Could not check in an hour early without being charged an additional $25. After check in, key did not work. Had to walk the entire building to get rekeyed. Room had touch up work done on it...but was unfinished. Bed had 1/2 pillows instead of full pillows Breakfast was like participating in a child's tea party. Tiny dixie cups for coffee and juice. Flimsy cheap utensils. I guess I got what I paid for...

You need the help of a handicap ramp to the pool only way to the pool is steep steps. Only people who can walk and do stairs

Great for an overnight stay. Clean room. Good water pressure. Friendly staff. No elevator that we could see (2 floors only), breakfast was simple (waffle, breads, cereal), 2nd floor was very humid but quiet. Right next to Cracker Barrel and McDonalds. Parking lot- spacious enough for trailers.

It was a clean, calm, safe place to stay as a single mom of two. My kids were satisfied with the breakfast and they are located right across the street (walking distance) from a great old fashioned restaurant.

It looked tun down and possibly out of business. It looked so scary we didn’t even park or go in.

The rooms were nice and clean the website said it had a breakfast buffet but literally all they had was cereal toast and waffles! There wasn’t much personal care products in the rooms like most hotels and you really had too shut the doors pretty hard or they wouldn’t lock

Breakfast is a joke. You get to pick from cereal or a banana. Orange juice is nothing but tang. Kleenex was used for napkins. Mold smell all in the room! Dehumilifiers were everywhere and fans down the hallway. Do not stay here unless you have no other options

Towels needed fabric softener...very rough and harsh. Shade in room broken. Sink did not drain well...water standing. Sink did not look very clean when we arrived. 2 people.. queen bed. Only 3 small, european style pillows..needed at least 2 per guest. Need better soap...not very good.

The staff was amazing the hotel was clean and smelled great inside it was just a very low key non bothering situation if u get what im saying. In my time of need this was a life savor right next to I-75 very convenient.felt safe as well. Room and hotel lobby, etc were super clean. Beds were so comfy! Staff was very nice. Not much for breakfast but enough if you need something on the go. Would absolutely stay here again along the way on our road trip!

First impression was not good. Door handle and surrounding area needed a good scrubbing! Simply filthy. Check in was quick, efficient, and friendly. Room was okay, beds definitely were clean and comfortable. Everything worked except the shade and as we were on first floor it was imperative to get it down. Towels were great if you want to exfoliate, lacking in softness and size. Tiny shampoo, lotion, and microscope size soap bar, but hair conditioner missing. We did not have breakfast as it was one waffle maker, a few pieces of white bread, one sad small bagel, and a few bananas. No protein in sight. Thankfully there was a Cracker Barrel right there. Hotel is conveniently located off interstate. Will not stay there again.

Upon our arrival at the hotel, a discernible scent of moisture and mold permeated the air. Prior to checking in, we requested to inspect our room and discovered hair and stains on the bedding. The bathroom exhibited mold, and the entire room felt damp due to the high humidity levels. It is important to note that the establishment lacks elevators, necessitating guests to transport their belongings to their rooms. Given the unsatisfactory condition of the room, we opted not to proceed with our stay, particularly as we were traveling with a Girl Scout troop. We subsequently secured alternative accommodations that offered appropriate amenities and were situated in a more desirable and secure area of town. The images presented on the hotel's website do not accurately reflect the actual state of the rooms. I strongly advise prospective guests to always request a room inspection before committing to a stay. I highly recommend against choosing this particular establishment.

The fact I was charged $96 and was only in the room for 2.5hrs is wild to me. They didn't have an elevator so I moved to the first floor and also I didn't like the fact that there were air purifiers and humidifiers in all the rooms and hallways which indicated there's too much moisture in the air and they were trying to get rid of the smell of mold I'm guessing. So we were there long enough to put our things in the room and go get cleaning supplies, by the time we came back we had already booked another room and wanted to check out. I paid for 2 nights and was told I was going to get charged still for a whole day but the second day would be refunded in 4-5 days. I see why they have a lack of business there. I strongly do not recommend

the location is good for a halfway point to Orlando. The hotel lobby has an odd smell, very musty and each room has a strange humidifier set up situation. The sink bowl was cracked, the room had a terrible smell, the complimentary toiletries were so small two bars of soap is not enough for anything, and the bedding is thin as paper.

Excellent option if you are on a roadtrip and need to stop to spend the night, staff were super kind and helpfull. The only thing its the smell in the room, the are pet friendly and the carpet smells like puppies.

When arrival at the room hair in shower and bed look like someone have been laying on bed wrinkles every where bad odor when u first come in the motel and also hw told me they needed a card on file to hold incase incident they charge my card soon as I gave it to him cause it went straight to my phone when I ask him why he charge my card he said he will refunded never got it I didnt stay in the room went next door to Hampton and they still haven't gave me my refund Booking.com reach out to them also I did myself this motel is personal own it need update only have stairs so wheelchair person will not be able to stay there not nothing like the pictures on website and the score is wrong up there not a comfortable location to stay unless you like underscore hotels

The lady at the front desk was nice. the property allows dogs so there is fleas everywhere. on top of that i was charged an additional $40 per day for guess when I asked for two rooms. The breakfast is horrible. Literally pancakes and cereal and toast that’s it. Welcomed by a huge roach on the bathroom sink as well.

The location was perfect for visiting Wild Adventures with easy on/off I75. There was plenty of fast food and restaurants nearby to choose from. Clean with a friendly receptionist. Continental breakfast was good with fresh fruit, cereal, bagels, toast, waffle machine, etc. The value for the money was the best part of the hotel. When you enter the hotel, the lobby had a strong smell like bleach or cleaning products. It had dehumidifiers running so maybe it had an issue with dampness. The hotel needs some updating. The continental breakfast was the same each day with the make your own waffles being the only hot item offered. Our room was pretty loud because it was next to the lobby with the ice machine right outside our door.

The breakfast was good, fruits, juice, coffee, bagels, bread and you can make your own hot waffles. Cost was economical too. To top all this the house keeping staff was cherry on top. Excellent staff, very helpful. Highly recommend for your next stay in Valdosta

Bathroom was better. It was clean and upgraded. You get what you pay for. I’d never had a bad experience at a Baymont. Should have paid more somewhere else

The property is not luxurious but the managers are onsite and take pride in running the property efficiently. The interior is very clean, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is limited to coffee, juice, bagels and fruit. Overall, a very good value.

We canceled our stay. I booked a king suite they put my family in a double. The beds in my room and my 2 daughters rooms was filthy the mattress cover was supposed to be white but it was brown from all the stains and hair all over them. The couches had crusty stuff caked on them. My daughter had to ask could she get the toilet cleaned because it had public hair on it.I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone. I wouldn't even let my dog sleep there.

So we asked for another room and the front desk got us another one that had less of an odor. The room and hallways had dehumidifiers running. Our room also had a scent machine there to probably mask the odor. I hate to do this but it appears that the owners/managers are aware of the situation and have used dehumidifiers and scent machines to hide the issue. Hope they fix the issue.

Bed was comfortable and clean. The rest of the room and property were a bit tired and needed to be replaced or updated. I would say that it is rated a bit too high and also was a bit overpriced. Despite that we did sleep well.

Front desk staff was new and tried his best but took a while to check in, my door to my room was difficult to open and the room/doorframes had lots of scratches on walls, falling apart. Breakfast buffet was listed and a big factor in me booking this hotel. When we went downstairs for breakfast at 9am on a Sunday, we saw a bag of bagels by a toaster, no hot foods like eggs or quite literally anything else, so we walked to the Cracker Barrel close. I was very disappointed in my stay after how highly the hotel was rated.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable, but if you are on the wrong side of the hotel the highway noise is deafening. Also the beds were quite stiff, and there’s no elevator in the building

I have stayed at that location before and they had an elevator that went to the second floor. But not now. NO ELEVATOR was awful.... Luggage up and down the stairs, NO HELP, but they have carts for the first floor.... NO King Suits on the first floor, only the second. The first room we were in the pull out couch was broken. There was cracks in the walls. And to top it off there was roaches on the bed and the floor. NOT a good night the first night at all. We had already paid for the room for the week and really just would have like to have our money back for the stay but they moved us to a different room still on the second floor, but did not see any roaches in that room and the pull out couch was better. I will never stay in that hotel again. I needed some milk in the middle of the night so I went down stairs to get some from the breakfast area but the clerk said the refrigerator was locked and he didn't have the key so I had to leave the hotel and find a store to purchase a whole gallon of milk just for a cup that was needed. $8 for a gallon of milk that could have been avoided if the clerk had just allowed me to get a cup. RUDE!!! Never again will I stay there! The same people that owned it the last time I stayed, well they are no where to be found now. It has new owners as do most of the hotels in Lake Park GA.

Room was clean and comfy. It was good for our family of 4 for a one night stay on our way to FL. Small bathroom so not much room for privacy to change clothes if traveling with others. Not a big deal for us luckily. Breakfast was grab and go toast, bagels, cereal, & fruit. A little disappointed it wasn’t hot breakfast but it was fine. Would stay here again.

I need to get a refund. The rest of the issues are with the hotel itself. It deserves fewer stars than are on your website!! 2. Our room was extremely musty smelling. They had dehumidifiers along the hallway and 2 in our room. Evidently water damage from previous storms was not mitigated as it should have been. 3. The sink had a crack and we had to put the trash can under it to catch the water. If not there was a puddle on the floor. 4. The sink was extremely slow draining 5. The outlet and light fixture where the coffee was to have been plugged in had no power to it. We are seniors and had unloaded the car when we got to the room. We just dealt with the problems but will never stay at a Baymont Inn again

This hotel needs help!! First off when entering the building you can immediately tell that it is an old hotel and in need of renovation. The hotel smelt moldy and dehumidifiers and floor drying fans in hallways. The room smelled an old dirty rag was used to “clean” the room. The bathroom door would not open all the way due to either a warped floor or a badly hung door or both. The “free hot breakfast” consisted of bread and bagels and that’s it. Just an overall bad experience. Definitely will not be going back to that establishment.

First room stunk like urine, had to change rooms, but not much better. Towels were all stained and had to practically beg for extra. Ironing board but no iron, you had to request it. Pool furniture was falling apart. Roaches seen. Will never stay there again.

We had your average hotel room, recently renovated, and it was clean. A little noisy, apparently from what sounded like overnight truck deliveries at Tractor Supply next door. On the plus side, there's a Cracker Barrel next door. Overall, the price is right and within our budget.

Facility needs alot of work. The first room we were given smelt musty and damp, there was two dehumidifiers running to mask the smell but they werent touching it. We then noticed a bug crawling on the ceiling so we asked to switch rooms which was handle super efficiently. The second room smelt better but not great, no dehumidifiers, bed was very clean and comfortable. Showers were stained. And then another bug was found in the shower, i assume from the drain. Didnt even consider looking into breakfast after the bugs.

I did not like this property at all. The rooms were so outdated and had a wierd smell. The breakfast was essentially non existant with just a few things layed out. I would not stay here again.

Computer were down took 30 minutes to check in request to be changed to another hotel due to the delay but nothing. Staff not friendly. Room had an air freshener machine which was noisy when turned off cause the room smells like cigarette. Rooms need to be updated.

The staff was very courteous, but when I walked into my room, the smell of mold and mildew was so strong that I could not stay in the hotel that night so I had to contact Expedia to get a refund.

Several things in the room was not the best. Toilet seat was loose and blow hair dryer fell off the wall. Breakfast was bare bones. The place was clean but probably won't stay there again.

Outdated, poorly maintained building. Bed didnt have sheets or blankets so i requested them and they told me I'd have to go to the front desk to get them

First floor flooring was soft, like walking on moist plywood. There were air purifiers all over the hallway and 2 dehumidifiers/purifier in our room. Noise level, combined with AC was incredibly loud- 56 db. Pillows were very hard and most uncomfortable. Water pressure was really good in the shower and friendly check in experience. Breakfast was advertised but not provided. Owner of hotel, while friendly, slouches by the front door and it’s uncomfortable to be observed when coming and going.

There is no elevator, very small pillows, and what really creeped my out was the next morning when I opened the shower doors and look up & to the right of the shower head all the tape that covers the joints of the plasterboard to the ceiling was exposed/opened hole. Then my mind just went to could there be a camera there. Maybe I am a bit over cautious, but it just made me uncomfortable. If I would have noticed it when we checked-in, I would have requested another room as they were not full and maybe they should have never rented out this room with this type of issue.

Sorry but this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Nothing worked. They had some humidity issue and hallways were full of Dhumidfrs - my room didn’t have one. Bed seemed wet. Found out it was wet. Discussing. Woke up and all my stuff was wet from humidity. Smelled like mold. Microwave in dining room didn’t work. Costs nothing for a working microwave. This place is not good.

On arrival, several people in the parking lot drinking and smoking and smell of marijuana. Check in staff was friendly. Room was small, but nice and was clean. Shelf on the wall to hang clothes was missing. Air conditioner compressor kept cycling on and off all night. Bed comfort was OK. Breakfast was disappointing, orange drink, cereal, and oatmeal.

There were bugs in our room (beetles and moths), the beds were like rocks and there was mold/mildew around the showerhead. I'm glad this was a less than 12 stop for my family. We would not stay here again.

Checked in and was told there’s no free breakfast…. Get to our room and it’s very damp and musty, there’s a dehumidifier in the room that doesn’t work and a huge dead (thankfully) roach. We go down and asked to be moved to a different room, get moved, the next room is fine. Still damp, but not musty- there are car air fresheners hanging in the bathroom. We were told they would discount our room $30 for the inconvenience (I wanted a refund and to go to another hotel but they declined) the charge for the room is no longer pending and they never adjusted it to reflect the $30 discount. Gross room overall, bad experience, false advertising on the breakfast. My advice is stay in the hotel next door that looked a lot cleaner and had the free breakfast they advertised.

From the moment I drove past, I was seconding guessing my reservation. Several windows were boarded up, from what I'm not sure. Entering the building confirmed my suspicion. The lobby area was hot, humid, and smelled like old wet carpet. There were a few loveseats on each floor which were very badly soiled; I wasn't sure if they were being removed from the premises or guests were actually expected to sit on them. The room had water damage and mold on the ceiling. The towels had hair and black smudges on them. The AC couldn't do much to keep the overwhelming moldy smell at bay. We ended up checking out before 3 am and slept at a truck stop. Please don't trust the ratings, this place is a dump.

There was nothing to like the hotel was closed for renovations. An employee of the hotel recommended I go to the Hampton that was within walking distance from the Baymont. I am trying to work with expedia customer service to get a full refund and be compensated for the cost difference I had to pay. The Hamption folio charge was $160.67

The hotel was shut down and never we received a notification about that. We had a long trip and thanks God we found a room available in the Hampton Inn that is next to the Baymont Hotel.

Arrived to find an empty parking lot. Talked to the construction workers that were remodeling the closed property.

Everything has been fine, however I fell yesterday on the hard concrete due to uneven concrete going to the handicap ramp, had to go to SGMC walk-in clinic because where I hit my head on the concrete would not stop bleeding. They ordered a CT Scan which came back clear, but I have a black and blue eye socket and the cut continues to bleed off and on! No concussion, thank the Good Lord! That uneven concrete needs to remedied asap!

Currently under remediation. Rooms were closed off in a negative pressure, which is an air conditioning thing. Possibly mold. But otherwise, very clean and look like they were updating rooms.

Quick family weekend in Valdosta. A few things not available due to the hurricane.

The property was under construction/ renovation currently. In turn the room and hallways smelt very musky. Also, very loud due to the machines running .

There was no breakfast as advertised, the hotel was under repair from hurricane Milton....equipment everywhere.The room was very small, no tissue .Considering the conditions at least an attempt could have been made to have coffee available in the lobby....nothing. Huge disappointment.

Nothing like the pictures you see on the internet. Noisy and loud humidifiers all over the place , our toilet kept having issues and the room had a funny smell . We only stayed 1 night while visiting Wild Adventures but I do not recommend this hotel at all . Never again . The fact that we paid over $100 for this is crazy .. not worth it

Well the hurricane came through a few weeks back and they have completely cleaned up everything and it is very nice!! Also the rooms are in great clean condition and the staff handled everything with complete excellence!!

The property experienced hurricane damage a week prior. Significant water damage with machines all throught the halls and rooms. Extreme mold smell. Breakfast area shut down. Parking lot damaged as well.

Considering this property was still recovering from Hurricane Helene, and I was there evacuating from Hurricane Milton, the stay was very comfortable. Everything "worked" in my room and staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again in less stressful circumstances.

The Baymont knowingly sold me a room two days after the hurricane when they knew they had no electricity and building was damaged. I refused to stay there without power. Still waiting on a refund.

When we arrived about 10 PM the whole hotel was without power and a bunch of people were just hanging out in the parking lot. I tried to call the front desk and no one answered. We ended up booking another Expedia hotel a ways down the road. I want a refund for this.

We have stayed here several times while traveling through Georgia. Past years very nice, very clean. Wonder if they have changed ownership. This stay the Lobby was dirty with old coffee stains. Hallways very musty. Shower was moldy. Window blinds broken. Only one washcloth for 2 of us. Very limited breakfast options. We will not stay again. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The breakfast selection was limited and poor. The egg thing was lukewarm. The gravy was tasteless. The juice wasn’t even a natural juice. It was a composite of something unrecognizable. It was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had in a motel stay.

This place was nice overall, but the dryer absolutely sucked. Paid four dollars to dry some clothes and it got the job maybe half done. Also, there were a lot of leaks.

There were people hanging out all over the outside of the building late at night and the unsure of the building smelled like weed and mildew. The room was clean, but extremely damp in there. The bedding and towels all felt slightly damp. There was a dehumidifier running in the room, yet it was still damp in there. A couple was arguing loudly in the hallway very early in the morning and woke me up.

The night person was very welcoming and accommodating. I booked a room and added a dog to the booking and there were no dog rooms left. She called the owner and they found a room. Very nice! Expedia needs to up its game and have a check box for " bringing a pet".

I would never stay here again or recommend this property to anyone. It was old and run down. The $142 charged was not an acceptable price for this hotel. The smell was overwhelming even in the room. There were dehumidifiers in the hallway and room. Looked like property had been flooded and dried out as much as possible. Staff were not friendly. I did not feel very safe here. Breakfast area was dirty and equipment used for food worn and not in good condition. Ice in ice machine was full of dirt. This location should be removed from your list of locations.

I wanted to go to another hotel, but i arrived at 11pm with 2 babies, so it was too hard to move them and we decided to stay. I took photos, but I'm unable to upload them.

I usually don't leave any negative reviews as we stayed in this property a few times before and it is usually just an average place to sleep with easy highway access. My room on the second floor had a foul smell throughout with a weird "damp rag" smell throughout the room mixed with a chemical smell to mask it. (not kidding).My friends who stayed on the first level had to change their rooms out for the same reason. Almost if there was water intrusion somewhere and it was not remedied properly as it was evident with dehumidifiers placed in the hallway and bedrooms. Bedsheets also had stains and bed pillows were overly soft Child size like pillows making getting a good night sleep impossible. We had several rooms booked and none of us will be staying there again.

A dehumidifier was in the room ; but it still smelled & felt swampy. We could not even turn around in the bathroom. Nothing felt clean or fresh probably due to the humidity . ( I am from Deep South so I know how to live in humidity humidity). There was not one picture or piece of art work in the place which says a lot about how stripped down it was. But the worst part was late at night and school kids were running all over the place and making tons of noise and management was not prepared to handle situation or to speak to their chaperones. Never again…

Small rooms, staff wouldn’t give extra towels, very few breakfast options.

The restrooms are small and there was hair left on the sink other than that tge hotle is around a lot of food choices.

The air conditioner was off in the room with 80degrees plus weather. Unbearable until we turned on the room air and left for a while. There is no elevator so had to climb stairs to second floor with luggage.

The young lady behind the counter was helpful when it came to complaints. That’s essentially where the positive ends. The bedding was covered in stains, hair, and dirt. Bedding was replaced but the new sheets still had tons of yellow stains. Room was humid/hot. Bathroom was covered in tiny hairs. Felt dirty being in the room. Alternative was sleeping in a packed car so this was best option at the time. For the price of $138 I’d expect better based off prior experience at other hotels. Very poor experience.

The shades did not blow with the ac blower. They would block all the outside light if desired. Each side of the bed had ac and usb sockets.

The room was clean, location was easy to get to and the nights sleep was quiet. Breakfast in the morning was adequate, some hot foods as well as cold cereals. We would stay at this motel again.
