The hallways looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. Got to our room and the bed was a fullsized rather than a king like posted on expedia. Called down to front office and they said they dont have any rooms with big sized beds. (This might be more on expedia than the hotel itself) When we got to our room the toilet didn't work, and had to call maintenance within first 5min of getting there. The next morning on our way out the trash by elevator smelled like it had old diapers in it, came back later in the evening and the trash still smelled the same and hadn't been touched even though cleaning people were out that morning. The shower also had no body wash. Our room key didn't work the 2nd, and had to get the front desk to get us a new one. About 30min laters went outside and when we came back in the new room key didnt work again so they finally switched us rooms. The new room they moved us into looked like it had mold on the walls and smelled musty and damp. But hey at least the toilet worked.

The hotel had an unpleasant stench which the hotel attempted to mask with large fragrant dispensers in the rooms. The bathroom door had a poorly masked hole, the bathtub was stained, and I waited at the front desk for someone to appear for approximately 10-15 minutes before I could begin checking in.

Was not very clean. Toilet clogged after using it. Was supposed to be a suite and it wasn’t.
- 3/5
Spacious rooms, easy location off of highway. The air conditioner clearly had mold on it, worried to use A/C so room was warm. Dated hotel.

Roach in microwave, hair and dirt in the tub, toliet running water
- 2/5
Dirty marks on walls, doors and towels. Staff wasn’t over friendly, and wasn’t expecting a $100 added on hold only card. Air conditioning wasn’t very cool as well.
- 1/5
The landscaping is a mess The room was not cleaned to a reasonable standard The ceiling in the shower drops plaster when you’re showering The recliner wouldn’t close The heating vent in the bedroom was rusted and falling apart The bath towels a barely a step above paper towels The electric receptacles are so worn, plugs wouldn’t stay in We’ll have to take Sonesta off our list
- 3/5
Room was in rough shape. Smudges on surfaces.
- 1/5
Stayed in room one night. Tried to check out with 3 days left on reservation. Can’t do it they said bc booked thru Hotels.com.
- 4/5
No breakfast, not enough coffee
- 2/5
The hotel needs to be updated badly. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling, crappy furnished shampoo and conditioner. There was no breakfast, whereas at the Sonesta in Nashville had breakfast and was beautiful! Another guest went and bought bed linens because hers were so bad. This was the class and cleanliness that I expect for a $70 room, not almost $200!!! We won't be staying there again.

It’s relatively inexpensive, and you get what you pay for. It’s a bit dated and the was a musty smell whenever i entered my room. Having a kitchenette was useful. Laundry was paid via credit card so no need to bring fists full of quarters. I was traveling alone so it was adequate for my needs. If the little lady was with me, i guarantee we would have been looking for another place to stay.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
Clean. Affordable. Quick check in. Friendly staff.
- 1/5
Very NASTYYY OLD DIRTY
- 2/5
The property is extremely out dated. There were holes in walls, mold around the tub and fridge. and the carpet is in need of a very deep steam or needs to be completely ripped out and replaced.
- 3/5
No breakfast Nothing within walking distance No pool Room was comfortable Shower was great
- 4/5
The building is older but in reasonably good repair. It very good for short stays considering the price. No prepared food but a kitchenette is available for meal preparation.
- 4/5
Cockroach in bathroom at night, mismatched furniture and lamps, TV remote was hard to use, shower was hard to turn on and the water was not as hot as I would have liked.
- 5/5
Nice stay cleaning room very nice
- 3/5
I think they would have let us switch rooms, but at 3:30a, it seemed like more work and a fan did the trick. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Room was clean. Breakfast was good. No shower curtain in tub.
- 5/5
Great room, nice staff, great property.
- 1/5
This marketing photo is obviously old. The furnishings were in disrepair and extremely worn. The room smelled of smoke, mildew, etc. and was in need of a deep cleaning. Dust was readily visible throughout. When I brought these items to the front desk/staff's attention, he responded by saying that it was only a "2 star hotel" and that the room was a good value for the price. The staff also said that the hotel was rebranded "Sonesta" because they no longer met the standard for the old Candlewood Suites brand. I only stayed because they had me sign a no-refund policy BEFORE I went to my room. Because I booked from a third party, they also said a refund wasn't possible. Interestingly, they actually had me also pay a $100 security deposit when checking in.
- 5/5
The area A few things were broken and a little old looking

Did not stay here. Had to drive all the way back home because whoever was at desk was attempting to charge me another $200 for the room, even as a security deposit, that is ridiculous as the room is not that much. Then good luck getting your deposit back, They said you get it back in 30 days. Extremely bad business practices.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice but had a few issues. Prices about right for the quality.
- 2/5
Dishes. Cups , glasses
- 1/5
Roaches in my room. Trash located constantly by elevators. Mold definitely present.
- 5/5
Great clean rooms
- 5/5
Great hotel for your money's worth!
- 1/5
Everything looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The microwave was grimy, the shelves were dusty, and the fridge was covered in grime. The sheets even had holes from cigarette use. The hallways and elevator reeked of cigarettes and weed. The description of this place does not match what you actually get.

Horrible bed no amenities needs total renovation

large working desk area, great for traveling office. Hot shower which is rare for hotels nowadays. comfy bed adequate bedding. very quite. cold large refrigerator with high volume ice maker.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly. After a 10 hour drive from New Jersey, we arrived pretty early than intended, but they let us check in early with no issues. The room was nice and spacious. They even had a little gym, which was a nice amenity. Overall a good experience
- 5/5
Clean quite safe neighborhood five minutes from anything you could want to eat.
- 5/5
Clean quality and quiet
- 3/5
It was just ok. Served its purpose
- 2/5
Vending machines were not stocked. The building itself just felt old and humid. My room had a broken recliner and microwave. The chair would not close. I walked in with the chair stuck in recliner. The microwave door had to remain open or the microwave would run. The door remained opened with the light on the entire night to avoid the microwave from running the whole night. It just felt gross.
- 3/5
Perfect location, we have a well-equipped room with kitchenette. Comfy bed, clean bedsheets and towels. There was black mold stain on bathroom wall thus the entire room smelled of mold. Bathtub looked never being scrubbed. Hallway carpet was dirty and in desperate need of vacuuming.
- 5/5
Accommodating staff. Clean room, good bed! Safe, quiet location. Good amenities. Great value.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 4/5
room was good but it took some effort to get an access key to work. manager after shift change put me into another room after a couple of tries which meant going up and down the second floor three times that sucked
- 4/5
The service was great. The room looked very clean , but there was a musty smell in the bathroom. LOVED how close the handicapped room was from the front door.
- 3/5
room good condition, this was more of a weekly or monthly stay hotel. but rooms were clean. had a full oven and fridge so u could smell food cooking all the time.
- 5/5
Comfortable spacious room in a great location!
- 4/5
Traveling electrician. Was decent stay
- 4/5
It was what we needed for what we were doing. Nothing fancy but there was no bugs, it was clean enough and staff was nice enough.
- 5/5

The Room was an outdated Candlewood Suite. When we arrived it took forever to get checked in. I do not know just why but there was a great deal of confusion about the accomadations. The elevator requested only 3 people at a time get on it, is that safe at all then? Upon check out I requested a receipt and was told they would have to inspect the room before a receipt could be issued and it would be emailed to me. Today I checked my Credit Card Statement and found that they charged my card $260.82 on Nov 10 and another $100 on Nov 12. That is at the VERY best a $80 per night room. And I was charged a total of $360.82 for two nights. RIP OFF! I am one unhappy customr of Expdia and Sonesta Simply Suites in Knoxville, TN
- 4/5
Comfortable bed. Slept well. No ice available
- 3/5
The coffee pot didn't work. It's okay for an economical overnight stay for travelers.
- 3/5
Room was cleaner than I expected after walking in. I booked a queen bed to share with my spouse and my child who at times sleeps with me but ended up with barely a double. Elevator was a little iffy but got me up and down. Staff wasn’t bad but wasn’t super happy or even helpful. It wasn’t the worst but wasn’t the best.
- 5/5
everything was perfect
- 1/5
The building is very old, the picture on the website is no true how this look
- 0.5/5
It was FILTHY. I have pictures to prove it! My husband and I were sitting watching tv and a light bulb from my side of the bed hit the floor. The entire place stunk. There was a hole in our ceiling were sprinklers should have been and a water leak stain
- 5/5
Staff were friendly and professional, the place was clean and comfortable
- 1/5
The room had small cockroaches running around, which means there is an infestation. The place was not well represented in their pictures, and the smell of everyone’s cooking took over the room, which I don’t mind people cooking their food, but there was nothing to vent the smell
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Good stay
- 1/5
Don’t risk it , not worth - it’s gross
- 1/5
We have stayed many times in Sonesta Hotel & was very disappointed with this one. The room smelled like pets. The tub was dirty. And to top things off, I saw a roach crawling up the wall the morning we were to check out. Basically, the only thing it had going for it was location.
- 5/5
Only thing I have to warn everyone about is the $100 security deposit. Other than that it’s a safe property and the cleanliness was a 10/10. I will definitely be back.
- 3/5
It had an old style lobby and if no one was at the desk, they wanted you to go out to the entry area and use the phone there. Large amounts of paint was missing in the hallways where their laundry carts had scraped the walls.
- 1/5
Serious updates to the property and policies are needed.
- 5/5
Rhe front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly
- 5/5
The rooms are spacious and very clean
- 2/5
Doesn’t meet expectations with the “sonesta” brand. Kitchen only had one glass nothing else. First room I checked into reeked of cigarette smoke. Asked for another room and was told the first room wasn’t smokey but rather someone had just cooked a meal in there (but without pots or dishes??). Clearly wasn’t the case, and was finally given a different room. Hotel felt nasty, wore my shoes between bed and bathroom bc carpet felt grimy. Never again.
- 3/5
Room was in somewhat poor condition and very humid. Check-in was very slow. The stay was thankfully quiet, but definitely not the best hotel experience I've had.
- 1/5
I have been waiting an hour to be checked in. No one has ever came to the front desk.
- 1/5
Rooms were very low quality, very run down. Killed 3 cockroaches the first night, didn’t stay the second night. Everything felt gross. Wouldn’t ever stay there again. After a little fight they returned my second nights charge. They didn’t seem to think cockroaches were that big of an issue. And this was for $200 a night.
- 5/5
Very clean room. Poor gym. Safe neighborhood. Would stay again.
- 3/5
In the 5 hours I was there I saw the rooms were outdated and spider webs were in corners and window.
- 1/5
Rooms had windows open and people were smoking pot. Also we saw bugs crawling up the walls. We left after seeing the bugs.
- 2/5
This is an older property, but it definitely felt dirty and smelled. Holes all in my curtain, no hand soap in bathroom or trashcan, no hair dryer. Walked around without shoes in room & bottom of my feet were dirty. Bed slept fine & A/C kept room cooled.
- 3/5
We had to swap rooms because of a noising ac unit, toilet did not flush well, elevator was out of service part of the time and towel rack fell off the wall.
- 1/5
The room was deplorable. Toilet leaked sewage when flushing, could be Wax O-ring was placed in the 70's and just worn out. Dirty, Filthy walls, Black, Yellow and Brown Mold. Refrigerator was rusting. A/C control from 1950 bypassed so I had to look at the metal rigging that was connected....bad move - the black mammal hair that clogged the air filter was everywhere. Took the staff twenty five minutes to get us signed in, I guess that what it takes when you only use one finger and a 1970 computer program. We checked in and out so fast, the luggage jumped into my car. I ask for a full refund or at least partial. They charge me almost 100.00 more that the quote, I did not sign the bill and refuted the bill with AMX. I also wrote Sonesta the letter Attached and sent it also to Hotels.com and AMX. Run Forest Run - this one needs to be imploaded.
- 2/5
I am entitled to a refund for this night’s stay.
- 1/5
This hotel is subpar…there was roaches, furniture, broken, including drawers. The hotel stunk and very dirty. They took our hundred dollar deposit because my husband got a bite from there and bled on the sheet saying that they could not reuse the sheets, which is crap because there was already stains on the sheets that they were used. Do not stay here!! The pictures are very deceiving.
- 1/5
Walked in and the room smelled like mold, on top of that the ceiling clearly had bad repairs done to it and all the cut outs showed. The shower handle didn’t work properly either which made for a not pleasant stay.
- 3/5
It was definitely mid. This is a contractors hotel through and through. But I don’t think that should discourage the staff from taking pride in cleaning it. I definitely did not want to touch anything, and I’m the kind of girl who grew up playing in mud and not shying away from hard work or grit. But this place was pretty gross. When something is sticky, I’m out lol
- 2/5
No breakfast, room has to have been the worst I have ever been in, mold in bathroom, when toilet was flushed water came out from under it, plaster falling off cieling in many places. If I could have gotten my money back I would have rather yleptbin the gutter, would have been better conditions. Do not use this motel.
- 4/5
Decent place with nice enough staff, fairly clean and very reasonably priced.
- 2/5
This facility is completely worn out! The walls were beat up, the AC unit was moldy smelling, light fixtures and furniture had rust deposits on them and were dingy. The place, while generally clean, had a funky smell. The worst part though was the roach infestation problem. Great laundry facility. Sonesta has pretty much squeezed all they can out of that place. There are much better options available in the area for the price.
- 2/5
Floors and halls dirty with trash. Not even vacuumed. Bathroom dirty with towel racks broken and toilet leaking. HORRIBLE SMELL
- 2/5
Stayed there for a week, only do room cleaning every two weeks. Clean but dated. Musty and humid when we arrived. They came and sprayed some air freshener and gave us a dehumidifier. We emptied 16 pints from it twice a day. Staff was very nice but everything was self service. You had to get your own towels and empty your own trash. Price was very reasonable.
- 1/5
Needs a good cleaning room smelled of smoke
- 2/5
Traveled with pet. Assigned a "dog" room. And had to pay extra for that "privilege". Room was dated, needed paint. Refrigerator was rusty on the exterior. Floor felt dirty and gritty. AC unit was very noisy and cycled every few minutes making it difficult to sleep. on the last day of my stay, I noticed that the toilet leaked at the base when flushing. Every time i went to front desk, no one was there. I do not recommend and would not stay there again.
- 1/5
Roaches
- 5/5
People were friendly. A lot of food and shopping otions nearby.
- 3/5
Room had a bad smell and was noisey thru the night.
- 3/5
Amazing staff in every way. Just very in need of touch up’s and cleaning. Our room was a pet friendly room and smelled so bad we almost couldn’t handle it. We roughed it out for the price, but that with the full timers living there was enough where we wouldn’t recommend unless a quick pass through.
- 3/5
I seem.to.constantly.have issues with my key card, it has to be reset everyday, had a medical issue and the phone didn't work
- 1/5
Big bug running around on the ground. Got up to the room and it smelled like a repossessed home with mold and water damage.
- 4/5
The place was nice. Has a laundry room if needed. Room had a fridge.
- 2/5
Just okay.
- 5/5
Very clean and very good prices plus the laundry and gym rooms were well kept. Made visiting TN very enjoyable
- 4/5
Area had nice food options
- 2/5
Dirty towels and rags and a stenches smell
- 1/5
It was trash! Smell like mildew. Old and outdated. Get what you pay for
- 3/5
Kitchennette appliances and HVAC ran all night making sleep difficult
- 4/5
Check-in was easy and quick. The hotel has been refurbished. Unfortunately, a fire broke out in the laundry area, so those needing to wash clothes were unable to do so during my weekend stay. The elevator kept us inside for a bit longer than I expected. Thankfully, it opened about 45 seconds later than it should have. The hotel was clean and had a wide selection of television stations (both local and premium) to watch. The hotel is also conveniently located near the interstate and numerous restaurants, gas stations, and eateries. Excellent location!
- 4/5
The room was clean. The staff was very nice. The room had some issues that needed to be fixed but over all, it was a very nice and peaceful stay.
- 4/5
Great for the price paid
- 4/5
A really good, quiet location in a car dealership/office building area. The room was clean, but needs a little attention - sporadic dishes in the cabinets, missing towel rails, flaky textured ceiling. Overall, really good hotel.
- 4/5
Desk staff were great!!
- 5/5
Review will be edited depending on whether my deposit is returned or not.
- 4/5
I liked the guy that was working the desk, nice room, affordable.
- 2/5
Ac unit was rigged up with an AC on top of AC; bathroom towel holder was broken, it was rough and way over priced for what it was.
- 5/5
Good place
- 5/5
Perfect option for 1 night stay with family.
- 3/5
Rooms all seemed very noisy- when I came in to lobby there was no one.
- 2/5
Although this is a pet-friendly hotel, the condition and the cleanliness of this place was not good. Particularly, the carpeting throughout the hallway floors and room look dated and retained an odor, especially on the first floor near the elevator. The tub in the did not look very clean either. Also, the air conditioning unit look dated and there was a mildew smell near the unit. The only positive was the convenience of the location. Otherwise, the entire building needs to be renovated
- 3/5
Place seemed dated and not real clean, chair was completely broken and wouldn’t even work to use, should’ve been in trash.
- 2/5
Rooms smelled. Shower was awful. A/C was very noisy. Rooms VERY old and falling apart in areas.
- 5/5
A very affordable and clean hotel in West Knoxville. My go-to-place when in the area.
- 1/5
The property itself seemed adequate, but after having paid in advance I was NOT ALLOWED to check into the room Id paid for. I had my credit card with me, a valid TaN license, and even a passport, as well as my confirmation info. But I was denied my room and out my money because the credit card (that I had already used to pay) had a relative's name on it.
- 3/5
This was the shabbiest Sonesta Suites we’ve stayed in and has made me reconsider booking at the chain again. The front desk clerk was kind and professional and the bed was comfortable. Other than that, our stay was disappointing. The hallways were dingy and hadn’t been vacuumed recently. Carpets are stained. The elevator had a terrible odor and the floor was dirty. Our room was shabby, in need of plastering and painting, and poorly lit. We checked out a day early.
- 2/5
I called to confirm my appointment, since I was driving in from Memphis, which is almost 6 hours away. I got the run around and hung up on about 4 times. Finally, I called Hotels.com and a young lady helped me out and got it sorted out in short order. The hotel was not great. There were probably 15 commercial fans on the ground floor drying something...
- 3/5
Overall, my stay was fine. I really enjoyed the rooms having a full-size refrigerator a cooktop, a microwave and a dishwasher as well as plates, utensils, and cookware so if I had chosen, I could have cooked in the room though I only use the microwave and refrigerator. The refrigerator did have an icemaker which I was very pleased with. But the room had previously been smoked in even though there were signs up everywhere saying smoking was not allowed, and there would be monetary charges or some sort of consequence for smoking I can’t recall exactly. As a non-smoker and someone who does not care in the slightest for the smell of cigarette smoke, I did not enjoy that aspect of my room. The room was not the cleanest I had ever stayed in, but it did seem to be clean in the important parts, the bathroom, the bed, and the kitchen area. It was just some of the Door jams and such had a lot of built up dust. I also think the carpet could’ve been cleaner. The staff were very polite. It was well located for my needs. The convenience of the kitchen would be good for many people. I only stayed two nights and overall it was perfectly average. It was a good price and fit my needs the smoke smell was the thing I was at least happy about. Another thing I didn’t know about before going there was they charge a $100 deposit for anyone further away from the hotel than 50 miles. Anyone closer than 50 miles has to pay $200 for a deposit fee. You should get it back so long as the room is clean.
- 2/5
Property was old, having the kitchen was a benefit but the fridge was very loud. Overall the cleanliness was poor, the dishes were dirty, non-carpetted floors were sticky. Difficult to sleep with noise from fridge and air conditioner. Definitely not a 2.5 star.
- 3/5
thermostat didn't work; a/c or heat on all the time and very noisy. Front office staff not attentive and very slow.
- 3/5
It was fine until the laundry room caught on fire in the middle of the night. After waiting outside for the fire dept to put it out, the alarm woke us up again around 5am.
- 1/5
No one at the front desk. Then a man came to help with cleaning gloves on. The lobby reeked of overbearing floral spray, and we didn't even step into the room due to the urine smell. We left and found another hotel down the road.
- 4/5
Good Value for price
- 1/5
When we arrived the key wouldn’t work waited 1hr to get in room batteries on door had to be changed once in filters were hanging from the air conditioner electrical plugs had no cover, microwave no handle to open, multiple cabinets missing handles, tv in living room did tv not work,
- 1/5
No one was at check-in. We’d called ahead to make sure we could get in our room because we had a wedding. She ended up allowing us to but copied my and my husband’s drivers license before allowing us to stay in the room. Then she wouldn’t give it to us the next morning. In today’s world of fraud this is very troubling. The room had cracks and the walls, mold in the bathroom and was not very clean. We had no choice because we had to get to the wedding. When I called bookings.com the next day for help with my $450 Gaylord reservation the next night, I was hung up on, called back and never got a person, and no messages were returned that I submitted online. I am not getting the emails with the pins, so I cannot access anything. This hotel service is horrible- the only reason that we use it is because it gives us Sounthwest points but we are looking for another card and airlines just because this hotel partner is HORRIBLE!
- 5/5
I had a great stay
- 1/5
The room had mold smelt very musty. They have moisture issues.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Convenient out of the way place to stay in West Knoxville.
- 1/5
When we finally got into our rooms they were dirty. The shower and bathrooms were covered in hair, the water was cold, and the room was smelly. Additionally, there were many mosquitoes and bugs in the hallway. We could not wait to get out of there the next morning. We will not be staying here ever again.
- 5/5
check in was super easy and quick hotel was quiet and the room had a full size fridge and little kitchenette which i didn’t realize upon booking which was super cool. it was a great value and a comfortable stay.
- 2/5
The supposed queen bed was a full size bed which my feet hung off of. Also they charge a deposit and charged my card and extra 150 for makeup on two towels! I stayed 2 nights. Plus they already have my 100 deposit.
- 3/5
A little dated and run down for the area very clean though
- 4/5
Bathroom door not only did not close…it wasn’t even close to closing! A solid one inch gap between the wall and the door. You could see straight through and hear everything going on.
- 5/5
Everything
- 3/5
OK for one night, stayed with pets. Mattress on pullout couch stained with blood and or ? A little disturbing. Found corn chips in master bed linens.
- 4/5
Rates were reasonable, Pet Friendly was the major asset. Lots of parking. Facility is old, and items are broke but we only stayed one night so it was just fine for us.
- 1/5
Manager (Patricia) was very rude, hung up in my face after I got charged for a room I didn’t even check into. Service was terrible !!!! Would not recommend this hotel. Manager wouldn’t give me her full name to even call someone higher than her. She stated she was the GM & hung up mid conversation.. The worker the night I tried to check in my hotel lied about me being rude when I was very patient the whole time & nice. My card was already charged for a room I didn’t even get to see yet, I left to put the deposit on my other bank card came back, he needed my boyfriend ID, so by that point I just said forget about the room. Had to wait till Monday to get my $80 refund back & manger was terribly RUDE & TOLD ME she couldn’t do a refund but ended up doing it at at the end of the day. It literally was that simple from the jump. I’m not a rude person so I expect the same in return giving the fact IM SPENDING MY MONEY WITH YALL. It’s a never again for me I’m sorry
- 3/5
I did not expect to be charged a deposit. I will be very unhappy if it isn’t promptly returned. The room had preexisting damages that I photographed.
- 2/5
The hotel is very dated. No USB port for phone charging. I didn’t like that they took a deposit they would take three business days to return.

The property itself was fine. The problem came in when someone knocked on my door at 2:30 am, claiming to be from the front desk and asking me personal questions through the door, trying to get me to open it. They didn’t let up or leave until I raised my voice and asked what they wanted. Then they claimed they had the wrong room. I tried to speak with front desk staff about it, both then and at checkout, but no one was available either time. I felt unsafe and would not stay there again.

The check in process was a bit slow compared to other hotels, front desk clerk not very friendly but was not rude either. I read a bunch of reviews before choosing this hotel as we stay in hotels often and if it is somewhere I haven't stayed I would like at least some understanding of what to expect. I read so many 10/10 reviews and this was not that. I would rate 6/10. It has many repairs and updates needed. The bed was ok enough and the bathroom fairly clean for the price but definitely not a 10/10.

This is an amazing hotel. It deserves 10 stars. This is our 2nd time here. I highly recommend to everyone who wants a welcoming and safe experience.

Not sure if guests live there but the people were loud and up all hours of the night which made it very difficult to sleep. Also the front entrance says "no smoking within 25 feet of the front entrance". There were guests and Employees smoking at the entrance and it was heavy smoke. Room was fine and area around the property was fine but still Not a good experience based on smoke and noise.

For the price this was great for us. Large room! Beds were comfortable, it had blackout curtains. Bathroom was clean (9/10), heat/air worked well. Full Kitchen in the room, so no breakfast included, but there was coffee! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Staff was helpful and once inside the room it was fine. It was clean and had regular fridge, two burner cooktop, a microwave, and sink. Large enough countertop for a few people to sit, eat, and read at. Bed was comfy. There was regular size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash inside the shower/tub. No problems with the Wi-Fi... Outside of the room was a different story! Hallway lights were dim, the carpets filthy, and the walls were dirty. People obviously lived there. The ones next door were loud and ran in and out slamming doors all day and night, clearly on drugs. Pot and cigarette smells on people and outside when going to and from my vehicle.

I tried to check-in, but there were issues with my reservation and I had to cancel it. I had to reach out Expedia to cancel it. The guy at the desk tried to hold onto my driver’s license after Expedia had cancelled the reservation. He got hostile towards me and another person waiting to check-in. I never stayed here and am still waiting for the refund back to my bank.

I don't know where to start so I'll start with the location of the room the room was located less than 10 ft from the lobby making it quite noisy, and the $200 deposit for locals that I had to pay won't be redeposited back into my account for 7 to 10 days which I know can be done quicker and theoretically should be done shortly after checking out, The AC worked but not well and was rattling loudly you could feel it vibrate the floor if you were standing close to it, the furniture in the room was in poor shape and the bed was squeaky but on the positive side, comfortable. The best thing about the room I stayed in which was handicap accessible was the shower, if you have difficulty with stability this was a great shower. On the other hand the toilet was very difficult to flush, I called the front desk because I thought something was wrong with it and I was informed I needed to turn the water on so it would flush properly but the water was on and I had this experience one other time at the same location in a different room. So the toilets at this hotel are a problem. And morning to anyone who reserves a handicap accessible room with a rolling shower, you'll be getting the same room I'm talking about. I was informed that the room directly in front of the lobby is the only one with a walk-in shower . That's a shame!
