This is a gorgeous property, and conveniently located for Walnut Creek and Lafayette. The lobby, and grounds are beautiful. The rooms are spacious and the bed cozy. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I used the pool, lobby, and bistro. All were A plus. I will stay again if I’m ever in town.

The room was very large and spacious and I loved the bath robes and we enjoyed having coffee in the room and the sitting area was so nice… The bed was so comfortable and I slept so well, the only thing that we would change is maybe having one softer shorter pillow for our necks. They have a wonderful bar and restaurant in the hotel and we went right away to the bar and then in the morning we had a wonderful breakfast in the restaurant. It’s a beautiful place! And really good food and coffee! The hotel is very conveniently located close to a cute little town area, but also easily accessible to the highway to get to Orinda where we were visiting friends… I highly recommend it and would love to stay there in the future

Next to the freeway, nothing to walk to no early check-in no toilet trees in the room. It’s not a five star resort. It’s really a four star trying to be more than it is.

I’ve stayed at the best hotels all over the world, this is the first time I’ve ever felt comfortable in a hotel.

The hotel and its grounds are truly lovely and their staff (shout out to Terrance at the front desk!) is amazing. Their onsite restaurant, The Park Bistro and Bar”, is fantastic as well. The food was very well prepared and beautifully presented. We look forward to returning to Lafayette Park Hotel on our next visit to the area. Thank you!

The room was excellent and amazingly quiet. Exactly what I needed. The staff are all very friendly. The gym and pool area small but well appointed and private. I’ll certainly be back.

The pool was heated to 86 and was very nice. The experience is special and quaint. A European type experience. The park restaurant was also a unique elevated experience. Loved it all.

The air conditioning doesn’t stay on throughout the night so the room got hot and stuffy despite quite cool temps outside. This is a big deal for me at least.

The property was okay, rooms were decently updated. The restaurant attached was a little overpriced for what we received. Staff at front desk were a little cold to approach however, the rest of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I was not expecting it to be right off the freeway. And the bar closes pretty early.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were home. This hotel and its staff were absolutely amazing. It's cozy and reminds me of an Italian villa with wonderful attention to detail. The bar and restaurant have excellent martinis and food. The housekeeping was impeccable. We can't wait to stay here again!

This is a traditional, older style French hotel. It is very comfortable. The pool, jacuzzi and spa are all very nice. There are a lot of groups, business and personal conferences etc., so just beware that there could be a lot of activity. The staff is warm, and always helpful.

Everything about this property is comfortable. The staff is so friendly and helpful and accommodating, the rooms are beautiful, and it is an easy place to stay in such a busy part of the East Bay!

The room was so spacious, super clean, and very comfortable. This is the only true 4.5 star hotel in East Bay. No bell person to help with bags was the only reason I say 4.5 stars. The Happy Hour is the BEST! Super prices, generous cocktails for extremely prices, great food that can serve as a true dinner. The service is superb. Breakfast is high quality. What's not to love!

We were a group of 6 celebrating a milestone birthday. The front desk sent us a complimentary bottle of champagne and some cheeses. We had to call housekeeping a few times (for coffee, extra towel) and they very polite and were at our door in minutes with our request. We all had spa treatments and they were fantastic!

This was so fault of the hotel, however there was a holiday party going on, and it was very loud into the late evening.

We received an upgrade since our room wasn’t ready as we were an hour early for check-in. It was a beautiful, spacious deluxe king with a sitting area on the 4th floor. The room was recently renovated and it was very clean and well appointed. The hotel itself is very charming with friendly service. Would definitely recommend!

Room always great expect parking difficult on Saturday night with weddings and people were in pool late at night. With my room adjacent to pool I could hear the noise late at night. Not good

Just the businesses nearby were sort of dicey feeling. Went for a walk to 7-11 down the street and was slightly dicey feeling but nothing horrible. Hotel is great. Restaurant is good. Could use some in room snack options. The tv in room was awesome. Very large and flexible

Beautiful hotel and an amazing room! Adjoining restaurant was perfect for breakfast both mornings. Location was great for getting to and from Cal, and the Bart station was 1.5 miles away with a quick 30 min ride into San Fran. Loved everything about this stay!

This boutique hotel is a gem. It is a beautiful hotel, with large rooms and really comfortable beds. There are so many inviting areas (including a couple of courtyards) with great seating. The outdoor pool is lovely. The staff I encountered were all helpful. In walking distance to many area shops and restaurants, thou you’d never know it while staying here. What’s not to love?

From arrival to departure our stay was fantastic! The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were roomy, clean & luxurious. The spa treatments were above & beyond. The pool was a mini oasis with a bar and food delivery. The attached Bistro & Bar had excellent food! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It was a quick trip for a family celebration. Check in and out were both efficient. The hotel is very convenient. We had breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant and both the food and service were excellent.

The in-room coffee machine was an nespresso machine and it was absolutely fabulous morning coffee! The room was very quiet and overlooked a courtyard which was very pretty. The pool was heated and the hot tub was just right.

I really love this hotel! I was sad I had to eventually checkout. The hotel has a lot of appealing architecture and many historical items decorating the halls and grounds. The pool and spa area are fantastic and have poolside food service. There is also a Bistro Bar with a happy hour. The hotel is a short walk to downtown Lafayette as well.

The Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa is the Best hotel in the SF East Bay!! We loved our stay here. The staff and accommodations were outstanding.

Hotel is very nice, but room was not ready on time. 4 pm check in is a bit late, and arriving at 3 pm resulted in room not ready, and we were told it would be at 4pm. Checked bags, and were told we would get phone call when room was ready, and we should claim our bags then (they would not bring bags to room). Did not get call, waited until 4:30, and went back to front desk. Were told room was ready,, but they were too busy to call us. Not the actions of a good premier hotel.

Cute hotel with a wonderful heated pool and spa on the 3rd floor. Restaurant was nice and food was tasty but a little overpriced for the quality. Drinks were good. Windows opened but had no screens and construction could be heard in the morning. The robes in the closet were a nice touch, and the toiletries in the bathroom smelled good but were pretty basic. It is located right next to a cemetery. For the price I expected it to be a little more updated but it was still a nice stay and the room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Beautiful hotel, pool, and restaurant. Rooms were large and clean. Beds were huge. Only thing I would change is their pillows weren’t comfortable. I wish they offered a couple options for pillows since there are four on each bed. But overall, this is a stunning hotel and perfect spot to stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this boutique hotel. Unfortunately we were here for just the weekend, but we will definitely return for a longer stay. The restaurant on the premises was really good.

The bellhop, housekeepers and ladies at the front desk were wonderful. The gentleman who checked us in was not helpful and boarder line rude. Expedia did not follow through on my request for a handicapped bath which made our stay difficult having to go out and purchase a bath stool. Parking was limited and not handicapped accessible that I could see.

Upon check in I was told that I received the benefit of being on a higher floor but upon entering the elevator and looking at the key card I was actually on the 2nd floor which is where the floor of rooms began. Overall, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Once great hotel is now dated and only a good spot. Only real choice in or close to Lafayette. Bar offers and great atmosphere with a warm fireplace and service. Dinning room food was good, with a nice selection. Initial contact with staff on check in (young woman) was very fair and indifferent. Later contact was very good by a more senior individual

It was a one night stay for a wedding nearby. Hotel was clean, cozy. The ceiling is kind of low and we heard noises from the room above ours. Hotel concierge was really welcoming. I inquired on their website about early check in but I never got a response.

Have stayed at thdd we Lafayette many times over the years. While we love it, the rooms have not been renovated in over 15 years. Bathrooms are really old with stains on the wall paper and paint or wood peeling up across the bottom of the door. Furniture is old from the early 2000’s. Owners need to invest in room renovations sooner rather than later.

Please take the shuttle availability off, i didn’t rent a car because I was told that there is shuttle or car in use within 3 miles radius. It isn't available and they don't have any form of transportation. For the future guest, let them know

My stay at the Lafayette Park Hotel is always perfect. Chris the manager make sure that I have every comfort Melinda at the front desk is always accommodating very professional and very engaging. This is the most perfect hotel in the Bay Area. I would never stay anywhere else after for a few times everyone calls me by name and I really appreciate that rather than being called ma'am.!

Room and facilities are excellent. Bistro is really good as well. Not well located for walking into town especially at night, but very accesible if driving.

I had my bachelorette party there 14 years ago and have been coming back for many overnighters since. It has become a tradition with my girlfriend and I to come stay 1-2 times per year. Love it!
