Loved the location and amenities! It had everything we needed. Beach was beautiful- I could watch the surfers all day long! You have a shuttle that takes you to the beach if you don’t want to walk 2 minutes :) and you can request them to set up the chairs and umbrellas, get boogie boards. I find it a very nice add-on. Staff was beyond attentive!! Food at restaurants was very good! You almost don’t need to leave, but you do have a gorgeous area around so it’s nice to venture off to San Clemente or Laguna Beach. We live in Venice beach only a little over 1 hour away and this felt like a nice vacation!!

Only one set of toothbrushes was provided, and despite calling the front desk, we never received an additional set. Additionally, the $75 parking fee feels excessive. The view is fantastic!

Excellent stay! Super friendly staff. Went over and above! Excellent beds and pillows. Noisy air conditioner. They made an adjustment to our bill. The safe in the room was on the floor of the closet. Made it very challenging to get on our knees to put valuables in and get them back out.

It was our wedding day, after the reception we tried to check in using Apple Pay what just about every business uses. The room had already been booked and paid for using a credit card yet we returned away and had to wake up one of our wedding guests to bring another bag That had the rest of our cards in it in order to check in. Made the end to our wedding night, a complete catastrophe.

We had a wonderful one night stay. We came for the Candlelight Concert. Despite having a fire alarm disturbing our quiet dinner at Raya..The stay was wonderful.

A pretty expensive place to stay but everything about it is wonderful - except for the cost. Great for special occasions. Just above Salt Creek Beach, a fun place to watch surfers. There is a shuttle to get you to and from the beach which is down a steep walkway. There is also a service that provides beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach. A nice touch.

The location is unbeatable being perched on the cliff above Salt Creek. It is not an easy walk to the beach but there is a tram that takes you down and will pick you up. The beach that it goes down to is a very popular beach so depending on the season, it is very crowded. Our room was very nice and clean. They come and do 2 cleanings a day which we liked. The staff who clean the rooms and are at the inside cafe are awesome. We found the staff in the dining areas to be not as great which was surprising. We ate the regular sit down restaurant for breakfast and we only saw our server once when she came and took our order. She never returned. We had to ask others for our coffee, food and bill. It was really strange. The food took over 30 minutes to come out which was fine as we were not in a hurry, just seemed strange. We also experienced really poor service at the 180 out door bar. We waited about 20 minutes to just get our drinks once we ordered them and then our food took even longer. It seemed like our drinks were coming from the inside bar which did not make sense at all. The servers were never around. I really expected more from the onsite restaurants. There was also a fire alarm that went off twice during the night. That was also really strange. We ended up not leaving the room after we opened the doors to see if there was an emergency and looked outside as well. I would not come back here. I would look at other options.
