I'm sure your not expecting a top notch room but it was clean, ac was cold, and the beds were comfy. Easily worth the money and will stay again.

The property is dated and could use refurbishment and it's underway. Mostly it needs to be brightened up by repainting and the carpet removed and or replaced. However, everything was clean including bedding, floors and furnishings. It was an older Ramada Inn with their older dark colors. My wife and I never felt uncomfortable and would/will stay there in the future. It's location is in an area of low income spread. We read all previous ratings before going there. I can only say it's obvious to us the poor ratings are largely prejudicial for feeling uncomfortable due to it's location within the low income sprawl. I know this because I was raised within a block of the hotel 65 years ago. All said, why spend 3x or 5x the money to stay elsewhere? Frankly it's stupid! There is a high fence around the sides and back of the property with barbed wire that might be intimidating to some people. Some might think it's to keep people from coming onto hotel property. However, a close look reveals the fence has been constructed to prevent people from entering the adjacent business (not residential) properties when they are closed. Refurbishment is underway but slow due to the high cost. All I can say is don't write it off based upon comments by people who tried to take advantage of their policy of allowing a pet. The bad ratings was the result of a renter not disclosing the fact they had more than a dozen dogs that were part of a dog show.

My room was in desperate need of paint, carpet, etc. Could use grab bars in tub for safety. Manager said they were getting ready to renovate. Sure hope it happens before next year's Sun 'N Fun. I like staying here.

Dumpy roadside motel. Not clean, nothing new, not safe, crappy neighborhood, no elevators. Like the Dollar General of motels. Love the name Best Hotel.

Everything was good. Just did not like that tgey were smoking room and it smelled like smoke

Room 109 had missing baseboards, hole in the ceiling, unpainted patched drywall, soiled carpeting, abused furniture. The air conditioning worked great, the pool was refreshing, the parking lot was clean.

This is a good place to stay but it’s a little run down. Could use some upgrades but for the price you can’t complain.

We felt unsafe and left the next morning. If we had other options, we would have canceled as soon as we checked out our room. Smelled horrible, dingy, two access doors with cheap toggle locks, dirty comforters full of holes. Loud noises all night and unlit, unsafe patio our room. I can’t believe they qualify as a choice for hotels.com. I’ve asked for my money back, but have heard nothing from Hotels.com.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is in the process of refurbishing. The furniture is old and worn. Our room was musty and had a hole in the bathroom wall. It was clean as an old room can be.

The lobby was in such terrible shape, we asked to see the room. We forfeited our payment as the room smelled musty; there was exposed plumbing in the bathroom, carpet was very old, water spotted ceiling in the room and the lobby. Shouldn't be listed on Expedia. Reviews/ratings did not accurately reflect the status of the motel.

The room was very dirty carpet was dirty the furniture was filthy it was unsanitized homeless running all over it was not fit for anyone and why they charged that much money I don't know you need to do a better service on looking into your hotels that you represent

Water bugs running around, carpet dirty and sticky. Mattress had stains. Horrible stay! Bed rocks as if it’s going to brake
