Great location AC did not work and/or the remote was not in the room. Messaged the staff about it and got no response.

It has a restaurant on the ground and oil smells in all building. Thera are not air conditioner control devices in the room. They ask to not use the towel as a carpet, but I asked for one, and the clerk didn’t provide it

Nothing really. A bathroom in one of the rooms floated. Energy went out. Smell’s naftalina.

Only thing that wasnt perfect was the room didnt match the picture of the rooms for the website. We were still really happy with it though!

Good location....thats about it I don't recommend staying here for these reasons: 1. NO KITCHEN although showing on pics, which meant higher expenses due to being forced to eat out every meal (15+ eu per meal person). When we messaged the hosts to ask what they can do for us, they ignored our message. 2. Rooms are old with old furniture (photoshopped pics) and the halls smelled moldy. 3. Bad Wifi - couldn't connect to internet 4. My remote didn't work, couldn't watch tv 5. Kind of dirty, we have moldy shower curtains and old panties laying in our dresser

No heat but you can ask for a heater. I didn't need one but it was a little cold.

Good price and location. Not as clean and new as in the pictures. Hair in one bed. One room smelled of cigarette smoke (even though it was non-smoking). Neither room had hot water so we were unable to shower. They notified us it was fixed 3 hours after we had checked out.

I really enjoyed the location and the kitchen in the room was a nice surprise plus the glassware was nice for a cup of water. I think like that the shower was broken and it flood the bathroom.

In the street outside my room the party noise went very late.

DBV was a good place to stay if you are on a budget, but looking for a private room/private bathroom. The room was big with a little balcony (although a bit scary if you don't like heights!). There was a large wardrobe and the bathroom was a decent size as well. Everything was clean, albeit it could use a deep clean, but I was happy enough with the cleanliness. The room included a TV and a few little toiletries and extra towels. The lady running the Guest house was absolutely delightful and very accommodating/helpful. The location was good, depending where you are heading to. There's a great Mexican place across the road, an awesome Irish pub right next door and a couple Indian places which I didn't try but smelled amazing! The old town and most bars/restaurants were all within 10/15 minutes to walk. The cove beach was about a 15 minute walk whereas the main Meia Beach was just over 20 minutes. I felt very safe there as a solo female traveler. I never ran into anyone else staying there and the locks both on my room door and outside door felt very secure. I don't have any complaints and would definitely stay there again for the price. I would say the only real downside was the outlets. The only one close to the bed wasn't working well and I would recommend bringing a small extension cord as even the one 'close' to the bed was too far for my normal lead to use in bed while it was charging. The bed was very hard, which I didn't mind too much but might be an issue for some people.

It’s in a quieter area but close to everything. The owners were very nice. Uncomfortable beds and the air conditioning in our room was broken. We were provided a fan upon request but it was still quite hot
