Disney's Pop Century Resort

The food is average at best, not much variety. The pool opens way too late at 10am. Their coffee sucks. No microwave in the rooms.

Great value for a Disney trip. The Skyliner was a huge plus, transportation was easy, and our room was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The resort was fun, family-friendly, and surprisingly quiet at night. My only complaint is that the rooms don’t have a microwave, which would have been helpful for leftovers. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

My family loves staying at Pop. The Skyliner is extremely convenient with a little one. The theming just gives it that Disney magic feel.

Perhaps the most notable downside was absolutely disgraceful food available in the restaurant. Honestly, with the reception of the pizza (pre-prepared so no customization options reasonably priced) the food reminded me of my college cafeteria 50 years ago. Again, the location is great. The staff were readily dedicated and helpful. (think Ritz Carlton quality) but the “hard product” was OK but not much more than that.

This is our go to property when staying at Disney. It's worth paying extra to get a preferred room. You will be closer to the skyliner and the dining. The staff is always willing to go the extra mile which I truly appreciated.

Resort was super cute/ fun themed. I know it’s a value resort but super small rooms with 2 adults and 2 over 10 year old kids. But we made the best of it. Could hear lots of outside noise in the room all hours of the night. But overall it was fine.

Worst experience at a Disney Resort ever. Starting with a flooded shower the first night. Then, due to their mistake for not charging the second night to my credit card and after calling me 3 times during the day while I was at Magic Kingdom asking to stop by the front desk to pay for the second night, which I asserted I would when I get to hotel later at night, they locked me out of the room when I arrived around 12:30 am, and they had me stay out of the room for more than one hour because the door lock was jammed and would not open; all this with a toddler and a five years old boy. On top of that, management never apologized, instead blaming it on me because according to them I was supposed to get out of Magic Kingdom and go to the hotel to pay the second night. Horrible customer service.

I loved the stay and the best thing that on the day of check-in we went to a free water park for being in a Disney hotel (that is valid for a season, check the available days) the cleaning of the hotel and the common areas..., good attention, and at check-in we were informed of everything..., very helpful.

I would like to think this is the perfect property for convenience. The sky liner transportation system is the biggest amenity for this property. Great for families especially for the little ones. I would suggest staying by the hippy dippy pool if using the sky liner because its closer. The food service was okay just long lines even when using both lanes for the cashier. The hotel property does give "decorated motel" but kids won't notice that because it is decorated really nice. The room was clean and all of the staff were nice for the most part. This will be my family's go to hotel especially while my child is still young!

Exceptional design! I really appreciate the sink outside of the shower and restroom. The room was spotlessly clean. No carpets, all hardwood floors. I was really surprised to see a safe, and a refrigerator! Also pleasantly surprised with a coffee maker. Bed was fine, and we had three pillows each! Good quality shampoo and conditioner was supplied, as was body lotion and soap. Quality and sufficient towels supplied. Thanks. AC was perfect! To make this the "perfect" room, all that is needed is a shelf at the side of the toilet. Nice swimming pools, albeit the water is warm, and the decks get burning hot. Food is absolutely superb. However what is an absolute crime, is that the excellent hot meals are served quickly, but then they get cold whilst attempting the atrocious check-out. If there are 2 check-out food lanes, there should be 2 check-out cast members to process you. It's common sense. Not only that, but these employees should be the best paid, and the most efficient. Unfortunately, the opposite is true. No way should it take 4 or 5 times longer to pay for the food, than for it to be cooked for you. The only other negative was upon our arrival I was completely ignored by a cast member at the luggage station. It was as though I was invisible, and he was not responding to my multiple "Excuse me sir" Luckily there were 2 friendlier, and helpful luggage members that helped later on. Overall it gets a 9 from 10.

Old building. A lot of distance to walk to your room. Did not feel any benefit by staying here. Food was not exactly great either.

Room and property were, as usual, clean and in great shape; however, the AC in my room only worked sporadically and didn't cool my room during the day or night. Woke up every night hot and uncomfortable. Also, I would highly recommend that Disney consider allowing free access to Disney+ / Hulu while staying on the property. This would be a great marketing opportunity for those who do not currently subscribe to those services and may increase membership(s) once the guests leave the property and return home. Just a thought.

Lobby was recently renovated and smells great. Rooms have minimal wear and tear and walls are thin. Otherwise bed and pillows were good and it was a very nice stay.

Hotel was very clean and decorated adorable, but the walls were paper thin. Now remember when you had small children who were finally in a safe space for you to be able to sit for a minute and breath. Yes our neighbors were tired after a long day and let their kids go wild and you can hear every step, word, giggle and cry. Bring headphones to sleep.

Based on our experience, I would recommend keeping any important or valuable items with you, or using a locker in the park instead of leaving them in your bags. Pop Century is close to the Sky-Liner and that made all the difference.

Showed up and my reservation was deleted….. they said there was nothing they could do even though I had a screenshot of my confirmation number and on the Disney app itself I had a confirmation.. they charged me full rate card because I had to have a place for my family to stay that night. It was pretty cold during our stay but they kept the pool nice and warm which was really appreciated! We love that we get our own busses staying at Pop, the Skyliner is right there, and the amenities like the pool bar, arcade, store, and lobby are fantastic. The only things that would make it better are lotion in the room and a little refresh in the bathroom.

The fridge is a beverage fridge and I was expecting a typical mini fridge with a tiny freezer space to freeze an ice pack

When checking into our room the phone would not unlock with our phone. We cashed the number that came up and the woman on the phone said it should start working in 10 minutes. Another cast member let us in. When we came back from dinner we will couldn't get into the room with our phone and had to go and get a key from the front desk.

Overall the Disney Pop Century resort was a great option for our trip as it was newly updated and very convenient to all the parks. Our only complaint was that you can very easily hear noises from other guests (walking above, toilets flushing, doors closing, etc.) all through out the night.

Thoroughly enjoyed Pop Century in every way !

Renovated rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and helpful. The Skyliner transportation to the parks made our days so much easier. Beds were comfortable and spacious and the room had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We will definitely be back!

This was a great stay as it was family friendly and had everything you needed.

I didn’t like the cost of parking. If you have to pay to park on the Disney property, why do you have to pay again at the parks, your car cannot be 2 places at once. The sky liner was nice to get to and from the arks but it rained on our way back to the hotel and we had to take a very overcrowded bus(I am immune compromised) and I was very uncomfortable, plus I had two annoying children touching me and my wheelchair and climbing all over the folded up seats that were up because I needed to fit my chair. The hotel was ok, it is nothing fancy. No bugs, fairly clean but very tight fit with the beds down. If you have kids there is a lot to do but I was there with my husband and adult daughter.

Was there 3 nights room was never cleaned, vending machines didnt work, the food in the cafe was not so good, you pay for parking but good luck finding it and when u do you can get out of your car, and I was told something magical was going to be done for my son with autism, they left a bag with chips and rice crispy treats in it in our room and still left the trash that was running over right next to it

POP Century Resort has all you need for a Disney family vacation. Parking and check in were easy. Gift shop, food court, arcade, pool bar and multiple pools. Rooms were nice and staff was super friendly. Shuttles to park was convenient.

Great hotel, clean and homely rooms. Good pool area and entertainment. Food was tasty and staff were polite and friendly. Easy transport to Disney. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Miss not having enough sitting area and there were no clocks in room. If you arrive early, prior to resort check in time, have something scheduled/planned while you’re awaiting for the room to be available.

We loved the ease in transportation to Disney like the buses and skyliner. Bathroom is so dirty, molds in shower and around the toilet. Room is very small and don’t have space when the murphy bed is put down. Pools were okay but too crowded and cool. Also pool water smelled more like vinegar. I stayed here for transportation to disney parks and they delivered that way. I would rethink again if I will ever stay here or choose a more high end Disney resort for next time.

We love the Skyliner! However, our room was in building 8….just not an easy way to get there, especially for two 67 people.

Love the main pool. Restaurant is open late so we could grab food after a day in the parks. Convenient Skyliner to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Staff is very friendly. This is our favorite hotel in Disneyworld.

Kingdom an Animal Kingdom was easy. The Skyline to Epcot and Disney Hollywood Studios was even better. We found Building 3 in the 50’s was quiet and convenient to everything.

Do not disturb sign was missing. If you are not from the US you have to do an extra line to enter the park, we were not notified neither by the hotel nor Disney app.

The only problem is the app itself, there were many times that my key didn't work and then I had to walk all the way back to the lobby to get a physical key.

Everything was amazing

Walls are so thin that you can hear the toilets flush next door. We were on the third floor and you could constantly hear footstep above. Fridge temp was always too warm to keep food and water cold enough. I’m not a fan of hotels not doing daily housekeeping but I will say they came when asked. People were friendly and grounds were kept clean. Definitely a motel vibe but not motel prices. I like the cafe for convenience but a restaurant would have been nice as well. My flight was delayed and I asked for one hour late checkout and was denied. After staying there and spending so much money for 8 days, I couldn’t believe I couldn’t be given one hour!! My stay was ok but I don’t think I’d stay there again.

Very convenient transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios via the Skyliner. Busses to MK/AK were prompt. Rooms are clean, modern. If you're not on a top floor, it can be a little noisy at times, but not in a disruptive or bad way. Friendly, helpful staff. When we come to Disney, we often stay at Pop Century because it's our favorite!

I loved the resort and the skyliner close by, the beds were comfy and food court was great and accessible. However, housekeeping only came over one time when we requested every other day. Other than that, me and my family had a lovely and comfortable stay at Pop Century.

Had a great time here with friends last week. I found the cast members to be helpful and friendly. Transportation to and from the parks was a breeze. I love the skyliner! Would have liked to have had a bit more variety with the meal choices in the cafeteria, but everything I ate there was good! My whole vacation experience was incredible.

Ive been to disney on several occasions and this was the first time in the resort!!! This will be our permanent choice for years to come!

Continues to be our favorite resort. Clean rooms and great property. Three pools- none were busy during summer. We love the 50's pool. Great music at it and not chaotic. Great food options at the dining hall on property. Super easy bus stop to get you to the parks and Disney Springs that is an easy walk from rooms. Only one bus stop and directly goes to all locations. You don't share a bus with other places. You don't get that at all the resorts. Skyliner is an extra perk. For the value, this resort exceeds the others, and we have tried many of the moderate resorts.

My family and I truly enjoyed staying at Pop Century! The food court was convenient and the portions were large. The pools were refreshing and clean. The beds were comfortable. The shower could use some more water pressure, but it was fine.

I had only one problem. I had paid for 2 adjoining rooms. Disney texted the first one was ready at 1pm and the 2nd one was almost impossible to find out when it would be ready. I called them twice from the park. The 2nd call indicated the room was ready but we had to go to the desk when we got back to the property at 11pm. we were assigned the room but it was not an adjoining room. Otherwise it was a great property.

Good location, close to parks with multiple transportation options. Biggest let down was that room was not ready for contactless mobile check in at 3pm as hyped by the hotel booking page.
