What stood out most was how quickly and compassionately the team responded during my husband’s emergency situation. Their care, urgency, and calm support meant more to us than words can fully express. That level of service is something we will never forget. The property itself is breathtaking — peaceful, private, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by the most stunning views of the Blue Mountains. I would rate the property a 9.5 out of 10. The only reason it is not a full 10 is because the final road leading up to the resort is very rough and could be improved, and the pool was not quite as appealing as the rest of the property. The food was also excellent — 9.5 out of 10. Everything was well-prepared and enjoyable, though I would have loved to experience a little more authentic Jamaican spice and traditional preparation in some of the dishes. The staff, however, were absolutely 10 out of 10. The overall experience was 10 out of 10. Strawberry Hill is a special place filled with beauty, peace, and exceptional people. We are deeply grateful for our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for rest, restoration, and a truly memorable experience in Jamaica.

The staff were AMAZING! Andrew was amazingly friendly, accommodating and just an absolute joy of a human. Joseph in the restaurant makes a mean skinny macchiato and is just so caring and kind. The white tea smell and cleanliness is just so inviting. The small details like a cool towel after a workout and the amazing white tea body wash are wonderful. The bedding and pillows and blackout curtains helped deep sleep. I'll not only stay again bit will recommend to anyone who will listen!

Seemed more service people needed at restaurant, lobby bar not open every day, We dine at various Shula's , this location limited menu/wine list, Food was good however it was served cold. Not much of a snack store. Appears the pool area needs updated and up keep.

Dinner and appetizers were tasty but not hot . Not much of a snack store .

We stayed there to be close to the Orlando-Sanford Airport.

Everything was perfect and clean and organized

The staff was friendly and apologized for the a/c. We had several parties stay at the hotel with us in other rooms who said the same thing. Overall our next visit will be elsewhere unfortunately and we will check the room before payment. Live and learn I guess…

Big spacious bathroom, clean comfortable room, friendly staff. Loved the duvet comforters! Something happened with the AC unit during a storm, which left our room very humid, Even after the problem was fixed, the sheets/bed linens stayed feeling moist.

Good hotel to stay at in the area

The room was spacious though the wardrobe space was limited. Gym and pool were a nice addition. Location opposite restaurants and a supermarket was great. Room was not clean at all. Bedside table and floor were thick with dust. Bed sheets on one bed had a hole in and were ripped. Despite asking for them to be changed only one sheet was changed. I had to ask housekeeping every day to make up the room which they did but never cleaned. All pump dispenser complimentary toiletries were empty on arrival. Again we had to request these. When we came to pay the bill we had been overcharged by another guests dinner bill from the restaurant. It took a number of hours and speaking to two different staff to get this resolved and even then the bill and explanation were not clear. I found the whole stay rather disappointing as I have used Westin chain a lot previously for business travel and found them to be of a good standard.

The only highlight of our stay was the service. The staff was very attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout, which I truly appreciated. Overall, while the service was great, the facilities and amenities fell short of expectations for this brand.

The hotel was located near great restaurants and shops. The pool was awesome, my kid loved it. Clean and confortable beds.

All we wanted wanted was a nice quiet night but there must’ve been a baseball tournament going on close by. Trash everywhere and kids running all night knocking on doors. What a waste of money and time. The staff was nice. But I felt like I was at a zoo.

Ice machines on multiple floors didn't work. Public bathrooms by restaurant were unkept. No tp. No hand towels. Powdered eggs on the buffet.

Good hotel for light sleepers--recommend asking for a room facing the townhouses behind the hotel. The fan provided was also the best ever--big box fan that drowned out any hallway noise. The front desk staff were amazing--especially the two Hannah's. They went out of their way to find me a quiet room--I ended up canceling my next accommodation and extending my stay thanks to their assistance. The location is also really great--tons of solid food options directly across the road (the Mexican restaurant was awesome), as well as a Publix next door. Access to several freeways is very easy. Walking and bike riding path directly out of the hotel parking lot through a quiet area. If you're looking for a base to explore Orlando and surrounding area, this is an excellent option--highly recommend.

Room was comfortable, but hair in shower, sink and on bed. No daily service, for example our bed or towels were never freshened. We had to go to the front desk for towels. I feel that is not the normal 4 star hotel experience.

The room itself was just ok. The bathroom light was flickering on and off. Not a big deal, but sadly the attention to detail isn’t what it used to be. The hotel felt a bit tired and run down. The lobby had a horrible stench. The staff was friendly but the place needs some love.

Arrived at check in time and had to wait an hour and 1/2 and even after waiting that long our room still wasn’t available so they put us in a room we didn’t book. The lobby was trashed and they never gave us our vouchers for breakfast so we had to go ask and wait in line again!

Very clean & fresh smelling room. Amenities were top tier. I was able to change the room for my disabled son without any issues due to the walking distance from my room to the elevator. Staff was exceptional!

The cleanliness of the room was excellent and definitely met expectations. However, after spending around $300 for one night, I would have expected breakfast to be included. Additionally, the staff did not come across as very friendly during our stay, which impacted the overall experience

Location was so convenient to business and food across the street. Some of the staff was super friendly and helpful. Some were rude and always looked bothered. Beds always comfortable! The property was dated and needed upgrades. Pool was smaller than expected and needed to be vacuumed. Staff was grumpy and eater in lobby did not work properly and staff got mad when asked for help with getting water. No staff working at lobby bar for pool drinks on a Friday!

I am skeptical about my answer. It wasn't easy to reach front desk the phone rang and rang. When I did reach I asked for awake up call at 6:00 a.m.. The purpose of my stay was I was having eye surgery that morning and my appointment was at seven. The facility was blocks away. I never received the call. Luckily I set my alarm on my phone but that was no excuse for me not to receive the call.

We are from Louisiana and we frequently stay at The Westin in New Orleans, we jokingly call it our apartment in the City. We are able to book a junior suit and we are always upgraded to a corner suit and we always get the breakfast voucher and the $15 bar voucher. The room is literally like home away from home. Its spacious, clean, inviting, "our apartment in the city". And the morning breakfast is to die for!!!!!!!!!!!!! We expected the same ESPECIALLY in Florida!!!!! First, a suit was not an option, when I asked I was told I would have to go through sales and they were not there - Strike 1. Next when we got to our traditional King room IT LOOKED LIKE A COLLEGE DORM ROOM - I was so disappointed especially when paying over $150 for the room - Strike 2. Then after being told breakfast would be free my husband is told its $26 per person - Strike 3. I went back down and one of the workers there told me about the breakfast voucher that we were never informed about. He ultimately allowed me to get the breakfast at no charge. Now, we have no problem with paying what we pay for the hotel rooms and we do so to enjoy the property and its amenities. It was suppose to be a 2night trip that unfortunately turned into a 4 day trip. We spent the rest of our trip at the Marriott which is walking distance right down the street from The Westin. We will still enjoy our Westin apt. in New Orleans but never in Lake Mary Florida.

The room was really worn out. The cabinet door to the mini fridge was broken. The TV did not work. I've stayed at The Westin many times. Looking for a new place to stay. The food and drinks were great. Tried to buy a robe when I left. Took over 20 minutes to find one so i said forget it. Not happy.

The staff is not equipped to handle large reservations. They overbooked the hotel and put me and my entire family in a SINGLE room even though we booked and reserved months in advanced for our double rooms. We were also still charged for the single room and they refused to work with us to fix THEIR mistake. Will never ever stay here again. If you can stay in Winter Park or some other city, do it.

The rooms were very clean, but the building itself needs some renovation. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and cracking in places. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, so it got muggy and humid very quickly meaning that the bathroom door had to stay open and the heat had to travel into the bedroom which made everyone else hot. The tub was not draining properly, and within seconds of a very quick shower, you were already ankle deep in pooled water. The elevators were littered with paper, wrappers, and other outside debris. For the amount of money one pays to stay at this property, I would have expected for those things to be more attended to.

My major disappointment was that I reserved and paid in advance for a king bed but when we got to our room it was 2 doubles. We made it work because we were very tired and didn’t want to go back down to the lobby and then move all our stuff.

They put what was supposed to be a one time $100 hold for incidentals on my card then mistakenly put another $100 hold and I only stayed one night. Then they charged my card $195 for the stay even though I booked through Expedia. It was the day of my father’s funeral and now I don’t have access to $395 dollars while visiting from out of town. They said it’ll take 5-10 business days to go back on my card. It was a nightmare scenario that I should not have had to go thru.

This is a very nice mid-range hotel. Everything was great. Room overlooked the roof of part of the building so, negligible, but it was big, cleanly, sunny and well-appointed.

The lobby was nice. The hotel would be okay for business but not a family. They let us check in early which was very much appreciated. I found a bug crawling in the room

Is was nice and clean I got billed 3 times. Twice from the hotel and once from booking. I thought the breakfast was free. It was $20 pre person. The food looked normal. I should rate it lower.

This was a very nice place to stay. The pool is excellent, the size of our room was fantastic, the food at the onsite restaurant was phenomenal! The only complaint is that our room a/c would not go below 73 for some reason, which made for hot, stuffy sleeping. Despite this, I would definitely stay here again.

Ok so honest review here everything was great until someone walked in at 9:14am to the room. I have a 6 yr old and that wasnt cool. Check out is at 12 so i dont understand why the employees are so daring to come in just like that. It was truly upsetting. Hotel was clean and pool was good and clean. Just very concerning for safety reasons and inappropriate the behavior. I expect management will adress this with their staff. If the excuse is they knock, theres no way i wouldve heard that with the tv on but also take into consideration that people do shower and thats an invasion of privacy.

Ok so honest review here everything was great until someone walked in at 9:14am to the room. I have a 6 yr old and that wasnt cool. I was silently charged without being told an addional county fee 2 days after I departed. I even spoke to the staff and said how the extra charge was not seen or added to my receipt but was later added after my departure. They said it was a new county fee that went into effect 3 months ago

This is the only hotel I can recall that doesn’t have shower caps. Fortunately, there is a Walgreens nearby where they can be purchased.

I liked how modern it was and what it offered. What I did not like was that we ate in the hallway Saturday morning instead of one of the rooms which would have been better. The staff was excellent and friendly.

We were put in a room way back furthest than ever. There was junk in the parking lot twice by our vehicle beer bottles and cups. Last morning we had to evacuate for 45 mins for a fire alarm which we never were told reason for it. Not the greatest stay

The Westin is an amazing place to stay! The staff was nice, the rooms are really big and it’s in a great location. The restaurant that’s attached to it Shulas 347 Grill is delicious!!!

Very clean and comfortable environment.

Hannah at the front desk was amazing. Her customer service was impeccable!!! I will be coming back just for her.

What I loved about this property was the fact that you had to use your room key to access the elevators. Also after a certain time at night, the front lobby doors won’t open unless you use your hotel key. Nice feature.

Property is very nice. Unfortunately my room was not properly prepared when I arrived. Found hair on bathtub and bathroom counter and floor seemed dirty with shoe marks. Should have complained at front desk but was too tired to bother switching rooms, etc…

We stayed here post-cruise before our flight home via the Sanford-Orlando airport. Its proximity to this airport is why we chose the Westin. We loved the outside areas on the property, although it was too cold to enjoy the pool! We did enjoy walking the area both days that we were there. Publix is right across the street and there are many restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a terrific lunch at Shula's, which is located on the property. My husband ordered THE best hamburger I've ever tasted-the French Onion burger. We would not hesitate to stay here again should we return to the Lake Mary region.

I had no hot water 2 mornings in a row. They moved me to another room for the last night and everything was fine in that room.

Next, we did move rooms the next day, and ran out of hot water twice!!! My wife was livid. Needless to say the holidays brings out large crowds and challenges but we are not happy with this level of service at a Westin hotel.

Not a very pleasant stay.

This is a beautiful property and we enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant was absolutely fantastic, staff was great. My only suggestion would be to have a coffee bar in the lobby in the morning so that someone can come down just for a cup of coffee. The only issue was the day we were leaving the housekeeping staff barely touched the room as far as cleaning it. Almost felt like "well if you're going to be leaving we don't have to do much"

I really enjoyed my stay here at the Westin. Convenient location and easy parking. Staff were great! Will definitely stay again with my next trip to Orlando.

Nice hotel.

Quick check in and able security on ground. Hotel is very clean and rooms are comfortable with large screens HD TVs. Housekeeping daily and staff are happy to be able to help. Nice bar and restaurant, convenience of proximity shopping and dining with beautiful surroundings.

Wonderful experience but learned through the experience of the emergency not to stay on the top floor and to ask for a room by the elevator. We are senior citizens and my husband has a heart condition and couldnt make it down the stairs. Fortunately, the gentleman in the lobby allowed us to use the elevator. We were with the ball team but not given the discount but know how now. Awesome place!

The staff were not friendly when we called for room service or purchased a drink from the lobby. The air conditioning never got cold and the tub had mold on it.

Nicely appointed rooms. I am an executive housekeeper in another state. Because of this I am more critical of room cleaning. Overall room was clean, but they need to pay attention to detail and get things most guests won’t notice or look for. Overall I will stay there again
