Reviews
The hotel is praised for its exceptional location and beautiful views, with many guests enjoying the proximity to the beach and local amenities. However, a significant number of reviews mention ongoing construction and renovations, which has led to noise, limited facilities, and a general feeling of disappointment. The hotel's pricing strategy, including hidden fees and high costs, has also been a point of contention for several guests.
- Exceptional location with beautiful views
- Close proximity to the beach and local amenities
- Ongoing construction and renovations causing inconvenience
- Pricing strategy including hidden fees and high costs

Location is terrific. Great beach view. Right on the esplanade making long walks by the beach easy.
- 5/5
The cleanliness and decor were second to none. Immediately felt relaxed and excited for our stay upon entering room. Loved having direct access to pool from room and the views were spectacular. Perfect location to walk to everything. Would 100% stay and recommend this place to stay again!

Amazing location, friendly staff and very clean rooms. Cocktails were great too.
- 5/5
Loved the pool and the hot tub. The room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant set delivered drinks and snacks to the beautiful terrace and that was great
- 5/5
They made it very special. Staff is awesome
- 5/5
We had a great time. The rooms were spacious. The staff was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
Location was great, property was clean and well maintained. Service can be better, there should be more staff working
- 5/5
Amazing location. Beach view was stunning from room. Absolutely loved this property. Perfect location in Laguna Beach. Zero complaints, only gratitude for being able to stay there for a beautiful weekend.
- 2/5
There was a wedding going on near our room and could hear loud music until 10pm, then all the guests leaving and going to pool and hot tub area to continue their partying til 3am. We didn’t sleep at all and it was way too expensive for what it was. I wouldn’t stay here again for the money. The hotel is too small for wedding parties.
- 5/5
Best location and right near town and main beach. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Many art galleries near by. A nice touch is their welcome drink, nightly delicious cookies and frozen grapes by the pool in the afternoon. It’s also so nice they give you an umbrella to use at the beach along with towels. We parked our car and never used it again until we left. There is a free trolley to get around town if you forecast to walk. Nothing

Great location. Extremely clean Parking was a surprise. $70/night. We were surprised to have to pay for coffee in morning

Great stay. Room was perfect. Great location . will be back soon.
- 5/5
Great hotel, excellent location, very walkable. Beds were comfy, lots of little nooks to have drink inside or outside.
- 4.5/5
The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing which was a real treat. From the front entry to the pool to the small details in the room, we loved everywhere we looked and everything we looked at. It's in a great location in Laguna Beach - a staircase brings you from the lobby straight down to the beach and town is very easily walkable as well. We selected a regular (no view) king room and the room we got actually had an incredible ocean view - I think we got lucky with this! If you're looking for a slightly elevated hotel stay that doesn't break the bank, stay at Casa Loma! Parking was a surprising $70 per night, and we also got charged a $40 amenity fee that I didn't expect (may have been from using beach blanket and towels, I'm not sure). All things considered the price was good for how much we enjoyed the hotel.
- 5/5
Beautiful clean rooms and relaxing sound of waves, great view of the ocean…close to everything in walking distance will cone back again

It was great

We stayed on the top floor facing the ocean. Loved every minute of our stay. We’ll be back for sure.

Loved it!

The sound of the ocean.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel in a great location in one of the most beautiful locations in CA. Amenities were a plus; heated pool and hot tub, easy access to Heisler park and downtown Laguna. Upper rooms have a view of the ocean. Breakfast was great. Will come back again.
- 4.5/5
Location was great and the overall ambiance of the property was very laid back and comfortable. Cost of on-site parking seemed a bit steep with few other options available.
- 5/5
Can , staff, beach view and hot tub was perfect
- 5/5
Everything was great - clean, especially the view!
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Other than not having a lobby area where to sit, everything else was good.
- 4.5/5
Could be some more loungers around the pool as most were taken by occupants that had appartments around the pool.
- 3/5
Overall ok
- 1/5
No one offered to help with our bags on arrival, and it felt more like a hostel than a luxury stay. There was no explanation about where the elevator was, how to get around the hotel, or anything about amenities. The feeling persisted anytime we were in the lobby: just really bad & unfriendly hospitality. Our first room that faced the street was extremely noisy (traffic, sirens), and the AC sounded like a plane taking off. We called front desk to ask to be switched to another room and they advised us that all rooms have the same AC system with the same loud noise. When they switched us to a second room, it smelled like sewage — like a dirty toilet — and we were advised that construction would be taking place throughout our stay. To top it off, we were hit with an unexpected $346 in parking and “amenity” fees at checkout - none of which were explained, and we were never shown what amenities were included. These fees feel like a cash grab and did not feel fair. Between the noise, awful smell, lack of service, construction, and surprise charges, this stay was not worth it. Save your money and book somewhere like Le Petit Pali or The Ranch Laguna instead.
- 5/5
I loved it
- 5/5
Great location with great access to everything by foot.
- 5/5
Fantastic experience. We will definitely return!
- 5/5
Beautiful ocean access
- 5/5
Great location absolutely stunning views. Steps away from the beach and a beautiful walking path. Next door is the Art Museum. Room service was wonderful, there are bunches of little places to sit around the property to enjoy the menu and the vibes. I can’t wait to come back and explore the property more! Our room was gorgeous and we loved the view but the floor above us was very busy and very loud at times. I think we were under the deck. It was the scooting of tables and chairs that was most alarming.
- 5/5
Beautiful, remodeled, boutique hotel located right over Laguna’s main beach. Excellent.
- 5/5
We enjoyed everything about Casa Loma Beach hotel.Location locations location the best!
- 5/5
Great location, adorable room, beautiful view The room was difficult to find.
- 5/5
Perfect location and clean. Close to a trolley stop. Across is a nice restaurant Urth Cafe. Parking has a fee of $70

Great stay
- 4.5/5
Magnificent location
- 4/5
Most everything is very good. The bed covers and AC need improvement.
- 3/5
This was our first time visiting the hotel, and we were placed on the same level as the bar and lobby. Unfortunately, our balcony offered little to no privacy, as it was directly adjacent to the main pathway to the beach connected to the lobby. Noise was also an issue at night, likely due to guests who had one too many drinks. Prior to our arrival, the owner called to offer an upgrade. When I politely declined, it did make me wonder whether our room placement was intentional. That said, the hotel drinks were delicious, and the rooftop lounge itself was very nice. Overall, I would rate the experience a 7/10.
- 5/5
Room. Daybeds
- 3/5
No coffee options
- 3/5
Gorgeous property, great location but lots of very expensive hidden extras - resort fee expected, then $70 per night parking, plus an extortionate pet fee that was not shared at booking or check in.
- 5/5
From the moment we entered we were delighted by courtesy of the staff and the luxuries amenities .
- 5/5
Location, cleanliness and staff service Na
- 5/5
Clean rooms, centrally located, walk to the beach. Pool & hot tub are awesome. Welcome drinks and beautiful views. Be prepared for $40 resort fee and $70 a day parking on top of your daily rate. Overall a great moderately priced stay.
- 5/5
Overall Satisfied.
- 5/5
Was a bit pricey and pretty small shower.
- 5/5
Excellent location, friendly staff and loved the decor and overall vibe.
- 5/5
Location! Location! Location! Great service, food, views, amenities.
- 5/5
Small, clean rooms in the best location possible. Friendly staff.

Things great EXCEPT for parking
- 3.5/5
I loved the view of the property I felt like having one Blanket was minimal sounds crazy but it’s so thin too . Our first original room the electrical wasn’t we were upgraded to another room but the tv didnt work as well . I think due to weather
- 5/5
This is a beautiful location with thoughtful design and a warm staff. We look forward to returning.
- 4/5
It was small but clean with nice warm decor
- 5/5
I first stayed here before the recent renovation, and I even stayed here during the renovation. I am giving the fresh look an enthusiastic two thumbs up. The room was elegantly redone and lobby is super! We enjoyed the pool deck and ordered from the pool menu. Loved the room refresh and turn down service. Everything was well thought out, and the evening cookies are always a hit.
- 5/5
Very nice rooms. Staff is super helpful and accommodating.
- 4/5
We loved the friendly staff, the fresh-baked cookies, the clean bedroom, and the access to the pool after checkout. The staff even gave us a key so we could continue using the pool for the day. After showering, the bathroom floor became very wet and water seeped into the bedroom carpet. The fan and air conditioner were loud and made it difficult to sleep. Despite this, I would absolutely stay here again, especially with a balcony view!
- 3/5
Ocean view was garden view and very disappointing. Be careful when you book this and call the hotel to ensure you get an actual ocean view.
- 5/5
This is a great place to stay with your significant other. Very peaceful and chill vibes.
- 4/5
Hotel was nice, parking price is outrageous but if you have a car you have to pay it. Our toilet kept not flushing so that
- 5/5
The vibe at this hotel is incredible, chill SoCal 70’s feel. Very friendly staff! We cannot wait to visit again!!
- 4/5
Should have a happy hour on top of the 3rd floor bar balcony area beautiful view
- 4/5
Clean
- 5/5
The views from the room and terrace, delicious chocolate chip cookies in the lobby, nice decor.
- 5/5
Very serene decor, staff was welcoming and offered good suggestions for food options. View from the terrace was stunning.
- 5/5
Nice quiet room overall the ocean. Beautiful!
- 3/5
Room was clean with a beautiful view. The draw back was the window screens were bent causing an obstruction. Also, the area where the carpet meets the bathroom tile had a partially protruding nail that stabbed the bottom of my foot a few times. Overall, nice accommodations with 10/10 location. $70 per night for parking is one of the highest charges I’ve ever paid, even at 5 star resorts.
- 1/5
This hotel is extremely overrated. Although the hotel was renovated in 2024, you can still tell it is outdated from a lot of details. Water was all over the floor once you use the shower. The hotel room is also very noisy. You can hear people walking on the beach walkway in the day and your neighbors talking in the night. Very bad. Not recommend!
- 5/5
Unique, beautiful design throughout.
- 5/5
Amazing room and place. Great price! Will come back
- 1/5
We paid $600 for a king bed with balcony and ocean view. We had a public walkway right in front of our room open to everyone so we had to keep the curtains closed and if you sat down on the balcony all you could see was a hedge in front of you that staff said was for our privacy. When I complained t ok the front desk they said I should have paid more to get a room on the top floor that had the unobstructed views. A total rip off and very very disappointing
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly. The inside room door lock was out of alignment and couldn't be used. This was reported to maintenance. The remodel is very nice with the exception of the brown rug that served as a trip hazard multiple times. It would be nice if an automatic building door opener could be installed. The doors are heavy and awkward to navigate in a wheelchair. G

Found our new favorite spot for staycations in Laguna. Hotel was great, perfect location, and great value. Loved it

Location is spot on for all to see and do! Remodel and views are amazing.

For parking and I didn’t even have a car. I found it a bit over priced but location was excellent.
- 5/5
The room was beautiful! All the details made it such a special experience. The beach view on the balcony was stunning.
- 4/5
Overall good, could be better. Room was next to lifeguard station and what I’m assuming are generators there were very loud.

- 5/5
The view was breathtaking. The room is very clean and the staff was awesome.
- 5/5
This little gem had everything I could have hoped for. From the moment I entered the lobby, I felt transported to the tranquility I so needed. The beach, the room, the staff, and the other guests did not disappoint. Congratulations on an exquisite remodel. 5 stars all the way!
- 5/5
Great staff and beautiful amenities. Would absolutely book again☺️
- 3/5
Ok
- 5/5
The location and views are so stunning it takes your breath away. You can walk to downtown easily. We just loved it.
- 5/5
We had a poolside room which was perfect for a morning swim. Would definitely recommend and would comeback when in area!
- 3/5
View was great however the walk ways to and from beach are public access through out the property and the public can view you sitting on balcony or in room. Could not use the hot tub both nights as its very small and full of children as well as a party in hallway near our room one evening. Made us uncomfortable and unable to go back to out room until it ended and people we not hanging outside our door. Way overpriced for an average place to just relax and get out to see the sights. Would stay elsewhere or rent an air bnb that is more reasoably priced. Cost us over $1000 per night once all the fees and the $70 per day parking added. Definitely way overpriced
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Best hotel in laguna. Amazing view and sounds of crashing waves. Staff was outstanding. Great little touches like hot cookies at 6pm every night, oversized bath towels, wonderfully scented lotion and soap. Location was ideal. We walked everywhere. While parking is super convenient, it is $70 a night which is a bit steep.
- 5/5
Need a RR on or near Pool . Thank you
- 5/5
So relaxing. Very nice room with a view. We had our dogs with us and it was easy to walk them. The food was excellent. Great place. We’ll be back.
- 5/5
Great location for access to the main beach and restaurants in Laguna Beach.
- 5/5
"I had a fantastic stay at Hotel! The staff were warm and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth and quick. My room was spacious, clean, The location is ideal, just a 5-minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend this hotel and would love to return!"
- 4/5
The food itself was good. We wouldn’t have minded the wait if we were recommended to order in the room or at least make us aware that it’a going to take some time so we can enjoy that hour with the view/beach or the pool.
- 5/5
Staff was great. Location perfect. Room great. Will stay again.
- 5/5
The best location. Perfect view of the ocean. I want to specially mention the bed linen is amazing!
- 5/5
Great location
- 3/5
Property was fine … didn’t like the foot traffic from my balcony no privacy
- 5/5
Beautiful place, great location.
- 2/5
Good location, but that's about it. The walls were so thin that we could hear someone coughing and talking all night in the room next door. The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine when it came on so it frequently woke us up. The shower door seal was broken so got water all over the floor whenever you used it. Also charged a $40 amenity fee, for what? Having a pool? And $70 for self parking. The alternative they give you is go find a metered spot on the street. Not ideal. I paid less than that the previous night for valet parking at a 4-star resort nearby.
- 4/5
The air conditioning was super noisy which meant for a poor night’s sleep. The $70 charge for a single night in the car park was a stinging surprise.
- 3/5
Cons: delayed check-in, noisy rooms (thunder steps upstairs above us, loud conversation after 10 pm on next door balcony, toilet had problem flushing, AC sprung a water leak)
- 5/5
fantastic location, lovely staff.
- 5/5
Beautiful views and a fantastic location. Our room was great and the bed super comfortable. Plenty of parking as well.
- 3/5
Property is extremely overpriced. It should be $300 per night less. Airconditioning system needs to be revamped. It is extremely noisy. On a good note, the food is excellent and it's great to have a bar and small restaurant in the lobby. Beautiful ocean views.
- 5/5
Cannot beat the location! Appetizer boards were freshly, expertly and stylishly prepared. Free underground parking is a real plus. We didn’t use the pool but the rooftop terrace was lovely for sunset and after. Management went out of their way to ensure we were happy.
- 1/5
AC unit above the bathroom sink leaked condensation and filled up my wife's purse with water overnight, ruined everything inside, toilet ran nonstop and wouldnt flush, and after paying $935 for the room I was charged another $140 for parking and 'fees' upon arrival
- 5/5
Looking forward to staying here again.
- 5/5
Amazing location with beach access and lovely views.
- 4/5
Great location & comfortable accommodations.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Great location.
- 5/5
Simply AWESOME views! Great coastal theme furniture. Very friendly staff. Excellent room service! Close to all the happening places, shopping, restaurants and literally in the heart of Laguna Beach! Highly recommend Urth cafe right across the hotel for breakfast!
- 3/5
The best part of this hotel is the location. It is just a stairway level away from Laguna Beach. The worst part is the incredibly loud AC unit. When it’s off the room gets too hot. When it is on, it sounds like a train passing through town, which made it hard to sleep at night.
- 5/5
We got a beautiful room with a gorgeous view of the beach. We enjoyed our days to the fullest at this very special hotel.
- 5/5
Great place!
- 5/5
Amazing stay at Laguna Beach. Hotel is quaint and has all the modern amenities needed. Location is central and walkable to everything. Loved waking up to the sound of the ocean. Rooms very comfortable. I am picky about beds and the bed was great! Slept very well. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Casa Loma was a beautiful stay! The staff was friendly and very helpful. Shout out to Ren and Dennis for going above and beyond to enhance our stay! Prime location in Laguna Beach. We can’t wait to be back!
- 5/5
Right on the beach , comfy beds and very cozy feel . Would definitely come back
- 5/5
Good location, great staff, close to great restaurants, unobstructed view of the ocean, and a few stairs to the sand.
- 5/5
Casa Loma exceeded our expectations! Wonderfully located on the beach and within walking distance to everything you could want! A complimentary cocktail upon arriving sets the tone. Wonderful patios to relax on and great little secluded areas to read or work if you don't want to stay in your room.
- 5/5
Amazing experience. We will be back!
- 3/5
Location
- 5/5
The best location with an excellent view!!!
- 5/5
View from balcony and the terrace was great. The California coast trail is right out the door
- 5/5
Excellent location on the coast with a nice walking path just outside the hotel. Comfortable room with a nice shower. Bathrobes could be more luxe and we miss the in room nespresso machines! Cookies in the evening are fantastic and staff is friendly and helpful.
- 5/5

- 5/5
We love this place
- 5/5
Staff was helpful, friendly, polite and very professional! Room was perfect with zero issues. Location is excellent! Couldn’t ask for a better spot. We would stay there again without hesitation!
- 5/5
We have been going to Inn at Laguna Beach (now Casa Loma) for years. We love the renovation! The only thing we miss is wine hour on the patio. The staff was wonderful, and of course the location was perfect! Beautiful view!
- 5/5
Pure awesomeness top to bottom
- 3/5
Beautiful location
- 5/5
The hotel was very modern and clean with a very friendly staff, and right on the beach which was both a drawback (public walkway could look into bedrooms) and a pleasure…to fall asleep with the sound of the ocean was wonderful! We will definitely be back..codfee machines in the bedrooms would have been a real asset!
- 5/5
Super friendly staff, clean rooms, gorgeous hotel
- 4/5
The bed was very comfy.
- 5/5
Great friendly service and fantastic views.
- 5/5
Updated rooms with great views.
- 2/5
Not the best experience here at Casa Loma. The staff was not very attentive and as a result service was lacking. No towels, no water and the security isn't great as there were non visitors using the facilities and being kicked out only after being reported. Charged amenity fees even though the amenities were lacking during our stay, as we never received any of the nightly milk and cookies. On top of the amenities, they want to charge you $60 a night to park even though the daily lots in area only charge $20. Rooms are way overpriced for the service and kind of rooms being provided. Best part of the hotel is the location but there are hotels across the street that are cheaper and just as convenient.
- 5/5
The staff were lovely and interesting
- 5/5
Exceeded my expectations!
- 5/5
What a fantastic place. And the people that work there were incredibly warm and helpful. I would stay there again without any doubts.
- 3/5
Checking in the upsold to an ocean view room. Told us they would notify us when ready. two hours later we decided to see if the room was ready. Supervisor proceeds to tell us the room promised was unavailable and the gal that upsold us didn't know there was a GLITCH in their system. Ended up with room facing busy PCH. Pool closes to early. The "restaurant" in the lobby is extremely slow for food service. Even a bagel. Go across the street to Starbucks. Ice bucket in the room holds enough for 2 beverages. Upon check in nothing was relayed to us about pool, restaurant hours, amenities in room, parking, etc. Hotel is only good if youhave an ocean view room for those prices.
- 5/5
Very enjoyable stay . Nice ,helpfult staff.
- 3/5
Pros: great location, beach adjacent, comfortable beds, bathrobes, rooftop terrace with great views. Cons: new owners made the hotel more trendy, which translated to a higher charge for most everything. Self parking was $60, resort fee $40. We checked in as returning guests and were treated less than because of using Expedia. We were told our Expedia booking meant we got a specific type of room. That specific room type, which he would not budge on, was a first floor, smaller room staring mostly at bushes rather than the ocean. He said an “upgrade” from our Expedia rate would be $300 more. We regretted our return, as our fond memories from the first visit to the property melted away. We love Laguna Beach and will pick another property next time.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean hotel. Fantastic view because I stay at Ocean view room
- 5/5
Perfect hotel if you want to stay in Laguna beach
- 5/5
Lovely service great room went above and beyond
- 5/5
Will come back again.
- 4/5
The small issues we did have were: -Parking garage is tiny and a bit dark, but parking in Laguna is bad all around, no problem. -The shower was incredibly small, would have loved the great water pressure and temp in a bigger area. - we ordered coffee, a bagel, and Açaí bowl via room service in the morning by their recommended text option and after 40 minutes we called the front desk to discover nobody got the order, it then took another 30 minutes to get the order. All in all this place is beautiful and right on the beach, it is expensive but i did enjoy my time overall and would return.
- 5/5
Great location an easy access to beach and downtown Laguna
- 5/5
Gorgeous property - perfect for a staycation or hosting out of town guests - the beach is a public area so keep that in mind as it gets VERY crowded on weekends
- 5/5
Beautiful location and terrific service. Decor was thoughtful and creative. Would definitely return.
- 5/5
Everything was nice
- 5/5
This place was so cute and clean. Loved my one-night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful too.
- 4/5
We have stayed here a few times. The”Village” rooms are small and noisy by the street. Rooms on upper floors are better. Our room on the 5th floor had a partial ocean view but no access to a balcony. Room on 2nd floor had a nice balcony and partial ocean view. Parking is expensive, considering the state of the garage parking - $60 per day. Staff is friendly and helpful. Property and rooms are charming, clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Great location, nice pool facilities, nice rooms. This boutique hotel goes out of its ways to add a little extra surprises. Very friendly staff as well.
- 5/5
Parking onsite is a bit crazy expensive ($60/day) but I would still stay again. Thank you Casa Loma for an amazing weekend!
- 5/5
A wonderful getaway.
- 5/5
My stay was incredible! An amazing staff, the view was beautiful and the room was incredible with the softest pillow and comforter ever. I would recommend this resort to everyone!
- 5/5
Beautiful view and great location
- 5/5
It’s beautiful and friendly staff.
- 3/5
Not only did we have to pay for parking but the garage literally damaged my car everytime I would come and go my car scraped on the ground ..and the rooms were extra small was expected bigger for the price.
- 5/5
Ri guy y in beach and recent renovation means everything is top notch
- 5/5
Great ambience and staff. Newly remodeled, great theme. Specially impressed with services provided by Sabrina, Judy and Davian!
- 5/5
The property is very dog friendly. The staff was great and we loved the pool.
- 5/5
Great location.
- 5/5
Great location. We had a poolside room that we were very happy with. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Close proximity to the ocean meant falling asleep to the sound of waves every night. The bedding and pillows are fabulous.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Breathtaking, and the beach was clean and beautiful! Would go back in a minute!!
- 5/5
Incredible hotel with great service and awesome views. Right on the beach and near restaurants. Will definitely stay again and definitely recommend.
- 5/5
Amazing views from our balcony! Very clean room!
- 5/5
Absolutely wonderful! Amazing views, service, drinks, food, comfort. Such a relaxing stay that fills your soul with peace. It’s a must try!
- 5/5
Beautifully updated and well appointed with spectacular ocean views
- 2/5
The property driveway was closed off so there was no where to park to check in. It took three calls to finally get to the front desk. They informed me there was a parking lot I could park in. Once parked the process was smooth. I think that if the main parking lot for check in is closed(the main entrance) that this should be shared in an email on where to park so we can check in.
- 5/5
Casa Loma is welcoming in every way beginning with the complimentary welcome cocktail offered by friendly staff. The location can’t be beat, right on the beach. The amenities were great, especially the cozy nook and tables set up to play backgammon. Great vibe and wonderful place to stay.
- 2/5
Property send to still be undergoing renovation. Front driveway was closed the entire stay. Extremely annoying. Need better signage in the hotel. Elevators are spotty as well. Lastly, rooms are small and showers leak to the floor easily.
- 5/5
Great location, clean room with a beautiful view of the ocean and a very attentive and friendly staff.
- 5/5
It was a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. The decor inside was also beautiful. Many restaurants were in walking distance. We will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Beautiful beach front property with a butique feel to it. Walkable to all major attractions in Laguna. Rooms are renovated and nicely decorated. Comfy bed and pillows. We really enjoyed our stay!
- 3/5
Property was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in an ocean view room and the view was awesome. My only criticism is the unusually high fees. Parking is $45 a night. Not valet… just parking. Just an fyi to those that might visit. There are resort fees but very few amenities. The pool is nice, but there is no full service bar and no onsite restaurant. Very nice place, but some unexpected sticker shock.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bedding and linens were so comfy! Great location and amazing views of the ocean.
- 5/5
Was a great place to stay!
- 5/5
Excellent location on path to Heisler Park. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Everything was top notch. Loved the cookies every afternoon.

Casa Loma is perfectly located in the heart of Laguna beach on Pacific Coast Highway next to Main Beach. Our king sized bed room had a balcony overlooking the beach, the ocean, and walkable tide pools. The staff at the hotel are super friendly, and will attend to every need. We will stay there again!

the only reason we didn't rate our stay as a 5, was the lack of an onsite cafe.

The hotel is amazingly refurbished, clean, beautiful and comfortable, and with these small touches that makes all the difference - and beyond all the staff exceeded our expectations. What I like in going into hotels is when I felt better than in my own cocoon called home. This was the case here : - beds, duvets and pillows are soft and airy like a cloud - shower and toiletries are high quality (I loved products so much that I asked to buy some, and it was possible) - you have all needed in your room to make your own margarita or tequila cocktail : opinel knife, green lemon... (with surcharge) and lot of snacks choices - free homemade cookies in the lobby from 6 to 7PM (and they are DE-LI-CIOUS) And without forgetting the exceptional location right above the sea and beach, with a small but very cosy swimming-pool, and all you need for food like Starbucks and Whole Foods in a few steps away. Honestly I will keep a great souvenir of my stay in this hotel and will for sure be coming back ! THANK YOU AND BRAVO to all the staff : you were so amazing and I loved every second of this enchanted parenthesis !
