I just wanna say never stay here

No smoke detector. That’s got to be a violation of the law. Fridge did not work. Room showed no signs of ever being cleaned. Mattress was atrocious! The non-smoking room smelled like YEARS of chain smoking.

The shower head needs updating it’s rusted, the king size mattress was horrendous definitely bad on my back and neck. Not comfortable at all. TV wasn’t that great and the light above the bed wasn’t working

Staff was ok and not an issue to check in. We were on the 3rd floor walk up 2 flights of stairs, no elevator. Walkway to room smelled of urine and weed. Bed had fresh sheets which were permanently stained but sheets were clean. Room was not properly cleaned in between dressers, refrigerator(had mold), carpet between beds was stained and not properly vacuumed. Desk chair was broken and should be thrown away. Apparently room may have been occupied by an artist due to all the various color paint splatters and glued on glitter hearts. Now I can tell you the good, bathroom area appeared redone with new sink, faucet, and shower. I did really like the shower head especially the mist spray setting. They appeared to be maintaining the property but really should stay on staff to clean up room properly, replace/update furniture and replace stained sheets.

I requested for a non smokers room and was given a room that smoke. More to that the room was not was not clean. The shower still have eye lashes from the previous occupants. Clean room that smell nice

Many issues that made this stay terrible. Body wash dispenser not filled. Electrical outlet was damaged. Ironing board was broken. No one picked up garbage or performed routine Room service. Also other guests were very much questionable doing questionable things.

One of the most horrible place I ever had stay to in my life. The room was very filthy. No iron, toothpaste or toothbrush, tv didn't work good, refrigerator not working. It took a day for the room to heat up. Arrived on a Thursday and live on a Monday and no room service. Only two wash towels. The sink got clogged up.The sheets and pillow case dirty, comforter had a hole in it. Underneath the bed look like you could plant sweet potatoes. All night noise from the planes, trains, loud vehicle exhaust, people talking in the parking lot and kids playing in the room above me

I checked in early and paid extra fees for early check-in. From the beginning, the room was a disaster. The heater did not work at all, and the room was absolutely freezing. On top of that, the phone in the room was broken, so there was no way to contact the front desk even if I needed help. As bad as that was, it somehow got even worse around 8:00 PM. The water completely shut off — no water in the sink, no toilet water, and no shower. Nothing. This is not just inconvenient, it is disgusting and unacceptable. A hotel room without water is uninhabitable. Because of this, I was forced to leave the property that same night, even though I had paid for the entire day and night. When I called the hotel the next day (Monday 1/19/2026) to address this, the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. He actually said, “When you checked in everything was working, and I know you took a shower during the day.” Is this a joke? Am I not expected to use the toilet or have running water at night? That response alone shows a complete lack of accountability and basic customer service. They refused to issue a refund despite the fact that the room was unlivable. Save yourself the stress, money, and potential health issues. Avoid this hotel at all costs unless you want to freeze, be without water, and be treated disrespectfully.

There was no remote to use the tv

Room had coachroches in room. Staff did try to offer multiple rooms. But if there is 1 coachroach there are a million and 1. Creeped out and left in 20 minutes.

The staff were kind but the overall experience was subpar. The hotel is in disrepair and needs substantial restoration. You could see daylight through the bottom of the door when it was closed. The bedding appeared to be clean but the room smelled stale and full of smoke when I arrived. Overall, not my best “low cost” hotel stay.

The room smelled like piss and there was mold in the AC unit and in the shower. Kind of pricey for a as poor as the condition is.

So the look from the outside was dilapidated, but we still went to the front desk clerk to check in. The gentleman working the desk was extremely nice and personable, but the conditions of the front lobby were very uncomfortable. Once got our keys and went to the room, the room smelled musty, first thing. The sheets and bedding were not clean. The bathroom was the worst. We take a UV light just to check cleanliness. There were bodily fluids everywhere, small bit of mold, dirt in the corners of the bathtub. We then decided to stay there on 5 minutes to find another hotel on such short notice, we did and left within a 30 minute span. Our total time there was 30 minutes, we did not return. And, would not recommend it to anyone.

The Hotel is not like a picture, we don’t stay there, we move an another option more friendly and according to a Family.

Shower door to our room would not close, causing flooding, and instead of offering us another room, we were given blame and only two towels for our convenience. Upon finally speaking to the manager, all we were offered was a “refund” that was less than ten percent of the stay, even for a safety hazard. He was also extremely unpleasant to deal with, rude, and arrogant. The outlet by our bathroom mirror was broken. Room was dirty with uncleaned hairs in the shower, we encountered bugs at least three times during the stay, and it smelled faintly of urine too. Not sure if the staff or room was more disgusting honestly, but I know I wouldn’t stay here again and neither should you.

I couldn't take a shower because the paint was chipping on the bottom of the tub, a dirty wash cloth was left in the tub, the towels were dirty, there were flies and bugs in the light fixture, one of the light fixures was broken, where the vending and ice machine was it was infested with spider webs, i could smell weed in my room, the room wasn't to clean, they lock you out the room at 10 when checkout is at 11...i want my money back i payed to stay at a dump

Didn’t even go in, it looks like a crack house with homeless people and trash and smells like weed in the parking lot. Got a partial refund and stayed somewhere else.

The room smells bad

When I booked first of all when I booked the reservations online, the room look really beautiful. Everything look great up on arriving and entering the room. It was disgusting. There was roaches on the floor some type of bug on the bed the whole room was gross. I was even afraid to take a shower cause the bathtub was so nasty. Very disappointed will not be returning back there again. I have a video..

Nasty and smelly

Safe in hotel room didn't work, so we were worried about our personal items all weekend. Old and outdated room. Bathroom could have been cleaner, particularly the shower and tub. No one came to drop off new/more towels throughout the weekend. No continental breakfast or coffee despite website saying so.

Decent accommodation. Bathroom was not fully cleaned. Hair on the wall. Rust spot in toilet that looks like leftover fecal matter. Drywall mud on top of toilet seat cover.

I work World Pride Festival paid for a hotel stay at this hotel. Took a shower laid in the bed, rolled over and started smelling dry. Urine got up turned the light on and this is what I found.

Quiet neighborhood. Has all basic and necessary room facilities. Floor was sticky, needs better room service.

Bathroom looks horrible, environment smells too much cigarette/weed. Requested for a non smoking room and got a smokers room, requested for room to be cleaned and there was no room service, couldn’t change room until after 2 days. And I was suppose to be there for a week.

Cut my stay short at this location. Had to moved to three different rooms. Each room was old & dirty. Floors were sticky & they all stink like cigarettes, but they do have a nice walk in shower.

Room smelled, coffee maker was disgusting (with no coffee or cups), inside door latch was broken. This crack house should be condemned.

Took the air forever to get cold. Both rooms were dirty cigarette burn holes in the blankets and stains. Bathroom super nasty toilet leaked.

The building and everything about the room looks very old. The frame of the bed nearer the rest room was not properly fitted with safety rubber cover. I bumped my leg into the sharp metal and what saved me from being cut open was the sweat pant I had just changed into. If I hadn't put on that pant, it would have been another story. I reported this to the clerk as I checked out the following morning and he promised to fix it. If it is not fixed, the hotel will be looking at a potential law suit down the road.

No wi fi, a coffee maker that's not operational, telephone and clock in room not operational.

So far my stay has been pretty good. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Some rooms are better than others but it seems like they are working on that by doing renovations.

The was kept very well and clean. The moment I opened to door I immediately became amazed at how awesome the room was. The staff was very kind and answered all of my questions about the booking. I was able to rest well.

The bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned with random stuff running down the side of the toilet. There was pubic hair found on the toilet seat, along with a roach. If you want a nice, clean motel for a night, don’t come here. This isn’t a hotel at all. Manager didn’t want to give a room change till we pressed on.

The desk staff was polite and very helpful. The property is about what one would expect from a Red Roof lately. Unfortunately, it was faírly dirty, the shelf in our first room and the fridge were broken. Staff was very kind about giving us a different room. Second room was better and it was a little further away from the neighbors whose pot smoke drifting into ours was pretty strong smelling. Other patrons were not respectful of the property: someone didn't clean up after a large dog that had pooped on the deck, and someone had left and empty dime bag on the stairs.

We had a non smoking, but it smelled of smoke and i found some ashes. Three light bulbs were out. Also, the toilet seat was loose and the toilet tank lid did not fit properly over the tank. It was the wrong size. Lastly, the soda machine ate the $5 i put into it. When i told the front desk, there response was to call the number on the machine. Didnt get an answer when i did call. I would stay at this hotel.

It was terrible I had a smoke free room and it smelled of smoke and it was horrible. I had to turn on the AC to air it out til the next day and it finally cleared. Apps on the TV didn’t work and it was an old TV.

Property was a little rundown - tub had signs of rust

I booked a room at the Lanham Red Roof expecting a clean, cheap stay off the highway. What I got was something out of a National Lampoon movie. There was an extra deposit that I doubt I'll ever see again. The comforter had something that looked like soot on it and nothing had been cleaned or properly maintained. The whole place reeked. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE. Spend the extra hundred and book at a real hotel.

I've been in better places! The first room was okay, but the next reservation, which is the topic of discussion, disgusting. The hotel employee gave me keys for room 303, and i proceed to check the room. This room smelled like 20 year old Corn Chips and Feet that have been working on the railroad for two weeks straight, with no adequate water supply. I walked in, and walked back out, and downstairs to the office. Explained the situation to the employee, now he's acting like I'm getting on his nerves. He offered me a room, near the office, but this one was no better than 303, with the strong stench present as well. Now im pissed! The employee acted as if these are the only rooms available, when the hotel is completely empty. I've stayed in the hotel 2 days prior to a new reservation, and the first room was okay, as far as the smell. But the floor was so dirty, my white socks were black when i took them off to get in a shower that was barely cleaned. If you want bare minimal, this is it!!!!!

Overall, I guess you get what you pay for didn’t expect much for $81. Very low budget were OK a little but OK.

No towels or wash cloths in the room, filthy conditions outside, people loitering and smoking weed outside, dirty conditions in room (strong odors of mold/mildew and weed). Staff had great customer service skills.

When we checked into the hotel the attendant was polite. When entering the room there was no microwave or refridgerator. I went back downstairs to the attendant and asked to be moved to another room wit a fridge and microwave or give us a fridge and microwave. But was told it would ba an extra charge. I said the room I chose had a fridge and microwave. I was told they could not do that. She spoke to the mannager on the phone, but I was not given the opportunity to speak to him. She said he would be up to check the room. She came up later said a fridge an microwave should be in the room. Someone stole it probably. I was told we would get one, but it never came. The next morning I saw the manager, he only offered a 10 dollar discount. I said it should be twenty for the food we had to throw out. I was not satisfied at all. I will not stay there again.

This hotel was nice for the money you pay. The staff was very nice. Check out times are very prompt although. Housekeeping came around at 10:43 and checkout was 11am. I was loading stuff into the car and when I went to go back in the key didn’t work.
