There are very few hotels on or near the Strip offering free parking anymore, and that, along with the very reasonable room rate (We paid about $60 per night) is what made us choose Ellis Island. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean - better than we expected for the rate we were paying. The staff were friendly and helpful. While it is "close" to the strip, it isn't quite walking distance, and it isn't in an area that is pleasant to walk around. We were hoping we could just leave our car at the hotel and walk around, we ended up having to drive everywhere. It is a very short drive from the strip and from other dining destinations and museums we went to. While the hotel has a pool, it is tiny, and it always seemed to be very crowded. I went to the happy hour at the rooftop bar, where they had decent drinks for reasonable prices, but there were only a few seats in the shade, and the place was uncomfortably hot, so no wonder there were only a few people there.

This is actually one of my favorite hotels in Vegas. Good location - within walking distance of the strip yet quiet, friendly staff, reasonably priced and best of all: FREE PARKING.

Comfortable room, that’s a close walking distance to the strip, with a few eating options at the casino next door. Great rooftop bar and view. We didn’t find a place to sit and eat our focaccia breakfast.

The location and free parking for hotel visitors. Security cameras and security. An authorized parking card. Parking garage has a great view of The Sphere. The casino games have great play and bonus cycles. Someone arrived in the casino with luggage before check-in time. Security approached them and told them they have a place for luggage until check-in. That was amazing service from my viewpoint. It has one elevator in the center of the building and stairs at the end. I have a troublesome knee so I took the elevator up and the stairs down because my room was near the stairs. They would have made accommodations if I mentioned it. But they can't add another elevator without major construction, but the elevator was avaliable when needed. The bed was comfortable and the pillows are EXTRA soft so you can squish N them to whatever shape is comfortable for your sleep. I squished and fell asleep instantly. I will stay there again.

It was very clean and affordable. Very helpful when you needed something. I recommend highly The one bad experience we did have was at the restaurant. The hostess on Sunday morning June 7 2026 so the manager can see who was working, and it was in the morning. We asked her if we could sit down we were waiting for our friends to come from the room and she screamed and rudely took us to go away and come back when your all ready. If it is policy to do that I can handle that. The next evening on the Monday a totally different young lady so polite greeted us and sat us down as our friend came three minutes later.

I got a room with two beds, and it was honestly kind of cramped. But it had all basic amenities… mini fridge, blow dryer, and iron. It was also close to the strip, close to the sphere, and had free parking on site. There’s an affordable cafe open 24/7 and a brewery that had karaoke pretty late into the night during the week when a lot of places had closed. Loved that!

I booked a room at Ellis island at the last minute after my reservation was unexpectedly cancelled at a different hotel. The only complaint I have is that I wish the hotel room had a couch in it or the option to rent a rollaway bed. My party included 3 adults sized people and we had to share a king size bed which wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t ideal either. The staff was nice and the room and hotel overall were clean. I was grateful they had one of the more affordable (although still on that expensive side imo) rooms available during a super busy Vegas weekend.

We had a nice stay in the hotel, very close to the Strip and with a spacious parking. The was nice, clean and relatively spacious. The staff was very responsive and helpful. Two minor complains, which will not prevent us from coming back again. First, there was some construction ongoing in the parking under our window, which started 2 days in a row at 6 am. After discussion at the reception we could finally sleep a bit later. Second, there was some issue with the deblocking of my deposit. It was delayed and when I messaged the manger he did not respond at all on multiple days. Eventually the deposit was released.

Nice rooms. Comfortable bed. I was on the phone with my business while my wife was going to pay for another night and security unlocked and entered my room raising his voice at me like I was beneath him. I raised my voice back and told him to get the f out of my room. He promptly reported it like I was the only one in the wrong. His supervisor decided to take his side and because I didnt want people yelling at me like a child they informed me that I was not allowed to stay. So I promptly left.

Clean and close to the Wynn - where I needed to be for work. And free parking that is also convenient The a/c wasn’t a smooth noise. It kind of rattled and it would have been nice if it was quieter.

The location, the foods were great with reasonable prices, good casino, not a big hotel so a lot calmer and easy access to all amenities The hotel was a bit worn out but still clean and functional. They could at least change the floor of the elevator.

Near the airport & off strip so less busy Hotel is run down with off putting smells throughout that I won’t be staying here ever again. Also not sure if it’s yet to be a problem but my credit card was double charged resort fees even though I already paid them at booking. The fee hasn’t cleared my credit card yet and staff confirms it was not a double charge and won’t go through but I’m keeping an eye on it. I communicated that they shouldn’t have ran my card for that charge - only the $100 security charge should have showed pending but currently my card is pending $100 plus resort fee and taxes $45.34. If this clears and I have to call them we are going to have a problem.

The hotel itself was clean, but this is definitely more of a Comfort Inn-style experience than a luxury Vegas resort. If you’re looking for something basic, affordable, and close enough to the Strip, it gets the job done. The biggest downside was the Wi-Fi — it was practically nonexistent and barely worked the entire week, which was frustrating. The rewards program was disappointing. If you’re not a slot player, it honestly feels like they don’t care much about you. Table game players don’t seem to get much love. One of the highlights was the food. It’s great for cheap, quick meals, and the restaurant was actually pretty solid. For around $15, you can get a surprisingly decent steak, and the $8 French onion soup was legitimately delicious.

Uber from Ellis island to like flamingo/forum shop was basically $20 every time versus walking 25mins, overall I’d still give it a 4

I had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door (staying by myself. I play poker so sleep weird hours). An employee knocked on my door one afternoon to see "if my TV was working." It was. He then just walked away. Nothing happened, but just didn't sit right.. Glad I was there, maybe don't leave anything in your room when you go out?

Check in attendants very rude. Not helpful at all. Specially a guy kind of heavy body type forgot his name but he wasn’t nice or patient at all. Zero tolerance

I had to early checkout. Staff told multiple times that I would be reimbursed for the overage (before checking out)and he claimed he wrote a note for management. When I called back, the staff was not receptive and was not helpful. Energy was terrible and he just kept trying to get me off the phone.

Room service never came to make up the beds or changing the towels. There were 3 people in our room but they only gave us 2 bottles of water. They told us they would have to charge us if we wanted more water. I was under the understanding that breakfast was included in our stay but that was not the case. If I ever go back to LV, I would find a different hotel to stay at.

Not so fancy as other hotels at Strip, but we were fully satisfied. We have stayed only for 1 night and used benefit of quick check-in (smaller hotel). Free parking, cool guy at the reception, comfy room, close to the Strip... we got exactly what we have been expecting! For a ridiculously low price.. :o)

There was only one elevator for the whole hotel. Had to walk a ways to get to it. Hallways were a bit confusing how to get to parking lot. Air conditioning didn’t work well. We were not able to adjust temperature stayed 72 whole time. The shower was dirty with hair. Also the plug didn’t work properly and the fire sprinkler had rust on it. However, It worked for what we needed it for.

Bathroom needs maintenance

Staff were polite and the room was clean with good counter and desk space. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, though the pillows were too soft and floppy. A/C is loud but slept fine with it turned off. There was a small bar of soap (almost a sliver), but the front desk will provide more toiletries on request. Amenities are basic but decent. Please note you do need to request housekeeping if you want your room cleaned. I didn't visit the casino next door. A good budget hotel that is a quick 5 minute Lyft ride from and to the airport. I would stay here again.

First and foremost the hotel room looks nothing like the picture online, second they didn’t have a microwave in our room so we called staff down stairs and asked if they had one in the lobby, staff told us it’s $10 to warm up food (each plate) which we thought was so expensive for no reason, we proceeded to go downstairs and bring our food because we came back to our hotel and wanted some food before heading to bed and we make it down stairs for the guy to tell us that the microwave is not working and a guy is coming to fix it soon, so why couldn’t you tell us that on the phone as we were asking you???? The AC is old and makes noises, room overall is small as hell and the shower clogs the water too much.

Village Pub and Cafe had decent food. We ate there for breakfast and had their steak and eggs special. It was a large portion, but my temperature of my steak was not cooked to order. I requested medium rare, but ended up with medium. It was still good. Coffee was good and the server brought us a carafe for the table. Server was friendly and attentive.

Really enjoyed this place. I don't need much more than a safe bed and shower, but this had everything I needed. Loved getting breakfast at the on-property diner and having the 7-11 next door. Spent the whole weekend hanging out at the Tuscany and Virgin resorts, with a little bit of time on the strip, and this location was the perfect homebase. Highly recommended if you like old-school, no-frills hotels.

Second stay at this property while visiting Vegas to attend a show at Sphere. Loved the staff, I booked so far ahead that I locked in the old nightly resort fee. The front desk folks worked hard to be sure the extra $11 was removed from my bill. They also took the time to ask us if we had a room preference. After we mentioned that we were early to bed folks they put us way down in the end of a quiet wing. I couldn't believe we were just off the strip in Las Vegas and our room was quieter than our home in Tulsa. Amazing. King bed was clean and comfortable. Room had a big mini fridge that we stocked with snacks and drinks from the 7-11 conveniently located right next door. Huge money saver. Pool and hot tub were nice and not crowded at all. Bars, coffee shop and restaurants on site were great. One ever 24 hours. We didn't gamble but the casino looked modern and nice and the people gambling appeared to be having a real good time. Easy walking distance to Sphere for shows. Free parking. Our go to for shoes at Sphere. ?

The bar was well stocked, and the air conditioning worked well, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, we did encounter two small roaches in the room. The staff didn’t have another room available to switch us to, and since we were leaving early Saturday morning, we decided to just stay for the last night. I understand this can happen sometimes, but it was still disappointing. No credit or compensation was provided for the inconvenience.

Front desk staff Adam, has a nasty attitude and throws items on the counter like pens and ID cards. Stuff bounces off, falls to the ground. When asked not to do that, got offended and refused to check me in. I asked for a manager then he said for the ‘sake of check in, I’ll just do it’! Never got the manager. Everyone else was very kind and nice, but Adam needs to not work in costumer service EVER. 4/24 was my check in!

Simple but clean and comfortable accommodations with free parking just off the strip. Good dining options (at an affordable price) at the restaurants in their adjoining casino.

Did not expect a lot, and when we got to our room we knew we were right……it wasn’t great! However we went to the casino and rooftop bar which was amazing!! Then the next day we went to the pool with our own drinks purchased from the 7/11 right next door and it was such a relaxing experience we didn’t care about the accommodation. It was tired but clean and at the end of the day it was just somewhere to sleep. If you want to do vegas on a budget this is the place for you!!

This property is my go to for the Baker to Vegas race. The renovation is awesome and the staff has always been great. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Restaurants and beers are top notch. Highly recommend!

Easy spot to stay off the strip. Not a terrible walk to most stuff but not a short one either. Room is fine. Little cramped but not enough to matter much. Shower/bathroom good enough. No complaints generally. Little tight in the room for two but all good. Just stay with someone your cool with I guess.

Registration staff were not friendly, very slow and did not make us feel welcomed at all. The restaurant/bar seated us at a table in front of a giant loud fan, when we asked to be moved to another empty table, they declined us and said all other tables were reserved even though there were many that were empty. Upstairs bar/restaurant also told us their tables were reserved for a private party even though it was supposed to be happy hour for guests there. Most staff we encountered were rude with the exception of one gentleman at the casino bar and the waitress in the cafe that we had to resort to eating at. The room was decent and clean. Free parking was nice. Pool was very small. Smaller than it looks in the photos.

-The staff was friendly. -Their associated restaurant, "The Front Yard," has excellent food. -The hotel allowed us to leave our luggage in their locked security room after we checked out. Initial Check-In The guy at the counter was especially slow. He was friendly but this was ridiculous. Breakfast: -They do not provide even the most basic breakfast. -Their restaurant "The Front Yard" has excellent food but does not open until 11:00 a.m. on weekdays. That is the same time as when you are required to check out of your room. That is also nearly lunch time. Breakfast should be available at least by 8:00 a.m. if not earlier. Pool & Hot Tub: -They close at 8:00 p.m. We have never been to any hotel where the pool and hot tub closed earlier than 10:00 p.m. -The water smells, and not a chlorine smell. -Only one jet was working. While we were in there for all of about 7 minutes, a second jet came on but kept sputtering. Room Service: -We had been at the hotel for two nights and left the "Do Not Disturb" sign off the door so we could get our room cleaned. When we returned we were surprised that the maids didn't do our room. We discovered that it must be done by request. We've never encountered that any of the hundreds of hotels we have stayed at before. General: -The WiFi at this hotel is virtually non-existent. -The handle on the toilet was very loose and felt like it was about to fall off. -It was unusual that they didn't have a microwave but not a huge negative. Associated Venues: Via Focaccia: I asked for a blended coffee drink and he said they only do iced. I said that I would have a Mocha with an extra shot. He poured something out of a container, added ice and milk. It was disgusting! Pizza Place (don't remember the name): The lady was rude. My wife asked her about the Mac 'N' Cheese pizza and she said, "We don't have that." She then pointed to the cold slices sitting out ever since we walked up. My wife asked why they didn't just make it. She rudely said, "That would take 25 minutes." She asked the guys if they could make it and they said they could.

The room was very nice for the price, and all the staff I interacted with were very pleasant. I stayed Thursday through Sunday, and while it was slightly louder on the weekend, my room was very quiet past midnight and it was easy to get a lot of sleep. For reference, my room was facing the casino side. The food options on site were very good! I never had dinner at Ellis Island but we had breakfast at the pub and got coffee a few times at Via Foccacia. All of it was very good :) I would definitely stay here again. Also, the parking is easy and convenient. My partner and I like walking and we were happy to park in the garage and walk to the strip.

If you’re in Vegas just to see the sights, and not wanting to stay in a huge resort hotel, then you most probably aren’t fussed about a fancy hotel. The Strip is a 20 minute walk away, with the hotel being just behind Paris which is pretty central to all the hotels. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are a good size with a bath and shower. There’s a coffee machine in the room. The room was quiet, and our window overlooked the paddock area for F1 when it’s there. It’s a small hotel, so you’re not going to be walking for ages to get to and from your room. The staff are friendly. There’s a cafe and bar on site, plus the obligatory casino area. It’s right next to a 7/11 shop and petrol station. The surrounding area is a bit… rough like a giant empty parking lot, don’t let that put you off though, it’s what you’d expect being tucked behind the big hotels on the Strip. Tip: get the Deuce bus, $8 for a 24 hour pass, and use this to go up and down the strip. It will even take you to Freemont street.

The halls and common areas were ok but could really use new carpet and paint as it seemed a little dingy and worn. the hot tub and pool on the first day had lots of bug and leaves in it but the second day it was nice and clean. Overall this is a really great value as the price was way less than other hotels and it was a nice place.

It’s a good to stay a little off the strip but still near by. The strip was a quick 15 mins walk. The property was good but had a weird smell in the room. So I had to use a room freshener whenever I came back to the room. Other than that it was fine.

The manager would not let me check in an hour early because I made the reservation through Expedia So I sat and waited in the lobby as they checked in others. They don’t clean rooms daily unless you request it. And a prostitute propositioned me out front

Great reasonably priced food options… if you use your loyalty card you should get discounts based on play. Their beer that they brew in Utah is a great option compared to bottled beer. Casino - small well run newly remodeled operation… fun and boisterous pit with low limits and 3/2 blackjack… slot machines were decent. Mix of locals and tourists. Great option if you like a property with a small footprint - easy to navigate. I would definitely recommend this property for an unpretentious stay.

They dont serve "brunch" until lunchtime, ie. 11am so dont count on any significant meal options before then. We had to stuff to do so we couldn't wait around. The restaurant was open, but its in the Casino and the smell of cigarettes is oppressive so that was not an option of for us.

The staff support was lacking. After we got into our room we went to the cafe inside the casino that is attached to Ellis Island. After dinner we were watching t.v. and I got feeling nauseous and laid down. I needed some peptobismal and a 7up badly. My husband is handicapped with a lung disease and unable to help so I called the front desk thinking they might have some and could bring it to my room. They said NO they didn’t have any and I should go into the casino to get it. Needless to say “THE NIGHT DIDNT GO WELL”. I tried explaining what and why I needed their help. I will NEVER go there again!

Our suite was nice. It had everything we needed. Very clean. Always someone available for a housekeeping request. Always a live body at the front desk to answer our questions. The bed and the pillows were comfortable. Breakfast at Via Focaccia was fabulous every time. The food at the Village Pub & Cafe made for some of the best meals we had while we were in Vegas. Location was close to everything we wanted to do on the strip. Nice stay. Will go back.

Charging for a resort fee with pool and spa closed is just ridiculous. What do you get? 2 bottles of water and wifi. Yay me!!

Room was clean…

It was clean. I loved the location, and I loved that it was nonsmoking. I suggest removing the resort fee and just raise the room cost to include those charges; that way you will have fewer complaints about that. I would’ve paid that and have been less disappointed. Use it as a marketing tag- “And no reset fees!” You’d get more reservations, and people would be happier. Then it just comes down to better beds and towels and bars of soap.

We were told we'd be charged $70 for "resort fees" when we got there, but they charged us $90. I guess the rest was taxes? This is an average hotel behind the Strip & don't know why Vegas hotels always charge resort fees. This was not a resort. The only thing we used was wi-fi. The TV didn't work & they didn't respond until 45 minutes after we texted for help. (The card in our room said to text). Half of the dinner that we'd saved was ruined because the refrigerator didn't work either. So not sure what "resort fees" covered. Otherwise, their restaurant is good but ran out of the special they advertised. The hotel is also in a good location to walk straight to the Sphere, which is why we chose it.

Bed was comfortable, room clean but extremely tired. Clothing hooks falling off wall, carpet very old and ruffled up and features all in need of renovation or replacement. Bathroom looked tired, but shower was decent quality and had good water pressure. For standard of facilities resort fee seemed very high. Saving grace was price of room paid which was reasonable. As for Ellis Island the casino and restaurants, it’s a place we love and recent renovations have further improved the look and feel. Try the ribs in the BBQ restaurant, they are great and priced for a bargain if you have a players card.

Staff was not helpful at all, common areas and rooms were dated and run down, room smelled musty, body wash was all out but couldn't reach staff, pillows were the size of a throw pillow on a couch, and bed was very uncomfortable.

I asked if I could just pay for a room now and they still declined and said I would have to wait until 3 anyways, I checked the booking site and it said rooms were available. If you’re a walker, this hotel will get you to the Stripe, Flamingo’s, Venetian, Planet Hollywood, Bellagio… or the monorail if you’re going to the Convention Centre, in about 20min walk. Although the property is aging (as seen on the old floor aircon units, for example), service is top-notch; staff are really attentive, check-in and out process is a breeze. Further, their restaurants are known and praised by the locals (every single Uber driver reinforced this). Would definitely come back!

1. Room Condition : The mattress was so old and worn out that it had a massive dip the size of a hand. 2. Hygiene Issues : We found multiple cockroaches and bedbugs crawling around. We caught three and showed them to the staff. 3. Appalling Service : Instead of apologizing, the front desk agent was extremely condescending. They claimed the insects were "just bedbugs" and told us it was our fault for not reporting it in the middle of the night. Their "too bad, so sad" attitude was disgusting. The lack of basic hygiene and professional etiquette is shocking even for Las Vegas. Do not waste your money, and stay away from this place where it's filthy and the service is trash.

It is a good hotel and very close to the main Las Vegas Strip. The reception staff are very friendly. I had a small issue with noise in my room, and when I informed them, they quickly changed my room. I really appreciate their help.

Otherwise located just off the strip so it was less busy foot traffic. Easy to get to places around the strip from this hotel. Will stay again if we come back to Vegas.

The restaurants have taken a step backwards in terms of both quality and value. Service is suffering as well and prices continue to increase. Both the Cafe and Front Yard were disappointing. The rooms are what they are, however, with them deconstructing the F1 infrastructure, our sleep was terrible.

Convenient with the casino directly next-door. And the food discounts were nice. The room was a mediocre hotel. Staff was moderately approachable. Amenities were minimal. Also, the 24 hour restaurant that they advertise in the casino is not good at all and waitress staff are very slow.

People who weren’t staying at the hotel were loud, verbal arguing, a loud motorcycle would come into the parking lot by the casino entrance and the rider would revving the engine. I called to complain about the loud parties in thr parking lot , the drunks arguing and evil knievel w/ his Harley and I was told that the hotel could not control those people regardless if they were on the hotel property. I will never stay there as a guest again.

With the tearing down of the recent F1 racing structures, it was a little cumbersome traveling around the area, but we can’t blame Ellis Island for that. My only complaint is when housekeeping serviced the room, they only replaced one towel (two of us were staying in the room), and also didn’t refill the in-room coffee service. I had to go down to the front desk in the morning .to restock these items. Other than that our stay was great and we will definitely stay here again.

Where we slept we could hear every single person yelling and talking loud every night outside. A lot of cars and motorcycles in the middle of the night starting their cars and reving it very loud. The entire weekend I had a hard time sleeping . But the plus is that it’s located near everything

its a standard dated hotel at a very good price taking in count is right behind the nicest part of the strip. The heart of the F1 happening in November is nextdoor so again, location is the best. overall everything was ok. Casino is pretty busy, I was shocked they have also a karaoke bar, a big sports bar, a restaurant and a sandwich and pizzería! my only complain is the vending machine (snacks) at the hallway didnt work and pillows are like rocks.

We had a great stay! The only problem was the traffic in the evening and night. With the F1 track and out right next door the traffic would back up. But other than that it was a lovely stay.

The check-in was smooth and courteous. Room was clean with coffee maker and bottle water complimentary. The hotel is very dated. Floors in hallways need attention badly. There is only one elevator for the entire building. Easy to get to the casino from the hotel.

Room was dated and very strangely set up with the bathroom sink outside of the bathroom. Entire hotel seems kind of run down. Our room was directly above parking spots, someone began repeatedly setting off their car alarm. After 5 times we called the front desk. Security came and 5 more times over the next half hour they set it off again. All was quiet until around 1 am when they did it AGAIN. It is a 15 minute walk to the linq promenade so that's nice but I can confidently say NEVER again!

Not sure how this was rated 8.2. It's like a motel 6 or super 8. It was overall clean and smelled ok, But: It's noisy. The carpet was old and bunched up (needs stretching out). The pillows were small squares and lumpy (no option available). The fan on the A/C unit wouldn't stay in On mode so you had to listen to the unit stop and start all night long. The front desk puts the phone off the hook so it's always busy when you press the Front Desk button (but you could call 0). The sound wouldn't work on the TV so they had to come and reset the box. You get what you pay for.

The TV kept going out when we were watching so that was a little frustrating especially right when you're at the end of a movie and missed it. Need a bitter coffee pot. It leaked all over and had to clean it. Bed was very comfortable. Need a little better pillows. We stayed at the Ellis because it said it had fitness area. So when I got ready to go after the first night we found out that the fact you did not have one. It's not on your website but when you Google it, it said there was a fitness area. Overall I have to say we had a very relaxing, comfortable stay.

Just the least glamorous vibe....but the bed was good, staff very nice, parking easy and safe and free and very convenient. TV does not connect to any of your streaming services. It was nice and quiet at all times so overall it's fine if you want to pay a bit less.

Such a lovely place to stay, casino has everything you need, many restaurants to choose from, short walk to the strip, and all the staff throughout the hotel and restaurants were very friendly and helpful!

The only thing I didn’t like is that even we know check in at 3 PM. They literally wait till 3 PM, by that time they were like 15 people in line waiting and we can see the frustration on the receptionist, not good costumer service (not smiling or greetings)

First time booking a suite. It was roomy and clean. Two bathrooms was a bonus!

Trash pickup at 5am was noisy Room was very clean.

We loved our stay here! The rooms are nothing special and would’ve expected a bit more space for the price point we paid but it was a clean place to sleep at our favorite casino in Vegas. The Village Pub has great breakfast and you get 50% off two drinks and one free coffee at the other restaurants in the casino with a hotel stay, which was a great bonus. Free parking close to the strip can’t be beat.

Good costumers service

This was the first time I’d seen cockroaches in my room, so I avoided eating at the restaurant within the casino, just in case.

Hot tub closes too early.

We had the steak and eggs. Cooked perfectly. The room were very nice. We will stay again. I liked not have to walk thru the casino.
