Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach

We truly enjoyed our stay here! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and helpful. We were greeted with glasses of rosé at our evening check in and dog treats and a toy for our pup. The room was adorable, spacious, and clean. We loved the breakfast service and pool area and appreciated that they provided beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas. We will definitely be back!

Great location, very clean and decent. The only thing i can say is that there’s only one thrash can. Bathroom doesnt have one. My wish, could have sausage for breakfast. Overall nice and comfortable 1 night stay.

upon arrival, I noticed that my toilet seat cover was broken so I notified the front desk staff. someone came in to take photos and had me sign a liability waiver, but no accommodations or services were offered in return. I also noticed in the morning that my coffee machine was also not working. I left a note so it can be repaired for other guests’ stay!

Loveeee this hotel. Its going to become a new home away from home for us. The amenities, the staff, aesthetic, and the location were hard to beat.

Charming and well located. Great breakfast! Cross the street and head down to the beach, hotel offers chairs and beach towels to take with you. The sofa bed was not comfortable for the 3rd in our group, but everything else was above and beyond expectations!

The breakfast was amazing and fresh. Staff was great especially bartenders and breakfast staff. thought I had booked 2 queen beds but they said that was an upgrade so my daughter, granddaughter and I ended up with 1 king bed and a pack & play. Room was very nice but tiny. The beach across the street is quite the hike if you carry chairs and umbrellas but it’s gorgeous. Hotel will provide towels, chairs and umbrellas if you get there early enough. One note: they really could use some trash cans! Couldn’t find any on the property, pool or lounge area, and the one in the room was very small. Minor detail but annoying just the same. Overall property is gorgeous and very well maintained!

We had an exceptional experience at Le Petite Pali. From start to finish the service was excellent. I really appreciated all of the niche touches that really made the experience memorable. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and nightly cookie delivery. We cannot wait to come back! The rooms are clean and beautifully designed as well. 10/10!

I loved this property! The decor and vibes are great for a little getaway. The staff were friendly and the location was great. Directly across from The Montage with walking access to the beach. The pool is great, along with the drinks and snacks! The only issue was that our AC didn’t really cool down our room at night. Other than that, definitely recommend and hope to come back!

Super friendly staff

I can't say enough about the thought that went into every detail of this place from the hot cookies to the welcome glass of champagne to the designs of the rooms and common areas. I felt like I was in a movie (a Wes Anderson one to be exact). Katie at the front desk was delightful and answered any questions we had plus helped us get our beach chairs (yay for 80 degrees in February). Karen at the morning breakfast was top notch. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her (all while she worked her tail off). She made the morning spectacular for us with top notch personalized service (even on a very busy Sunday morning). We cannot wait to stay here again some day!!

This boutique hotel is beautifully designed. The staff were great and welcoming. We stayed in a king deluxe room and it was very spacious. Location was also great as it offered ocean views and beach access. Would definitely stay there again.

The is our second stay at a Petit Pali hotel. We stayed at the Carmel location in the Fall, and loved it. The Laguna Beach location could not be more perfect. The hotel sits directly off of the PCH across the street from the Montage Hotel and beach access. The walk down to the beach and beach area was stunningly beautiful. The hotel provided beach chairs, and towels and also had beach umbrellas available if desired. Everything at the hotel is so thoughtfully designed and decorated. It is stunning really. Two small complaints. First, we had sand all around the perimeter of our shower that had not been cleaned from the previous person before us. I kindly asked for housekeeping to attend to the issue and the hotel assured me they would. The issue was never resolved and I did not want to hound the hotel about it, so I let it be. The shower curtain in our room was dirty and needing to be replaced. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast in the mornings. While the selection is small, they do offer delicious yogurt, with homemade granola, a few pastries and whole fruit. They also offer alcoholic beverages. We do not drink alcohol but were still asked to leave a tip for the yogurt and orange juice we ate for breakfast. For me, it was a bit off putting. Perhaps it is ok to ask for a tip for those drinking alcohol? I am not sure. I guess I just feel like if you offer a complimentary breakfast, it should be that…no tips required. All in all, the hotel is lovely and I would stay again

The room was beautiful with elegant accents. The staff was great and very welcoming. Extra touches like a glass of sparkling wine at check in and a 6:00 daily warm cookie delivery were perfect additions to elevate the stay.

The staff were magnificent; Karen in particular. She was very friendly, warm and helpful. The rooms are decorated beautifully, but the noise level wasn’t ideal. You can hear almost everything going on around you. We stay in hotels often, and this was one of the most noisiest. We are deep sleepers, so it wasn’t an issue for us at night. They treated our dog like royalty, and the fresh cookies are amazing. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. The location is also ideal.

Our other wish is that places would stop charging for parking and whilst I don’t mind a pet fee, I feel the charges in “pet friendly” hotels are anything but friendly and you don’t even get a dog bed for the fee or food. Luckily, we were on a roadtrip and had everything with us.

The decor was Raloh Lauren inspired, with cute retro touches (in-room refrigerator, rotatory-dial. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and you had the cutest single-serve olive oil cake under glass awaiting us, with a handwritten note! Chef's kiss...lastly 2 fresh cookies delivered to our room nightly! Staff very attentive and housekeeping refreshed our room daily! I will be a repeat guest!

Service and latout

Lovely, clean room with great shower and super comfortable bed/pillows, and so many nice amenities (even a tote to carry items to the pool or beach). Property is just off highway so there is a little road noise, but that means we're just across from the ocean as well. Easy access to beach so no need to look for parking. Check in was easy and reception welcoming. Warm cookies are delivered to your room. Breakfast was lovely and our server Colette was the best.

If you relish understated elegance, a graceful beach vibe and a team aka of team of kind capable staff….i urge you to experience Le Petit Pali and do not miss the complimentary morning French breakfast w “Mo” he makes sure everyone feels belonging while masterfully accommodating. Rooms, grounds all exude the care, class and kindness that is Le Petit Pali. 5 Stars are not enough.

Very nice room and hotel! They had some staffing issues the day we arrived and we could not get our room for 2 hours after check in but they were very accommodating and waived our parking fee. Highly recommend the breakfast and staying at this hotel!

A gem in Laguna. The rooms are brand new, clean, comfortable. Parking is easy and free. There are a couple restaurants next door that are really good, as well as a CVS. Across from the Montage resort with easy beach access. 10 minute drive to downtown Laguna. Laguna Beach trolley stop is also right outside.

We had a wonderful stay at PP Laguna! The room was cozy and it was obvious someone put a lot of thought into the details. The staff was amazing. Everyone was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome and at home. So much so my son (a toddler) was high-fiving the staff and asking me why we were leaving. We will definitely be back ! Clean room. A variety of amenities. Only 5-minute walk from a beach with beach chairs that guests can borrow. The cookie-delivery service was something I never experience. I also have never experienced a hotel who is continuously checking in with guests before, which also gave me a great impression about this place. Lastly, Great breakfast.

I was looking for a place to stay for a photo shoot and came across La Petit Pali Laguna. My room felt like home upon arrival with a freshly baked cookie to greet me. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable and the staff is so friendly. Be sure to have Michael the bartender make you a drink, he's the best and Ben at the front desk was so helpful with helping me with my luggage and clothes for my shoot. Was sad to leave the property and plan to visit soon for a personal trip, and not a work trip!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. Great location with a trolley stop in front and an easy walk across the street to the beach. Also next door is a convenient shopping center with restaurants, coffee shop, nail salon and massage place! Our kids loved the pool and the evening cookies. Breakfast was great too!

Having a ($25/day) parking fee for a self parking lot in front of the hotel is silly and unnecessary. It takes away from the experience. It feels cheap for a hotel at this caliber. Other than that, loved the hotel, staff and accommodation. A wonderful property. Loved the New England style decor. Very charming. Easy access to one of the most picturesque beaches in Laguna Beach (Treasure Island) is an added bonus.

The rooms are quite quiet, though some upstairs footsteps could be heard at times. Completely resolved if you are on the 2nd floor! It was not a huge deal, just fyi for sound sensitives!

The Laguna Petit Pali will be our spot going forward. It was a beautiful hotel with great access to the beach. We had a beautiful sunrise morning. Their breakfast was also delicious with local baked goods. It was the perfect weekend getaway and we can’t wait to go back.

AMAZING! The property is clean, convenient, and feels like home. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Loved the 6 PM cookie delivery as well. Breakfast was always delicious. The pool deck is equipped with towels, umbrellas, floaties and cold water. Everything you could ever need is provided in the room. 10/10 would stay again!

Brand new spotless hotel with thoughtful and colorful accents. They have a bold approach with very thorough guest attention and customer experience. There’s a nice Wes Anderson feel on the property and thoughtful gestures throughout. The pool is nice and the location is great right in Laguna and a short walk from many excellent hikes or shopping or restaurants, etc. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-quality boutique with excellent service and attention to detail.

We traveled with our two, teenage sons for the weekend and had a phenomenal experience at La Petit Pali. #1 thing was the service. Excellent bartender, great service over happy hour and breakfast. Hotel Design was adorable, every detail acounted for and bathtub was deep. Location is also excellent with beautiful beach walk across the street.

Despite being listed as a VIP property on Expedia, there were no actual VIP perks provided, which was disappointing. The beds were only moderately comfortable and tended to sag in the middle. Parking is another frustration since you pay $25 per night and still struggle to find a spot. The air-conditioning unit was also a nightmare, freezing one side of the bed while the rest of the room stayed warm. The pool area is cute but could be much nicer for the price. Another miss was the lack of body wash during our stay, forcing us to use shampoo instead. For a property that promotes Diptyque as its luxury amenity, overlooking basics like this reflects poorly on housekeeping and management. In short, it is a well-decorated property with great cocktails, service, and a surprisingly good champagne breakfast, but between the food limitations, parking issues, flawed air-conditioning, and the reality of it being a glorified motel, the ove

Perfect location with direct access to several lovely beaches and quieter than the hectic traffic of the main town. Rooms are large and well appointed. Michael the lobby bartender is a star, really taking care of guests at the pool and evening. Definitely could use more staff when they are busy.

We loved the retro look of the room and how well designed it was. The breakfast was amazing eggs and croissants and coffee were delicious. Fantastic location we walked to the beach and had easy access Cannot wait to stay at another pali house hotel, as I have heard they have many locations.

I stayed here with my husband and son for 3 nights. I’m sure it used to be a motel as it looks that style, but has been refurbished to a very high standard. All the decour has been tastefully done and toiletries are Diptique. The breakfast is Continental and delicious with a good choice of quality yoghurt and bakery goods. Great location close to town and the free trolley bus is just outside. I can’t fault it, but if I had to say anything negative I would say it doesn’t warrant a $40 resort fee. I understand most of US hotels do this.

Booked this hotel for the weekend of wedding before it was open to the public, so I didn’t know what to expect. I am SO glad I did. My family and friends all enjoyed the beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast, spacious rooms, and easy access to the beach across the street. Michael, the bartender, would be a reason to come back. He was kind, chatty, caring, and a very personable touch to a very memorable weekend. I look forward to coming back for my anniversary!

They did such a stunning job on the renovation! It has a very French cozy feel to it. The rooms are beautifully done, and we loved the wonderful breakfast with the various hosts each day. They have a lovely bar area. It’s so close to the beach. I would 100% stay again!

I did a surprise Fathers Day getaway for my husband here and it was absolutely fabulous. I can admit we are a bit of hotels snobs as we stay at high end places a lot. And they did not disappoint at La Peti at all. So attentive, so kind, thoughtful staff. The rooms are so clean, the beds are comfortable and so clean. We loved it so my I made a super cute content video on socials that people are loving and are looking to to get the same experience.

We stayed here for my friend’s wedding at the Montage, and it couldn’t have been more convenient. Highly recommend this place—we’ll definitely be coming back and making it our go-to hotel for future Laguna getaways.

We had a phenomenal stay and the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. We traveled with our three young boys and they loved it too. Michael went above and beyond to be kind to us and our boys. The room was clean and comfortable. It’s also a short walk across PCH to one of the best beaches in Laguna!

The staff are fantastic and the design is great- its basically a converted travel lodge in a car park with a pool- only issues we had were the baked goods for breakfast were not good- the croissants were heavier than a lead brick - but it comes with great tattinger Champagne - very few areas to eat breakfast if hotel is busy and internet connection was really slow and spotty and TV cuts out constantly so super annoying if you want to use the TV - they should sort this out asap - would stay here again - not good if you want to walk to main strip - you need a car as its a bit far from center. Our room was surprisingly quiet - go for upper floor room as ground floor you hear footsteps above from people above as cielings dont seem sound proofed. they need to clear up land outside property at back when you open windows- it was scrappy with litter as if no one went behind hotel to maintain it

They’ve done a wonderful job transforming what was probably an old motel six into an original and cool looking and feeling hotel. Service was excellent.

I absolutely adore Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach. My stay was wonderful and I didn’t ever want to leave. Every detail was curated to perfection and my time was a very relaxing and luxurious experience from check in to check out. I have two slight complaints that did bother me just a bit. The ac unit inside my room was so incredibly loud, it sounded like an electric blender the entire time it was on. And the lights in the bathroom have a very quick sensor. Many times while in the shower at night, the lights shut off leaving me completely in the dark. I had to repeatedly open my shower door which was irritating. But other than that, it was perfect!

It’s a super quaint motel right across from the beach. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I appreciated the bottled water and chocolates, the nightly fresh cookie delivery, the cute English style cups and saucers, and the espresso/tea machine in the room. They have a nice little area in the front where they serve breakfast in the morning, and alcoholic beverages and small plates throughout the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

The suite was adorable! I loved the French country motif. Little odd to have the bathroom sink in the living room. There was a particular attention to some details. I would have added a few things: 1) no trash cans around the outside of the property and only one in the suite; 2) the sink could have used a rack around the base to hang hand towels; 3) the couch could have used a throw; 4) the espresso machine didn’t work or if it did, I wouldn’t know since no instructions were provided and I’m fairly savvy with gadgets. The country style continental breakfast was good — great breads, breakfast pastries, butter, jam, delicious yogurt and granola. But, very few places to sit inside the dining area. Also, wonderful champagne on arrival and mimosas and juices offered at breakfast. Wonderfully friendly staff, although some of the other guests were not so friendly, especially when sitting in such close quarters at breakfast. All in all, a delightful little place to stay. I would certainly stay here again.

Each morning began with a champagne breakfast, complete with baked goods, fresh juices, coffee, tea, mimosas, and adorable jars of jam to take with you. The in-room amenities felt luxurious, from Diptyque bath products to a T3 hair dryer and plush robes. The staff was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Mo, in particular, made breakfast even more enjoyable. The saltwater pool is peaceful and beautifully landscaped, with soft music and fountains that create a relaxed, romantic vibe (but it’s also great for families). Shops, restaurants, and a CVS are within easy walking distance, making the location both idyllic and convenient. This was a quick getaway for us, but you could easily spend your whole vacation here. I can’t wait to return—or try one of the other Le Petit Pali locations. Highly recommend!

The staff was very amenable to my late night arrival. The room was very spacious, very clean, and the price of the room made it a hidden gem.

Clean and uodatec boutique hotel conveniently located across from a beautiful, world-class resort that charges three times the amount as the Lodge. Yet, you can walk across the street easily with a crossing light and take advantage of beach access or fabulous walks, views and cocktail hour. It is a long walk 2 mile walk into downtown Laguna Beach but there is a free trolley. Also, two nice restaurants, a CVS and a Gelson’s steps away. Parking is very convenient. Great little hotel for the money. Minimal ikea furniture but kind of stylish. The only problem was the leaking roof. We told reception but they said nothing would be done as they are in the process of renovating??? Luckily the rain was dripping on the floor by the door and not on the bed!!!

Charming property that is well located and maintained. My room was basic/simple and nicely appointed. Furnishings were all newer and modern as well as comfortable. Staff was friendly and accessible when needed. parking is free and easy; a rarity for a cute coastal town in So Cal. I will stay here again

Our room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet . Easy access to beach and places to shop and eat. Easy parking.

Our room was nicely refurbished and perfect for what we needed. Bathroom was gorgeous! However the walls and floors were paper thin and we heard every little sound from our noisy neighbors. This is not unique to our room as even when we checked in we could hear ominous footsteps above the registration desk, like it was only a 1/2” plywood floor! WiFi code didn’t work and there’s almost no help from the front desk after hours, like being on a ghost ship. We loved the design, location and price but because there’s no getting around the thin walls, probably wouldn’t return.
