Budget Inn La Puente

Clean rooms & a very helpful & courteous management. Since it is on a main thoroughfare, it can be noisy on the weekend. Amenities are average but they are there if you want to spend on them. Free continental breakfast. Not sure how it was since I didn't use it.

The receptionist was very helpful in accommodating a change in rooms from upstairs to downstairs.

The doors did not have locks on them. When I asked for a room with a lock they said none of the rooms had locks but it was safe.

No lamp in room, towels like sandpaper, lots of street noise.

The latch to lock the door was broke, the sink squirted water to the side when turned on, dirty, the "breakfast" was rotten apples, stale slices of bread and cereal without milk. The front desk person walked around barefoot which leads me to believe other unsanitary practices are allowed. Right when we areived the another front desk person came out and started yelling to move our car down further so they can save the closer parking spots for staff and they only took cash but didnt say that until I got their so you would have to pay an atm fee to take out cash if you werent prepared. Lastly, you can hear every car passing by as if you were sleeping on the curb.

It wasn't good condition. The only thing that was missing was additional blanket. We only had sheets.

The room look clean, but I found a huge cockroach! The bathroom wasn’t that clean.

No frills place, clean & quiet, regular room service. Big plus for having a microwave in the room and a two door mini fridge with separate freezer and fridge compartments

Our stay in La Puente was changed due to a family emergency that we couldn't go back home. My wife spoke to the lady at counter that needed another day. She said no problem, she's was concerned about wife's brother. When we came back to hotel, lady at the counter spoke to my wife and how's your brother. He's doing fine, he had 5 bypasses in his heart. Thank you Budget Inn for your help. Thank you for the cleaning staff.

Vending machines have lots of snack options and reasonable prices.

Our stay was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Good size TV great water pressure in the shower. Room nice and clean.

The hotel and the staff were very good, I was moved to another room when I first checked in to behind the building and the facility next door were really noisy late and early. I don’t recommend the rooms in back of the building if you’re looking for a piece and quiet stay. Anyway I enjoyed the hotel and room amenities/ ambiance.

I would stay here again if in the area and would recommend this place as well.

For the price of our stay it was good, could’ve been worse! Generally clean room, except we found a Red Bull in the mini fridge upon arrival.

The entire place is clean including the parking lot. Safe place. Great location to grab something to eat. Continental breakfast is good, they have a variety to choose from.

My door didn’t have a second lock. I asked and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. The fridge was also not working. And they didn’t care.

charged me a $100 cash deposit. who carries cash these days? had to go to a ATM to pay the cash deposit. they were very rude about it too. as if i already should have known about it.

Dirty and disgusting, yellow stained bedsheets and stiff ass mattress, also you get kicked out on Sundays at 11am with all your belongings and told to come back after 3pm

The bed was stiff as a board. Without exaggeration, the firmest bed I ever did not get to have a full night of sleep on. I requested a different room upon arrival to the property and there weren’t any. The next morning I requested a room again. The manager also told me all of the beds were the same firmness. Since they could not provide a solution to my dilemma, I checked out that morning and shortened my planned stay. I would steer everyone from this property!

This is a very clean, very quiet hotel with nice amenities like a fridge and a microwave. I would give it a higher rating were it not for the very unfortunate lighting in the rooms, which is sterile and blinding. A couple end table lamps would boost this to 4 stars.

I didn’t like that i couldn’t get my money back for trying to check out a day early.

The floor is wooden and sticky, may need to be mopped durong room service. At night our room had a sudden loud buzz and we didnt kbow what it was. it also occured in the morning at checkout. maybe it was the unit itself but it was very very loud. Unit 211 be cautious.

Nice location

Left a note at the door for her. Rest of my stay was fine after that. The cleaning lady was very nice and thorough with my room after that incident.

The hotel stay was good for the most part. The hotel is pretty clean. I did wake up to someone singing and playing his guitar at 4 a.m. in the morning. This was my only complaint about staying here. The maid was friendly and helpful,

Being in town last minute on a unplanned business trip for a long weekend holiday, I’d thought I have trouble finding a place last minute, not in this case. The inn keepers were very friendly, the rooms were very CLEAN and most importantly, it was a safe well lit parking area. The cherry on top was the microwave and refrigerator in the room! We’ll done. Im coming back for sure. Thank you!

This place was a regular for us, wasn’t the best but it was ok. The older man at front desk was nice. Now there’s a rude lady at front desk that has a hard time even letting go of a blanket for customers. Use the heater she says, Wow! Then I called front desk because we had neighbors fighting, slamming doors and she laughed. She tells me to go outside and see what room number it is. Even though she has my room number already. Some how in her imaginary world she thinks I’m going outside so they don’t see me trying to look at their room number all while they’re fighting and not get hurt in the process. Oh yes hello, I’m just here trying to look at your room number so I can report you guys fighting. Really lady?! It’s your hotel do your job!! Take a class on customer service please. Customer service just terrible, never again.

Front desk lady is very rude. We had a very difficult time even trying to get a blanket, she insisted we use the heater. Then we had the neighbors fighting and slamming doors, called front desk and lady laughed. She insisted on me going outside to tell her the room number, really?! You knew mine why didn’t you just come up and hear it for yourself. Really I’m going outside so they know it’s me complaining, then get into conflict with them for you. It’s your hotel you’re the one responsible to fix all problems. I didn’t even hear them call the room or come up at all to tell them anything. So we decided to go out but when we returned it was the same thing! Neighbors fighting at 1am shouting and door slamming. We were regular customers but not any more. The other person at the front desk (an older man) was a lot nicer. Bad customer service now.

The place was nice and sorrounded with small businesses. You get what you paid for because there's no cabinet to hang your clothes, no ironing board and the blanket was thin-not appropriate for cold weather. Wifi was too slow. The rest are all good.

I stayed here last Xmas time as well. Great hotel! Very clean and quiet. Check in and Check out smooth and quick. Awesome price for Los Angeles. Burger King, Jack in the Box and McDonalds within 3 blocks. Nice view of the mountains. Already planned for next year.

It had many facilities near, we could walk to so many convenience stores :)

Updated rooms and friendly staff. My family always stays here when visiting local family in the area. Have never had any complaints about noise or safety concerns.

This place was absolutely dirty as per pictures. After coming back to get food that I ended up not eating, there were bugs on the bed. Smh. Spider webs when I got there and no lock on the door. I ended up leaving that same night.
