    This hotel is certainly run down and could use some updates. The shower floor felt very spongy, like you could step right through it. We also found a pill in the room (assuming a gel Tylenol but not certain.) The carpet also felt a little damp- like it needed a dehumidifier for the room. Unfortunately the sleeping arrangements were not as pleasant either. Easily heard our neighbors down the hall and upstairs at all times of the night. Unfortunately very disappointed with the accommodations.

    Thank you for a great mini vacation. However, a few things could have been done better. 1. The lobby was not very clean; mostly the floors and the bathroom in the lobby. 2. Most hotels end breakfast at 10 am. Breakfast at 9 am was a little early. The rooms were pretty clean, and I love the standing shower. Overall, it was a good experience.

    Friendly staff and comfortable room that had all the necessary amenities that travelers want. We arrived early and staff made extra efforts to get us into our room a bit early, which gave us extra time to visit nearby Niagara Falls. Shower dripped all night which could not be heard if bathroom door was closed, but that’s why only 4 stars for condition of property.

    The hotel lobby, rooms, stairways and everything else were very clean. The breakfast bar is okay- there was bagels, bread and pastries. 2 kinds of cereal. Packaged oatmeal, yogurt, apples and a waffle machine. There were eggs and sausage each morning we were there and those were not that great but overall it was okay. Good coffee! The pool room was clean and warm but the actual pool is COLD. The room did have AC that worked well! The bathroom fan was squeaking which was more of an annoyance than an issue. The beds were very comfortable. Overall it was a decent stay!

    Off the beaten path (not on the highway) to harder to find than expected. Understaffed. Very nice woman trying to run the entire hotel on her own and could not possibly put an end to all the rowdy guests by herself. No food nearby. And not much in the convenience fridge at the hotel. Room clean.

    Cleaning staff is quite noisy. Breakfast should be served at a more reasonable time, perhaps between 7 and 10 a.m., instead of the current 6 to 9 a.m. The folding bed is outdated and uncomfortable, and the springs are felt. Instead of providing numerous shampoo and conditioner bottles, consider offering lotion bottles as well. Additionally, the air conditioner does not blow cold air.

    This hotel refused to do anything or make it right from a serious situation. I made two reservations on behalf of my husband who has never been to Buffalo. They solely came from out of country to attend the Sabres' playoff game because a family member plays on the team and this location's proximity to the arena seemed great. The floor they were on had two rooms full of people and over capacity. It was reported to staff that they were threatened by a guest in the hallway who was under the influence. Smoking was happening in the rooms nearby. The staff mentioned in the elevator, before my husband said anything, that they were going to tell the front desk about it. My husband has severe asthma and it deeply affected his breathing during the stay. At check out, they were told those parties were going to be evicted. The hotel has now refused to take responsibility. This establishment should be completely embarrassed for the complete lack of safety to guests. We will never return and will encourage others, including friends and family travelling to Buffalo, to never stay at this hotel.

    Totel is very smoky. Other guests were smoking in nearby rooms and nothing was done. The smell of cigarette smoke was very bad. Unfortunately, I have severe asthma and was told nothing could be done. If I could have found another hotel I would have left for health reasons. Sadly, I won't stay again. We were here last minute to see a family member who plays for the Sabres. I wish I could get a refund.

    Very quick check-in, and the room itself seemed clean. The location was nice, and there was plenty of parking. The staff very friendly! The bathroom was kind of gross with dirty hand prints all over the door, and hair on the towels. The biggest thing would be the walls, they're paper thin. I could hear every single noise out in the hall like it was happening next to my head, which was impressive because the rooms are quite large. I had a hard time getting to sleep with all the noise from other rooms.

    The location Room 121 had a whole in the wall, ripped head board, I could hear the neighbor next door peeing The bed was awful. No hairdryer and only one wash cloth,Needs a new mattress. Moved to room 324 much better bed but it was the queen. Gave it another try the following weekend (traveling for my sick family member) room 318 was assigned at first and there was white stuff all over the chair and smelled moved to 316 and was ok, bed needs to be replaced and there was loud music and partying across from us. Then seen an article on fb a level 3 sex offender was staying in room 324

    The room was booked mainly so we could take the kids swimming. Upon check in we had mentioned that and not once was it made clear that the heater was broken the water was freezing and we were unable to swim. On top of that when entering the room I noticed the marker drawn all over the walls. The paint chipping off the walls. Looked like smashed bugs on the bottom of the picture. The smoke detector was non existent as the wires were just hanging from the ceiling. Sheets were so covered in hair we slept on our own blankets we brought. Oh there was also one light bulbs put of 3 lamps so room was dark.I would never book here again.

    We had two rooms booked for two nights. Unfortunately, upon arrival the toilet overflowed in one room and it took about an hour before the room was cleaned up. Secondly, the indoor pool was FREEZING and only two of the five us could go in it was so disappointing. On the Sunday morning around 9am one of the maids was talking so loud outside of the room we couldn’t sleep any longer. Also there was a tooth floss/pick on one of the rooms night tables upon arrival. These issues led to just an ok stay for our family of five. Somewhat disappointing.

    I attempted to leave a review on the hotels website but have yet to hear back. The check in and room were nice but the cleaning staff woke us up at 8:30 am and attempted to enter our room. Check out is not until 11. We are extremely upset by this because we were in town for a funeral and were physically and mentally exhausted. We just wanted to sleep in until closer to check out. If we had not put the dead bolt on and the cleaning staff was successful at entering the room, this would have become a legal matter. Being woken up, disturbed, and then almost having someone walk in our room is a huge invasion of privacy. We hope this issue can find some sort of resolution. We are disappointed and no longer have trust. It made our already very sad trip, even worse.

    That evening the climate control was not working and was set at 64 degrees and the heat ran all night making it extremely hot and uncomfortable to sleep. Noise upstairs as well was waking us up early....just not what I expected for the price of the room.

    Staff thought someone from our room was stealing snacks. So they called us at 1 something in the morning woke us all up. We went down there to correct the situation staff member dj was very rude. Then he did his job and realized it wasnt us but no apology we requested a supervisor but there wasnt one on premises he said there would be at 7am and there wasnt May was there instead. May apologized. However only getting 3 hours of sleep defeated the purpose of staying at a hotel. I wasnt offered a discount for the horrible interruption or poor customer service or lack of training on DJs part. We will not stay there again.

    The room was not the cleanest. The bed linens and pillow cases were stained. The curtains were stained. The chair in the room was stained and had a cigarette burn in it. The toilet filled continuously all night. The overall appearance of the hotel was run down. Drop ceiling tiles were sagging, carpet in hallways was stained, the elevator was filthy, and the ice machines didn’t work. When I got off the elevator to my floor there was a strong smell of marijuana in the hallway. I was only staying one night otherwise I would have requested to cancel any remaining nights I had and sought other accommodations.

    For being a pet-friendly hotel, the front desk staff lady was not very understanding or accepting of us traveling with our small dog. The front desk person called us a few times when our dog made a whimper or barked for a short period of time, during day time hours and when someone walked by the door. And we were also told that we are not supposed to leave our dog alone in the room when we went to grab lunch and dinner….I have never been told that at a pet friendly hotel ever! And she also made comments upon us checking in that “she hoped our dog won’t cause any problems” upon us checking in.

    Once i walked in the room it had a stench of feet. Towels weren’t cleaned had stains toilet overflowed twice on us the air conditioner keep turning off when we had it on. When I booked online it didn’t ask me for a deposit after paying 355 for the weekend and he still hounded me for the 100 dollar deposit for something that wasn’t worst it

    Couldn’t get into room because key didn’t work. Everyone key didn’t work and it was a Bills game. Imagine a bunch of people in bills gear waiting in the lobby. The room had a weird smell. The shower door wouldn’t stay closed. The bed wasn’t comfortable at all.

    The towels provided were stained and appeared unclean. I found hair in the bed, which indicates the room had not been properly prepared. The entire room had an unpleasant odor. Additionally, there was a serious issue during check-in. I was initially told that I was already checked in, only to learn that my room had been mistakenly assigned to another guest with my same last name. My credit card was kept on file despite this mistake, which raises serious concerns about security and professionalism. This level of service is unacceptable. I expect a full explanation of how such errors occurred

    This is a Mediocre hotel in the middle of an industrial area. Breakfast was horrible. Common areas and staircase has not been maintained properly and had all kinds of odour. The rear and side exit doors were propped open by the cleaners all the time. Stair was stinking with cigarette smoke and ash all over. Will never go here again.

    The property was not well maintained, many things were broken, I had to ask for a hair dryer and although the housekeeping staff was very nice, I saw how they struggled to find one for many rooms were missing the hair dryers. Beds were comfortable. Carpets were dirty and burned in some spots. Bathrooms were dirty. Breakfast was good.

    I wish you could turn the bathroom light on without the fan turning on. The bathroom was clean but smelled moldy- I thought it might be the shower curtain. The bed very comfortable and I like that there was a refrigerator in the room. Overall a good stay - just ANNOYING about the tv

    It looks nice from the outside but that’s about it. It was dirty with broken tile near the side entrance. The bathroom sink was not connected to the counter top, the tub was dirty, baseboard was missing near the bed and the carpet had stains on it. I’ve stayed in LaQuinta on several occasions. This felt more like a cheap motel that charges too much.

    I stayed two nights on separate days of the week as an in-between of a road trip. I specifically booked the hotel room because it said it slept five. The room only included two beds and the bathroom faucet was unattached, though it did work. When I asked the front desk how the room slept five, she apologized and offered a roll away at no charge. I explained that I would be back in a few days and she said she would make a note for that stay for the same condition. Upon return, there was no note, so I explained the situation to the new staff who initially agreed. In this room, the toilet didn't work and had to be flushed manually. Later in the evening, after giving us a roll away, the staff said he checked in with the previous staff who said I lied about getting the roll away for free and that she, instead, forgot to charge me the first night. I reiterated the story, but he said he would have to charge me for the roll away. I decided not to argue and just not return to this hotel. When I got back from my trip, I realized that he also charged me the roll away for the first night without my permission. Horrible experience here. Would never stay in a La Quinta again.

    half the lights did not work half the sockets did not work to charge electronics TV did not work until last morning Two of three ice machines were out of order No extra roll of toilet paper, had to go to front desk to get one at 5:00am the ceiling started to leak They helped by given my husband a bucket! No maintenance and they basically said too bad no refund because you booked through hotels.com so talk to them Spoke with several other guests who all said there were issues with no light bulbs and the remote When they requested light bulbs they were told there were none and when they requested the staff get bulbs from an unused room the staff said they could not do that!

    Check in was easy, but room fell short of expectations. No towels, missing sheet, dirty chair. The indoor pool was cold and looked dirty. The hotel texted me to ask if I needed anything, and I replied requesting the missing items but nothing came of it. I expressed my concerns with the front desk and she said she would make a note for the management: nothing came of that.

    I stay was ok. Comfortable bed. Hotel has some signs of wear and tear. Biggest issue was in the morning. I went down to the lobby for coffee at 5:30 as I had early meetings to get to. Staff was very rude. They told me multiple times that breakfast wasnt open. I explained that i was getting coffee and not eating. They continued to insist that breakfast wasnt' open. I wasn't sure why they were being so rude as i explained a couple times that i was only getting coffee. They didn't stop me from getting coffee but continued to repeat that breakfast wasnt open. Maybe they didn't want me in the lobby area? I couldn't tell why they were so rude. I assumed they had a rough overnight shift or something. Not a fun way to start the day honestly.

    Hard to see the sign to get onto the property - sign should be elevated. However, the outside, lawn is well kept. When the entrance door opened. I thought oh my, what have I gotten myself into. The lobby was not kept (dirty). I got there after 4pm. The sofa in the lounge had soil on it - The elevator was fitly beyond reason and stayed this way for the duration of time I was there. Went for breakfast the following morning - tables weren't clean, coffee spilled was on the floor, I took a few napkins to wipe the area a bit - only apple serve as fruits. Attendants at desk and cleaning staff was pleasant.

    When we first walked in it smelled like dirty cat litter, neighbors were up partying all night and keep me and the kids up all night, bathroom lighting was terrible, went to plug in my phone on the same wall as the TV and the TV turned off, and unable to use the pool because the water was freezing!

    Stay was quiet. Pool was closed which was a disappointment. Breakfast was ok. Some sausages were uncooked and the eggs looked like they had been sitting for awhile when we went down 15 minutes after breakfast was open.

    It was only for one night, My reservation was for a double bed but when i arrived the had me in a one bed, very accommodating in getting it changed. They kept $25 dollars and I had to dispute it because my receipt doesn’t show and additional charges.

    My stay was insane. Smoke detectors beeping all night and the fire alarm going off every hour. Would definitely not recommend anybody stay here.. the building needs maintenance and a deep cleaning for sure.. very upsetting to pay as much as I did for my room and early check in to have these problems..

    From the outside, the hotel appeared new and well-maintained. However, as soon as I stepped inside, I was immediately hit with a strong smell of marijuana, despite the hotel being advertised as a non-smoking establishment. As I made my way to the room, I was shocked by the level of uncleanliness—the carpets were filthy, and upon inspecting the bed, I found hair all over the sheets and pillows, which were not only dirty but also stained yellow. The overall condition of the room was unacceptable. I was so dissatisfied that I checked out just an hour after arriving. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to issue a refund, making this experience even more disappointing. I will never be staying at this hotel chain again.

    Nice to stay in an updated LaQuinta. Room was large and well appointed. Front desk staff was helpful. Only issues were some property conditions (the sliding front doors were broken and our door did not close properly) Upon checkout, we did notify the front desk and they were going to check the lock so that helps.

    I have stayed at many La Quintas and never have i had an experience like this. When I brought everything to attention of the front desk, the lady was clearly disbursed by the fact I would mention anything. She was on personal phone calla on her cell and anytime someone came to the front desk she asked her personal call to hold on. The next day I informed someone else of the room issues. He took note of the items that required repair and was shocked when I showed him pictures.

    The room was not ready for 3 pm we had to come back after the football game to check in . 1st floor ice machine was not working , the pool was out of service. In our room- the remote for the tv was missing , the climate control was turned off in the room and the coffee machine had a missing piece , so no in room coffee in the AM . We heard at least 3 different dogs barking from 3 different rooms during late evening . We were on the ground floor . On the flip side the room was clean .

    I was alone, and did not feel I was safe throughout the night. Maybe not as much the hotels fault, but there was banging on mine and neighboring doors around 6am, rooms shaking and yelling throughout the night. I was terrified throughout the night, and got very little sleep. I was fearful to open my door and see what was going on. Overall not a great trip.

    Absolutely the most disgusting, filthy hotel I have ever stayed in. From the bedding to the carpet to the bathroom and the scary gross shower floor. La Quinta should either do an overhaul of this place or tear it down.
