Food was cold at dinner

Beautiful setting, beautiful room, and extremely friendly staff. Pool water was a little chilly for us, but we understand it is early in the season.

Room was fine as well as beach. Facilities were incredibly dirty. It appeared as though the salt pools weren’t cleaned for weeks. Pool staff (pool boys and servers) were not friendly and not attentive. They made it seem like a burden when you ordered or did anything. People had left old towels on chairs by the infinity pool for the whole day and the staff stated they couldn’t remove them because it was against the rules (even though many didn’t show back up for the whole day). The pictures on the website are very deceiving, do not trust them. If you are questioning to stay here, do not.

We paid additional EUR 35 for dinner for two days and we were amazed about the quality of food, both for breakfast and dinner. Some of their staff prepares domestic potato pie and domestic cookies. Selection of food is extraordinary, not even seen in much more luxurious hotels. Although this hotel is renewed old socialist hotel, it is very well rebuilt, so the comfort is not compromised. The terraces are very specious as well as bathroom. There are plenty of parking lots, lot of greenery and it is very quiet. Spa needs some upgrade and there is no kettles in the room to prepare coffee and tea. Bathroom ventilation switches off after 10-15 minutes and that might be annoying.

Dinner selection could be a bit better in terms of food, not the service. You could tell its off-season. Also the kids playroom could be bigger or at least work longer hours, not like 2hr a day.

The location was good with a ferry ride into the main town. Ferries travel every hour and cost 3Euros. The service within the hotels restaurant was very poor - particularly from the head waiter. We booked half board and wish we hadn't as it was like entering into a school canteen with very basic food. There is a quieter area to eat, but we were refused by the head waiter each time when we asked to seat ourselves there - even when it was empty or when there were seats available, the head waiter had some random excuse and was quite rude to us. The food was not a good standard and we ended up eating in town.

Manuela small room too small

The breakfast and dinner were great, a lot of options and delicious. The staff were friendly and willing to help.

It was close enough to walk to town. If the weather was nicer we could have take advantage of the pools. The breakfast was very good! Lots of selection. The staff was very attentive. The air conditioning was over-active and was hard to turn down. They didn’t have extra blankets in the room.
-
Great location. The beach was wonderful for swimming. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was dark with no Sun. While it was clean it seemed a bit tired and run down.
-
The eating area is reminiscent of a corporate canteen... not a restaurant. Attention to the basics needs improving. Basic facilities not attended to... various items allowed to run down or run out & not replaced unless asked. Could be difficult to attract staff attention for drinks in the evening.

It is just a p minutes away from old town, you can take a water taxi for 3€ and have a relaxing moment in a beautiful bay The food is not bad but it could be better, specially in the pool area

Nice hotel, good location and very comfortable rooms. We were giving a room upgrade from the original room, which was a good surprise. We were not informed about the times the bar and the pool were staying open. We checked later afternoon and when we were at the pool, close to 6pm we were denied a towel, being asked to come only the morning. The barman served us but asked us not to come after 17:50 anymore.

The beach is pretty, it's a short 20ish minute walk from the old town, and I felt like it was worth the money.

The location is beautiful and spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone, especially in September. The staff in the buffet restaurant and at the pools are not always welcoming, and at times can be quite rude. Even when wearing your bracelet and providing your room number and last name, some staff members act as if they doubt you, which doesn’t feel pleasant when you’re trying to enjoy your holiday. Of course, not all the staff behave this way, but it did happen more than once

The location was stunning and we were easily able to commute into the old town. Our room was made really special for our honeymoon, we loved it! The only thing we didn't like was the food. We also felt that the staff might be undervalued as they didn't seem very happy and there were complaints that they were understaffed.

I liked that the resort offers a lot of facilities within the complex. The food at breakfast and dinner was varied and delicious. Most importantly for families, the activities for children in the morning and in the evening were excellent, and the kids were very happy with the animation team. There was a lack of proper lunch options within the complex. It is possible to grab a snack at Punto Mare bar, but it would be great if Il Cantuccio was also open during the day.

Extremely clean, beautifully laid out, all the staff were incredible, the room and furnishings were top-notch. And what can you say about the location and its surroundings?! I would come back in a heartbeat. It was also nice to have the tennis court to play on. Nothing!

Beach is not so nice in front of hotel, long check in procedure

The property was right next to the beach. It had lots of facilities for kids and to be entertained. The breakfast was very large and we definitely enjoyed it and the service was wonderful. We also really liked the wristband room key. We didn’t think it was going to be that crowded. We didn’t know that there was a campsite next-door. It brought a lot of people, especially to the beaches. We thought the beaches were quite small and a lot of incoming traffic from boats that made people people in a dangerous position. We did like the service that the beach offered tho. Another thing is the pictures that were online really didn’t compare to the hotel at all. The pictures showed a more luxurious hotel and the impression that everything was more closer together. I know you can’t fix the problem of too many people, but it almost bugged our stay.
