I loved the price. We had a different reservation fall through at a different hotel, and we were able to get an amazing deal here at the last minute. If you're looking for fancy, this is not it. However, the room and bathroom had everything we needed!

The staff were extremely friendly. The guy on duty the night we were to check in called us early to inform us that there was no breakfast as stated when we booked but there was coffee. I thought that was nice to let us know ahead of time. Bed was comfortable. It is very outdated and there is lots of wear and tear. Very noisy but that was mainly due to road construction literally across the street. Vanity area light not working. Commode wobbly. It’s pretty run down, but I slept well, so that’s a plus. There WAS coffee as we were informed, but only packets of regular sugar and creamer. No fun stuff for coffee, so had to go elsewhere to get my coffee fix.

The room smelled like smoke, mildew, and piss in the bathroom. The wifi allowed me to connect but showed I was connected with no internet. I booked this room based on them having breakfast as well and they are not providing it. When I called at night the nightshift worker did nothing to help me and told me to wait till the morning when the manager was there. When I saw the manager Sam, I showed him my husband and I's phones showing no internet and told him about the smoke smell along with no breakfast and he said he will discount my next time staying but that was all he could do. This is not sufficient.

Nothing at all. Very very ugly place and very dissatisfied. The motel 6 and others with similar categories are better than this one. Nothing at all. The pictures online looked nicer and clean than it really the property is. The building is very old not in good condition. The mirrors in the bedroom area was cloudy not clear, you couldn’t see yourself almost at all , the one in the bathroom super old not clear to see either. The worse situation was, when taking a shower the strong smell of the walls paint came out with the steam and made me sneezed horribly and a lot and gave me allergies. The hot and cold faucet where crazy, when both were mixed the water was changing to cold, then hot and then warm at the same time and never stop doing that. For sure, I will never come back here and I will never recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel was clean compare to what you paying but it is really unsafe ,somebody else has the room key he opened the door at 7am that time i was slept and i jumped,he ran away,so i shoked,i got panic attacked,i went vacation to relax but they did not let me.

Was double charged for the security deposit and the gm refuses to call me back

The rooms had very bad smoke smell. The Bed made a noise when we moved around it. The experience was not that good. The staff while checking in was good and answered all my question, while checkout there was another staff who was bit rude.

I asked for a extra clean room for my baby and wife, very clean. Except my booking said complimentary breakfast and there was none. Not even a ice machine, got locked outta my room three night because cards would function properly.

We have stayed here many times, but this last time was very disappointing. The room was dirty, no towels or wash rags. The clerk that checked us in was incredibly sweet, however, the girl that replaced her was not. When we asked for towels and a blanket she literally snapped at us because she “had to go to the laundry room” to get it. This was our go to place when in town, but sadly, not anymore. I hope it gets better.

I was very disappointed, and upset with my stay on January 31st. Firstly. when I arrived I was told I would have to pay cash for my room because the credit card machine was down; even though I had already paid for it on Expedia. After she got me checked in, I was given a room that had not been cleaned. When I told her about it, she gave me another room, but proceeded to rant about how she was working six days a week, and how it it wasn't her job to clean the rooms. Once I was given another room, I went to bed because I had leave early in the morning. Around 8:30 pm another group of guests became very noisy- laughing, yelling, and a barking/whining dog. I went to the front desk (different Lady) and told her about it, because the phone in my room was not working, and she said she would talk to them. 30 minutes later, they were even louder. I went back to the front desk, and she told me there was no one in the room next to mine, and that it must be a T.V. turned on in one of the other rooms, even though the voices were clearly coming from outside and there were doors slamming repeatedly. By 10:30 I had had enough. I packed my stuff, went to the front desk and threw the key on the counter, since she had money laying out counting it, and told her to check me out. I then left the facility, not waiting for a receipt, and drove home. Overall it was a very poor experience, and the staff were very unprofessional.

The property was run down bad. Had holes in the wall, electrical light switch was smashed in by shower, a/c and fridge made horrible loud noises all night long. Pretty sure they were selling drugs couple rooms down. Different people coming at all hours. Worst experience ever at a La Quinta. They need to burn that one to the ground.

Surprise this hotel has any business! Limited hot water and rooms smells terrible(moldy). I’m sure this hotel has been impacted by water damage of some sort.

Air conditioner didn’t work, the room had dead roaches in it.

The team was friendly and helped us with the many issues we had. The issue was the property itself, there were many issues regarding electricity, water temperature, and water avaliability. Luckily the team helped us with our issues and by the second day of our stay we were in rooms with water and electricity. However, we were left with no warm water throughout the majority of our stay.

The front desk associate was definitely very nice and helpful, check in was a nice and easy process. My only major complaint was the housekeeping associate would knock VERY HARD on my door at exactly 8am.... the rooms need a DND sign. Other than that. It was a good 3 night stay.

The absolute worst part of all in this disgusting place? Our deadbolt lock didn't work. It just spun around and around and the lock on top of the door was half hanging off the wood. It would've taken a strong breeze to get into our room. Being two women staying there alone, my sister and I called the front desk to alert them about the door. The man came to our room and basically said it was "no big deal" because he was the only one with a key card that could get into our room besides us. As if that was supposed to make us feel better! He refused to fix the door or offer any kind of solution. It was late so we slept with the dirty chair pushed up under the door handle. We left as soon as we could the next morning and went to check in at another hotel so we didn't have to spend the rest of our visit sleeping in fear or tip toeing around stains, too worried for our health to even remove our shoes.

Property is old but staff trys to keep it going, it shows some age as expected. Our a/c leaked into room and carpet was wet in am, told staff and she wrote a report for immediate repairs.

The bathroom light didnt work. Room was dirty had chips and empty soda bottle in it. Smelled bad. Toilet wouldnt flush.

The rooms were clean but smelled moldy and musty. Broken stairs leading up to the rooms. Difficult to find due to construction.

This was the worst experience in any hotel that I've stayed at. I was there for three days and my room was not cleaned once. I was there on business and one day i returned to find roaches in my room. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. If the price was cheap i would of thought it would be a roach motel but at $100 a night it should of been better. Please beware before staying here and ask to see this dump before given them your money.

I liked that it was close to some food and shopping. Also the beach was only a few minutes away.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke, although was booked as a non-smoking room. Room was also not very clean. When my wife and daughter went to the front desk they were told there were no other rooms available so they left the property.

Well i will start off and say our room was upstairs and the staircase by our room were collapsing and cautioned taped off ,so we had to walk a ways to our room ,second they had no towels when we went and asked for towels we were told the only towels they had were the little pool towels just wow ,this hotel us horrible and i wish i could have got my money back and went somewhere else, first time being dissatisfied with booking threw hotels.com

Pool was full of algae, bathroom mold and mildew, carpet mildew and odorous, totally not what I expected, no continental breakfast as advertised.

The grounds were well-kept, with nice shady areas. The building itself could do with some powerwashing and new paint, but the room was in fine condition.

Ac was on lowest setting and jist did not get the job done of cooling off room. Toilet seat was to small so when u sat on seat u would be touching Toilet rim. We stayed whole weekend asked house keeping to come as we we're out of Toilet paper towels ect & to clean floors House keeping nv came was told when we got back & called them office said they left for the day. Pool was not opened something about permits and no breakfast like they advertised. Very sketchy looking place and parking lot shared with restaurant so have to be careful where park or get towed .

There was a situation where house keeping came in thinking we checked out. A few minutes later the front desk worker come to my door insisting that I had already checked out.... I hadn’t, it was 10 and checkout was a 12. She had me questioning if I did haha. Later she apologized to my fiancé but it was an uncomfortable situation.

One of rooms smelled of mold and mildew. The other smelled of smoke. Shower floor was loose and moved while showering. Beds were uncomfortable. Alarm clock in room did not work.

We arrived and checked into the lobby. The pool was closed, no breakfast options available, and our room had stains on the carpet, holes in the shower and flies in our room!! Very disappointed.

We had booked a one night stay in a non smoking room for 2 adults and 2 children. We knew it was a motel and didn’t expect anything fancy. We were originally given a smoking room which was not very clean and wreaked of smoke. The staff did provide us with a non smoking room however the vanity light did not work properly and took over 30 minutes to turn on. The TV was very difficult to use and we ended up giving up and going to bed at 8pm. Overall the stay was very disappointing and we were not able to feel comfortable in the room.

We had no hot water the first night and was not offered any solution or discount. This was a $196 stay. How do you not have hot water in a hotel??

It was pleasant... we went for spring break. Kids had a great time. Convient location to go to Kemah and Galveston. Will stay here again.

First room she set me up in, the door wouldn’t open, so she put me in another room, there room was clean and smelled good, but with it 40 degrees out side, the heat would only get up to 60 degrees in the room,

The pictures of the hotel are very deceiving. First of all it’s a motel not a hotel. Second the paint around the doors and parts of the rooms are peeling off. The pictures made it look like a nicer place than it actually was.

The pictures are alot better than actual room's. Outside needs to be remodeled and updated. My mirror by door looked foggy but when i went to wipe it ,it wouldn't come off.

Floor felt sticky, the bathroom lights did not work, and the pool was a dark green outside our window. Front desk was friendly so the service was good but condition of hotel is very poor.

The room was ok the bathroom was dirty. The arm chair in room was filthy I have pics where we cleaned that. When we pulled bed sheets back the sheets had dirt on them some kind of black flecks. The pool outside was GREEN could not even sit by. Ice maker was broke. And A/C stopped cooling during night.Pictures are after sitting in chair and arms stuck to chair.

Apart from the guests in the room next to us partying on the terrace outside our room until 2am, it was an okay stay. We’ve been staying here since i was 5 or 6 years old, and never had a problem... Seems to have gone down hill but will probably be back anyway.

Very small rooms, original room was infested with fleas and smell like a dog. Pool was open, but not clean. Water was not flowing and it was full of dead bugs. Will not return to this location. Staff is friendly, but size of rooms is not worth the price I paid for.

It was decent. It smelled like mildew and the blankets and stuff were very scratchy but it was all okay.

Really was disappointed with overall service will never book here again.. Checked in on a wednesday room was only cleaned once and that was on a sunday. Had to stay going to the office for clean towels and sheets.. Not happy at all

I asked the young man who checked me in if i could check out at 2:00 pm, like last time i stayed here. He said ok but they knew nothing about it tjis morning.

The staff was excellent and friendly Rooms were clean and bed was VERY comfy.

When we checked in to our rooms thebone had a leak under the sink and the other one the tv didnt work. They fixed the tv the next day and we had to move to a different room because they were unable to fix the leak. The staff was very helpful during all of it.

Literally two kinds of cereal. Coffee was terrible. The only hot item was waffles. Only other item was small muffins. No fruit. No eggs. Very minimal.

I will never stay at this location again

The knobs on the shower were broken off just screw to turn on and off. The deadbolt was broken. In 3 days, no cleaning service showed up. No beds made, no clean towels, no removal of trash.

No bathroom vents so any restroom visits would not air out and stayed stagnant. Tv was broken.

Parking is too close. People had to move their truck so I could back out. Then my car was only inches from the next truck while backing out.

The customer service was great, the rooms are were really clean, the only thing I can complain about is the ice machines...they would take a long time to “load” for more ice, but overall a great experience.

The people were very kind. The room was roomy, clean & nice to relax in. The continental breakfast was good, missed the waffle machine (it was broken.) The bed, as expected, was AMAZING! Our puppies stayed with us FOR FREE! The room was quiet. We live in Houston. This was a very pleasant get away with a GREAT little "hole in the wall" looking restaurant just next door.

It was a quick trip to check out the area along the bay area. It is pretty far from Galveston to my liking. Location is convenient. The appearance of the place is not so great. Breakfast was slim pickings for more than on overnight stay. It was clean, but definitely not new. Great comfort was we were 5 people in the family and we brought a blow up bed. Did not need a kitchen. We stayed in an accessible room with a slightly larger bathroom for my grandmother, but I would choose to stay in hotel closer to the tourist area.

I loved everything except the ice machines didn't work. I come every year and i never been there and the ice machines was working. It also had only one waffle machine working so we had to stand in a long line just to get a waffle.

Very old hotel. They were unorganized as far as the continental breakfast. All 3 mornings that we stayed they were out of certain things. Out of eggs out of bread out of bagels. Rooms were very outdated. Overall I would rate it 2 of of 5 stars.

The original room we booked the key lock did not work. The second room, only the beds were made. The bathroom was used, towels on the floor, hair and makeup all over the shower and the toilet was about to break when you sat on it.

Ac in room was not cooling very well...sounded like the ac was frozen from the time we checked in.. we even left it off all day amd and night it was still not cool enough
