Farragut Inn & Suites

Not only did my room (Room 113) have bedbugs (I am covered in bites after less than a 6 hour stay), but the amenities are largely exaggerated at this motel. There was hardly anything available at their “continental breakfast”, and the room was visibly damaged (holes in the walls, a cracked bathroom door, non-working shower, and cigarette burns in all of the blankets). This was a hugely disappointing experience.

Wifi did not work in room; would only connect in lobby. Nice clerk let me try another room which didn't work either. No power to heating and cooling unit so no heat or AC. Bugs, hair on tub walls and visible debris on floor. Damaged plaster and really sloppy paint job. Outside litter and overflowing trash cans and potholes in parking lot. ONLY breakfast items are waffles, coffee and apple juice.

No amenities as stated in the ad. Breakfast only had coffee and waffles, nothing else. No pool as stated. Staff was rude when asked questions and rolled their eyes when I asked for a couple more towels. Bathroom could have been cleaner and one of the beds did not have a blanket, only sheets. Would not stay here again.

Checked in and the room was nice and clean until I went into the restroom and it was flooded...it was the water line connected to the toilet and instead of them fixing it they just turned the water valve off that supplied the water to the toilet. Other than that the stay was good. Do better on your maintenance!

Excellent stay at the Farragut Inns and Suites. Exactly what I expected based on the reviews. I wanted a cheap place to stay and didn't need any perks. The room was very cool when I entered so I was grateful for the working AC at a quiet noise level. I had a 2nd floor backside room with a swamp view. I engaged the neighbor's entertainment system by sitting on the bed and slightly moving which caused squeaks that must have been designed for their entertainment. The gym was located inside the bathroom 🚻 which had the door handle removed, most likely a hand strengthening device. I tried both hands, no escape, and thankfully had brought a washcloth in which gave me necessary grip to effectuate an escape. Management was anxious to provide a clean environment by cutting out almost half of the blood and burn holes in the bed cover. Extra bonus for the microwave that has 2 electrical outlets on the front...just in case!

They put me in a smoking room after requesting a non-smoking room. After asking to be switched, he informed me only smoking rooms are available. The motel was virtually empty. The entire room smelled like a cigarette.

It was safe and private, clean and convenient. The AC works extremely well…too well actually! There were no blankets on the beds! Just a sheet and coverlet and we were cold all night! Did not sleep well! Other than the blanket situation and breakfast being only waffles it was a decent stay.

By all means, avoid this rathole. I cnn't believe that the county hasn't shut them down.

Door knob broken on bathroom. Floor needed to be mopped. Sheets blood stained. Mattress pad had plastic patches which were rough! Phone did not work.

Was not a clean establishment at all. Cockroaches were seen. Bath Tub bottom was pitch black from standing water over the years. Hot water and clean sheets though! Breakfast included ONLY consisted of a waffle machine and coffee. You get what you pay for :/

Unfortunately, almost nothing about it was genuine. I almost never leave bad reviews because I figure the business is struggling to do better. You decide on this one. The booking was for a 2bed room with a tub (jetts, safety features,etc). What we got was: A room with 1bed & a jacuzzi (see pix). Since room available was extremely limited, we accepted we weren't going to get what we booked. However, there's reasonable accommodation & there's lack of interest in customer satisfaction. Here's the list of problems: Pillows smelly&yellow and clerk thought it funny we were asking for pillows--We actually went to local big box store and bought pillows. TP was wet, so couldn't use it. Was given more TP--Then we realized it was wet because bathroom ceiling leaking Hot-tub filthy Half-used toiletries displayed Shower filthy and extremely slick Floor didn't appear to be clean The A/C functioned well. The mini-fridge was operational. Everything else wasn't clean or wasn't working. Enter at your own risk!!!

There was no comforter on the bed only a sheet, no remote for the tv, dried boogers on the side of the bed, hair dryer was also melted.

Was ok in a pinch for having somewhere to stay for the concert. But wouldn’t stay here again. Only had top sheets for blankets on the beds. Lots of touch ups needed on the walls in the room. The pillows were old and very flimsy. Could use a few upgrades and touch ups and it wouldn’t be bad.

It's okay for the most part could be cleaned better. Rooms aren't always stocked with necessary items. Laundry is always broke. Breakfast is little to none half the time could add some fruit toast or even cereal.

The hotel is evidently an old place needs to be updated and remodeled bathtub was Brown. The wall were all tore up. The best thing back was the mattress was comfortable

There was no comforter one one of the beds only a loose sheet, the receptionist pulled a dirty fuzzy blanket out for us to use.

Room was clean and spacious. Huge tv and hot working shower. Central heating system was great for a cold night. The pricing was fantastic! The staff was friendly and accommodating. No Notes.

The bed has bed bugs

The room was visibly unattractive, the bathroom was very shabby with broken tile and filthy grout. We chose not to walk barefoot or shower there. The floors were sandy. The air conditioner was temporarily wired with wire exposed. The tile in the shower was broken. The soap dish was broken.The bed appeared clean and was comfortable enough. A picture hanging on the wall was in a broken frame. The area at the back of the parking was swamp land. The supposed breakfast had coffee and hot water. It had no teabags for hot tea. There was dry cereal and a pitcher containing possibly milk. The waffle machine worked and syrup was available but no butter or margarine. There was orange juice was diluted.

We booked a room for two nights, it was fairly inexpensive and convenient to the venue we were going to. When we arrived the front desk staff was very friendly & gave us the room keys. Our room was on the back side of the building on the bottom floor (unsure if that is relevant to the problem) and when we opened the door, the smell of body odor/stale cigarette smoke/mold/mildew was like a punch to the face. We were running late for a dinner so we decided to get ready in the room anyway & would make a decision once we came back…thought maybe turning the air on for a bit would help circulate the stale air. When we got back the smell was even worse, & when I checked around the bedding there was mildew under the mattress. The clothing that we had left hanging smelled like the room, it was just downright gross. We checked out that same night and found another place. The front desk staff was very nice and refunded one night, but didn’t question why we were leaving/unhappy with the room and didn’t offer a different room or accommodation, so that makes me think it happens often. The property itself was poorly maintained, & i honestly don’t think I would not have felt safe there if my husband was not with me. The WiFi was completely open (no password) which is also incredibly sketchy to me.

Disgusting! Blood on curtains, cigarette ashes on the floor, stained comforter, wall peeling from water damage, leaky faucet, smelled musty and smoky.

This property was so disgusting that we left 2 days into our week stay and paid for another place to stay. We saw 3 different rooms at this motel and they just kept getting worse. If you like mold, bugs, and a dirty room then this is the place for you. PSA they have ONE MAN to clean this entire motel, just one.

This place hasa lot of work that need to be done. When I walked in the room assigned to me, I smelled mold. Look in the bathroom right away, and there it was all around the bath tub. I asked to be moved right away.

Based on the price and location, I didn't expect much. But I was surprised at how accommodating the staff was with my questions and the assistance they provided while helping me park my moving truck and the car-carrier attached. Also, the a/c worked very well, so I couldn't have asked for much more.

Place is a dump! Trash and cigarette butts all over,couldn't take a shower ,unable to regulate hot and cold.People hanging outside 4am.

We booked the non smoking room,we got in so tired from a very long ride and decided to bare with the smell, took 2 hrs rest then took shower then we found out towels are all stained looks like unwashed terrible terrible dried ourselves with hair dryer.and that gave us the reason to double check our bedsheets pillows and found out stained yellowish and nasty nasty colors with cigarette holes all over, dust in every corner of the room handle-cap handle at the shower is broken.We asked for a replacement of our sheets towels and Lysol, too tired to move to different hotel since it was too late…my wife replaced the sheets and sprayed Lysol all over the bed and the entire room.In this pandemic time all the guests wanted is a clean and comfortable room to stay, in between our tiring travels,but this hotel is not after their guests health and comfort they don’t care if they’re the carrier of the virus because of what they give their guests…unbelievable

No hot water. Shower heads not completely functional. Hair dryer did not operate. Tv remote not operational. No USB port to charge a cell phone. When i told the front desk at check out, she did not want to write down the issues i pointed out. Also door to the room not very safe with the type of locks on it.

Ended up changing rooms the first Room was so terrible, stained sheets. Turned on the shower in the morning and it reaked of BM water wouldn't drain. No wash cloths in second room, one in first room, beds made TERRIBLY! Sheets in second room "Staind" (probay dirty like the first room) NEVER AGAIN

We made a reservation for one king bed, non smoking. We get there, the room they have is two double beds. Walk in the room, previous smoker! Towards evening, the toilet quits flushing..in the morning the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain nor would the bathtub. Spiderwebs hanging down, didn’t see them until the morning. Upon checking in I noticed a sign “certified bed bug free”. That made me feel good. Now I know why they needed to hang the certificate to begin with. Hotels.com needs to remove them from the list until they make some necessary changes. Yes, we could have left. The remaining hotels were twice the price, if not more. When we checked out, they didn’t even care we had problems.

Outside looked old. Inside had been remodeled but not well.

leaky tub (changed to a different room), leaky toilet (fixed), internet not working (fixed), TV not switching on (fixed), strong cigarette smell (not fixed), no sugar for coffee (not fixed), bed sheets with cigar burns (not fixed), missing smoke detector (fixed). They charged $117 for this pitiable room which is adding insult to the injury.

When we arrived to our room the ceiling was leaking in 3 different places, one of which was on the bed, so the whole bed was soaking wet. I had my 2 14 year old girls with me and I was very disgusted by how the room looked & smelled. The fire alarm had been ripped off the wall and it was filthy. The pillows were stained yellow along with the towels and bedding. We probably could have gotten by with the room for the few hours we needed it, but one of the beds was soaked. That is not acceptable and we went to the front desk. We told them about the issue and of course they had no other rooms left, so we left with the reassurance that the manager would call us later that morning, which never happened. In total I was at this hotel for an hour. I want my money back and I can not get any help from anyone. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The worker was very nice ,but seems like its in a bad neighborhood, we had 20 coos at the hotel .for someone.

The only bright spot was Pam the Delk Clerk who was doing laundry at 8:00pm because the Housekeeping staff didn't do it. To bad she's leaving.

It looked unclean. The tub faucet had a stream flowing when off. No ice machine. Room was in very bad repair. Trim missing, no extra lock on door and privacy curtain half off rod. I felt very uncomfortable there and tried not to touch anything. At the price I excepted much much better.

The app said it was non-smoking. The first room smelled so bad I could not enter. The staff was polite when I asked to be relocated. The second room smelled of slight old smoke but it was bearable. At midnight we got guests in the connected room that smoke pot all night and played loud music. It was disgusting.

This property was HORRIBLE!!!!! It was so dirty and ran down. I have pictures. The pillow cases were filled with hair, food in the frig, bugs running around in the ground, toilet didn’t work and was peed in, towels were full of brown stains like they cleaned the floor with them, and much much more I can’t even describe with words! The staff was very apologetic and sweet but there was just nothing they could do. They gave us a new room and it was still the same quality but with just clean sheets! I WANT MY money BACK ASAP!!!!

First room stunk of cigarette smoke and it was a nonsmoking room. There was also a burn in the blanket. Second room, only 2 towels and one had a long brown hair in it.

I was really disappointed... when came to our room and the blankets had black stuff all over them and a foot print!!! I told the front desk and she just said I promise they’re clean the type of blankets that they are don’t look clean but they are... I still insisted I wanted new blanket and I was given one that had a burn whole in it.. then the air conditioner vent was broken and I went to open the refrigerator to use it and good God it smelt awful and had mold in it... I told the front desk again and they said oh I’m sorry and that was it not I’ll get someone over to clean it.. I needed additional towels she went to the dryer because there was none ready and just handed me a pile of towels and said there you go.. very disappointed..

I reserved a double queen bed room. When I arrived I was put in a king room. Toilet had over flown and dried toilet paper and feces on floor. No towels. Fire alarm covered with plastic bag. I am still trying to get a refund from hotels.com. I left immediately and went somewhere else.

Non-smoking room smelled of smoke and had cigarette burns on comforter. Bathroom mirror had water spots -- obviously not cleaned. Towels were all stained.

In the middle of the night, one of those rooms also started leaking in the middle of our bed. (And not all the rooms were cleaned very well, which was concerning during Covid.) The two ladies working that night were SUPER helpful and did everything they could to get us in decent rooms for the night, but management was not great - and seriously, fix the roof. If 3 of the 4 rooms they tried for us were all leaking, it doesn’t seem like this was the first time.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! The room I was given was absolutely disgusting! Dried poop on toilet seat, wad of hair in bath drain, sheets stained and cigarette burns all over, floor sticky with some brown stuff, bathroom sink had some brown slimey stuff in it, spider webs in ceiling corners, and the towels were stained with brown and red stains. Cigarette/ pot smokers right outside my door all night long. Scantily dressed women hanging around the back of the hotel til 3 or 4 am. When i spoke with the manager the next morning all he could say was that he'd talk to his housekeepers!

Bed covers was not clean, no wash cloth was giving ceiling leaking on my head while I slept hotel from hell the worst. I told the desk clerk and the workers on shift that night I needed clean sheets they said ok but never brought any . They clock out a hour later and went home .

I work I. The industry and can definitely understand the difference between a budget and a four diamond. This was the nightmare of nightmares!!!! Coffee stains up the walk, mold and rust in the bathroom, sticky carpets - three room changes and it just got worse!!!!! When I asked the desk staff if they indeed had housekeeping staff they said someone came daily, my suggestion to them was that they offer eye exams to their housekeeping staff as they must surely have issues. This hotel is a health hazard.

Place just was not clean. Towels and rags had stains and should have been discarded. Bathtub and toilet looked like it hadn't been Cleaned from the last guest. Old food left in the fridge bathroom ceiling had mold or dryrott. If i was actually looking for more than just a place to sleep i would definitely not fo back or recommend this place.

Worst hotel ever, i rather sleep in my car than to stay here again. They gave me and my gf a dirty room, there was hair in the tub, old toilet paper on the bathroom floor, and dirty covers with big yellow stains. After seeing how dirty the room was I got accommodated for another room and that room was dirty as well, went through 3 different room and every one was dirty. Long story short I couldn’t get a refund so I ended up asking for cleaning supplies to clean my own room.

It's was ok. But the rooms could use more cleaning.

First of all they told me Expedia was not going through and tried to get me to cancel with Expedia and pay through them ..when we called Expedia and got it all figured out she was embarrassed about it. We got in the room and there were stains on the blamkets, bathroom was fithly and after driving all day we just wanted to take a shower ..we literally laid down and slept and got up early and left aaap ...parking lot was filthy and I was just not impressed with the owners and the motel

The staff was very friendly. However, the room was nasty. The floors were sticky, the bed had several cigarette burns, and the smoke detector was gone. The bathroom wasn’t clean either.

Floor was sticky in my room. Comforter was either dirty or just stained but I asked for new and was asked to come to the desk and pick it up and make my own bed.

SERVICE WAS GREAT ROOM COULD HAVE USED A LITTLE MORE CLEANING. THE FLOORING WAS STAINED AND WAS DIRTY. LOOKED LIKE IT HAD NOT BEEN SWEPPED. THE SHEETS WERE STAINED FROM PREVIOUS USE BUT HAD BEEN WASHED. WASN'T TERRIBLE FOR A ONE NIGHT STAY

The front desk switch us to another room which was the same poor situation. Room next door played loud music until 2:00 am both nights and then started up again at 8:00 am. Guest next door would peak out his window and harass my wife when we would come and go. Breakfast was really bad! Don’t stay here! It was a total disaster!

The room was pretty dirty (floors, table tops) and the toilet leaked when flushed. The door did not shut well and the locks need to be tightened.

We first checked into room 120 but it was quite messy,beds were mad but floor and counters looked dirty and not swept or even wiped down , I asked for another room we were given 108...same style it was ok as far as clean...tub could of used a reglazing but the heater didnt work it was freezing they accommodated by giving us a space heater..i was too exhausted to ask for another room

The room I checked into at 1:15am was already occupied and thank god he was in the bathroom. The night attendant was very confused and incredibly slow. It took an additional 10 minutes to get a new room. Once in the room and another 20 minutes later, there was a violent disturbance right outside the door. I had to look to see if anything was going to continue. The rest of the night was quite rough as the heat did not work in the room and there was a strong draft coming in from around the entire frame of the door. Will be canceling my reservation for next week and will also never stay at this hotel again.

Overall, not a terrible place to stay. I have stayed in much better and I have stayed in much worse. My only complaint was the dirty floors in the bathroom. It looked as if it had not been swept or mopped in sometime. There was actually a wrist band behind the bathroom door. The furniture in the room was outdated and busted up in some places. The bed was comfortable and clean, which was the only thing I was worried about. It served its purpose, to allow me to get about 6 hours of sleep.

The room wasn’t a comfortable clean. The bedding had stains, we didn’t even want to sleep on it. We didn’t want to touch anything in the room.
