pool slide is closed . Honestly it was the only reason I stayed there do to my kids
- 1/5
Just really upset that you come and said this hotel for the pool and the Shark Tank is gone and they answer that you get from everybody it’s just ridiculous
- 5/5
Nice place. Will stay again
- 5/5
I only have one recommendation. For your elderly patrons, it would be nice to have a few benches in the LONG hallways.
- 5/5
Clean hotel and friendly staff
- 5/5
Even though the slide was closed at the pool, I enjoyed my stay. So close to all the good stuff.
- 5/5
Clean room and pool was clean as well.
- 5/5
I loved the outdoor pool. Room was clean when we arrived.
- 5/5
Everything was great and convenient for our party we were attending. The staff was very helpful.
- 3/5
I updated my room was supposed to be a Fremont street view was not a Fremont Street view. It was the top of a roof. Front desk clerk wasn’t really friendly.. I missed a day at my hotel due to my plane being canceled so we sent a email trying to get some of my money back for that night and they wouldn’t even respond. Rooms are very dated and could use a little update.

.
- 5/5
Helpful and responsive
- 5/5
Cleanliness was on point. Thank you
- 3/5
Needs more help for check in for those who didn't use electronics can only check in by kosiko and if you have problems only one staff member to help so long wait. Had to upgrade room next day and they not only charged me for the room upgrade which is fine as we are upgrading but charged me again for the resort fee which I had already pd. I will not be staying there again. The restaurants, pools and casino though we're really nice
- 5/5
Friendly staff and helpful.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed golden nugget and especially the pool!
- 3/5
Booked a "luxury double queen" room, paid for early check in only to be met with a sauna of a room with 2 full size beds instead. Called down to get a roll away bed but learned that was not an option anymore. Thought we would just deal with it, turned the ac down and went out thinking it just needed to cool down. Even after the maintenance guy cleaned the filters, it didn't fully cool down. It took until 4:00 the next day to get a new room. Plus the shark slide was under maintenance. After 6 stays at the GN, I think this will be my last trip. The room rate you see is l ends up being double by the end and there's nothing luxury about the rooms. The staff were friendly at least.
- 5/5
We stayed in the rush tower. We upgraded our room for a little more money and it was definitely worth it. There were 2 tvs but one didn’t work. The last day of our stay we didn’t get our towels and washcloths replaced so we didn’t have any clean washcloths the last day. Overall I had a great time and will stay again.
- 5/5
The breakfast at the Claimjumper was excellent!
- 5/5
Overall I like the facility. Everything was within in walking distance as far as Fremont street. Will be coming again
- 5/5
Everything 👍
- 5/5
Todo
- 3/5
Room was cleaned some days and not others. Even when cleaned soap was still empty and bed barely made. Love this place but that was disappointing. Everything is kiosk and text now so personal touch is lost which was disappointing. We will come back but what was our go to resort may now compete with others.
- 5/5
Love staying at the Golden Nu
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 3/5
Whole reason i booked was for the shark tank but of course it was empty
- 5/5
Great rooms
- 5/5
All was good. I had a nice experience.
- 2/5
The check in and out was easy. The building and rooms pretty used and run down, no refrigerator or microwave. Aquarium was being repaired so that was disappointing since that was a big part of why we chose GN. The upstairs adult pool did not have any music. You could bring your own speaker, but had to keep the music volume low. So kinda anticlimactic. The Mexican restaurant was very good and service 10 out of 10.
- 3/5
The room was outdated and a little stale. Keep in mind you have to uber back to the strip for everything so while the price of the room was cheap, the cost in ubering around everywhere made up for it.
- 4/5
Had a good time and room was clean.
- 2/5
We had a reservation for 3 guests thru Expedia where hotel picked the room. When we got there, the room assigned had only A kingsize bed for 2 women and a man. The first desk staff wanted to charge us an upgrade of about 150$ to have the 2 double beds rather than the king assigned. Luckily a second desk person corrected our room assignment providing us the 2 double beds rather than the king they gave us
- 4/5
The slide at the pool was shut down
- 3/5
Body wash and hair conditioner containers were empty. Floor was dirty. Had Pennies on the floor from previous guest
- 5/5
We stayed in the Rush Tower corner suite and it was amazing!! Love Fremont Street. We will definitely stay here again. Great food choice and gaming too
- 3/5
Having to do self check in on machine with really no one to help was a headache and no sharks in the tank was a big disappointment since that’s the reason we booked.
- 3/5
Our room had a view of a wall and was rundown. Needs upgrading.
- 5/5
Checking in was a cluster. No help. Wasn’t broken should have left it alone. Terrible check in.
- 5/5
Great atmosphere, enjoyed the people, casino pays well enough to keep you in the game. Overall great experience.
- 5/5
Great hotel and the pool was awesome! In the heart of Fremont.
- 5/5
room.service 24 hrs
- 3/5
The pool's aquarium was drained. Even though that's why we booked the place, no compensation was applied. Overall not the best quality
- 5/5
Our stay was fantastic!
- 5/5
Great stay. Will book again!
- 3/5
I booked a stay there so my kids could swim in the aquarium. There was nothing telling us it was closed. So we were very disappointed
- 4/5
The only issue i had was the air conditioner went out on morning of day 2 of my stay and I reported it to cleaning staff I was advised a work order would be put in but the air still was working when I cam back to the room at 2am.
- 3/5
I will never go through Expedia AGAIN. I paid Expedia and the Golden Nugget. I need someone to contact me, Michael Graham something went terribly wrong. I used an acredited card, but when l arrived at the Golden NUGGET, SHANISE STATED MY CARD WAS DECLINED
- 5/5
pool was undergoing service maintenance but overall great time
- 5/5
Housekeeper was amazing
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
The only issue we had was the bathtub had a slow drain. We called housekeeping they sent maintenance to try to clear. Maintenance said cleared what could, however was still slow. The front desk contacted me to advise ee can change rooms. We did change ( just Hassel of packing everything and noving).
- 3/5
Did not know the shark tank / pool area was down. We brought friends and stayed here specifically for that feature.
- 4/5
Good location and on site dining. Only negative was the bathroom tub was a bit rusted and the bottom painted, needs replacement
- 5/5
The Golden Nugget is a classic. Although it’s super busy ,staff are always helpful assisting. The room at the Rush tower was beautiful. I don’t understand the bad reviews. Room assistant cleaned our room daily. Pool was packed but great. The hideout pool was super fun. Shout out to Sophie. I would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
All of it!!
- 5/5
It’s been my second time back at the Golden Nugget and it’s going to be one of the best hotels to go to. Although it’s further away from the strip, there’s still many things very close by such as the Fremont Street. Many restaurants 24 hours. The staff were amazing and corrected the room for us without any issues. Loved everything about this hotel and such a great hotel for a good price!
- 5/5
The Gold Nugget was fabulous. It was clean and provided excellent security. All the employees I met were courteous and helpful. One woman told me how much she enjoyed working there and even did a little dance !
- 2/5
I’m all for fun and having a good time , but it was getting ridiculous when you can’t even hear your television in the room much less any sleep at all.
- 5/5
This hotel has everything you need. Great location, amenities, room was clean, staff was helpful. So much nicer than staying on the strip! Will be back!
- 4/5
We go there because of the pool with the shark Tank but it was down for repairs .. no Sharks
- 1/5
First off, I came to realize the second day of my stay that my hotel room lock was not working. Literally, the door would close and just anyone could have pushed it open. A friend housekeeper helped me and called Maintenace for me. He checked on things and stated I needed to switch rooms. Good thing nothing was taken or my life was endangered. My room was switched next door. I thought at lease we would have been upgraded for the inconvenience. Because of this my husband missed televised betting at that same time. Also, why does the pool open at 9am? I feel it should open earlier for early birds. Would have been nice to drink coffee in the not so hot sun before the calm before the storm.
- 4/5
The property was nicer in person than the pictures.
- 5/5
Very well maintained property with great amenities and casino. I enjoyed our Carson Tower Room. The location was everything!
- 3/5
Normally I absolutely love everything about this hotel. Our kiosk check-in didn't work, not even with a representative's assistance and he had to take us to the counter and manually complete it himself. The check-in area was mobbed and pretty crazy. This time, my room had a bunch of feces and toilet paper in the toilet that had been there for a while. When I flushed the toilet, it broke it all up and swirled around and made the entire room smell of the waste. It was absolutely disgusting. So naturally, at this point, I wondered just how much of my room was cleaned prior to my arrival since the toilet obviously wasn't. Last, our bathroom sink was plugged with standing water every time we used it. We attempted to call about the toilet and sink, but nobody answered the phone. I thought about looking to speak with someone in person, but when you check in at 5:30pm and you only have an evening to enjoy Vegas, you don't spend it dealing with a room situation.
- 3/5
Our first time staying at this hotel, it’s a pretty large hotel and has multiple entrances so be aware that unfortunately the vehicle navigation does not send you to the correct entrance when you want to valet park. The checkin area was very clean and well maintained, most checkin is done through a kiosk which isn’t very personal and isn’t a great start, our room was on the 20th floor and was older than I expected for a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel, the room was spacious but had no microwave, refrigerator or coffee station. The bed was very soft to the point it was similar to a water bed, the shower had great water pressure unfortunately the toilet was very low. The biggest issue was the noise from the AC unit, it was pretty loud and made it necessary to up the volume of the tv just so we could hear what we were watching. The valet staff, porters and doorman where very polite and helpful with directions and where always cheerful when leaving or returning to the hotel.
- 1/5
Security Named Adrian, rude all security rude and the bartenders were very slow! Will not be going back to that hotel.
- 5/5
Fun pool
- 1/5
The whole hotel is unkept, mold in the bathroom, fingerprints on everything. The walls are plastered with gunk, makeup and marks
- 4/5
It was a good stay. Great location.
- 5/5
They have a self check in, which was somewhat convenient at first, but then it gets wonky. Had to call the front desk because I couldn't find my room number after it showed initially at the screen
- 4/5
great place
- 5/5
We like staying at the Golden Nugget. The rooms are easy to find. Plus rooms are very clean, beds comfortable and I like that you have to use your room card to operate the elevator. Also, so easy to get from casino to casino.
- 5/5
I like the property had a thermostat for the air conditioner and the room was clean
- 5/5
A little bit older but very nice
- 3/5
Some rooms are outdated, but functional. Do not expect any extras like a fridge or microwave. However, I was told I can request a fridge from the front desk. Good luck at self-parking, as finding a parking space might require circling around a few times within the structure. Finally, be prepared to self-check into ur hotel room which might be somewhat challenging even though you already previously checked-in online. Overall, the casino is conventiently located right on the Fremont strip across Circa.
- 3/5
Checking into the hotel was with kiosk only, no option to have a human.
- 5/5
Didn’t get my deposit back
- 5/5
Good stay!
- 5/5
Very clean room, excellent staff, great outdoor pool
- 3/5
Expected a lot more , check in was terrible and took to long , check kiosk was a disaster , waited in line to use kiosk then was told to go over to check in desk and got out at the end of the line , over an hour to get our 2 rooms.
- 5/5
I'm happy with booking.com The only thing I haven't gotten a receipt for my stay. I will need it for my records.
- 3.5/5

- 4/5
Very good
- 0.5/5
No Dirty and bad customer service
- 4/5
Fun location downtown near Freemont Street pedestrian plaza and fun off strip restaurants.
- 1/5
No room service night one Night two we came back to our room fresh towels no be made and our room smelling like weed hardcore. Night three good luck sleeping with all the drunks after 2am and the staff wasn’t helpful at all. Ac was spotty. No mini fridge in ROK. So good luck keeping anything gold.
- 5/5
Great time here at the golden nugget hotel !!!
- 3/5
Went with my in-laws and after confirming that both rooms would be adjoining and handicapped accessible rooms. When we checked in frontdesk states there are no notes or were not aware of the accommodations. Paid to have both room serviced and only 1 was. Not our first time there and usually the service is great. But now we gotta rethink if next time we are in las vegas if golden nugget is even considered.
- 5/5
Had a great stay. Great pool with plenty of sun and shade when you need it. Friendly staff through.
- 5/5
Clean, solid resort. Always a fun place to stay. Comfy beds. Quiet rooms.
- 5/5
I loved my room but it didn't have any body wash it was totally empty
- 4/5
Property was very nice. Could hear a little street noise but overall not a problem.
- 4/5
All hotels need to clean the tub/shower drain and the sink drain after each guests use!
- 5/5
Fremont Street
- 5/5
Very nice hotel surrounding Fremont Street for sightseeing and staying
- 2/5
Did not have body wash on bathroom and bathtub was clogged
- 5/5
The staff was incredible the room was alway clean didn’t feel like the old strip felt like the new strip type of room vibe. Will definitely be coming back 10/10
- 2/5
I booked two queen beds and coffee maker in my room, only offered King bed with no coffee maker. I had to upgrade my room by $50.00 per night and only had a king bed available
- 5/5
It was are first time staying here we had a good time. Definitely will be back.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Perfect place. Close to everything you need. Awesome restaurants

- 5/5
Love the convenience of being in the middle of Fremont Street. The pool is large and nice... Bonus, they also have an adult only pool! We rented a Cabana for the day and had excellent service! Thank you, Alex! Food is good too. The Cabana and public spaces at adult only pool could have been a little cleaner. Not bad but could have been better.. maybe time for some new cushions and a refresher? We didn't like the solicitation at the bottom of our elevators at the Carson Tower. Once in awhile, okay but got a little old!
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 5/5
Pool rules not enforced equally. My children were not allowed in jacuzzi because under 16 years old but other children of equal or similar age were told nothing.
- 5/5
Drinks to expensive pool needs to be fixed
- 4/5
First time visiting Fremont st and staying at GN. Staff were great. Entertainment was great. Food was great. Excellent experience overall
- 4/5
Just don’t fall for the time share people. Those guys are extremely high pressure sales. Pool is fantastic. Room is a bit dated but still comfortable
- 2/5
Very disappointing in every way.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our time at the hotel resort. We wish we had more time to go in the pool. It looked amazing.
- 5/5
Enjoyed everything my favorite place from thank you so much!!
- 4/5
It’s centrally located, has a comprehensive casino, fine for a short stay. My room was dated and a bit dark BUT very very clean, the bed was super comfy, had lots of free water bottles in the room, lots of towels. I stayed one night and it was fine. Pool was ok for me, beds are close together, and in early May was in full sun from 12:00, there is very little shade. I looked at the upstairs adults area but no shade and I think you had to pay. Either way too hot for me. Excellent diner about 5’ walk away - Ameribrunch. For the price I’d probably stay again for 1 night. My one issue was the water did not drain away in the shower very quickly at all, had I stayed >1 night I would have spoke to the hotel.
- 0.5/5
Mean staff Dirty smelly rooms
- 4.5/5
Still haven’t got my deposit back Didn’t get my deposit back
- 4.5/5
Decor / great lighting/ very classy First contact at front desk never gave eye contact. Gave us the key to our room. Wasn’t friendly.
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. No breakfast, but the pool area was also clean and relaxing.
- 5/5
Wonderful room. Large and well stocked.
- 1/5
The aquarium was closed. This is the reason and the pool slide. They should’ve told us when we checked in for it is the reason why we even went to this hotel they did their best to hide the fact that the amenities were closed and would not be open till next summer. This was a horrible the most horrible experience I’ve ever had at this hotel.
- 3/5
When checking in we were pressured to upgrade our room to be guaranteed a king size bed. This doubled the cost of the hotel but as a married couple on vacation we felt we didnt have a choice if we wanted a king size bed versus two full size beds. I wish I had paid better attention when booking the trip.
- 2/5
We chose this hotel for “The Tank” experience. We weren’t notified that the aquarium and slide would be closed during our stay. Very disappointing
- 5/5
The pool was very clean and organized.
- 1/5
Property was very disappointing this second time around coming to the golden nugget this time, I decided to take my kids so they could experience the pool and the sharks. But this time around the tank was completely empty, no fishes were seen, and it took away the whole experience of taking my kids over and experiencing swimming. With fishes. I wish I can do it again. But once the fish tank is repaired and all the fishes are back in their tank. Nothing about this issue was mentioned online when I booked the hotel room, which causes me to believe they don't want to say that. So people don't stop going over.
- 4/5
Impressive pool!
- 3/5
This is the second time I've been here and the pool is always an issue. The fish tank always seems to be under repair and the women's bathroom is a death trap. It's wet and this year my friend fell and broke here wrist. We are still waiting for someone to contact her so she can file a claim. The different fees for early check in or check out, facility fees are crazy.
- 5/5
Great location n safe
- 2/5
Typical old Fremont Street hotel. Absolutely nothing special. Staff is average at best. There are several way better options in my opinion.
- 4/5
Room was average I was there for Fremont Street
- 2/5
Staff was rude, the slide was closed, no fridge in our room, I wish we stayed somewhere else
- 2/5
Pool area is nice but they need to offer some shade options Air quality in the casino area was horrible. I have stayed here on several occasions and it was never as bad as our last stay. It is a major reason why we will not stay again.
- 4.5/5
Right on Fremont Street The Shark Tank was EMPTY???
- 2/5
Shark tank was closed
- 2/5
I was traveling with children, and they were very excited about those attractions. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment for us, as the hotel did not meet the expectations created by its pictures and description. In addition, I was charged a $51 resort fee per room. Had I known that the aquarium was empty and that some of the advertised amenities were not available, I would not have chosen to book this hotel. I believe guests should be informed of these issues before making a reservation.
- 3/5
Pool was nice 9am then extremely populated by 11am. Great location would recommend this hotel for stay to Vegas!
- 4/5
I love staying at this hotel when in Vegas, I was disappointed that the sharks aren’t there right now. I don’t know if it’s temporary or permanent but that is always my favorite part of staying here.
- 4/5
Are room had couple problems. The sheets were rip trash behind the tv and the tub flooded during a shower. Other then that the rest of the stay was perfect
- 1/5
Just beware that for the summer 2026 the Shark Tank and the slide are closed. The hotel does not advertise it nor do they give you a discount. If you’re planning on going with kids, don’t tell him about the Shark Tank and they won’t know. The slide is shut down because it goes to the Shark Tank.
- 4/5
Very clean room , and the best part it’s the mattress very comfortable

Really enjoyed the 21+ pool (The Hideout). Hotel was kept up well, many food options available and very helpful, friendly staff at check in and was able to get late check out, at a reasonable price.
- 4/5
This was great and in the perfect location. I was disappointed in our specific room but we did bring a dog and they probably don't want to take any chances of accidents or problems in the nicer locations. We were located right above a roof with huge lights that shined up the building. That being said, the black out curtain worked well. We got back to the room around midnight and I went to shower and the shower/tub did not work. No water at all!!! I have no idea why, didn't want maintenance to come at that point and was too tired to consider a room change so we did not contact management. We did note it in our exit survey and hope they fix it for future guests. Other than that, a great one night stop. I just wouldn't want that room again.

Had the best time!! Definitely will stay here again!

Rooms were dirty
- 1/5
What a rip off ! Cancelled the room they still charged! Guess the house always wins ! Poor business.
- 5/5
Clean and love the Fremont Street access
- 1/5
They have a leak in the tank . There was no aquarium nor slide for my kids to slide in the pool. And pool was overly crowded. Bathtub inside my room was cracked porcelain... Room was standard and bed was comfortable but that was the only plus about it (A comfortable bed) Wasn't worth the money I paid out for it .
- 5/5
Everything was great. We were a little sad that the pool slide and shark tank at the pool were closed.
- 1/5
Kiosk check-in, double charging of resort fees using Expedia.
- 5/5
The Nugget is our go to when we come to Vegas. Easy to get anywhere and it's nice to be close to our room in the evenings on Fremont
- 5/5
No sharks in the Tank
- 3/5
Ok
- 2/5
Jacuzzi tub doesn’t work in the parlor suite
- 4/5
The hotel itself was good, as well as the staff. The only problem was the noise from the street below. It never stops, and there was a church that range its bells every half hour, day and night.
- 3/5
The hotel on the side I stayed on was the Carson Tower was a little outdated, had plumbing issues in my room, but overall, if you stay in another tower, I think it would be better than newer tower.
- 1/5
Hotel check in was a nightmare, lobby staff were rude and unprofessional. Went to Las Vegas for a 21st birthday party with 12 people everywhere we went we were met with great hospitality, everywhere but the Golden Nugget we will never stay here again!
- 5/5
Was nice
- 5/5
I love everything about the hotel...

In room was dirty and intercom not work if need anything need to go front desk I never stay again this hotel
- 4/5
Thanks For The Stay! I Wish I Won More 😇

.
- 4/5
Golden Nugget is a blast! Perfect location to enjoy Freemont Street. Fun, low stress, old school, not super fancy and annoying like the strip hotels. If you drive, the self parking is $53 so be prepared for that sticker shock.
- 5/5
Better than I imagined the pool area was great, there are no fish in the tank but that didn’t matter waterfall and Dj was great plus drinks very good.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
And it’s placed in the old city where you see a lot of homeless on the street But Very secure Entertainment is nice
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was good. Only 1 complaint, I upgraded my room due extra amenities. One being a Keurig coffee maker and none was in the room. They were unable to provide it. I paid a nice upgrade fee basically for not what I wanted .
- 5/5
It was nice staying
- 4/5
No sharks in tank for pool. Very fast check in even though a long line but disappointed they did not put my 2 rooms together
- 5/5
Golden Nugget was a good surprise I thought because the price was so cheap that the room wasn’t gonna be nice but the room was nice. The casino was nice. I enjoyed my day very much.
- 5/5
Nice hotel right outside the Fremont street experience! Nice place if you don’t want to drive all over. Buses and trams help get you to most places you want to see.
- 3/5
Great Streak house on property and plenty of games . Not really suitable for kids.
- 3/5
It says 4 stars but I think it’s about two + it is not clean
- 5/5
One of the best hotels and casinos I stayed in Vegas. 5 Star rating
- 5/5
Staff, friendly and understanding I had a special situation and they were very accommodating. The bell kept my luggage in between checking in and arrival.
- 2/5
Checked in at 4:30 my kids tried to go in the pool well it closes at 5:00 for under 21 . Slide was,not working and the tank was empty. Not good at all . But then again they charge you all those amenities fees
- 2/5
Stayed for the shark tank and waterslide in pool area , the waterslide was broke or unusable and shark tank was empty , if I knew this I would not have booked it , not a great experience
- 4/5
On the downside, the rooms felt fairly basic and could use some updating compared to other properties in Las Vegas. The pool area was extremely crowded during my stay, making it difficult to find seating or fully enjoy the amenities. Overall, the hotel was clean and the customer service was great, but the crowded pool and average rooms kept the experience from being exceptional.
- 5/5
I like the place
- 5/5
Convinces to Fremont street The tank is what drew me to the property but each time I booked the tank was empty

Excellent price and good location for Fremont activities. Excellent restaurant and good location
- 4/5
Very hard to accumulate players points, sat on a 25.00 black jack table for a few hours, barley received 100 points, in the meantime I placed a few bets on BetMGM and they will comp me 4 nights in September when we go back for the Eagles concert
- 1/5
The pool was nice, but the water slide was broke down. We were not told about this at all until we got to the pool. We upgraded our room which we had a completely different bill for. The resort fees are insane. Also our upgraded room has a hole in the wall and black mold in the shower. A friend of ours had a regular room which was nicer than the upgrade. For the price we ended up with we could have stayed on the strip.
- 4/5
The pool was amazing...The upstairs pool for adults only not so good..disappointed with 40.00 charge for lounge chairs
- 5/5
Clean room excellent staff friendly pool was great .. I will definitely come again
- 2/5
The parking situation was ridiculous. People who are not paying guests have the option to pay $50 to park in the structure so it was full for people who actually paid thousands of dollars to stay there & had to find other parking and be inconvenienced to get it vouched. Also, was never given a print out or email of room charges, so I called and was told they would send via email and confirmed my email address but still haven't received it.
- 3/5
The pool is only open 10am-6pm. That doesn't allow much use if you can't check in until 4pm and check out is 11am. The slide was closed. The shark tank in pool is closed/empty which we were really excited about seeing. There is no breakfast included with room. The staff were very friendly and helpful when needed.

- 4.5/5
Toilet paper quality poor
- 4/5
The main reason we chose to stay there was for the pool and the waterslide through the aquarium which we found out after we checked in that the slide wasn't open and the aquarium had been drained .
- 5/5
The stay was perfect. I didn't know there was no fridge in my room but you can up grade to anything for a few bucks more. Didn't really need one because i could ice my drinks with the bucket. Location was good and close to all my favorite eats and games in the casino. Being connected to the chaos at the Fremont was awesome as well.
- 5/5
Perfect for the Fremont experience, pool area was clean. Relaxed by pool all day enjoyed Fremont in the evening.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect...
- 5/5
Overall staff shortage seems to be an issue. Not every guest is aware of the kiosks to check in and out. It would be helpful if resort would email guest and notify us.
- 5/5
Excellent clean room
- 1/5
The security sucks. This was our first time staying here and never will we again! This poor old lady was being robbed by a homeless man inside of the casino and not one security guard helped her! They didn't care at all. My mind was blown away by that. I will never stay or recommend this shot hole hotel.

The property itself was clean I didn’t like the room as far as the window position.
- 1.5/5
The property location was great The check-in process was very difficult and time-consuming The bedroom was dirty. There was stains on the sheets. There was hair in the shower.

Nice place to stay Booked the place because of the pool tank and slide but the was not even open and the fish tank was empty
- 4/5
Convenient Fremont Street location. Free parking. Rooms were large & clean. I liked the security of the elevators requiring keys. Lots of restaurants on property. Showers were hot & powerful. Dinner at Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse was awesome! The check-in/check-out is done on a kiosk which is NOT faster when people can't figure out how to use them. Beds/pillows were too soft. Lots of noise was easily heard from the street below even though we were on the 10th floor. Not a lot of available spaces in the parking lot especially around check-in time. Many of the restaurants on the property were closed the entire time we were there.

Pool does not open until the last week of February. Do not even book it before then website steered me in the wrong direction. I booked it for my birthday, thinking we were gonna be able to use the aquarium pool and we were not able to. And I bought six others with me.
- 4/5
Pool was closed 🙁

Our bathroom was pretty dirty but aside from that it was nice.

Great hotel, best location
- 2/5
We paid way over the value due to BTS being in town. For what we paid you would think there would be a microwave and a mini fridge in the room but nope. It was an okay stay, quiet rooms but not worth what we paid but hey it is what it is.
- 4/5
I booked a staycation for my adult daughter and niece as a college graduation celebration. I had brought them to Golden Nugget years ago and we had so much fun in the shark tank/water slide pool. They no longer have that feature- I wish that was more clear when I booked. I probably would have still chosen Golden Nugget- overall they had a wonderful time!
- 3/5
On our very last day we were trying to go downstairs for our last night to enjoy the night when we came back to her room after being gone all day long we had a sewer backup from The neighbors we ended up having to stay in waiting for maintenance to get there as he worked on the toilet for about an hour or so he then gets a call stating that oh the neighbors had clogged up there toilet earlier in the day and that they were going to have to move us rooms I didn't get to enjoy my last night there at the hotel instead I had to move my stuff to another room to be up early to be at the airport very disappointing other than that to stay the pool the staff was great I just felt like I got short trained One night in Vegas
- 3/5
Parking was a nightmare we had to pay for valet because the garage was full
- 5/5
Solid rooms
- 4/5
The room is clean. The Shark Tank was not available. Beds are very small.
- 3/5
I don't think it's fair as a customer that is paying for the rooms to have to go somewhere else looking for parking because the hotel opens it to the public. We are a couple with back and leg issues to walk long distances. This was a huge discouragement in staying there again.
- 5/5
Great location, good services, nice pool
- 4/5
Other than that, property was great, valet service was excellent. Pool area was okay - the big feature for it was closed off for the 2026 season; but was still able to be used. Restaurants were okay - only a third were open at any given time, but that’s how it goes I guess. One final thing - the Golden Nugget is adjacent to the Fremont - and as such was very convenient for things that we wanted to do; my wife wanted to do the zip line, was able to hear multiple musical acts literally 30 paces out of our hotel. If you’re not into that, keep that in mind.
- 3/5
Charged twice for resort fees
- 5/5
I came here to see the sharks at the pool but over had fun
- 5/5
There was no Tank
- 3/5
Parking resort fee was too much
- 5/5
Amazing hotel we had a great time.
- 5/5
It was a very pleasant stay thank you
- 5/5
Muy buen servicio
- 3/5
Our room was very dirty. The shark tank and water slide were closed. Which are two amenities we were looking forward to.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly, from the valet to front desk to the bellman were very polite and informative. The bathrooms were very clean and the entirety of the hotel. Our room was clean. Our favorite was the Ice Bar, Jennifer is an amazing bartender! Makes amazing drinks and very friendly.
- 5/5
Good I like , clean everything
- 4/5
It was nice. I have not stayed here in many years. The casino and restaurants were well kept. The rooms need updating. Some bathrooms had rust.
- 3/5
Prevent you from using the facilities.
- 5/5
The only hotel on Fremont I’ve stayed at where you can’t hear the Fremont crowd. Amazing sleep and comfy and clean room
- 5/5
Just beautiful
- 5/5
Loved staying there
- 5/5
Well main
- 3/5
Hotel has potential to be a lot of fun. Pool is currently under construction due to a crack in the foundation so the tank is drained. Point of the hotel visit was for the pool, would have appreciated more transparency on what was open and not. Service is non existent. Room was pretty cool and clean. Food was decent.
- 4/5
It was great. Service was too. The only thing I didn't like was that most of the restaurants inside the Golden Nugget were closed. Which left you with an option of Chick-fil-A and a little store that charges you an arm leg for anything. We got a box of crackers (just one sleeve) two pints of ice cream and 2 Lunchables. It was $47. What my husband doesn't like was parking garage for Golden Nugget we were there three nights two nights we had to go park someplace else. I know they can't control the guests but I don't know if it wasll all gyests of Holden Nugget. in there but it was still kind of a drag. Sometimes the reek of Las Vegas seeps into the hotel but I'm assuming that's everywhere. We had privacy out on our door all three days, and the second evening that security come up and make sure we were okay! I thought that was awesome. Like no we just don't need clean house cleaning we're fine! Bonus points for that. All in all it's a beautiful place it's not brand spanking new, but it's really pretty. We actually broke even so that was nice. Plus it's so close to Fremont street, which is why we went there. We stayed at the plaza last time, but thought we would try a different Hotel. I'd stay there again.
- 4/5
Really nice place to stay! We would stay here again! The pool is nice and I was surprised to see there is a hot tub. It was great to have restaurants right on site so we didn’t have to go far for food.
- 1/5
It was so loud. We upgraded for a nicer room and could not sleep. They would not move our room. It was a very expensive room to not get good rest in.
- 2/5
So during my whole trip, I had to keep going up and down to the front desk first of all my reservation couldn’t be found after waiting in a long line to check in. They sent me to another line. Finally found my reservation once I got to my room it smelled like someone just smoked a fresh pack of cigarettes. So I had to go downstairs waiting in line again the service they were really nice about it, and switched my room. I then got to the new room and there was no fridge which was fine but in trying to call the phone didn’t work so there I went once again downstairs waited in line and they said someone will come up I waited about two hours in the room. Nobody came up. Then parking is horrible. The self parking kept texting me and trying to charge me when I register the car at the front desk so when I asked the people in the parking structure, they said for me to go back in line and wait in the front desk again and ask them so they’re going again back in line. This is already the fourth time and had to get my ticket valid, which they did it, but it was just a lot of inconvenience and then the last night we couldn’t park in valet or in the self parking garage the self parking garage was completely full and they were still letting people go in at like one in the morning and when we came down and told the lady, she just gave us a paper and said to park up the street at the Sister parking garage, which would’ve been nice for them to tell us at the beginning because we had a 3 AM flig
- 5/5
Easy & diverse food options nearby. Access to everything Vegas was easy.
- 5/5
Great stay but unfortunately no waterslide through the shark tank available for this stay
- 3/5
Location was great but staff were obnoxious about trying to sell tickets to shows/events stopping us constantly as we walked through the hotel. Our bathroom sink was clogged upon arrival and our carpet was wet and never really dried the 3 days we were there. Overall disappointing when there are so many options to choose from.
- 5/5
Great experience for my 1st time staying at a hotel
- 4/5
Needs more parking. The rental takes up to much space. And to many hotel guest not enough space for parking. Spend a hour in the parking garage just to find parking. Would like to recommend building more parking garages.

We came for the pool, shark tank and slide and the shark tank was pretty much empty and the slide was shut down because of maintenance. Not sure when everything will be fully operational again, since nobody could tell us.
- 5/5
It was EDC weekend and I wanted a hotel close to my shuttle pickup. The Nugget was reasonably priced and only 5 mins away. Check in was on a kiosk but if you needed assistance someone was behind the desk. My room was in the Carson tower. It was huge compared to Vegas standards and haf a vanity table perfect for doing my makeup. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was easily controlled by the thermostat. The only thing that showed its age was the bathroom as there were some areas of rust in the bathtub. Besides that the water pressure was great. They have great food choices in the hotel and a 24hr store inside. One of the exits opens up right out into the Freemont street experience so its perfect. I loved my stay and will be back.
- 4/5
Great place to rest for th night along with great entertainment!
- 5/5
Excellent vacation - room upgraded, fantastic cabana at the hideout pool with very attentive staff and a much needed massage. Accommodated a late check out request and kept our bags since our flight was scheduled for much later than our check out

We enjoyed our stay and hotel was well maintained. Also great food options.
- 4.5/5

- 2/5
Disappointing
- 4/5
Room wa clean but lights flickered in the room. There was also no mini fridge in the room so there was nowhere to store food or snacks. The aquarium by the pool was also missing a massive amount of water so you could barely see the fish. Staff was friendly and the location was nice at Fremont street but that’s about all of the positives of this place.
- 2/5
I honestly didn’t enjoy my stay at all. From the moment I walked in I could tell how filthy the place was. Spit, toothpaste and boogers were left in the sink by the previous guest. The shower didn’t work… turning it hot or cold didn’t do anything and the only way to get hot water was to turn it the opposite direction of where the labels H and C were and the water would come out scalding hot. The carpet in the room feels like it hasn’t been cleaned in ages, it was sticky, and crusty. The bed was very comfortable but who knows when the last time that was cleaned. They also charge a hidden 50 dollar a night resort fee on top of your initial payment. You pay for parking. It it’s in a public parking lot so there won’t be any parking ever
- 5/5
Always a great time at the Golden Nugget.
- 5/5
We loved our stay here! Pool was great, staff was awesome and so friendly. Only thing is we wouldn’t recommend Fremont street if you have young kiddos, it’s right out of the hotel. But our stay at the golden nugget was awesome thank you :)
- 5/5
Check in was seamless.
- 2/5
We pay extra to stay in the Gold Tower when we stay at the Golden Nugget, but were very disappointed with the condition of the room this time. There was heavy mold around the base of the door entering the bathroom and mold all along the caulking in the bathtub and the sink. The bottom of the bathtub was either dirty or stained. The Gold Tower is in desperate need of a renovation.
- 3/5
Overall an ok stay. The outdated carpets give it its charm, but there are some things that need replacing. The shower head was leaking from the sides, so everything in the bathroom would get soaked whenever you turned it on. The music level from Freemont street is absolutely insane. Do not stay here if you don’t plan on being out until 2-3am at night… otherwise you will not get any sleep.
- 3/5
If you need a fridge you have to upgrade, I had to upgrade even when I called the front desk and it was for my medical supplies so we had to use a bucket of ice. prolly my only negative of hotel
- 5/5
Room was clean. Pool was great! Loved the Shark Tank. Sad without a microwave.
- 2/5
The room was realllly dirty and after we complained they offered to send a housekeeper up to clean it. They only replaced the towels in the bathroom. Additionally the shark tank was empty and that was a big reason we booked the hotel. There was no notice of it being closed until we went to swim. Overall an okay experience. Definitely could have spent the same amount of money at a better hotel for a better experience.

I really like the location and the environment of the casino everything was clean felt safe The shark tank at the pool was cracked and therefore it was drained and there weren't any cool fish and sharks to look at also since it was cracked the slide going through it was also closed

Centrally located on Fremont, room was good, the bathroom was smaller than other rooms we've had there but other than that it was great, ac was wonderful, the location of our room was close to the elevator and ice machine.. That was a plus.. The room had a sectional type sofa and that was nice, it was not a small room just the bathroom was small. The bathroom!! In this particular room was too small and housekeeping was really late cleaning the room..also there was an iron but no ironing board, I could have called housekeeping, I'm sure that was an oversight but I made do, it wasn't a big deal this time or I would have called.
- 2/5
Bathrooms were not clean on arrival even after switch rooms 3 time and paying for an upgrade bathrooms were not clean.
- 5/5
Great stay. Would definitely come back

Really enjoyed this property and the size of the basic king room, it was big. Plenty of amenities and food choices, great pool. Casino was great with lots of tables!

I got fooled by some of the reviews and booked my room for 4 days. First night, no one towels, 2n and so forth, requested for towels, trash to be taken and was never done. I would.give it a honest rating of 6/10.
- 5/5
Didn’t use them
- 1/5
Very upset the reason we booked that hotel was for the shark tank and the slide was closed. Got charged 50 something for each day for resort fee and didn’t feel like a resort. The room need upgraded for the prices that we payed was not worth it. Had to change the room cause the bed had hair they moved us so that was nice. No microwave or fridge that’s crazy but don’t think I would stay there again
- 3.5/5
Good
- 2/5
There was a very bad water leak in my room, which had been going on for quite some time, apparently undetected. The carpeting outside the bathroom area was soaked and would squish under your feet when you walked. The wooden door frame to the bathroom was completely rotted away from excessive water damage. Can’t believe that had gone unnoticed for so long to cause that amount of damage. This just shows you the amount of attention housekeeping services give to each room, which is to say probably none. I told the staff about it upon checkout.
- 5/5
A bit sad outdoor pool was under construction it was the main thing I choose the place but overall super clean and fast check in
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the staff was very accommodating.

We have stayed there before and we always have an amazing time the staff is great!

This place is always a great place to stay at just sucks. The fish tank was empty, and this hotel place is wearing and tearing in the rooms.
- 4/5
Pool was too dam hot felt like they were trying to cook me
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable
- 3/5
Check the resort fee $410 for two days. That is crazy. They closed the pool early due to wind. Purchased a day bed for my daughter 21st birthday. Big waste of money. The slide was closed as well as the shark tank.
- 5/5
Clean room convenient location
- 5/5
We didn't eat there.
- 5/5
I wish we would have known ahead of time that the tank was empty in the pool!

N/a I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The property is very outdated and poorly maintained. The room felt old, dirty, and honestly disgusting. The counters and surfaces were sticky when we arrived, which immediately made us question how well the room had been cleaned. The overall cleanliness was unacceptable, and the condition of the room looked neglected for a long time. For the price paid, I expected at least a clean and comfortable environment, but this hotel did not meet basic standards. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others looking for a decent, clean place to stay.

Beds were very uncomfortable. We stayed so we could swim with the fishes and go down the water slide but it was broken and won’t be fixed until next year! No where said that when we booked. Food was standard and not included with the room cost. No fridge or microwave in the rooms unless you upgrade. Could have stayed at the strat and been on the strip. Staff were friendly. The place was clean. 5/10

Everything was nice. But our shower didnt drain properly which was annoying. The ac unit was loud and started squealing at 2 a.m. when I checked the filters they were caked with lint and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. I cleaned them and replaced hoping it would quiet the ac while needing sleep. It did not work eventually turned the ac to a warmer setting which was not ideal got the squealing to stop. We dont complain but that was a pretty upsetting situation. We didnt get any time to address it because we were on the go from sun up to sun down and needed to stay on schedule.

Perfect location. Walking distance to all the action. Staying downtown is way better than The Strip because The Strip is not that walkable unless you enjoy long hikes between resorts in blistering heat. Golden Nugget has a lot to offer and easier to maneuver than a mega resort. We also liked the option for self check in
- 3/5
The hotel was ok, the pool is kid friendly and not a party atmosphere.. We were expecting a pool party with good music. The music was an overall vibe kill along with kids jumping in and out of the water. The slot machines are pretty much all the same, not a lot of variety. Also, plan on bringing earbuds for sleep bc it is LOUD! I love Fremont St but won’t stay down there again. The strip is much better.

only chose this place for the shark tank in the pool and didn't know it was closed until we arrived. what a waste. very disappointed
- 3/5
Pool was only open till 6pm, very disappointing. Every restaurant in the hotel was super expensive. No free airport shuttle to and from hotel, also disappointing. Casino didn't payback. Booked room in advance but when we arrived had to pay another $300 for a room with 2 double beds when we booked In advance, also very disappointing. Timeshare marketing every time you turned around and full of gimmicks. Everything on Fremont Street was also very expensive, not the vegas I once knew, where you could eat for a decent price. No where to sit and relax unless you were in front of a slot no matter where you were.

Always love our stay at the Golden Nugget. We're regulars that stay here 2 or 3 times a year and really enjoy the property! Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Dining options always seem to hit the spot. We'll be back again for our next special occasion staycation! Thanks

We stayed in the Carson Tower. Front desk was very rude when we checked in and had some questions. When we went to our room, we were missing a blow dryer and a chair for the vanity. Went back downstairs to address it and was met with another very rude person at the desk, however they did get the items brought to our room. I have a mold allergy and within hours of checking in started getting ill. I couldn’t see any mold in the room until the day we checked out. I was picking up and turned toward the toilet and notice under the rim it appeared it hadn’t been cleaned in quit a while and black mold was growing. Too late for us but if you check in you might want to make sure they actually clean under the rim of the toilets. You couldn’t see anything unless you had the lid up and looked at it at the right angle. We won’t be going back. We have stayed at this property before and had no issues. Seems they have gone down since our last stay.

Our bathtub had rust all around the faucet. Just was pretty gross.

Cons: The Tank’s Aquarium and slide was closed which was kind of why we chose the Golden Nugget to stay at so it was a bit of a bummer. It’s proximity to Fremont street means it doesn’t quiet down until 3AM but the room had earbuds provided for guest. Biggest con was that I requested more toilet paper and new towels from their text system, received a confirmation and got neither. I was lucky for my partner to find some TP for us and we made do with the towels. Overall FAIR-GOOD STAY.

Staff was helpful we used early check in and it was great and easy! The room was not stocked with waters when we showed up. They did stock the waters on our third day. The biggest bummer was hearing the shark tank slide is closed this season due to maintenance, that was one of our main reasons for booking here and did not see any indications online this was happening. Everything else was great!

The bathtubs are too high to have a good shower. Hard to get In-N-Out of bathtub

The location is perfect on Fremont Street. The rooms are very large; however, they could use a remodel. The bathtub was rusted and the decor was old. I did appreciate the safety, you have to have a room key to use the elevator.

The disappointment was the "shark pool." The images lead me to feel that you could view this while sitting relaxing at the pool. The reason for my booking actually was the pool and first time staying on Fremont vs the strip. The shark/fish pool is only visible up close and through a small gap between the water line(waist level). While it is cool it was definitely not what i wanted. Question is, would I stay again? I would because I'd know what to expect. I also, think the location to walk 1.5 miles to the art district which has several amazing reataurants (Esthers Kitchen and Bar Boheme) or ten minutes for a nice breakfast at Broken Yolk or more intimate, AmeriBrunch.

Enjoyed my stay but the shark tank was out of commission due to the sharks cracking the tank. Kind of sad I couldn’t enjoy the experience.
- 4/5
The pool side was ok, but the water was pretty foggy from oils and sunscreen wasn't very clean the chairs were not too comfortable and the arms on the chairs were very hot because they were made of metal actually burned my arm! I did have fun playing Blackjack poolside I even won some money, but the dealer had No personality and a little rude!! The one thing I didn't like was if you didn't get to the pool early enough to get a chair you had to pay for one. Our room didn't have a coffee machine no fridge the location to Freemont st. was great I had a blast maybe a little to much fun!! lol great time!!

This was our First time staying at the Golden Nugget. It was so loud - the hotel provided ear plugs that semi helped. The room was spacious and clean but obviously has not been updated in a couple of decades.
- 5/5
The room was very clean very quiet. Front desk and check-in was easy and checking out was really easy. One of the best places I’ve seen in Vegas.

I paid Expedia for a four night stay at Golden nugget from April 6 through the 10th. Our plane was late and before I got there during travel I got a text that they had canceled my reservation. I called golden nugget and no one answered. The recordings said to called back at 8 AM. I called Expedia panicking to find another hotel. Expedia will not refund our money for the Golden Nugget. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EXPEDIA!!!!!

When we got to the pool area, we were told someone had tried to have sex in the slide and broke it. Parts of the tank/setup had been moved around, including the fish. The pool itself was open, but the situation was bizarre. The room itself was worse. Carson Tower room 490 had mold in the shower, a chunk of porcelain coming off the tub, and the tub wouldn’t drain properly. We ended up leaving and going to another hotel. This used to be a great hotel back around 2010. It’s gone downhill badly. Never again.
- 3/5
The self parking is free for hotel guests but when we arrived there was absolute no parking in the structure. We then had to do valet for the night which they charge the room but then the next day you have to move the car and find parking in self parking and have to go tell them to remove the charge. We did so and they said they were able to remove the charge but it was still there upon checkout and the gentleman that did help was nice but besides that, there were other times where help was hard to find and sometimes they were rude to my partner. Especially the valet staff. He was overwhelmed so it was understandable but at the same time they should do better with staffing. The room was okay

I had a great experience there. I was extremely worn out from walking from the garage to the front desk. I was offered a wheelchair and that was great! Thank you!
- 3/5
The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the slide at the pool was down due to maintenance for our entire stay. I understand that’s how things go but it was still disappointing since we were looking forward to using it. I paid extra for late checkout and verified the 3pm checkout time with front desk staff. Just before 2pm, we had a knock on our hotel room door and then someone immediately unlocked it and tried to enter while we were finishing up a nap in our bed before heading to the airport. When I came to the door I was asked what time we would be leaving. I told them we had late checkout and would be gone before 3pm. It would have been nice if hotel staff communication was a bit better.

Valet $20 a night why. ? Charging for water. $5 why I thought my room supposed to have a refrigerator .. I eat at the salty grass for my birthday and my baked potato came cold with everything on it. The cheese wasn’t even melted.😞 .. our restroom in our room you couldn’t stand up in the bathtub. It wasn’t level with rust spots on the doorway and the shower corners. All upsetting ..
- 5/5
The staff was absolutely fantastic
- 3/5
The pool was so crowded it was like a human soup and there was no place to sit unless you wanted to pay for a cabana.... also the slide was closed due to a leak in the shark tank. The hotel elevators would only take you to your floor via your room key so if you have friends on another floor you have to meet them at the bottom and ride with them to get together or visit them on another floor.....super inconvenient. No coffee machines or refrigerators in the room... Although the price was reasonable for Vegas..... I won't be staying there again... If you want to party all night....this is the place for you.
- 1/5
The room cleaning staff was incredibly negligent. They left our door open after only half cleaning our room. One bed was clean the other was left untouched. But most disturbing was when we reported the incident Travis did not take us seriously, did not offer to review the cameras, we could have been robbed blind, seriously not okay.
- 5/5
Everything was within walking distance and we ate the steak house in the hotel which was great as well.
- 5/5
My only issue was non personal check in/out process and how far away our room was from the elevator. Had I had a personal check in I would have asked if that accommodation could be made.
- 4/5
When booking the "run of the house" option you are taking a gamble of having proper beds in your room. I thought since I selected 3 people in the room that I would be given a room with two beds. This was not the case when you select run of the house the room is a little cheaper but you will get what is available could be two beds or one. Luckily for us we had a wonderful concierge that helped resolve the issue very quickly. We had a fabulous stay and very happy with everything else.

I was very disappointed that the waterslide and aquarium in the pole were out of order. I checked in through the kiosk they have available and when we got into the room, the room was not what they had booked. I had to go all the way back down in the long line just to have them correct the issue and put us in the original room my head booked and paid for. We paid to upgrade the room and never got the upgrade.
- 5/5
Grateful to upgrade

Our room was not cleaned, unmade bed, trash in the bathroom, toothpaste in the sink, and a noticeable odor. It didn’t feel like it had been reset at all. When we asked to move, we were given a nearby room, but it didn’t have the connecting doors we had specifically requested when booking. There was also an EDM festival across the street, and even on the 18th floor, the noise was intense. The walls were vibrating until around 1am, making it difficult to rest without noise-canceling headphones. On top of that, the showers barely worked, tubs didn’t drain properly, and the TV kept turning on and off in the middle of the night, even around 4am. Overall, a frustrating stay, especially compared to past visits where the experience felt much more reliable and guest-focused. Also now that they have a Chik-Fil-A I will never eat there again. This is a homophobic company and it makes me sad for this money grab. What happened? It used to be a great place to stay, and it was still WAY MORE than the ususal stay in Downtown Las Vegas
- 3/5
Well for what we paid for the room for our three night stay was ridiculous….Room had no refrigerator or fridge and no coffee maker…..Also no wash cloths were provided as well as a in wall HVAC that didn’t seem to provide us with any comfort
- 4/5
Good stay, good price, air conditioning worked perfect. Cleanliness was so so. The bathroom sink didnt drain well and the tub had rust stains on it. Water was nice and hot. We would stay again. Super convenient location to get to Fremont St.
- 2/5
Check in was horrible took two hrs to check in people did not now how to use the check in kiosk there was no staff helping anyone use the kiosk line rapped around to the chick fillet. Pool closed by the time we check in and did not open until the next day after check out. Valet was not very helpful.

I only booked the golden nugget so I could go down the waterslide now if I went on the website, I would’ve read that the waterslide is closed for the golden nugget. It’s gonna be closed for a long time, but Expedia did not advertise that and my price they are compared to the flamingo was way more expensive and let me tell you the flamingo is a beautiful nice place and they have a family pool and an over 21 pool and I loved the family pool. It was great except pack of lunch and bring it to the pool with the kids because everything at the pool is so overpriced.

Property was great!

We requested an adjoining room, but were placed on different floors. The front desk would not listen to our concerns. We were placed in the rush tower, our room was clean but the tub was rusted on the outside and always backing up when you used the shower (didn't drain properly). Waitresses were never around when you wanted a beverage. Also, resort fees are ridiculous, especially when the pool was not open. What are we paying for then?
- 2/5
Pool was closed for renovation.

The room was fine, but the bath tub drain did not work and a the maid was not able to get it to drain.
- 1/5
The hotel charged way more than your quote. No options for upgrades I booked 2 rooms they put us in different towers till I threw a fit.
- 4/5
I love it this time around that the only way a person can get upstairs on elevators is by having a room key, so no key 🔑 no entrance up. Safety 1st Yeeees 🙌 Other than this, I had a great time and will be back because it’s right on corner of Fremont where nothing stops and everybody rocks ❤️❤️❤️❤️
- 5/5
Clean room and fresh coffee and water
- 1/5
Wish they would have told us the pool wouldnt be open as planned. Would have stayed elsewhere and the time share pitbulls were a bit much and you couldnt avoid them as thew placed them in front of the elevators.
- 5/5
Always a good time at the nugget
- 3/5
We went to experience their “world class pool”, it was closed for our entire booking. We would’ve stayed someplace else had we known. If the hotel has a major amenity closed during your stay, the consumer should be made aware of it so that a more informed decision can be made. At the very least a discount should be given.
- 2/5
Rather limited electrical outlets and two of those were absolutely not working. We got around that issue because we always pack a variety of extension cords, several of them. When we arrived for our three night stay there were 4 Keurig cups available for our use. Most hotels when providing coffee in the room, Keurig or other types, typically provide 4 packets/cups of coffee. However, typically the 4 packets are 2 regular/2 decaf, but in our room all 4 were regular. It's nice to have regular coffee in the morning but I prefer decaf in the afternnoon. I asked our housekeeper if she could provide us with a couple of decaf coffee cups and she told us to call HouseKeeping. We did call them I asked if they could just give us a couple of decaf Keurig cups and housekeeping told us we would have to buy 4 more Keurig cups and they would charge $25 to our room for them. Considering what we paid for our Gold Tower room I thought it was pretty chintzy of Gold Nugget. Frankly over the years my experience with in room coffee has been that the hotel would provide 4 packets or cups per day (again, typically split reg/decaf) for free and didn't bat an eye about it. We're not demanding people. We, for example reuse our towels, make the beds ourselves, partly for environment reasons. About the only service we require on a short stay like this one is emptying of the trash containers. So to get basically refused for the one little thing we requested was a disappointment.
- 3/5
The room did not have a remote or a coffeemaker. The towels were very rough. It was so noisy I sleep.
- 2/5
The room did not have a refrigerator. Our beds were very very small doubles. Spent 5 days there sleeping alone as a couple. The ac would work one day and not the next. It would randomly turn the fan on at night and have a loud screeching noise. The pool was supposed to be open and wasn’t. When asked the person at the desk is like oh yeah it’s closed, I said that’s why we stayed here, she told me oh well. Very rude and unprofessional. Long lines for any questions. Only one person working the desk and would take forever. Not ideal. Never comped out drinks or offered any upgrades no matter how much we gambled. The Hilton people by the Starbucks would not leave us alone, the stay was extremely annoying.
- 3/5
The stay was just ok. At check-in they push really hard to upgrade your room. We finally caved and upgraded to a “room with a great view” the parking garage. Lol! We were charged 155$ resort fee. The other pool was not available and we used no amenities. The room had peeling paint. Dust 1” thick on sprinkler heads and dirty disgusting windows. When I called to try and get the resort fee waived. I was told it’s not for the pool, but for the spa and the 4 bottled waters in your room. I would recommend staying at Circa if you are looking for a really nice Hotel Casino, that’s where we spent most nights.
- 3/5
Room was never serviced and the tub was dirty on arrival.
- 5/5
Great hotel to stay in. The bed was great. Slept well
- 3/5
Cons: the rooms were outdated, the bathroom tile was dirty, paint was peeling, lighting was terrible, and the noise coming from Fremont street was LOUD! They provide ear plugs as solution however I think there needs to be a warning to all visitors on that side of the hotel. The sirens going all night long will have even the heaviest sleepers up all night.

Very nice hotel. The best price was thru Expedia even adding another day was less expensive thru Expedia. Everything was very convenient and accessible. Food was very good.
- 2/5
Was there for business workshop, should go elsewhere in the future as Vegas needs to sink and choke on their haughty "resort" garbage.
