Wyndham Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs® Area

The place was ok, tge rooms are a bit old and in need of updating. Rooms not being allowed to have certain channels is not right. Had to watch the NBA finals on my phone instead of the TV in my room. They need another restaurant option. May never stay there again.

Only possible improvement is to ensure families w small children who ask for adjoining rooms and know you try your best is to stand by it when you say it’s taken care of. Nothing worse than parents who can’t go into grandparents room while baby is sleeping and still have the security of having the child sleeping just on the other side of the connecting room door.

The property was a 5 minute walk to Disney Springs. There was provided bus service to the parks but we drove and it was very easy to get to the theme parks. The staff were friendly and helpful and genuinely very nice. The 24 hour market had some good snacks available and even a nice ‘coffee shop’ breakfast bagel. The breakfast buffet was delicious but a bit pricy at $25 per person ages 10+. The pool side restaurant was not very good

The property has a mini-market inside which is convenient to those staying there. It is opened 24/7 and has a variety of options from personal hygiene to foods! Great value for those who don’t want to venture off property to the local pharmacy or some sketchy gas station late at night. Friendly and helpful staff too! Would recommend and stay there again!

The room (and hotel overall) were very clean looking and feeling. The pool area is always a hit and most staff were extremely kind and helpful - especially front desk staff, they all are always the sweetest, most welcoming people we interact with. My family and I love the location, easy to walk over to Disney Springs and also very convenient to drive around and explore the general area or hop over to a Walmart really quickly if needed. Food wise, there wasn't much at the pool bar for people w/ food restrictions. Example, I'm dairy free currently and found that it was just easier to leave property for food. One staff member at the pool bar (didn't catch the name) was also a bit short when trying to ask for help/recommendations. We had asked if they had a menu/list of the ingredients/allergens or knew what on the menu was dairy free. The male employee huffed and puffed, had an annoyed look on his face, pointed out hummus, and told us we'd have to just look through the menu, decide what we want and then they could tell us if it's dairy free or not. Just my opinion but I feel like that would be a waste of everybody's time to keep going back and forth on the food items. I did appreciate the menu had some markings for I believe it was vegetarian? But unfortunately I'm dairy free so that's a different thing I have to look out for. The pool bar area was not busy at all, there was only one other family in the back corner and one man sitting at the bar so I felt the annoyance/attitude from the employee was a bit unneeded but to make things easier and not bother anybody, I decided to just wait until the rest of my party was done with the pool area and went off property later to eat. The other staff members there were very kind though and even offered to turn on the heaters for us because it had randomly started downpouring (typical Florida) and we were soaking wet in bathing suits trying to warm up the baby in our group.

This property has free shuttles to Disney World and with reservations in place we had no problems what so ever. The shuttle driver’s were excellent and helped me load my scooter. I highly recommend this property for your next visit to Disney World.

Gym is outdated with a beat up multi-machine and missing dumbbell sets. Pool area needs a refresh. Chairs are torn up and ripped. Kid's area in need of repairs. Trash cans overflowing throughout property. Alerted front desk to condition of the one machine and missing dumbbells in the gym and they could have cared less. Just said sorry. Again, resort fees get you NOTHING.

My room this tripnexceeded my expectations this has been my 3rd stay—Disney magic kicked in the moment I opened my door on the 19th floor, with breathtaking views of EPCOT fireworks. I did not like that every time I walked through the lobby area, I was approached by the Wyndham time-share people (they had a desk on each side of the lobby so you are unable to avoid them). I also didn't appreciate being told during check-in that I received a free gift from Wyndham and could collect it at one of the desks. Not knowing that this desk was a time share gimmick and was stuck there for 20 minutes listening to their spill and unable to just walk away. Very disappointing. Other than this, the property was great. I will not be back due to the constant sales gimmick.

This property is very close to Disney Springs with shopping, restaurants, entertainment and easy parking. Our room wasn't ready for check in at 4 pm and we had to wait. The housekeeping staff started knocking on doors at 8 am in the hallway. Bummer for us late risers.

Short walking distance from Disney Springs was perfect The staff needs some serious customer service training ( except for Bell service, they were outstanding. No issues with house keeping ). Two employees were arguing in front of customers at the front desk, did not receive the blue welcome bag per usual at checkin as others received. When I asked later, the man handed me a bottle of water to share between my husband and myself. He was very short and rude with his responses. One bartender was extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. A much different experience and vibe than I had back in December. For that reason I would hesitate ever coming back Good customer service makes a difference. For their customers’ sake, I hope employees improve their attitude and service

I stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to Disney Springs. I loved just coming out door and you were right st Disney Springs. I did not use pool or eat at hotel. It all looked great but was only there for 1night. Check in was easy. Staff was great & room was clean

The location near Disney Springs was ideal, and the shuttle buses to Disney World were very convenient. The kiddie pool was thoughtfully designed, and the buffet breakfast was an excellent value. I wish the property had a playground for kids. Unfortunately, the ovens at the Oasis poolside restaurant were broken during part of our stay. The food and items in the marketplace area were overpriced, which was surprising since the restaurant prices were fair.

We had been at Disney for 10 days when we got stuck an extra three days due to a blizzard back home. We transferred from a Disney resort to the Wyndham for our extra nights and were so happy we did. We took advantage of the pool bar and restaurant as well as the convenient location just a 5 minute walk from Disney Springs. The price is reasonable but the feel is luxurious and staff are very friendly and helpful. We moved two families with 7 people under unexpected stressful circumstances and ended up getting an end-of-vacation vacation we didn’t know we needed. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone heading to Disney or the Disney area.

When I was trying to reserve the shuttle to the parks, it asked for a promo code. I ended up asking a guy at guest services and he said they usually give that to you when you check in. He handed me a few pamphlets (we never received them when checking in). He was extremely kind and gave us further information about the parks.

Hotel is outdated. Rooms are musty, dusty and crusty. Meaning, shower grout is crumbling, chair in the room was tattered. Carpet was thread bare.

Our room had dried urine on the bottom of the toilet upon arrival. The bathtub was peeling very bad so our young kids couldn’t use the tub. Our room stayed very warm and would allow us to adjust it below 68. Our tv also glitched the entirety of our stay. While myself and my two sons were sleeping we had someone enter our room the morning of checkout although we were granted a 12pm check out. The pool was nice and it was convenient to Disney springs. Parking was very overpriced at $30 a night for an unsecured lot.

If you have a mobile scooter even worse. The price on Expedia looks great but (don’t be fooled) there were a lot of hidden fees, that you have know idea till you checked in. My Balance was 1017.00 for 2 rooms after all said and done my balance was 1600.00 And They charged you 30.00 a day for parking which is way too high since all other hotels charge 20.00. Very frustrating. Will never book through Expedia again. Or stay at this hotel again. And will write and tell everybody on social media, beware of hidden fees. Learn from my experience.

Great location, amazing views of the Epcot fireworks and Disney Springs if you’re in the tower. Avoid the cafe downstairs w the gas station quality pizza (undercooked and tasteless). Better to get DoorDash or Uber Eats instead. Hard sell once you check in by the Wyndham Vacation Club guys that can’t take a hint that you just want to go to your room and unpack and rest after a long travel day. Would stay here again despite all this. Perfect start for a disney vacation esp if you do a split stay and transfer to a Disney resort after your Disney Springs and outlet shopping

The room view looked out onto the top of lower levels and was messy. They should not even sell those rooms. I asked for different room but front desk was stubborn even to the point of suggesting we go to another hotel. Not a good experience.

We reserved a king bed but walked into what looked like a double but was probably a small queen. We were not told it was not a king. The bathroom had a dirty hand print on the door. And the toilet paper roll was too big for the dispenser and kept falling off. There was a new one so far away that you had to lift off the toilet to reach it. They did take off the resort fee when we checked out to make up for the bed. Wouldn’t stay again.

The room mattresses were very uncomfortable. They were sinking down! We had a totally off three rooms and out of the three rooms all three had bad mattresses.

The beds only had sheets instead of a sheet and a blanket. I know it is Florida, but January in Florida is still a bit cold. I slept in sweats to stay warm enough. It was hard to find a sweet spot on the thermostat. The room was either cold or very hot. The lobby and convenience store were nice and it was nice that there was bus transportation to the theme parks.

Room was spotless. Everyday they came in and gave us clean towels and our bed! Having a long day and coming back to a frsshly made bed was absolutely amazing. This hotel was a 10/10. Room was great, clean. Lobby was large, clean and a 24/7 store with everything I needed. We used the massage chairs that were wonderful after walking all day. We will stay here again 100%

Staff was good and polite. But they did it again. In 2014 for a vacation and business trip I stayed in that hotel for 21 days. They gave me an old room located outside the main building, I have to talked to the manager and then they changed my room. This time they gave me the room 7010, located in the 7th floor with a horrible view to a roof for those old rooms outside the main building. Definitely Inwill never stay in this hotel again, and I Will talk to my colleagues and friends to never stay in the Wyndham hotel, and probably I won’t be using Expedia anymore to book hotels, I will be booking directly with the hotels.

Hotel is a great option for easy access to Disney Springs! That’s why we chose this hotel. Staff is amazing and very friendly. Housekeeping is on point, cleans well, and always provides towels and clean linen. A couple of issues though; first, heater in one of the adjoining rooms wasn’t working. Florida experienced a minor freeze while we were there so things were a little uncomfortable. Second, adjoining door was stuck but was easily resolved with a maintenance call. Lastly, there aren’t many drawers. We were there for 11 days and it made things challenging getting ready to get ready for the parks. No one likes living out of a suitcase for more than a couple of days. Other than that, this hotel is in a heavily populated area and you can see the wear and tear from all previous guests. Definitely needs a refresh, but still worth the conveniences. I did want to mention one last thing. This hotel is part of the Disney partnership which means early access to all 4 parks.

For our entire stay, the TV continuously flashed messages “weak signal” and lost connection. The TV was not usable at all. We reported it to the front desk agent, and she said it was a known problem but “was not allowed to report it.” Shocking. We also noticed that the TV at the lobby bar worked fine at all times during our stay. What is probably more troubling is that we had this exact same problem with our TV over our entire stay at this hotel this last March. We stay at this hotel 2-3 times per year. Since it seems that this hotel knowingly cheats its guests out of services that it claims to provide and all guests should expect, then it appears pretty clear that we should stay at the Hilton across the street. We’ve stay there several times in the past, and they have never knowingly cheated or deceived us from services that we have paid for with our accommodations.

The ridiculously loud A/C unit in our room ruined what would’ve been a perfect stay here. I couldn’t sleep at night it was so loud. My family and I have stayed here many times in the past with no issues. We almost always pick this hotel whenever we visit Orlando for its perfect location (5 minute walk to Disney Springs), clean and well kept building and the rooms are cleaned everyday. Friendly staff and I didn’t even mind the upselling. I’m just surprised at the level of noise the A/C in our room. Disappointing experience this time.

When I turned on the hair dryer, the power immediately tripped, then the dryer broke completely.There was also a pre-set alarm clock that kept going off and could not be turned off, except by unplugging it, which seriously disrupted my rest. I couldn’t imagine how could above bad experiences happened in one place!

Great location, good service and overall good rooms and amenities - however, anti slip bath mats for tubs are INDISPENSABLE and not provided. Our minifridge was luke warm and the hairdryer was not working. Shuttle service worked well and was punctual. Coffee in lobby has all essentials.

We had not yet checked out and I went back up to our room after packing the car and the cleaning staff had already started cleaning and threw out over $100 worth of food we had just bought. The front desk was not receptive and said even though we were not yet checked out in the system it is policy to discard food if the cleaning staff starts cleaning on the day of checkout. The manager also refused to speak with me about the matter.

This hotel is definitely worth the money. Transportation was easy to reserve and locate. Very convenient. The only setback is that the shuttles only run from 7am-5pm and fill up pretty quick so it’s best to reserve as soon as you check-in, prior too if you can. But overall a great stay if you’re looking to budget and find an affordable hotel stay.

The bus transportation is really easy and reliable! They can even transfer ECV Scooters which was fantastic. It’s a nice and easy walk to Disney Springs. We will absolutely be back!

Our stay was wonderful from the time of check in, right up until now. Last night tonight. Right from front desk, bellmen...everyone was great. We even had a call and a text when our room was ready. We had stayed here a few times, and it was like comong home. Only down fall was Sylvia from the Wyndham time share desk. I know they have to be pushy. But she was not nice at all. Other than her...all the staff is wonderful. We will definitely be back.

Stayed in a tower room which was big and clean and i loved the proximity to Disney Springs. This an older hotel though and i may have just been unfortunate in terms of room location but i could her clanking noises all night which i assume were from the lift, the aircon was super noisy when it kicked in and there seems to be minimal sound insulation. It did the job but glad i was only there for one night. I also didnt appreciate being given the hard sell to spend 2 hours attending what i assume was a timeshare presentation on the last day of my holiday

Rooms need some updating but overall we enjoy this hotel with the disney view and the luxury of being so close to Disney Springs. Staff is mostly friendly I just dislike that they try to push you to do a timeshare meeting right when you checkin. Aint nobody got time for that! 😆

I was worried about the shuttle filling up but 0 issues and it was fantastic (it either went directly to the park or only stopped at 1 additional park). Coffee shop in the lobby, a 24 hr medical/travel item vending machine was actually needed for a sick toddler...had a Target delivery of grocery items delivered for our 5 night stay. Overall, just a wonderful experience at this property!

I did not find out until the day of our stay that I needed the credit card holder to sign an authorization form. My mother purchased the hotel for me as a gift, so we had to jump through many hoops to get checked in. It was very inconvenient and took up our valuable time at Disney.

The hotel no longer offers valet parking. In stead of unloading the car and heading to check-in now must unload the car, park the automobile in a temporary spot, go back to check in, obtain a parking pass, return to automobile and drive to parking lot, walk back to hotel. The hotel charges a similar amount to self park as it did to valet park.

Nice clean property a a great price but everything just felt tired and worn. We stayed during the holiday season. Being so close to Disney, we expected holiday decorations to be over the top but they were just average and appeared several years old and cheap.

Our room was close to the elevator bay so it could be somewhat noisy at times. Room was comfortable and clean. Pool was large and clean. Hot tub was a welcome amenity in the evening!

Our room on the 17th floor was perfect! It was the perfect size for just the two of us, my wife and I. We had a great view of the fireworks every night from our window! The bed was really comfortable, as were the pillows. And the room was very clean. Nothing fancy. But that's really all we need...a clean, comfortable room. I would highly recommend giving this place a try on your next trip to Disney! (And only a five or six minute walk to Disney Springs!)

The check in process was odd. I pulled up to the front and get out of the car to go get a parking pass and the gate code and I’m told I cannot leave my car under the covered area. You know like you do at any hotel anywhere. I’m directed to pull very far forward and parallel park. When do I am then told I’m in a fire lane and have to hand over my keys while I go inside in case they need to move my car. I didn’t like doing it but I didn’t really have another option. I’m then directed to the parking lot after check in but never told anything about the elevators or how to get back from the parking lot. The second star is only there because the staff was nice.

Difficult check in as parking rates in my confirmation email weren’t honoured at first. Starts the trip off on a bad note. Room was very cold and aircon in heat mode was too loud to leave on overnight. Location is first rate. Ate at lobby bar and food was lukewarm and I was served flat prosecco. I don’t get a welcoming feel from this hotel for some reason

From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Shelton and Marcus from Bell Service/Valet really stood out—Shelton’s personality is fantastic. We were both exhausted from a long travel day, but after just a few minutes talking with him, our moods completely turned around and we felt ready for vacation. The hotel was spotless and smelled fresh, and our room on the 19th floor was clean with a great view. The poolside grille was another pleasant surprise—the food was excellent, especially the loaded nachos and the passion fruit non-alcoholic drink. Honestly, their food was better than most of the quick-service or poolside options within the Disney resorts. The pool itself was also one of the nicest in the area, especially for families with kids. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Orlando/Disney area. Perfect location, great staff, and a really enjoyable stay from start to finish.

Friendly staff and perfect location for Disney Springs. Rooms are clean and bed is very comfortable. One downside is the noise. When you’re in your room you can hear everything in the hallways and the elevator noises. The bathroom pipes make gurgling noises, after you flush the toilet it sounds like the water is going to come up the tub drain.

The hotel itself was fine. Our a/c was cold and the location across from Disney Springs is awesome. However, beware of the hidden fees. My stay cost me about 100.00ish dollars more than what I thought due to all extra fees.

My only area for improvement in the room was the shower. No fan, moldy spots on the ceiling, and intense water pressure. But did the job. Less than 5 min walk to Disney springs. Totally accessible for strollers/wheelchairs (elevators). Literally off the hotel property, up some stairs (or elevator), and across a skybridge. And boom. You’re there. 10/10 shuttle service to the parks. Super easy QR code to scan and book a shuttle time. Free code to waive fees. Was reliable and mostly on time. Easy pick up at the end of the night as well. Didn’t know the first day that there were 2 shuttles (one for Epcot/MK) and the other for AK and HS. Once we figured that out, smooth sailing. Rodney is a fabulous driver. 100% would stay here again and would recommend to friends/family. We did NOT use the pool, restaurants, arcade, or bar, but all were available.

​The hotel's shuttle service to the parks is a huge plus, running reliably every hour. The pool and restaurant area are also fantastic, with a great atmosphere and comfortably warm water. ​The only real downside was the Wi-Fi. While staying in the main building on the top floor, I found streaming services like Disney+ and Netflix constantly buffered, so it could definitely use an upgrade. ​Despite the minor Wi-Fi issue, I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Disney parks.

We have stayed here 3 times and really enjoy this hotel. The staff is friendly and the pool is wonderful. There are several options for dining and snacking and the hotel is walkable to Disney Springs. Transportation to the parks is pretty convenient and runs every hour - not quite as good as if you stay at a Disney resort but works fine for us.

We always start off our Orlando trip at Wyndham Lake Buena Vista. We drive from NJ so we are always pretty tired when we roll in. WLBV always has speedy, efficient and personable check in. Our rooms are always clean and cool which we love. Being a Good Neighbor hotel for Walt Disney World is also a big draw. You're very close to Disney Springs. There are tons of restaurants in both DS and the surrounding area. Parking does cost money but the lots generally have plenty of spots.

I recently started staying at the Drury fir multiple reasons. Even though they charge a little more per night, it’s still cheaper to stay there. No resort fees, free buffet style breakfast and dinner and breakfast starts at 6am.

Stayed there before in December of 24… this time had issues w the elevators not working!! Staff didnt seem to care much when i mentioned it.. pool was nice not as warm as Disney property pools.. pool bar staff friendly.. liked the tip included in at bar and being able to charge to room.. but unlike disney resorts.. NO USB ports to charge phones… bathroom has NO fan and seems outdated , tub was chipped and rooms are ok for the price and walking to Disney springs but i think this will be our LAST stay here and off property .. amenities are better at Disney owned hotels

Clean comfortable room but paper thin walls and big 2 inch gap under door. Had AC set to 73 and woke up to the room being 67…brr! You could hear babies crying from down the hall and everyone’s conversations if out in the hallway or rooms next door. Not much can be done to rectify that on 55 year old Hotel.

We haven't been here in a few years but this time, the room was beginning to show its age. The AC unit in the room wasn't working properly. They tried to fix it but the coldest it would get was about 71 degrees. First world problems, I know, but when its 98 degrees in Florida, in august, you want the room to be comfortable and it simply wasn't.

This hotel has become my go-to for a Disney Adjacent property. Great pool and great service.

We stay at this hotel quite frequently and love it so much, our only complaint was that the shower just about scalded my daughter several times even though we had it on cold :(. My only complaint!

Overall, really good stay. Room wasn't ready by 4 so had to sit in the lobby for a while. Rude counter said "Well, when people leave, we cannot clean all the rooms at once". Advised him to hire more people. I asked if I could leave for checkout whenever I want since they can't clean all the rooms at the same time. He said, it doesn't work like rhat. 🤔

Great stay as always. Stayed in tower for 2 nights at the end of our week long vacation. Room was clean and comfy. AC worked amazing! End of July in FL, IYKYK! View was great and overlooked springs! Pool was a great cool off spot with plenty of spots to choose from.

Overall our experience was OK. Substantial resort fee that does not include parking nor a free breakfast. All the resorts in the area have shuttles and pools and don’t charge such a high fee. Some don’t even charge a fee and you even get breakfast. Hotel is dated, old carpets like the hallways, paint pealing off bathroom doors, stained tubs/showers. We did love the pool area and poolside bar/restaurant.

Arrived at 15:00 and told us that check in is at 16:00 but at 16:00 told us room was not ready until 16:30!

Great stay for a quick last hurrah before heading back to work for the new school year. Hit both water parks at Disney and the room was ao convenient for cooling off and resting in the heat of the day. Plus, convenience to Disney Springs was a plus!
