What an amazing place! The rooms are gorgeous and super clean. Upon arrival, you'll find a personalized card on your bed from Paige. And Miguel is a super nice guy who makes you feel like family. I will stay here every time I go to Lake Worth.

I have stayed here several times. It is an outstanding property in a safe quiet neighborhood. It is a breath of fresh air from the corporate hotels. I highly recommend it.

This was one of the cleanest, quietest, and pleasant hotels I’ve been to in a long time. Everything was exactly like the photos. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect. I would recommend this to anyone and will definitely be staying here again when I’m in town. 10/10!

We had a pleasant experience. Needs some more improvements with adding shelves in shower, Dispensing Shampoo, conditioner and body wash inside shower. Also, adding wall hinges to hang towels and such, would be great. Adding a microwave is a Must!!!! Around door could use better weather strip around door to seal properly. There was openings, and see light coming through.

They are currently upgrading the place step by step. I had one of the renovated Deluxe Rooms and it was very nice and clean. I only missed two things, a TV which lets you connect to your streaming service and a laundry room. However, I can definitely recommend this place and will be back. Thanks again for all you help. The room was clean and bed smelled freshly washed. The shower was a bit low but we made it work. The air conditioning was working well just took a bit to cool the room all the way. Would come again!

This was the best experience at a hotel that I've had in a long time. Paige was proactive in making sure I would be there before the front office closed so that I would have instructions for checking in after hours. I checked in at the regular time and I could not get hot water in the shower, and Paige came right over to my room and fixed the issue immediately. also, upon check-in, there was a very sweet personalized note welcoming me to the hotel. That was such a sweet touch and I've never seen that before even at very expensive hotels. The room was immaculate and very quiet at night, and the pool area was really cute. In the morning, Miguel greeted me when I was checking out to make sure that everything was good and he solicited feedback on what they could do better, but I honestly didn't have any. Paige and Miguel both take a lot of pride in this property and it shows. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely stay there again next time I'm in town!

I don’t like anything about the facility and it was horrible to be in that facility. When we reached there if not our money cannot be refund we will have canceled our booking and go to another facility. Their service was horrible. They don’t clean the rooms and when checked out they accuse of making the place dirty.

The hotel was clean and fresh, the staff was friendly and it was a short 10 minute walk to the downtown area

I don't normally write reviews but this place was such a great deal I wanted to make a point of it. It started out a little annoying in that they kept calling me to find out when I would arrive. They just wanted me to know how to get in the room after hours. They could have just emailed that info or texted it but anyway, they just wanted to make sure I knew. Once at the hotel the folks at the desk were super nice and friendly, the room was clean and new (they are remodeled), the bed was comfy, just a great room. Parking was easy. The pool looked sparkling. There was even a small continental breakfast I wasn't expecting. Just a really clean nice place and super nice people, for a great price! Not a lot of frills, but this place is the definition of a great deal to me.

What I didn't like: Beware, the rooms they advertise online are NOT the rooms you get. The room looked nothing like what was pictured. Neither did the "continental breakfast" they offer. They also failed to mention that they only offer basic cable TV. The room was old, the walls were stained, and the squeaky spring bed was horrible. This was what you expect from a typical $75-$99 a night motel you crash at when you're on the road. Certainly not the $180-a-night price I paid. Don't bother; pay a few extra bucks and stay somewhere reputable that's worth the money.

Got one of the newly renovated rooms was extremely clean and cozy. Parking was excellent and right in front of our room door. The breakfast was efficient for quick grab and go

Office staff and housekeeping staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even gave us some ice from their own private refrigerator. The location seemed a little sketchy so we didn’t venture off the property.

basic hotel. nothing over the top. room was very clean, bed comfy, hot shower, so that's all i really needed. javier (i think his name) at front desk was good, only one i interacted with. pool was nice, no laundry facilities

Great AC and fridge in the room. Very nice pool, even though it closes at 5-6. No dresser or hangers in the room. No where to put clothes. Limited room cable TV. Room not made up even though we hung the “make up room” sign on the door. Nice breakfast selection.

Clean They canceled my reservation even though it was paid. Although there were free rooms and they could verify that I had paid for my reservation, they took a long time to fix the situation and give me a room. 3 hours took nightmare with my wife and little son waiting. I would never go back to that hotel.

Breakfast menu was very limited with no place to sit down. Parking was easy.

I guess the adage 'you get what your pay for' applies here. I stayed here for two nights in March on business and needed an inexpensive hotel. But the place was just depressing, old, shabby and un-cared for. Everything from the window blinds not reaching the edge so anyone could see in, to the wall-mounted a/c unit right by the bed sounding like Concorde on take-off. Impossible to sleep as it went on and off all night long. Add to all that the ingrained dirt on the shower floor, the tiny, wafer-thin towels, to the cheapo coffee machine not working. Hated to the mis-matched yard-sale furniture and all the wires dangling from the wall-mounted TV. No iron and ironing board either. Went down for coffee and a bagel for breakfast in the lobby, but at 8am it was still closed. As for the few positives, the bed was clean and comfy, the property felt safe and parking plentiful, and the location was excellent, close to West Palm. But wouldn't dream of staying here again.

We had to leave too early to anyone to open the office, so I wasn't sure if they actually served breakfast--there were no instructions on that. But the room was nice and clean, and it was nice that they provided extra toothbrushes and such.

Overall I would return to a stay as it was a nice place and conveniently located in town. The room thing was told to have been a system error and I think the benefit of the doubt is appropriate for the situation

Room was very outdated, no hot water for majority of the stay. Bed was very uncomfortable often felt like it was about to break.

Parking was safe. Staff was outstanding. The fellow, his name escapes me at the moment (Miguel?), was very helpful, polite, and gave us 5-star treatment. I can't say enough good things about him and his staff. The room was clean and the facilities were well cared for.

The gentleman at the reception was amazing and very professional however the room was in very poor condition, the shower is as wide as a portable public restroom can’t even vent to reach your foot unless you capable of lifting you foot up . The toilet was as low as a daycare toilet and toilet cover was deteriorating the water faucet had visible mold the room smelled awful and I asked for room to be serviced due to after 3 days no one has stopped by to clean . Overall bad experience other than great customer service by the receptionist male and the breakfast lady

Stayed there 1 night for work. It started with a very friendly staff at the office. The room was clean and I had a very restful sleep. I did have an issue with the TV but it was a minor inconvenience. I would suggest possibly opening the office earlier than 8:30 for breakfast as some people, like myself had to check out earlier and missed out on grabbing a bite to eat before going to work.

The location. The quietness. The site pics are not what it appears to be. The air conditioning unit was small and didn’t seem as effective then what were used to. The shower had a tub mat that definitely looks like it had mold on it and it grossed me out.

Staff was excellent providing more than expected service. In room coffee pot maker didn't work properly.

The staff at the front desk are very kind, the rooms where clean and nice for the price . I felt safe and the hotel is near everything that i needed.

The floor was a little dirty but ok with socks on. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was nice. Easy check-in by text. Nothing very nearby but ok for one night.

Miguel and staff were exceptional. The newly remodeled room even though not large was top shelf with tile and amazing shower enclosure. Breakfast is not extensive yet met our needs for short stay (some apples or bananas suggested:) Location is in an older area yet shows signs of improving.

There was air conditioning in the room that worked perfect, and there were wonderful places downtown like 1-1/2 miles away. So many great places to eat. One of my favorites was an upscale Italian restaurant called Mario's. The shops and boutiques were so nice.My favorite was Trinkets and Treasures. It had so much to look at and choose. Best prices on souvenirs. Lots of local artisan paintings and handmade jewelry.

Nice stay at Palm Breeze Hotel. The breakfast selection was small, but it had cereal, juice, milk, and coffee — everything I needed to start the day. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were nicely renovated and comfortable. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Great for the relaxing spring break we had in mind. Sat by the pool, and had only positive interactions with the extremely helpful and communicative staff! Walking distance into town/beach. Would go back in a heart beat!! Clean too.

This place is really nice especially after it's been renovated since the last time I was here the grounds are pleasant and clean. The pool is really nice especially with the fountain right next to it. There's some nice shady areas to relax. I really like the keyless entry with the code on the door one less hassle every time you go in and out of the room no room key to deal with Miguel's a great guy working in the front desk, friendly and he's good at his job. The oversize king bed is as comfortable as the ones you find in a upscale expensive hotel and this place is on the lower end cost wise compared to what's available in the area a great value and a great place to stay. Oh and no problem with parking there's plenty of it.

Location 1. No side table between beds. 2. No dark drapes to cover “too bright through blinds” while outdoor lamp turned on. Didn’t have good sleep straight 2 nights wearing a cloth to cover my eyes. 3. Breakfast was good but not wanting to sit outside by the pool … prefer inside cool room. Overall, we loved the staff there… friendly and communicative ?

Room and bedding were clean, and the bed was fairly comfortable except for the pillows - we both struggled to get comfortable as the pillows were so stiff and had neck pain. The fridge and microwave worked fine. Location felt fairly safe and there were cameras on-site - hopefully working - so we felt decent in that regard. Air conditioning worked well and we could cool the room off. Also quiet and couldn't hear neighbors, which is appreciated. Hot water was almost non-existent - in almost 2 weeks of stay, we had maybe 4 hot showers between the two of us. The rest of the time the water was maybe warm at best. Had to shower at a family member's place. Lack of a hot shower in the morning is a definite dealbreaker to us. The TV did not work - couldn't get any channels, streaming or anything to come on. The room was very bare bones - a small bedside table for your phone or a drink would be nice. For the price I would expect at least the expected basic amenities to be reliable - hot showers in particular.

It seems it was a known and ongoing issue having to do with a faulty socket, and yet the staff did not think it was a good idea to keep an extra hairdryer handy that could be plugged into a different socket in the room. I was there for 6 nights and my room was never cleaned. I had to go down to request towels. I was told to bring the dirty ones and then they would deliver clean ones. I had to go again when they weren’t delivered and carry them up myself. I emptied my own wastebasket. But they were sweet and very helpful with my heavy suitcase.

We enjoyed our stay. The renovated king bed room which was very clean and quiet. Lots of spots for parking. Since we checked in late at night, the staff were great in communicating how to get in, wifi codes, etc. Miguel and Leslie at the front office were very wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay again!

Whole time there pool was under construction and was not available for use, there is no breakfast available, there is poor tv service and housekeeping.

The building looked nothing like the website.it was just a new coat of paint over an old, outdated building. There was no housekeeping service. I don’t go on vacation to do housework myself. That was fine during Covid that restriction no longer applies

Minus (did not affect my stay) - the wires for the TV cable were dangling down the wall. Furniture could use upgrading. The pool water was green...un-swimmable. I believe the pool just recently reopened, so this might be the cause.

The room we were given was beautiful, everything was brand new and the bed was very comfortable... We did encounter a few hiccups while we were there but they fixed everything right away... It looks like the hotel has recently been bought and has new owners that are putting a lot of effort into renovations... The guy that checked us in, I think his name was Miguel but I can't remember, was really nice and really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy... Whenever we come back to this area we plan on booking with this hotel again, and I will recommend it to anyone who asks...

The room we were given was beautiful, everything was brand new and the bed was very comfortable... We did encounter a few hiccups while we were there but they fixed everything right away... It looks like the hotel has recently been bought and has new owners that are putting a lot of effort into renovations... The guy that checked us in, I think his name was Miguel but I can't remember, was really nice and really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy... Whenever we come back to this area we plan on booking with this hotel again, and I will recommend it to anyone who asks...

The woman who answered the phone when I called about my arrival was very pleasant and nice that was a plus. However the room was not great. Biggest issue, roaches! We killed several throughout the night. We arrived after the office closed so we self check in so had no one to tell. They had some stuff in the bathroom like shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothbrushes,but no toothpaste or soap. Had to go buy soap to be able to wash our hands, face and body, thankfully we had toothpaste we brought.The rooms also only had venitian vertical blinds, no curtains, and our room was right by some outside bright light which shown in and kept the room bright instead of dark at night, so between the bugs and the light coming in, we didn't get much sleep at all. The shower was also very small and barely big enough for a grown adult to properly shower. For context, I am a 4'8" woman and it was cramped for me! The towels they provided were small as well, I could barely cover my boby. Also the furniture was not in the best shape and the tile floors had cracks and gauges in it. The floor and furniture I can overlook, but the fact that we had the other issues on top of that, just made us more uncomfortable.

Absolute worst service I have ever received from a hotel. They refused to pick up the phone so I could check in after repeatly calling them. Ultimately had to book another hotel room. Property manager refused to refund my money even though I wasn't even able to check in. Total scam 100 percent do not recommend wasting your money on this place as you more than likely will won't be able to check in.

There was no one on the reception after six.The blinds was broken, so someone could see you walking by while you're sleeping. The bed was lumpy. I cancel my reservation on the first night and did not receive my refund for the other two nights. A book through Expedia and did not get any joy from getting my money back

The manager was great loved it there he was funny and made the stay wonderful. I will be back. With the sandy areas the floors got very dirty. And sandy could use sweeping more but I loved my stay

i’ve been here a few times— and i was happy to see they were under new ownership & had some updated photos of nice, clean rooms. unfortunately, the room we were given was one of the older ones. all the sheets we were given contained holes. there was cigarette burns on the mattress cover. the blankets smelled not great. worst of all, my biggest issue, the floor was filthy. i don’t think they’ve ever actually cleaned them with a mop. walking around would instantly make the bottom of your feet filthy. i ended up bringing my own sheets anyway, so the bed issue was fixable— but they need to invest in better cleaning services. no one should be grossed out by the sheets they sleep in or the dirty floor while on vacation. other than that, miguel was very kind and helpful with assisting us!! the new manager is also very friendly.

Check in after 5, they leave a lock case on your room door. Hopefully, if you have this, the lock case will operate correctly. If not, good luck trying to reach management. Also, some deal to protect children from scalding that was built into the shower knob was faulty and could not turn off the shower.

Was not able to check in when promised. The pool was not ready to use as advertised and they say it could take up to a week to get my deposit back which is very inconvenient

Very basic. Pool was out of service. Desk closed before we got there. Toilet seat was loose. No hand soap or wash rag.

JESSIKA is the best hostess and all pleasant.

Stay there twice a year for business. Easy to get too, front desk very helpful and good check in. Quite good room service easy parking.

5 min drive from the beaches, 20 mins from the port ,easy Uber access quiet area and Jessica is great.

We got the pleasure of staying in one of the newly renovated rooms which was pool side and looks great inside! King side bed AC pumping, little area to eat your food and nice and a clean bathroom. We also did stay in one of the older rooms upon arrival and for the price it just what you need ! Breakfast was good to get your day started, bagels, cereal, oatmeal and some juices, also we arrived very late but was still able to get in our rooms through a lock box but make sure you let them know prior because there is no one there 24/7! Overall, I highly recommend The lake side lodge to anyone looking for a memorable stay. I can't wait to return!

Hotel had a different name. Checkin was easy. Room was comfortable and mostly clean. Some furniture was dated. Vent in bathroom kept opening and closing causing a noise. I would stay there again.

Jessika the manager is always helping the guests and she is very helpful and smiling all the time . The motel is very well maintained and great old style . Ophélia one of the staff is doing a great job and also very friendly . I recommanded the Lake Worth Lodge .

No hot water on shower so couldn’t shower for two days wanted first floor and all they had was second floor and traveling with production equipment is hard to do. So was upsetting from stTt

Great price and location. Old property, but clean. Windows only have blinds, no curtains, so it was very BRIGHT at night. Breakfast was very minimal. No WiFi. Somewhat difficult to find as it’s now called Scandinavia Lodge, not Lake Side Lodge.

A bright light shine through the window making it like daytime all the time. There were no blackout curtains. Impossible to sleep. They gave me another room that was just as bad.

Mattress has spring coming out WiFi stopped on the second day and know one to call because they leave at 6pm . So we had to tv from 6pm till the next day and that was are check out day. Never did anything about the mattress!

Found blood on the shower door and woke up on 7:30 am from drilling noise and paint fumes because they reinvented right outside of my room

I did not have email access on the day of arrival so I did not have check-in instructions. When I arrived at 10:45PM the office was closed. I called the number on their sign out front and left a message but did not get a call back. So in desperation I went to another hotel. I would like a refund for this missed night.

Lamar was so friendly. I booked at 4:45pm and wasn't going to get there until 5:30 and I'm so glad I was reading about the hotel because it is imperative you call if you are going to arrive late! Check in is only 3-5pm, there is no one in the office 24/7! I hung out by the pool for a bit until Lamar got back to check me in. The bed sheets and beds were comfy and cozy, the towels nice and clean. It was a cheap price and just what we needed for extending our stay in Florida another night! The beach was close as was a grocery store.

Check in was bad. This used to be the Scandia Hotel and recently changed to Lake Side Lodge but the sign has not been updated yet - very confusing when you try to find the place. Beware: check in is only between 3pm-5pm, but we only got a warning about that at 4pm when we were stuck in traffic (neither Expedia nor the hotel made that clear in good time). Arrived at 5:10pm to find the office closed and no possibility to check in to our room. Someone eventually turned up at 6:30pm and we got in our room to find that the wifi was not working and the agent at the front desk could not help. Had to wait until 9am the next day to get the manager to fix the wifi situation. King size bed was clean and bathroom was clean. Managers limit breakfast to one drink and one food item per person. Do not expect more than that.

Great location with free parking! Mattress in our room was very old and blinds didn’t provide privacy. The location of our room was loud and a bright light that stayed on all night.

No TV service due to Internet service issues. Must be addressed. Bad enough they have a very small cheap TV in room. Bed sheet ripped on one end. Reported it to not have any issues.

Staff was awesome! Location was very convenient. I was attending a week of training at Palm Beach State College. You can find just about everything within a 5 or 10 minute drive.

This has been the best hotel experience I've had in a solid decade. So many hotels in the same price range are filthy, the staff is rude or just doesn't care, and there's no concern for making your experience pleasant. It might be a budget price, but the way we were treated, and the care and concern the staff showed was what I'd expect for a hotel 3-4 times the price. Lamar at the front desk was so kind and patient, and really went above and beyond. We'll definitely be back.

We checked in at around 8pm. We almost missed the person at the front office and I'm not sure what we would have done had we been any later. I wasn't aware the office closed then. We were told to check in at the office in the morning at 9am. In the room, the TV didn't work, there was no dresser, and the floor seemed dirty. We had a little friend (lizard), but it is Florida so not surprising. I waited at the office until 9:30am and the office still wasn't open. I went back at 10am and someone was there. They moved us to a different room where they had a dresser and the TV worked. There is no ice machine at the hotel and was told to use the ice tray that was in the freezer of the small refrigerator in our room. The ice tray didn't really fit in the freezer (which was just a slot in the refrigerator). Most of the ice cubes didn't freeze after 24 hours. The rest of our stay was uneventful.

The WiFi did not work. Couldn’t get the TV to work. The hot water was just a trickle.

Room was very clean, Picky and Lamar was very friendly and made sure the rooms were in good order begore you enter them.

Unless you make it during there 3 to 5 check in time it is a difficult and sketchy process. So make sure you check out the check in instructions beforehand. You can see in the room around the sides of the blinds, so privacy is also a challenge. Had some long hairs attached to one of the towels that got on us after showering. Overall not a bad spot, just a couple quirks.

The place is not clean and i don’t even get any housekeeping. Because they are only cleaning every four days. And roaches in the room.

Lamar was great, the rooms were nice and clean for the price. The pool should be open later, it does not get dark until 8ish and they close it at 5PM right after getting there. Besides that we had a good visit and would come again for a quick over night visit. I do think they should let you know ahead of time that they are taking an additional $100 off your credit card. They did this without our knowledge, and we think it needs to be more clear in advance. Overall good experience though.

The room was clean and it had a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. The room has everything needed for a long stay; including laundry room.

Lakeside Lodge was clean, safe and fit my needs for a short term stay perfectly.

This was my first time in Florida. They made it very convenient for my stay from the time I got there till the time I left. I recommend this place

As mentioned elsewhere there is no hands on service or housekeeping - this can be a plus too. Lockbox confused me (not a surprise) but I figured it out. Only real quibble is the sheets seemed to be polyester- cotton rules!

When I called the number posted on the office door I was told “I can’t help you” and Hugo hung up the phone. I went to another hotel after traveling 700 miles!

I only need a room that I can sleep, shower and change in. The rest of the time I am gone although I did like having my morning coffee by the pool.

Sadly only one bed was made up so we had to make up a bed with linen from one bed to make up the 2nd

Lots of lights outside the windows with only blinds to cover windows. Was there for 14 days and never had maid service or saw anyone in the office. Key drop check in and out.

First we could not find the hotel because it was under the former name. When our Uber driver dropped us off we didn’t know where the office was . When we found the office, it was closed. This was around 8:00pm. The note on the door stated office hours until 2:00pm and after that check your email for directions. We did and we finally got into our room. Leave the next day, the office was still closed and this was 10:00am. For a one night stay it was fine because we where heading on a cruise the next day.

Never interacted with the staff - we self checked in and had an early departure the next day. The place was great for the price paid and the area around was not bad.

There was no office staff. No Iron, no house keeping staff.

Front desk staff always friendly and on top of things. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, pillows were great. They have everything we need for a week away…that’s why we choose to stay here when on vacation.

I am currently staying here and I would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND this place. It’s quiet and the staff is very friendly. And the rates are affordable.

Convenient and pleasant staff. Classic vintage motel in an established neighborhood. Great historic market down the street. The property is on a well-traveled neighborhood road, so it is a bit noisy in the street-side motel rooms.
