I like that the hotel is technically in the city but tucked up on a hill away from the city. I did not like the directions. Once you get close to the hotel on paper mill drive where it tells you to turn right, but you actually can keep straight.

Rooms are a little dated but staff is very friendly and room is clean

Hotel was fine and located in a great area for an overnight stay. Breakfast was good and the staff extremely polite and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel for others.

Everything was nice and clean. The breakfast had many selections, but unfortunately every morning was similar and eggs were too soft for my liking and the meat options had non-pork item only once. There are many chicken, turkey and beef options available so it would be nice to focus on meats more total people can eat. The south is inundated with pork meals everywhere.

when we checked in late in the night. the front desk lady asked us if its ok to allow her traineeto help us with the check in process. sure and the trainee did good. well, we had to wait till late afternoon to go to the event so did not want to leave the room too early. we asked first but they told us by noon. I think we actually left half an hour after 12, but no problem. gld they did not kick us out.

The toilets were not clean. The table still had food particles + the room was smelly

The body wash dispenser was completely empty. I know it seems harsh to give a 1 star for that, but simple details like that should not be overlooked when you are paying $300 night. If I had stayed at the Red Roof Inn I would have had a bar of soap.

For longer stays, I prefer an apartment rental with a full kitchen, but this was perfect for one night. A nice perk - warm, fresh cookies at check in.

Our Hampton Inn room and the facilities were very clean. The staff was very kind and friendly! We had an issue with the TV remote and that was taken care of expediently with care! The parking lot was full but easily accessible when coming and going. Breakfast was a typical continental buffet/self serve but staff was available to answer questions or assist guests and always more smiles on their faces!

The heating and air was fine. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan and there should have been a light or lamp on the desk. Tammy who was manning the free breakfast was very cheeful and helpful. She greeted each guest and made sure everyone was taken care of. An awesome example of customer service!!!

The service was excellent, and I want to highlight Karla at the front desk. It had been a very stressful day when we arrived, AND I had messed up my reservation. Karla was very helpful, friendly, patient, and empathetic to my situation. We checked in and had nothing but a great stay there after.

Went to get in the pool and discovered someone had pooped in the pool. Hotel staff was not reactive and didn’t offer anything of substance to offset the disgusting situation because I booked through Expedia. Expedia offered only $50 for the almost $200 room. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED.

The staff was very helpful. My son arrived after breakfast and the person cleaning up noticed he was grabbing a coffee & approached him asking if he had breakfast. When he responded no, she asked if he would like some muffins & brought him two. So sweet to notice him & ask.

The television did not work and it was also not facing the bed.

When I came to check in the man behind the counter was so rude and abrasive I didn't want to stay there because I didn't want him to know what room I was going to be in. He informed me as I left that he would make sure I was charged whether I stayed or not

Room was spotless. Only had keycards to one room when the reservation was for two. Issue corrected promptly but the keys to the first weren't activated so I had to take a trip back to the lobby to get that corrected. Bed was comfortable and the room was a good size.

Room was not as clean this time. Noticed drink or some sort of liquid stains on the bathroom counter. The bed linen was not smoothed out so appeared as though someone had sat on both beds and I found hair within the sheets on one of them. On a more positive note, the check in staff was nice.

Wasnt able to stay due to a winter storm called on Thursday 48 hours prior and was not able to cancel, will never use again. Nothing against the hotel but they refused to cancel aned refered me to Expedia

The staff at check in was courteous, friendly and helpful. They texted to ask how my stay was going shortly after I checked in. The room made me question if it had someone already staying in it so I texted back with my concerns. The staff moved me to another room almost immediately which was definitely ready for a new guest. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast provided a variety of options from hot foods such as southwest omelettes, chicken sausage, waffles and oatmeal. They had a variety of yogurt and bread or bagels too. I utilized the fitness center that morning which had ample equipment for a great workout. The staff was awesome and made this a wonderful experience.

We will definitely stay here again! The room was spacious and comfortable. While the decor is a little dated, the staff, (especially Karley and Chris) more than made up for it! From beginning to end, Karley and Chris went out of their way (even to the point of checking not 1, not 2, but 3 places) for a hairdryer for my wife! Checking in and out was a breeze. The breakfast was quite possibly the best we have had for a hotel like this. The eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, and omelettes were fantastic! There was also a nice fruit and cereal selection. The coffee was rich and full of flavor. Thank you guys for a WONDERFUL stay!

The staff was wonderful. Everyone spoke English and we could understand the employees. Smelled clean. It has become almost the normal to go to hotel and smell what our family calls pine sol, cigarettes, and weed. Very nice hotel.

We had our dog. Everyone was very welcoming and we made new friends with the other dogs. It would be lovely if the dog area had like a fence and a couple seats for people to sit and chat while their dogs play. But I realise you don’t have a lot of property. Food was great. Everything was wonderful.

Upon arrival the smell of hotel was remarkable. It’s smelled clean without any chemical smell. The hotel was emasculate. We saw many staff members cleaning. Of course I left a tip in my rooom. The staff deserve a lot of praise for the cleanliness of their facility. The layout of the room was different than IHG and we liked it a lot. They had a large desk center of the room. The room felt warm and inviting. The shower pressure was amazing and the products for shampoo conditioner were all animal harm free. Plus a real bar of soap. The hot tea available came with honey love that detail. Quiet and CLEAN. Staff also friendly professional and clean attire and presentable.

The staff at Hampton Inn & Suites Knoxville Papermill Drive is outstanding - due to flight changes, we met people on different days and shifts…very kind and helpful. I gave 4 stars for the property because parking is challenging if there are guests with trailers or other [extra] large vehicles, etc.

We stopped here for one night on our cross country road trip and it was a great place to sleep. Check in was quick, staff were friendly, and the room was super clean and modern. Very nice updated rooms compared to some Hampton Inns we stayed at on the rest of our trip. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

There were some signs of aging as the walled nightstand was pulling off the wall and the heater/AC unit had a physically broken control panel (was still able to control the temperature) The breakfast was good. The kitchen staff was so bright and cheerful. The front desk staff were very helpful upon check-in and check-out. Overall, the stay was good, and I will be staying there again for future visits to the Knoxville area.

Check in clerk was welcoming and friendly. Hotel was clean. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, pillows were flat .U didn't sleep at all. The hotel had 2 elevators however only 1 was out of order the during my entire stay on a busy weekend. The wait for an elevator was at least 7-10. The one working elevator was extremely crowded as guest were checking in/out. I was disappointed and would not recommend this hotel

While there isn't much in walking distance, there is a lot iwthin a 15 minutes drive, accessing both west Knoxville and downtown Knoxville, and the adjacent Bearden area of Kingston Pike. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean as is the norm for Hampton Inns

This a great pet-friendly hotel right off I-40 (easy-on and off). Near restaurants and grocery. The hotel is in great shape (clean) and well-run. My family travels through Knoxville on a regular basis and we stay here if we have the option.

They let us check in and there was no water anywhere in the motel. My wife had to have surgery the next day and do a lot of prep for operation and could not without water

It was a nice hotel and nearby to downtown Knoxville and Neyland Stadium where we were going. It was a quick drive from the hotel to both places, only about 3-4 miles away. We did try to get an Uber or taxi to Neyland on Sunday night, but it doesn't seem like Knoxville is ready to handle the types of crowds. We weren't able to get either but llike I said it was an easy drive there.

Found a dead cricket in the bathroom and a hair in the bed. My Hotels.com reservation was canceled by the hotel somehow. Hotels.com listing shows a $25 charge for up to two pets but the front desk attendant said it costs $30 per pet.

I like how there was plenty of bottled water available. Breakfast was yummy. Parking was decent. The only thing that brought my rating down was the lack of housekeeping.

This was my second time staying here and I’m very happy with the hotel.

Another doctor visit for a procedure I have to have on a regular basis, always stay at this Hampton Inn. It’s convenient and the staff are friendly and kind. When they remember you from past visits it makes you feel like they really care about their customers.

Staff was awesome! We originally booked a two bed room as friends were supposed to come with us but couldn’t last minute. I asked if there were any king rooms available still when we checked in and they said there was a king suite and that they would do a complementary upgrade for us, which was very sweet, it was my husbands birthday trip and we were attending a concert! Everything was very clean.

We love the location when visiting Knoxville. easy to get to Kingston ok and west town area plus easy to hop onto I40 to get to other areas of town. Only minor complaint was coffee has a rubbery taste but overall our stay was excellent
