    The location was great and the breakfast was terrific. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. It would have helped to have notice that the property was under renovations. The staff did its best to address the disruptions.

    Average hotel, breakfast was the perk. Room above us leaked into our room. We were woken up in the middle of the night by the GM Lady and moved. They did nothing to reimburse us or honor us for the inconvenience. But this means little compared to the blessing Jesus bestows on us for our lives where we fail. I’m sure the hotel will clean things up.

    Room was clean. Staff helpful and polite. Beds were new and comfortable. Continental breakfast was above average. Bathrooms were good but there were dark paint splatters on the floor and door knob from the last update. The shower caulking could have been done better- seems like they rushed through the latest update as there were visible gaps in the new caulk that can't be properly cleaned, and so they were discolored.

    Location. Horrible rooms. We had room 412. A/C above us rattled all night. The refrigerator was extremely loud. There was a truck unloading outside that was loud. And mysterious noise from bathroom pipes. We were kept awake for most of the night. There were only 2 pillows and they weren’t great either. Remodeling going on in lobby area. Not a great hotel at all. Would not stay again. Definitely not representative of a Hampton Inn.

    The hotel was under construction and the staff was rude. Housekeeping started yelling at 7 and and didn’t stop all day. Non stop slamming doors and screaming. Forget trying to sleep.

    It appears to be an older property. The furniture and carpet in the lobby was dated and dirty. Our room average, but seemed to be clean. You get what you pay for, so it wasn't bad for the price.

    We checked into our room, and there was human waste in our toilet. This also led us to question the general cleanliness of the room. The staff were very kind, but there was no way to check into a different room as the hotel was fully booked. Housekeeping didn’t arrive until the morning and we had to handle the situation ourselves. We had no reimbursement, only multiple staff saying they let there manager know and apologized. Breakfast was poor. Parking was very cramped.

    Checked in late in the evening. The front desk clerk was incredibly rude when we asked any question. Some of the hotel was under construction but when asked about a lobby restroom, rude. Asked about beverages available, rude. Asked about entrances open, rude. The bedsheet had a large hole in it, guess what...rude.

    They were doing renovations which were really inconvenient and annoying. The Internet and tv didn’t work. The pool was covered up but it was too cold to use it anyway. The staff was great. The breakfast was nice - they even had gluten free bagels!

    the dog just wondering one of the elevators was completely shut down and you could not access the stairs at all because of construction going on over the entire first floor blocking access to the stairs. this led to very slow progress going up and down the elevator since we were on the 6th floor. I don't remember seeing anything about all the construction work going on but it also included closure of the gym which we had prepared to use. they were kind enough to give us a small refund for not having the gym functional. the dining room was good and in the daytime staff we're very helpful and engaging. Also it was quite irritating that there was no coffee maker in the room.

    My group went for a red rock show. The location was close to the venue. The staff very friendly and helpful. However the negatives were that the room was quite dusty. You could feel it on the floor. The extension table under the desk when pulled out was completely dusty and dirty. Hair in the shower. The fitted sheets barely fit on the mattresses. You could see the entire mattress exposed. One of the two elevators was broke down the entire time. The ice machine on our floor did not work so I had to go up to other floors to get some. There was no remote for the TV and when I went to go to get one at the lobby desk, I was given one and said it was universal, but it still didn’t work. We never had any tidy up service while we were gone from the room. Can’t say there will be staying there again

    Arrived at the hotel and there was no power. Elevators didn’t work the whole time. There are 6 floors. Everyone had to walk the stairs. I assisted in helping elderly guests with their luggage. I didn’t gwt a key to my room until late in the evening. Breakfast was not good either. The staff did their best to keep people happy. I will never stay at a Hampton Inn again. I asked if they were giving refunds or any compensation for the terrible experience. I would told I could grab extra snacks from the store. Just avoid this place. The room was clean.

    The property is pretty old. They are trying to renovate. Elevators worked part of the time. Staff shut down one of the elevators, and you had six floors to try to use a single elevator. A maintenance person decided to work on our drain in the sink and had our entire bathroom torn apart, so we had to move rooms. AC was old and loud. There was trash everywhere on the grounds. Again, the staff was super helpful, but the building is old.

    Iron was covered in black rubbery stuff. One elevator down on a busy weekend. I’ve stayed at multiple Hampton Inn and this one just wasn’t up to par the breakfast although busy didn’t seem like it was. Sausage was rubbery and eggs were very watery overall nothing to write home about.

    The room was clean, but Hampton is converting to "Sparks" name and will provide fewer amenities including a continental breakfast instead of the full Hampton Inn hot breakfast. One major disappointment in the room was no closets or dresser drawers. They had shelves (not enough) along the wall where you could place your clothes. The floors are not carpeted. I'll probably look to stay somewhere else on my next trip to Denver. For this trip, the breakfast was hot and tasty included hot foods and cold cereals and fruits, toast, bagels, eggs, potatoes, pancakes, etc... better than average I would say. Duding our stay one of the two elevators was broken so it made it a longer wait at breakfast times. Parking was adequate, but there were only 4 handicapped slots and that was OK, but not all cars there showed handicapped placard. I'm not sure this is policed enough. I'll probably look to stay somewhere else on my next trip to Denver.

    Breakfast was amazing, lots of options. There were only 2 elevators for a 6 floor hotel and 1 was out of order our entire stay, with the other going down periodically. We were on the 6th floor, we weren't climbing 6 flights of stairs. The housekeeping staff had to use the same elevator as all the guests and at times we had to wait almost 5-10 minutes for the elevator to come back to the top floor because it was full with a housekeeper and cart. There's not much handicap available options, there are stairs from every parking area except the 4 handicap spots that are right by the main entrance and slopes to walk anywhere. The room was nice but likely couldn't stay here again with handicapped family accompanying.

    The exceptional responsive staff, open and friendly. One elevator was down and the other was up/down several times during our stay. My wife in a wheelchair made it scary being on the 3rd floor. Upper management needs to take this VERY seriously and fix the problem. For a 6 floor facility, this is a disaster waiting to happen.

    The hotel appears nicer than it truly is. Its run down with stains on carpet, walls, furniture, etc. The elevator is the scariest one of all and literally would stop on floors randomly. And this was the working one as the other one was broken. The worst part of all was the rude cleaning staff. They kept yelling back and forth to each other early in the morning and carrying on personal conversations outside of guest's rooms for over an hour. At one point, a male employee came up and talked to them to keep it down. It was incredibly rude. They would also come into the elevator playing a TV show out loud. I saw them standing outside a room just watching their phone with the volume up. I was a little flabbergasted.

    No coffee pot in the room. I got one at desk, no filter holder, requested twice but they couldn’t find the right one. Originally told room cleaned every other day unless requested. After 3 days of no cleaning we were told it must always be requested. After I requested twice still never got cleaned & they Refused to take out trash that smelled. The breakfast tables were dirty and never cleaned. Towels thin & smelled burned - not Hampton quality. Shower curtain too short, water leaks out bottom. The positives: Good TV Good bed People friendly Good breakfast

    The hotel is doing renovations which I understand causes some level of messiness, but there was more trash scattered around. French fries on the floor in the elevator, leaves scattered in the lobby, and the hallways were littered with trash as well. Our room was clean, but that was about it.     This staff was friendly and helpful I understand each property has their own policy on damage deposits, when going through Booking.com for my two rooms, I was told that there would be no extra charge upon arriving to the property. I was charged $200 per room for a damaged deposit. I am glad that I had the money and if I hadn’t, would, I have been turned away? There should be more information accessible when it comes to stuff like that.

    Much better than the last time we were there. We were given a corner room on the top floor with great views. The remodeling is still going on, but at least we had hot water this time. Very comfortable bed! The remodel didn’t include new shower trays. Sad that everything was new except those, but I guess they couldn’t find new ones that fit. Paint was already peeling off the door to the bathroom. Coffee was very poor in the room. They need a list of TV channels because the guide didn’t match up to the channels.

    Location, comfortable, and fairly pleasant staff. Our first night in the room I wanted to have a bath before going to bed. No hot water! I phoned the desk and they offered a room on the 4th floor. We decided to wait until morning to take a shower in the new room and hopefully get the water issue sorted out in our original room. When we went down in the morning they gave us a room on the 2nd floor to take a shower in. No cold water!!! I then asked to speak to a manager, but was told he wouldn’t be there until midday of the day we checked out- we were there for 3 nights. I asked for a full refund and they said the manager would have to approve it. After we had a shower in another room they finally gave us a new room with hot and cold water. It delayed us over an hour to meet family for Christmas Eve. To this day I have heard nothing from the manager- five days after we checked out. I even called to ask what was going on and was told that my complaint would be updated to show that I called. We won’t ever stay here again. They are renovating the hotel, but they didn’t tell us until we complained the third time about the water. They said the construction workers had broken a water pipe. How can a hotel operate without management for three days??!! And why should desk clerks have to take grief from guests when the management should be there to sort things out. Do not stay here!!!!!!!!!

    I was thankful that the staff allowed me to check in early as I was at the nearby hospital for a family members surgery. But unfortunately there were noise issues at night. There is constant music playing in the hallways at all hours of the night. Front desk said they couldn’t turn it off. I put a towel in the crack of the door and that seemed to help. What kept me up more than anything was the AC unit, it was old and would turn on and off very loudly throughout the night.

    The room itself was fine. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it was fine. Pillows were kind of flimsy. Biggest complaints we had was that when we booked the room, we did so because some of the photos made it appear as if the hotel was situated in an area where there were restaurants downstairs or some sort of downtown vibe but that was not at all the case. The second biggest complaint we had was how absolutely horrible the TV service in the room was. The fact it was direct tv with only 50 channels is absolutely insane to me. We had absolutely nothing good to watch when in the hotel room. Internet wasn't free and we had to sign up for something we didn't want just to get wifi during our stay. The breakfast was also really bad. Breakfast was meant to go until 10A, but they weren't keeping the food warm so if you went downstairs at any point past when it was freshly put out, the food was already cold and not very good. We also went down once at 9:30 and both the waffle mix and milk was gone. The associate at the front desk was very nice and we had no issues at all with him. Not likely to book at this location again though.

    This hotel offers excellent value for the price, under $100, and features a King size bed, breakfast, and a warm room upon arrival, a nice touch for our trip. The room was comfortable during our one-night stay, and the bathroom was good-sized with plenty of towels and counter space. However, the room was extremely warm, even with the thermostat turned off, we felt 20 degrees warmer than the hallway. Unfortunately, we didn't try their breakfast.

    The hotel was conveniently located to the freeway. We didn't explore the area but it was quiet and felt safe. The room was clean but seemed a bit outdated but they are currently under remodel. That didn't impact our stay. I wish they had indoor pool and hot tub. Staff friendly and breakfast was kept stock. Overall good. I am sure it will be much better once remodel is complete.

    Those hotel is just ok. It's fine. Nothing special. Heater was broken. We didn't use it until the last night and didn't really need it too badly so didn't tell the staff until we checked out. Amenities are very basic, but I expected that. The TV in room is probably 20 years old. These could be updated for not too much money. It's a pretty nice location though and that's why we choose it. Close to Golden and Red rocks, not too far from downtown Denver or Littleton. Overall, got what we expected but it needs some updating and maintenance.

    First day the fire alarms went off, Second day there was no hot water and 3rd day we got woke up at 3 am by someone on the 3rd floor destroying their room and PD had to be called. We were supposed to stay another night. We decided to leave and cancel our flight for the next day and opted to drive the 10+ hours home with a stay at the halfway point in order to just avoid another night there.

    Our stay was horrible. We didn’t get the rooms we booked, so then our rooms were separated. The front desk guy who checked us in, LIED to my face regarding a guest that had scared my kids. There was an incident that happened at 3:45am, directly across from me & my daughter that went on for 15-20 min. I couldn’t even call the front desk for help because my room phone didn’t work. I used my cell phone and was told to stay in my room and that the police were onsite, so we couldn’t even get to my husband and son’s room. Said incident involved the guest that had scared my kids and I at check-in.

    I would not recommend this property. Bathroom was not clean. Several nights we did not have hot water for a shower. Everything costs extra! $5 for a cup of coffee (no coffee pot in the room), parking, towels, beach chairs all extra $$. Breakfast buffet was $15 a person and was only okay.     I picked this hotel from reviews and cost of a night stay. Cons: I booked a double queen room and was checked into a king with sofa bed. The sofa bed had less than optimal linens. The blanket was terrible looked like a filter and was falling apart. The front desk gave me another blanket same condition crunchy and i tried a 3rd time and got a thinner blanket not the same material. Think about sleeping with a tarp as your bedding. I guess they are remodeling so those will be replaced after that is completed within the year maybe. If your just sleeping in the king size bed your good minus a few holes on the comforter. My elderly parents froze. I was so disappointed as i booked a 2 queen room months ago. Looked like a highschool football team may have been the reason our room was changed. Pros: from the start The staff were very nice. Got us checked in early. We walked about .6 of a mile to get to the light rail so that was convenient. The location was convenient, and the breakfast was simple and good. I guess my takeaway don't book a sofa room if you need that as a bed to sleep in.

    Really liked the area and our stay. Suggestions for improvement... have enough milk and creamer for coffee in the mornings, as well as food for the complimentary breakfast. There was hardly any food left with an hour and a half left before breakfast ended. There was no fan in the bathroom which was weird. The day we checked out at (check out at 12) housekeeping knocked on our door with a DND sign 2 different times telling us we had to leave at 11. I double checked with the front desk and it was a 12 checkout, however, housekeeping came back at 11:30 knocking on the door telling us it was time to check out. We felt rushed to get out.

    1: No lighting inside as you enter the room. You’re walking into a dark hotel room feeling around for a light switch. The switch just inside the door controls the light inside the closet!? 2: The toilet runs constantly! It is very annoying and noisey. 3: No soap was provided at the bathroom sink.     Very good breakfast with hot food options. Lovely outdoor pool. Bed was comfortable and room seemed clean except for sticky carpeted floor. Carpet needed a shampoo/cleaning.

    Our reservation was bumped ….cancelled without our knowledge…. so we did not stay there. We found another accommodation downtown on our own. Hotel says expedia cancelled, hotel.com says hotel overbooked. Will not use this hotel or expedia/hotel.com app again

    Everything was fine until we arrived at the property. Instead of seeing a Hampton Inn sign, we saw a Spark sign. The main entrance was closed so we used a side door to access the office, which was probably a closet. Disappointed to find out no pool, spa, or hot breakfast. Somebody dropped the ball. We should have been told this before arriving at the property.

    Bed was comfortable, air was cold, shower was warm. Food was decent, though a bit more options would be nice. The hallway AC must have been having issues keeping up, as it was warm. They had a FULL hotel for 2 of the nights, so eating was a bit difficult and they did run out of food, but they did try to accomidate. Only had 3 towels for 2 people for 3 nights, but we made do. Nice property, good location, and we would stay here again.

    Very welcoming staff. Clean inside and out. Room was great, very spacious. The outside parking lot was large and very well lit. Lots of places in walking distance to eat and have a drink. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

    the room we got into for the first night had trash under the bed, food etc, tv remote. we found a new hotel for night two. No help from expedia. Will never use expedia again due to lack of customer service. this was my first time to use expedia. we always stay at hampton's when we travel so was terribly dissapointed in the room's condition.

    Breakfast was pretty good and staff were friendly. Room was eh. The mattresses and pillows were not comfortable. Room was stuffy and bathroom didn’t have vent so the room felt humid after showers.

    Phone in room did not work Parking lot very dark Needs more lighting Front desk person kept announcing to everyone everyone’s room. I schooled her and told her that you should always write it and never announce it for safety reasons, but she continued to do it. She said her manager told her to do that. I know this is against all hotel security Protocols.

    We went to Denver for a grandsons graduation. Yay Spencer! We always stay at this property every time we are in town. The first time we stayed there it was not a pet friendly hotel we didnt know. We took Elmo and Peewee with us. They were so well behaved the management allowed them to dtay. We noticed it is now pet friendly!!

    Stayed here for a concert at Red rocks, super easy drive. The attendants at the front desk both when checking in and when we got back from the show around midnight we're both super sweet and welcoming. Would absolutely come back for our next rr show

    After a year away business once again brought us to Lakewood and the Hampton Inn. The facility is clean and comfortable, located close to where we need to go. The staff is kind and helpful. It’s good to know we can depend on the Hampton Inn for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

    The only problem with the room was that the phone didn't work and there was no obvious connection for it. We did have to ask a couple of times for room servicing as the workers either didn't understand English or didn't understand their job duties or both. This should be fixed hopefully by next stay. The Front desk workers were pleasant, very good and helpful. The breakfast was nice and included a variety of hot and cold items. Scrambled eggs home fries, hot cakes, etc...along with pastries, juice, coffee, tea, yogurt, etc...
