The hotel was lovely. Very clean and well maintained. The only thing was I felt that $30 a day for parking was a bit steep.

We don’t recommend this place. The staff were rude and unhelpful

The bed is a queen but it must not be the standard size most of us are use to as it is very small for 2 standard adults. The bathroom is big but the shower lacks any shelving to put your stuff on and the water from the shower leaks to the floor of the bathroom. Worst of all there is no shower pressure to the point that I could not rinse the shampoo out of my hair. During our stay there was only a handful of other occupants and there is a $30 charge to park in an empty parking lot with zero security or purpose. It feels like paying to park at a suburban motel 6. I think this needs to be revisited by management as it was not disclosed to us prior to booking and it definitely leaves a bad impression. The biggest issue is that I was charged a miscellanous fee of over $120 that posted to my account and was eventually refuded one week later. I called multiple times and left 2 messages and spoke to someone over the phone and never got a call back. Not even a courtesy call to explain the charge or to tell me when to expect the refund.

I'd say it was a really pleasant stay. Clearly it's a property that was flipped but they did a nice job - it was thoughtfully renovated. Staff were very attentive and kind. Only issue was I had a sewage smell coming from my sink periodically but they assured me they'd look into it.

The staff made us feel very welcome and special due to spending our honeymoon here for a night

the place was very cute and the design of the room was nice. the location was close to everywhere we wanted to go during our trip. the staff there was also very nice, they gave us free slippers, a deck of cards, and a reusable water bottle. the 2 nights we were there, they had issues with the hot water so we had to shower in cold water. we were also on the first floor and the walls are very thin, we had a room next door at 8am in the morning going in and out of their room and we can hear every door slam, the next night we can hear the person next door snoring through our walls.

The restaurant opens at 4.I arrived at 5 No bartender. Ask for a dinner menu. They couldn't find one. The sink in our bathroom was admitting a horrible odor. We asked to have it checked. Later that evening it still had not been fixed. They fixed finally
- 3/5
We arrived for our 4pm check in and were informed there would be no hot water for the night for showers. They had plenty of time to contact us ahead of time about this issue. We paid extra for a balcony but when we went to sit outside there was some type of external system (for dryers or something) right out our balcony. It was blowing the hottest air right at the balcony we couldn't even go outside. Then, our air-conditioning unit was leaking water, we had to keep a towel under it because we kept stepping in it. Luckily we were only staying one night but pretty disappointed. We weren't even offered some type of discount for all the issues.
- 3/5
“Hot”water was just tepid. No stand for suitcase. Lighting in bathroom too low for makeup application. No tea in room, only coffee. Room itself is charming, but noisy. Because of the motel like setup, you can hear people using the pool and traffic. The staff were lovely. But at 72, this just wasn’t my cup of tea….haha

The room had a horrible sewer odor coming from the faucet not to mention their was no hot water so we had to change our hotels because we were told it wont be fixed until monday.

What makes this place stand out is the atmosphere..it manages to feel incredibly cozy and comfortable while maintaining a high sense of homestead luxury. It is the perfect balance for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

The aesthetic, it gives a boutique feel and the staff during our Apr 4-5 stay were super friendly! The restaurant was closed during our time of our stay except for breakfast. We live around the area and just doing staycation so wish had the full experience.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations—from the moment I booked to the moment I arrived. Walking in feels like stepping into a perfect blend of old Palm Springs charm and 90s Hollywood glamour. There’s a vibe here that’s both nostalgic and effortlessly cool, without trying too hard. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They aren’t just attentive—they’re genuinely kind, intuitive, and somehow know exactly what you need without you having to say much. I arrived after a really difficult night, clearly upset, and was met with such warmth and care that it honestly shifted my entire mood. By the time I got to my room, I felt calmer, grounded, and reminded that things were going to be okay. That kind of experience is rare, and it meant more than I can put into words. And then there’s the food—don’t even get me started. The oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are out of this world, perfectly soft with just the right balance of sweet and comforting. The breakfast sandwiches? Absolutely top-tier. And the Bikini Bod Margarita is exactly what you hope it will be—refreshing, balanced, and dangerously good. This place is a tucked-away gem that somehow manages to be perfect for just about anything—a solo reset, a quiet escape, a romantic stay, or even just a place to breathe and recharge. It’s the kind of spot you almost want to keep to yourself, but it’s too good not to share. Everyone deserves to experience it at least once. No lunch menu

This is not a 4-star. And the $30 parking fee is not even necessary since there is street parking and it’s not a busy street.

Loved our stay!! The room was super cute and comfy!!

This property was very nice and the staff was very attentive, but we were really looking for a property by Laguna Beach, yes it does state the hotel is in Laguna Hills, we weren’t from there so when we googled it, it stated a 10min drive to the beach.. this is a good business hotel and a great pit stop but it’s not big enough to be family and it’s quite away from everything

Enjoyed the pool, quietness and very friendly staff. 10/10 will stay here again!

The decoration and esthetic were really cute and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great! Service was great but short staffed for sure. If you can select not to have neighbors that would help as you can hear doors slamming shut if they came in late at night.

Odd, why am I getting a charge? I called the hotel and asked why I was charged 30 dollars an hour ago to my card. After being on hold for quite some time I was informed it was for parking. Now I have already stayed here 2 other times and was never charged parking also why would you charge me 5 days later? When I asked I was told I was comped the last two stays. I explained when checking in I was never told there was a fee for parking, it’s more a principle thing at this point l, if I were told there was a charge checking in and charged at checkout fine. Buyt five days later? And no real explanation why, that I have an issue with. Not even it’s a new policy we apologize, nothing. I live close by and this was my go to place if I need to stay for a night or two but now not so sure. Not a good look or business practice.

Need to di diem shifts as a nurse and spend ref night here was needed instead of drivibv from San Bernardino to Laguna in the morning . The hotel is cute , clean and peaceful . The staffs were very friendly and helpful
- 4/5
The hotel appeared new or recently remodeled at the time I stayed there. It was very clean with a generous supply of fresh towels in the room. Everything was fine except I'm a light sleeper and this type of property is too noisy for me with three sounds of garbage cans, luggage and vacuum cleaner wheels rolling on the concrete walkaways.

The check in staff was amazing, same girl served breakfast very engaging and customer service oriented.

Well designed! Enjoyed all the details that went into it. Also appreciated the front desk being very friendly & helpful. Location was also great! Not too far from Laguna. Would definitely visit again!

Billing- Billing and Billing…. I paid my stay directly with Expedia (Great Price Thank You Expedia!!!) FYI: I always recommend to pay Expedia directly so you’re guaranteed to keep that fantastic Expedia price. Unfortunately, the hotel staff couldn’t get my billing quite right…. American Express has a terrific fraud department… and they a great partners with American Express Travel….

Loved this hotel. It was a one night stay for a sports thing. Great design, cleanliness and convenient to so many dining options and things. Will return.

I said I saw parking was free here based on Expedia . Then they honored me free parking .

This so-called “hotel” feels more like a painted-over Motel 6 than anything associated with the Marriott name. Don’t come here expecting Marriott-level service or facilities—you won’t find either. It’s honestly disappointing that Marriott would attach its brand to a place that feels this bare-bones and poorly maintained. For what they charge, the value simply isn’t there. You’d be better off checking nearby motels for half the price and likely a better overall experience.

Loved it.

Hotel did an amazing remodel, every detail paid attention to. Could hang out all day in the lobby. Gym had very high tech treadmills (x3), peloton, free weights and KB’s up to 40lbs, 2x benches, tv, stretching and yoga equipment. Full breakfast and coffee menu with local coffee, high end snack station, and the rooms had great lighting, water pressure, and beds

Room had an odor to it.

I recently stayed at Tiller House in Laguna Hills for my birthday weekend. By far the best stay I’ve had at a hotel in Laguna. The rooms were clean and had modern yet classy decor. They offered complimentary water, slippers and playing cards which was a sweet touch. The things that stood out the most were the food at breakfast and the staff. I had the best avocado toast ever there and our waiter was so incredibly kind. We had a minor plumbing issue our first day and maintenance was there within 5 minutes. Everyone was very sweet to my young daughter and even gave her compliments on her manners. Definitely a proud mom moment. Laguna is a place I always go to to relax and decompress from my hectic job. Tiller House is located in a business area and conveniently near the freeway. After our great experience and warm welcome from staff, I will always stay at Tiller House when coming to Laguna.

When we got to the room we discovered the TV didn’t work. I called the front desk and she told me the person who takes care of that is busy for 40 minutes. We asked for another room bc it was late and didn’t want to move after he couldn’t fix the TV. The next day there was no hot water when my husband went to take a shower.
