Best Western Lake Oswego/Portland Hotel & Suites

Clean rooms, helpful staff and the breakfast food was very good as well as the eating area. Perfect location!

The motel sits right next to the freeway so you hear the traffic all night long. They vacuumed the hallway next to our room before 8am. There was no clock in the room. The bathroom light was automatically come on but when you were in the shower it couldn't detect that you were there and would shut off. Breakfast room is really small and the flow wasn't great.

The staff who helped us were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast had a great variety. The only complaint was the noise from the highway, which is in no way the hotels fault, they even provided ear plugs to help.

We stayed for a full weekend. It Centrally located to lots of restaurant options we walked to each night. It had easy access to the highway for our day obligations as well. We got a room with 3 beds, not like the picture on the website looks (online it showed one of the beds kind of tucked in its own room per say for a little bit of privacy) this one didn’t have that. The room was long and spacious. We had 4 adults and 2 kids. (Brought a cot and one child slept on the small couch) The front desk staff was kind and made sure there was coffee all hours Unfortunately Walking into the hotel the smell the whole weekend was rancid… On the surface, the room looked clean, but when we were getting situated I realized there was not even a very general clean up. I did end up needing to sanitize the countertops and the bath tub.

Very accommodating with our large group and dog. Breakfast was great for the kids. Everyone working was very kind.

Convenient location, just minutes away from I-5 exit, friendly staff, good size room, clean and well maintained facility. Ample parking and good breakfast included.

This was a really nice hotel. The breakfast was surprisingly good. There was whipped cream for the waffles and also biscuits and gravy! The room was clean and nice and the staff was friendly.

They seemed to run out of fodd at the breakfast. Over seeing the breakfast room to beusre there is adequate amounts of food for the number of people you are serving. The shower head in our room was too high for some to reach.

My room had a lot of patched holes with no paint, the ceiling of the bathroom had mold on it that needed to be cleaned and primed/painted. I had to wait 15min for someone to come up to the counter for checking out, rang the bell twice.

The equipment in the gym was in terrible shape and they are very old. Only one treadmill was working, the a/c in the gym was not wotking, no cleaning wipes. The bathroom in all the rooms we have did not look clean at all. All the showers looked dirty. Location is great but this hotel needs more love.

Room was spacious, very comfortable. My only complaint was the bathroom, needs an updated bathtub. Housekeepers were great, they cleaned the room every day. Breakfast was great too. Parking was excellent, very safe.

Clean and well maintained room. Friendly staff. Designated pet floor is on the 2nd floor (or at least during our stay in March 2026).

The maid snuck into our room while the do not disturb sign was up. She did not announce herself which made us very uneasy about leaving our belongings in the room while we were gone. We don't plan on staying at this location again. Also there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom.

We had a great stay and the room with 3 beds was really nice. The only issue was that a few of the staff members were rude and kind of weird.

Room was spotless and offered great amenities (hair dryer, coffee maker, fridge..) The hotel’s breakfast options were good also (fruit, bagels, yogurts, waffles) Location was in very close proximity to gas station & food and restaurants. Indoor pool was seemed supplied w/ extra towels. Overall had a great stay. Manager was very courteous at check out. Look forward to staying here again :)

It’s was all right. TV wasn’t properly connected, I had to pull the huge all-in-one desk, tv, mini fridge unit out and fix it as maintenance was not available and the front desk couldn’t help or knew how to (their words) there were a few hairs in the bathroom still but overall it was clean, the front desk gentleman was very nice even though he couldn’t help with the TV situation and the beds were very comfortable for a hotel.

Parking sucked I parked in a space designated in because I had an F250 truck in the middle of the night. The clerk called woke me up out of a dead sleep and had me move my truck because some idiot had to walk her dog in that exact spot, I guess the hotel only has one door to the it, smart enough to tell the heifer to walk her dog somewhere else never stay here again

heat worked well. internet was very good. as i recall 70/55 download upload. the lobby isn't super impressive; i mean it is okay doesn't have a real nice aesthetic--it is just an okay look/too functional looking. the breakfast was quite decent.

The room was extremely dry from the fan.

The gentleman who checked us in was wonderful. The entire process only took a few minutes. Although, we could hear the vehicle noise from the highway, that wasn’t the thing keeping us up. Someone in the unit above us, had really heavy feet.

Room was clean! Love the flooring way better than carpet. Hallways to the room should be upgraded also! Staff was friendly. Bed frames are metal which is great for cleanliness but one of the beds in our double queen room made a horrible sound everytime you rolled over. Load enough to wake up other member if the room.

I left my portable charger, went back a couple of hours later to retrieve it and they returned it to me! Wow, what excellent service. The person at the desk said it was probably on the cleaning person’s cart and sure enough it was returned to me in a bag. They also provided ear plugs since the property is located ear the freeway. It’s the first place I have stayed in many years that has provided them for free!!

Breakfast was not great. They were out of several things and the biscuits and gravy were cold. Would not recommend this breakfast.

We booked the family auite and we really liked it. It had 3 queen beds, 2 tvs, and a sofa. It was perfect fornwhat we needed.

The problem is the i5 freeway is right next door. Trucks roar by all night. If you are a sound sleeper like me, it's probably fine, but my traveling companion was kept up by the noise.

I might have ok/good experience with Best Western before but this is the worst one I have ever stayed and I will never stay at Best Western again. Weird smell in the hallway and in my room too. I checked in around 10pm and as soon as I walked into my room and started put my soft bags down on the bench I got a call from front desk saying I was being too loud? And I will be evicted if someone complains again? I was afraid of making any sound at that night because some Karen called upon me and front desk guy just being too stone-cold.

It was very easy to reserve and check in. The staff was friendly and building and room was clean. The walls are thin, but we were only there for one night so it worked well.

Some cleanliness issues in the bathroom in our room when we got in. They were very nice about it and someone came and deep cleaned the next day. The pool was closed until our last night, but we finally got in so that worked out too. Staff was very nice and helpful : )

I was EXHAUSTED and forgot my debit card in Newport because we had a family emergancy. I booked a room last minute for me and my kids. The General Manager, i believe his name was Hilmy, was excellent. He helped me get checked in even without my card. He also allowed us to check in early which really saved the day because the Portland heat wasnt helping with how tired we all were. The room was clean and its located spitting distance to a Jacksons for convenience. Kids and I loved the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was way better than expected. They even had biscuits and gravy. 100% will stay here again.

Our room was the highlight of our stay. It was a 3 bed that fit all 6 of us comfortably. You can’t find that anywhere! The breakfast wasn’t your typical hotel breakfast. Loved having more options for breakfast. Parking and the area surrounding was great. Will definitely return to this property.

The property clearly had water issues. Fans were going in the hallway, the ceiling had been torn down in a few places, but the staff was amazing and the room was HUGE.

They were kind and helpful. They let me do an early check in after my event ended early and had a room available for me

We stayed for 2 nights. The pool and hot tub water looked to be dirty there was a film on the water and the hot tub especially smelled like mildew. The hotel is situated right off the freeway so the noise from traffic was pretty loud.

The hotel overall was a good place to stay but the decor in the rooms was very bland and frigid. The art was creepy. Everything was white and it seemed cold like staying in a hospital.

We always stay at this hotel when we are in the area. It is consistently good! They have a nice breakfast in the morning that starts early, the beds are really comfortable. The pillows are great. One of the things I like the best is that the sink is outside of the bathroom.

It was a little rough checking in as we had to wait about 20 minutes for the one person in front of us to get checked in.

Cold/hot water faucet backward. Toilet didnt flush. No maintenence so had to switch rooms at 9 pm after all unpacked. Upon leaving attempted to use lobby restroom and both toilets completely clogged

Family room was huge and comfortable (3 queen beds). Highway runs next to hotel, car sounds but really didnt bother us. Biggest opportunity was the free breakfast since they didnt vary hardly anything day to day.

I was pleasantly surprised because I have not stayed at a Best Western for 20+ years. This was a clean, quiet, well-run hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a budget hotel.

Right off the freeway, east to find. Was very close to a conference I attended. The dining options are all within a 3-5 minute walk. The Thai restaurant across the street was very good!

I enjoyed the experience overall. The hotel made right on a bad situation caused by another guest. The best indicator of integrity, is what a place does when efforts go poorly. I would gladly rest here in the future.

I was only there for 1 night and we checked in late so I cannot speak to the facility in a comprehensive manner. The bathroom looks a little bit dated but the room was clean and well-maintained in general. There is also an Olive Garden right across the street and ample dining options within quick driving distance. The staff was also friendly and the complementary breakfast was also a major bonus.

This was a very nice place to stay at first I was a little concerned because it was right off the freeway, but I didn’t hear any noise whatsoever so that was a great big plus the rooms were nice very clean everyone that worked there was very accommodating I would definitely stay here again.
