The staff was very friendly. This Hampton Inn is in a very nice area with convenient shopping and dining.

Convenient to the people we were visiting. It is really showing wear & tear. The ventilation system was horrible— the humidity in our room was much higher than outside. Nothing would dry. The towel bar came off the wall, and the bathroom in general needs work.

Breakfast always good at Hampton and this time the berry waffles were especially good. Also quick to fix A/C issue and elevator repair. The hot water in the lobby had a coffee taste and second day a little debri in the water, maybe from coffee or tea. Not a major issue!

Room was not only clean but it’s definitely accessible for someone with a handicap. The only thing that I have to mention is when I came into the room there was an unpleasant smell (like wet rug).

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok not much choices and cold. The coffee wasn’t a good brand but passable. The room was nice and clean. I couldn’t get comfortable in the bed because the pillows are entirely too soft, they sink right down to the bed. All in all I did enjoy my stay it was located conveniently close to where I needed to be.

The beds were horrible and the staff informing customers that only customers with membership who stay frequently are the only ones who can park in a dedicated area is horrible service as long as you have paying customers they should park anywhere. Also the floor carpet was nasty... I honestly wanted to stay at the Hilton but couldn't find one....The price to stay here wasn't worth what I paid at all.also my AC wasn't cooling my room I was miserable I left early.

Properly welcomed our pet. Front desk staff were professional and very courteous. Staff kept breakfast area and coffee station cleanly. Room was clean and spacious

Breakfast was ok, but the room smelled of old age . had to get candles to make it more bearable. The hotel is very very outdated but the staff is incredible.

Rate was very high, but it was during the Sebring race weekend. Felt like it was a bit overpriced even considering that, but the staff and facility was great.

Rooms are old and need a refresh, it wasn't bad when i stayed 2 years ago, the property is not showing well, chairs in the breakfast area stained and looks like they have never been cleaned, i asked for peanut butter for my toast and was told they don't have that. coffee machine is the premix bag in a box type and dispenses with a push of the botton and hot water is mixed into the cup with liquid coffee concentrate, no one changed out the concentrate, lucky there is a dunkin donuts across the street. after the third night, i asked for my room to me cleaned, the lady on the counter ( morning shift) told me, well you are leaving tomorrow, why do you need a cleaning? ( i'm like what?) because the floor is dirty! anyways, they made the bed, left some soap on the sink counter with some trash bags, yep, they didn't empty the trash! If you are on a budget, then i guess the price is good, but for a bit more money, book a place that will at least clean the floor and empty the trash. you get what you pay for.

Staff was nice. Check in went smooth. Room was clean and the bathroom was pretty big too. Breakfast was good as well with a good selection. The bed itself was comfortable if a little squeaky. I would recommend bringing your own pillows though as the ones at the hotel weren’t that firm. But overall I would stay again

Staff seemed fine, but I'll never use Expedia again. When I originally searched for hotels Expedia showed a different rate for this hotel of $126/nt but ended up charging me $141. Ridiculous!!! Never again will I fall for the bait and switch of Expedia! Even called customer service and they "said" they couldn't do anything. Just list the correct rate when people search and you won't have this problem!!!

The air condition unit releases a strong stench when you change temperature or the mode. Maybe a simple maintenance thing, but it needs to be addressed. We had to change rooms during check-in. But that didn’t help. Bathroom fixtures like the flush gets stuck, you have to remember to pull it back up or the water just runs all day long. The drain stopper was broken.

We stayed in the Hampton Inn about 10 years ago. It was a very nice place. Our recent stay was disappointing! The location is in need of an upgrade. Torn wallpaper, dirty walls and doors. The staff at front desk were kind and accomodating. The breakfast employees were very accomodating as well.It just the place needs an upgrade.

Staff was nice. Breakfast was ok. Bedroom only had 3 towels, but we needed more. Overall it was ok for the price.

Room was in fair condition. Had a smell we "got used to". Sink stopper did not lift on its own. I figured out I could pull it completely out of the sink which solved the problem. We appreciated the free breakfasts!

The phone in the room on two separate occasions rang only once . This scared me honestly don’t know why that would’ve even happened. After two hours, I ended up checking out of the hotel room. Upon check out the two ladies at the front desk noted in the reservation granting a refund I said, since it was through a third-party, I’d have to reach out to the third-party. I have done that and however, I have yet to receive the refund. This is very disappointing and awful Customer Service.

Rooms have not been updated or touched up since 2001 or earlier. The rooms smell like mildew and maybe mold. The staff do not communicate with each other causing housekeeping to barge into rooms where people are asleep. It's not a high volume location which is why the quality is so low but that's no excuse to have low quality service.

I usually bring my cleaning supplies,mask, and gloves to every hotel we stay in, because the rooms,especially the bathrooms,aren't as clean as they could or should be. It was very nice to come i to your hotel and not have to clean..🙂 So We stayed in Lake Wales because my fiancée had to have surgery the next morning at Advent Health hospital. It took the stress out of driving from Sebring,where we live,an hour away.The lady that checked us in at the front desk, on Tuesday 8/12/25, around 5pm...she had blondish hair, she was super professional and she also had a great sense of humor. I told her the only reason that i had picked your hotel instead of the Holiday iNN Express across the street, was because your price dropped, (only a couple dollars) but it made me think. Ok ok someone is hustling trying to get the rooms sold out. I'm in. It was only a Couple of bucks... who cares.However,in a world full of hotels one of them, a Hampton Inn to boot, dropped their price?Wow, after an already discounted rate. Whoever dropped the rate $2 is genius, and will bring people in. There was also a gentleman working the night shift or overnight shift on 8/12/25 about 12-1 am.He was very helpful as well. I was shocked to see an actual person at the front desk late at night.It made me feel safe. Most hotels don't have anyone at the desk anymore.Thanks!

What I liked most about this hotel was the friendly staff, the safe neighborhood and the cleanliness of the rooms.

Everything was great. The only thing was the pet fee is $75 instead of $50 like Expedia app said. Not that it would change our decision to stay here, but accurate information would be good.

Room smelled musty. Looked like paint peeling of the door. Water for shower did not get very hot at all. The shower head is very dated. Thankfully didn’t need to wash my hair because if I had it would have taken forever to rinse out the shampoo. Definitely overpriced and will not be back. Very disappointing considering how much I paid.

Did not expect this to be such a truly shabby place. We arrived later at night(10:30) and not even a bottle of water in the room to drink. We would never stay there again.

We had a nice stay at this property. The room was clean. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was great. Checking in and out was a breeze. It’s at the end of a road, but that road has a lot of stuff like stores and restaurants. My only “issue” was that we arrived around 9:30pm and there was no lighting in the parking lot and that made me feel a tad uneasy. Other than that, my family and I would stay here again!

Little pricey for the location but the room was great.

It was an okay stay overall. Staff not friendly, sometimes rude. Door to room didn’t work correctly and we could open it without using the room key. TV small and no properly functioning channel guide. Couldn’t connect our streaming box to wifi. It’s okay if you need something close to Legoland or Bok Tower, but overall I wouldn’t recommend.

Excellent stay- just wish we'd known about the bigger rooms that were the same price as the first (extremely small!) room we got.

I thought the property was nice until my alarm went off at 5am unnecessary. I turned on the light and saw roaches crawling up the wall. Later that morning I went to breakfast came back to find roach on my pillow. I told manager and he offered to refund my stay. I have yet to see refund. came back to

Fantastic staff, great restaurant recommendations, quiet, good HVAC, great shower.

Stayed two nights. Rooms were not serviced after first night. Asked why upon check out and was told we were asked during check in if wanted our rooms serviced but no one asked. In fact, two rooms were reserved at the same time but woman checking us in had to "look" for the second room. TV in my room was really small. Not all of the remote functions/buttons worked. When I told desk staff I was told it problems with remotes were from the previous year's hurricane. This makes no sense.

Pool was not conveniently located.

Everything was great. Staff was nice. Property was clean. The only complaint is the beds are very uncomfortable. Hard as a brick. And toliet to low to the ground and nothing to help you pull yourself up. They did get me a toliet riser but that didnt work for me either. I had called and asked for handicap room the day before. They said there was none available. There was one next to us and we never heard anyone or seen anyone come out of that room.

Check in experience was terrible to say the least. We were given an already occupied room! After about a 1-2 hrs check in process at 9pm with toddlers we finally got to a room. Clean and comfy and near legoland so it was convenient

Our check in was good and the concierge was very accommodating and friendly. However, the room was not totally clean. When we pulled down the bed comforter we found little hairs in various places on the sheets. As if the room was flipped without changing the linens. We don’t like to draw attention to ourselves, so we just asked for extra linens ourselves. I noticed the hotel could use some tlc overall. Paint chipping, rust marks in the bathrooms, etc. also the breakfast was ok. It’s seems the breakfast gets cheaper and cheaper as far as quality of food goes. Otherwise the stay was fair I suppose, but will not return to this property. The review on hotels.com gave this place a 9.8 which is why we booked it. That’s is inaccurate from our perspective

It is a reasonably priced and very comfortable hotel in an odd location yet reasonably close to my final destination. Breakfast buffet was very good. Staff friendly. Room quiet, clean, comfortable.

side note: mattress covers are too small for current mattress (king) cover slid off reveling the bare mattress during my sleep, i was not able to slide back on (not fun when you have kids its the middle of night and would like to stay on top of the sheets).

Everything was what I’ve come to expect from Hampton Inn. However, the quality of the breakfast was a wonderful surprise - honestly much better than it should’ve been!

This hotel was ok - I selected it because of the brand name. We were visiting Peppa Land, an area of the Legoland theme park. The city of Lake Wales is older and doesn’t have tons of options. This hotel definitely needed some updating. The wallpaper was peeling, the carpets in the hallways and elevators were old and dirty, and the hallway walls were scuffed up. The staff was incredibly nice, from the front desk to the breakfast staff. Free decent hotel breakfast and small shop behind the counter. They had a small pool that was separated from the hotel some that needed some help - no towels there, broken umbrellas and a little messy. The room we stayed in was a suite. It was huge ! Very spacious and the kitchen area has a small sink. It was also in need of an update. The drawers in the kitchen are were water damaged and stuck and there was mold in the corners of the bathroom and from leaks in the roof. It was overall decently clean except for the mold. There was no air conditioning in the hallway so it made for a kind of swampy humid feel with the room being so cold. Pretty location and across from shopping. Wasn’t my favorite but I would stay again.

I stayed at your Hampton in Middletown De. Granted it was newer but there breakfast offered a lot more variety and someone was there at all times. The travel bag they gave us had a rock hard bagel in it.
