La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Las Cruces Mesilla Valley

Had to go find toilet paper and towels. No tissues. Bathroom dirty, moldy. Homeless people all over. Trash over flowing. Hair dryer didn’t work. Most plug ins were coming off the wall. HOW is this place open!! We wer traveling and so tired to go find another place. Would not give a refund

Room smelt like smoke and mildew with dirty/damp carpet. No soap or shampoo in the bathroom and only one towel. Exterior door to the building did not lock or have key access- so anyone could walk in. Staff informed me that they typically rent these rooms as weekly rentals to the unhoused community, which is a great service but hard when you’re a travelling family looking for a quiet, clean place to sleep for the night. Pool was also closed.

The room was super filthy. Toilet had brown rings all around bowl, shower floor was dirty. No shampoo, No soap, just one towel. TV has to be fixed b/c it was missing a cable. The pool was all green full of algae. This was a hotel room and stay from hell.

Staff. Very apologetic All false advertisement. NO free breakfast and/or at least continental nor coffee, no pool, no hot tub. No in room coffee or toiletries. 1 towel, no hand towels wash cloth, or floor mat.

Reserve the room a week in advance was not available upon arrival. Then the room was not finished cleaning when we arrived. We asked for towels but they never brought them. The grounds was dirty. And they had a lot of vagrance all over the property.

Would like a refund room was not at all like pictures

Nothing Dirty, scary atmosphere. Lots of homeless people in the area. Sink was full of water that wouldn’t drain. Sink not functional. Reservations weren’t honored.

Location Room wasn’t clean when I was given a key. No hot water for a shower. Staff didn’t communicate that there was no hot water for the entire place on check in.

Nothing When we arrived on the property, there were three squad cars there. The lady told us that there was no breakfast anymore and that’s why the rooms were so cheap. (I specifically booked with them to have the breakfast in the morning). The first room we were given, the door had been kicked in, there was a hole in the carpet, missing door handles, light bulbs missing, and graffiti in the room. There was no toiletries nor towels. I went down to complain and the lady at the front desk said she’s never had a complaint about the room before and if I needed toiletries just to ask and she would give them to me. I told her that the key wouldn’t work either plus the deadbolt was broken from the door being kicked in. I asked for a refund to go elsewhere and she said because I went through booking, that they don’t give refunds. I asked for another room and again the key didn’t work, missing light bulbs, no coffee, cups, toiletries, and the sink in the bathroom was clogged. I again had to go to the lady and ask for toiletries and she gave me some and rolled her eyes. They also didn’t put pillow cases on the pillows. The door to go out of the side of the building also wouldn’t open. The lady argued with me that it does open if I just do it correctly. It’s a huge fire hazard. Their fire alarm system hadn’t been serviced since 2002 and was also off line. We walked over to Applebees for dinner, when we came back there were four squad cars in the parking lot. When we left in the morning the police chased a car out of the parking lot and ended up chasing the vehicle down the road, three squads chasing it.

There was nothing but homeless people

The place wasn’t clean at all, mold n the tub, the sink, dirty carpet, dirty floor, no trash can, no chair for the desk, dirty/stained towel in the bathroom, only one towel, hole on the wall, flaked paint on walls and ceiling, missing light fixture on the ceiling, stained dresser, looks like milk or yogurt, the whole place smells bad, the reception image is very filthy ….noises and loud arguing all night (next door or two doors from our room….bad bad experience in general..I don’t recommend this place at all

Drugs are clearly being run out of this hotel. Linens had drops of blood on them. Meth zombies patrol the rear parking lot. Advertised continental breakfast wasn't available. I asked why, and was told because the price for the room was too low.

Damp sheets , room changed three times. , dude at the front got an attitude cause tv wouldn’t work with the remote but the remote wasn’t broke, no hot water, pool closed this place is terrible I strongly encourage you to reserve the la Quinta in on hickory dr altho it’s not perfect it’s heavenly compared to this run down crap

Beware! This place is not what is advertised through the photos. Go look at the google street view before you book!

Nothing went well! It was AWFUL! Everything! It Was AWFUL!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Missing blanket, no soap and no refrigerator and microwave. When we got into our room the towels were wet and had to wait until that evening to get them replaced. One of the windows was broken. Homeless people hanging around the property.
