Reviews
Guests generally express satisfaction with the hotel's location, cleanliness, and staff friendliness. The proximity to Disney Springs and the availability of transportation to Disney parks are frequently mentioned as positives. However, some guests express dissatisfaction with the comfort of the beds, the quality of room service, and the long wait times for transportation to the parks.
- Convenient location, especially for accessing Disney Springs
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Uncomfortable beds in some rooms
- Long wait times for transportation to the parks
- 5/5
The villa was very clean and spacious. The only drawbacks to this resort are the dining options or lack of and the location of the pools. Both require long walks. The villa had a fully equipped kitchen if you prefer to cook. Bus transportation was good however busses can fill up at peak travel times. And it takes a good 20 minutes to get to the parks. Walking distance to the Springs.

Property was excellent in all ways
- 5/5
I enjoyed the property
- 5/5
Love it was walking distance from Disney springs. Pool was fun and clean! Used gold and gym, were great!!!
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Wonderful staff. Great location
- 5/5
Lovely hotel, great staff, we were placed in The Carousel so couldn't have been further away from everything but peak holiday season and we arrived late in the evening and weren't staying for long so took it on the chin.
- 5/5
I prefer being at a property with access to the monorail. The food options were not premium.

There's nothing to dislike about this hotel!! I just wish I had more time to stay!!
- 5/5
Shower had very little water pressure. There is no room service.
- 5/5
One pool and restaurant was closed which was closest to our room.
- 4/5
Our room was I rested with misquotes
- 3/5
Also very disappointed in the Turf Club. Waited almost hour before our waiter showed up. He was very nice but food was just so so. Definitely would not return.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel, extremely friendly staff nothing is too much for them would highly recommend.. we stayed in the 2 bedroom villa and it’s so spacious with lots close by
- 5/5
Beautiful and quiet
- 5/5
Nice accommodation with a very comfortable bed. Excellent access to Disney parks.
- 5/5
Love everyone and everything. Have nothing bad to say at all
- 5/5
The coffee was a little weak in the Artist's Palette but if that is my only complaint, then you know things were great!
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The entire resort was tidy and well kept.
- 3/5
Treehouses are awesome. Plenty of room and space and it is quiet which is the best. The pool was perfect. However, the treehouses need some updating (at least the one we stayed at). Issues with the AC kept us up. Some of the vents made noises throughout the night. The pillows were laughable. And there was no way to change the speed of the ceiling fans, not sure why they removed the switch. So, that is why I gave these an ok. They are beautiful, but need some tlc as far as comfort and sleep quality goes.
- 3/5
First room at Saratoga Springs had bed bugs visible on the bed when we walked in. They did accommodate us with a different room. Unfortunately Disney has lost a step. Rotting boards on bottom of buildings. One light in the entry had rusted through and was hanging out the bottom of the fixture. Noticable trashWasn't aware that they are now going into your room daily. This policy was a result of the Vegas shooting. Seems like an overeach given the amount of failures prior to that incident. Mandalay Bay had a similar policy prior to the incident. They knock once before entry, but if you're in the shower I guess you put on a peep show. Just not an authentic pleasant experience. Don't waste your money on the parks until they are back to full staff. Sick of Disney caving to the mob also. The only positive was no masks anywhere unless you are on Disney transportation.
- 4/5
The rooms are refurbished and currently in great condition. There are multiple pools to use and several bus pickups throughout the resort. The downfall is that the walking distance to the main building and activity area is extensive, especially if you are traveling with small children. I also think that the food selections could have been better. There were few choices at the main grab and go restaurant. The staff were all friendly and helpful during our stay.
- 5/5
We stayed here to celebrate 2 graduations in the family. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was fantastic and gave us everything we needed during our 5 night stay. The only negative thing about this property was bus transportation to the parks was very slow. Other than this, it was fantastic!
- 5/5
Poor dining options
- 4/5
Very nice property..very large and a bit confusing though..overall a very nice stay
- 5/5
Great staff!!! Great location!!!
- 4/5
I liked the proximity to Disney Springs and the fact that I had a full fridge, oven, stove, microwave, washer, dryer and dishwasher in my room. They aren't as many amenities as the Disney resort that we usually go to and the Arcades are closed, but we made good use of the available amenities. Nice fitness center.
- 5/5
Great deluxe studio with view for a third of the usual price!
- 4/5
The property was absolutely beautiful and we are huge Disney fans but the transportation to and from the hotel to the parks and Disney springs was horrible. Extremely long sometimes waiting an hour. Our hotel consistently had long lines compared to other hotels. A number of times you would find people so frustrated they were yelling. Just be prepared to wait or take an Uber since no water taxis to Disney springs.
- 5/5
No
- 4/5
Three knocks on our door before 9 am by staff. Rooms need updated.
- 1/5
Old furniture. Parking fee you have to drive to your own room with plenty of parking. Rude front desk. Dirty room. Trash in baskets

Landscaping on the property very well kept. The pool area are also well kept.
- 4/5
Great sized room with kitchenette, not a fan of sinks not being in the bathroom. Annoying both received a call and someone knocking on the door during nap time with the do not disturb sign on the door.
- 5/5
I love this resort! It actually feels like home!
- 5/5
Excellent service and nice clean and comfy room with plenty of space. Would recommend

gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
- 5/5
Love staying here. Just a lovely resort. I think the rooms need some updating, they seem a bit dated. They are clean, of course. Easy access to Disney Springs, plenty of buses around the clock to the other parks. It is quite a bit expensive, but if you are 6 people as we were, the deal is not so bad since you get 2 full bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette.

Besides not finding out my room was ready finally by 7 PM. It was a good stay
- 5/5
This property was stunningly beautiful with exceptional customer service.
- 5/5
Terrific service. Very clean. Wish the room service options were better. Only 1 option of Italian with very limited menu.
- 5/5
We loved our stay here. Although this is a Disney Vacation Club resort, we were able to stay without being members or renting points. The theme & decor are Not Disney and classical music played in all non-room buildings (i.e. reception, restaurants). We only made it to one of the 4 pools but they all looked great. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.
- 3/5
Placed in a ADA complaint room. Everything was very short and I’m very tall. We payed a very high price for a premium view room and was disappointed in room selected for my anniversary weekend.
- 5/5
Nice hotel.....lots and lots of room.....really nice area with easy access to Disney Springs.
- 5/5
Beautiful, excellent location . The property was expansive right next to Disney Springs
- 5/5
First time visiting, Large resort, great bell services and housekeeping. Requested room near bus and this was great! The 1 bedroom villa was outstanding! Well stocked and huge. Very welcoming!
- 5/5
The hotel and staff were amazing. From the landscaping team to the management, they were so kind and genuinely happy that it made my stay more enjoyable. The grounds are beautiful and lined with a lovely golf course.
- 5/5
Comfortable beds, good shower, very clean, friendly staff, great location for walking to Disney Springs
- 5/5
Relaxing property with lovely villas for families. I loved that
- 4/5
this resort is getting ready to be refurbished rooms are looking tired
- 4/5
On problem was a long bus ride to anywhere and two of the bus drivers were real jerks. The remainder of the drivers were great. Kind of puts a little bit of a downer on things.
- 3/5
I attempted to check in online but it would not let me. Upon arrival checking took approximately 15 minutes. Overall the resort is nice but check in process could be sped up.
- 5/5
Great resort! Rooms were spacious and clean. So much to do at the resort you don’t even need to go to the parks. Walking distance to Disney Springs or you can take the boats which are fun too. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Staff very helpful and knowledgeable . Clean and fresh rooms.
- 5/5
Very good stay. Great space in the two bedroom villa. Must advise to ask to be close to the main check-in building as that’s where so many activities are going on. The pool is fantastic and the Spa, which I didn’t get to, is on my list of “next to do”!
- 5/5
extraordinary service by staff i love this home away from home
- 5/5
Amazing, simply loved it, clean, cosy, didn’t want to leave.
- 5/5
We always stay in the Congress Park Area, walking distance to Disney Springs, Pools and Front Desk. Buses run on time, facility is very clean.

- 5/5
Nice hotel, everything was clean and well kept. Had the two bedroom suite which was very spacious. Only a quick walk to Disney Springs which was great.
- 5/5
The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was responsive and friendly.
- 5/5
Saratoga Springs is spectacular! Jeff the duty manager was so helpful and generally cared about my opinions. I will be staying again as soon as possible!
- 5/5
Great experience. Convenient to Disney parks - free boat to Disney Springs and buses to parks included with stay. Great family activities in the resort including pool, biking, basketball and tennis. They have 2 and 4 person bikes - lots of fun. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Beautiful resort with excellent pools. We stayed in the Carosel section. The room was perfect and the cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. It was .75 mile walk to Artists Pallete to eat breakfast. It was 1.5 mile walk to Disney Springs. The resort is sprawling, but so pretty. We enjoyed the walking as the weather was fantastic. But, beware that long walks are required at this resort. The Disney transportation to the parks was wonderful.
- 5/5
This was absoutly perfect for our family on all levels. From customer service, to location, cleanliness everything. This is the only place my family stays when we visit Disney.
- 5/5
Staff outstanding. Rooms very clean . Bed very comfortable. Large enough for family or two couples. Wish had more closest space Needed larger closest space. Disney bus transportation was running way behind schedule. LONG WAITS, NOT ENOUGH BUS CAST MEMBERS
- 5/5
We are a family of 6. The two bedroom villa was large and gave us plenty of room to sleep and hang out together.
- 5/5
Saratoga Springs is huge. If you have trouble walking do not stay here. If you love shopping, this is the place for you. Short walk or nice boat ride to Disney Springs. We usually stay at Boardwalk Villas so we can walk to Epcot or boat to Hollywood. Must say we never waited long for the busses, but it still takes a while to get to where you want to go. We were a family of 5 and the two bedrooms and 2 baths were awesome. We could all be together with privacy if needed. All in all, would recommend taking into consideration the above.
- 4/5
We stayed 4 nights and went to parks 3 days. Bus service available to all of the parks, about every 20 minutes. We would stay there again.
- 5/5
Expensive but worth it. Arrived late and the hotel staff was expecting us and very friendly. Definitely recommend the hotel and especially the TreeHouse Villas
- 3/5
There were no proper dishes or glasses in the room and for as much as we'd paid for the stay was very insulted by the only paper and styrofoam in-room options. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and the windows and doors to the outside fogged completely the entire stay, leaving no view. Furthermore, when we called for room service at 10pm were transferred to a local spot but upon delivery learned that it was Pizza Hut which was, as a New Yorker, VERY insulting. We love Disney but overall the experience was really disappointing. Had I not stayed elsewhere I'd have no point of comparison but the reality is this stay was exorbitant with no pay off.
- 4/5
The resort grounds were beautiful, with several swimming pools, gardens and ponds. The resort’s Artist’s Palette Restaurant was nothing special. You would do better to walk over to Disney Springs or take the resort boat and eat at one of the many dining options there. Bus service was slow and the Springs bus stop was the last, resulting in many buses too full to board. We solved this problem by walking over to the Paddock bus station to board. Since it was the third stop, it usually had enough room. Our longest wait for a bus was 45 minutes and it wasn’t unusual to wait 20 to 30 minutes at times. Bus service could definitely use improvement. Overall, the resort is nice; we would stay again
- 5/5
It’s the sixth time we have stayed at Saratoga springs it never disappoints , it’s so easy to walk over to Disney springs then catch the free water taxi back
- 5/5
We went for a birthday and loved all of it. We really loved the race start sound on the hour that was played.
- 4/5
The Saratoga property was beautiful and we stayed in the paddock set of buildings. I would suggest this set of buildings as it was right next to the paddock pool, grill, drink refill station and a very sorry walk to the bus stop to all Disney properties and the boats to Disney springs. Very convenient. Only about 5-10 minute walk to the springs set buildings, pool, check in and the artists palette (which is the main restaurant). The pools were great for small children (we had a 20 month old) and adults alike. The maid service wad great and even picked up and organized the mess we left each day. Bonus that they put his toys on the bed and couch like the were sitting there. Only real complaint was the service on Friday night and Saturday, there was a 2 hour wait on Friday at around 845pm to get in room delivery (after 20+ minutes on hold) and then at check out to get bell services it was at least an 80 minute wait to get help with bags at checkout on Saturday. I understand they are busy, but how they're not staffed when they know there's a lot of incoming and outgoing customers is a bit of a head scratcher. Needless to say we skipped the in room delivery. Had to lug 6 bags, child, and stroller ourselves as we wanted to shop and they didn't leave us really any options. Couldn't just leave the bags for pickup, had to stay in room until they got there. A real pain asy the end of a great well otherwise, bad last immersion.
- 5/5
We learned that staying at a Disney Resort is a must! Saratoga Springs was amazing. We were able to eat breakfast in room everyday before we went to Disney parks. Bought groceries and basically had lunch and dinnner out. Disney transportation system is unbelievable. We could walk, take bus or boat to Disney Srpings downtown area. Direct express bus to all the Parks. Amazing staff and the room was great with very nice pull out sofa bed for kids and king bed in 1 room Villa. Laundry and whirlpool tub in room. Pool was great with beer and food delivery and plenty of seating, slides for kids. Manager gave us additional 2 anytime Fast Pass for rides we could not book. It made all the difference for our visit to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. We had early magic hours both days at parks since we were at Disney resort. We're able to start rides 8-9 before mass of people arrived. We finished 3 rides each day without fast pass before 9 am. This alone made staying at Disney Reaort worth it. I highly recommmend. Orlandonitself was amazing and we will be back. There were tons of parks and attractions we did not fort to enjoy.
- 4/5
The first night I was there some of the staff was somewhat a little rude and taken back that I requested a sponge and thought I was sleeping on the pull out in the living room. Told them no, I was sleeping on the king bed and it was the most uncomfortable bed I've slept on that I could feel the box springs pushing into my skin. They seemed so flabbergasted I would even request a sponge to sleep on their king in my room. I finally received my sponge but the following nights I had to request them for the queens as my mom couldn't sleep on them either, but I didn't have a problem getting the sponges then. The sponges made the beds tolerable enough to sleep for about 6-8 hours each night. That was the only bad experience I had at Saratoga Springs. I don't know if the beds in the rest of the rooms are like that but ours in my 2 bedroom villa were. If I do go back to Disney World, I would stay there again and maybe get more comfortable beds next time.
- 5/5
Amazing property. Love it!
- 4/5
the bathroom configuration was odd for the one bedroom villa. Otherwise it was a good place
- 4.5/5
this hotel seemed further away than some of the other disney hotels.... the shuttle seemed to take a really long time from the parks - we would wait for upwards of 30 minutes each time and then depending on the stop the full trip would take about an hour
- 5/5
The resort was beautiful and although my room was not ready when I arrived, the front desk immediately found me another room that was available. I was most unhappy that I accidentally left my I-phone charger and 2 hair brushes. I called within an hour of leaving and was transferred to lost and found. That department was closed and I left a voice mail. They did not return my call so I called again and was told nothing had been turned in. Very disappointing!! Must have dishonest employees!
- 4/5
This hotel needs some upgrading in furnishings but wasn't too bad. Lovely grounds, and good bus service and boat rides to Disney Springs. I wish the 1 bedroom condos had to toilets, seeing as there are two sinks and two bathing options.
- 4/5
Overall, the Saratoga Springs Resort was pretty good. The lobby and restaurant/breakfast area was very nice. However, the rooms felt a little dated although clean. The bed was very uncomfortable and gave me a negative feel because I kept waking up with a backache. The Artist Palette had a good selection for breakfast but was quite expensive.
- 4/5
Our only real problem was with check-in. We arrived late (after 11pm), and after a long day of traveling. Our magic bands, which we had pre-ordered and had been shipped to our home, did not work, so the front desk had to collect and reprogram them. We had ordered food from Amazon to be delivered to the hotel in advance of our arrival. The front desk could not find the packages. We waited nearly 30 minutes for them to look, but they kept coming back and telling us they were not there (even though we had received emails from Amazon telling us they had been delivered). We finally went right outside to the Bell Desk and asked them, and they walked right back into the hotel and retrieved them. The transportation system worked well, and we rarely waited more than 10 minutes for a bus to the theme parks. The next time, however, we will stay at a resort closer to Epcot or the MK, even if we end up paying a bit more.
- 1/5
Horrible hotel, had to be moved 4 times. Mold in bathroom shower. The couch was broke. I am a DVC member and I was absolutely disappointed with this hotel.
- 4/5
Saratoga Spings is a very nice resort. It is centrally located.
- 3/5
Rooms a bit dated but fine. Great for families.
- 4/5
This facility is massive and can be confusing to find the check in and the pools. Staff was very good and very welcoming. The bus system was good and getting a room near one of the bus stops is very helpful. Video boards at the stops let you know when the next bus to your destination will arrive.
- 5/5
It was great place to stay. Nice and clean. Beautiful views. Timeliness if buses to and from parks. Easy to find rooms. Golf range was beautiful. Love the amenities in the room. Rooms were spacious. Rooms far enough from all entertainment so your family doesn't have to be disturbed. Great great great great great great great great great great excellent excellent excellent excellent excellent excellent
- 5/5
We had a two-bedroom suite - plenty of room for our family of six adults. Loved the pool - great slide!
- 4/5
Beautiful property
- 5/5
great location within the resort close to the main building, pool and bus stop, great room, the set up the room was great for myself and daughter.
- 4/5
Loved the location - near the pool and bus transportation.
- 5/5
Saratoga Springs was our second stay on property at Disney. Our stay was wonderful! We will return soon!
- 5/5
Husband and I had a weekend away without kids with activities focused around Disney Springs. Our room was on the Dis. Springs end of the resort so walking to and from DS was very convenient. Love the full size coffee maker in the room. Make sure you get or bring coffee and filters!
- 5/5
We have stayed at Saratoga Springs four times now. We are never disappointed.
- 5/5
Once again Disney came through. We have been to Disney World so many times and yes have enjoyed it always....but just when you think yep another great vacation because we love it here how can it possibly get any better.... it does! We stayed at Saratoga Springs for the first time and must say it was GREAT! Room was a great size, location couldn't be better and close to Disney Springs. We will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Weekend getaway to see La Nouba our one bedroom villa was wonderful, view was great, transportation buses were close and was a nice walk to water taxi, Disney Springs is close and easy access, buses take you to all the parks and Disney Springs, villa was clean and comfortable even had washer and dryer, enjoyed resort pizza delivery to our room when it rained one evening, couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our weekend will definitely be back for a longer stay!
- 3/5
This is a huge property and not quite up to the Disney standards we expected. The floor in our room was all wet when we arrived from the in room mini fridge. Nothing terrible about the room, just not quite worth the money we spent.
- 5/5
The mattress was too soft.
- 4/5
Nice facility. Good parking, quiet. Unable to read as lighting was dim. Master bathroom no grab bar in narrow shower.
- 5/5
Not themed like other Disney resorts but very quiet and relaxing. You are a boat ride away from Disney Springs...or short walk. The Artists Pointe restaurant is ok; nothing special. The beds were very comfy. This is our favorite deluxe resort that we have stayed at thus far.
- 4/5
At the price (over $600 per night) and the hyperbole in the description I expected a full service hotel, not a spiffed up extended stay doubletree. Sorry, not my cup of tea. Bad decision.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel with great customer service! Will definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
I only received an email confirmation and no follow up on resort regarding park tickets, transportation, resort options. I had to call Expedia (hour on the line once call picked up) to get Disney Confirmation Number to log into My Disney to arrange tickets. No notices for this process. I had to initiate the process myself and only a week ahead of time. Collaboration/coordination between Expedia and Disney needs major work! I will only book through Disney directly from now on.
- 5/5
Only complaint was when I called Hotels.com, CS told me that we have not paid the reservation and when I insisted that our Treehouse Villa, was prepaid, she transferred me to EXPEDIA.COM.When I called again, the guy told me that Yes, it was showing as fully paid. The woman CS needs training Bad.
- 5/5
Close to Disney Springs. Easy walking distance.Clean & Friendly Service.
- 5/5
WE stayed at Congress Park which was the perfect location for a short walk to Downtown disney and to the Lynx bus stop. Views over Downtown Disney and the lake. Stunning.
- 5/5
Great Resort, great area. Loved the room product. Everything you need in a villa with kids.
- 4/5
The overall resort was great. They were very accomodating when we arrived early. The pools were nice and lots of activities for the kids. Downtown Disney was quite a walk if you are with young kids. Depending on where you room is located you may have a long walk to food court and shop. The food court could use more selections but overall pretty good.
- 4/5
Hotel offers 3 pools, they never felt too crowded, two small playgrounds and big room for children activities where kids can play with arts and crafts. Saratoga is very close to Disney Mall, can walk there in less then 10 min., hotel offer shuttle service to every Disney destination and runs on time.
- 4/5
My whole family enjoyed the wonderful facilities offered by Saratoga Springs specifically roasting marshmallows by the campfire and movie nights every evening. We were also pleased by the central location of the resort, which made getting to all the parks that much easier especially Disney Village. One thing I would suggest is a wider selection of food since not everyone wants flat breds, burgers, and a small selection of other sandwich. The Breakfast was well rounded so that was adequate. Overall all my family and I rated the resort 4 out of 5.
- 5/5
The worst part was our room not being ready when we arrived but we were able to check our bags and the kids could swim or we could have gone to the parks. The kids really enjoyed the pools and the community center. Movie nights by the pool were nice. (Wish I knew we could have borrowed movies from the community center sooner as rooms had a did player) Overall the rooms were comfortable and as expected. Would recommend and also would stay there again.
- 4/5
We visit Disney three times a year and normally stay at the Boardwalk. This trip we tried Saratoga Springs and I probably won't stay there again or recommend it. The bus system to the parks was continually messed up---45 minute wait one day for MK yet THREE buses to each of the other 3 parks had stopped at the bus stop. Bus rides were long, needs more restaurant choices and seems too removed from rest of Disney. On the upside staff was wonderful as usual, main pool super fun and walk to Downtown Disney short. Overall, a nice Disney resort hotel but too inconvenient for us
- 5/5
We were staying at single bedroom springs villa and very spacious and all the cooking and washing facility was available. Very big and well maintained swimming pool all the staffs are very cooperative and very pleasant. Very big area for jogging, cycling and golf club etc. Worth for spending and we recommend for families with small kids- Krishna Jegan
- 5/5
Grandparents, parents, and 20 month old had a wonderful trip. We had a two bedroom villa which allowed for down time for the baby and privacy. The resort is very spread out with lots of walking. The bus service was time consuming since even after we got a bus we had to make the loop of all the sections. The bell staff were fabulous. We used Magical Express, which was a great savings.
- 4/5
The hotel helped us select a room that best suited our needs. We were situated very close to the hotel amenities. Saratoga Springs was by far the quietest Disney hotel we have stayed at! Be sure to check out the pool and waterslide. Service will be the best if you clarify to the lobby host if you are a Vacation Club member.
- 4/5
Long walking distance to room. ICe machine very far from room. Restaurants were not close by the area where we stayed.
- 4/5
The villas were very comfortable and well equipped for our needs. Having a washer and dryer was a must with such hot temps in June. Pool was close to room 8103 and had bus stop that was first pick-up and drop-off for the parks. We enjoyed the whirlpool tub and separate shower also.
- 4/5
The hotel was really nice and the villa was spacious. The housekeeping staff was great and cleaned our rooms daily. The location was great and so close to Downtown Disney. The magic bands were very convenient and allowed us to go straight to our room without going to the front desk for check-in.
- 3/5
At first arrival the main facilities looked excellent unfortunately it turned out we were too far away from them to gain any benefit from them throughout our stay. The room was lovely well kept and clean but for a deluxe hotel I would expect a nicer bathroom with a bigger bath. The air con was very noisy and didn't work properly (it would not keep a sustained temperature so was always too hot or cold). The bath was extremely slow draining. The cleaner was great but no privacy tag was given to us and we were awoken at 7.45-8.15 the first two mornings of our stay on the third day we left a note and were then given a privacy card but we were still awoken by knocking on other guests doors the following day. To us a deluxe hotel would mean having access to facilities but we basically paid for a hotel with a pool where the nearest pool and facilities (e.g laundry/food) were too far to be convenient which is a shame. I don't think the hotel was designed with the individual user in mind. We were told we could pay for our magic band purchases when checking out but when we checked out we were told there was no balance to pay. When we got home it turned out that the purchases had been charged to our credit card before check out. We had specifically asked if we could pay this before leaving in cash when we checked in.
