Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its location, staff, and cleanliness, but there are recurring complaints about the parking fees, outdated rooms, and noise issues. Some guests also mention problems with the air conditioning and WiFi.
- Great location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Expensive parking
- Outdated rooms and facilities
- 5/5
This is still a big chain hotel - but the staff are really helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable with good temperature control, loads of fluffy towels and pillows, and a great location to explore Knoxville being very central, but still quiet. So worth it!
- 4/5
It was OKAY.
- 3/5
This property (June 2026) does not have amenities available as advertised. The pool is NOT available and is still covered, the water filter in fitness center doesn’t work on water fountain, the gas fire pit is not on. There is ongoing construction and maintenance. If you are traveling with families please check with the hotel before you book about what is available when you stay.
- 3/5
Room was nice. Bathroom shower’s water pressure very weak and took a long time to get hot. Very limited TV channel options. Very expensive restaurant, much cheaper and nicer food available close by outside hotel. The best thing about it is location and after that not much. At least $35 to self park, only $2 cheaper than valet which is crazy. Nickel and diming you the whole way. David at check-in was incredibly rude and set a bad tone for the stay. Enoch was very nice though. Sounds like staff is in a transition period. All in all it was ok, again the location is the key thing that makes it worthwhile.
- 3/5
Pool closed for repair entire property under construction. Had to pay to park either valet or self park. If you leave and return to your paid parking you have to tell staff or you will be charged additionally each time. First time ever paying for hotel parking. Will never stay here again

Close to everything we wanted to do. We walked everywhere

The phone in our room didn't work and there was no iron.
- 4/5
hotel location near TN Theater check in seemed slow and laborious. Just seems like it could be quicker if you made a reservation.
- 5/5
This hotel was perfect. Easy to walk to all major attractions around the city and to dining spots. One major plus was its location to the highway which made it easy to get into the city and out without having a hassle. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
Our room was terrible dated, it smelled, there were stains in the bathtub, terrible sink faucet, there was water damage in the hallway, electrical chords draped across the floor, and fans running. The parking valet was rude, spun out in the car in front of us, and squealed tires throughout the garage. When checking in at 10:30, we told the clerk we were hungry and he said the restaurant was open until 11pm, so we went straight there. The host that greeted us at 10:45 said the kitchen was closed - when we shared what the desk clerk said, she rolled her eyes and seated us. It was a terrible experience at an exorbitant price point.

- Good location, walking distance to Market square and Gay street. - Best part was the breakfast at the restaurant they partner with that is very good. Problematic: There were workmen at our window at the crack of dawn...which woke us up one morning and startled us the other. Shower heads and working was also funky. The manager was very responsive to these reports, which was very nice, but probably won't stay there again. - Good to Know: Dry Cleaning services got delayed 24 hours, so be aware this can happen. Also don't pay $40 da day for parking when there is a lot a block away that is $7 a day!
- 5/5
Love it, great place
- 2/5
There was nothing special about the property. In recent days we have stayed in another hotel that included free drinks, light dinner, and breakfast at the same price. On a personal note, the lobby is so highly perfumed it is actually difficult to breathe. We will probably seek another hotel next time we visit Knoxville.
- 4/5
Acceptable place other than Starbucks being closed one of the days
- 5/5

If you are looking for a hotel with great access to Market Square, and don’t mind blowing a month’s salary for a room that hasn’t been updated in 30 years, but has a highly perfumed and Rooms To Go trendy furniture for a lobby: let me tell you about Hilton Knoxville. The outdoor patio was the best thing here.
- 3/5
No free, freshly brewed coffee in the lobby in the morning? Most chains offer that. At almost $800 a night don’t want to have to buy at Starbucks. And barely any amenities in the room -very disappointing!
- 3/5
Expected better overall.
- 5/5
Great location friendly staff.
- 4/5
The location was perfect, we were there for a concert and it was easily within walking distance.
- 3/5
Staff was helpful and friendly I was extremely upset by the rate hike for which I was not forwarned. I booked last June, with an acceptable rate. But the rate nearly tripled without warning. When I questioned it, I was told it was graduation weekend, and rates go up. I should have been informed.

The hotel was on point with most everything needed for travel. Only issue was breakfast was to be included and it was not readily available.

Visit was during NCAA SOFTBALL REGIONALS. It was the same weekend as University of Tennessee graduation ceremonies. Hilton is located a few blocks from Market Square which is a cool walking park area with lots of history and statues. Plus many shops and restaurants. The city is very nice! The Hilton is classy. My only concern was with the bed. I expected it to be better. It was a bit lumpy. Other rooms may be more updated. The shower was good. Parking is expensive.

We booked to use the the pool after a long day on the baseball field, but it was under construction and we weren’t aware. A note on the website would have been appreciated.
- 3/5
Staff not prepared for fire alarm. Went off there and everyone was running around, no direction for guests. Mixed messages, only 1-7 floor had evacuation order. Asked cleaning lady where stairs are and she couldn’t speak English. Then elevators out most of day. Front desk doesn’t tell you need to use room key in elevator.

Location was good. Liked Starbucks in lobby The hotel is not very modern. The outside bar had potential to be great but was not open which was surprising as it was a busy weekend with a big concert in town. The inside bar was very boring. Overall it’s extremely overpriced especially compared to nearby hotels

This is our favorite place to stay when we come to Knoxville! The room is always great, staff is extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly!
- 3/5
For the price we paid for our stay, I expected a nicer room. The pictures for this hotel were deceiving.
- 4/5
The hotel is clean and in a great location downtown.
- 5/5
Great location near restaurants and shopping and the football stadium. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Amazing stay. 5/5 stars
- 3/5
Parking wasn't included in total, so was kinda deceptive
- 2/5
The property wasn’t the cleanest plus the elevator barely worked
- 3/5
Centrally located. the coffee machine was broken And did not work. Room service responded swiftly with a replacement of the machine. When a guest can clearly show on their bank account that payment has already been deducted, the appropriate response is to trace the transaction—not to charge them again with a simple “it’s not reflected on our system.” Unfortunately, reception insisted that I pay a second time at check-in, resulting in a double charge. I then spent weeks dealing with my bank in South Africa to reverse the duplicate transaction. This required additional back-and-forth with the hotel’s accounts department to obtain written confirmation that I did not owe any outstanding amount before the bank would process the reversal. It was a significant sum, which made the situation even more stressful. In addition, the hotel attempted to charge us $40 per night for weekend parking, despite the fact that most public parking garages in the area are free until Monday at 07:00. This option was not disclosed to us. Fortunately, we explored alternatives ourselves and found free parking directly across from the hotel’s garage. Overall, this experience reflected poorly on both the hotel’s billing processes and its transparency with guests. They did not clean our room either, no fresh towels during our stay, no complimentary water (not even on arrival).
- 5/5
Straight forward, good clean place.
- 5/5
Overall, nice experience. Had no issues with staff. Did have a weird smell in the room, but it went away after a few hours.

Comfortable There wasn't a microwave in my room, there also wasn't warm water from the shower or a mat for drying off- I had to put a towel down. To my surprise, there wasn't a bathroom fan to turn on for the shower either.

Nice stay but too expensive to stay longer
- 4/5
Would have appreciated a warning that construction improvements were happening during our time at the property. Missed out on some amenities that we like at this hotel due to construction. Also shower pressure was very low and unacceptable. Staff was helpful and bed was very comfortable.
- 4/5
The property was in a central location to downtown. The room was very clean. Even with the construction, it was not a major disruption to our visit. Only issues we had was elevators were not working properly. On Saturday evening there were 2 of the 3 working and by Sunday morning during checkout, there was only 1 but the staff were generous to allow us to use the service elevator so we could get checked out and get to our appointment on time. After the visit, the hotel charged for bottled waters that we did not use but again, a phone call fixed that with a refund.
- 1/5
We valeted our car and the staff would not get our car for us when we asked. They said we needed to take our luggage to our car. There are only 3 elevators and only one was working. Therefore, there were long lines to get on and off the elevator. The patio area was under construction. It would have been nice to know this in advance. The TV did not work in our room.
- 5/5
I like that there was a store to buy gifts in lobby. I like that there was a Starbucks in lobby and a restaurant on first floor. What I didn’t like was the Elevator broke down when I was in it with some other people and I got scared but we all were able to get out and told a worker what happened and he was able to bring us to our appropriate floors on his elevator. That night the elevator got fixed and it was fine the next day. All and all I loved the hotel and would stay there again.
- 5/5
Must pay to park at hotel.
- 4/5
Perfect location to downtown! Clean but basic, no frills. Nothing other than it is basically a place to sleep
- 3/5
Clean room but someone was smoking on our floor which seeped into our room. Even though there’s no restaurant that’s run by the hotel, it would be nice if the restaurant downstairs would run orders to the rooms. I called and they said they couldn’t (or wouldn’t).

Elevator was broke and a loooong line for the one that was working. Trash in parking garage was overflowing, trash sitting around the trash can.
- 5/5
Knoxville Hilton is where we usually stay when visiting. Excellent hotel where we can walk to almost every place we want to go.
- 5/5
Great Location with a great view.
- 2/5
No hot water :(
- 1/5
Terrible for 200$ a night
- 4/5
Great breakfast, great location but poor water pressure.
- 5/5
Solo traveler here! This was an awesome choice and I’d definitely be interested in booking again! Close to ever, literally walking distance & staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Breakfast restaurant was very good, valet service was very streamlined, location was very convenient to walking to many fun downtown.
- 3/5
One of the beds was just a box spring and a mattress pad. My dad didntvtwll me until we were about to leave or i would have alerted the staff during tje stay. It was great otjerwise. But tjst was a preey major disappointment. My dad is 80 and he was sore the day after
- 2/5
For $440.00 for two nights, I didn't expect to have to pay $37.00 extra each night for parking. Most low-end hotels have a parking lot with free parking. Also, the room was majorly outdated, and the bathroom was little. I have stayed in various Hiltons across the United States, and this one particular room (712) didn't hold a candle to a Hilton that I was used to staying in. I would expect to pay that kind of rate for 2 nights; everything would be included that is required to stay. If I have to visit Knoxville again, I will not be staying at this location. I know there is another Hilton in Knoxville, and hopefully it is better than what I just experienced.
- 4/5
ONLY ONE WORKING ELEVATOR
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly will definitely stay here again in the future
- 5/5
Ubicscion perfecta.
- 4/5
Clean room but the toilet didn’t have any pressure so it clogged right away and had to call maintenance. Front desk check in wasn’t very friendly. I stayed in 5 different hotels that week for college visits and all the other hotels were very friendly but not this one.
- 5/5
Parking was expensive. The Locust lot is a couple blocks down for very cheap.
- 2/5
It was just ok
- 4/5
Easy self park
- 5/5
Pool wasn’t open

- 4/5
The rooms was clean and the staff was professional. The valet was great
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff.
- 3/5
Dried blood on the toilet seat in our room, never got cleaned after calling front desk and no shampoo in the shower.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Walkable to many restaurants and little shops. Room was comfortable and very clean. Only negative was the elevator we had to wait a long time as only two were working and it has 18 floors. Other than that it was an amazing hotel
- 5/5
Great location!
- 4/5
Older with popcorn ceilings in rooms
- 4/5
Nice hotel, convenient local, clean rooms, friendly staff. Pillows were not for my best sleep.
- 3/5
I travel a lot and this was the hardest bed I’ve ever not slept on. No MSN but 3 fox stations. Not sure if that’s on the hotel or not.
- 4/5
Best welcome we had. Very friendly staff. Convenient walk to downtown. Enjoyed the gym. Room/facilities are looking the slightest bit worn but the room was comfortable and the price was very reasonable. We did love having the Starbucks.
- 5/5
The staff was fantastic in the lobby was lovely to spend time in socializing.
- 5/5
Well stocked and clean rooms
- 4/5

- 5/5
Super clean, quiet, central hotel. Enjoyed outdoor fire pit and downstairs Starbucks. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Knoxville who needs to be walking distance to everything.
- 4/5
Good location. Walkable to most areas. Good, secure parking. Rooms are clean, but in desperate need of updating
- 4/5
Very helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms, great bar. Nice gym could use a little update on equipment, wish they had a Peloton. Great location, easy access to the walking district.
- 5/5
Did not eat there
- 5/5
The room was clean and the property itself is amazing! We have yet to be disappointed with a stay at this location.
- 4/5
Very clean hotel and room- we enjoyed the stay and found everything to be in excellent shape.
- 5/5
Great Stay, walkable to downtown and University of Tennessee.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Staff friendly and helpful, room clean and hallway quiet.
- 2/5
Bar was great. All staff were friendly. Room needs updates. Fire alarm went off when taking a shower. TP holder fell off and we fixed it kind of. Round vent thing in bathroom fell out in the middle of the night and hit the floor. Elevator was bad at times only 1/3 worked. Dirty dishes were left on the table by the elevator for days.
- 5/5
One of the elevators was out. There was an anime convention in the hotel. Despite this, the stay was nice.
- 5/5
Really nice staff! Clean rooms and a great restaurant plus a Starbucks on site!
- 3/5
I really hate that the hallway smelled like weed.
- 4/5
It's an older property that needs an upgrade. Parking is expensive. The staff is friendly and restaurant is top notch. Only 2 of the 3 elevators were functioning. This created long wait times during busy periods.
- 5/5
Clean room. Everything was as advertised
- 4/5
Shower & shower head are odd. Everything else was great!
- 3/5
The room was decently clean, the bath tub has a ring around it. The room smelled awful and the smell was on our pilllows so it was hard to sleep.
- 5/5
This hotel was clean and perfect for my work trip
- 5/5
Clean spacious room. Mobile check in and mobile key easy to use. Great location.
- 4/5
are basic but Starbucks in lobby and outdoor fire pit area are bonus
- 3/5
The property is a bit dated, but in a good location. The parking structure seems a bit unsafe at night if you self park.
- 1/5
The room was outdated and smelled
- 5/5
Great stay. Perfect location. Helpful, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Location is great. We enjoyed nice hilly walks and the town before having to drive another 8-10 hours! Clean room and hospitality was top-notch!
- 2/5
Old. Not clean. Not comfortable. Drafty. No microwave. No vending. Too expensive.
- 5/5
Great location. Comfortable beds.
- 3/5
No hot water in my room.
- 5/5
Great place. Close to everything.
- 4/5
Great location
- 5/5
We visited during a snowstorm that shut down downtown Knoxville, but we had everything we needed at the hotel - Starbucks, a great restaurant, and friendly staff.
- 3/5
The lobby was beautiful, but the room not so much. The bathroom was too small with no fan. There was a dirty sock on the floor when we checked in and the air-conditioning was leaking rainwater.
- 2/5
The location was great if going to the convention center. Onsite Starbucks was nice and the hotel restaurant food was pretty good. The hotel employees were friendly and were doing the best they could. No complaints on the staff.
- 4/5
Helpful staff, clean rooms, parking garage connected to hotel. Walkable area.
- 3/5
Room was decent. Hotel was full. One elevator was down, took a while to get to and from rooms. Sometimes shower water wasnt hot. Toilet clogged up, it was embarrassing.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Very clean, kind staff, great location to walk to downtown Knoxville and quick drive to UT
- 5/5
Great hotel with a great location. The staff was amazing and very friendly.
- 5/5
Everything was great from Check-in to check-out.
- 5/5
Good downtown location. Nice restaurant attached.
- 4/5
Great location
- 1/5
This hotel smell so strongly of a horrible air freshener. If you have any chemical sensitivity beware. People in the lobby were coughing from it. We spoke to the front desk and they said they were aware of it and its part of the ventilation and they can't control it.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the staff was courteous. We also enjoyed having the Starbucks available inside the hotel!
- 4/5
Front desk staff was awesome. The air handling unit in our room was squeaky, even after a maintenance call and our keyless entry lost power. Not really anyone’s fault, just lessened the experience.
- 5/5
Ther rooms were comfortable and nice, walking distance to everything we needed.
- 3/5
The rooms were very outdated. Bathroom door look deteriorated, curtains and room carpets were dirty. Heating/cooling wasn’t able to keep up and very loud. Not enough electrical available for multiple c-pap machines. We were charged too high for garage parking which we weren’t made aware that we would pay extra to park and valet took forever to get our vehicles to the point we had to get our own.
- 3/5
Older room. Dripping tub facet. We've stayed in Hilton Garden Inns in much better condition.
- 3/5
Room was clean, staff was nice. Water bottles in lobby were insane in price. Bed was very uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Staff
- 2/5
Room was cancelled as a no show even though I had checked in through the app two days prior to arrival. Rebooked room had a new HVAC unit that wasn't hooked up to the thermostat which wasn't a big deal, but wasn't told and there was nothing in the room communicating that. Had the heat on 60 as low as it could go but room temperature was over 70. Went to open the cabinet where the refrigerator is and the door came completely off. They also charged me extra for the no show. Front desk couldn't straighten out charges so going to have to spend time contacting customer service.
- 5/5
Great stay.
- 3/5
Elevators were very slow, room was just ok. A little dated, but overall it was a good location.
- 5/5
Great location and friendly staff
- 5/5
Service! We request 2 additional pillows and a pack n play while reserving and they were setup in the room when we got there. Decided to stay another night for our daughters volleyball tournament and Allison at the front was very accommodating and took care of us! 3-4 inches of snow in the ground multiple events in Knoxville and she still was pleasant, polite and accommodating!
- 5/5
Excellent.
- 5/5
Very easy to get to, close to my event, vallet parking was quick and friendly
- 3/5
Room was alright but there seemed to be some electrical hazards. The outlet was not flush with the wall in the bathroom, and there was a slew of cords plugged into an extension cord behind the tv stand. The shower also did not get hot enough water.
- 4/5
Room was clean, which is always most important. Staff was friendly, housekeeping left a little note in our room with a water bottle which was a nice touch. The only hiccup was the elevators, only 2 out of 3 were working, and one of the 2 was hit or miss.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 3/5
Safe spot. Not very clean. One front desk member was nice, the other not so much. Decent.
- 2/5
Yes the room isn't very clean and the shower doesn't work well.
- 3/5
Shower was cold And had to pay double for parking
- 5/5
The staff were kind and helpful. The hotel was clean quiet, and convenient.
- 5/5
The hotel, it's location, amenities and the staff were amazing. The parking is just really pricey.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Nice hotel but hard to get around if the elevator was broke down
- 5/5
Very convenient location in downtown Knoxville. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The staff was great and check-in was super easy, which was appreciated since I arrived after midnight and was exhausted. The room was clean and tidy and they provided me with some toiletries since I was coming from the hospital and was not expecting to stay and had nothing with me. Very much appreciated to make a stressful day less so.
- 5/5
Nice rested night.
- 5/5
?
- 5/5
The room was clean and spacious. The view was amazing
- 3/5
Friendly staff but old and outdated rooms. One of the elevators was down so wait times were long. Not worth the price. Better options in downtown Knoxville.
- 2/5
The restroom in our room did not work
- 5/5
Well appointed rooms, extremely clean. Hotel lobby is great with plenty of seating and a fireplace. Restaurant and Starbucks on site. Parking is validated each day when you return.
- 5/5
The valet parking worked well with courteous and efficient staff. The lobby was festive for the Christmas season. Mostly, we liked the convenience of being near Market Square.
- 4/5
Check in / check out was seamless. Good location !!! Good stay !!!
- 4/5
Rating would be lower due to elevators not working. Employees should not be rated due to corporate neglect.
- 4/5
Friendly staff.
- 3/5
The front desk staff was very nice and courteous.
- 5/5
Clean room , courteous staff
- 1/5
Upon check in we were told we had to pay an additional fee of $75 even though I fully paid for the room via Expedia. This makes the total cost of the reservation more than advertised.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Everything was great, bar, food and room!
- 5/5
Great location, staff is friendly, room is clean and comfortable
- 4/5
Amazing location, convenient to downtown theaters and restaurants. Staff was friendly. Room was a bit dated and one of the elevators wasn't working making the wait time (for 18th floor) very long. Note parking is an extra cost not included in the room.
- 3/5
Though they seem understaffed, the stuff were very courteous. However, the room was a bit musty and had run out of conditioner.
- 2/5
Check in staff was unpleasant
- 4/5
Everything was good . Loved the location, the setup and the staff was kind. Two things: parking was $40 per night which is pretty high . Also, I was a the fitness room lifting weights I changed the weight in the machine and when I did the bland fell on my head. This should be fixed right away. This is very dangerous and can give me or anyone else a concussion.
- 5/5
Clean room. Awesome location.
- 5/5
Clean and very noce
- 5/5
Parking belongs to the city; you have to show your photo of the lic. plate to the front desk every time you come back. Rooms are clean, staff is second to none.
- 5/5
I loved the location. Made walking everywhere easy. The rooms were also spacious and bed was comfy. Liked having a restaurant and a Starbucks in the hotel.
- 5/5
Front desk very nice and kind, nice place and very clean
- 5/5
Great view from the 17th floor, quick walk to restaurants downtown
- 3/5
Hotel and room was not clean
- 5/5
My favorite hotel in Knoxville.
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly
- 5/5
Parking was pricey.
- 5/5
Nice hotel!!
- 4/5
Valet was less than satisfactory, and only one out of three elevators were working. Stayed on 12th floor and I walk with a cane so stairs were not an option for me.
- 5/5
Great hotel, very cozy, friendly staff, very clean.
- 5/5
The room was comfortable, the breakfast was excellent.
- 5/5
Nice hotel in a safe area
- 5/5
Very clean and the staff was wonderful and very helpful
- 5/5
The room was clean and spacious with nice amenities. I enjoyed a room service for dinner.
- 5/5
Very clean and nice
- 5/5
Although the building is not new, rooms were super clean and the customer service was excellent. Hotel is very convenient and within walking distance of all events
- 3/5
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Our hotel door kept sticking when attempting to open it and we struggled to get it open each time we left and came back. We told front desk. Room fridge had an awful smell in it. Other than that the stay was fine
- 3/5
Never stayed in such a poor room in a Hilton before. The most expensive hotel too, prices doubled for graduation ! Poor lighting, no side table or lamp one 1 side of the bed. Got the handicap shower because of recent knee replacement, but the shower was mildewed! Work out room next to ours, loud weights dropping! Furniture old and haphazardly placed in our room! Very unhappy! Thought we were getting a really nice place to rest and relax during breaks in wedding festivities, sorely disappointed!! One elevator out of service with very long waits in very hot hallways. Will not splurge for a supposedly nice Hilton again!
- 2/5
The room needs updating, the elevators were extremely slow causing logjams, the plumbing was insufficient resulting in an overflowing toilet that flooded the room, and the managers never even offered any kind of recompense for the flooded room.
- 4/5
Great location. Comfortable bed.
- 3/5
Yes
- 4/5
The elevator situation was the worst I have ever experienced. No other complaints. Valet was exceptional. Front desk efficient. Will stay there again but will request lower floor. I had to take stairs on several occasions. It was brutal.
- 4/5
What I didn’t like was parking is actually a public parking garage, and it didn’t seem to be very secure, and charging extra for earlier than 4pm check in.
- 4/5
Room was as expected.
- 4/5
Close to market street where a lot of restaurants are.
- 4/5
Clean facility, staff were very helpful.
- 3/5
Parking was very confusing & cost for parking was ridiculous. Garage not associated with hotel. Staff was friendly in all areas. Fan not working on hv/ac. Room ok & quiet but food was found under bed!
- 2/5
Location is wonderful. 1 of the 2 elevators did not work while we were there which made coming in and out very difficult. Restaurant in the hotel was grossly overpriced especially for the food provided (costing over $80 for 2 adults and a child). Would not stay here again if I am being honest.
- 4/5
The staff was great. Parking was overpriced, I would think if your staying there it would be free. I guess i missed that part when booking. The breakfast was really good, but with a voucher it was still $68.00 for 4 people!!! Thats crazy!
- 3/5
Staff are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Location is great to see the city. Rooms are in dire need of an update. Stained wallpaper, lights that don't work, and poor quality amenities. The phone in the room does not work. No free water available. Dreary. The front desk texted to ask if I needed anything and I requested my tray be picked up. However I found the tray still outside my door the next morning. Could be an exquisite hotel if improvements are put into place.
- 2/5
Overnight guy with medallian necklace didnt reply with any words, wrong about a simple question i asked. seemed like he didnt want to be there.
- 5/5
All Good
- 5/5
Everything was good. Nice place to stay.
- 4/5
Staff, locatin
- 1/5
The hotel was not in good shape ,room was moldy and dirty, toilet seat wobbled ,I had to fix the toilet tank water reservoir , dirty on the bottom of toilet with old urine, was very confusing for parking and I was over charged for parking an extra day ,elevator wasn’t working (only one was working ) which created a long wait to get to your room, no breakfast included in the stay, over all I was very disappointed with the stay the only positive thing about this experience was the staff they tried their best ..
- 5/5
Great stay and great location. Bartender was great as well.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful, and the rooms were not bad. The location is great.
- 4/5
The only issue we had with our stay…at times there was only 1 elevator working. One was blocked off with a sign saying that it was under repairs. That left two for an 18 story hotel with approximately 20 to 30 rooms per floor two elevators were OK but at times only one of those two were working. Having to wait 15 minutes for the elevator in a higher end hotel is a little ridiculous.
- 1/5
Not a pleasant stay at all , room was run down , toilet seat was wobbly, stain on the bottom of toilet, mold all over including the fan , which made us sneeze a lot , parking was not easy and they had no free breakfast, over all I wouldn’t stay here again
- 2/5
With only one elevator working, coming and going from the hotel had an added 20 minute wait. The staff was not friendly, and did not explain added charges to our bill. Overrall frustrated with our stay and will not be returning.
- 4/5
Check in area in front of building is congested.
- 4/5
Was a real breakfast, not oatmeal in paper bowls! Two blocks to downtown, easy walk. Easy to find and leave from town next morning.
- 4/5
Friendly people
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Nice hotel easy walk to stadium. Clean
- 5/5
YES
- 5/5
The elevators were very slow and the hotel was booked solid. Waited almost a half hour for an elevator at one point.
- 4/5
Staff was nice. Room was clean. Elevators were a issue as they seemed to run real slow and only had 2 working.
- 3/5
Before I booked this stay, I checked about bringing my small dog. The site only said "Pets are welcomed". But when I checked in they told me I had to pay $100 for my little dog to sleep in this room we already paid $117 for me my wife and daughter. I will never stay here again!
- 5/5
Very good place, came from Pa, everyone was very kind.
- 4/5
Staff was great, elevators are horrible
- 5/5
While the staff was very nice and friendly, the rooms are outdated and require renovations. Additionally, the beds are uncomfortable.
- 4/5
Room wasn’t cleaned 100%. Seems someone may had been in there between the cleaners and us. They had a really cute welcome bag for our dog even though she ended up not coming.
- 5/5
The staff was incredible from check in to valet. Rooms were great as was the restaurant. Even the Starbucks was fantastic - which is not usually the case for hotel Starbucks, in my experience. Only issue was elevator wait times which can’t be helped when it’s game day!!
- 4/5
They only had one elevator working. They got the second elevator working soon after our arrival. They did not give guests any breaks on price for their parking or buffet. The buffet was $27.95 plus taxes. To me that absolutely uncalled for. You could walk about 1/2 mile to find another place to eat. But, unfortunately I am handicapped and have trouble walking.
- 4/5
The staff was always so kind and helpful
- 3/5
Minutes to leave even though all our things were packed up.
- 3/5
Room was fine. Elevator was broken so there were huge lines for the ones that were working. Staff was nice
- 4/5
.
- 4/5
Great hotel in a great location. Would definitely stay there again
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the staff very nice and helpful.
- 5/5
Will definitely stay there again!
- 3/5
Rooms were adequate but in need of major update; elevator wait was 20-30 minutes during busy time in morning due to out of service carts; service was friendly
- 4/5
Maintenence guy that replaced our tv was awesome. Very nice and personable.
- 5/5
Very comfortable room, clean, nice pillows!!!
- 5/5
Great location clean hotel and friendly staff
- 5/5
Great experience
- 5/5
The suite was built and designed perfectly for my my wife, who loved it
- 3/5
Room was good, staff was courteous. Pool was closed. On two mornings beginning at 5am work crews working g on the elevators began making, talking loudly and slamming doors. I was unable to get back to sleep. I left a day early.
- 4/5
The room and amenities were fine. Food was good but two out of three elevators weren’t working for part of a busy college football weekend. They got 2 out of 3 working but waits were long and you had to get on and go up to ensure you’d have a spot on the way down.
- 5/5
Bar was a nice perk. Hitel is beautiful
- 5/5
Very nice stay
- 5/5
My favorite hotel. The bed is perfect.
- 5/5
Great atmosphere!
- 1/5
I want to start by saying, the staff is amazing, friendly, and attentive. They are great. One of the 3 elevators works. There are lines on every floor to use the elevator. The WiFi does not work. I tried troubleshooting with the lady at the front desk, it shows as available but has no capabilities. I had a good amount of work to do, and was unable to do any of it. I went to the gym and used the treadmill - there was no water in the water station. Other gym users expressed frustration too. Frankly, I want a refund or some compensation for this stay. The state of the hotel completely hindered any productivity I needed for this trip.
- 1/5
Room was cancelled because Expedia didn’t send information over. Called Expedia and call taker wouldn’t listen and rushed through doing her job. Would not recommend or use this service again unless Expedia helps for my inconvenience
- 4/5
gave me wrong room
- 3/5
Staff was very nice. Room was not as clean as it could be. There was hair on surfaces and on the towels. The sink didn’t drain very well and at one point some sort of sediment came up from the sink drain
- 2/5
Elevators didn't work. 20 minute wait times. No compensation. Valet and "pass thru" car lanes blocked preventing entry. Car allowed to park and walk away in pass thru lane!?!? HVAC didn't work. Pot smoke filled hallway. No room service until repeated calls.
- 5/5
The stay was wonderful and the staff was beyond helpful!!
- 2/5
My flight was delayed, and I called, they said my room will be saved. So I got there, and my king bed was gone, and I was given two queens. Not such a big deal except for the fact that I planned this trip for three months with my girlfriend. Then the elevators are down, you have to wait for a long amount of time to go up or come down. I would just walk up the stairs or down, but we around the 16th floor. Any of this in an of itself is not the end of the world, but when you’re paying over $300 a night doesn’t seem right.
- 5/5
The hotel had live music on the patio both Friday and Saturday nights. There was food options on the patio or you could eat in the restaurant. Our room was good. The staff was very nice. When we checked in late Thursday night the front desk was not able to assign the king size room we had reserved. There was an issue with the system. They did apologize. We did not park a vehicle. The hotel is very conveniently located to Market Square. in the system, but they did apologize.
- 5/5
Location, self park availability adjacent to hotel; clean, nice views
- 2/5
The hotel needs to be modernized. Rooms and grounds need upkeeping very old and a bit run down.
- 3/5
The cons: the building is very old. The elevators don’t all work so you will wait a very long time for an elevator. The rooms are outdated. Our sink was clogged where it would fill up to the top brushing our teeth or washing our faces and even though they came to “fix” it, it was not resolved. Expedia had this property listed as “free breakfast”. It was NOT free. We had 2 adults and 2 children staying in our room. We were given a voucher for 2 people only, up to $18 per person to use for the “restaurant” for breakfast. We went one time- if was a buffet- and we were charged $18 per child and $28 per adult. We ended up with a bill for $82 for breakfast as they included a 25% tip as well (to be fair the service was good getting us drinks but it was a buffet). Parking also is more than Expedia listed. On game weekends, parking is $55 per day and is the same if you valet or self park. All in all, great location and convenient but hotel was run down and had lots of extra costs.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay and being close to the event we were attending at the convention center as well as being able to walk to shopping and restaurant areas. They were refurbishing the elevators so that was a long wait at times but that should be complete soon. I would stay again.
- 1/5
Only one elevator was working. It took me 25 minutes to go down form the 18 floor in 20 minutes in starbucks to get coffee. This is unacceptable I lost my meeting. Beside the fact the bathroom was run down. I will never ever stay there again.
- 5/5
建築較為老舊,所以隔音不是太好,但是人員服務熱忱佳,位置也算方便?
- 2/5
Worn - need refresh. Carpets in halls and rooms dirty. Seems to have had a lot of hard usage.
- 5/5
Room
- 3/5
Lots noise coming through walls and ceiling
- 5/5
Staff was great, location was great. Clean room. Parking attendants were also very helpful. We will be back.
- 4/5
Location
- 5/5
Room was good and staff wonderful.
- 5/5
The room was clean, beds were comfortable and staff was great!
- 5/5
It felt safe walking around to dinner and to a concert at a nearby theater.
- 5/5
.
- 2/5
Tired property. Good staff at check in.
- 5/5
This property is a great place to stay in Knox. Walkable to everything you need.
- 5/5
Clean room and close to event center!
- 3/5
The sink was somewhat clogged. It took a while to fully drain. I called the front desk to ask about a later checkout and the rude lady said they could only allow 30 extra minutes. When we went to check out the same lady seemed like she was in a hurry and barely spoke to me.
- 5/5
Good location with easy walking access to downtown and Old Knoxville. Convenient to have Starbucks in the lobby. The Locust Street Garage is maybe a 2-3 minute walk and costs a max of $7 per night for parking. I parked after 5 each night and paid $1-2 which was much cheaper than the $35-38 per night to park at the hotel.
- 4/5
Short walk to the hotsspots. Regular hilton. Friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Great location and ammenities - a very pleasant experience
- 4/5
This is an older hotel, but well-maintained. Our 2-Queen room was very small, esp for 3 people, but fine for one night. Bathroom was small too. All staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Would stay again.
- 4/5
Accommodating staff & friendly
- 5/5
The room was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the extra blanket in the closet. Close to cafes and restaurants, very walkable and convenient to major roads.
- 5/5
I loved it
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Was only there a night, Neyland in perfect walking distance.
- 3/5
Room was clean and well- stocked. Front desk service was helpful and efficient. My complaint is about the noise. First, their was a whistling noise coming from the door to the room that was super noisy. We were able to solve that noise by placing stuff in front of the door to block an apparent airflow creating the sound. The other noise, that was the main issue, couldn't even be drowned out using a sound machine (which was in the room so I assume they know its an issue). We believe maybe we were hearing the elevator but it wasn't even that noisy in the elevator. In any case, the purpose of the room is sleep and nobody got any sleep. We definitely won't stay here again.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, very nice room, Starbucks and nice restaurant on site, within a short walk to many amenities, including Neyland Stadium.
- 4/5
Stayed here for a weekend in Knoxville. Very convenient to walkable restaurants and entertainment. Property is a little on the older side but very clean and modern. The elevators are very slow, but think they were working on them.
- 5/5
Front desk was so friendly. Easy check in process!
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
Hotel was nice. Bar food was great. Staff was great. We were on the 17th floor and the elevators are the only Downside to this place. I waited about 15 minutes for the elevator to go downstairs twice. For the hat they charge, let’s update the elevators guys. Overall place is solid.
- 5/5
Parking was easy. Staff was friendly. The staff working in morning at breakfast were very friendly and easy to chat with. Overall would highly recommend this to a friend. Would def. stay again.
- 4/5
This was a great property to be within walking distance of downtown.
- 5/5
Centrally located close to Market Square and restaurants
- 3/5
I was locked out of my room for about 30 minutes. They had to move my room and downgraded me from a renovated room to an older room.
- 5/5
I stayed a total of 5 nights. Hotel was clean, safe, had great amenities and night to morning staff was welcoming and helpful. The hotel was in walking distance to many dining options and a short drive to downtown.
- 3/5
Checkin was handled well, after that staff wasn’t friendly when having some issues. Hotel is not up to Hilton standard.
- 5/5
Love property and staff.
- 5/5
Great location, parking was easy. Staff of great. Has a lovely outdoor area with firepit.
- 5/5
We had a great stay. The location was perfect and we could walk to everything. Would stay again.
- 5/5
The property and kind staff made me want to revisit Knoxville that very first night!
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.
- 2/5
I had booked two queens and got a King. Staff said they were overbooked and nothing could do. Two elevators working for 18 floors.
- 4/5
Hotel was a little dated.
- 3/5
Elevators take forever. Waiting in a line at check in on a Friday. Rooms are dingy. Need updating. Bathroom in hotel room super small and needs updating. Staff was friendly and nice. Hotel is a good location for a football weekend.
- 5/5
Great weekend stay
- 5/5
It honestly look like a parking garage elevator in Chicago
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel in a beautiful downtown area
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Clean room
- 5/5
Nice place.
- 5/5
Really great location can walk to most things or grab public transportation nearby. Breakfast was included and was a great portion and very good quality.
- 5/5
The front desk and bartender were both top notch
- 3/5
Stayed here for first Friday. It was convenient.
- 5/5
Very clean, friendly staff nice restaurant.. great outdoor space
- 4/5
Good overall location to the downtown entertainment area and to the university.
- 3/5
hotel was somewhat empty, we one of if not the worst views possible.
- 5/5
Very Friendly, great location and nice room
- 5/5
Everything was very neat and tidy, and the staff was super friend
- 1/5
This place was horrible ! Smelled like animals in the room ,shower bathroom was dirty hair in the corners 😡the ice machine is on every other floor along with the microwave! I would never stay here again !! Oooh and the air conditioning did not work !!!
- 4/5
When we got there on Friday they decided to do a software update that totally crashed the system which may check in extremely annoying and long seems like anybody with any sense would've done a software update earlier in the day and not on a weekend. But since when did corporation so much sense
- 4/5
Great stay. Close to everything
- 4/5
The parking situation was confusing with what we were told by hotel staff and what was posted in the parking garage. Other than that, the property was good but average compared to other hotels in this price range. Good but nothing special. The staff at check in were very nice and explained the parking situation after a few questions.
- 5/5
Visiting UT so it was close to campus. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only thing I didn't like was the tub shower vs a regular walk in. I didn't ask to change rooms but I bet they would have accomdated me if I had asked.
- 3/5
rooms are showing wear and tear. very dark and not much lighting. the room was clean and the staff was fantastic. valet staff super on top of it too. Starbucks in the hotel lobby is a huge plus.
- 5/5
Checking was fast - dining in the restaurant was very good
- 4/5
Nice hotel. But could use some updates
- 4/5
Close to UT campus.
- 5/5
Friendly service and very clean!
- 3/5
Place is starting to appear run down. Tables in the halls have lamination starting to come up, water rings on table tops. Elevators were out of service and service request lights didn’t light up.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
The beds were very uncomfortable and we couldn’t figure out the tv remote controls. We will return.
- 2/5
The valet was great and did a good job!
- 4/5
Hotel was great but elevators were not working which created very long wait times and the shower was not warm at all.
- 5/5
Great property and staff. Kelly at the front desk was awesome. The restaurant needs a little work on customer service. Beware of the Starbucks coffee shop. Typical Starbucks employees who don’t like conservative people. Especially the guy with the tattoos of birds on his arm. I have reported him to corporate Starbucks.
- 3/5
Great staff, mostly clean but hotel is old and has not really been updated
- 2/5
It really affected my stay and checked out early.
- 5/5
Great room for the price.
- 5/5
It was a nice hotel
- 4/5
Everything was great except the elevators. They take forever and made us late on multiple occasions.
- 5/5
The only thing that was a negative is the valet parking they parked my truck under a tree the next morning had sap all over it
- 5/5
Hotel location is perfect for walking downtown. Staff was great, outside bar was great. Our bathroom sink dripped and wasn’t the most updated room but really we have no complaints overall and will definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Great for Vols game
- 5/5
Great experience
- 1/5
$55 per day for self parking. Staff was not friendly.
- 5/5
Wade took care of us from the moment we pulled up with all our luggage and when we left as well. Davin was nice at the front desk and a pleasure to meet.
- 5/5
Nice hotel and walking distance from Neyland Stadium. Shower leaked and the sink stopper needed to be repaired/ replaced. Other than that good experience there
- 3/5
How does a 17 floor hotel not manage to have all three elevators operational for a home football weekend? I don’t remember another hotel stay with lines of guests trying to get into elevators snaking out into the lobby.
- 2/5
April J very rude at check in, not very helpful. Bathroom out of conditioner and body lotion at check in and never replaced
- 5/5
Friendly
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Parking was listed as included when I booked, but then wanted to charge an extra 40/night instead when I arrived. Nope. Then when got to room, the AC was condensing water all on the inside if the room carpet. Moved to another room, but not the quality or service I would expect.
- 4/5
Great hotel in relation to the convention center. The elevators are a big problem so plan on it taking a long time to ride the elevator up or down, especially during the weekend.
- 1/5
We checked in and check out less than 5 minutes after we got there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. We were not refunded due to paying thru Expedia. Literal cobwebs in room dusty and SUPER DATED. I would upload pictures if I was giving the option….
- 5/5
Nice location, close to Market Square and Gay St. Clean room and comfortable bed. Easy parking in attached garage.
- 5/5
Loved it
- 1/5
I stayed there with my son while visiting UT and the bathroom was not clean at all. I found black hair along the back of the toilet and clumps on the floor. When I went to go to shower you could only get Luke warm water to come out for a few seconds then it went back to cold. I called to front desk and they said they would have someone from maintenance take a look. An hour later still nothing and we had to start packing. Such a shame because the bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious. I never have any issues booking at a Hilton.
- 5/5
Nice property
- 4/5
Toilet is too close to the ground...seems to be an overall issue. With hip and back issues...scary
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
Room was super clean, good location
- 5/5
G
- 5/5
Very easy service and excellent dining facility
- 4/5
It was a nice property and we would definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
Needs a makeover
- 3/5
Older than I thought would pick an upgraded room next time
- 3/5
Average stay - not up to the usual Hilton-type quality. Valet service was great but expensive. Place was a little dirty.
- 3/5
Hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. Restaurant was really good. My only complaint is I was charged for two nights parking and I only stayed one and it has been a real hassle getting the second night off even though it was taken care of behind left.
- 4/5
This was my first stay at a Hilton and it was very nice and staff was helpful with any questions I had.
- 4/5
I did not like that we had to pay to park our car!
- 5/5
Convenient location to UT Campus and great restaurants. Parking was convenient but garage was full all the time!
- 5/5
And clean, comfortable rooms.
- 4/5
This place is reasonably priced and in a great area for walking around Downtown Knoxville. The restaurant has great food and the staff are helpful and friendly. The room was clean, but the couch was worn badly and the bathroom shower appeared to have water damage behind the marble/granite on the wall. Overall, the price was right, the bed was comfortable, and I felt I got what I paid for.
- 4/5
Bed mattress was old and uncomfortable Pillow are worn flat. Sheets are low quality
- 5/5
I had such a great stay here.. my daughter goes to UT and i’ve wanted to stay here for a while - it’s really ideal and perfectly situated in Knoxville - and it’s got a great Starbucks in lobby!
- 3/5
Dry/unwelcoming hostess at reception
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Very clean
- 4/5
The rooms were dated and the porcelain was chipping in the bathtub. The area next to air conditioner looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed in years.
- 5/5
Great room. Very clean and the staff was amazing.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Great location! Clean and welcoming.
- 4/5
Sufficient but a little dirty
- 5/5
Nice area around hotel.
- 2/5
2. The room was not cleaned, no clean towels and trash was not picked from room. This is not acceptable
- 5/5
Great hotel.
- 5/5
Property was very clean and staff was efficient
- 4/5
This hotel is old and it shows. Our thermostat said it was 67° in our room, but it was still humid and warm in there. It hasn’t been updated in a while.
- 5/5
We have stayed at this location several times and will continue to come back!!
- 3/5
The front desk staff, valets and restaurant staff were great but our room smelled musty when w checked in and when we got back from dinner the floor was wet from the air conditioning. We called the desk from the room phone and nobody answered so I had to call with my cell to the main number and then someone answered. They sent someone to clean up the water and to replace the mini fridge as that wasn’t working either. They offered to move us to a different room, but it was late and the only available room had a king with a pullout and my son didn’t want to sleep on a pull out, can’t say I blame him. We were gone all day the next day and the floor was wet again once we got back. We had to have someone come up and use a wet vac. I didn’t ask to switch to a new room the 2nd night because it was already late and we were leaving at 5 the next morning. We have to go to Knoxville multiple times a year and will find another place to stay.
- 3/5
We stayed 2 nights, one elevator was not working for the whole time. Many people had to walk stairs… there was a gun show along with students moving into UTK. Staff overall was very nice but not enough of them. Tv at the bar outside didn’t work for football games and that bar was severely understaffed.
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
There was but a sil
- 4/5
It was nice. Should have a feee breakfast or at least coffee in the lobby for the cost of a room 200$
- 4/5
The location is great and the room was clean and comfortable. That said, this hotel is in dire need of a renovation. It has a 90s feel and the wear is showing in the decor. During our stay, there was something wrong with the elevators which led to long wait times.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. The property is a bit dated in the rooms but it is very convenient for walking to downtown attractions!
- 4/5
One of the elevators was down other than that it was a nice facility within the city
- 3/5
Housekeeping mia
- 1/5
Was super dirty, awaiting a refund. Only could stay one night due to how dirty it was
- 5/5
Every person we spoke with was great. Got the feeling they just wanted to make our stay fabulous. The room was ok. It was the smallest bathroom without a vent fan. I like a hot shower and without a fan it’s very steamy for a long time. Was not the cleanest place I’ve stayed. I didn’t feel as if I would catch a disease. Could have been cleaner. The sink had cracks in it. The pool area is lacking. No restroom near by. Overall lack luster.
- 4/5
The hotel is in a great location - walkable to market square, gay st., and old city. The rooms are a bit dated, the lobby and restaurant/bar area are nice. The outside bar was closed when we were there but looked like a nice area with a fire pit. The pool area has much to be desired so if you’re looking to hang at the pool this hotel is not for you. Staff was very nice and parking very easy, valet or self park, you pay for it but that is the same in all hotels located in a city.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Great location close to UT!!
- 4/5
good
- 5/5
Had a great stay here. Very convenient in a comfortable living space
