It is very family friendly. If you have kids perfect place. If you do not want to be in close proximity to a lot of children then may not be for you, I didn’t have children but still enjoyed my stay and would still recommend.

The refurbishment of the room was really nice & it was clean. However the drapes are not blackout. They are short at the bottom and gapped at the top. If you are facing the parking lot prepare for that 7AM sunshine to come right on in. After the late til midnight parade and my son waking up with the sun… I needed to be laid to rest at The Haunted Mansion. Also NO WATERS! No complementary waters, just a vending machine outside with a SmartWater for $6.50! Less for a Dasani but ew. Didn’t like the smell of the body wash either but that’s whatever.

My son and I enjoyed our stay at the French Quarter. The room was well decorated and very clean. The staff was so kind and helpful! We loved the heated pool and the boat access to Disney Springs.

The resort was very nice, clean, had boat and bus shuttles to the Disney parks and attractions. The pool was quite large and plenty of areas for both kids and adults.

The friendly staff, great resort and extremely family friendly. The splash pad, pool and playground were a hit.

Not a fan of the food but that’s a personal preference

Were placed in a newly renovated room which was beautiful, the room was ready and we were able to check in even before our listed check in time, and everything went perfectly. It was a delightful stay.

We were unable to leave our room as the security bar was inoperative. My wife has claustrophobia, she was quite anxious for the feeling that we were locked in. We were late to our dinner reservations as well, due to this situation.

We have stayed at this hotel more than 20 - 25 times since 1993. It's our only "go to" and we feel at home here. A few thoughts, however, about our most recent visit: 1) A/C Unit fan was very noisy - it needs repair. 2) Food quality has gone down hill.

Bathroom is comically small

Love that this particular resort is smaller with one bus stop, New Orleans style theming is great, excellent food court, awesome staff, will definitely be returning!

Yes. The room was dirty on 3:30 checkin. We found sizable remnants of berry pasty left on the floor, towels just left loosely on one of the beds. The shampoo dispenser was rusted and broken. Shower level drifted to very hot and we were scalded several tim

Love the location and great area to stay on your Disney World vacation. Not a big resort which means closer rooms to food court and pool. The bus transportation to the park is great. Enjoyed boat ride to Disney Springs.

Like all Disney properties Port Orleans was clean and the rooms were nice albeit a tad dated. The staff was great and I love the convenience of staying on property and having transportation. I've never been disappointed staying on any Disney property!

We had a wonderful stay at Disney port Orleans french quarter. We picked it specifically because it’s the smallest out of the moderate price range of Disney hotels and it was quite easy to get the shuttles to and fro to Disney’s parks. We stayed in Building 4 which was an extremely short walk to the busses and to the main reception. Even though we had the least expensive of rooms available it still had little touches of Princess and the frog. The room was also ready at 9am like we requested, which we were very grateful for the early check in after getting off a long flight. The check in and out is also super easy through the app and loved the time saving. The Mickey beignets from Scat Cats are a must. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at the nearby Port Orleans Riverside boatwrights, it’s just a 10 min walk away by the lovely river side. All in all a great stay!

Had a few hiccups during our stay but Chris the manager made sure we had a magical stay!!! Only complaint is that the beds were never made they came and emptied garbage and replaced towels but that was it. I’m assuming due to Covid or understaffing. Overall this is a great resort one of the smaller ones at Disney. Everything is close by not far away and spread out like the others. Staff here was wonderful!

The staff are all super friendly. We enjoyed using both this and the sister hotel. We loved using the boat to get about too. The only downside of the whole time was the low-quality, narrow choice of food options. A good idea would be to have completely different menus in Riverside and French Q. Or perhaps to have changing menus for variety. Everything else was superb. Lovely size and style.

These properties often have no coffee maker, but this one did. No microwave however. Disney food court prices are often outrageous, but seemed fairly comparable this trip. The buttermilk chicken was particularly good. We stayed a week and they only came in once to clean orc empty the trash.

Loved this resort! Everything was perfect. The food at the quick service area was so good! If you plan on staying there for longer than 2 days you will have to ask the front desk for new sheets they will only take out your trash and give you new towels every other day.

We loved the riverside view from our room. The Resort was quiet enough for us, we barely heard the other guests. Food was easy to access when we wanted anything.

Rooms were clean and updated. Ceiling fan was a plus since all places keep you from really controlling the air. 69 is usually as low as you can get it - if that is the real temp after. I like a cold room when I sleep. Parking and buses were a short walk. Bldg 5

No flavored creamer anywhere, no Starbucks coffee drinks in the store to purchase... just seemed weird and a little frustrating! Sometimes you want something other than a regular coffee, plain creamer and sugar...it is the year 2022 and you should be able to get a coffee drink of your choice while on vacation and at a Disney resort especially!

I loved that the pool was so large and could accommodate so many people. My favorite was the ferry boat that took us straight to Disney Springs!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel! The rooms have recently been refurbished and feel bright, fresh and clean. This is a smaller resort so it feels intimate and relaxed; however, the pool area and hot tub were both very busy, which is the one drawback with this hotel. Another fab bonus is the Mickey shaped beignets. Yummy!

Myers FLA and we needed the next available on our airline we drove to Orlando to take advantage of Disney Properties for our kids sake. You can't beat the atmosphere and the pool time/arcade fun you can have with travel weary kids. We even went to Disney Springs and Dinner at a nearby popular restaurant (california grill) and caught the fire works view of the castle..all on a day where Disney passes were sold out.

Myers FLA and we needed the next available on our airline we drove to Orlando to take advantage of Disney Properties for our kids sake. You can't beat the atmosphere and the pool time/arcade fun you can have with travel weary kids. Property is spotless, landscaping is gorgeous, parking is close by, fountains, amenities, and food all top notch. Breakfast isn’t the best but lunch dinner options were really good. For the money this property is a great value for Disney.

The resort has a well-stocked gift shop on site as well as two dining options. Sassagoula Floatworks offers a variety of food options, including food themed to the resort (gumbo, jambalaya and beignets); the beignets are a must-eat! The rooms themselves were fairly spacious, with the exception of the small bathrooms. Disney has reduced housekeeping services during the pandemic, so you will need to make a request for daily housekeeping if desired. Overall, the resort is convenient for those wishing to spend most of the day at Disney parks and picturesque. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Property was on the bus line to get to the different properties; most took over 1/2 hr to get to which is something to consider. Little food choices on property but you can take a 20 minute boat ride for a variety of choices. Rooms were on the small side and needing updated. The cost was better than most midrange properties.

Loved it! We hardly interacted with anyone because of the pre arrival check-in, but the staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful when there was a little issue with my magic band. The room was really comfortable and very clean. We sat at the pool one day and there were games and craft activities for kids. The hotel feels spread out so you don't see tons of people. It felt secluded and peaceful.

The staff couldn't seem to refill our coffee replacements equally with coffee and cups but they were happy to fill any shortage. The river boat transportation was lovely to the other French Quarter hotel and Disney Springs.

Loved our stay here! We’re a couple, no children, and this location / hotel was perfect. Our river view room was exactly what we were hoping for. So easy to hop on the boat to Disney Springs for a nice dinner, etc. The Disney buses made it easy to get to the parks. Highly recommend.

The staff are amazing. They will do everything they can in their hands to satisfy customers. The place is filled with cool activities. The river view is amazing as well.

Port Orleans - French Quarter is one of the smaller Disney resorts which makes it much more walkable. The rooms are typical Disney with just the right touch of theming. A real plus is the pool with its kid friendly water slide and splash pad. It was our favorite resort when our kids were small and now we’ve enjoyed it with a grandchild as well. Still our favorite!

Rooms are on the small side, especially for three adults but still a good choice among the Disney hotels. Our room had a gorgeous view of the lake and was conveniently located to the pool and boat launch. This was our third time at this hotel and we would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

it should have been dealt with correctly and NOT just ‘masked over’! Very disappointed Disney!

This was out first time to Disney World. The hotel was in a great location, getting to the parks was easy on the shuttle.

The staff was very pleasant and courteous. The food and mixed drinks at the hotel were delicious. They were also accommodating in helping our trip go smoothly with my handicap mother. I would definitely stay here again.

My second time staying at this resort. It is fantastic! Disney still has the best customer service around. Extras here include: boat transportation to Disney Springs, beautiful pool, small size, and wonderful food choices. If something isn't right, they work hard to make it right. I love this resort!

This smal but beautiful Disney Resort is amazing. The lobby is very small but efficient. There is a bar right off the lobby with a great staff and serves food til 11 pm. A gift store and a restaurant with cajun style food make up the lobby. Incredible pool with a slide and pool games for the kids. There is also a game room for the kids.

We would have liked more variety in the menus and the quality of food to be a bit better, the beds firmer, and more of a playground, but the facility was fantastic especially the boat rides to Disney Springs and the buses to the parks.
