Only other negative people next to us were noisy

Glows: Clean sheets and towels. Grows: No pool, no drawers, no closet, no exhaust vent in bathroom, nasty hallway carpet. Overall, it has good potential but a lot needs to be done.

Everything was great. Nice makeover with Hilton taking the property over.

Dirty wash rag from previous guest stuffed on top of shower door. Visible stains and wear throughout the room and property. Unable to sleep well last two nights of my stay due to loud noises in hallways and rooms above. Tried calling front desk both nights regarding noise. No answer both instances.

No microwave inside the room. Not going back. Even my friend agreed.

There was NO hot water. I read the other reviews that said that, and I did not believe it. But.... believe it - it is TRUE!!! NO HOT WATER!!!! I also read the reviews about the poor breakfast, and I did not believe those. However.... believe it - it is true!!!! We will never stay at a Spark again!! Way overpriced for cold water, hard beds, and cold cereal.

While the room was adequate, our floor needed to be vacuumed better. Beds were comfortable. Shower was fine, but lighting could have been better. Towels were very soft. Breakfast was very limited. We saw bagels and cereal and two juices. Recommend bringing your own food. No microwave in room, though. Best part of the stay was the front desk staff. Very helpful and polite.

Very clean room and great staff!

The staff was superb. The only problem with this property is the breakfast (needs major improvement). The rooms are very spacious and clean. Overall I would stay here again. I would just make sure to go the Waffle House or the local fast food restaurants in the area for breakfast.☺️😉

Woke up to bed soaked from leaking ceiling

We were given the far corner room which was relatively quiet. That was essential. Wall mount a/c is too noisy, yet without it it's too hot in the room all the night. No microwave, the only one is in the lobby. Only warm water instead of hot = no shower. Squeaky bathroom door. Breakfast is pretty poor.

The room was clean. The water pressure of the shower was not so great and the water temperature did not go higher than lukewarm.

Because it was graduation weekend at the University of Knoxville, the room rate was almost double. For that double rate we had a room with no hot water the whole weekend.

Breakfast was just ok. The staff was not overly friendly. Our room was not cleaned. Parking was good.

Comfy sleep

We loved how clean & quiet it was. Will definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was pretty lacking - cereal, yogurt, bread and bagels. I would have hoped for at least a waffle machine.

Good location, central to everything we did in town. Room was reasonably clean and the sheets were comfortable. The hot water supply was wholly inadequate. We had to shower and shave before 6am or after midnight if we wanted hot water. The TV did not work. It would let us choose a channel but would not show the channel, just a black screen. Breakfast was wholly disappointing with a complete lack of hot food, and the bagels and muffins were stale.

Ice machine on floor rather than entry

The room was comfortable, a little dated but not a big deal. The building overall was in poor condition. Hallway floors were filthy, laundry room on 4th floor was trashed. Empty detergent jugs everywhere, empty pizza box on folding table, floor covered in trash. Lots of damage has been covered with paint and it’s noticeable. Breakfast was lacking.

1 chair for 2 people, no coffee in room, no bar in shower that was usable for balance, bathroom door squeaked loudly, no night light, no soap at sink.

Hotel is clean, staff is very helpful, location is close to interstate 75. A hot breakfast would be great.

While the room was clean, there is no coffeee maker in the room, the shower had zero water pressure and was barely warm.

The hotel and room were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was unimpressive. I didn't like the limited choices for breakfast.

Great customer service. The room itself was nice, except it appeared that my shower could have use a little attention around the edges and where the soap goes. Other than that the room was well kept. The only other issue I had was with the hall floor on the 4th floor needs to be cleaned as it was stained throughout. Everything else was fine as microwaves for each room should come soon.

The staff were awesome. Had an issue with a glitch in my reservation date and they fixed it for me with no hassle and were kind while doing so. Room was nice and clean and very comfortable.

Clean room, easy check in, friendly staff. I was I little worried because a school team was checking in and given rooms right next to mine. Either they were exceptionally quiet or the rooms are well insulated. Simple breakfast but they have a yogurt machine that was the best! I'd stay again.

The breakfast was different.... no hot stuff, just hardboiled eggs, bagels muffins cereal oatmeal, a yogurt machine that didnt work, fruit, juices, milk. Eh. Ac was AMAZING....IMPORTANT to me bc i Am ALWAYS hot. It was an older property, and i would not call it luxurious by any stretch but it was clean, friendly, decent area, and the price was right. We tried it bc wd have not stayed there before, but i eould probably pick somewhere else to try before going there again.

Parking lot was clean and secure, property was also very clean and secure for the location. Property staff was more than accommodating. My family & I really enjoyed our stay at this property.

The entire 2nd floor was filled with cigarette smoke. It was like being in a bar! I went to the front desk several times to ask if they could stop it but I was told that they “couldn’t knock on every single door”. I asked to be moved to another floor but was denied. The only solution they offered me was some air freshener? This is supposed to be a 100% smoke free hotel, yet I had to spend the weekend breathing heavy second hand smoke because the hotel management refused to enforce the rules.

Breakfast is basic bagels and cereal. We arrived late so we used the app and a digital key and did not interact with staff except through the app. They were very pleasant and our digital check in was smooth.

Lots of parking. Easy on/off from I-75. No microwave in the room but there is one to use in lobby. Very nice staff. Noisy at night due to proximity to highway. Water pressure in shower good but water did not really get hot. Breakfast adequate - cereal, toast, bagels, fruit, muffins, regular milk and oat milk (for those with dairy allergies - nice !), orange and apple juice. No hot food like waffles or anything. Enough to get you on the road though. Easy check in/out. Felt safe. Good for an overnight stop on vacation. Stayed here early March

The hotel was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. Our room faced the interstate highway. It was quite loud when we went to bed. That was our only complaint.

The elevator was down which expedia didn't make us aware of so we had to carry out luggage up the stairs. Breakfast could be improved by adding a few hot elements. Everything was a cold continental. The room was clean. Overall, not bad for the price but definitely wouldn't have chosen anywhere that didn't have an elevator.

I always look at the rating for a hotel and read the comments of other travelers and always look for a 9 or better. This place did not live up to the rating it was given, especially the breakfast, which many of the reviews claimed was fantastic. We left hungry and looking for a place to get a decent breakfast. As far as our room, it was ok.

When I see a continental breakfast, I am at least hoping for waffles along with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, and gravy… That’s what most of the breakfasts have been at the hotels we’ve stayed at. I ended up having fruit loops for breakfast…. Sad

This is my second stay at Spark by Hilton, and once again it did not disappoint. The hotel is very clean, the staff is wonderful, and the beds are extremely comfortable. A great and comfortable stay.

The breakfast was not extravagant, but you could get a bagel or muffin, fruit, and coffee. The toaster was slow so that was a bit of a log jam. Good water pressure in the shower, bed was comfortable.

The tv would not work properly and not many channels when it did and the heater ran all night making it exceptionally warm though the night. phone wouldn't call the front desk had to go back to get help with the tv.

The rooms are not enough silent to sleep. The noise of vehicles running on I-75 is so loud and it does not allow to have a quiet and silent place to sleep. The breakfast is terrible. There is nothing healthy to eat there. Few items and they are just junk food.

It’s an older hotel that has been refreshed very well. Clean and comfortable beds. We were very happy with it.

we did not stay there because our daughter is in a wheelchair and they did not have the room that we booked online to meet our needs, but they were very nice. They found us another hotel that did and the hotel looked very new and friendly.

Hotel is very clean. NO BUGS OF ANY KIND SPOTTED DURING A WEEK STAY. A/c works well. The hallways still smell of old hotel, but its not a bad smell. Room and bathroom was very clean. Great room and clean!! Check in was just okay. The person checking us in started the process and took our cards and information to then have us stand there and wait while she took multiple phones calls and booked rooms via the phone.

The room itself was comfortable and clean, with cozy beds. My bathroom door wouldn’t fully shut, but since I was traveling alone, it wasn’t an issue. It was clear that the hotel is older, as evidenced by the worn doors and the blue paint that didn’t fully mask its age. The hallway carpets appeared fairly new but seemed poorly cleaned. I didn’t notice that pets were allowed prior to booking; had I seen that, I likely would have chosen a different hotel. That said, for the price, it was acceptable for a one-night stay while passing through. For a longer visit, I would have likely requested a refund. Overall, I would give this hotel 3.5 stars.

The breakfast buffet was very meager, no eggs,no waffles, a big pot of gravy and dry biscuits, and the coffee was watery and terrible. If they cannot afford to give breakfast just dont't provide it at all than a stingly meager one. We had to go get real breakfast at a resturant.

Arrived past midnight, but David at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Give him a raise! The room was clean and comfortable. Give the room attendant a raise! The breakfast area was well attended to, and the staff were very gracious. Give them all a raise!

The man at the front desk was charming and accommodating. He asked what floor I preferred and what room would be best. He always greeted us and gave me all the info I needed for my stay. The building is older, which I knew. The inside has been remodeled, and it’s very noticeable. The mini fridge is small, and there’s no microwave in the room, but there’s plenty of natural and artificial lighting. There’s a washer/dryer on each floor if you need it. TV channels are limited, and Netflix and Apple TV are the only options for streaming services. It would’ve been nice to be able to use Prime or Hulu. Beds were big and mattresses were firm. I don’t care for firm mattresses, but it wasn’t too bad. The room was clean with no bugs. Plenty of places to plug in devices with USB and USB-C ports. Thewas a great-size full-size mirror. There were p of towels. The shower took a while to get hot, but the pressure was great. Breakfast was 6-10AM. There was coffee available at all times. Breakfast has 4 cereal options, bagels, muffins, boiled eggs, yogurt, apple juice, regular and oat, milk, orange juice, gravy & music it’s, oatmeal w/ toppings, and some fruit.

The only suggestion to make it better is to get the grass out back mowed. The grass was very long & i was wearing sandals when i walked my dog there.

Easy access from interstate. Very clean. Only recommendations would be to add bottles of conditioner to bathrooms/ travel size ones. Have elevators evaluated. There weren’t posted service certificates and it screeched like it was out-of-alignment. Also didn’t change numbers as it changed floors. Need trash cans in breakfast area that people don’t have to touch. Had an otherwise great stay and would definitely recommend to anyone.

The staff was more than friendly and helpful. The facility was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The only drawback was the musty smell. But then, we were in Tennessee during storms so everything was a little musty.
